Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse Even if Nimue realized that she did most of the things she wanted to do in a week and that time seemed to be doing and working efficiently, she was frustrated and as she sat on the chair in the tent that the school had installed for Yuuei's school nurse, she wondered who would come in and wonder about her, she actually thought it might be more important to actually go out and talk to others, see others, make sure she was there on time instead of running off. She was entirely prepared for today. Her long green hair was up in a ponytail, to avoid from falling into her face and so on, most of her bangs were pinned down with bobby pins except for one look to avoid showing off the scar on her face and she wore a nice easy dark blue sweater and black jeans, she wore a white coat with the logo of the school on her back and the word nurse, in English, so mostly everyone would understand. She had no idea who had come up with it or if it was a joke but she had taken it and decided it would work out great, people would know who shew as.
She was checking upon if everything for first aid was down here, while the most important stuff would be in the infirmary but the beds were better there as well. Nimue heard a vague hello and turned around to the opening of the tent to see three kids, one was leaning on the two on either side and one foot wasn't resting on the ground, ankles. Well sometimes you had normal injuries, but she should not judge this book by its cover. The student would sit on the bed and she would check what it was about, it hurt a lot but she managed to find the reason why to and tape the foot after making sure it was in the right position. She told the student to not put too much pressure on it and be careful, albeit she knew that whatever student would come in with a sprained ankle, would definitely not sit out the finales. She wanted to roll her eyes but refrained from it, she was like that when she was younger too, full enthusiasm. Still but not about such sports finales. As with a little bit of a difficulty, the student mingled with the other two, she followed them out and stood outside, the weather was rather good, that was a good thing for today. She crossed her arms and let her amber eyes scan the crowd, maybe it would be nice to take a break of the frustrations in her head and just see this event in the same eyes as the students. Something to be excited about. Who knew, maybe it went better than Geist's classes.

An event like the Sports Festival would obviously go hand in hand with injuries. It didn't matter if it was in the midst of training with their club, or even during a grand event like the Obstacle Course or while upholding their pride and reputation in a battle within the tournament, it was clear that there would be cases of students getting injured. To think that it wouldn't happen was naive, yet fortunately, the school now had an actual faculty member assigned to the infirmary. Indeed, at long last, the school had a school nurse once more. Although she had only met her a few times, Nimue Nakahara seemed like a motivated young woman who clearly had the best interests of the students in mind. While a more serious part of the Germanic lass felt that Nimue's skills as a school nurse had not been put to the test yet, oblivious to the woman's involvement in saving her classmate Haruuhi, it didn't mean she had a negative opinion of the school nurse.
From what she had heard Nimue had recently even hosted a first-aid course, one which would provide the students of their school with a healthy assortment of skills that could save lives someday. A part of her had considered enrolling into the course, just to see what Nimue could teach, but she decided against it. Not because she doubted the woman's skills, far from it... Actually, it was more that Elise felt that her medical skills were more than advanced enough that a course like that would only serve as a refresher of the rudimentary basics, and as someone who trained as diligently as she did... such a refresher was simply unneeded.
Indeed, Elise had other things to focus on, things that in a way she found more important. With the blossoming growth of her relationship with Tetsuko, Elise had decided to spend as much time as she could with the iron-blooded girl, especially after she learned just how stressed her lover was about the festival. It was odd how different they felt on that matter. Where Tetsuko felt stress and saw a mountain of responsibilities pressured onto her shoulders, Elise felt excitement and saw an opportunity to prove herself. Of course, she had not forgotten the media's opinion of her. Even if a mysterious Lady Scandal had, yes the name was ironic in this case, tried to reveal the truth behind the vile scandal the media had invented about her, Elise was quite aware of the fact that she had been labeled as a treacherous murderer-in-training who had aided the villain Thunder Shock in his escape.
Even now she felt infuriated at the mere thought, but she pushed the feelings aside and continued to navigate the main alley of the festival. It was quite a fascinating sight, to see the entire campus transformed into a grandiose festival of sorts, then again she believed her mentor knew all too well just how important this event was. The Sports Festival was an excellent opportunity to put U.A in a positive light, to clear the doubts and rumors that had arisen among the citizen in the wake of the lies and half-truths the media had spun about Semper-Fi. So it was likely he and the faculty had gone all out in the planning for the event.
And going all out they certainly did. The sheer amount of visitors to the festival was amazing, even discounting the security staff that was present, the amount of civilians from Musutafu and neighboring cities was immense, and that was not yet speaking about the students. While she had often heard about certain schools hosting events with other schools in their prefecture, the concept was taken into a Plus Ultra! state for the Sports Festival. Students from France, China, Brittain, Canada and even Germany were present!
If she was entirely honest, the last part made her feel a bit unusual. Indeed, seeing those students from Germany, and learning that a school existed within her country of origin had led Elise to ponder: What if her childhood had been different? If she had been born in a different part of Germany, if her parents had never transfered to Japan for their work? Would she had been a part of their school? Then again, thinking of such a what-if scenario was ridiculous at its greatest, after all if those events didn't happen she would have never met Tetsuko... never experienced all the things that led her to this point.
Certainly, some things she regretted, but overall she was more than happy with it, because this was the life she shared with her beloved iron-blooded knight. Her musings were interrupted when she spotted a familiar face in front of the large tent that was constructed to house the first-aid treatment from the school nurse and several students who no doubt had volunteered to lend a hand during their spare time. It was reasonable they made it on-site and close to the various grounds were events were being held, especially if one regarded the probability of injuries happening there to be quite high.
"Nakahara-sensei~ With a frown like that you'll be scaring your patients away." The Germanic lass chimed in a teasing tone as she approached the school nurse, a hand raised in a playful waving salute. "I'm glad to see that you and the volunteers from the first-aid course got everything in check. I would have volunteered myself, but in between the Sports Club activities, spending time with Tetsu and training for the Obstacle Course and the Tournament I didn't really have enough time to spare to properly contribute. Sorry about that~"
Gently clapping her hands together in an apologize the burgundy-haired girl grinned sheepishly as she approached the teacher and peeked inside the tent. "At least the injuries you got to deal with right now are less troubling than the ones from Geist-sensei's classes, right? Then again, I won't be surprised if you get to handle those and worse once the tournament begins. I'll be in your care in case someone decides to try to go Plus Ultra on me~ Not that I'm going to make it easy on them~"

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse "Now be careful!" She called after the trio that had just come because one of them had hurt the ankle but now they were already running around again. It was ridiculous that people did not even worry about themselves. Maybe hero-students were that reckless, that only fit them right with the classes made by Geist-sensei. She shook her head, she could not wait for the event to be over, and that was very dramatic and the assumptions made it worse but she was glad to see how excited the kids were. She frowned because of that but simply closed her eyes and enjoyed the soft wintery sun, well it was good that this was happening, the kids must enjoy it and that was more important than her worries over any injuries and so on. She could do a lot and she was actually training a couple of students as well as becoming better with her own healing and remembering much of the past studies. Now she had studied a lot but nothing prepared her for a hero school, so she was doing that by herself. Another reason to be interested in the nurses of the other schools but she had not been looking around for them either at the start and she was just focused on her own students.
She opened her eyes when she heard her surname, still not getting used to that in this culture because she always offered the people her first name, she felt that it was not possible with the students if she wanted to keep a slight distance between them and keeping the respect she should get as a teacher. Or well that's what she told herself because she was sure that the students were okay with her. She smiled at Elise when she saw her and couldn't help but let out a soft giggle, "Ag, that should be bad." She was sure that it would be okay and she wondered what the student was up to. "Don't worry about it Elise-san, you should enjoy your day as well." For many more reasons than one, "I am glad that there are a few volunteers anyway but don't feel guilty. I am glad to hear you are so busy but I should say as a nurse, of course, don't overdo it." She smiled because of that, she was sure Elise was doing fine. She was also highly amused about how Elise now openly talked about Tetsu to her, Tetsu must be Tetsuko and she had slipped before that she was a friend but now Nimue had the idea that more was going on.
She shook her head, still smiling because she believed indeed that right now it was normal, "I only have overenthusiastic eaters of Japanese food and people that run too hard and either injured their ankles or bumped into each other or something that gave them a minor cut. Nothing I can't handle, I had training with quick reaction thanks to Geist-sensei's classes." The mint-coloured lass winked and liked how carelessly she could talk to Elise for now, being able to not focus on everything that the festival had brought. "But yes, I have to be more prepared when the sports finales do start." At the moment no one had hurt itself during training, so that was a good thing.

A hearty chuckle escaped Elise's lips in response to Nimue's amused response to her little jest. She had to admit, despite the fact she was still a fairly new member of the faculty, it seemed Nimue's softer demeanor and that calm and gentle nature of hers often helped the students get comfortable around her. In a way, she was the type of person you might expect for one to be a school nurse. As cold as it might have been to make the comparison, in a way she reminded her of Sophie, and that on its own was quite a grand compliment in Elise's opinion, for she had admired the previous school nurse immensely. When Nimue commented about how she felt she should enjoy her day as well, Elise's smile quickly brightened while she hummed in response. "I certainly am~ Although Tetsu had to help the Sports Club with something for a bit so I gave her a bit of breathing space~" Elise explained while she grinned sheepishly and continued. "People often can get tired keeping up with my pace, although Tetsu is pretty used to it, likes it even since it helps distract her~ She's pretty restless about the upcoming tournament."
Tetsuko's concern was understandable, the awareness that the event was broadcasted all over the world and that so many people would be spectating, to say that it would have an impact upon the students would be an understatement, to say the least.
However, when Nimue told her not to overdo it Elise couldn't help but grin in return. "Starting to sound like a real school nurse now~ But you're right, at the very least I plan to take it a bit easy till the big events. I doubt I will be able to last long unless I give it my utmost, especially with all the other students present." Indeed, she would need to give all her strength, and possibly even go beyond her limits if she wanted to succeed in her goal of leaving a favorable impression.
However, nodding her head in affirmation that the injuries she had to deal with were mostly minor ones currently, and that she had some training with swift reactions thanks to her experience with Geist's classes, Elise couldn't help but muse softly. "I wonder if there is any medical faculty of the other schools present. It would be interesting to see some of their techniques and equipment in action, but some might be more inclined to keep such things hidden."
Her father had told her often, how sometimes medical inventions were kept secret and sold to the highest bidder, of course, such attitude disgusted the Eisenberg family, who always acted in the best interest of their patients and saw such a greedy act as a crime in its own right. "Nonetheless, I'm guessing it is a good thing that you are prepared for when the big events begin~" A brief smile lingered on her lips while she continued to ask with a hint of curiosity. "So sensei~ Do you have any assistants working right now? Think you'll be able to take a walk for a bit?"

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She had no idea what Elise thought, she only was worried that the girl would overdo it, like some of the other students as well who kept running about and she had seen them pass her many times, especially recognizable with a new U.A. uniform that she did not know and later learned as the cheerleaders had passed her a lot. But Elise could just be in that list as well. She couldn't help but chuckle when Elise said that she gave Tetsuko some breathing space, "Now nice of you." She knew it was a joke and the same for her, but it was funny how she said that. "I hear many of our students about that, is it because there are students from abroad as well?" It was a curious phenomenon, or it was because of the match and a slight amount of cameras and people around. As they had opened up the school, a lot of people she had never seen before came to visit to see.
She couldn't help but blush a little when Elise said she started to sound like a real school nurse now. "Well, I doubt you would not be capable of anything." She had not seen Elise in action, to call it like that but she heard and viewed and such, it would probably not be that bad. "Which event did you sign up for?" It would be nice to just talk about it in general right? She had just not many minutes ago spoken about the events with Miku Hajimari, why not continue that line and show the interest to the students. As she told about her swiftness and the minor problems now, she got a question about the other medical faculties. "I am super curious but I haven't seen nor heard anyone about it yet. I was very curious to see their techniques, always happy to learn something new if they have a better method but up till now, none." She shrugged but she wondered if they kept it hidden because of feeling superior or another bad reason that she could not phantom but at this point, she wasn't too worried, she had students from every other school as well, so she did not bother to think too much of the problem. She did hope that she wasn't alone, especially not if everything was right on its way. Who knew how many wounded came out, hence why she did not like it, she could not be the only one, the only nurse, right? Even with assistants.
She looked shortly at the tent when Elise asked her for a walk. "Hm, there is no one in now, so I would say why not. They keep an eye out." It might be best to relax now and if Elise wanted to walk for a bit, probably talk for a bit, it would be better to take that opportunity again.
