You leave me here wondering if I'll ever know How much you care, or how much you don't If you're going to be somebody's last time, baby be mine. “ The sports festival was in full swing. There had never been so many people on the campus before. Even during the opening ceremony, the place was practically empty. However with the increase in the number of hero schools and the growth of the professional heroes occupation as a whole more and more people became interested in Yuuei. Even schools from other countries had started their own hero schools in hopes to have professional heroes in their country as well. It was an option for Kyla to return to her home country and continue her education there, but she was with Yuuei right now. She didn't have any intention of going back home, even if she missed her parents. For now, she was going to enjoy the school events and festival before it was her turn to take part in the interschool combat event. She didn't know what kind of students she was going to be paired with, but she was excited to show off the things she could do now that she was much stronger than she was before. Even in an outing at the festival, Kyla was showing off one of the amazing this she did. As she walked around she was tailed by her Nasod Maid, Ophelia. It was an android that was linked to her quirk, her Nasod Core. It wasn't designed for combat or anything that was what Oberon was for. Instead, Ophelia was a maid designed to serve Kyla and make her life easier. So as Kyla walked through the festival alleys, she had her Nasod close behind her and drawing the attention of the people visiting the school. It was a good way to show off just how amazing Yuuei was. However, unbeknownst to her, odd things were happening. Stuff was going missing and a devious place was being put into motion. But before the girl even caught wind of that, she opted for a snack. She walked the food stalls of the festival to see what kind of delights the cooking club had made for the students today. She was, of course, wearing her school uniform and opted to not project clothing on herself today. She didn't want any strange mishaps happening with so many people around. Stopping at a stand, she'd smile if she could as she waited her turn and order for yakitori. This was a Japanese festival after all. The basic fast food was definitely going to be around. As it was being cooked, she turned to face Ophelia. "Could you reserve a seat for me, please." She instructed. The machine gave Kyla a polite bow and walked over to a table to confiscate a chair for Kyla. By the time she turned back around her food was ready and she paid for it before taking it from the man and walking over to her table. Ophelia pulled out the chai for her and Kyla said down with her food. Looking out to the crowd, the place was filled with foreigners and it was impossible to see if any of her classmates were around. ”

As the class president, there were a number of things Ericka had to do in the background before she got to go and enjoy the festival. She didn't mind the added responsibility. It was what she signed up for when she was voted in. Ericka was already accustomed to providing for her classmates. BEtween cleaning up the classroom and tidying up the dorm common area, doing that little best extra was just kind of Ericka's thing. And for now, she was helping the festival out a bit as it opened up. This was the first time a lot of people were coming to the campus and most people didn't know their way around. The campus was new and large and with the exciting events being advertised by the school, Ericka wanted to make sure everyone could enjoy it to the fullest. That meant that right now, she was passing out folded maps to the guests that came through. With all kinds of families and citizens of the city coming in, Ericka wanted to provide them the path to exactly what she wanted. But another part of the job was to be able to greet her parents once they got here. They expressed their excitement to see Ericka out there in the competition. They lived in the city but didn't get the chance to visit the campus openly like they were going to get to do now. They were interested in their daughter's progress and how the school was handling her. They moved all the way to Musutafu so that Ericka could attend the school, so they expected a lot from the institution. And fortunately for Ericka, they would arrive just as she was ending her shift. She had passed out all her maps and was handing back toward the information booth to report just that. But just as she turned around she spotted the couple out of the corner of her eye and whipped her self around to face them. "Mom! Dad!" She called out, knowing full well that they couldn't hear her over the crowd. So her voice was accompanied by a wave and a smile as she rushed over to them. They were used to seeing her in her school uniform since she visited after school often and didn't always change right away. She had plenty of clothes at home compared to the ones she had at school. "Hey, sweetie. You ready to show off that training right?" Her father asked her as she went over to hug him. She chuckled a bit as he spoke and nodded her head. "I've got some cool new moves and everything!" She responded while letting go and then hugging her mother. "I can't wait for you to see how cool some of my classmates are too!" She added, obviously excited to show her class to her parents. They were going to be watching from the stands, so they were going to be able to see what Yuuei as a whole had to offer and Ericka was excited for them to be impressed.

these rapid eyes will keep on moving After meeting a rather interesting student hat had come to visit Yuuei with his school Lani was extra pumped. She was looking forward to the awesome stuff she was going to see today and she could barely contain her excitement. It was hard to see if things were going to turn out good or bad, but Lani was happy to see there being something to look forward to. But for now, she was done with practice and had some free time. Before she did that though, she returned to her room to change and wash up a bit. It was no good to just walk around in her cheer uniform and get it dirty. Likewise, she had worked up a little sweat and didn't want to be unfresh when she was exploring the event. Since she was going to be representing her school she decided to change into her school uniform until it was time for her event. She still debated whether or not she was going to wear her hero costume for it or not. She knew just what kind of reaction she was going to get when she wore it. And while she didn't mind showing off, her school would probably complain. Luckily enough for her, the girl had a backup costume. She wasn't sure if they would complain about that one too, but screw that at that point. It really just depended on how much effort she wanted to put into it all.
For right now, she was free and Lani planned to enjoy herself. She was checking out what kind of fun games and events were going on along with the festival and basically picking up where she left off when the boy from before. There were some prizes she could win, but nothing really took her interest. Maybe she could get something for her classmates. Moving through the crowd, Lani looked curiously over the shoulders of various groups in front of the stall. One crowd, in particular, was really interesting. Some students were talking about some robots they had just fought and heard they were going to be implemented in the school training for the hero course. That sounded really fun and Lani hoped that would be the case.
That said, Lani eventually stopped at a target range. Patrons were tasked with hitting a target that was a certain distance away. The further away the target was, the better the prizes. her mind instantly went to Ericka and how she would kill it at this game. But aside from that, Lani was interested in seeing people use their quirks on the game. It was very much allowed and she wanted to see some really creative stuff flung across the stall. A wide smile grew on her face as she stood to the side of the stand and watched kids and students make attempts at hitting the target. It took a few moments, but one of the people running the booth noticed her and motioned his hand over to the front to try and play. "Nah! I want to leave the prizes for them." She joked, nodding her head to the people still trying to hit the targets. ulla

Demon Machine i no longer fear ending my hell It was early on in the festival and Nyke was putting the finishing touches on the event she was planning for it. While she was going to take part in the interschool competition later on in the day, before then she wanted to do some testing. The robotics club put together some designs for robots for students to fight and Nyke wanted to test them here today. She had gotten permission from the school to do so and hoped that this test would have her machines ready enough to use them in actual classes. And while it wasn't a part of her initial plans, she liked the idea of other schools using them as well. It was an interesting business venture even though Nyke wasn't all that business minded. Her father saw the potential in it, however. Not only that, but one of the other club members knew that side of creation as well, so that was ever helpful. Right now, however, she was helping to set up. The space they had allotted to them was actually decently large. It was kind of off to the side compared to the main festival area, but that was fine with Nyke. She wasn't supposed to be the main attraction.
Right now she was setting up the tables and canopy that was going to serve as the home base for herself and the three assistants from Hellion that were tasked with helping her. The trailers that held the machines and their materials were already in place from the day before, so they didn't have to worry about driving that stuff on to the campus. And between the two tables, Nyke put up was a portable generator. It was going to power the different things the crew needed to record the actions and data that took place during the testing. The assistants were busy taking stock of the machines to make sure everything was there and one was setting up the cameras. Nyke was tasked with the less technical stuff since she had a habit of breaking things and this equipment was pretty delicate.
But sure enough, as time went on, everything was set up nicely. Just about everything was accounted for and taken care off. So, to finish things off, Nyke got out the forms for those that wanted to participate in the testing. It was a place for them to write their names and their quirks. Nd there was another form for when they finished up that was to ask for feedback regarding the machines. Even if the people testing weren't technically versed, how they liked them and how they felt about fighting the robots was still important. It was being made for them after all. Meanwhile, the assistants were making their way toward one of the trailers. Something was up, but it didn't need to involve Nyke just yet. Instead, the girl took a short walk around their testing area to make sure they had enough room and to make sure all the cameras could see her when she was within it. Though she spoke no words, her excitement over the whole thing was pretty obvious. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

You leave me here wondering if I'll ever know How much you care, or how much you don't If you're going to be somebody's last time, baby be mine. “ With her food in hand, Kyla paid for it and made her way to the table that Ophelia had picked out for her. From the looks of thing,s she was able to get a table that had no one else at it, so that worked out. Everyone was busy moving about and doing their own thing, so it made sense. So Kyla took her snack and her plate to the table as Ophelia pulled out a chair for the girl. It felt nice to have a maid like this. Kyla was by no means rich. Her family was pretty middle class and she didn't know what it was like to live with that kind of background. But having a machine that could do this for her kind of made her feel like a princess. It was really nice and sweet even though that was what Ophelia was programmed to do. Nasods weren't replacements for human and Kyla knew that, but Ophelia was a nice companion and servant. Take her seat, Kyla thanked the machine. She would respond with a polite bow and stand at Kyla's side in case she needed anything else. As the girl started to eat, she too noticed to those working at the sports festival. Each of the tables had a centerpiece to help them not look so barren. It was just a small painted pot with a flower or two placed in them. it was really inexpensive since the pots were made from recycled cans and the flowers were pretty cheap. However, Kyla noticed that some of the tables were missing flowers and one of the ladies working at the festival was replacing them. It seemed like people were walking off with the flowers for whatever reason. What kind of person stole flowers like that? It was disappointing, but Kyla didn't think anything of it. At least she didn't until she glanced back at the center of her table to see that her flower was gone now. "...What?" She questioned with a murmur between the chewing of meat in her mouth. It was just there before, which was why she noticed in the first place. What the heck was going on? Now it looked like Kyla was the one that had stolen the flower, which made the girl not want to get up from the table after her snack. No one else had come by the table that she noticed, so what happened to it. In her confusion, the lady replacing flowers stopped at Kyla's table and tiredly placed a replacement on the table. She looked upset and bothered by the whole thing and Kyla felt kind of bad for her. This only increased as Kyla looked at the other tables to see that more flowers were missing again. With the woman going around and replacing them, surely they would have all had one by now, so why were they disappearing. "Ophelia....? Are you recording? Please do." She commanded, insisting that her Nasod start to record the tables to try and find out why this odd thing was happening. For all Kyla knew, this was one of the schools playing some kind of prank. ”

With her parents' meeting, Ericka spoke with them a bit about the going on's so far. But during it, her father was quick to remind her that she had a job to do. Both of her parents were hard workers and they taught Ericka to be the same. So they didn't want to distract her from her task for too long. Sure, they wanted to spend more time with their daughter. They loved her very much after all. But they also wanted her to be responsible. She was to become a hero and a hero had to be focused on the task at hand. If Ericka ended up being some kind of a flake, she wouldn't be able to be the person she wanted to be. So with a happy "See you later" her parents were off to enjoy the festival and take their seat in the stands to see the school competition. As for the pamphlets that Ericka was passing out, she was just about finished with the stack that she had. And since she still had a little more time on the clock, the girl figured she would grab a few extra and then find a way to enjoy herself at the festival until it was time for her to take part in her events. She walked back over to the kiosk set at the front and leaned over the counter. She rested one of her hands on it while she leaned forward to speak with the person that was there. They were currently helping someone else with direction, so the blonde waited patiently for the woman to finish before asking for more pamphlets. When the child of the woman being helped looked over at Ericka, the blonde smiled sweetly, just to give the festival a cheerful atmosphere. Once that was all set and done, the woman at the kiosk turned to Ericka. "What's up?" She asked. Ericka nodded her head toward the entrance of the festival before speaking up. "I just need a few more pamphlets before I finish up my time helping out." She said, asking for a few more. The woman nodded and reached down to one of the shelves under the counter. And in looking for the pamphlets, she became distressed. She found them, but something else was missing from the shelves that she was looking for. It was a piece of equipment that operated the kiosk. It had a few electronics built into it for the self-help desk that customers could use. And there was a remote control that could control the screen and its functions without having to walk to the other side of the kiosk and meddle with the touch screen. Apparently, it was now gone, even though the woman swore she just had it. Concerned, Ericka spoke up, glancing around to make sure it hadn't fallen off the counter. "I don't see anything. Do you think someone walked off with it?" It was possible, but they were in trouble if that was the case. Kyla Casey, Lani Bijan, Nyke Nora

these rapid eyes will keep on moving As Lani watched the games, she noticed something odd. It was something that the people at the stall hadn't noticed at all yet. They seemed to be gleefully unaware of what was missing. The game she was watching was a classic. A gun that sprayed water was attached to the counter and the people that played were supposed to shoot a target with water continuously until the meter filled up and the bell rang. That person would be the winner and earn a prize. There were three people at the counter, which meant that some of the guns were free. However, some of the spots on the counter where guns were supposed to be had them missing. The base where the gun sat when it was unused was fine. There wasn't an issue there at all. But the tubing that led into and under the counter, as well as the water pistol itself, were gone.
Surely, if the man hosting the game wanted more customers he would have put them all out. So what happened to the gun. Lani first assumed that it was just the result of some angry patron. Someone might have lost and ripped the gun out in frustration. With the quirks that were around nowadays, that wouldn't have been unreasonable. But that would make sense for one gun maybe. There were at least three that were missing. It was too early into the festival to have something like that happen already...right? Concerned, Lani waved her hand back in forth in a short motion to grab the man's attention. Noticing her, he probably assumed she wanted to take part now and rushed over to her. "What happened to those?" She asked, pointing to the empty spaces on the counter. The man had a look of visible confusion as he turned around. And when he did, his face moved from confusion to shock and anger as he saw what Lani had pointed out. "What hell!?" He called out, startling the other people at the stall as he rushed over to the empty spots to inspect them.
His surprise revealed to Lani that it wasn't some event that was taken notice to him earlier. No one ripped them out after losing a game, so what was really going on? Lani watched as the man searched under the counter to see where the tubing was disconnected and what might have happened. And with the way the guns were removed, it was something that someone could have only really done if they were behind the counter as well. The guns and the tubing were removed all the way up to the tank of water that the guns got their ammo from. Not only that, but the thief had the courtesy to shut the valve of water that the tubs connected to so that water from the tank did not spill everywhere. His visible distress made Lani wonder if there was some strange prank or thief ruining around the festival. She couldn't have something like this happen at a festival hosted by Yuuei. Not when they were trying to put on a good look for the other schools ulla

Demon Machine i no longer fear ending my hell As Nyke moved finished up the area she was working in, she moved to one of the trailers. It was here that the machine and their spare parts were being stored. They needed to make sure that they had enough spares to last a few tests. it was going to be a pain to try and get more supplies in the middle of the sports festivities, so Nike needed to make sure everything was there. She entered the trailer for the humanoid machines. They were basically the shock troops of the robots she made. Currently, she had three sets that she wanted to test. Smaller fast-moving drones were the first. They were light and easy to defeat, but their point was to serve as scouting and support for the main test. That main test was the more humanoid robots. They were designed to be the main fighting force and to wield a wide variety of weapons. In this test, they were mostly going to be using batons, but They could be easily outfitted with different things. SFor now she just wanted to get their movements down and make them a reasonable fighting force.
And the last trailer was filled with stationary machines They were to be set up and not move once they did. Cover fire while the main force was on the front line was going to be a thing for the heroes of the future, so Nyke wanted to make sure this scenario was covered by her machines as well. And when they were defeated or destroyed in the first test, she wanted to make sure they could easily repair or have extra available right away. After all, the number one design philosophy behind them was to make the machines easily replaceable and repairable for reuse. As she moved through one of the trailers, she noticed something was odd, however. In the back where the extra limbs were stored some things were out of place. Usually the parts were strapped down to prevent them from moving while the parts were shipped here. However, the limbs were in a curious pile at the back of the trailer. Did they come loose doing transport? Nyke didn't really know, but she had to check. This was inventory after all. She walked to the back of the trailer, her footsteps clanking against the metal with each one. She first approached the containers that were supposed to hold the limbs. The straps weren't broken at all. In fact, they were undone properly, which meant they didn't break in transport at all. Curious she started to place the parts back in their proper place and counted them along the way. And as she was doing so, one of the assistants that were with her entered the trailer as well. He saw Nyke picking up the parts and came over to assist.
"A mess."
Her words were quiet and muttered. But with his help, it was obvious to see that something was missing. Namely, two limbs were gone. They still had plenty to work with, but the theft was not to be tolerated. She looked up at her assistant, who shook his head. It seemed they had a thief around. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ
