HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? She had no idea where she found the time, the time to change clothing was only gone. She had given up on changing her outfit and was dressed in the red-orange with white cheerleader outfit with a black leather jacket. At least her pompons were still safe in her locker. She wore dark coloured tights and had long sleeves on her shirt as well, it might not be the hottest season in the year and Rowan hated winter because it made her drowsy and slow, she was doing okay now with running around from one point to the next. She bumped into Miku again, "Oh, hi." She had seen her shortly during their shift at lunchtime. Now that she had lunched herself, so many minutes after, she was now at least doing better than about thirty minutes ago. She wondered mostly about the other students, she had seen their faces from time to time but actually seeing them was not something that she remembered. She was too busy, maybe she should do something for a warming up, now running around worked like that pretty well but a proper warming up might not be something bad.
She would ask her friend if that is that Miku would stick around her. Lady wondered how Miku felt, after their last encounter and Rowan getting that slap on her cheek and getting sort of knocked out. Well, she was entirely grateful to her so-called friend because it gave her the upper hand to be dominant. Rowan now being in some sort of magical sleep and not bothering her thoughts, it made Lady a happy camper and with that, it was easy enough to represent the grump in her school days. She had not to look around for people, she could do whatever she wants and so on. It was a perfect strategy. All she wanted to do was meet someone interesting or multiple people from the other schools to know what she would have to be prepared for.

Miku was out on her missions. Learn about all other schools. She was eager to meet foreigners, learn their abilities and maybe even befriend them. She wandered the are, not knowing where to start. And because of that she was lost in thoughts, thinking where to go. What was the best place to start and finish. Suddenly, she bumped into someone, Miku looked and saw Rowan of all people. The person she hoped to avoid. She doesnt hate Rowan, but she just feels terrible about everything. She herself feels like a terrible person. Miku doesnt wanna feel terrible, thats why she avoids Rowan now. "Oh hi" Miku greeted her back She didnt say anything for a while, but she had to say something. Well, there was one thing she had to say "Sorry about...you know"Miku had to apologize, she just didnt know about Rowans... condition. Forgive her or not, if Rowan doesnt want anything to do with Miku, she would understand. Maybe its best that way, but whether the girl likes it or not, Miku will eliminate Nick.
She was ready to move out of Rowans way, if she needed to go anywhere. "Maybe I can find someone else in another area" she thought

A new country, a new culture, and yet Arthur Hale was in search of only one thing – cheese. The supposed star student of the Valiant Institute was well-known among his peers not just for being the son of their headmaster, nor his prowess with his Quirk, but also his love of the yellow stuff. Surely there had to be a stall with cheese somewhere. There were cooking clubs at the other schools, were there not? He realised he was catching the eye of some of the people around him and did his best to put a smile on his face and give a casual wave (waving was not offensive in Japanese culture, right?) “Err, hi there – no, I mean konnichiwa!” Yes, that was it. The Institute students had all been given Japanese lessons in preparation for their visit, so Arthur did his best to switch to Japanese for his next words: “Greetings from the Valiant Institute and all that. Yeah.”Lord, he could almost hear his father telling him to man up and represent better. He paused to let out an inward sigh, then puffed his chest out and attempted to add more swagger to his steps. He was Sir Valiant the Second. No one messed with him! ...Wait, this was not the stalls area. It suddenly dawned on him that he had somehow wandered into the combat training zone. Oops. When had he taken a wrong turn? He hung his head with a loud groan. “No cheese for me, I guess,” he said in English. “I guess I’ll just train...” But where to begin? He spotted two girls ahead in UA uniforms. Perhaps they would know. Once again puffing his chest out, he swaggered over to them. “Hey,” he said in his best Japanese, doing his best to flash them a confident smile. “Do you know where the training drones are? I have some records to set.”

HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? Lady looked with an amused smile on her lips, she tried to hide it but it was too difficult. Sorry about... you know. She wanted to laugh about it because Miku had no idea what happened. It was so much better like this, so much more carefree, being able to do what she wanted. She brushed her long black hair over her shoulder, wanting to put it back up in a bun but for now she would just see. "Well, that's in the past now." She should pretend it wasn't so bad, not to be entirely happy about it because that would freak people out too. "Sorry I didn't tell you about ehm, well my condition." She pretended to be embarrassed and not look at Miku, she knew how Rowan thought about the girl, like her best friend and she dared to tell everything to her, no matter how embarrassing but maybe with the Nick-fiasco it had become worse, hence why she was now in some sort of dormant movement, asleep and dreaming about decisions while Lady took the lead.
"Why are you here?" Because she surely herself got lost in the training area, she had no time to train, but looking around could not harm her as she wanted to be prepared. She looked up when someone else said hey to them, a voice she did not recognize and she brushed again her long black hair over her shoulder, this time the other way around to simply play with it cautiously, you had to look cute if you were a cheerleader outfit even if it was looking slightly orange. "Some records to set?" She couldn't help but laugh this time, she may be in a giggly mood thanks to Miku, "Oh my, I just came here myself, I have no idea, to be honest." Maybe Miku had been here longer. His accent was funny, he looked nice, she wouldn't mind learning more about him. Twirling a piece of her around her right index finger.

Oh... so she didnt mind it?...No... that cant be... How? Why?... Nothing really?? Was it water under the bridge? Already? Miku's mind was blown. Rowan then asked Miku why was she here "Oh, Im here on a personal mission for something." Miku said as she didnt know if Rowan was in her competition as well, she couldnt say that she wants to scope out all the people and their Quirks.
Soon, they were interrupted by an unfamilar voice. Miku looked towards the source of the voice and saw a pretty handsome stranger. He spoke Japanese, but very poorly. Miku could tell by the accent that he was either British or Canadian. An english speaker overall. Miku decided to help the guy out and communicate with his language. Before she did though, she heard Rowan laugh, which caugt her by surprise. For some reason, the laugh unsettled her a bit. How could she be fine and dandy and peppy after what happened? Miku just still didnt feel good as she repented what she did.
Ah well, now was not the time for sad times. They had a foreigner to greet, or at least Miku did "Hello" she greeted him in english, after she heard what he wanted she just looked at him curiously "Sorry, I dont know where anything is. I'm just getting to know the layout of this place." She spoke fluently in english, her accent was a bit american when speaking english rather then japanese. It was an advantage of having a uTube channel and watching american shows on internet and TV "We have training drones?" Miku thought to herself, she didnt want to say that out loud because she didnt want to look stupid
Miku's bold text is english. Standard text is Japanese. Italic is her thoughts. And even if not present now, underline is when she emphasizes a word or line. This is just to clarify her text as she might switch between english to japanese to mental thought lines

Arthur’s grasp of Japanese was not the best, despite his efforts, so he appreciated that one of the two girls responded in English. Sadly, what she said was not what he wanted to hear. It seemed the girls had no idea where the combat drones were, even though he was sure he had heard there were drones in use.
“Oh,” he said, now speaking English again. “Well, that’s a bit rubbish, isn't it?” He shrugged his shoulders. “I guess I’ll just keep looking. You, ah, wouldn’t want to accompany me in finding them, would you?” He had no real idea why he asked; perhaps it was because he disliked being alone, but of course he could not let that show and quickly forced a cocky smirk onto his face. “You can get a little preview of how great I am before I sweep the battle tournament!”
Somewhere in his mind he heard Julia’s ever-condescending voice crying out that showing off his Quirk to the other schools’ students was foolish and would give his weaknesses away, but at the same time he heard his father declaring that Sir Valiant feared no man and hid nothing from anyone, and he cared about what his father said significantly more.

HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? Miku was too sweet and in Lady's eyes, she might have always been. Too soft, too, well she did not know. The experiences were not entirely great. She expected more will power and maybe she had but she never showed around them. She found it funny to see the boy struggle with his Japanese, obviously, he did not speak it, and Miku had ruined that game by immediately speaking English to him, pretty wild guess but the half British girl had heard the accent as well. Confident. She crossed her arms in front of her chest and looked from Miku at the boy, so this must be the English school. They at least offered people that were pretty to look at. She turned her eyes shortly at Miku when they were invited along, something about a personal mission, well if she could ruin that fun, so she would. "Oh, sorry." As if she needed to apologize for not speaking Japanese, "I believe the training drones are on the other side of the hall, as to avoid people to bump into it." She pointed to another door where there was a secluded place, you could still see it but there were nets dividing the parts, at this point, there was no one there though to prove her point. "But now I am curious if that's true and how they look, so if you don't mind, I will hop along." She said it in the most sugar sweet voice she could, showing off her own accent that her mother had actually started by teaching her English and since her grandmama lived in London, she was very keen on that accent as well. "I am very curious to see that preview." Her eyes shortly shot to Miku to see if she would react to that but she did not want to hold on too long for the reaction. She actually wanted to drop herself around the arm of the handsome guy but resisted the urge to do so. Maybe it worked already well enough that she was still wearing her cheerleader outfit.
~~ Following Maya's example of text.

Miku was glad she could 'help' him by communicating in english, although she was sad she could not fully help him, she could see his disappointment, which also made her a bit sad. But then Rowan chimed in and spoke in english, she knew where the training drones were and she wanted to come with the guy, after he invited them. "Why does she feel so weird...I get some heebygeebe weird vibe from her. I must have did a bad, a real bad bad" Miku thought to herself She shook away those thoughts for now and spoke to the stranger
"I would love to accompany you. I am curious to see this preview that you speak of" Miku smiled and said to the englishman And since Rowan knew where the training drones were, Miku decided to follow her. But she walked beside the foreigner rather then her. Miku was eager to see what this person has to offer in battle, assuming he is in the same competition as her. Not to mention, Miku loved comminicating with people from other nations, she hoped to also befriend this one sided rival.
And with that she introduced herself. "Im sorry, I didnt even introduce myself. My name is Miku Hajimari, I'm from UA's class 1B." Miku introduced herself and then asked "And who might you be?"

Arthur had half-expected the two girls to decline his offer, but much to his secret inner surprise they did not laugh at him at all. In fact, they quite bought into his whole act, apparently. Excellent!
It seemed the dark-haired girl did actually speak English, as she apologised for having not done so before and told him where the drones could be found, which saved him the trouble of wandering aimlessly around like an idiot some more. The blonde-haired girl proceeded to introduce herself as Miku and asked him his name.
He puffed his chest out and flashed them his best dazzling grin (which, in his opinion, was pretty freaking dazzling: he worked hard on his hygiene, damn it). “I’m Arthur Hale, Sir Valiant the Second.” He wondered how familiar the two would be with the name Sir Valiant, and not just because the Institute was named after him. His father’s heroics that had earned him his status as Britain’s first Pro Hero were not exactly low key, unheard of news, and not only that his father was present at the Sports Festival as the Institute’s headmaster. “Future number one hero in the world,” he then added. “Alright, follow me, then!”
He proceeded to head off in the direction the dark-haired girl indicated. As he reached it he looked back at his two new companions. “Do you ladies just want to watch or do you want to have a go, too?”

HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? Miku was taking all the fun away but that made it maybe more fun if she approached it differently. Completely oblivious to what Miku thought about her own behaviour. She wasn't entirely sure where the drones were but she now hoped that she was right, she did not know how long she could play this innocent giggly girl, she had never had a good example. She had an idea that Miku tried to make everything better, which made her look like a fool, starting immediately with speaking English, Lady had wanted to test how bad that Japanese was because it was surely very funny and now secondly not forgetting to introduce herself, she wasn't that dumb, she had noticed that but neither had he.
She raised her eyebrow shortly but had that smile on her lips when he gave them a good grin, very cute. Even if Rowan was not active in her brain, the memories were not gone, their past was the same. She wanted to stop walking, but she did not want to be ignored, "No way! You can't be kidding, I heard so much about Sir Valiant." Obviously, because her mother made her pick between going to U.A. or going to England and she had for a second wanted to go to the British program because of the bad memories here, lucky for Lady they did not pick that course, else she would never be active and thus never walk here. Future number one hero in the world, ha. Well good for him she was no competition. "Impressive. I am Rowan, by the way, Rowan Sakamoto from UA's class 1A. My mother wanted me to go to your school." She had to say that, obviously, her eyes shortly looking at Miku when Arthur said to follow along, which was interesting, she should have never indicated but she simply followed.
She was sure that Miku would answer the question with a go or maybe she would not consider their teamwork during the training of Semper Fi, her plants, she needed seeds right, better use them for the competition, whatever one she was in. "I would love to try." She should stay interesting too right? For future purposes, although they were not in the same competition, it was a thing in general.

Arthur Hale, Sir Valiant the Second. That was the name of her new companion and her competition. Surely the two would meet in battle. Thats what Miku thought. Arthur then proclaimed that he'd be worlds number 1 hero. Which was such a bold statement, she didnt know how to feel about that as Hero ranks werent something Miku was interested in. Miku had to keep her mouth shut, but Vigilantism was what interested her more. Arthur then asked the girls will they just watch or will they also have a go
"Oh, I am sorry but I will sit this one out. I will just watch you two" Miku said as she didnt want to reveal her Quirk to her possible competition, she would just use this chance to observe and learn what she could about her tournament foe. After all, Arthur said he was gonna be in the battle tournament. This was her one chance to get an edge over others, if she doesnt get this, she wont be able to get a single win "I'm just not that strong... I need to be stronger" Miku thought to herself This tournament was a test of her power, if she fails.... she will get power, no matter where does it come from

Arthur raised his eyebrows with interest as the dark-haired girl, Rowan, mentioned that her mother had wanted her to attend the Valiant Institute.
“She did?” he remarked. “Ah, well. We opened a lot later anyway, so you probably ended up ahead of us. Some of us.” He had to add that. Particularly since Rowan intended to also take on the drones, and apparently knew of his father’s exploits. Damn it, how had he not noticed her British accent? Perhaps he had just assumed she had been taught English so well she had adopted one...
He pushed away those thoughts and once again plastered a smirk across his face. “Well, let’s see who is the fastest, then!”
The arena for the combat drones was about the size of your average volleyball court with asphalt terrain and a large wire fence around it. Arthur spoke to the supervisor of the training area, who let him in through a gate built into the fence.
He paused at one end of the arena to wave to the two girls. Then, he looked away again and held out both of his considerably muscular arms. He flexed them and, with a rather disgusting popping sound he dearly hoped the girls were not too weirded out by, two thick white bones burst out of his forearms. He crossed his arms over each other and pulled on the bones, which he knew deep down probably did look rather very creepy. As they came free from his arms, the thicker parts of the bones gave way to thinner, flatter and sharper blade-like parts, both the length of the average medieval broadsword they resembled.
He gripped a bone-sword in each hand by the thicker parts and assumed a battle ready stance. The first series of drones rose into the air before him: they looked fairly simple, possessing a small amount more armour than your average store-bought drone and equipped with paint guns. There were five of them in total.
“Let’s grab some glory!” Arthur declared.
He surged towards the drones like a man possessed. Even a rampaging rhinoceros would have looked pathetic compared to his charge. The drones soared towards him. The leading two opened fire with their paint guns. Arthur deftly moved to the left out of the way of their fire without losing a second of speed.
Arthur was not nearly as confident as he pretended to be, but in a fight he became something else. Something unstoppable. That much was obvious as he threw himself into the midst of the drones and unleashed a whirlwind flurry of furious swings. To say the drones did not stand a chance would be putting it mildly. Within moments they were reduced to harmless chunks of scrap that fell to the ground around him.
Arthur stood over the minced remains of the drones, taking in deep, heavy breaths as his mind slowly re-emerged from his battle frenzy back into reality.
“Crap,” he muttered. “I hope they have a lot of these things.”
“Seven-point-two seconds!” declared the arena supervisor.

HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? Just as she expected, Miku did not disappoint in that case. She looked at her so-called friend with a smug smile, of course not. She was on a secret mission and for some reason, it intrigued Rowan to know what she was up to. She only remembered them working together once and she had not thought that Miku would participate to save her powers for the actual event. He had mentioned something about the tournament, Rowan was not in there, so they did not have to worry about showing off their own quirk for that.
She had responded to Arthur before but given up on the idea of flirting, she had never been too good at it, without the right experience and he seemed to be oblivious for it either way so it did not entirely matter. "She rather had me back at her home than here. Not entirely sure why but I have my guesses." She did not feel like discussing her father issues with a stranger that would probably remain a stranger and even considering Helena's suggestion, she would have never come as outing if they had not stayed here. Their first meeting was in the library, so it was a better view that way than if she would have gone to her mother's choice. She wondered shortly if Helena would have come to England with her too. Some of us. She had not missed the word in a heartbeat which only made her more curious.
She nodded slowly when he said who would be the fastest and she realized that she did not carry the ammunition that she normally used with her and had to figure out a solution to that. She wasn't going to use any of the trinkets that she carried with her for that purpose ever again, you know how expensive it was to keep replacing a brand lipstick? Expensive brands, she should give up on that. She looked around to see what to do or if she should run back to her locker to grab the pouch from her hero outfit. She should have thought about this before. She would have to wait behind the fence to first see Arthur work with his quirk. She narrowed her eyes as he waved at them and she waved back, what was he going to do? She felt a shiver going down her spine when she heard the popping sound, it shortly reminded her of the popping sound that Chiyoko's hand had made and it was not even far from what she had done. Albeit completely different. Rowan stared at the bones and felt grossed out, but her face remained neutral, she shortly looked at Miku to see her reaction. Now she had to get back to her problem but her eyes caught something in the corner of the field. So they were prepared for everyone to work here, even if the students had forgotten their own get up. That was interesting.
She looked with a slightly open mouth at Arthur and turned to look at the battle announcer, what... Seven point two seconds? Seconds? She needed Jasmine in this situation if she wanted to get that close, her explosions already took a second to detonate and to throw them immediately and accurately was impossible at the five. "Ah well, I would never be able to beat that time." But that did not mean she would not show it, she had nothing left to lose. She would wait for her time to step in and grab the pouch on the corner, shortly taking to the person standing there and checking if it was anything she needed. It were little disks, smaller than any frisbee but it would do.

Rowan and Arthur had plenty material to talk about because they were both british. Miku really had nothing to contribute, she was just a japanese girl raised by a hawaiian immigrant. Or in this case she was an extra. The only reason she went along was to see this man in action
And soon her wish would come true, Miku would soon learn to realize that she has to be careful what she wishes for. As soon she would witness Arthur wreck the shit out of a few drones. Miku watched him go to the end of the arena and then waved to them. Miku confused, waved back. She then reached for her fanny pack which mostly contained a lot of plant seeds for her quirk, but for todays occassion she had a small note and a pencil. She took those out to write down what she would see.
She heard heard an icky sound which made her a bit cringe. She then kept a poker face and observed Arthur who said something about grabbing glory before charging at the drones. But when he charged. Boy... did he change. He was a different man. He was a MONSTER. Miku was jawdropped. She just stared at him while writting in her note Bone Manipulation. She didnt even look down to see if she wrote it well, she was just there surprised and shocked and paralyzed and frozen and jawdropped and mindfucked at the same time. It was a clusterfuck of what she felt. She was scared too. She was to face THIS at the battle tournament "WELL RIP ME!!!" Miku thought to herself, because face this man or not, Miku wont relent and if need be, she will get beat to a pulp by this guy

Arthur felt a surge of pride upon hearing his time – if only his father had been there, that would show him – but could not help wincing a bit as he looked at the remains of the drones.
“Maybe I got a bit carried away,” he muttered for only himself to hear. “Well, I suppose it wouldn’t be the first time.” Or the last. In fact it seemed every time he engaged in battle he rather lost control of himself, not that the results were ever anything to complain about. They certainly were not this time, but how much did the drones cost...
He braced himself for the arena supervisor to tear into him for destroying the drones, but the supervisor did not seem to care much at all. Apparently UA must have had a lot of drones stocked up. No problem, then!
Arthur twirled his bone-swords in his hands. After a while they would wither away to nothing and his body would grow replacements, but until that happened he supposed he would just have to hold onto them. He walked back over to the two girls with the swords over his shoulders, grinning away. “So, what do you think? I’m pretty damn amazing, aren’t I? Alright, well I guess it’s your turn, Rowan. Best of luck!”
