O ne reason that Angel loved the weekend is because it meant that she had extra time to spar by herself without any of her classmates around not seeing in her brand new moves. It also meant that she could take her time to work on moves that she wasn't so sure about without the fear of judgement and she also didn't have to share her training chocolate which was the best reason of all! It was a surprisingly sunny Saturday afternoon which made it a perfect chance to get some training in. Angel had gotten up rather early like she often did,but made sure that her new room mate could get some proper sleep without being disturbed. She put on her new favorite brown boots, blue pants, suspenders, black t-shirt with colored stripes and hooded trench coat. She then went down to the Cafeteria to have herself some breakfast. Once that was done she went back to her room to see that her roommate had gone and so Angel fixed and packed herself a lunch box containing a cluck cola,a couple chocolate bars and a peanut butter sandwich along with a small ice pack so her drink didn't get warm. She then grabbed her wooden rapier training sword. Once she was all packed up she left the dorms and allowed her large wings to slide through the wing holes she had made through her coat, pushed off the ground and took to the skies and headed toward Gym Gamma. "man I hope it's empty!"Once she touched down in front of Gym Gamma she quickly let her wings rest flat against the back of her coat and went inside. Once inside she found out that it was indeed empty to her delight! Once she was doing a little happy jig all by herself she quickly put her lunch box against the wall, removed her coat so she didn't get to hot while training and folded it up next to lunch box. Once that was all said and done she decided to start with her basic foot work, stances and strikes. Angel as she worked counted to herself as if she was counting dance steps so that she wouldn't mess up. "One,two, three and a one, two, three!"As she worked on the basics that her friend Ken had taught her she made up her mind that she was going to try and work on air swordsmanship so that if she had to fight an airborne opponent who was too agile for her feather projectiles to be effect. The best thing about training on the weekend was that she had nothing but time.

--- ARISU --- -better than watching paint dry- Angel could be one hundred percent excused for thinking she was alone- there wasn't anything lying around to indicate otherwise, there wasn't any sound at the moment, and nobody in view to disabuse her of her noting of solitude. At least, that was, until something exploded! Unsurprisingly, the something was concrete, and not exactly nearby, either!
Arisu had hunted down the spot in the gym she hoped was absolutely furthest from the entrance. She needed to get a better feel for the sort of things her quirk could do, and that meant trying it out in controlled environments- or at least on inanimate targets. This was the first time she'd ever had a target she could actually allow herself to attack, and- well, she was nervous. Was her quirk just... going to fizzle? Could her quirk even damage concrete? She had never wanted to find out, not when the concrete in question was owned by her home town or one of its businesses, but now... this was a little exciting.
She'd been quiet because she'd been option to take the easy route to collecting enough energy for what she wanted, which meant spreading enough Promethean Gas to darken the corner she'd been occupying, and slowly gathering the wisps of plasma that generated into a dense little ball. Once she'd managed that, she did the first thing that came to mind- hucked the ball of plasma against a concrete chunk nearby, damaged during another student's practice but still mostly intact. The black flame struck and started to sear into the rock immediately, but there was a side effect she hadn't much counted on- once the heat started to fragment the concrete, the plasma- trapped against the concrete by her gas- shot into the cracks and expanded violently, shattering the pillar entirely in a heartbeat and sending Arisu squealing for cover as bits of smoking stone rained down around her harmlessly, leaving a pillar of grey concrete dust starting to settle back down over her position, an easy clarion call for the other occupant to realize she wasn't alone.
From the safety of her also-concrete cover, Arisu pulled out a little spiral notebook and began to scribble rapidly. 'hot nuf 2 burn thru rock. rapid xpansn cre8s explosn. must take cautn using on hard mats.' She wasn't paying particularly close attention, and anything short of an extremely obvious approach and call hello would likely get the drop on her.

A .ngel had been counting to herself and minding her own business when she began to notice that the lights were beginning to dim and beyond that the room began to grow a bit cold. It began to become just cold enough where Angel found herself rushing over to grab her trusty trench coat. As she slipped it on she saw something that both made her worry and made her jaw drop! She saw a large blue colored energy ball fly out from behind a piece of concrete cover and collide and cause a small explosion! Out of reflex Angel quickly used one of her wings to shield her face from debris before quickly stretching out her wings and taking to the air. "Now what's trying to blow up the training arena?"Once high enough in the air Angel spotted a raven haired and violet eyed girl who looked to be about a year or two young then herself who was writing stuff down in a spiral notebook. This made Angel sigh but smile before she used her wings to rush down to the young lady. She then decided to use her soft left wing to gently nudge her before resting both wings gently flat against her back like usual though if Angel ended up sparring with this one she would have to hide her wings under her coat so that they didn't get burned up or make sure to stay clear out of reach. As Angel waited for a response she put her hands behind her back, leaned down and grinned down at the girl and looked her over. As she did she couldn't help but feel like she had seen her from somewhere. "That's quite the powerful and cool looking quirk you got there! You might wanna be a bit more careful though! If you blow too much of the place up before the next actual class starts you are gonna get in trouble! I'm Angelica Surami, but everyone calls me by my hero name Angel for obvious reasons! Have I seen you somewhere before? You look a bit familiar! I totally would like to compare quirks and maybe have a little sparring match?"

--- ARISU --- -better than watching paint dry- The sudden arrival of an angel a classmate turned out to be startling enough to leave Arisu squawking again as she was nudged by what felt like the world's cleanest feather duster. Angel had her at a bit of a disadvantage, and she stared back up at the winged student while she was examined and grinned at.
Powerful? Cool looking? The girl's face scrunched up a little while she tried to decide if Angel was making fun of her or not. She'd heard enough about the quirks that some of the kids at this school had- with certain armored be-cannoned taser-whip having specimens coming immediately to mind- and she'd come to the conclusion that while her quirk was most certainly circumstantially useful, she wasn't at all certain it was as widely applicable and powerful as once she'd hoped. Not that it was slowing her down! Her experiments were bearing fruit, after all- she did know, now, that hard materials would detonate if fractured by a plasma bolt. She was sure there were other materials that would melt or deform instead, preventing the rapid expansion of plasma unchecked by her gas, but that was still a valuable piece of information. And, since that was the only thing Angel had seen... she supposed it was believable that she wasn't just getting made fun of.
All this ran through her head in the space of a heartbeat, after which she nodded to herself apropos of nothing and rose to her feet, offering a polite, if slight, bow. "Ohayo, Surami-san! I am Disukodo Arisu. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance!" She looked at the dust raining slowly down around the chunk of pillar and chuckled nervously. "Eheheh, I thought it'd be okay to try things out on that bit, it was broken when I got here. Not... that broken, obviously... but no worries, I wasn't gonna keep smashing concrete. I'm just trying to get an idea of the potential and constraints of my quirk. I hadn't accounted for heat fractures nor explosive decompression before now, so we're learning..!" For all the information she was offering, she didn't sound super excited about all this. "I'm trying to find ways to use my quirk at less than full blast but I don't think that's chemically possible. I might need some alternatives for non-lethal suppression..."
While Arisu spoke, she started to drift attentionwise, and only snapped back to reality all at once as she remembered she had an audience. "Oh! Sorry! I was- I get to thinking and pffffffff, there goes the airhead, ditzing off into the sunset, ahaha! You said something about- comparing quirks, and maybe a spar?" The dark-haired girl tucked her lower lip between her teeth, chewing nervously. "I don't think that's a super great idea. I mean- you saw what my quirk did to the rocks, right? I don't really have a safe way to use my quirk just to practice. Yours is your wings, right? If I don't use my quirk, I don't think I could even keep up with you, much less reach you all the way in the air. If you want to practice with your toy sword, that's fine, I can let you whack me a few times while I pretend I know what I'm doing, but- I don't know what I'd do if you got burned."

A s Disukodo Arisu introduced herself with a small bow Angel followed suit by bowing in such a way that she used her left wing to stand in for a cape before once again resting against her back. She then thought about the girl's name and decided that it was a bit too long and that a friendly nickname was in order. Before Angel could suggest one Sue-chan began to explain the type of practice she was doing with her quirk. If Angel understood correctly she was trying to see what her quirk was truly capable of while taking notes and saying that she hadn't expected the heat to cause the concrete to expand and explode. This fact made Angel giggle snort because how into her training seemed to be. "Well I can't fault you for dedication Sue-chan! Can I call you Sue-Chan? It sounds so cute! Before I found you I was working on my fencing skills because my quirk is more of a long range offence. I am currently designing a specialized weapon I call the Triple P. It stands for Pretty Powerful Parasol! It's a rapier disguised as a pink parasol. The parasol's pink lace looking cover will actually be made of a special type of spider silk capable of taking small explosions, electrical blasts or air blasts. When closed the tip of the hidden rapier blade is capable of poking out of the top of the parasol,or if I need the entire blade I can flip a secondary switch which will let me pull the parasol's handle from it's dome where the blade is connected! Doesn't that sound creative and awesome!?"Angel grinned from ear to ear and even did a little excited hop in place as she explained her personal weapon that she had designed herself. She truly hoped that her new friend who she found dutifully taking notes about her quirk would approve. Angel wanted to have a weapon that once people saw it they knew it was distinctly hers and no one else's. Through her excitement she remembered how Sue-chan said that she was trying to find a way to use her quirk not at full blast. This caused Angel to scratch her chin as she went deep into thought before snapping her fingers as an idea came to her. "I have a couple ideas about that! What if you tried to make a small shape with your hand or both hands like a triangle or a ring with your fingers and then try and focus what ever makes the explosions around those shapes so that the energy takes that shape? You could also try and make a finger gun motion with your hand and try to focus the aspect of your quirk at the tip of your index finger to shoot it like a sci-fi ray gun. Could even be classified as a special move. If that fails you could always go to the support department and have them design a pair of special gloves or gauntlets that store and help you control your energy output."Luna blushed and rubbed the back of her head with a slightly bashful smile as she realized that like her friend she was getting a bit too excited about the quirk application. "Sorry I'm rambling! Quirk creativity is kind of my thing. It kind of has to be due to the offensive aspect of my mutation."As Sue-Chan said that sparring would be a bad idea because of how her quirk could hurt Angel,Angel just shook her head while wagging her right index finger at her new friend while spreading her wings out wide. "I'm not as fragile as i look! My quirk doesn't just allow me to fly!"Angel then pushed off of the ground and took to the air with ease. Once in the air above her new friend she quickly flew at a high speed around the room while doing spins, loops and spirals to show her maneuverability. She then faced one of the crumbled barriers and flung her left wing forward to launch three feathers which quickly hardened to the density of stone toward the barrier causing both sparks and and shattering of a medium sized chunk of the barrier upon collision. This caused Angel to smile proudly as she turned back to Sue-Chan and looked down at her. "I think i'm more then okay. You'd have to hit me to hurt me and if you close I have my projectile feathers to fight back with. See when I shoot my feathers out of my wings I can harden them to the density of stone. The drawback being that if I use to many I won't be able to fly very well and have to wait a couple days for them to regrow. So, wanna go a round or two?"

--- ARISU --- -better than watching paint dry- It wasn't long before Arisu was treated to Angel bowing back, sweeping one wing like she was a caped gentleman at a ball. It was super elegant, but a bit out of place and Arisu just didn't know how to respond, so she smiled politely, only to be completely thrown when the girl followed up by asking to call her by a nickname. She tilted her head- she'd originally assumed Angel was Japanese due to her last name, but she seemed pretty unfamiliar with the Japanese culture surrounding names. "Umm- well, normally, people call me Disu-san, if they don't want to say my whole family name. If you have to, though, I suppose it's okay!"] She did her best to be cheerful- she always did, what with the dark miasma usually clouding the area around her as her quirk ate up a good half the light nearby.
"Eh?" The girl's head cocked to the side as Angel leapt into analysis and offerings related to her quirk. "I- don't think the shape of my hands matters. I can visualize shapes with my quirk just fine." She looked up, and the area dimmed a little more as a twisting halo of plasma spun itself into being at a jaunty angle over the top of her head with a smile. "See? Shapes and sizes and everything is easy. It's not control I lack, it's options. Plasma only functions at a certain energy level, it's literally defined by such drastic energy that gas molecules become soup through which the energy is passed."
Quirk creativity, huh? That wasn't what Arisu expected to hear in the slightest. "Oh is it? I've never really been able to use my quirk on anything safely, so I don't much know where its limits are. That's what I'm doing here." On the topic of limits, as Angel showed off her feathers, Arisu bit at her lip, looking uncomfortable. "I- listen, I get that you're cool and tough and all, but I just blew up a rock and I have no idea what this stuff will do to human bodies- and I don't think I want to get stabbed by feathers either! I really think we should save stuff like that for when we have teachers and medics present. This is as exciting to me as it is you, but hurting each other with nobody around is not a smart way to explore, you know? I don't want to get in trouble my first month here, and one of us will be in trouble if someone gets hurt without a teacher around. I know that much!"

A ngel tapped her chin thoughtfully as Sue explained how the whole naming thing worked. Angel was Japanese herself and so she knew how it worked she just didn't really care for the old stuffy way that people chose to do things. Angel chose to live life on her own current of wind and go through the different clouds of life and make shapes as she went along because it made life more fun that way! Angel just smiled a big smile at her new friend Sue. "I'm Japanese too silly! I know how the whole naming convention works I just think it's kinda old school ya know? I totally respect how people used to do things, but we should totally be able to shape this new world and come up with our own traditions and conventions don't you think Sue?"As Sue began to explain to her that the shape of her hands weren't the problem but the level of energy needed for the plasma to work Angel tapped her chin like she did when she was intently focused and trying to understand something. So she was just testing out her quirk to see what all it could really do given a durable arena? That was pretty clever! As Sue made a pretty plasma halo that quickly faded Angel couldn't help but clap happily. "I'll do my very best to help however I can Sue! No one should have to study so hard all by themselves especially if they have a friend willing to help them out!"Angel in her excitement through her fist into the air,but then noticed how uncomfortable her new friend looked and realized that it was all her fault! Angel in order to try and make things right quickly flew back down and moved to give Sue a big warm hug going as far as to wrap her soft wings around her for a moment. Once the hug was over Angel stepped back and listened to Sue's concerns of them not hurting each other without a teacher present. To this Angel nodded looking super concerned that she maybe ruined her new friendship. "You're totally right! Both of our quirks are kind of dangerous! I just get super excited at the thought of pushing my quirk to its limits against a quirk I've never faced before! I'm sorry I upset you please forgive me and be my friend! I have another idea of what we could do for joined training. We could have a hand to hand sparring match to test out our normal fighting skills and reflexes and after that I could launch my feathers toward the wall and you could try and hit them with your plasma before they collide with it! What do you think!?"Angel once again grinned from ear to ear at her new friend and gave her a thumbs up hoping that she liked the second idea for training better! Angel truly wanted to see what Sue could really do normally and with her quirk! "For all we know we could end up getting paired up in a training excercise together if you are also in class A. It makes sense that we should know what each other can do!"

--- ARISU --- -better than watching paint dry- "I mean, sure, new traditions are great, but new names are-" Arisu fell quiet, trying to find the words to express why that felt strange to her. "-it's not the same, is all. I'm not sure how to explain!" Next was a quick and energetic offer to help, which left her canting her head and tapping at her chin. "I certainly appreciate the offer, but I'm not entirely sure what help I need. I'm still learning the limits of my quirk itself, specific advancements might be best saved for after I nail down the basics."
It seemed, however, that her concerns about hurting each other had worried Angel, and before she knew it, the girl was all up on her in a hug, which she returned as best she could, being wrapped in arms and wings. "I like the thought of growing stronger, too, but I want to do it the right way, with a trail of friends and growth behind me- not corpses and graves, you know? I want to build everyone else up with me, not burn through everyone at hand and move on to new targets and practice grounds. Hand to hand, though..." she mused, then nodded. "That sounds lovely. I mean, I have no idea what to do, and you'll probably get more out of it than me, but that's fine- as long as we get to do target practice after, because that sounds super useful!"

A ngel smiled excitedly as her new friend explained how she was still working on the basics of her quirk and that she wasn't quite ready to work on the advanced stuff yet. This just pumped up Angel even more leading her to throw her fist up into the air with excitement as she thought about how she had helped her friend Kutsu not only find new applications for his plushy quirk but even choose a super hero name for his future as a plushy pro hero! Angel knew that if she gave it her all then she could accomplish anything even helping others rise to their full potential. "You so got this! You're super smart so I have no doubt that you'll figure it out,and I'll be here to help you out all I can even though my quirk deals more with physics! We so got this!"As Sue began to explain how she also wanted to grow stronger, but wanted to do so in the right way by building on the trail of friends and experiences that she had made along the way Angel tapped her chin once more as she thought about all of the connections she never thought she'd make during the first year at U.A high! She thought about the powerful Jasmine Nior, the shy Kutsu Ito, the bashful Chise Ishihara, the eccentric Farrah Di Prima and her new and healing roommate chikako safaia and how they in some way or another had impacted her as an individual and helped her grow as a person. "I totally get what you mean! Training grounds can be rebuilt, but the bonds we forge are precious and should be treated with care! You really are smart!"As Sue said that hand to hand combat sounded lovely, but that Angel would probably get more out of it then her and then said that was fine as long as they did target practice after Angel nodded with a big grin. She then used her wings to fly over to the other side of the arena and began to stretched just a little and flex her wings. It was always important to be limber before combat! "We totally can do target practice after! You may not get a lot out of hand to hand physically, but I'm sure you can get something out of it mentally for your notebook! You see even when I'm fighting on the ground in a hand to hand scenario I use my wings as counter weights to keep me balanced as I move around as well as use them to add momentum to my attacks and agility to my movements. Even the slightest flex or alteration of my feathers changes my trajectory."Once stretched out Angel slammed her fists together with a pumped up grin and then entered her boxing looking fighting stance. "I'm gonna come at you with everything I've got Sue!"As Angel broke into a run toward her new friend she gave her wings a single backwards flap to push her forward, add moment and speed to close the gap much quicker. As the gap closed Angel quickly flapped her right wing toward the wall to aid her in a spin to Sue's left side where she would duck down and try to use her right leg to sweep her friend off her feet. "Better hope your reaction time is up to snuff!"

--- ARISU --- -better than watching paint dry- It was simultaneously delightful and depressing to see how much energy Angel could muster to just be excited about things. It was downright exhausting to try to be as cheerful as Arisu normally did. She tried hard, aware of the sort of image that throwing black fire around tended to have on her public image, and the cheery demeanor she put on did a lot to diffuse that... but only so much. It was hard not to be jealous. "Eheheh, I am pretty clever, aren't I?" She did consider herself pretty smart, but all told, she wasn't sure how to take the compliments Angel showered on her. At the very least, she agreed to the target practice after the fight, which was a little exciting all on its own! "Okay, then! Whenever you're ready, we can get started!" Following that, Angel offered some insight into how she used her wings as counterweights in her melee combat, leaving Arisu thinking intently. Could she do something like that with her own quirk? She wasn't sure, but if she could manage even some weak propulsion, she bet she could do something. Shortly after that, though, Angel was blitzing into her face and jagging to the side to slash her legs out from beneath her with a sweeping kick! In her distraction, Arisu was completely unprepared, and dropped like a sack of potatoes. She didn't stay down, though, rapidly rolling back and onto her knees so she could stand again, refocusing and snapping her arms up into a boxer's guard. Dark flame wisped around her hands for a split second before she remembered she wasn't supposed to be using her quirk like that, and darted in on foot, throwing a right jab at Angel, whipping her fist back to protect her head in a heartbeat. She was paying attention and aware that Angel wasn't going to rely strictly on her hands- that trick wouldn't catch her off guard again!

A ngel found herself smirking as not only had her initial attack landed causing Sue to drop, but upon falling her friend and foe quickly got up off her knees and back to her feet and into a boxing stance showing that she wasn't willing to give up and that she had pretty good reaction time. Once Arisu got into her boxing stance Angel quickly planted her feet firm. This was going to be more fun then she thought it was. "Very good Sue! You have a pretty quick mental and physical recovery time and that can sometimes decide the outcome of a fight! Just make sure to not let yourself get to distracted! fighting hand to hand is a lot like using our quirks on the regular! You gotta be able to split your attention evenly among the different aspects of a fight. It's like when I'm flying. I not only have to pay attention to my surroundings, but also my energy output and the specific movement of my wing muscles! You gotta push yourself until it becomes second nature!"As Sue prepared to go on the offensive Angel raised an eyebrow as for a split second Sue had subconsciously activated her quirk in her hands as a defensive mechanism before shutting it off, rushing in and throwing a quick right jab. Angel in response quickly held out her right forearm in front of her face to take the blow allowing the small amount of pain from the attack to register with a smirk and watched as Sue pulled her fist back. "Good job with the quirk restraint! There will be times where for what ever reason we'll be unable to use our quirks in combat, like for example if we were in a smaller room I'd be unable to stretch out my wings to fly or attack. It's always best to try and be at least a little well rounded be it with your fists or a weapon! Now let's see how you handle my next attack!"Angel grinned wide and quickly rushed in toward Sue to close the small gap that had been placed between them before stepping her right foot forward hard to try and make her foe think she was going in for another kick to hopefully get her to defend her right side so that as she through a hard left cross toward Sue's left cheek it would go unprotected, deal damage and make her stagger back. Angel due to the limitations put on her by her disability and hearing aids had to learn to get creative with close quarters combat so that she could keep her foes not only guessing, but from dealing blows to her head.

--- ARISU ---
Angel was clearly having quite a lot of fun, but Arisu was struggling- first, to keep up with the strange ways Angel could move, and second, with the sheer fun the other girl seemed to take in her control of the fight. It wasn't that she'd really expected much else, as far as results went, but it was very difficult not to feel like the positivity was condescending. It was a lot of talking for a spar, and reminded her of the old Power and Responsibility series, the one about the superheroes that predicted quirks before they came about for real. During a clash between two halves of one force, one of the youngest spent the whole fight talking, and immediately got called out for chattering too much. She felt much the same way, but to say it out loud felt rude.
Angel seemed more than able to block her jab without much effort, and Arisu's hand snapped back to her cheek to repair her guard as she tried to get a read for how Angel preferred to defend herself. As she was trying to figure what the winged girl had planned, Angel slammed forward as if to launch another kick. The worst thing she could do would be to try to move back or hold her ground- either option would let Angel control how her kick landed, and she had no intention of dropping her guard from around her head for a kick. Instead, she lunged forward, dropping her right hand to throw a heavy strike towards Angel's belly, the maneuver intended to turn what would have been a bruising blow into a glancing bump from Angel's thigh. However, the kick never came- instead, Angel threw a punch from the other side! Arisu hadn't dropped her guard on that side, though, and the boxer's guard worked beautifully, letting her shove the incoming blow just past her face instead of impacting as planned, and a moment later, both her hands were snapping back into place to protect her head out of reflex.
Arisu didn't seem at all the talkative sort in a fight, fully engaged mentally with play and counterplay, finding ways to react to committed actions to reduce impact and looking for tells indicating new threats. She was certainly listening to what Angel was saying, but she'd have to wait for later to get a reaction.

A risu truly was clever! She must have begun to realize that aside from trying to be helpful toward her friend she was also talking as much as she could to try and keep Sue's calculating mind busy. Angel had figured out straight away just by seeing Sue take physical notes about her own quirk and listening to her talk about the scientific application that the girl was extremely suited to problem solving and pattern recognition which meant that the longer the fight went on the more likely it was that Angel would lose. As Angel's fist connected with Sue's arm the winged girl was momentarily proud up until she felt her friend's fist collide with her stomach knocking the wind out of her and causing her knees to begin to grow feeble as if they were gonna cave under her. To prevent this from happening Angel quickly spread her wings as wide as she could and then gave one hard flap in Sue's direction to push Angel herself back away from her opponent. As she skidded backwards across the floor and came to a stop she forced herself to stand strong and force air back into her lungs resulting in a hard cough. "Good move..capitlizing on an opening a foe left to deal heavy damage! Very smart of you!"Once Angel took a few deep breaths she relaxed her wings against her back once more and began to rush Sue with a new plan in mind. It was clear that she was expecting a full frontal assault and so Angel would have to mix things up at the last possible moment! Once Angel got closer to her new friend and sparring partner she quickly threw two quick lefts and then a right so that hopefully Sue would keep her guard right in front of her as to finish off her combo Angel spread her wings just enough to let enough air under them to give her a bit of air as she jumped straight up, curled her body into a ball including her wings so that she would drop back down fast and as she did Angel straightened herself out with her right leg outstretched to hopefully collide with the top of Sue's right shoulder for one of her brand new improvised moves! "Heavenly drop!"

--- arisu --- - enough of your flappery! -
The dull thud of Angel's fist impacting on Arisu's arm left an ache in its wake, one she did her best to ignore. A moment later, wind slammed to either side of her, pushing her back a step or two as the winged girl threw herself backwards, buying time to fight air back into her lungs while Arisu struggled to hold her balance.
Angel was in her face a moment later, and true to form, Arisu kept to the boxer's creed of protecting the head above all else. Left, right, left, blows smacked across her guard, without too much force thanks to the rapidity preventing putting swivelling follow-through to each blow, but it did its job- Arisu fended off one, two, three hits, trying to find room to push forward and claim some ground to further reduce Angel's control of their battle!
Before Arisu had much time to really process, Angel was in the air, and once there- or, more precisely, once she started the sharp, rapid rotation- there were only so many ways it could play out. Swallowing a groan as her forearms sang in bruises down her forearms as she whipped both up and over her head, watching for the tell of whatever limb Angel planned to scythe down at her. When Angel's leg slashed down towards her shoulder, Arisu shoved upwards and caught the blow in the crook of her crossed forearms, only to be shoved to her knees by the blow.
Hissing at the sharper pain from the nastier blow radiating down her arms, Arisu tried to follow up before Angel could get her leg away. She forced her arms to move, pushing closer, attempting to wrap both arms around Angel's leg and dive forward, intending to shove the other girl's leg up and against her chest as her weight carried them both to the ground! That was the second time Angel had weaponized her mobility- Arisu's attempt was designed to pull that advantage off the table!

A ngel thought that she had once the fight once she felt her leg connect with Sue's arms and felt her friends body lower as if to lose strength, but once she tried to back off and get back to her feet she found herself unable to get out of Sue's grasp and before she knew it she was having her other foot pulled out from under her by both her own weight and her friends which sent Angel slamming down onto her back on the hard cement floor. Luckily for her however she managed to spread out her wings flat so that they didn't get crushed though she once again felt as if she had the air knocked out of her. "Oof! Okay you totally win! You found the weakness in my fighting strategy! If I get pinned on my back and can't get my wings to move I can't get up! I surrender!"Once a few moments had passed Angel used her free leg to very gently nudge Sue's hand off of her leg so that she could roll over and stand up. Once standing Angel flexed her wings for a moment and rubbed her shoulders. It seemed that on her way down she had slightly landed on one of her wing bones and so now it was hurting a bit. It was nothing a night with a heating patch or a pack of ice wouldn't fix however. Once her wings were nice and stretched out she rested them against the back of her coat and offered Sue a hand up. "I'm sorry if I went a bit to rough! I'll totally make it up to you with a batch of cookies and some target practice! Are you still up for that or do ya need a rest!? I will totally share the lunch I brought with me with you!"Angel smiled and quickly used her wings to float over to where she sat her lunch box, picked it up and then brought it back over with a big smile. She then opened it up to show it's context of a couple chocolate bars,a peanut butter sandwich and a can of Cluck Cola. She truly didn't mind sharing her lunch with a new friend and sparring partner. As she held out her lunch box she looked at her new friend honestly being a bit worried that she hurt her. "I'm really sorry if I hurt you too bad! I forget to mind my own strength sometimes when i get excited! Can we still be friends?"
