Post by Farrah di Prima on Feb 12, 2019 2:10:22 GMT -4
With their snack finished and Angel's work finished up, Farrah and her family, along with Angel and a few newcomers, headed down the Sports Fair alley in search of a fair activity that the whole crew could enjoy. While Sara and Diana di Prima were happy to take that goal at face value, Farrah and her mother each had ulterior motives. For Julie, the goal was to speak to the adults in Angel's life and try to set straight the issue wherein their daughters had managed to end up in a light-speed relationship, complete with physical affection that looked like it could boil over into a situation she wasn't sure she wanted her daughter getting into at any time. She'd been through a rough divorce and figured she knew better than anyone the danger of entering a relationship on a moment's passion.
Farrah, on the other hand, had the opposite objective; she wasn't so naive that she couldn't sense the reason for Julie's knit brown and constant observation of her and Angel. She knew that her mother tried to be patient with her and that her patience was sometimes... tested, but she also felt her own strong convictions of what was right, what was best for her, and often at the forefront, what she wanted. She hated to end up haggling with Angel and her family watching, but she thought that might be what it'd come to. "Surely once my mama sees what Angel's love means to me she'll accept with all due grace, to keep the smile upon my face!" she reassured herself. "Angel isn't just any random person! Without her, my life would worsen! Even in a long-term view, there's no need to twist or skew! It is only right that we be together! True love is always now or never!"
After all, the ancient artists and poets had all taken a lot of inspiration from the visits of angels and cherubs. Why shouldn't she desire to keep one near herself as well?
"The inventions, Farrah! I wanna see em. I'm gonna show Diana the frisbee," Sara insisted, pointing towards the technology booths. Many of Farrah's Support Studies brethren were in this area, showing off practical wares and new inventions alike. Farrah would love to rub elbows with them, but she and Julie both had their goals. Farrah urged her sisters along to look at whatever they liked, while she herself lingered at a set of park-benches near the front of the alley. She cleared her throat, thinking up the perfect rhyme to get started addressing her issues, when Julie intercepted her. It was much easier for her to begin, seeing as she didn't have to think up any rhymes.
"I don't believe I've introduced myself yet, ladies. My name is Julianne; you can call me Julie. I don't believe I've heard your names yet, though?" she asked, beginning as cordially as possible. Simple introductions would probably be the easiest way to get started. Besides, Farrah looked like words were about to start spilling out of her mouth... she would much rather formulate her own observations on Angel and her family, who did not seem to share her hidden worried looks about Angel and Farrah's arrangement.

| I t truly did Asui Surami's heart good to see her trauma hardened daughter being able to hold the hand of someone she truly cared for and seem to love and even be able to walk with her beautiful pink wings being displayed for all to see. It was clear to the young mother though as Angel and Farrah walked hand in hand that the young poet's own mom wasn't completely on board after seeing her expression to their daughter's kiss earlier that morning. If both Asui and Blossom were honest with themselves they weren't truly ready for the physicality of the relationship and passion that the kids seemed to want, but in terms of the relationship itself both pink haired women were on board. As one of the younger Prima girls told her older sister she wanted to look at the weapons before running off Asui whistled and pointed to the pink Parasol hooked to her daughter's waist. "If you like weapons you should ask Angel to show you her Triple P as she calls it. It's a 3 in 1 weapon she designed herself and had your sister's department make for her."Asui then looked over at her daughter who was just standing with Farrah with her head gently rested on her shoulder causing the mother and her aunt who was sketching the different gadgets that floated about to smile. That was until Farrah's mother named now as Julie walked up to the both of them and asked their names. Asui bowed respectfully while her sister in much the fashion of Angel herself waved excitedly at the fellow adult. "It is our pleasure Julia. My name is Asui and this is my sister and Angel's aunt Blossom. I can tell by your expression toward our daughter's affections that you have some concerns. Maybe it will put your mind a bit at ease to hear that we too have a couple of concerns. We personally are on board with them being a couple, but my sister and I agree that they at least physically are moving a bit fast."Once Asui gave Blossom a gentle nod, the artist stepped up and nodded, but then pointed specifically at the steel collar and broken chain around Angel's neck that her horrid father had put there as a sign of enslavement. She then looked back toward Julie with a soft smile. "I'm not using this as a reason to excuse my niece's actions, but rather better explain them. Do you see that metal collar and broken chain around her neck? That's not for show Ma'am. You see my sister and my niece used to be the slaves and captives of an evil anti-quirk fanatic named Sota Surami. Once he found out that his wife had given birth to a quirk having daughter who was a mutants of all things he began to abuse and torture them and keep them as no more then slaves. Angel was kept captive except for school and for when my sister sneaked them out for training.."Asui upon hearing the story being told began to rub her arms uncomfortably before holding up her hand to her sister as a silent sign to let her finish the story. "Late last year, my ex husband attempted to murder me and cut my dear Angel's wings off,but my daughter broke her chain and helped us escape. I guess what we're saying is the notions of freedom, free will, choice and love are still new to Angel and while that doesn't excuse her actions of physically rushing into an intimate relationship I hope it does at least to some extent explain why. I do believe that Angel's feelings for your daughter are genuine. Angel doesn't has had to fight to be where she is now and is extremely loyal to those she cares for. I'm sure that if we made our worries known both of our daughters are reasonable enough to not take them lightly."As the adults had their conversation, Angel just softly rested her head on Farrah's shoulder seemingly staring off into space as she thought about her encounter with her friend Arisu earlier that morning and how her friend told her that if she truly trusted and loved Farrah, then she needed to let her in on her biggest secret. To that end Angel quickly and suddenly spun to stand in front of Farrah nervously gazing into her eyes. "Farrah my beautiful song bird,When we met you quite literally trusted me with your life. To show you that I truly do care about and trust you and that i'm in this for the long hall I'm essentially going to do the same right now by letting you in on my biggest secret and my biggest source of shame. I just..I hope that once I do you won't be repulsed by me."Angel then let go of Farrah's hand and took a step back before reaching up to her hearing aids with both hands and slowly and nervously removing them. She then used them to brush her long hair that covered the round jagged holes that were where her ears and ear drums were supposed to be away so that Farrah and if she was paying attention her mom could see in full view. Once a few moments passed she returned her hearing aids to their proper places with pure panic on her face as she looked into her song bird's sunglasses. "See..my wings came at a cost. I was born with a birth defect where my ears and ear drums never formed and grew and so without my hearing aids I am completely deaf and I have been my entire life. I was afraid to tell you not because I don't trust you,but because I was afraid that you would think me ugly and deformed. I also was ashamed because your whole thing is poetry and music and I..was afraid to tell you that if your girlfriend was deaf and that your quirk if strong enough could seriously hurt me that you'd like me less. I'm sorry Farrah..I hope you can forgive me for keeping this a secret from you for so long."Blossom seeing Angel remove her hearing aids in front of Farrah audibly gasped and covered her mouth with her sketch pad before nudging her sister causing her to catch the act before it was over causing her to cross her arms and smile. "If you doubt my daughter's seriousness and loyalty in the relationship watch the scene in front of us. Angel just revealed her biggest secret, the fact that she was born without ears and is deaf without her hearing aids to your daughter who if I recall speaks only in rhyme and poetry. I say we see how the scene unfolds." |

"A weapon called Triple P? That sounds fancy! Why don't you have a weapon, Farrah?" the sister asked, pressing one finger to her lip with a thoughtful frown.
"Ho ho, observant child! There's an idea that's truly wild! But sadly I am not a warrior, you know? One who would swing a sword or fire a bow! Think of me as the gentle bard, whose song spurs the others forward~" the elder sister sang back cheerfully, sounding perhaps a little confused about how her role as a hero was likely to play out over time. "Now run along, we will see Triple P soon! But there is plenty else to see that will make us swoon!"
The truth is, she nor Julie really wanted the younger kids hanging around as the aired out the debate that was building in their heads. Farrah was usually talkative, but especially with Angel right there, literally being supported by her, it was hard to address the elephant in the room. Julie took the lead, or so it seemed, but the other ladies were much more direct to her mother's concern.
If Julie was relieved by their direct address of her concerns, her face didn't show it; her smile remained but her eyes still looked stormy. "I appreciate that you've gone straight to the point. My daughter tends to act very impulsively... I'm sure your daughter is a wonderful person, but you must know that Farrah is-"
"Excuse me, mother, but let's listen all the way! There are many important factors left to say," the daughter piped up, then eagerly nodded at Angel's guardians.
Julie did listen, lowering her eyes with the requisite "I'm so sorry," as the family recounted their and Angel's hardships under the ex-husband, who sounded quite a few shades worse even than the one she had. "It sounds like a tremendous hardship. If Farrah is helping Angel recover, that can only be perceived as good, of course," she nodded; Farrah's face brightened at her mother's concession. Julie watched the two daughters sympathetically, having more to say, but she figured she had better wait until Angel finished her explanation.
Farrah watched with interest, but her expression at the end was perhaps not what anyone expected; her eyebrows remained piqued, while the smile remained on her face. "My friend, I think we can look at this another way! How blessed that you can still hear what I say! In this age, we are truly blessed, that technology helps you weather this test. I wouldn't love you less even if I had to talk to myself! But with those hearing aids we can all share the wealth! Of song and poetry; so what is to mourn? For something like that, I would not shun or scorn!" she encouraged Angel, placing her hands upon her girlfriend's shoulders.
All of this was fine with Julie, who gave a more genuine smile now. It was brave of Angel to share that with Farrah, and her daughter, while perhaps a little tonedeaf as to why the condition had been such a problem for Angel, at the very least could be counted on to accept it unconditionally. "No, of course not. I don't doubt Angel's seriousness in the least," Julie reassured the others. Farrah returned a large smile, but her face fell a bit as her mother continued.
The conflicted look on the mother's face made it seem as though she was struggling with whether or not to reveal a secret of her own, one that Farrah was either not forthcoming with or else unaware of. "Again... I trust Angel's feelings are genuine. What you have to understand is that my daughter is... what she has could not properly be called Attention Deficit Disorder, but it is something similar. She is perfectly aware and capable but- and we are still working on treating this- she has a very, very hard time remaining focused. And shouldering responsibility. Even maintaining her own studies is difficult for her, not just her personal relationships."
She gestured to Angel again. "It is very good for your daughter to have friends, and for Farrah, but as much as I hate to say it, if you are looking for Farrah to heal your daughter, or to protect her, or to be someone that can be depended on... that's a work in progress, in my opinion," she finished. An example to fit her concern was on the tip of her tongue, but it was too cruel to voice.
"Mama, I get you, I really do! But what you have stated just isn't true! In Angel I have found a special friend, one on whom I can certainly co-depend! If I must change in order to help, then I gladly reinvent myself!" she announced, pressing one hand to her chest dramatically.
"Farrah, do you remember your cat, back in America? We had to leave him with relatives when we came here," Julie asked, lowering her eyebrows. "That cat was yours to take care of. But as I recall, your little sisters were the ones who ended up feeding it. I was the one who ended up cleaning up after it. You were happy to play with Joe, but when the time came to care for him, you were too distracted. Now obviously, Angel is not a pet. You have never had a serious relationship before, so I have no frame of reference. But Angel needs someone who will support her... can I trust you to do that, when you won't even study like you need to or feed Joe properly?" the mother pressed, looking increasingly cross with her daughter.
"Yes! I'm a hero now; you shouldn't fret! You'll see me surpass limits I haven't yet! I can learn to study and take care of my gal too! There is so much more I'm planning to do!" Farrah nodded along eagerly, clenching her fists at her chest.
"And do you think you can study and perform to your teacher's expectations while you make time for Angel?" Julie asked seriously. "Not to overstep my bounds, but do you three feel certain that Angel can also focus, given this one's tendency to drag those that should be studying into impromptu poetry slams? If we all agree that we are going to try our hardest to keep things balanced, then I suppose I'll concede and let them try to give it a shot. But I want you to be fully aware how difficult it may turn out to be. My daughter is... flighty. For now."
"I can promise you I will! I'm flighty no more! The only flight I'm interested in now is what Angel has in store!" Farrah proclaimed, raising her palms upward. She paused, then knelt on one knee, holding up one hand theatrically for Angel to accept. "Now I ask, on bended knee, if you are willing to be put to the test with me?" the daughter asked, as her mother wondered to herself whether it would kill Farrah to take this more seriously and stop rhyming and stage-acting for a moment.

| A s Farrah in her own unique way told Angel that she accepted her the way she was and that she didn't love her any less Angel felt happy tears swell up in her eyes and then begin to stream down her cheek as she smiled from ear to ear. It felt as if every single amount of weight left her heart all at once and it felt amazing! The young woman being unable to speak through her happy tears just through her arms around Farrah and hugged her as tightly as she could while pressing her face into her song bird's shoulder. This was the proof that Angel needed that she had found the one. Once a few moments passed Angel let Farrah go and wiped her eyes with a happy chuckle. "Just to be safe I think we better teach you some sign language! That way I can introduce you to my room mate Chi. She's deaf too. I think that's why the faculty paired us up. We could have girls nights in."As Angel kissed Farrah's forehead Angel finally turned her attention toward her song bird's mom as she began to talk about Farrah's short comings and quickly without a word to Farrah used her wings to propel herself over to the adults just as her own mom and aunt were about to speak. To cut them off Angel just stretched out her wings to cover their mouths which luckily they took as a sign that Angel was in serious mode as she rested her wings back flat against her back. She then looked toward Farrah's mom and gave her a gentle smile. "With all due respect Ms.Prima I would like to speak my own case for a moment. I understand you worry about Farrah and I understand she has a few short comings. I've noticed a couple of them myself. She has a hard time keeping focused on things for long periods, she could be better with money and the whole Rhyming thing can get a bit confusing sometimes, but there is something that you and my family aren't seeing. Every student here has short comings they need to overcome. That's why we're here!"Angel for just a moment looked back at Farrah giving her a loving and confident nod before turning attention back toward Ms.Prima and crossing her arms with a small smirk and a serious gaze. "I don't claim to be perfect. I can get over emotional,my trauma can cloud my judgement, I like fighting a bit more then i probably should and my own stubborn habits are a bit lacking. There is one other thing I can tell you though Ms.Prima. Farrah and I aren't trying to FIX each other by being together. We are supporting one another and helping one another rise above her short comings. We help each other be better. I keep her focused, she calms my fractured soul and together we make each other not only better heroes, but better more adjusted people. Forgive me if this is overstepping my bounds, but if you and my family truly want to help us then don't take away the one person aside from our families that truly love, support and understand us. I can tell you right now that I will stop at nothing to not only be with her,but make sure we become the world's number 1 pair of heroes."As Farrah walked up and spoke to her mother about an old pet cat and begin to question her about if she could truly study and focus with Angel around to distract her as well as the other way around. This caused Angel to get a small glare in her eyes toward Farrah's mother for just a few moments before Farrah began to defend herself and her mother concede. What Farrah did next caused Angel to gasp as Farrah got down on one knee all dramatically and asked her if she would face this challenge with her. Angel just smiled down at her and lifted her to her feet and kissed her softly on the lips. "This test and every other that this harsh world has to throw at us. The world and it's bad guys better look out because the unbreakable team of The Angel of mercy and the Pop Poet are here to take them on!"Angel just looked back at her family to see them smiling proudly before looking passed Farrah toward her sisters with a smile while stepping back from Farrah and holding out her weapon. "Now what's this I hear about you guys wanting to see my weapon?" |

"Aha! Of course! That's probably true! If she is also deaf, she can relate to you!" Angel nodded, thinking that made perfect sense. Julie wondered to herself if it really made sense for the school to pair two deaf students together instead of putting one that can hear in the room so that they could react accordingly, but she kept that thought to herself. It had probably actually only been a bizarre turn of circumstance that had made the pair.
To Julie's surprise, it turned out Angel was already pretty cognizant of Farrah's shortcomings, as far as academics went, anyway. Moreover, it was clear that her daughter had met someone just as prone to experience passion and love easily as she was, for better or worse. She didn't think she would be able to talk sense into Farrah; it'd be even harder if she had to tall to Angel too... but then again, it was pretty impressive to find someone who could match Farrah's tempo. She had surely seen people tire of Farrah's antics and avoid her enough throughout her life, so the opposite was a welcome change, if perhaps a swing of the pendelum too far in the opposite direction.
The mother tried to match Angel's smile and erase the concerns she had voiced earlier, nodding slightly in a gesture of approval. She was getting the strong sense that stepping between the two would be a wicked thing to do, on par with that of some storybook villain, and perhaps every bit as misguided as the schemes of villains from those stories. Part of her still wondered if Angel realized what she was in for... but it Angel wanted to face that madness, Julie might as well allow the girl to take a shot.
As the girls were called back over, the younger one was repeating the word "roomba" over and over again, liking the way it sounded. "Yeah! I wanna see Triple P. I was telling Farrah earlier she should get somebody to make her a sword! But now I want her to have a roomba instead," Sara piped up, trying to put the idea of a battle roomba into her sister's head.
"Why doesn't Farrah get a gun? Aren't guns the best weapons?" Diana asked pragmatically.
"N-Now Diana, while a gun is perfectly practical, a hero who shoots people is a little fanatical! Weapons like Angel's Triple P are much better for heroes, probably! Angel, please tell us! I'm excited, hella! To learn what's up with that groovy umbrella!" Farrah changed the subject, preferring not to have to think about carrying a weapon for her hero work and instead just focusing on Angel's.

| I t seemed as a couple Angel and Farrah had won their first difficult battle in the form of getting Farrah's mom to accept them as an item! Now that the battle was won Angel turned her attention to both of Farrah's sisters one of which seeming to have a new fascination with the little floor cleaning robots known as roombas. To this Angel raised an eyebrow as she twirled her parasol in her left hand a bit more until Farrah's two sisters were standing in front of her. As little Sara said she wanted to see the Triple P and then that she wanted her older sister to have roomba instead. This just made Angel giggle a bit before gently booping little Sara's nose. "I'll make sure to get my song bird a roomba for her birthday or Christmas."As Diana asked why her sister didn't have a gun and if guns were the best weapons Angel quickly shook her head before flipping the first switch on her parasol causing the dome to open as she elegently rested it on her left shoulder as her sister tried to explain to her young sibling that guns for the most part were something that the bad guys used. Angel then nodded as Farrah also asked to see her girlfriend's weapon. Angel just held the parasol out horizontally so that all three Prima siblings could get profile view of it while open before turning it so she saw the top of the dome. "Your sister is right little ones! The best kind of weapons or "Support items" as we call them here at U.A. aren't just for fighting, but also help enhance a person's quirk or natural abilities. Let me give you a couple examples! We'll start with this beauty right here! I call it the Triple P because it stands for Pretty Powerful Parasol! It also has three functions which are activated by three small switches on the handle. The first opens the dome which is actually made of specualized spider like silk capable of withstanding 100 kg of force and electricity, fire, wind and other elemental type quirks."Angel then flipped the first switch once more to close the dome before balancing the parasol on the index and middle finger of her left hand with ease which made her smile. She then lurched her hand upward shooting the parasol up into the air and then back down into Angel's left hand where she then stepped back and flipped the second switch causing the tip of the hidden rapier blade within the casing to pop out of the tip of the parasol. "Going back to what I saying about our support items bettering our quirks and abilities, the second and third functions of the Triple P just that for you see hidden within the parasol casing is a rapier style blade that lets me make use of my sword fighting skills, natural balance and enhanced strength and speed. You see young ones my wings don't just let me fire projectiles and fly,but also act as counter weights and a balancing agent so that I am like a living gyroscope. I make use of this by using the second setting to have the tip of the hidden rapier pop out of the end of my parasol for precision strikes or quick stabs and slashes."Angel then flexed her wings and with a mighty jumped and a flex of her wings did a back flip over her aunt and mom onto one of the nearby large direction posts and landed on the tip top of it balancing on it using one foot with both of her wings stretched out to keep her balanced. As she was demonstrating this she flipped the second switch once more to close the tip of her parasol before jumping and flipping back over to land in front of the two young girls before resting her wings flat against her back. She then held her parasol so that it's tip was facing the ground before flipping the 3rd switch which disconnected the handle from the closed dome which she slowly pulled out with her left hand as she held the dome in her right. "The third and final switch allows me to disconnect the base from the dome if I am facing another foe with a blade like weapon or quirk. Though since this is the most dangerous function I choose to save it as a last result. As upcoming heroes we must remember that it isn't our job to be judges or executioners, but only peace keepers and support for the authorities if they need it."Not wanting to outshine Farrah in front of her own siblings Angel reconnected the handle of her parasol to it's closed dome and then turned to motion to Farrah herself with a big grin and a stolen kiss on the cheek. "If you think my weapon is cool and well made you should give a majority of the credit to your wicked cool, stylish and beautiful sister. She along with the rest of the Support studies class may not take as many combat centric classes as Classes 1-A,B and C,but they make sure that we are well equipped and prepared for our fights by working with the government to design and or build not only our hero costumes, but also our weapons. Farrah's class actually made the prototype's for my suit and my weapon before sending them off to get made into the finish product. Think of them as the stage hands or managers for plays and the other classes their actors."Angel then gave Farrah a loving wink before gently poking her own throat. "As for a support item that Farrah could use to help her in battle i have been giving that some thought. Your sister's quirk allows her to create physical speech bubbles from her vocal chords which once detonated have the capability to cause massive damage with their intensity. I was thinking of a collar type item worn around her throat that could vibrate the vocal cords and contain a speaker to not only keep her throat massaged, but also increase the volume of her speech bubbles. I was also thinking of two items similar to my hearing aids, but instead of helping her hear would help her filter out noises so that she could use her quirk at close range without risk of deafening herself."Angel then turned to Farrah with a big grin. "What do you think?" |

The youngest Di Prima giggled along with Angel's enthusiasm. "A Roomba! A Roomba!" Sara cheered along, spinning in imitation of a dance that Farrah might do when she was pleased.
Julie lowered her eyebrows, smiling sympathetically from the background. "The dorms here aren't really large enough for a Roomba, are they? Who put this idea into the heads of you children?" she asked with amusement in her voice.
For her part, Farrah was already trying to figure out what Angel's Triple P could be used for. Could it have a gun or a blade hidden inside? Perhaps Angel used it to float through the sky like Mary Poppins? Would a person with wings need something like that?
As it turned out... no, they wouldn't. One of her guesses had been on point but the rest was a wash. Something about seeing Angel use a rapier still made her gulp... Truth be told, hero business was dangerous work, and a real weapon or a weaponized quirk was a great boon for a hero. After all, three of the four class groups here in UA were designated for combat readiness. When Farrah thought of heroes, she thought of rescue and apprehending criminals. Even here at the Sports Festival, however, there was a large combat tournament taking place between the schools. She had seen it during Geist's rescue course too... fighting was unavoidable for heroes going against opponents with the conviction to oppose heroes.
Angel was aware that heroes can't swing blades with intent to kill; she informed the younger sisters as much. That said, Sara and Diana weren't thinking about that at all. The two of them were just captivated by the cool and toyetic weapon Angel carried. "That's so cool! It's super useful!" Sara cheered.
"Anyone could be a hero with one of those!" Diana pointed out.
"Not so fast, little ones! There is a reason criminals eschew these in favor of guns. Fencing takes a lot of practice! Luckily for us, Angel has it!" she informed the others in a catchy rhyme. "Don't you think it takes diligence, to use a classy weapon like this? We should all strive to follow Angel's example and make sure our daily training is ample."
"I agree with that sentiment, if you're applying this to studying as well," Julie chuckled darkly, placing one hand on Angel's shoulder and causing her daughter to jump with fright.
Farrah wished she could stick out her chest and come up with another prideful rhyme at Angel's praise... but she had only learned invention was a common task for support studies students upon entering the school. She was barely industrious enough to bake, let alone build. She had always considered that her role as a supporter would be oriented towards morale, if there was such a role. In hindsight, perhaps she hadn't given it a lot of thought in general.
Additionally, her Hollywood blood boiled slightly hot at the thought of being a stagehand instead of an actor... only because she loved the stage. But if she was a singing, dancing stagehand who brought joy to the hearts of all, then surely she could be as great as any actor? It was certainly something to think about.
While Farrah was thus preoccupied, Angel was thinking of new ideas to help Farrah use her power more effectively. The elder Di Prima sister blinked a few times, adjusted her shades, then smiled to match Angel's. "Those ideas you've come up with shine with your intelligence! And a certain heroic sense of elegance. When it comes to the weakness of my range, you are correct. When I use close range bubbles, I find myself wrecked! Knowing the sound of my own voice it should be possible to deafen it by choice. Such a device could be simple, cutting off sound, when I know such a detonation is inbound!" And just like that, the two had plotted out a support item together.
Julie was certainly thinking twice at her thought that Angel and Farrah would distract each other. Angel could be just the person to focus Farrah on her hero work. Julie just hoped that Angel was ready when the time came when the winged girl had a really good idea and all Farrah wanted to do was play bongos...
"I'll have to find that boy Yojin! I hear he's an inventor! He can make it for me or perhaps mentor, so that I can learn to invent for myself! My handy works will line every shelf!" Farrah chuckled, striking a pose and with her head tilted and one fist on her hip.
Julie was still finding it hard to imagine her daughter suddenly becoming a blacksmith or an inventor... but she had never imagined Farrah becoming a hero earlier, either. Maybe it could happen, down the line.
"So, what is next, in your self improvement regimen? Improving an already impressive specimen?" Farrah addressed Angel, with barely hidden flirtatiousness.

| A ngel couldn't help but giggle at the smallest Di Prima and how innocent she was. It was nice to see that something as simple as a little robotic floor cleaner could excite her. It however was a bit disheartening to see Farrah's sisters see her weapon as nothing but a toy and not the tool that it was. Even with Farrah trying to explain it to them with her wonderful way with words Angel didn't think that they truly understood. In order to try and mend the situation Angel got down on one knee in front of both children and gave them a warm smile. "I tell you what kiddos,As long as your mama is okay with it next time Farrah and i are on break from classes I'll come over with some practice swords and teach you some moves. As soon as I hear that you've been abusing what i taught you though the lessons are gonna stop. I hope i make myself clear." With her offer extended and Angel back on her feet she felt her body shiver as Julie placed her hand on Angel's shoulder causing her to freeze up until the almost unthinkable happened! Farrah's mom who had been dead set about them breaking up began to praise her! It actually made Angel blushed and smile nervously. It actually felt nice to have Julie on her side. "I knew I'd win you over eventually Ms.Prima!"As Farrah began to praise Angel's rather clever and creative support item idea in her own unique way even going as far as to say that she would seek out another student who was a better inventor then she was and try and get him to mentor her so that she could make her own stuff Angel grinned from ear to ear because the reaction was just what she was hoping for. She wanted to spur and encourage Farrah to move forward and progress not only as a hero but as a person! "I'm glad you like the idea song bird! If anything else comes to mind I'll make sure to scribble it down and send it your way! One should always try and better themselves whenever they get the chance. It feels like I am constantly having sparring matches with other students like Sue! I may not be the most scholastically gifted, but I live for the thrill of a good physical challenge! That doesn't mean that I'm gonna stop trying to improve my mind too though."As Farrah began to praise her body by asking what was next in her physical regimine in order to improve her body. Angel blushed and kissed Farrah's cheek and then smiled. "Well sadly I must take my leave my beautiful song bird. I gotta make sure my hero suit is completely repaired for the tournament and the calvery battle coming up against one of the other schools. I'm fighting in both!"Angel smiled and took to the air and hovered slightly above both her own family and Farrah's and waved down at them. "I better hear you guys cheering me on from the stands! Oh and Song bird? Make sure to keep that outfit!"Without another word Angel flew off through the sky to finish preparing for the two events that would help not only put her future on the fast track, but also introduce the world to The Angel of mercy!
