In the wake of the chaos that had been the sports Festival's numerous cheering activities, competitions, and general exposure to the masses of humanity, Arisu had been left almost completely burnt out. She didn't want to leave the room she shared with Aroneia, she didn't want to go to class, she didn't want to do anything but run her heart out before dawn and sneak out after nightfall to practice using her quirk as a propulsion method. However, seeing as how Aroneia had enrolled too late to engage in the very same things that took the wind out of her roommate's sails, it wasn't surprising that they found themselves with different ideas of what would make a good afternoon out of the dorms.
The first thing that piqued the interest of both was a trip to the beach on an unseasonably warm day.
The trip across town itself might have been a fascinating thing for Aroneia, whizzing past all manner of interesting location in the comfy seats of a city bus, perhaps giving her earmarks for later trips of interest to drag Arisu on, but Arisu spent the trip dozing against her roommate and staring out the window to mark their progress, trusting the highest quality resting bitch face this side of Kana Endrick. Before too terribly long, the bus PA chimed and announced they'd arrived- Dagobah Beach. Arisu finally fought her way to full wakefulness and yanked the pullcord to keep the driver from leaving before they disembarked, clambering off with their backpacks stuffed full of snacks, towels, and swimsuits.
The latter they'd have cause to put to use in short order, what with the changing stalls lining the beach and offering a chance to rinse off in a shower both before and after the ocean. Arisu ducked into hers and made liberal use of the shower before stepping back out, changed into a rather delicate bikini top over a matching swimskirt-bottom pairing. And the obligatory flipflops, of course!
Off to the right end of this particular section of beach was a set of rocky outcroppings that could be climbed by the adventurous- to the left, sandy beach extending beyond the curve of the coast. The water was sparkling, clear, and blue as one could hope for, the sun warm and the wind not at all terrible for this time of year.
If Aroneia wasn't out yet, Arisu would happily wait- if she was, she'd flash a smile as she stepped out, twisting her hips minutely to let the skirt swish at mid-thigh. "Do you see a good place to lay out the blankets and stuff? I wanna see if the water's okay!" She had already re-shouldered her backpack, and to look at her, it'd be easy to mistake her for quirkless- the only visible hint suggesting she wasn't was the thin strip of darkened veins right around each wrist, marking her like bracelets as they trailed back up her arms.
