APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Miyu is a small girl, her incredibly long hair only emphasizing her petite figure. No matter her diet, she seems incapable of putting on pounds. While thin, her figure isn't noticeably curvy.
Her already-pink eyes seem to have a strange pink glow to them in the dark, though it isn't nearly enough to actually see by. Her round face is framed by two pink stripes on either side of her eyes, extending onto her otherwise blonde hair.
Outside of her uniform, she usually wears pale pink jumpsuits, often varying in brand and tone but always roughly the same. She struggles to find clothes in her size, so these jumpsuits are a size too big, always a little baggy.
Her posture is strange, with her already-small frame pulled into even smaller shapes and strange poses. She often sits with one foot behind her head, or both pulled under her rather than usual sitting positions, and she finds it hard to stand still without doing stretches.
POSITIVE
✔ Extroverted, fast learner, optimistic, idealistic, hot-blooded
NEGATIVE
✖ Loses interest in things she doesn't quickly understand, slacks off, bad at planning ahead, gets too familiar with people too quickly, loud
LIKES
✔ Bubblegum, boy bands, Kaiju movies, dogs, practicing contortion
DISLIKES
✖ Sad movies, bugs, sitting still, staying quiet, mysteries
Personality:
From first appearances, Miyu may seem odd. Her facial markings, odd fashion sense and constant bizarre poses would likely prompt assumptions that she's an outcast or just some kind of weirdo.
However, if you spent any time with her at all, you'd learn that Miyu really isn't much more than your average, friendly, high school girl, personality-wise.
She's loud and considers most strangers just friends she hasn't made yet, for better or for worse. She finds it hard to keep still, and constantly shifts around in weird poses when she isn't doing anything.
Miyu strives to be the ideal image of a hero that she has; a perfect paragon of justice who'll protect the innocent and punish evil, but she doesn't think much of the possibility of situations being more complicated than that in reality.

HISTORY
Miyu Sasaki was a relatively unremarkable child. Her family was a typical, Quirkless middle-class family in Tokyo, and up until she was four she was just a normal, energetic child. On her fourth birthday, just after her family had sung Happy Birthday to her, she abruptly doubled in size and broke her chair.
As Quirkless people, her parents had no idea how to handle her sudden size changes, but they did their best to accommodate it despite their lack of knowledge. Buying reinforced furniture cost less in the long run than repeatedly replacing it as Miyu struggled to control her fluctuations in size in the next few years, and they offered bonus pay to Quirker babysitters who could potentially teach her how to get a handle on it.
It took until she was 8 for Miyu to properly grasp how to control her Quirk. It was in the middle of a school soccer game, and Miyu had been put in the goal. As the ball sailed past her towards the net, she managed to voluntarily grow for the first time. She was scolded for using her Quirk in such a way by the teacher later, but she was too happy to properly listen.
Prior to properly understanding how to understand her Quirk, Miyu's parents enrolled her in contortionist classes, so she could at the very least make herself smaller somewhat when a 'growth spurt' hit. She found it fun, and a good outlet for her endless need to be doing something physically, so even after she learned to control her Quirk, she begged her parents to let her keep paying for her classes.
On the way home from school one day, Miyu and her friends were attacked by a villain, and Miyu grew as big as she could to shield them. When a vigilante-hero finally rescued them, they commended Miyu on her bravery. From that moment on, Miyu wanted to be a hero.
