Corruption & Conflict, Birth of Heroes credited to Fluffy
On the the 7th of October, at the temporary military base near the city of Musutafu, the Semper Fi encampment, several incidents have transpired. In particular of note are the events that unfolded inside the Armory of the base. Our reporters of Tokyo NVN have interviewed various eyewitnesses who report that it all began when the military personnel started to arrest civilians at a rapid and aggressive pace. Although no official statement has been made by the military yet, reports suggest that it was an unprovoked act of discrimination against Quirk wielders. The tensions escalated beyond the military's control, when a soldier tried to subdue a Yuuei student, known as Chimera, who possessed goat-like features. Fortunately, we've received insider information, as one of the military men was willing to speak out against the injustice that befell quirkers at the camp. Sergeant First Class Sasaki Akira; "Unreasonable demands were made by the soldiers at the camp, very clearly discriminated against quirk users. In addition, my own daughter had vanished admist the chaos. I was ordered to let her disappearance stand. Which parent worth their salt would've let their daughter be alone in such a situation?" Sasaki Akira, upon witnessing the grave injustice, decided to team up with the quirk users, in an effort to bring the situation under control.
In an effort to rescue the civilians and get an overview of the situation, a student stood out in particular; Alexander Deraine. Sasaki's daughter largely credited her livelihood and her safety to this one man. Despite a broken faith and a broken leg, he managed to earn her trust - and now, after the fact, her appreciation as a hero. A hero that, according to sources attempted to communicate with the armed forces, to assure them that he was no threat, only to receive a hail of bullets as the reply. In the meanwhile, additional students joined the effort of getting the situation under control. Hino Yojin, cooperating with the same Chimera we mentioned earlier, provided support and comfort. Together, they acquired the the assistance of Sasaki Akira, who was commandeering a tank at the time. In this situation, any ordinary person would've asked to be brought to safety. Not Yojin, nor Chimera. Their joy in seeing the tank as an ally, wasn't for their own sakes. It was the sheer desire to help the wounded civilians who had been unjustly attacked by the military. Within both of these individuals, burns the spirit of heroism. My sincerest thanks to you. The final student in the area was Risaka Reinacht. A girl that, despite the mayhem and chaos around her, kept thinking on her feet. Disguises, utilizing the armory's layout and displayed weaponry and armor, springing into action to protect her friends when they overstepped their boundaries, attempting to bring them back into line. While Risaka was not particularly the leader that brought this group together, she showcased a cool head during even the toughest moments.

Were the students perfect in their task? Far from it. Several lives were lost, several injuries sustained, several mistakes. They were still learning, and they still have a long road ahead of them. However, after seeing what they were capable of with their quirks, after Yuuei had only been opened for half a year, has impressed. It is my hope that you, my dear readers, will be there to support them in this coming time. Let them know that their hard work, their sacrifices, their pain and suffering, made a difference.
On that day, the ones who truly fought to protect the security, livelyhood and lives of the Japanese citizens, were the heroes at Yuuei.
