APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Appearance is rather simple for Arvis. He wears cloths that he likes, and clothing that will fit his large physique. His hair is mostly maintained, though the blond locks tend to come out wild and appear unkempt. It rolls down a little past his neck, with the back being the longest length, and the front being kept a bit shorter.
Probably the most notable features of the 21 year old is his surprising size, both in muscle mass and height. Arvis believes that, despite his constant training and hard work, it is a side effect of the quirk he was given.
Arvis has a rather imposing appearance, mostly because of his size, but he really is warm if you simply speak with him at a respected level. He has been called handsome also, and even drawn in the 'bad boy' crowd during his days at school with the Belmont's because of his past. These comments, while flattering to a degree, were largely embarrassing to the once street miscreant, and he generally tries to make himself more known for his actions and personality then his looks. Easier said than done though...
His favorite color is cyan, much like his eyes, but he also like lime green, auburn, black and indigo. This mostly shows through his clothing.

Personality:
Much like his appearance, Arvis personality is fairly straightforward. You treat him with respect, he will likely treat you with respect. At face value, both his appearance and quiet composure might cause some to feel a tense vibe from him, Arvis is actually humble and mannered unless spurred on otherwise. One aspect of Arvis that hasn't changed over the years is his skepticism, something he has picked up over the years dealing with crooks and low lives. However, he can read people fairly well, and is generally only blind-sided by those that he has put a great deal of faith into.
Arvis has gained an appreciation of the high class, mostly regarding food over the people, and enjoys the skill and effort put into most high end dishes. His love for humble meals in purely nostalgic, as it reminds him of 'Momma Angel's' dishes from his days in poverty. Among other hobbies are watching movies (especially action), Anything rock from America (Rock, Metal, ect.), and helping fix up vehicles and drive them, something that he picked up from his adopted family, the Belmont's.
One of Arvis' most defined features is his fury, something that can unleash itself on the tip of a hat. Though he has controlled himself growing up, his quirk has made itself more and more dominant in his body, making the mood swings more frequent and more noticeable. As long as he isn't furious over something, Arvis can generally maintain his composure, even if his quirk accidentally unleashed itself. However, if enraged, there is little to stop the blind vigilante.
As a vigilante, Arvis is nothing like his brother. He is quiet and speaks little unless provoked. He focuses on nothing but defeating the criminal, and then fleeing the scene. The less people know about his past or his identity, the better, and he was never one to wish to savor the lime light either. Keeping to night and darkness, it is the only time he can more easily hide his quirk, though there is only so much he can do when getting involved with crime. Fighting, Arvis can be described as a storm. Relentless and powerful, his focus is steadfast. The same can't be said about Primal Fury though, which is wild and easily distracted.
Arvis is in a current state of waywardness, unsure of what his life means anymore. This means he is at a crossroads, and while he believes he is doing right by fighting crime and trying to stop others from being affected like he was, it is fully possible for others to get close to the lost 21 year old, only to bring him to their cause. Arvis is generally fickle by his animalistic nature, but will fight for what he believes is right. If he knows he is being manipulated, you can be sure that you are Arvis' next target.

HISTORY
(This history is tied to Roy Belmont who is played by Dessen. Both of us have exchanged permissions for our respective characters.)
Arvis from birth was a bit of an enigma. Though it is unclear when exactly he was born, it suspected to be at some point in the Spring season of 2051. A large, cloaked male on one stormy night franticly rushed into a run down, but still standing clinic within a impoverished part of Queens, New York. Despite the man being stopped to be questioned, the panic seemed to much as he left behind a bundle without a word and fled before anybody could stop him. That bundle was, of course, a young baby Arvis. Though nobody knows what the man was fleeing from, it is clear he could not care for the child himself. The staff, now with a unattended child and unsure of what to do, were prepared to contact authorities. However, because of complications regarding the clinic meant that the police might get the wrong impression and try to find reasons to dig.
A kind soul though, an elderly woman whom was a regular of the clinic, offered to take the child herself. The staff, not sure what else to do, agreed, knowing that the woman was well known amongst the citizens of the area as "Momma Angel", was the 'guardian' of many of the orphans or homeless children of the district. Without opposition, the gladly accepted in order to avoid the authorities involvement.
Growing up, Arvis lived among several 'siblings', learning that things were not meant to be easy. What started as care because of his age quickly flipped to harsh lessons in reality. He was essentially homeless, save for the small cul de sac that all the poor and homeless resided. Not so much houses, but the shacks served as a roof over their heads, and a 'safe haven' for the children to spend what little free time they had playing and horsing around. However, out of everyone that was a resident of the district, one stood out as a beacon for Arvis. Leo Pasqualone, the oldest of the homeless youngsters, though he trumped most by many years. The nineteen year old was the grandson of 'Momma Angel' apparently, or at least he acted as such, and served as a overseer to the area when 'Momma' had to remain at the clinic or in bed.
Leo did everything Arvis looked up to. He taught those that wished to learn, but basic knowledge and street smarts. He looked and acted cool. He stood up for those to weak for themselves, and would even fore go meals if it meant others were fed. The young Arvis was even given his name by Leo, saying that it was his great grandfathers name, though he never actually provided proof as such. Regardless, the story always fascinated Arvis, whom wished to learned all he could.
It was one of the few things the impoverished child looked forward to, along with 'Momma Angel's' homemade meals when they actually managed to scrape together enough food to make one. It was like a party on those nights. Everybody seemed so happy, even through the struggles and strife.
It wasn't all good times though. Leo was strict with his morals, and while Arvis strongly followed them, not all the children or others did. Stealing and harming other children was against the rules, as was those with quirks. Though Arvis had only heard rumors of such bizarre people, he himself had never seen or met one. Stealing what isn't needed was also against his code. Leo was very much embodied the saying of 'A thief with a code of honor'. However, as time went on, and the children grew, it was harder to maintain and control said kids, and what started as simple rough housing turned into straight up street fights.
One day, however, Leo just...vanished. People in the area made rumors regarding his disappearance, some crime related, while others a targeted attack or even simply up and leaving. The now teenage Arvis knew deep down, it was the troublemakers in the group that wanted him gone. Wanted to create a lawless band that could steal what they wanted, and beat-up anybody that tread on their turf. While Arvis continued to follow his brother Leo's code, it only earned the ire of the other teens that now saw him as a reminder of the elder, and worse still, an outsider. Arvis became regularly attacked, but after lashing out one attack while defending himself, he broke the rivals arm with a single kick and gave himself an image of imposing threat. The group accused his rage filled kick as the work of a quirk, but there was never any evidence that it was such, and Arvis moved on with his life, striving to hone himself on the unforgiving streets.
It wasn't until a day like any other, when at the age of 14, Arvis and his fellow street rats were scouting the city streets for possible hits on food to snag that he noticed a rather particular scene that struck a cord with Arvis. The teen noticed band of thugs, the same band of thugs with spat in Leo's legacy and his face, corning a boy not unlike his or their own age. Based on the boys appearance, Arvis was unsure why he chose to come to such a seedy area of the city, but it was the outskirts, and Arvis didn't need a reason. What he did have though was rage. Wrath and anger against those that would defy one of their most honor bound rules. Despite being largely outnumbered, Arvis did the only thing the wild animal knew how to do. Fight, and survive.
Before Arvis could think of what he was getting himself into, the teenage boy launched himself into a frenzy, slugging and laying into the punks, causing some of the ones that were tagging along with Arvis to flee. In his red tinted fury, Arvis noticed that the once defenseless boy that he had chosen to aid had shown that he had bite himself, joining Arvis in the brawl. Giving it their all, and against all odds, the two had managed to both fend off and beat down all who opposed them, though through a thread of both their lives. The two injured boys stood tall, victorious over their foes, even if their goals couldn't be more different.
However, the sound of alarms and the sight of police sent Arvis into a panic. He wasn't sure why they had shown up, but he could be sure that it wouldn't end well for him if he was caught. Attacking several people and beating them unconscious, along with many in the area knowing of his stealing and juvenile acts would easily be used against him. Arvis did the only thing his young mind believed was right. He fled. Down the alleys and streets, he ran with all his might.
Arvis had made distance, but eventually, even with his adrenaline, he could only get so far with the numerous injuries he sustained and his malnourished body. The cops were well trained, and the youth was apprehended swiftly. The young Arvis believed this to be his end, much like his idol Leo. However, he was given something of shred of hope. The young boy he helped in the streets, whom he found out was known as Roy, spoke in his defense. For the first time in Arvis' life, someone had stood up for the street cretin, and the feeling was something he couldn't believe. It was no dream though, and something shocked Arvis even more than being defended.
The boys parents, known as Vinnie and Paulie Belmont, offered to take in the young Arvis after much debate. Arvis was hesitant of the offer, his fight or flight and loner nature screaming in his mind that everything about this seemed off. Why would they risk themselves? The concept baffled the imprisoned Arvis, but something lit up in Arvis' mind. The family, though he knew nothing of them, had something in them that Arvis saw in Leo. Their espressions and attitude. It was just like his, and they were giving Arvis another chance. Another life, just like Leo and his grandmother had done for him.
Arvis didn't have a choice regardless, as he couldn't go back to those that he retaliated against, so he agreed, even though it was still jarring for the young man.
The following two years were something of a rebirth for Arvis. Living in a new, lavish life style, his fairly wealthy family had everything he once struggled to even get slivers of. Food, money, shelter, a bed. This new life had everything he could possible want. Enough so that it made the once quiet and feral child a much more humble, stand up citizen. More important to him than anything was his new found education, something that his new family could provide, and Arvis graciously accepted. Though the climb in learning everything he had missed in the years prior was a struggle, it was made easier by his new brother Roy and the Japan native daughter, Rain, of the family the Belmont's had a connection with, the Amano's.
The three became close, spending the next two years challenging each other mentally and with his brother, the two also competed physically. It was an even struggle, but one that Arvis couldn't help but look forward to. Even through the jeers and gossip surrounding his prior life when he was going to the same school Roy went to, he was able to shut it all out and live the life he could only believe as a distant wish.
That was, until he discovered something he never believed. Almost instinctively, one evening on his way home from school along with Roy and their family friend Rain, he told them to head home without him. Though he said it was because he forgot something at school, it was a lie. To be honest, he wasn't sure why, but he found himself near an abandoned gas station. In an alley nearby, he stood still, listening carefully. The 16 year old's mind was clear and almost mindlessly following a sound until he made it to a part of the wall of the no longer occupied building.
Arvis lifted his palm and speared it forward into the stone structure, piercing it nearly effortlessly. Arvis quickly retracted his palm, holding a large, and obviously over fed rat that shrieked and writhed in a mix of panic and anger at Arvis. The teenager stared blankly at the animal, almost like he savored it's suffering. It was like a toy to him. Though what really made him lavish in the fat rats fear was what caused him to approach the spot to begin with. A pair of tiny, screeching kittens that seemed to have stowed away in fear of the creature, were likely to be it's next meal.
The thought reminded Arvis of himself, struggling in his earlier life, but eventually rising to the top of the food chain. Though if there was anything that disgusted Arvis more than attacking children is gluttony, in any shape or form. What started as a blank stare slowly morphed into wicked joy as Arvis slowly started squeezing the life from the large rat. The creature started to bite his hand in a frantic attempt at escape, yet it only drove Arvis to grip harder, not feeling the harm to his hand. The heartbeat, the writhing, it all felt...natural.
In a seconds notice, Arvis crushed the rat with a powerful clench, feeling its life and bones shatter within his grasp. However, when he snapped to, it was more than that. His body didn't feel his own, and most of all, a tail swung from behind him, an odd feeling for somebody that has never known such a feeling. The transformatino brought fear to Arvis, not having a clue of what was happening. However, their was one that witnessed the whole incident. The Belmont's business ally and Rain's father, Souma Amano.
Though Arvis still has no idea why he was there that day, the man informed him of what the blond lad was going through. It was a quirk, though he knew not of its specifics. He explained all he could. About quirks. About the prejudice they are succumb to...and the power they are capable of. His words were strong, and filled Arvis with doubt and worry. If he was some kind of weapon or monster, and he's had these bouts of rage before, what was to stop him from attacking again? Or worse...his family?
That was when Mr. Amano offered an option. The man had experience in training quirks, and suggested coming back overseas with the car manufacturer. The thought of leaving everything behind again caused Arvis to become depressed as he started to go silent and shut in once more. However, when the time came when Souma would be returning to Tokyo again from his business trip, Arvis didn't feel he had an option. He feared for his families life, and even more for this supposed quirk he had reveled inside himself.
Without a word, not telling any of his departure, he packed his things and left with Souma for Tokyo, only mentioning to Rain that it was part of a 'Cultural study'. Arvis found himself starting anew, again, in an unfamiliar setting. Despite this, he continued his studies and adapted fairly easily to the lifestyle and change, using what Rain had taught him and Roy of Japan to his advantage. With the Amano's aid, he found his life not to different from the previous one.
This was, until Souma brought his quirk back up. It was clear the man wish to use it to his benefit, but didn't want to announce to the public he had a quirk user under his roof, as reputation regarding quirkers was still sketchy. Instead, he used Arvis' knowledge regarding car repair and his physique doing various choirs and task. Task that Arvis knew was peon work, but was something he felt indebted to the man for, considering he was sheltering him and protecting him from outside prejudice.
At least, that is what he believed. In the years that followed, more and more signs hinted Arvis that he was doing more than just aiding Souma in his work. The car repairs? They were stealing parts and the entire car manufacturing business was an elaborate chop shop. Aiding physical labor and being a body guard for the father figure? God knows what he had been ferrying and Arvis could only assume he was protecting Souma from bad news heading his way. Every person Arvis thought he was roughing up was some kind of thug or criminal. The reality hit hard. Souma was the criminal. He worked under somebody else, and Arvis was another cog in his engine. The Japanese business man had little intention of aiding in Arvis' quirk control, and instead was using it for his own personal gain. The thought sickened the young man.
Arvis had no time to wallow about it, as when he decided to confront Souma on the matter, the man pleaded for his life. The cowering man had apparently gotten in far to deep, and the once hard, stoic figure fell into one of sniveling, sobbing weakness. Arvis wanted nothing to do with it, but what stopped him from leaving the man was one of the closest friends he had. Rain. The Belmont's were the only other ones he could trust, but Rain was the one person besides his adopted family if felt he was betraying. By leaving Souma, it would mean Rain losing her father. The thought twisted in Arvis like a dagger, and he agreed to aid the pathetic mess of a man.
It turned out to be nothing but another ploy. When the men busted in to attack the man, Souma's attitude changed. He had hired the men, and they weren't coming for him, they were coming after Arvis. For what reason, the 19 year old could not know, but when his fight or flight instincts kicked in, and seeing as Souma betrayed him once again...he lost all control.
Arvis warped his body to become merged with a ferocious, savage Carnotaurus, losing all sense of himself. Their weapons did nothing but scrape against his skin, though the few gunshots that hit dug into his body painfully. However, his rage wouldn't let them get away with their deeds, and he attacked each and every one of them till they could no longer fight back. The only thing holding him back was his lack of control over his quirk and newfound body, otherwise Arvis likely would have brutalized them. When all the criminal thugs were bested, all that remained was Souma, who once face and tried to act innocent.
Done with his games, he repeatedly attacked the man, more so than any of the previous goons. Something in Arvis clicked though, and his conscious returned mid way through the attack. This was just like the rat. Whatever he had become, had caused him to go berserk. The very reason why he had decided to aid Souma was the reason the man almost died. Not unlike the past, Arvis had no sense of what to do. He fled the scene of violence, knowing that the crime would be placed on him if he remained.
Gathering his things once again after the retreat, Arvis had his sustained wounds treated, thankful that the transformation caused the bullets to not hit vital organs. However, it didn't stop the pain or regret of letting this all happen. He would have to move to a different location, and hid his identity to all once again. Not even Rain must know. Nobody was to be informed of his quirk either, and Arvis later learned of Souma's hospitalization, though the man did something beyond what Arvis expected. He didn't bring the young man up. It was likely because the man feared the possibilities of media being drawn to the crime ring that he was a part of, or perhaps that he was harboring a quirk criminal. Either way, Arvis faded to obscurity, and the news depicted the event as a 'planned criminal attack on a CEO'.
For the next year and few months, hitting the age of 21, Arvis has tried living on the down low. Getting a mundane job as a driver, he lives day to day with the two kittens that he rescued that one fateful day, both named Boey and Mae, he spends his time trying to keep his mind off of the endeavors around him. Arvis, however, can't help but notice that Souma was hardly the only one wrapped in the criminal underworld. Time was spent in mostly secrecy, in addition to honing his body and mind, was also spent in tandem to cooperate with this entity known as Primal Fury. It would be, and was, a difficult hill to climb, as the quirk was almost it's own living being. However, one thing was clear to Arvis, and something that his quirk brought to light.
Japan seemed rife with quirkers, much like himself, and just as many criminals. Arvis knew nothing of UA or its purpose, but he knew of the heroes that fought against the darkness of Japan. He saw hope in them, and hope in himself. Arvis knew, deep inside, that he could control the monster within him. His moral code would be his guide. The one created from Leo Pasqualone and the Belmont's. The ones that kept him going and kept him on the path of humanity. It was the seal to his quirk, and he would need it in these trying times.
Arvis must aid in the control of the city. Even if it means himself being viewed as a villain one day, he must not let people like Souma Amano control the city. Both quirkers and civilians would suffer, and then it would not be a war on quirks. It would be a war against both right and wrong. Arvis would fight, and he would win. He had to, lest he loses control once again...
