WORD COUNT; TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy The fever was getting worse, but she was almost there. Not that Aki figured it mattered much. Wounds like these would kill anyone in the wilds. Even the toughest of hunters. There was nothing which could be done out there, and she had very little understanding of advanced medicine. From above, small flakes of snow were still falling, landing on her shoulders as she stepped forwards. It was odd, to feel this incredibly cold yet incredibly warm at the same time. Forehead was covered in sweat, as her body was still working on complete overtime to even have her remaining upright. Behind her, was a red trail left behind, as she trudged through the snow. It emanated from her torso, where a long, deep red cut was soaking her clothing. It began at her top right shoulder, and ended at her hip on the left side. A wild, deep swing, appearing almost as if whoever had caused it, had been trying to split the wildling in twain. Stumbling, Aki fell over again. How many times had she fallen over at this point?.. It was like her legs weren't being proper legs at this point. It was like walking around on two stilts of pudding or something. Frankly, super annoying. Rolling over onto her back, she picked out her phone again. With shaking fingers, she decided to do the most logical thing she could think of. Letting everyone know, that she was departing this here world. Letting everyone know, whom was to have what of her stuff. Of course Naoru-kun would get the bow. He was an awful hunter, and Aki was certain that when she was gone, there'd be no one left to hunt for him. Aki didn't want him to starve, so maybe her bow could help him finally become a better hunter.
Darren had always been interesting, so of course he could have some stuff too. Maybe some of Aki's homemade fur gloves, or maybe a set of pants. Something to keep him warm and comfortable during this winter. Chimera-kun and Yojin-kun were both amazing people, whom Aki adored to the heavens. They were part of her pack, and thus would have everything else that she had to give. It was only fair after they had treated her so well, despite all the accidents that occured while invading their room. After having written it all onto the phone, Aki tried to get up again. This time, she only managed a few more steps, before sinking into the snow, her back against a roadway tree. It was dark out. It was snowing, windy, cold. A final message was written onto the board, about how Aki had almost made it home. Almost made it all the way to the gates of Yuuei. All Aki needed was a little rest, and she'd get there. Get there to say goodbye. Blinking a couple of times, Aki held her hands in towards her chest, her phone lodged inbetween her fingers, trying to maintain some kind of warmth.
Just a short rest and she'd move all the way home. At least she had managed to somehow escape that crazed woman, the Painter or what was it. Naoru-kun apparently knew her. It seemed like the two of them knew each other from somewhere. Perhaps she could ask him, if she got to see him. Closing her eyes, a few deep breaths were taken, before the girl quietly fell asleep in the snow. Seeming so peaceful and calm, despite everything going on around her. Skin rapidly turning all manner of different shades of blue... and not a healthy blue like Junko.

❝You're showing me colours of the sky, But all I see is Grey❞ 334 w. kenjutsu-f | reinforcement-f | radiant dawn-e Relena didn't know who this Aki girl was and, to be honest, it didn't matter. Of all the times to decide upon joining the UA chat, it happened to be a time like this. This girl was talking about dying, which Relena had passed off as a joke of some kind. But when Aki was continuing on about some kind of epitaph, that was when she had started getting worried.
"God damnit!" She swore as she ran out of her room, sprinting down the girls' dorm hallway. She leaped down the stairs and landed, tucking herself into a roll before continuing her sprint toward the door. She continued to send her messages to Aki, but none were responded to. Relena could only count on Taylor getting to the Nurse or at least alerting one of the faculty.
In the meantime, Relena pulled from her internal battery and threw a pair of light orbs up above her to brighten her surroundings. It was only a matter of time before she would make it to the entrance of the school, but in this kind of weather...well, it didn't seem like the greatest of odds.
"AKI!" She shouted.
Relena doubted that the girl would respond. Then again, she didn't even know the girl. It was likely that the others in chat were already out here searching for her as well, so the chances of finding her would continue to increase. She spread the light orbs out to slowly spin around her body as she threw herself past the gate.
Standing in the road, she looked up and down the way with wide eyed shock plain on her face. She cupped her hands over her mouth as she continued to shout the girl's name, slowly making her way down the road while keeping a look out. Whether she would find a bleeding girl or a fellow student...just anything!
Tears were welling up in her eyes as she looked around frantically. No, no one is dying. Not today. Not ever. God damnit, where are you!?

Theodore had seen far more on the UA chat than he ever could’ve imagined. People talking about the difference between boys and girls, people fighting, talk about relationships- a whole slew of uncomfortable topics that no one would expect from a teacher monitored chatroom. Despite all of these odd surprises, the Brit still never expected to see a student type out their last will- or at least that’s what he pieced together was going on based on how the others in chat were reacting. A student he’d never met before named Aki was gravely injured, and she was talking about which of her things would go to whom when everyone sprung to action. Naturally the first thing the young man did was call the administration and nurse- whoever was available anyways- and let them know that a wounded student was making their way towards campus.
What caught his attention though was Saito’s suggestion that there may be attackers still nearby and that everyone should keep their eyes peeled. The muscle head didn’t know much about first aid, but he could bring some blankets to hopefully warm this student up- and he damn well was prepared to fight for one of his peers. Of course, Theodore was only a fourteen year old boy- even though he had a decent amount of experience with brawling and was working towards becoming a hero one day, the idea of actually facing off against criminal assailants was still terrifying. It took him a few moments to steel himself as he grabbed several blankets and rolled them up into a ball in his arms and charged out into the cold winter weather.
Running out of the boys dormitory as fast as he could, he darted towards the entrance, shouting the student in question’s name: ”Aki? Akiiiiii!” he called out. Although he’d never met the girl, the nice thing about the school’s chat room was that it took the liberty of assigning everyone their real name unless they made an effort to change it, meaning he at least had something to go by as he began his search.
There was certainly fear in the boy’s eyes as he made his way to the entrance of the school and saw a red trail some meters away from the gate. If it hadn’t been for the contrast of the blood against the snow, Theo doubted he’d have noticed the figure lying against one of the trees by the road. ”Aki, is that you?” he shouted, hesitating for a moment before he moved forward. Saito did mention that there might still be attacks out there after all… but now wasn’t the time to be a coward. Taking a deep breath, he hurried over to the figure and knelt beside her, his eyes widening once he saw the nature of her wound- a massive cut from the girl’s right shoulder to her left hip. Due to a lack of medical knowledge and shock, Theo wasn’t sure how deep the wound was exactly and didn’t have the first clue how to treat it- but he could tell this was serious. Gently laying the ball of blankets on the girl’s legs, his hands hovered over her as he was unsure what to do. Her skin was already turning an unnatural shade of blue and she seemed to be asleep. He didn’t want to jostle her for fear of making her injuries any worse. He heard another girl shouting Aki’s name nearby and yelled as loudly as he could so she’d find where they were before leaning in closer to the injured student: ”H-hey, are you okay? Aki, right? Please tell me you’re still with us- Jesus Christ” he said, his voice shaky as he came face to face with what mortality looked like.

--- arisu --- - - - Arisu had been one of the first to pick up on the seriousness of Aki's messages, and the first out the door of the girl's dorms- but it didn't mean she'd be the first to locate Aki. She'd beelined to the front of the school gates as fast as possible, coat barely clinging to her body but without a shred of care for the cold. She'd tried to hunt Aki down on her own, but had started by turning in the wrong direction, and it was only Theo's shouts to help relocate Relena to Aki's spot that saved her from going so far as to be useless to the others.
Arisu came pelting down the street towards the others at a dead sprint, skidding to a stop and nearly falling over as the snow interfered with her attempt to halt her momentum. For a moment, Arisu froze, eyes wide at the sheer damage done to poor Aki's body, before the reaction was smashed into the background by the reflexes she'd been training in class and in her own preparations for the Rescue competition.
"O-okay. Listen," she said, shrugging out of her jacket. "We can't relocate her. We have to wait for the nurse, someone's called for them already, but we need someone who knows where to bring them to go meet them, whoever's fastest. I- I think that's me." She crouched and pulled a blanket out of the balled fabric and folded it long-ways as thick as she could before pushing it against the long laceration, looking over her shoulders at the others. "One of you needs to hold this and the other needs to tie my coat along the blanket. It's a horrible bandage, but she needs -something- or she might not hang on long enough for Saito to come down with his first aid kit. I think it was Saito," she admitted, clearly unsure but trying to work quickly to give her the best chance of surviving until proper first aid, and the nurse, more importantly, arrived.
Whoever took over for her, Arisu bounded back up. "I'll tell the students on the way where to come. They'll help you guys keeps her going until the nurse can get here. Try to lift her feet, but pressure on the blanket to slow the bleeding and as much warmth as you can give her is what she seems to need. Do-" Arisu swallowed hard. "Do your best. I'll bring the nurse as fast as I can."
Relena and Theo could each do as much here as she could- she'd already shared all the useful info she could think of, and first aid would be here shortly to do more for her than any of the three of them could without that help. The most impactful thing Arisu could do was to get the nurse here ASAP. Arisu rushed back onto UA grounds and began to launch herself into the air while she made rapid progress back towards the main buildings, where she thought the nurse was most likely to approach from, intent on getting help back to Aki's precise position as rapidly as she could, hoping her assistance would shave a few minutes of trying to find the wounded girl off the response time.
Surely it wouldn't be long before the first aid promised arrived, anyhow- with any luck, Relena and Theo's efforts, matched with those of any other assistance en route, would keep Aki breathing long enough for more serious medical care to secure her safety.
Arisu prayed it would. TAGS: WORD COUNT: 601 TEMPLATE BY ELIZA @ BOTE & THQ

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse "No need." Was all the nurse had to say when she came around. She had a text message from Junko and she did not live at the dorms but a block away in one of the apartment buildings of Musutafu. Her long mint coloured hair into a messy bun and she seemed to wear something like training trousers, she had been at home, trying a few things but at the point of Junko's text, she had grabbed her bag with first aid and medical care and ran back which would only be like five minutes towards the school. There was no need to shout for Aki as she figured by the sound of it that the students had found her. She absolutely did not look pleased but she did not say anything about that to the three students. It was at least good that someone tried to find her.
Even if she wasn't wearing the thickest sweater she took of her coat and focused on her powers, her eyes instantly turned green as well as her appearance changed into that of her transformation. "Now that you are here, I am going to use you three to make sure Aki will be alright." Well if the hands came than so use it. She did not want to check Aki her wound here in the snow because as she was turning blue, the first thing that Nimue thought about was the hypothermia, she needed to be inside, getting warm bit by bit else this wound would even turn worse. How to move a girl who was covered in one wound completely. The first thing she did, however, was short but firmly check the wound by moving the pieces of fabric aside, but not too long as it would make Aki colder, she had to touch her skin to let her power be able to work on cleaning the wound already. There was no debris for as far as she could see, "Relena, I need light." She said to the girl to make sure and she let her powers work on it, the cut was done in a one go, she assumed, clean, not too deep except at the starting point and the ending point, where the person must have pushed through. Even if it wasn't too deep, she would not be able to heal it just with her powers because Aki must have lost too much blood.
She had a plan but there were a few steps within the plan, "Disukodo-san, please go inside and pick up bottles with warm water, there are bottles in the nurse office, the key is next to the door." She did not look away from Aki as she made sure the clothing didn't stick to the blood on the wound but tried to peel it very lightly away if it did, "Grundlewood-san, I need you to pick up one of the blankets, to block the wind for me, from the top of Aki's head to as far as you can reach. Tsuruya-san I hope you can take as much snow away as you can as soon as you can. I can't move Koyama-san out of the snow like this, so I have to make do." Relena had been at the first aid class but she had not taught her much about puncture wounds like this, but the illuminating light helped.
She took her bag closer to her and found a clean gauze to clean off the wound, she did it as softly and carefully as she could with her right hand, while touching a small bit of Aki's skin with her left to let Nkosi do the work that kept the wound clean from infections and other possible debris.

Sometimes the only pay-off for having any faith Is when it's tested again and again everyday I'm still comparing your past to my future It might be your wound but they're my sutures Checking the school chat today was either a really good, or a really, really bad decision on his part. Although he wasn’t always chatting, he tended to lurk to see what his schoolmates were up to. On a few occasions, he would hop on only to try and stop a building conflict, but for the day, it seemed like no fight was in sight. Aki: Aki want Naoru have bow. Aki really like bow. Best bow. Aki had it always. Aki: evil person who hurt aki know naoru hates yuuei hates aki hates hates hatesHis blood run cold reading the lines. Aki wasn’t exactly used to social cues and technology, but she was getting decidedly better at it. Her boyfriend helped her out with a lot of it before, so Naoru wasn’t surprised to see her chatting. About social cues... although Aki tended to think differently when it came to social interactions, Naoru learned one thing about her. She never appeared to be weak, and never admitted to be weak. She thought of herself as strong. So when she started talking about dying and leaving her belongings to others, he knew something must have happened. It wasn’t a ruse, it wasn’t something insignificant if she felt the need to contact them in such a way. Naoru was out of the dorms just as the rest of the people started discussing where Aki might be, just as she went oddly quiet after texting she was getting back to the school. He was already wearing a set of track pants and a shirt, planning to stay in his room until it was time to sleep, but life had a different plan for him. Without even bothering to change or dress warm enough for the snowy weather, he just pulled on a black jumper and his shoes before his Aura engulfed him, forming into a knee-length coat, covering his arms and torso in seamless white. It wasn’t like Aki to text something like this as a joke. The people in chat barely knew her, but Naoru had been there ever since the start. They were both here since the school opened. He had seen her growing more and more social, gathering people around her with that bubbly, wild, but incredibly kind manner that was just Aki. He couldn’t just sit quietly, waiting to see what would come. The chatroom mentioned that someone was sent for their school nurse, Nimue, to get ready to treat a probably injured student. Naoru wasn’t sure if the person can reach her in time, so on his way, he sent a direct message through the school server to her, notifying that her abilities will be needed. Mentally making a list of all the people who had actual medical knowledge around school, he came up with a few options. Rin, Elise, Haruto, he only knew of those three. Seeing the uproar in the chat, the chances were that those three either saw the messages already, or someone called them to the scene. He will further weight his options when he actually found Aki. On the way, he saw a dark-haired girl he recognized from another class, but didn’t know the name of rush forward. Outside school grounds, he strained his senses to know what direction to go to. It didn’t take long to hear the yells of his schoolmates, and getting closer, he could also hear a much calmer voice ordering around the less put-together of the branch. Arriving at the scene made him stop in his tracks for only a moment. Blood in the snow. Aki in the snow. Blue and cold. His Aura flared, his white coat fluffing up around his shoulders in discomfort, ruffling his feathers at the back of his head. Noticing the blonde girl and a tall boy helping the school nurse out however they could, he rushed forward. Naoru had to weight his options. Crowding around could be bad when the nurse had to focus on healing. But just one glance at the students was enough to know none of them were really equipped with the medical knowledge needed here. Naoru neither, truth to be told. But he had the option and ability to aid a healer in a situation as this one. He crouched down next to Aki’s body, near Nimue, but far enough not to disturb her. By that time, hopefully, Relena would be able to clean some of the snow away, and Theodore would keep the wind off too. Inwardly, he was freaking out by the sight, but outward, only the cool determination of an experienced hero student remained. “Nimue-sensei, can I help? My Aura is sterile, I can hold the wound closed and prevent bleeding even while moving.” To somewhat show what he meant by that, his Aura shifted, keeping the appearance of a coat, but from his shoulder, pristine white threads reached out toward Aki, forming into unrecognizable forms as he manipulated it at will. “I can also cover her to keep her warm.” He just wanted to do something. Anything. There was no point in getting worked up unless he wanted his mind to be distracted. Right now, they had to deal with Aki and help her quick. Anything else can come later. WORD COUNT; TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Perhaps walking all the way back to Yuuei was a bit optimistic afterall. Perhaps this little tree was a fine place to say farewell to the world. Feeling so tired, feeling so cold, the redheaded wildling weighed her options. On one hand it'd really suck not getting to say properly goodbye. On the other, she had already given most of her stuff away to the ones that deserved it. Fighting onwards at this point seemed a little strange. Much before Aki got to think those thoughts to it's natural conclusion, others were upon her. Their voices sounded like they were speaking through hollowed glass. Distant echoes carrying messages she hardly understood. As it became apparent to her, that the voices and individuals were coming to her side, Aki blinked softly. Looking around, there were a lot of people there, yet only one which she felt she remembered. Naoru. Muttering softly, the girl was clearly about as far gone as one could get. Yet, the thoughts at the forefront of her mind, showed exactly what the girl cared for most. The pack. To Aki, everyone at Yuuei was, in one way or another, part of her pack. They fed together, laughed together, played together, hunted together. "...you packleader now, you protect the pack okay?" Shifting herself upwards, or rather, trying to, Aki soon realized that she couldn't. Something was stuck, keeping her from reaching out to Naoru. The deerskin gloved hand found it's way to her own side, graspped at something hidden just underneath her jacket. Then, the girl struggled, pulled. Letting out a soft yelp, gasping in pain, tremors went through her body as she revealed exactly what had been stuck so deep in her flesh. It was a kitchen knife. An ancient kitchen knife, that had been sharpened so many times that the edge seemed almost serrated. The handle and back had several spots of rust, and it was almost obvious that the attacker had just taken whatever weapon they could get their hand on. The metallic clank emanated, as Aki dropped the blade at Naoru's feet. There was something which she had wanted him to know. The deep brown eyes searched for his, to make sure that he was still there. Yet the girl could not see him anymore. There was a white tint to her eyes, almost as if Aki had gone blind. If not for the fact that her body was incredibly cooled, she'd have likely gone into shock. Seeing moving shapes, Aki took her chance, simply speaking out into the forum, hoping that the message would reach. "..pink hair girl.. looking to hurt pack.. no good." Aki felt like there was something more to say, yet it escaped her mind. That meant everything on her checklist was now completed, and she had no reason to continue on. These wounds would kill her, that was that. So, in the most casual way possible, she practically told everyone there, that she intended to die now."...Aki was happy.. now Aki rest in wilds. Is Aki home, where Aki belong... Goodnight pack. Goodnight." Then the tiny wildling closed her eyes once more, returning to comfortably relaxing in the snow. For her condition, she seemed completely calm and quiet. Death was a part of nature, and Aki was aware that it would come for her, sooner or later. There was nothing strange or tragic about it to her. It was just the way things were.

❝You're showing me colours of the sky, But all I see is Grey❞ 557 w. kenjutsu-f | reinforcement-f | radiant dawn-e Relena quickly spun around to hear a male's voice calling out to her and she sprinted as fast as her legs would carry her. Along the way, Arisu had joined her and the blonde was glad to see a familiar face. Together they met up with Theodore who was doing the best he could to comfort the distorted and bloody form of the girl whom Relena assumed was Aki.
She stared at the girl's broken body in wide eyed horror. The orbs of light fluctuated slightly at the sight of the blood. It was just like back when Haruuhi had been kidnapped. All those girls who had lost their lives...and for what? Nothing. It was all some sick, twisted message from a villain. Wasn't UA supposed to be a safe place? Aren't heroes supposed to protect us?
Relena blanked out for...god knows how long. She couldn't move. Couldn't speak. All she knew in the cold night's air was Aki and the blood that fouled her pretty little face. It wasn't until she heard someone call her name that the blonde girl snapped out of her mental battle.
"Nimue-sensei?" She whispered.
When had the teacher arrived? How had- no, that wasn't important. Relena sent her light orb to hover around both Aki's body and near Nimue's hands. She concentrated on keeping the lights at a relatively comfortable level as the nurse began her work. How amazing. She's just amazing. We barely are holding ourselves together and she just appears when she's most needed.
The girl nodded at the teacher's instruction and began to gingerly pick away at the snow that interfered with the operation. There was alot in the way, so she did her best to focus on the task at hand. By this time, another boy had arrived on the scene to help Aki. Relena didn't know him, but he was providing a calm and clear mind as he also assisted in helping the girl.
Relena's thoughts broke when she heard a sound. It was a disgusting sound followed by Aki letting out a gasp of pain. She looked down shakily at a gnarled blade, befouled with fresh blood that utterly stained it's entirety.
"No..." She murmured.
It seemed like Aki was speaking to the boy with the ivory hair, but Relena couldn't be sure. Between the gasping breaths and the heavy weight upon the world around her, she couldn't think straight.
"...Aki was happy.. now Aki rest in wilds. Is Aki home, where Aki belong... Goodnight pack. Goodnight."
Relena's hair fell over her face, covering her widened eyes. Tears streamed down her cheeks, biting at her warm and flustered face. Her teeth grinded painfully, biting down on her tongue with such force that a tiny trickle of blood escaped her mouth. There were no words forming in her mouth. No thoughts in her head. Relena just sat there on her knees, bloodied snow staining her black skirt. Her body shook, though from the cold or her own mental failings...she did not know.
Death was natural, but murder was not. Why? Why would someone do this? Relena didn't even know Aki. The one time she spoke to her was in a fucking chat room and it was seeing her final words. She would never get to know this girl. Never hear her laughter or attempt to understand the way she perceived the world.
"God damnit." She whispered.

After all his shouting, the girl he’d heard earlier came over- as well as another student he didn’t recognize who began giving them some orders. It all sounded fine and dandy, Theodore nodding his head along to her instructions, until an older woman came towards them- swatting all her instructions away with a simple ‘No need’. ”Nurse Nimue?” Theodore asked, ”Oh thank God you got here so quick” he exclaimed, the slightest smile appearing on his face. For a moment, he foolishly believed that everything would be alright now.
The Brit immediately sprung into action upon the nurse’s instruction, holding the blanket as far along the injured girl’s body as he could muster to protect against the wind, Relena following suit with her own instructions. Another boy even entered the scene and offered to help- saying something about a sterile aura. The words confused him, but from what the muscle head could make out, it seemed he was ready and able to lend a hand.
He watched as Aki seemed to come to for a moment, muttering about the newest arrival being the pack leader now before reaching a hand down to her side and pulling out a dilapidated kitchen knife- letting out a yelp as it came free. The blade was rusty and serrated; Theodore didn’t know much about biology or medicine, but he at least knew that neither of those factors could be a good sign. The wounded girl laid the weapon down at the Naoru’s feet before saying something about a ‘pink hair girl’ that was looking to hurt them. It was safe to assume that she was talking about whoever had attacked her- but were they really looking to go after other students too? Would he be in danger? Would Jack or Eli- or even Kurusu for that matter?
Before he was able to spiral too far down with his thoughts and concerns, the girl said what sounded like her last goodbyes before closing her eyes. Theodore wasn’t sure if she was dead or not yet- but the way her figure appeared and how Relena was reacting couldn’t be a good sign. The boy’s hands started to shake, the blanket in turn trembling ever so slightly as he spoke: ”N-Nimue-sensei...she’s not really...it’s going to be….everything’s okay, right?” he asked, wearing an expression of pure terror as he turned to face the nurse.
Theodore took a few deep breaths regardless of the answer, trying his best to keep himself together. The last thing everyone here needed was for him to panic and cause more trouble. Instead, his gaze shifted back to the poor victim against the tree, his thoughts running wild now. He’d never even met this girl, but seeing anyone, especially a fellow student, die right in front of you was horrifying. Now Theodore would never get to talk to Aki- they’d never meet up for a cup of tea, or complain about classes. If her life had truly been extinguished, then this was her existence coming to an end.
His expression turned stoic as the Brit did his utmost not to panic or cause a scene among the nurse and other students, but his body was still trembling. Why the hell was this happening? Who the fuck was this pink haired girl? Would Aki still be alive if he’d found her just a little bit sooner- if he hadn’t hesitated in his room or at the gate? This wasn’t a situation that could be resolved with a witty quip or a piece of wisdom from his father- there was nothing Theodore could do for this poor girl.

--- arisu --- - - - Arisu was halted before she could bolt off to try to locate Nimue by the woman's arrival on her own. She whipped around, startled, relaxing only once her fight-or-flight processed that Nimue was the help they'd been waiting for. It was relieving, but short-lived- she needed their help. Aki wasn't out of the metaphorical woods just yet.
"Water- okay. Okay. I'll- okay! I can get that!" Narou was arriving as well and it sounded like he might have just the tools they needed to help combat the apparent joint threat of exsanguination and hypothermia, and she wasn't going to waste time. She was, silently, glad she'd shed her coat already- she could wash the blood off it later, if she needed to, but to go as fast as she intended to, she'd need more of her arms exposed than just her hands, and the light tanktop she'd had on under the jacket, for all it did almost nothing to keep her warm, wasn't going to be damaged when she ran full blast.
Arisu took off like a rocket, black flames hurling her forward at speeds that professional sprinters would envy. She wasn't going to win any olympic medals, but hopefully the speeds she reached would be enough to get her to the nurse's office and back with the warm, sterile water in plenty of time.
She missed Aki pulling the ragged weapon from her chest.
She missed Aki murmuring a few words before seeming to pass out or fall asleep, leaving two of the students convinced she'd died.
All she saw when, a few minutes later, she rocketed back through the snow on pillars of black flame was the two that'd made it before her looking absolutely defeated and Aki's eyes closed. But- surely not. As pessimistic as Arisu was about the future, it wasn't a practical pessimism- nothing was over until it was over and she refused to believe Aki was over so soon. She didn't let off the gas until she was skidding and stumbling up to the group, water bottles crammed into track pant pockets and trapped against her belly to stay warm between her tanktop and the waist of her pants. "I- I have water, Nakahara-s-sensei!" She fought like a beast to keep her own encroaching despair out of her voice. That sort of thing was infectious and she'd be damned before her own negativity brought anyone else down. She filled her arms with the body-warm water bottles and dropped to her knees in the snow and slush. "Wh- what can I do?? Tell me how to help? Do you need me to go get anything else? Anyone else??"
Please don't tell me it's over.
Please don't tell me Aki's over. TAGS: WORD COUNT: 465 TEMPLATE BY ELIZA @ BOTE & THQ

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse Nkosi was in alarm, trying to find something that wasn't visible and she turned to look up shortly to find Naoru-kun sitting close to her, she was surprised to see him here, considering their short meeting before but she did not falter to do what she must do. The light from Relena was a start but her spirit telling her something was wrong. Aki herself moved, talked and while she wanted to shush her to make sure she kept her energy, while the nurse kept cleaning the awful big wound. She looked at the knife that the girl pulled out her side and she quickly checked that, much deeper than the front one and she was not even convinced if that was the only one. Her green eyes turned bigger, the rust on the blade, which she quickly noticed was no problem, there were bigger problems.
Her neutral expression face turned into a sore look, her lips stretched into a thin line as her left hand immediately grabbed for Aki her wrist to feel a pulse, which only made her frown more. "Tsuruya-san, I need you to concentrate. I need you to call an ambulance now and walk with me while you call them, I need them to specifically bring me an amount of the right blood." What was Aki's blood, she had read it before while nosing through the files the school system had, all she had to do was remember. Now that Nkosi had the time to fix the possible infections that were upcoming in the wounds of Aki, she could let go and stop cleaning, holding on to her pulse. "Grundlewood-san, I need you to stay calm, without help we can't get far. Stay still because you are protecting her from the wind." She did not blame the children, but she hoped they also did not blame her for her tone of voice or for the instructions. Before she could look at Naoru, Arisu was back, and she quickly instructed the girl to give her the bottles and place them at the right spots next to Aki, the temperature of them was not too warm, which was perfect because it would just make Aki warm and not heat up the process, which would be bad with hypothermia. She turned to Naoru and spoke quickly, "The wounds are clear, please use your quirk, we have to move her inside, could you carefully wrap the bottles in there as well." She took off her coat to wrap the bottles for one side in there so that the bottles stayed warm but did not directly touch Aki her skin, she did the same with two other bottles on the other side of her torso with the coat that was there, which must have been Arisu's. "I need you to carry her to the infirmary and I need you to walk carefully as I walk by your side. Naoru-kun, she is going into shock, I need you to keep her torso as horizontal as possible, while I hold on to her legs and hold them slightly higher." Because the blood needed to go back to where it was more necessary.
"Grundlewood-san, I need you to keep protecting us from the wind, as good as you can, don't worry too much right now." She looked at Naoru, to make sure he was okay, she had no idea what the information was that Aki just had given him but she was sure that it might be of importance or at least form an impact. Finally, she remembered the blood group and told Relena to order that, at least bring two litres, they had some here as well which she needed immediately. She should focus, Nkosi could not stay too much longer with her and that was okay, as she knew this as well but the spirit made her hands steadier. She was not going to lose this student! Her eyes shifted shortly to Arisu now Naoru was probably working with his quirk and would lift up Aki soon. "Open all the doors before us. If you see anyone else before we reach you, send them back to their dorms, if it's a teacher tell them we are coming. We will be slow as we need to keep Aki as steady as possible." She had no stretcher or anything to keep Aki flat but at this point that would be of no use as she was sure that being in Naoru's arms would be better especially if she helped, there was no time to get it and wait for it. "Did you get that Disukodo-san?" As soon as Naoru and Nimue would lift Aki, she would have to sprint off to the first door.

Sometimes the only pay-off for having any faith Is when it's tested again and again everyday I'm still comparing your past to my future It might be your wound but they're my sutures He was vaguely aware of the others moving around them, but Naoru had to pay attention to Aki as soon as he heard her gasp. “Aki-san, stay with us.” He called her gently but firm, leaning closer to hear what she wanted to say. He stared and stared when he was promoted to packleader. The other could not understand the importance of that sentence coming from her. She was always a leader, hard to control, going after her own will. She considered herself the alfa of her pack, and by giving that role away so willingly, Naoru knew she felt her time was up. What more, giving it to him just froze his blood more than he thought it should. As she shifted, Naoru reached out to trace her shoulder with his fingers. “Do not move around, please.” He could hear Nimue-sensei’s orders and that the students were following them, everyone working together to help out in a desperate time. He sucked in a breath as he caught a glance of the kitchen knife held out by Aki to be seen by everyone. But hearing her words hurt more than seeing the old weapon so tainted by her blood. A form flashed before him; pink hair, a mask with a makeshift smiling face made of colorful neon light, and a little girl beaten to death. The soft sound Aki made was enough to pull him back and look down at her yet again. He was connecting the dots of a sick destiny that he thought never existed, and he had to curse whatever sick god thought it was funny to tear old wounds open. He cursed the person who dared to hurt one of his--- Let me out.The others were still there; Relena cleaning the snow and then falling to her knees in sudden despair, Theodore standing tall to shield Aki from the wind and still desperately hoping she will be alright, Arisu rushing back and forth between snowy hell and infirmary to help and try her best to be useful, Nimue-sensei keeping everyone grounded and distracted by giving out orders they need to complete and prevent panic the most professional way possible. Naoru watched Nimue as she gave him orders this time, and he started his work right away. The Aura covering him grew in size, but while the part that covered him remained in the form of the coat, it reached out and slowly flooded onto Aki’s body, leaving behind the expression of soft feathers and pearly mist, making it harder and harder to determine what it exactly looked like. He started from her upper body, Aura seeping under her clothes, feeling out the wound and pulling it closed centimeter by centimeter as it traveled further down. He could feel it all. He could feel the edges of Aki’s wounds, the torn flesh and the damaged veins, the blood trying to rush out, every little detail down to the last molecule. He could feel it all, and it took his will and concentration not to shudder from it. His Aura covered up her torso in a white coat, so unlike the one he wore, holding her wounds closed and the wrapped water bottles snug to her body. He pulled all of the distracting feelings and locked them far away to the back of his mind like he always did. His face remained determined and empty, only focusing on the task at hand, refusing to deal with anything else other than Aki. Another little thread of Aura reached out and pooled around the knife, taking it and pulling it into his white coat for later. It was evidence. It might have fingerprint on it. It might help in figuring out who hurt Aki. He will keep it, for the time being. “Yes, Nimue-sensei.” He said, only looking at the injured, unnaturally still wildling as he gathered her body against his chest. If they needed to keep her horizontal, he had to carry her bridal style, which will prove to be complicated. Naoru was physically capable, yes, but he was still only an average teenager. However, adrenaline and determination was a factor that his Aura reacted to without even so much as a second thought. Pulling Aki against his body, his Aura helped out in keeping her steady and upright. One arm held her shoulders, another under her thigh as he stood up with her safe against his chest. “She will be okay.” Surrounded by the ethereal Aura, he said those words with a kind of conviction that the three students might find odd. But he knew Nimue-sensei will do everything in her power to help her, and this kind of trust was needed right now. If she was here to give them the distraction, Naoru was here to make sure they won’t lose hope. He made a mental note to reassure them once everything calmed down. As instructed, he would walk slowly, and give enough room for Nimue to hold Aki’s legs up, and Theodore to follow them around with the blanket. He couldn’t rush, not to give further stress on Aki’s body. Help was on the way already. Nimue-sensei had, and will do everything she could to make sure she survives until an ambulance arrives. Focus on keeping the wound closed. Focus on keeping her body steady and warm. Focus on making sure you do not add to the panic of the others. He was tasked to keep everyone safe, but he would do that without even being asked. MADE BY VEL OF GS

WORD COUNT; TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Aki's body had been in a slow shutdown sequence. First the lights were shut off, making the girl essentially faint. At this point, Aki was no longer simply sleeping, she was out cold in the snow, and waking her up was no longer possible. From there, the next thing that had begun to slow and shut down, was her pulse and breathing. The excessive bleeding and the sheer damage to her body, combined with the cold, being enough to make her body essentially throw in the towel. The girl was, however, a young being. Thus, her body was more fit to deal with the physical trauma. As soon as the warm water bottles were placed around her, the wildling's body grasped at the chance of survival. Breath steadying, her pulse also steadied, rather than continuing to decline. It seemed that the girl's relaxed state of mind had transferred to her body, giving the nurse precious moments to work with. The tiny redhead was still in deep trouble, but the initial first aid was at least giving her a chance at life. Even then, if the girl would've perished in these moments, it would've been surrounded by friends, warm embraces and caring hearts.
[Aki is knocked out, yet stabilizing. Feel free to skip her. I'll keep track if there's anything I need to reply to!]

❝You're showing me colours of the sky, But all I see is Grey❞ 527 w. kenjutsu-f | reinforcement-f | radiant dawn-e Relena was shaking. She couldn't help it. Aki had gone cold and still...what else was she to think? What was she supposed to do? Looking up at everyone around her, she immediately felt a single emotion aside from dread: shame. Her fellow UA were all working together to save Aki and here she was...already defeated. What kind of hero was she if she threw in the towel already?
Nimue-sensei called her name and Relena's eyes immediately sharpened. She listened to her teacher's instructions with gusto, nodding emphatically to what was being said. As everyone went about their respective tasks, Relena had climbed back to her feet and pulled out her phone. She dialed the emergency services number and, within a mere few seconds, an operator had picked up. Her voice was neutral, as to be expected.
"What is the nature of your emergency?"
Relena kept pace with both Naoru and Nimue as they carried Aki in the direction of the infirmary. She smiled at how tenacious Theodore was in this situation, never giving up hope as Relena. Meanwhile, Arisu was showing real leadership qualities with how strong her conviction was. It was because of her and Theodore that Relena even found Aki in the first place.
As she kept her lights swirling around Naoru and Nimue, making sure that the warm iridescence didn't interfere with them, Relena spoke clearly and with confidence into her phone's receiver.
"Hello, my name is Relena Tsuruya. I am a student at UA Highschool and a student has been mortally stabbed. Upon request from Nimue Nakahara, the lead doctor of the institute, we need an ambulance to arrive immmediately at the school. The student in question has lost a large amount of blood and needs-"
Relena paused, covering the receiver of her phone long enough to listen to what type of blood that Aki needed from Nimue-sensei. She nodded and took her hand away, relaying the specific info to the operator.
"We are going to need two liters. Do you understand?"
The operator immediately responded. "The hero school. Yes, two liters. Understood. I am dispatching an ambulance immediately to your location."
Relena nodded to herself. "Alright. I'll be at the front entrance to guide them to Nurse Nakahara. Thank you."
She clicked the end button and put her phone away in the pocket of her stained skirt. Relena turned to regard Nimue with a thumbs up. "I'm going to head back to the main entrance! I'll make sure that the paramedics get that blood to you as soon as possible."
Relena tapped Naoru on the arm very gently, as not to disturb his concentration on Aki. "Good luck to you."
With that, Relena spun around on her heel and sprinted in the opposite direction of the group to race back toward the entrance. If an ambulance had been dispatched, it would only be a few minutes before help would arrive. She would make sure to be there to guide them to the infirmary as quickly as possible.
Please, Nimue-sensei. Please save Aki-san. I don't know why, but I just feel like nothing else matters if she...dies. I know you can do it, though. I have faith in all of you. I have faith in me.

Something about the relatively calm yet stern demeanor of Nimue-sensei kept Theodore grounded enough to keep the blanket over Aki, despite his nervous trembling. She soon told Relena to get a hold of an ambulance, instructing everyone around her with a sense of authority that made it hard to disagree- not like any of them would have to begin with. Soon enough she was speaking to him, saying that he needed to calm down and hold the blanket steady to continue protecting the injured girl from the wind.
Relaxing in a situation like this was a lot easier said than done, but if Aki was still hanging in there, then Theodore refused to let her die or have her injuries worsen because of his own inadequacies. ”Understood, sensei.” Taking a few ragged, deep breaths, he steadied his hands, continuing to hold the blanket over the wounded student. The trembling had subsided for now as he focused every ounce of his concentration and resolve into doing this simple task the best he could, trying to push fear and worry out of his heart and down into the pit of his stomach until they were through the worst of it. Nimue, Naoru, and Arisu all started carefully helping Aki up out of the snow and began moving towards the infirmary while Relena called for help. To be honest, Theodore admired how she managed to talk on the phone clear and concisely at a time like this- despite her own grief and distress over the situation. Seeing her steel her will inspired the Brit to do the same, taking another deep breath as he continued to hold the blanket steady without faltering.
The nurse insisted that he kept protecting them from the wind and try not to worry about Aki’s fate for the time being, though Naoru’s words soon after sent a wave of relief through his body. Theo wasn’t sure what the boy’s quirk was exactly or how he could be so sure, but his simple statement that she would be okay was enough to push him onwards, his resolve firm as he kept them protected from the harsh winter wind
Relena would finish her call and let the group now that she planned to wait near the entrance so she could direct the ambulance when they arrived. Although she was talking to Nimue-sensei more than him, the muscle head still nodded his head affirmatively in response as they prepared to enter inside, Arisu hopefully able to get the door for them.
