A few weeks after the incidents at Semper Fi, the student (and teacher) of Class 1-B would find a sheet of paper stuck to the wall beside the door.♔Ohaiyo! Nobody here seems to want us all to meet up! I can only guess that’s why you guys haven’t taken all your new students out yet! It looks like I’ll have to do it myself. I’ve booked us all a table at Atlantis, tomorrow night. Everybody*! That includes you, teach! If you haven’t heard of it, just know that it’s AMAZING! And it’s seafood. And a little fancy. Look up the directions. Dress code is smart casual or up, and if you don’t look good, they won’t let you in! It’s only polite to come – it’s free food, you’re being invited, and it’s not cheap, so don’t make me waste my money and time! We’ve got lots to talk about, and the sooner we get to it the better.
See you there! Emi Ryoko Tachibana
*Except Freeman Dexter and Izumi Yusaku Musutafu didn’t have the same allure as Tokyo, but there were plenty of places to burn money, if one knew where to look. If one happened to spend a large portion of their lives amongst the city’s well-to-do, some of those places may have been mentioned to them in passing. That was how one of 1-B’s latest students had come to learn of Atlantis. An underground eatery next to a boutique mall, the restaurant had one gimmick to set it apart. It’s main dining hall was surrounded by giant aquariums, giving its patrons the illusion of eating underwater.
The entrance to the place was, by constraint, nondescript. A simple door with the restaurant’s name led to an elevator, which took the guests to a hallway watched over by a classy hostess. Once they explained whose party they had come for, the lady would happily lead them into the main hall (assuming they were well-dressed, in which case their meeting would be brief, curt, and end with them being sent away).
If the premise of Atlantis, didn’t clue its latest visitors in to its status, perhaps its clientele would do the trick. Wealthy (and mostly foreign) families came for a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and businessmen fresh out of work came to flaunt their wealth to their peers. Plenty of both could be seen enjoying the scenery and food, which made the restaurant’s newest patrons more than a little out of place.
Emi had done her best to fit in, but even a lone teenager looked strange in a fine dining establishment. From her place at the centre of a curved couch, she gained the occasional curious stare from practically every other table in the place, but she didn’t mind. She was dressed for the occasion, looked beautiful (as always) and was ready for her peers to arrive. As far as she was concerned, they were staring for all the right reasons – because she was different, and somebody different. Special.
The other students would, likewise, find themselves with extra eyes upon them, mainly because of their age. For those few that were more obviously ‘gifted’ with a quirk, some of those stares became glares. Nobody was brave enough to do much more than look, thankfully, but the attention may have been hard to miss. Emi, either oblivious or uncaring, raised a hand as they entered the hall, beckoning them closer. Unnecessarily, considering the hostess was leading them straight to her, but again, she didn’t seem to care.
“Great, great, you’re here! Please, take a seat, make yourself comfortable. I hope you found the place alright – I almost missed it! I guess you don’t need a fancy entrance when word of your restaurant travels so far in the upper circles.” Or they just meant to keep out of sight of the ‘commoners’, but she decided not to mention that. “Anyway, you’re here now. There’s a lot to discuss, but I’ll let a few more turn up before I get into it. For now, check the menu!” Presumably, they would take a seat somewhere at the table, and a server would promptly arrive to place a pair of menus in front of them both. They would do the same for every other arrival.
The food menu was surprisingly small – one double-sided sheet covered starters, entrees and desserts, while the other menu held an array of drinks (most of them alcoholic). One could make an educated guess that the small menu was the sign of an establishment that emphasised quality and quality. Atlantis didn’t survive on just its gimmick, after all – the food had to be nothing short of superb to keep customers coming. No, their options were the price to pay for being there. Even on a weeknight, every other table was full, and Emi had learned that the reservations were almost full for the rest of the year. It had taken too many emails, a fair bit of name dropping and a lot of luck for her to get the class a table, at the bargain of ten thousand yen a head! They were restricted to the party menu, but it was a fair trade, in Emi’s eyes.
Regardless, the menu was small but far from boring. Classics like sashimi, unagi and tempura were listed alongside delicacies like kurage, funazushi and shirako. Given that the latter were rarities for good reason, the first to arrive had something to mull over while they waited for the rest.914 words | | Quirk: E; Marksmanship: F; Producer: F | Template made by Pinn @ thq |

these rapid eyes will keep on moving Lani hadn't been out with the class for a long time. Back before even the incident at the Kunshu festival, they had a shopping trip together near the beginning of the school year. Since then things had changed a lot and so had their class. What once used to be a nearly all female lass was less so and a few diehards were still here that were there since the very beginning. A number of them she had met personally already, but there was still plenty of ground to cover, so Lani was going to have to do that hear. Between this and the announcement of the costumes being made for the class by their class president, Lani was growing her roster of friends and classmates that she knew beyond their name and where they sat in class. As for the place they were going, Lani couldn't help but feel like it was fancy. It was mostly because they had a dress code of sorts. A person couldn't just walk in wearing whatever they wanted, so Lani actually had to pick clothing outside of her normal wear. Why was that? Most of Lani's clothing showed off as much skin as possible. She was most comfortable when as much light was touching her skin as she could get, so she dressed that way. But dressing that way wasn't exactly "smart." Lani wasn't a fashionista or anything, but she did try to look her part while still keeping herself comfortable. It led to many interesting clothing picks and design decisions. And for today, she went out with the attempt to cover at least half of her body. That would be her top half. She wore a thick black top. One side was a short sleeve while the other was a strap that hung off her shoulder. The nack just barely covered the bra she wore underneath, giving it a little peek of a little class at the same time. ANd when Lani planned on covering half, she wasn't joking. She matched the top with very short shorts. So short that they couldn't be seen from under the top and left her legs completely exposed. That was where she as going to get her light for the evening so that she wouldn't be completely smothered and bothered the whole outing. And with a few colorful cloth bracelets and her hair tied neatly off to the side of her head, Lani was set to go. She had her purse with her, mostly because a woman's clothes never really had any carrying capacity, especially for her. As Lani arrived at the location, she looked at the door in silence. It was completely nondescript. There were no signs or eye-catching details to it. Was she even at the right place? A quiet hum muttered through the girl's lips as she swiped her thumb over the screen of her phone to make sure she had the location right. It seemed like she was there, but she couldn't really see how this was a place that needed her to dress up even a little. It was like that thief dojo all over again. A smile grew on her face as she thought about that place and how she and Nyke ruined it all. "Whatever." Lani shrugged her shoulders and entered, only to be greeted with an elevator and a hostess. Immediately, she was given a look down as if she was being inspected and judged. It was creepy as hell, but Lani was used to getting looks. With the way she dressed and how much she showed off, it was her normal now. But thanks to her height, development and the way she held herself up, it was hard for many to imagine she was a teenager. After a few seconds of silence and Lani being only a few more away from yelling at her judge, the elevator started moving and she was brought down to the restaurant floor. As the door opened, Lani adjusted the strap of her purse that hung from her shoulder and stepped off to look for her classmates. No one was really here yet. In fact, the only person she saw was Emi, a new arrival to the class. Lani's smile grew as she raised one of her hands up to great her. "Hey girl!" She yelled from across the restaurant floor. Yes, Lani was loud and didn't care at all for anyone else in the place. She was disruptive and assertive, but that was just who she was. The dark skinned girl made her way over to Emi and glanced up at the ceiling. She was careful to pick a seat that was directly under a light. The whole place was lowly lit to give it an evening atmosphere and Lani was naturally attracted to the light, so she made sure she was going to sit in some place that had a lot of it. Namely, a seat near the aquarium. "You've got some bucks if this is your idea of a class outing."842 | @tagged | Quirk : E, Swordsmanship: F, Rainbow Road: E ulla

Miku was always happy to hang out with her class. Now that she thought about it, she didnt do it in a long time. She never got to know this Emi person. But the fact that she invited Miku and the whole class to a place made Miku think she was thoughtful. And Miku thought she should respect her classmates wishes. Miku took a dress that isnt too formal or too casual. A dress that screams 'Im polite'. A dress code had to be kept up.
Once Miku was done dressing up, she went to the place that Emi told them to go. Although Miku had to look it up online to see what address it was. Luckily, she didnt get lost and found the place no problem. Although... there was another problem that arose "What does Emi look like again?" Miku thought to herself as she had an 'oh crap' moment. What if she was first and did not know how to recognize Emi. She didnt wanna stay at the entrace scanning people like a terminator. That'd be... weird.
Luckily, Miku noticed her good friend, Lani. She went to Lani, she knew things and was all chillax and outgoing. "Hey Lani!" Miku greeted her And then she saw the girl that was Emi "Hello there. Im so happy we can finally get to know one another." Miku said as she greeted Emi
She then took a seat, the one she was closest to. She wasnt picky who she was gonna sit next to.

Demon Machine i no longer fear ending my hell A class meeting was still an odd thing for Nyke. She wasn't the most talkative person, but since the last meeting she had formed what she could only assume were bonds with some of her classmates. It was a weird feeling to care about someone else. She didn't really know how to describe it or handle the feelings of friendship, so, for now, she kind of just buried it. It was bothersome and awkward and it was definitely easier to just ignore it than it was to deal with it. A class outing would put her in a setting where she would be around more people, and thus, not have to interact with anyone really. Hiding among the forest of classmates and being around them all at once so that she didn't have to be around them at all. It sounded weird, but that was Nyke's plan. Just eating and watching the others was plenty good for her. This time, rather than shopping for a cookout, they were to meet up at a restaurant. And once Nyke got the message, she recognized the name of the place. It was a high scale restaurant that offered a unique experience to those that had money. The food was expensive and so were many others things that were there. Nyke had actually been there before. Back before school started and when Nyke first came to Japan, it was one of the places she visited with her father. He had heard good things about the restaurant and took his daughter there to try out the food. It was an enjoyable experience. While Nyke didn't like her father much, she did like that dinner. It almost felt like a normal father/daughter date. At least it was until they got home and Nyke had to reward him for his efforts. Thankfully, this time it was purely a social thing for her and her classmates. And while she had no plans on getting to know anyone, in particular, she did enjoy watching them. When Nyke arrived at the main entrance, she remembered that she was to take an elevator down to the main area. Someone was inside of it to look over those that entered and to keep the riff-raff out. However, due to her previous visit, Nyke was recognized the moment the door opened. "Hello, Ms. Nora." A voice rang out as the person on the elevator greeted her. Nyke was dressed in a pretty business casual way. She knew the place she was going to and dressed accordingly. The vest and skirt she wore was a pinstripe style and matched the aesthetic of the businessmen that usually visited the place. The person on the elevator glanced around to look for her father, expecting the man to be with her, but as Nyke stepped on tot he elevator she shook her head. "Just me." And with that, she rode down to where the rest of her class was at. But instead of a greeting or even acknowledging them, Nyke walked over to a table and sat down. It wasn't that she was ignoring her class, she just wasn't good at doing that kind of thing. @tag | 530 words | --- Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

He sighed as he got the text. Since the event with the military, the loss of two villains, getting his students shot, and a visit from someone he really didn't understand why could not take the hint that he didn't want to see her, this was the last thing he needed. A quote unquote mandatory call to come up, or down, and see his students at a fancy restaurant. He didn't want to see them, he wanted to see them, but he just couldn't bring himself to face them, that was the reality. While they all focused on getting stronger and being real protagonists, he let himself get deluded in to the roll of the teacher that falls behind. And now, he had to make a decision.
He had been holed up in his room, using sick days to avoid coming in to class while wallowing in his own self doubt. he could barely do anything, everyone around him was getting stronger faster. No matter what, it was like one of those dreams, where you are being chased by something you can't escape. That, no matter how hard you try, everyone else manages to outrun it, despite your brain screaming at you to run, it feels as though your feet sink in to the ground with each step. And the moment you look over your shoulder? Snap, end of dream, minor heart attack from the scare, and the thought that you failed, even in a dream where you should be in control. He was curled up on his bed roll today, clinging to his pillow while scrolling through the various gacha games he played on it, uninstalling them en masse until that text came up on his phone. He stared at the message and thought to himself, did he deserve this? maybe he didn't. Maybe he should stay here. But, he replied to the message with a thumbs up emoji.
After doing so, he rolled over and sighed, before he slowly got up, wearing nothing but a tank top and boxers, he examined the room. papers thrown about every where and drawings gouged through with exacto knives. Torn asunder to avoid the world ever seeing whatever it was he had drawn. Anyone that saw this, not that anyone did, would know, that Arata Hayashi was finally having a slump. His art was catharsis, and if he was throwing away even simple drawings, that just meant that something was bothering him to no end. he let two of his students be put in danger. And the others, he didn't even know where they were during that big event. He kept having flash backs to it, and in his dreams, what if scenarios if he wasn't quick enough to keep them from just getting grazed. He wanted to get stronger, but, in the back of his mind, he kept telling himself, he never would match up to his students. He didn't want to think that though, he needed a distraction, a step out of his rut.
Sighing, he shuffled off to his apartment's bathroom, turning the light on to examine his Saiyan-esque hair. Stuck up in an obscene manner from the bedhead he was suffering. He moved his hand to touch it, getting a slight sting from the follicles screaming at him for abusing them. He sighed and combed his hair first before going through the rest of his hygiene routine. "I gotta redownload those games, maybe." He said to himself while leaving the bathroom, staring at his phone before he tossed it on to his bed roll and opened his closet, picking out a clean set of clothes to wear under the suit he would be wearing. Why did it have to be Atlantis? Maybe, just maybe, his father or his supposed fiance wouldn't be there.
A nice button down white shirt, followed by a black tie that he got too long on one end the first try, too long on the other end on the second, somehow turned it in to a Chinese Finger Trap on the third, before he threw it to the side and grabbed a bow tie. Better this than the workman's noose. After tying the neat little bow on and getting on his pants with a belt, he examined his hair in the mirror while carrying his black blazer over his shoulder. It was still a little scraggy, but, it always did that, even after his product was put in or washed out. But, at least it was tame! After he was all dressed and ready, the red eyed hero left his apartment and headed straight toward Atlantis.
Upon arrival by cab, he stepped out and sighed, throwing the blazer on while leaving it unbuttoned. Just like with his hoodie, he tucked his hands in to the jacket pockets after pulling his collar up as high as possible. At the entrance, the coat check attendant asked him, "Can I take your jacket for you sir?" He just walked by and waved his hand with a soft smile on his face, and his brow furrowed downward in contemplative regret, "Nah, thanks though." He had to try and be happy, at least put on the appearance that he was. Maybe, it would turn genuine while everyone was getting to enjoy the evening.
At the elevator, Arata would walk up tot he attendant, "Oh, mister Hayashi, your father was here just the other day, were you two going to be dining together? Or perhaps you and your fia-" Arata held up a hand, the black marks along his knuckles still visible for his quirk to be on display partly. "No, and she and I have no relation, despite what she or that man say, I refuse. Thank you for the ride." He stepped off of the elevator, looking around before he would pick out the faces of those he knew. True to his style of entrances, he brought a hand to his mouth, tucking his thumb and index finger in tot he sides of his mouth and whistled, loud. Loud enough that everyone would take a moment to pause and look at him. He even exposed one of the ghostly hands of his quirk to wave around and signal over everyone in his class while he walked down the small grand staircase to the main floor to join everyone. The glove returned to his knuckle, and he walked right up to the girls.
"Miku! Lani! Emi! Even Nyke? Who else is going to be joining us? Or, is this the whole Mahou Sensei Arata theme that Elise keeps talking about with Tetsuko?" He asked while brimming with a smile, seeing his students for the first time in over a week, it brought a genuine smile to his face. Of course, someone else was here today that he knew, that he wish he didn't know, that he wished would not come over, because he knew that they were rather jealous of his entire life style, not wanting him to do anything but spend time with them. Let's just hope the evening doesn't draw them over, shall we?

You leave me here wondering if I'll ever know How much you care, or how much you don't If you're going to be somebody's last time, baby be mine. “ The time had come for another class outing and this time it was an upscale place. Kyla was big into businesses and the word that got around about that kind of world in the city she lived in. If she wasn't so dead set on becoming a hero, that was the time of profession she aimed to get in to. In fact, even as a hero, she expected to understand business and the economics around the hero world. It was a new market and it was changing rapidly, so she wanted to make sure she took part in it. So hearing that they were going to have an outing at the Atlantis sent Kyla into a miniature panic attack. Of course, given the effects of her mutation, it wasn't something someone could tell just by looking at her stoic face. The biggest issue here was what to wear. Kyla's clothing wasn't really suited for that kind of environment. She needed something more proper and well suited for that the kind of clientele that place had. But at the same time, this was a class outing and she didn't want to overdress for it. It was supposed to be a fun get together, not a business meeting where she was expected to dress to impress. The girl's whole day was her being stuck in her dorm room trying to find out what she wanted to wear. She set out and arranged a great many different outfits and combinations because she was entirely overthinking what she was going to do for the meetup. There was one dress that she had. Her mother made her pack it in case of a prom or homecoming dance where she wanted to go all out. And it was very elegant, but not what was fitting for class outings. So, in the end, she decided on something far more modest and easier to wear. It was a white skirt lined with a sky blue stripe around the hem and a black jacket tied neatly with a yellow bow that matched her eyes. She wore gloves and stockings to bundle up against the incoming cold and did her best to make it as neat as possible. She hoped that it was good enough and feared being rejected at the door and missing out on hanging with her classmates. The trip there was pretty uneventful. She didn't see any of her classmates on the short walk to the unassuming building, but she worried that she was either too early or too late. And once she passed through the barren metal doors to enter the elevator, the moment of truth had come. She was nervous and her legs here visibly shaking. Of course, her face was unable to show this and had her typical stoic expression that could be pretty domineering to those that weren't used to it. It wasn't nearly as bad as her other classmates, but Kyla could unsettle others with her lack of visible emotion. However, when the person of the elevator gave her a small nod and started to operate it, the girl let out a small sigh of relief as she passed the test. Her Nasod Core wasn't so kind as it lit up and showed a much more visible and animated sigh emoji to reflect her feelings. And with that, Kyla was finally down. A few of her classmates and even her teacher were there now and if Kyla could smile, she would. "Hey everyone!" She spoke up as she walked within speaking distance of everyone else. Of those that were there, Kyla had spent the most time with Nyke, followed up by Lani. Then there was Miku, who was one of the students that had been there since the beginning of the school year. Of course, there was their teacher, Arata-sensei. And finally, there was the person that organized everything, Emi. How she did it was a mystery, but Kyla was thankful and would say as such. "Thank you for the invitation."”

Post by Tetsuko Shindou on Dec 2, 2018 18:26:13 GMT -4
It was exceedingly rare for Tetsuko to actually have to dress up for something. The last time she'd had to do such a thing was, if she was recalling correctly, for the wedding of a family friend that had had Tetsuko returning temporarily to Kashima. Well, there was also Elise's father's funeral, but the attire for that occasion was decidedly different, with no focus on good looks, but rather solidarity in the firmness of black. The wedding, however, had seemed to be all about dolling up and turning every girl into the perfect little princess none of them wanted to be. With Tetsuko's mother being in the state she was, much of that had fallen to Tetsuko's grandmother, an experienced woman when it came to all things attire and makeup. She'd lived for long enough in Shinjuku to know what qualified for fine attire and what was simply a cheap attempt at looking expensive. It had been entirely her responsibility to make Tetsuko presentable, and fortunately, that event hadn't been too long ago, meaning the attire from then fit Tetsuko just fine.
It was a certain departure from the hip and casual streetwear that Tetsuko was used to. Tetsuko didn't wear dresses too often, so putting it on had been a bit strange for her. It was of a modest length, reaching down to just above her knees, a suitable length for a young and fit girl of her age, so her grandmother had said. The small bow and sash were a deep, midnight blue, while the inner frills had an aqua shade, something Tetsuko actually quite enjoyed about the design. Although anything frilly tended to be not her style, in these case they somewhat evoked the image of waves, and along with the outfit's lighter, cooler colors, made it the perfect thing for what had, at the time, been a seaside wedding. It would hardly be out of place at this aquatic-themed restaurant, she hoped. Unlike then, however, Tesuko also had a large navy blue coat nearby, which she'd don for the trip over in the chilly Winter air.
Even if the dress-up wasn't at all her style, Tetsuko spared no expense looking presentable and dignified for her class, wanting to show them that she took their bond as peers very seriously, as she hoped their strange organizer did too. To pay for all these expenses, and send out those invitations too... Ms Tachibana was either very dedicated to bringing this class together, or very rich and wanted to just show it all off. Either way, it was free seafood, and Elise wanted to go, so Tetsuko didn't have any proper reason to decline the invitation. Even if she was dubious of the exceptions to the invitation that Emi had included. Looking herself over in the mirror to make sure she was all spick and span, Tetsuko couldn't help but scrunch up her face a little. This stuff didn't really suit her, in her eyes, not with her scarred and toned body. Her Quirk's usage had left her exposed flesh a bit worse for wear, making the dress look unfitting for her, in her own opinion, at least. "Geeze... Hey Eli? This dress look alright to you?" Tetsuko would call back to the other girl, who was also preparing for their little night out within their room. It had been Elise's idea, they were to arrive together, like a proper celebrity couple, to really bask in the experience. Tetsuko didn't really get it, but if it meant she could keep Elise safe on the night streets she was fine with it.
"A-Actually, I'm pretty sure I can guess what you're gonna say, don't worry about it..." The Shindou girl quickly changed her mind, realizing pretty quickly that it didn't matter how it looked, Elise was probably going to try out some smooth compliment either way, and Tetsuko wasn't always the best when it came to compliments. She never quite knew how to respond! Breathing a sigh into the air, Tetsuko looked herself over one more time, the scarred warrior in the white dress, quite the image. Without any reason nor need to delay any further, Tetsuko would gesture over to Elise while she pulled out her own phone, calling them a cab to pick them up a short walk from the school grounds.
It did admittedly feel a little fancy and interesting, dressing up for this night out that Emi had graciously paid for. Tetsuko would, by all means, escort Elise to their cab, letting the other girl hold her arm as she undoubtedly would before they drove off for the location given by Emi. Allowing idle chatter to fill their time, they'd soon enough be departing their transport, with Tetsuko making sure she was the one to pay the driver. She might still be clueless about this whole dating thing, but Tetsuko at least knew when to be a gentlewoman.
The place was surprisingly well-hidden, and had it not been for the power of online map applications, the pair may well have missed the tucked away restaurant. Perhaps that hidden aspect of it was part of the appeal, a small little secret for the elite to spread around their closed off circles. That itself made Tetsuko curious how Emi was able to both find and afford this place. That aside, Tetsuko and Elise would head on down into the restaurant proper, the Shindou girl handing off her coat to an attendant along the way. She hardly seemed too off-put by all the flair and nobility of it all. Her family's prestige in Kashima had her used to this kind of dignified and excruciatingly proper dance, as Tetsuko kept herself composed and quiet all the way down into the restaurant floor, where she'd step out of the elevator and spot their classmates not far away.
They certainly stood out in this place, making its choice for a class meeting ever more curious. Perhaps Emi really was just trying to display some level of influence and wealth, not that that was relevant at all. Smiling proudly, the dress-clad warrior would walk over to the table with Elise, pulling out a chair for the other girl as she greeted her classmates. "Evening, everyone." The swordswoman would glance at the menu while she took her own seat, her eyes immediately drawn to the Sashimi before she looked over to Emi. "Thank you for planning this, Emi-san." She'd say with a polite bow of the head, though internally, she was still a bit dubious...
More importantly, that sashimi was sounding really nice...

There was something about stylish parties that Elise wasn't entirely fond of. It wasn't that she disliked social gatherings, but something about those high-class fancy parties sat her wrong. Parties were meant to have fun and befriend others, not to show off your pride and wealth, but then again, when she looked over the invitation again Elise couldn't help but smile faintly. She should have expected as much from Emi, the girl might have tried to follow her advice to befriend her classmates, even if the decision to do so at a stylish high-class restaurant was a bit of an awkward decision! Then again, most likely wouldn't be that surprised that Elise could easily mingle in such a social activity. She might have been way more playful and cheerful than the average girl of her age, but Elise was the daughter of a famous couple working in the medical industry, and as such, it was not unheard of for her family to attend such social gatherings. If they thought she didn't know a thing about fashion, they'd better think again because Elise cared immensely about looking cute and pretty for her iron-blooded knight, as was evident with the burgundy-haired lass her choice of attire. A beautiful red dress was the garb she had chosen to wear, although she was more excited about the fact that Tetsuko had also chosen to dress up for the occassion. While Tetsuko often doubted the level of femininity her looks had, Elise was far more appreciative of the looks of her lover. It was rather endearing how the colors of their outfits clashed, red and blue, colors often labeled as polar opposites and in a way, it represented the differences between both girls, and yet at the same time, it was their affection for each other that allowed them to overcome those hurdles. Of course, having spotted the coat her lover brought with her, Elise had deliberately forgotten her own, giving her a perfect excuse for her to snuggle under Tetsuko's coat on the way back to the dorms. Although she found herself temporarily distracted, despite her mirror image smiling back at her, Elise had her doubts. Not about the party, but a different subject. In the wake of a recent conversation in the chatroom of the school, it seemed Hachi-sensei's concern had caused an investigation to be launched by the school board, and even if the Principal was doing his utmost to leave an amicable conclusion to the investigation, the fact that their relationship had no negative effect on their studies was something the ministry of education didn't care about in the slightest. It was quite likely that they were going to get separated the next year in terms of rooming, and that by itself was something Elise wasn't looking forward to in the slightest. It was unfair, understandable but unfair for them to separate her and Tetsuko when they had not even done some of the most questionable things certain students at this school had done so far. Of course, part of her wanted to suggest the idea of renting an apartment then for the two of them, but she doubted Tetsuko would agree to that. She was someone who tended to stick to the rules, and even if it annoyed her... she knew Tetsuko's reason for being at this school was to become a hero, not to nurture their relationship. Besides, they could still grow closer to one another even without being roomed together. Maybe they would even get close enough that Tetsuko would think about the idea of them staying at the same place after they graduated! But still... maybe she was just being a bit childish at the desire to be as much as possible at Tetsuko's side. She heaved a soft sigh, barely audible as she tried to banish the thoughts from her mind. By the time Tetsuko called out Elise had already sneaked up behind her, fingers gently reaching for her lover's shoulder and trailing her fingertips lightly along the faint traces of her scars. They were barely noticeable nowadays, courtesy of Tetsuko's newfound regenerative properties which came as a byproduct from exposure to Elise's quirk, to the point it was mostly just minor discoloration of small parts of her skin. "Of course it looks alright to me~ A dress suits, my knight, just as much as armor does." Elise chimed with a smile as she rested her chin on Tetsuko's shoulder, hearing the Shindou's quick attempt to change the subject, making her pout playfully. "Mou~ I'm supposed to be the teaser here~ Besides you know I love complimenting how you look~ Cute yet cool at the same time, both girls and guys would kill to have both in the same level as you have~"As they left the dorm and Tetsuko offered her arm Elise smiled happily at her, gently grasping a hold of it as she started to feel more and more like a proper princess being escorted to a party. "To think my knight would also be my prince tonight~ hehe you're really spoiling me Tetsu~" Elise hummed tenderly as she leaned in to give Tetsuko a light smooch on her cheek, and soon they reached the cab, the two of them being driven toward the location Emi had given them. After entering the place the Eisenberg gazed around, a hint of curiosity in her eyes as she had the small pouch strapped over her shoulder, containing her essentials like her wallet and cellphone. They didn't take long to reach the restaurant floor either, spotting several of the students and their teacher nearby already. Having just arrived as she heard their teacher comment on a certain joke she couldn't help but find her lips curve up into a smirk as she mused out just loud enough for him to hear her. "If you plan to become a Mahou Sensei you better have been practicing your spells while I was in the hospital~ Or is this the point where you're going to seek out one of us to get secretly trained. I don't think we have a vampire in our class so... you might have to improvise~" Adding the last bit with a wink she turned toward the rest of the class and made a gentle wave with her free hand at the others. "Hey everyone~ It's good to see you all again."Watching as Tetsuko addressed Emi with a rather polite bow of her head Elise couldn't help but chime in with a smile. "Mhmm~ Thank you for the invitation~" As Tetsuko pulled out the chair Elise nodded her head, a whisper of gratitude escaping her lips as she patted the chair next to her as if to gesture for Tetsuko to take a seat. "Lemme guess~ Sashimi?" The girl whispered to Tetsuko as she watched the girl's eyes scan the menu. Hopefully tonight would be a pleasant night.

Sometimes mothers were completely unbearable. As much as Ericka loved her mother, she seemed dead set on making her class outing more than what it needed to be. Ericka didn't know if it was panic or excitement or just general worry, but despite Ericka just going out to dinner with friends, her mother insisted that she looked as appetizing as possible. Despite the fact that it was mostly girls in the class and that she was just going to eat and meet the newer students in the class, her mother wanted to make her look as if she was attending some high stakes high society dinner party. It seemed just the location alone was enough to put her mother into overdrive and it made Ericka tired. But Ericka also loved her mother very much, so she wouldn't put up too much of a fight. She just thought of it as practice for her eventual wedding day. In the end, all of Ericka's makeup and clothing was decided by her mother. The white dress she wore was more than she was comfortable with, but her mother insisted that she attended the restaurant with it She wanted her daughter to look like she belonged in such a place. Ericka was a pretty busty girl so the cleavage presented in the dress that she wore had the girl walking stiffer than she usually did. It wasn't the kind of dress that lent itself way to a bra, so Ericka was worried about spilling out of her dress. The last thing she needed at a class function was a wardrobe malfunction. But as long as she didn't move around too much, things would be fine. And to ensure her daughter reached the location without too much tomorrow, her parents drove her to the place themselves. In the back seat of the car, Ericka hoped that none of her classmates saw her escort. As charming and nice as if was for her mother and father to take her to the class dinner, she figured that her parents were making a bigger deal out of the situation than it really was. It was just a dinner after all. "Enjoy yourself, honey." Her mother said to the blonde as she opened the back door and stepped out of the car. Ericka was careful and stiff, being incredibly self-conscious about the way that she was dressed. "Thank you, mom," Ericka answered back with a smile and a quick wave to the both of them. The stayed parked until Ericka reached the metal doors that led to the elevator and down to the underground restaurant. Truth be told, Ericka was a bit mesmerized by the atmosphere. It was very different than what she was used to. With both her hands shyly clutching her purse that she held down at her hips in front of her, Ericka looked over at the aquarium and fishes that were the establishment's main attraction. "Awww..." A short breath of excitement left her lips as she walked slowly passed the glass and entered the area the rest of her class was gathered at. Already, many of her classmates were present. And as the class president, Ericka wanted to make sure she watched over everyone else even though their homeroom teacher was here as well. Her stiff walk reached the mass of students and smiled. She approached Emi first, the one who organized this whole thing. "Thank you for doing this for the class and welcome to 1-B!" She said before turning to the teacher to greet him as well. "Now now Arata-sensei, you've got to be the responsible one here." She told him, reminding him that he was the only adult of the group and this, the default chaperone.

What kind of families could afford to send their children to an experimental institution for wannabe heroes? Nobody poor, Emi reasoned, and so she could safely assume her classmates knew how to behave at a dinner date. For the most part, she was right. They all came appropriately dressed – or close enough, in Lani’s case. She was surprised that the girl was let into the restaurant looking like that, but perhaps the staff didn’t want to cause a scene by rejecting a single member of a party. Unfortunately, the girl didn’t seem to mind disrupting the peace as she entered, earning herself a stern gaze from many a patron, and an unamused one from Emi. Lani must have been the exception to her presumed rule – an child uneducated in the ways of the well-off. It couldn’t be helped, Emi told herself as she sighed, but perhaps it could be taught.
Her disappointment was mild but visible, given how animated the girl usually was. Thankfully, she didn’t have to dwell on social faux pas for long. Miku arrived in inoffensive attire, putting a more familiar smile on the girl’s face. “Looking cute, Miku!” Her class was small, but having to remember any list of names was still new to Emi, considering that this was her first class. It was fortunate, then, that her classmates had very distinctive appearances, and their mutations only added to the differences. Still, a few nicknames were in order to help her remember. ‘Tail Girl’ was the next to arrive, apparently having forgotten to even greet her friends. And her host. She furrowed her brow so quickly that it almost looked like a twitch, but she decided to let it slide. Mostly. “Nice to see you could join us, Nora.”
Glovebox, of course, needed no introduction… But from the looks of it he might have needed some etiquette lessons. She regarded the teacher as a mother would their child… After catching them eating paste for the fifth time that day. He really should have known better, but hopefully all eyes were on him and not on her dismayed face. “Arata-sensei, normally people keep it down a bit around here. You know, so everybody else can enjoy their food.” She couldn’t imagine that the man didn’t know that, but hey, she’d been surprised once that night already. “Maybe you should just… sit down before one of the staff come over…”
Fortunately, another one of her peers arrived to serve as a distraction. ‘Bulb Head’ had more sense than her teacher, even if formal attire did nothing to make her look older. How old was she, anyway? Emi reminded herself to ask soon. “Glad you could join us, Kyla. Come, come, sit down.” The couple came next. Or at least, Emi thought they were a couple. Either that, or Elise (one of the few students she knew enough to not need a nickname for) and ‘Might Secretly Be A Guy’ appreciated each other’s company a little too much. Then again, she imagined it would be nice to have somebody care that much. Or at all. “Hey, hey! Nice to see you both here. It’s no problem, though.” She had her ulterior motives, after all.
She’d expected that to be all – after all, six students and a teacher was about seven more people than she expected to arrive, given the stunning lack of meetings she’d seen since joining. But then came ‘Blondie’, and Emi came to a realisation. “Woah, hey… That’s every girl in the class here! …And none of the guys. Should I be offended by that?” Probably, but she would leave the overthinking for when she was alone. Regardless, her tone told that she was at least partly joking. “Ah well, at least I’ve got you guys. I’m sure eight teenage girls and a grown man sharing a table won’t look weird at all. Anyway! I bet you’re wondering what the point of all this is.” Hopefully all of her classmates opted to sit down, giving them a chance to read the menus if they were too nervous (or too hungry) to look at her. If they chose the former, they’d see that the girl was a little giddier than usual. She was no stranger to having eyes on her, so it was anybody’s guess what had her excited – until she finished explaining. “Well, most importantly… I just wanted to see you guys! I know you guys have been busy and all, but… I haven’t! Not more than usual, anyway. And I don’t want to miss out on getting to know my class buddies.” She paused, and on her face, the group might have noticed a rare hint of meekness from her. “I’ve never really been in a class before. I think I’ve been doing pretty well so far, but I thought people in schools hung out, like, all the time! But only Elise-san asked to do something together outside of class-“ And she’d managed to ruin that anyway- “so I thought if nobody else will do it, I will! So, this is it! Enforced bonding!”
From beneath the table, she whipped out her secret weapon! A notebook, clearly titled ‘The Hero’s Guide To Everything’, and a pen to accompany it. She slapped them against the table, leaning in a little as she continued. “We’ll start simple! Your name, age and city of origin! With a fun fact about yourself! Er… Why you’re at Yuuei, too! And I guess while we’re at it, you can tell us about your quirk! That’s not too much, right?” On the one hand, she had a feeling most of the answers would have been told before. On the other, at least two of the girls at the table seemed like the type to avoid talking wherever possible. She’d have to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they’d answer – even if she’d forgotten to herself.985 words | Posting Order: Once per round |

these rapid eyes will keep on moving After Lani came in, a slew of her other classmates arrived as well. First off was Miku and Nyke, the quieter ones of the class. They definitely weren't the only ones, but between Nyke's silence and Miku's pacifist nature Lani couldn't help but group them together. Of course, the short girl didn't bother to say anything and just sat alone. Lani let out a short sigh as she did. Her attempts to get her more active with the class weren't doing all that well, but whatever she was comfortable with was fine. Miku was at least sociable and even got a compliment from Emi while all Lani got was a look. She was used to it, however. Her body and her quirk needed the light and she wasn't going to cover up. They got her a lot of looks and stares and at this point, it was just the natural state of existence for her.
Then came the teacher, who was about to hang out with a bunch of teenage girls unless some of the guys showed up. The poor soul wasn't going to have a good time if the stereotype was to be fulfilled. She didn't expect him to have much in common with the girls, but as they were all trying to become heroes, there would definitely be some insight he could share with them all. Surely he had some cool hero stories to share that he didn't share in class already. He was a hero after all! And behind him was Kyla. She was her usual self and greeted everyone there. Lani was quick to wave back to the girl. It was still an odd and unsettling thing, but Lani had learned to pay attention to Kyla's core if she wanted to know how the girl felt. She didn't smile or frown or do anything really with her face, so that was the best Lani had.
Next up were Elise and Tetsuko. Lani was always mildly interested in her fellow sword wielder and had to remind herself to hang out with the girl to talk about it some time. Any tips or facts they had for each other would be interesting since their styles of swordsmanship were very different. Elise was the healer of the class and what certain internet types would call a slime girl. It was an apt description when she used her quirk, but the connotation in some circles brought up completely different images.
And then finally, there was the class president herself. The last to arrive as no one else decided to show up yet. The chesty blonde definitely looked more adult and seemed to take a cue from Lani's manner of dress. Lani couldn't help but laugh as she waved the class president over. "Loosen up a little." She teased as she walked over and put her shoulder around the blonde. "If you stay all stiff like that, any bump or sudden movement gonna knock them out." She added, teasing some more, but giving the girl some real advice. Something like that was designed to hold firm, so she shouldn't worry too much.
One the introductions were settled, they all sat down at the tables reserved for them. Since she was already sitting and probably wasn't going to move, Lani sat down on next to Nyke. She moved down the seat with a short and exaggerated slide before picking up the menu. If Nyke was near the end, that would put Lani right under a light, which was what she wanted. She listened to what Emi said and looked over the menu. but as her classmate finished up, Lani closed it and looked up at the girl. "Quite the interrogation there girlie." Lani piped up humorous. She was asking a whole lot right away and some of those questions Lani wasn't going to answer.
"It's Lani, I like the light and I'm here to kick hero ass. As simple as that mostly." As for the rest, Lani didn't really say anything about them. She was the same age as most of her classmates so that didn't seem like it needed answering and Lani wasn't about to tell people where she was from. Not because she was ashamed of it, but because she was a runaway, so in an effort to make sure her mother stayed in the dark about Lani's location, that much information didn't need telling. "You'll see my quirk plenty in class too." She added. 745 | @tagged | notes ulla

Miku was glad more familar faces were coming. The first being the stoic, silent but really nice Nyke. Then the best sensei ever. Arata. And then Kyla.... Well, Miku couldnt really say anything about her since they never really interracted. Which is a dang shame. Then the power couple of Elise and Tetsuko. The two who can really make Miku green as a plant. Those were so lucky. To be in the same class. And last but not least. Ericka, the coolest class prez. Ah, 1B truly was the best.
Emi, might be a new face. But she was incredibly nice and polite. Complimenting Miku's appearance, thus making her blush from shyness "Thank you" and of course immediatelly thanked her new fellow classmate.
When Emi talked to Arata as if she was his mother or something, Miku quietly giggled. It was kind of cute. Or something. It was a fun thing. After which when everyone arrived, Emi brought up a good point. Only girls and no boys. Only sensei <3 For Miku, order has been restored in the universe. Class 1B was a mostly girl class, once joked to be a harem class. "Now if only the only boy in the class was Akio" she thought to herself No way that would happen, but a girl can dream.
After everyone came and settled, Emi started. Asked name, age and city of origin. With a fun fact about yourself. Why are you in UA. And what is your Quirk. Simple enough. Lani breezed through it no prob. Miku could do it too, but she wondered what was a fun fact about herself. Bragging that your adoptive dad is the number 1 Vigilante is stupid. Sooo.... "My name is Miku Hanabira. My city of origin is Tokyo. A fun fact is erm... well... I have a uTube channel, which I mostly just share with my dad. I'm in UA so I can be a Hero, silly. And my Quirk is Plant Manipulation. I'm a Plantmancer" she said and made sure to try and touch every Emi's point
She ommited some things because of Arata sensei. She didnt know if it was smart to say 'I am in UA so I dont be a Vigilante.' That sounded offensive

Demon Machine i no longer fear ending my hell Nyke watched silently as her classmates filed in and greeted each other. The most Nyke would do in return was nod slowly to acknowledge that she heard anyone that spoke to her. Despite not speaking and not being sociable in general, Nyke didn't mind being her. Watching was classmates was interesting at least. Many of them she knew from other things and adventures. Some were even in her after school club, so that was nice. However, as they were speaking amongst themselves, Nyke was just going to see what the restaurant had for the day. Their menu was quite expensive and the last time that she was here, her father ordered for her. Nyke's tastes were particular she wondered if the place would remember her dietary needs from the last time she was here. If not, Nyke always had a small snack on her to take care of just that. Though, Nyke was sure that if she told the waitress that it would be taken care of.
The small girl's head popped back up as she felt the depression in the cushion of the seat next to her. She saw that Lani was moving down to sit with her and the class was gathering together to sit down and eat. Nyke instinctively moved over, closer to the wall and the glass that separated the water in the aquarium from the patrons trying to enjoy a meal. As she moved, the small girl glanced around at the others in the restaurant. The commotion of the class was hard to not notice. Even if they were all trying to be quiet, just the conversation of a group of girls and their teacher was going to drown out just about everything else. Not to mention that some of their classmates were louder and unfiltered as far as speaking went. In fact, one of them was sitting right next to her.
But then came the hard part. Once everyone was seated, the one responsible for the whole event wanted to know things about them. Nyke was already no talkative and didn't share much. So the barrage of questions was a bit overwhelming. It was odd for Nyke, but that was because she wasn't used to group outings like this. Was this the norm? She remembered being left alone for the most part at the other outings, which was what she preferred. The edge of the inner circle that was the class was where she liked to be the most. That said, some o the questions were things she could answers. Others were a little more difficult. Nyke never really asked her father where she was really from. She traveled around with him to many different places, so she didn't know what the first was. She kind of just assumed it was wherever he was from but she never asked about that either. Rather than a city, her country was the only answer she could give.
"Nyke. Fifteen. America. Same as everyone else. Demon Machine Mutation."
Saying all that was a lot for Nyke. In fact, it was too much even though it wasn't a complete sentence and she didn't answer all the questions properly. However, it was more than what most people got, so yeah? @tag | 541 words | --- Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

With Kyla being the next one to arrive, followed by CLass 1-B's power couple, Elise and tetsuko. Tetsuko didn't greet him as much as Elise, did, but, he rubbed the back of his neck, pulling his collar up more in the process while listening to what Elise said to him. "Right. If only life were an anime or a manga, right? Right." He looked away from them and coughed to break the tension he was feeling. In the back of his mind, he was still reeling from the whole Semper Fi event. And because of it, he was having some anxiety over Tetsuko and Elise. But, he kept telling himself, it was time to try and feel something other than misery and moping.
Ericka was the next to arrive, just the girl that he wanted to see, "Ericka! I wanted to talk to you about a new costume, for me, I need something that looks less vigilante, and more hero. Think you can help me sometime?" He of course was referring to that awful monochromatic hood laden outfit he had patched together himself with scarves being used copiously. He just shuddered, thinking to himself whatever possessed him to think that it was cool to dress like that. The world may never know really.
Turning back to Emi, he folded his arms and raised his head up a little bit, as if scoffing at the room, "Why would I ever do that? It would take away from the pure charm that you guys have come to expect from me!" He said in a jesting manner before taking a seat at the table, while looking over the various tempura vegetable options. Sweet potato tempura was one of his guilty pleasures, he could eat a triple order of that stuff if it weren't so bad for him. He wished he had a quirk that would allow him more carbs.
"I'm Arata, your teacher, you all know that. I'm twenty-two years old. And, my father actually partly owns this place by like four percent. I'm at Yuuei because when the police caught up with me it was either give up the vigilante life or become a teacher!" He said with a somber voice, and put on an overshadowed ghost story telling face, jovial about the whole thing. He went on, making sure he remembered what Lani, Miku and Nyke all said.
"My quirk, you have all seen just what it can do, and, my goal is to live my own life, give a series of middle fingers to my father, and not get married off, you know, the normal stuff." That was not even remotely normal, but, okay Arata. Of course, while they were all having fun, someone in the far background that only Arata knew personally from outside of the school was moving around in the background. This was going to be an eventful day for Arata and the gang after all.

You leave me here wondering if I'll ever know How much you care, or how much you don't If you're going to be somebody's last time, baby be mine. “ Kyla nodded to Emi and looked for a place to sit down among the class. She was quick to not just stand around in the middle of the restaurant floor while everyone was talking among themselves. Behind her, the final three people that wanted to come arrived. Tetsuko, Elise and their class president Ericka. Holding true to the original ratio of the class, it was pretty much only girls here aside fro their teacher. She didn't know what she had to do to get the boys in their class active, but something definitely needed to be done. Aside from Kogami, she didn't really know any of the boys in her class at all. Were they being scared them away or something? Whatever the reason, Kyla planned to just enjoy her time among her classmates and see what was in store for them at this dinner party. She moved to sit down at the table with her classmates and made sure to tuck her legs and arms in so that everyone had room to sit down. Kyla wasn't small, but she didn't want to be rude and take up too much space and end up with one of their classmates stuck away from the rest. "Been a while, huh?" SHe brought up, remembering their last outing as a short potluck where the class president announced she would be making costumes for the class if they wanted them. Since then, the crazy stuff at Semper FI happened and things were pretty different. There were even a ton of new classmates with Emi being one of them. Needless to say, this class dinner was definitely a good idea. As for Emi, she was quick to explain what they were all here for and what she wanted from everyone else. It was information. It was sudden and odd, but Kyla didn't mind sharing. Lani seemed a bit dismissive and as usual, Nyke didn't say much at all. On the other hand, the teacher and Miku were happy to share and even gave a few interesting facts about themselves. If the teacher's father owned four percent of the restaurant, he must have quick a bit of money. She wondered if his father knew Nyke's or was even in the business world at all. Kyla made a mental reminder to look up the information when she got a chance. It would be cool if their teacher had some clout. Though, it seemed like he didn't want to get married at all. When it came to her turn, the Nasod Core on Kyla's forehead flushed a pink color, showing a slight embarrassment when the attention suddenly turned to her. It was in complete contrast to her stoic and seemingly unexpressive face. Her mutation made her more like a machine than was expected. "I'm Kyla Casey." She started, raising one of her hands out of her lap and holding it against her flat chest. "I'm fifteen and from a small town in America. I really like dramas and my quirk is my core. It lets me control the nodes on my body." As she spoke, the girl lifted up her hand so that her wrists could be seen above her sleeves. On it were three white metal nodes that she could detach from her body. "I'm here to be a hero like the rest of you."”
