WORD COUNT; TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Feeling sick without being sick. Feeling tired without having done anything. Feeling pain without being in battle. Lords, this was all the types of wrong that Aki could think of. Lying in bed, it hadn't been that long ago, that she had a strange mask on her face. The nurse said it was to help her breathe easier, to make her body relax and calm, so that she could regain her strength. Regaining strength meant that she had lost her strength..? That in itself was a strange concept. People only got stronger as they got older, until they were too old to stay strong. Never before had Aki heard that strength could vanish. Nevertheless, she certainly felt the concept at work. Moving around was difficult, painful. Grabbing something to hold onto it was hard. If something was a little too heavy, she could feel every wound on her body threathen to open, forcing her to let go. The huntress was weak. Weaker than she had ever been before in her life, and it sucked. Every moment of this sucked. Groaning softly to herself, Aki was truly stuck between a rock and a hard place. There wasn't even anything but her phone to entertain herself with, and unlike most of the student base, Aki wasn't exactly doing great when it came to handling stuff like games or entertainment... Thus most of her entertainment came from talking in the chat. The redhead wasn't energetic enough to really keep chatting though, so for the most part she lurked.
Bored. In pain. Alone. Boyfriend had disappeared, vanished into thin air. The remainder of the pack had somewhat poked their heads in to take a gander, but of course they couldn't stay for long. Chimera had his own things to do. Yojin was an odd one. Aki couldn't ever really tell if he enjoyed the whole pack idea or not. Naoru had also poked his head in. Though for whatever reason, despite him being present, it had felt like he was somewhere else. Very puzzling to the wildling, who couldn't imagine being somewhere, yet not being there. Somehow that just didn't make any sense. Looking out the window, the girl stared off into freedom. How she longed to be out there. How she longed to feel free. How she longed for these stupid wounds to start healing so she wouldn't be tied to this stupid bed!

You don't need a dream or even a tomorrow Just live
He didn't even know her that well. They only had talked one, maybe two times since meeting each other. So why was it that Ryuusei Igarashi was making is way to the Yuuei Infirmary after the end of classes to visit Aki Koyama?
There wasn't a very strong reason: he just felt that it was the right thing to do. Maybe it was the way his brain had of trying to erase the sins he had committed - even if that was impossible. But Ryuusei was actually worried for the 1-C Student. She had been recently stabbed - an event Ryuu didn't know much about, since he never really paid much attention to the news regarding Yuuei - and, if Ryuu was right, not many people would end up visiting her. Her speech was basic, her life had been spent in the woods, a wildling readjusting to the city life... Being alone in a hospital bed was a feeling that Ryuu knew well.
Still dressed with his school Uniform, Ryuusei held a large plastic bag on his left hand and carried his backpack on one shoulder. He had been told that, at this time of the day, Aki should be fine enough to receive one or two visits. He knocked on the door two times before entering.
Hello Aki, do you remember me?, he asked as he walked in the room.
Grabbing a chair, he sat next to the girl's bed. There he made a simple question to start their conversation.
How are the wounds healing up?

WORD COUNT; TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy The infirmary was a prison. At least in their room, Aki could feel a bit like she was resting up in her own lair. In her own nest. In her own home. This place wasn't a place where she felt she could get any rest. Perhaps that is why the black rings around her eyes were so profound. There had been different visitors from time to time. Most of the time, a visit meant that Aki got herself excited. Getting excited meant spending more energy. Spending more energy meant she drained herself. Draining herself meant going straight back to sleep. It was probably one of the best ways she could spend her time. Having some amount of fun while awake, before sinking straight into sleeping the moment said fun was over. It somewhat worked keep her sanity mostly stable. Staying in one place, tied down by her own weakness, wasn't something Aki had an easy time tolerating...So, when the visitor came by, Aki, who had been slowly dozing off, turned her attention to him almost immediately. The brown eyes inspecting Ryuusei, as she narrowed them slightly, furrowing her brow, trying to remember. Then suddenly it dawned on the redhead wildling. This was the invisible boy! Despite looking like utter trash, and her movements being sluggish and odd, a soft, gentle smile appeared on her lips. "Invisible... man.... Rsuj.. Rooisi?..." Panting softly, she was not in any good shape, not even remotely. Still, his pressence seemed to cheer her up a little, which couldn't be a bad thing, right? "...Aki healing... ...Aki cannot..." The girl panted again, breathing softly, as if talking exhausted her. ".....find Alex... Made Alex invi... sibile?" Looking at him softly, she had been looking everywhere for Alex over these past few weeks... but he was nowhere to be found. "Aki miss..."

You don't need a dream or even a tomorrow Just live
Ryuusei... but that's close enough, he said before sitting down, replying to the words that Aki Koyama uttered from her bed, panting from fatigue in-between every word.
Now closer to her, Ryuusei took the chance to take a good look at how the girl from class 1-C was... and it did not seem good. She was pale and visibily drained from her strenghts. A wild animal that had been attacked and didn't understand why she still couldn't go freely run in the forest. It reminded Ryuu not only of himself a few months ago, but also of how he felt every time he went to visit his older sister... perhaps that was the real reason that made him visit Aki.
He leaned his body forward while the red-haired girl talked, not only to hear her better but also to not force her to speak louder and waste energy that did not needed to be wasted. It was pretty evident that even talking was, right now, a painful thing for Aki to do. She told Ryuusei about Alex, how she couldn't find him and how she missed him... How maybe Ryuusei had made him invisible.
Alex? the name echoed in Ryuu's head, the boy trying to figure out who that was.
A friend? Maybe something more than that? Her eyes poured emotion as she spoke about it, so perhaps it was that. Either way: Ryuusei didn't know him and, obviously, had nothing to do with his said disappearing, but... how could he explain that to such a fragile being?
I did not turn him invisible - the 1-A student figured that being honest was always better than telling lies - But I can try to look for him while you are here. And then when you're strong we look for him together. Does that sound good? he asked, trying to not make her lose hope of finding the one she longed for.
After this - and in an attempt to change subjects, since he did not want to make Aki any more sad than what she already appeared to be - Ryuusei placed the plastic bag he had brought with him on top of his own legs.
I brought you some gifts - he said while he looked with one hand around the bag - I know that closed buildings probably aren't your type of thing, so I figured I could try to bring a little bit of home here.
If Ryuusei was not mistaken and wasn't misremembering, Aki was from the wilderness: mountains, forests, nature. So, before coming to visit, he went to the nearest forest to grab what was now inside the bag. He placed everything on the table situated on Aki's bedside: one pine cone, little branches, some tree leaves, a couple of flowers and some green grass. Once everything was displayed in a way that Aki could see, Ryuusei would add:
It's not much, but at least it brings the smell of nature... I guess. The infirmary has a weird smell, so it's better to cover it up with this, don't you think?
