Clutching in his small furry hands, Jisa walked with a small stride in his step. Soft plush feet moving along in a quiet almost flop like to his step. His large ears perked up and realigning often as the sounds of the town all around kept them at attention listening to all the on goings going on around him. Clutched in his hand a small first aid kit with a few odds and ends inside. He'd been spending some of his free time while all by his lonesome in his dorms with little to do like other students. Trying to piece together a well made first aid kid and package for his hero costume ideas he'd been working on. Thinking it'd have been a grand idea to have proper ways of communications and aiding injuries to help those in need. While he trained he wanted to get his mind of the lonesome void UA had become while so many were away seeing family or on vacation and only the lonely more silent dorm building was left with him beyond a few friendly faces that remained or the new years he knew little to nothing about.
While lonely small things like this kept his mind of things. Like he was raised to always keep busy and keep happy as best he could or at least as cheerful as he could keep himself. He never liked to make others said or feel like a bother. wanting to help people only which was part of the reason he was so attracted to the hero's of today and wanting to be like them. People that made everything better when they arrived. People big and strong who had no fear of danger like red horn, Or clever and keen minded like the amazing army of one, All the teachers as well he could only hope within that one day he could be able to help as much as they do one day... Even if he was no where near as strong or anything like they were. Sighing ot himself as he walked carefully through town back towards UA watching the occasional people who passed by or small children that often smiled at him finding his form adorable like a plush. Some girls occasionally giggling at him or the weirder stares from the older folks. It was normal to not be seen as... normal. He watched occasionally some of the skaters at a small skate park as he walked home walking at his own pace down the way on the sidewalk along the way.

372 words ft. jisatsu keiko Another day, another afternoon in the skatepark. Kenji was dipping down quarter-pipes and swimming fluidly through the bowls. It was a pretty chill day, to be quite honest. The sun was bright, a faint breeze was blowing... it was nice.
School was on recess for a few more days, which meant junior high and high school students alike had flocked to the park. It was a little more crowded than usual, and idle minds were devising ways to keep themselves entertained.
One such distraction, for a gaggle of older boys, was to take massive sections of stick and sling them towards the wheels of passing skateboarders-- mostly the small and defenseless ones who couldn't do shit about it. Some of the cool older boys had gone and given them words, but nothing stopped them from exacting their cruel treatment.
One such stick was flung under Kenji's board, got caught in his wheels, and sent the boy airborne. He'd been low to the ground, knees bent, so when he started to fall, his hands and knees were the first point of contact. He didn't have time to throw a slippery disc, and he went down hard. The unyielding pavement bit into his knees and palms, tearing fresh scrapes into his skin.
"Ah, crap!" the boy hissed loudly, rolling into a sitting position to survey the damage. The boys who had slung the stick laughed and high-fived, and Kenji's board went speeding towards the fence, til it collide with a loud, metallic crash.
"Aw, geez," the boy murmured, more to himself as he surveyed the damage. His hands were pock-marked from the rough landing, with bits of gravel stuck in places. He brushed his hands off, then looked to his knees-- dripping blood with a vengeance. He'd better go to the bathroom and rise his knees off-- if he didn't, Auntie would give him Hell for getting blood on his socks. Kenji got stiffly to his feet, shuffling towards the fence to retrieve his board. Forget these guys, anyways. He didn't want to skate in the park if the high schooler's were going to knock him down. Hot tears pricked his eyes as he retrieved his board, and made his way for the gate.

It hadn't taken him long to notice. Being a spirit more of kindness and politeness his attention had almost quickly moved from the assailants he saw to the injured fellow who was almost sure hadn't even noticed him walking about. He was sorta used to either being the one people stared at or just kinda didn't see given his short stature and weirdness of his mutation for one reason or another. Moving quickly though without out much through on it as all things a happened. Quick feet and ears perked a small speedy bullet of a bun moved quickly down the side walk along a chain link border between him and a sudden rush towards a new objective.
Right around the time the young skateboarder would have reached the gate leaving the jerks behind! He'd have encountered someone already swinging the gate open in the opposite direction making sure it was in no way possible to accidentally hit the poor lad. It might have taken him a moment to notice the shorter boy in front of him but large pointy ears helping make up a small portion of the height difference at least kept high and may have drawn eyes rather quickly.
A small teary eyed furry face looking up at him with a frantic and wiggling small rabbit like nose with whiskers jossling all together crating a slightly frantic if not truly worried expression. One arm holding onto to several bundles of small bags and other small things from his little shopping spree for things to put together for the pack idea he was considering for his future costume and the functionality of said costume for the type of hero he was hoping to become. The other hand held up in a sorta stop gesture! Well at least as close as Jisa could come to that given his small stubby fingers were sometimes hard to see on his large plush like hands. Or at least large to him but still small in their own right compared to anyone else.
"Halt!" He'd say the phrase a bit out of place but it was all he could think to say at first. "I'm Jisatsu Keiko! Student of UA and future support hero! Please allow me to treat your your injuries before they get any worse!" He'd say perhaps attempting to appear serious thinking the phrase he'd uttered might give some sense of importance enough to get the fellow to listen to his suggestion. Although it likely didn't come off as cool and official as he imagined. Sadly similar to most times he tried to act serious. But still his hand held up and bundle of goodies and medical stuff in the other arm. He seemed determined to get the boy to listen to him and his little fuzzy face lightly scrunched up as he tried to at least look determined as well in his endeavor.

204 words ft. jisatsu keiko Kenji took a step back when the gate was pushed open, expecting someone to come barging through, but no one came. The gate, however, remained open. The red-haired lad lifted his eyes, and saw… a bunny. Not like a pet-store bunny, a mutant one. They were short and… honestly, it was hard to tell if they were a boy or a girl. But they were definitely a bunny, complete with twitching nose and whiskers and watery eyes.
It took Kenji a few moments to realize that he was looking at another person, and that they were speaking to him. The shock froze the tears in his eyes as they gave their introduction-- he was Jisatsu Keiko, a student-hero something and he treated injuries.
“You’re a bunny,” the boy observed, perhaps a little insensitively. He mopped at eyes with the cuff of his sleeve. Looking at his knee. That must have been why he was here.
“I-it’s okay,” he insisted, “Thank you. I’m mostly just embarrassed.”
It was a prett gnarly abrasion, though, there was no denying that. And the blood was starting to trickle down his knee. He needed to wash this before he bled all over his socks.
“E=excuse me,” the boy insisted.

The momentary silence and step back didn't bother Jisa too much. He was used to people not always reacting as they would to a normal person when meeting him. Part of the reason he often avoided most people. If not for UA probably still being a overly silent super introvert like before. But he had to resist such things now. His pit of a stomach with a rock at its center would have to wait... Someone needed help and he could wait to let his worry take over later. "Maybe I should have given you more warning before saying hi... Sorry." He'd say softly with a light gulp arms still full of supplies as he looked up making sure to keep a small warm smile even if it always did hurt a little when people seemed to react as they did.
He thought about arguing the fact he was a person but semantics didn't matter at the moment. "I guess you could say that... I seem to have the appropriate appeal to be one at least." Giving a nervous shrug trying to come off as kind and easy going. Perhaps to help calm and try and achiever a attitude between the two that would allow the man to play along. But he tried to simply squeeze by perhaps he was embarrassed given what he said? He tried to think quickly as not only did the scent of blood flood his sense of smell but he could see it dripping. Crimson signs that the boy needed at least minor care. Jisa following quickly behind not stopping the boy from going by but remaining quickly at his heels.
"Wait, wait, wait, We really should look at that! Its not good to leave uncleaned or wrapped! Its really no big deal for me to help if you want!" Following along trying to implore as kindly as he could to be of assistance. Small thumping footsteps quickly made following Kenji not far behind.

284 words ft. jisatsu keiko Great, now Kenji felt like an asshole. The boy had no filter, and was also prone to stating the flagrantly obvious. In doing so, however, he realized that he’d probably made what appeared to be a mutant child self-conscious about their mutation. Hindsight was 20-20. Oops.
“Don’t be sorry,” the boy said quickly, his looking past the assumed-kid and towards the bathrooms. He was going to get blood on his socks if he waited around much longer. As Kenji stepped around the rabbit-person, they called after him.
The boy had no intention of stopping. But, unforeseen by the child, the wound was worse than he let-on. He’d pinched a nerve and, upon stepping weird, a spasm of pain went through his leg. Kenji sucked air through his teeth, his knee buckling. At least he managed to maintain some dignity by making it look like he’d suddenly decided to take a seat by the sidewalk, rather than crumpling to the ground like a little bitch.
“I think I pulled something, actually,” he said through clenched teeth, gingerly poking at the gash. He winced, and then wiped at the dribbling blood, preventing it from staining his sock. Sitting down, he was now at eye-level with (or a little shorter than) the bunny mutant. They’d said they were a future hero and a student at UA…
“Do you really go to Yuuei?” the child asked. The question was double-edged… on one hand, he was politely intrigued by the prospect of being in the company of a Yuuei student. On the other hand, they looked like a literal child, and therefore not old enough to attend a high school… but perhaps that was just part of their mutation.

He fumbled and stumbled not far behind but keeping up as best he could but also trying to ensure he didn't lose any or at least as little as possible of his first aid bits for his pack he planned to build. Frantically trying to make sure the boy didn't simply leave in his condition. Gulping nervously not quite sure why he was being dejected or walked away from? Was it cause of his appearance again? His shyness trying to pull through as he worried what if the way he looked was upsetting this boy but still keeping up all the same merely wanting to help.
"Um, Yea I'm a student there studying hero stuff... Mainly rescue things sorta. Training to help people and learn ways to treat people too! Hence why I really think you should at least let me bandage you up a bit please! It's not gonna do anyone any good if those scraps get dirty!" He'd say frantically a bit sniffling looking up at the boy trying to make sure any distance between them never got to far. Thankfully given the question he hoped at least perhaps he could maybe get the boy's attention a bit more now. Hopefully the question he at least hoped meant maybe he was making the starting connection to helping was maybe at least forming now.

224 words ft. jisatsu keiko Kenji held close to the wound, clutching his knee. The cold air against the fresh gash stung, and deep in the muscles that connected to his kneecap, there was a low throb. His uneducated observation that he "may have pulled something" was accurate. He'd sprained his knee. For the rabbit mutant, however, this was a small streak of fortune. It meant he had a captive audience, and a somewhat-willing patient.
"A rescue hero," the boy echoed. He couldn't keep the impressed note out of his tone. "My dad's a hero. A cowboy." He meant Charles, of course, "He keeps a low profile, though. So you probably haven't heard of him." Kenji knew that Charles was a vigilante, and the legal implications of such. But in the boy's mind, he was a hero, through and through.
"Sure," Kenji said begrudgingly, "I can't really go anywhere anyways." Because his knee hurt so bad.
"Do you have a hero name?"
People at hero schools had to have hero names. And if the bunny boy wanted to be a hero, he should practice using his hero name-- that was Kenji's personal opinion, anyways. He asked questions to fill the silence. Anything to distract from the throbbing of his knee, while the rabbit boy went about doing what needed to be done, in order to make the necessary repairs.

He followed along a bit of a hop in his step making sure to move at a lightly quick pace. His small stature and short legs meant he had to keep moving quick or risk falling behind most normal height people his age. But he was light on his fit and always good at keeping up when needed so thankfully he kept rather easily from accidentally falling behind. Holding his belongings in his arms and in their bags as best one might.
"A cowboy huh?, That sounds pretty cool. Must have been nice growing up with a hero for a dad?" He'd add trying to make conversation to hopefully build up some sort of bit of friendliness and kindness between them. A small bit of a trust to help with the desire to give first aid to the boy.
He smiled happily nose wiggling and his whiskers wiggling as well from it. Getting down on one knee as he would softly clean the boy's scratched up knees after lifting and rolling up the pant legs enough to work. Applying some fluid from a bottle to clean in and after applying simple gauze and bandages. Carefully taking care of it even small wounds as they were wrapping them in a semi professional way. At least enough to know he knew what he was doing to say the least. Holding a hand up after as if gesturing once the knees were taken care of for the boy to offer his hands so he could help with the scraps on the palms if Kenji accepted.
"Oh me? Heh... I mean I haven't thought about it much. Human Hare is what I put up on the official papers though. You know given what I look like sorta!" Chuckling a bit as his other hand gestured to his fuzzy body. As if saying the name was for quite clearly obvious reasons.

262 words ft. jisatsu keiko Kenji winced as the smaller boy worked, gritting his teeth against the urge to gasp. The anti-bacterial whatever-it-was stung. Violently.
"He wasn't always my Dad," Kenji confessed, smiling faintly, "But yes. It is nice having him as a dad."
The "Human Hare" worked quickly, applying the gauze to the bleeding wound and then wrapping his knee. Much more badass than a band-aid. The other boy held out his hands and, in confusion, Kenji gave him one of his own. Was he going to try and help Kenji to his feet? Because Kenji was bigger than he was...
It seemed that the young teen had misunderstood though, for the other boy turned his hand over. With how much his knee had throbbed, Kenji hadn't even noticed the stinging in his palms, which were pockmarked and tiny scrapes from the fall.
"Your hands are soft," the redhead observed. That was probably a stupid thing to say. Kenji was stupid. Oh well. As the bunny boy went to wok again, Kenji chewed on the hero name.
"Human Hare," he repeated, "What would people even shorten that too, though? Like... Human? Hugh?" If you thought of cartoon characters... like Bigsby Bunny! Everyone called him Bigsby.
"My hero name is gonna be Slapdash," the young boy proclaimed, totally off-the-cuff, "Slaps for short."
He said this without realizing that he hadn't established himself as a quirker yet. The boy really was a fool, sometimes. But he was also a show-off, and eager to show-off his super-awesome hero name. He also was eager to show-off his super-awesome English skills.

He felt a little smile come across his lips as slowly small talk was made. The boy speaking proudly and kindly of his guardian. Jisa listening with perked ears as they spoke to one another. Calm conversation sometimes helping a patient calm after all as he'd apply basic first aid. Sometimes keeping someone calm and in conversation could both good for the one distributing medical care and the patient themselves in staying relaxed and or alert if needed pending the over all health and medical situation.
"Heheh, Yea all my fur is soft! I've been told allot of people like to touch it but sometimes it tickles people a little." Giggling a little at the comment. He always saw the soft fur he had as an extra method at his disposal to calm and help patients relax as well. It was nice to see such a reaction to it in actual practice now as well. Giving him a small sense of pride building within his chest as his warm smile remained ever present as he'd finish cleaning the wounds and scraps lightly while securing the dressing and bandages as best he could without making them to tight but only just snug enough as they'd need to be so it'd be comfortable and best suited for healing as well as keeping the wounds clean.
"Guess I never thought about shortening it?... I dunno, Maybe just Hare given how I look? I suppose whatever makes people most comfortable is find with me though. And Slapdash? That sounds kinda cool! Does that mean you have some neat powers too if I might ask?" He'd ask curiously finishing off the last of the dressing snugly securing them so the boys scraps would not only be clean now but properly wrapped as well. "Ah! There we go! Should be good to go for now as long as you don't push yourself to much for a little while." Giving a warm grin and a nod that quickly was followed up by a small stubby thumbs up to show everything was spot on.

318 words ft. jisatsu keiko Kenji watched as the Human Hare made quick work of the boy’s hands, applying salve, wrapping bandages. He talked distractedly about his own hero name, but seemed attentive to Kenji’s own little slip, asking about any quirk that the child might have. Kenji shrugged his shoulders, looking away. What did he have to be ashamed of, though? He was talking to a mutant. If there was anyone you could talk about quirks to, it’d be someone who wore their quirk on the outside.
“I have a quirk,” the boy confirmed cryptically. The other boy finished, smiling and offering a thumb’s up.
“Thanks,” Kenji mumbled, getting stiffly to his feet. Everything still twinged, but at least he didn’t have to worry about bleeding on his socks.
Ever the showoff, though, an idea dawned-on the boy. He tucked his skateboard under his arm.
“Do you, uh… wanna see what I can do?” he asked. His tone had brightened considerably from the churlish tone he had taken earlier, when the other boy was tending to his injuries. Showing-off was one of Kenji’s favorite things to do, even for strangers.
Regardless of the enthusiasm of the other boy's answer, Kenji would fish his phone out of his pocket, and show him the back.
"Feel my phone. See how it's so smooth?"
He generated a pink aura around his hands, a sticky disc, and applied it to his phone. Then he ran over to the nearest tree and, with a leap, stuck it to the trunk.
"I can make things sticky or slippery," Kenji said eagerly, "My friends call me Slapdash 'cuz I tend to slap things to make them sticky or slippery, and then I runaway. Get it?"
He looked eagerly towards the other boy, awaiting his reaction. If he was a student at U.A., he was older, which meant he someone worthy of seeking attention from.
