Hye-Rin (The Original Shiiiit)
They grow up so fast ;;;;
All the changes:
Type: Mutation
Rank:D
Effects:Hye-rin is able to sprout flowers across her body, almost as if her pores are clogged with seeds. Once the flora has bloomed, the wounds of those around her will begin to mend.
The flowers blooming depends on both the moisture in the air and sunlight. If inside a building or stranded in a desert, they will remain buds.
D rank healing- Heals deep wounds over 2 rounds.
Drawback and Weaknesses:Once they have opened and the pollen has filled the air, they will shrivel up and fall off. There is also a cooldown of two posts in between blooming bouts.
Summary: Used two of Hye-Rin's EP to give her an additional 500 exp to her bank of 440.
I gave her two new F-rank abilities (200 exp) along with upgrading her Capoeira ability to E-rank (200 exp).
Plus an additional combat enhancement ability for stamina (E-rank, 300 exp)
After that, I went ahead and used the last of it to upgrade her Quirk to D-rank.
Here's the math for y'all:
440 (current exp) + 750 (EP exp) = 940 - 200 (F-rank abilities) - 200 (Fighting upgrade) - 400 (Quirk upgrade) - 100 (Stamina ability) = 290 exp remaining!!!!!

APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Hye-rin was born looking as normal as one could. However, when her Quirk began to manifest, she nor her parents could hide the sudden outbursts of flora sprouting everywhere. She's always been a petite girl, hardly growing from when she was in middle school. Along with that, the innocence in her golden eyes has remained the same as well.

DISLIKES
✖ Discrimination against Quirks
✖ Dry Summer days
✖ Tight Spaces
✖ Vegetables
Personality:
The little flower girl is very warm-hearted, and has a hard time saying no to people in need. Because of this, Hye-rin's kindness is often taken advantage of, but she doesn't really notice. She is always happy to put the people around her before herself, believing that it's the way things should be. Her papa did his best to raise her to be a responsible and mature young lady, and she is thankful each day that she was taken in by him. She may not be the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, but she tries to be the friendliest one! Whether it's good or bad, she always tries to keep her head held high and smile without fear!
After everything she's been through, Hye-rin finds it hard to get close to others completely. Her birth parents' abuse and neglect left her afraid of trusting anyone was much as she once trusted them. On top of this, she's incredibly afraid of failure, as disappointing the two people who should have loved her more than the whole world just by being herself ended in her entire life changing for the worse. Though therapy has helped her a lot, Hye-rin still struggles from time to time with her past. When these times come, she tends to lock herself away from everyone both physically and emotionally, locking herself in her room until it passes.
Because of her birth parents and the tough standards of beauty back home in South Korea, Hye-rin had grown to despise her Quirk. Though her Quirk may seem beautiful to some, others see her as a complete outsider. She had tried to forget the cruel stares from people back home, but they were etched into the back of her mind and still are. Today, however, she is trying to turn a new leaf and learn to love every bit of herself. Her Quirk has a use now, but it's still hard to get past what she's been through because of it. Hye-rin hopes that she can change the minds of others with how she uses her Quirk to help, and that maybe her birth parents will see her shine and feel regret for what they did.

HISTORY
Lee Hye-rin was born in Daegu, South Korea to two equally attractive Quirkless parents. Being born as they were, the two had advantages growing up that the less fortunate didn't- job opportunities, respect, and popularity- all because of the way they looked. Everything went as planned, too, for the blossoming little girl until around the age of four, when Hye-rin's parents received a call from her teacher. Much to their dismay, their daughter had sprouted a tiny red flower buds on the tip of her nose. Soon, it turned to a whole meadow of them all over her face! From a distance, it looked like a bad case of chicken pox. To Hye-rin, she had become even prettier than before.
But, her parents thought otherwise.
It was a mixture of the rumors around their places of work and neighborhood and their own stigma against Quirkers that caused the girl's mother and father to hate their own daughter. To beat their own daughter. The teachers at her pre-school saw the bruises, yet did nothing. She cried often at school, but the children did nothing. Three years passed, and Hye-rin couldn't take anymore. It was when she was at the end of her rope that her Quirk finally began to lessen the load she carried. It was a rough morning as she walked to school in daylight, bruises running up her arm from the beating the day before making her cringe whenever she poked them. Suddenly, the buds on her hands began to bloom. It took seconds for the pain to go away, and it felt as if a wash of brief happiness fell over her. Could the Quirk that had plagued her for so long really help her now? Other rough days went by like that, and they bloomed all the same. She thought it was the only blessing she would get for a while, but fate had other plans.
A few months had gone by when a passing, seemingly glowing red Vigilante, Empathy, chasing an evil-doer noticed her walking home alone in the dark. It took approximately five seconds of looking at her to make up his mind, and he took her in on the spot. He was just like her- stuck with a Quirk he didn't want- and Hye-rin felt safe for the first time in her life by his side. Her parents didn't look for her, nor were any missing posters posted anywhere in town. Kang became her new last name, and she was now the proud daughter of a single father.
The pair moved to Jeju, and the two started a new life there, getting Hye-rin therapy as soon as they settled. Empathy, citizen name Kang Do-young, had retired from his brief career as a vigilante and had pursued his true dream- inventing. His Quirk, Emotional Roller Coaster, made it quite hard to find a job in his field, so he became a freelancer. His mood swings were bad some days, but he would never take his anger out on his daughter, especially since she was taking long strides to be as healed as she could from her traumatic past. He took odd jobs where-ever he could so that they could make ends meet, and it was this love that helped Hye-rin the most.
Though she was finally happy, the pre-teen still struggled. People would stare at her on the street, much to her father's dismay, and she knew how strange she looked to the average person. The poor girl had never learned to control her Quirk, and she accidentally sprouted buds of roses and tulips along her arms on the daily. Whenever she would pluck them from her skin, it stung as if she was being pricked with a needle- a sharp sting, then nothing. Of course, they always came back. Hye-rin was plagued with terrible luck, and the higher power that had cursed her with this finicky Quirk had to be laughing at her from the clouds.
It was until the girl was walking home from school one day, picking at the small buds that grew from the backs of her hands that her feelings about her Quirk changed, if only slightly. A hit and run, right before her eyes, and the victim was left injured in middle of the street. It was a lonely road in Jeju City, one that people didn't often take unless they wanted to keep away from prying eyes, and unfortunately this man couldn't be left alone for the five minutes it would take to find someone. Desperate and afraid, Hye-rin felt she could do nothing but keep the man company until the ambulance she called for arrived. But, as if the will to aid someone in need had watered the buds themselves, the flowers bloomed for the first time since her parents bruised her arms and legs. And, just as they had helped Hye-rin in her time of need, so too did they help the man. It wasn't anything major, but it kept him going long enough for the paramedics to arrive.
Needless to say, Hye-rin went home proud that day. After the story had been very enthusiastically yelled told to Empathy, he showed her an article in the newspaper about a hero school opening in Japan. And, just as the two had started their own adventure in Jeju, they started a new one in Musatafu.
That was months ago. Equipped with basic knowledge of the Japanese language and the fighting style Capoeira from a strange instructor in Tokyo, Hye-rin was ready to join the fight against evil with her flower power!
