Progression
<Chain Gang> Upgrading From: Type: Transformation Rank: C Effect: Upon an invisible activation of his quirk, the user gains the ability to separate his body in any way he desires, leaving it connected to the rest of the body by a thick, metallic chain. The user is also able to launch and pull back the separated body part when it is divided, at greater speed and power than what the user would normally be able to. Not only that, the user retains control over the movements of the bodypart that is divided and able to influence its trajectory, depending on the size of what is launched. Currently, the quirk has these properties: -The chains have the durability of solid, thick iron -They are able to launch and pull bodyparts with a speed limit comparable to double the fastest baseball pitches in the world (slower the heavier the bodypart launched is, obviously) -The power at which it is launched (and pulled) is strong enough to break through iron -The chains can currently stretch as far as a bowling court -Currently, Hakai is able to create a total of four separate chains. Drawback: Just like all quirks, using the quirk to its full duration taxes the user's stamina, leaving him tired and sluggish. The transformation only lasts for four turns, at which point it goes into a cooldown of three turns. Using the quirk to its fullest extent leaves the user feeling wobbly and motion sick once it ends and, abusing it by disobeying the cooldown can leave the user in such a state that he can no longer even stand, as well as vomiting everything he has in his stomach, as well as being unable to think straight from dizzyness. Worse so, although the chains are quite thick, they aren't indestructible. Destroying a a chain will be the equivalent of severing whatever part was separated from the more important parts of the body (lungs, heart, head), as well as being just as painful as having an actual limb severed. The user is, predictably, weak to rusting and, though it is considerably difficult to completely destroy the chain just by rusting, it can cause a great deal of pain and weaken the chain, forcing the user to either retract it or risk having a bodypart severed.
