Cian had carefully put together a number of group rescue exercises with the opening of Semper Fi. Their rescue facilities were top notch and he wanted to use the opportunity to teach his classes a very valuable lesson. The school year was in full swing and it was time that he provided them with a big challenge. That in of itself was a big channel for Cian. He had to craft puzzles for the students to make creative use of their quirks and put them in a situation where they had t work together to complete the objective. This most important part of this class was learning to work together with people that didn't interact too much. He knew that some of the students knew each other, but he designed the groups to have from different classes. This way he could do his best to ensure they weren't too familiar with each other. It was a fun idea and he had a lot of fun putting together the courses for the students. And naturally, he couldn't help but place little mental bets on how each student was going to handle each situation. The course designed for squad delta was a bit of a doozy. t was modeled after an accident built of incompetence. Sometimes people needed rescuing from the laziness of others rather than the wrath of nature. Accidents happened, but sometimes it was something that was inevitable that the general populace needed to be protected from. The idea of letting someone else deal with the problem was something the students were going to feel hard when they became professional heroes. They were going to have to deal with all kinds of people for all kinds of reasons, but they had to remember what the job entailed. Rescuing civilians was one of the most important portions of their career. Chasing down the lazy people that caused accidents and disasters was a job for the police. They were heroes, not detectives. This course was modeled after such an event, one that caused quite the stir when the reason behind the disaster was revealed. A subway junction had started to collapse and it had become a dangerous place to be in. While many were able to evacuate, any other needed rescuing and that was what the students were here to perform in this mock setup. They were to rescue nine target mannequins and bring them to the marked off section at the entry to the subway junction. It sat right next to the starting point the students were to gather at just before a set of escalators that would take them down to the junction. Unlike a normal subway stop, this one was much larger because it was a number of trains intersected. It was almost like a hub and often one of the busiest places in the whole subway system. A mannequin was trapped under some rubble at the end of one of the subway tunnels. While this was only a mock tunnel and not a real one, the wall of rubble served as an impassable wall that was actually out of the way of the junction as a whole. It was dark and hard to see anything in that section of the junction, meaning that the students had to deliberately look down the tunnel in order to spot the mannequin at all. It was mostly a lesson is making sure to search every nook and cranny of a disaster area for people that could not respond back when helped arrived. Another mannequin was stuck on the track themselves. And while the junction had only one train in it, this train was slowly rolling toward the mannequin. In about five round, it would roll over it, killing the mannequin by beheading. It needed to be saved quickly and carefully before that happened. If an attempt was made to rescue the mannequin, it was entirely possible that getting it unstuck would cause the train to roll even faster. This meant that in rescuing it, the student had to act quickly afterward to get out of the way or risk being injured. And, of course, there was a mannequin stuck in the junction's bathroom. The door to the women's bathroom had a small pile of rubble on the other side of it. A feat of strength or the combined effort of the students was going to be needed to get the door moved and the mannequin within freed. Again, it was an exercise in making sure the student searched everywhere that they could to find the targets to rescue. In the control room of the junction, a mannequin was suspendered just out of reach on the ceiling. It was attached to the stone ceiling with metal bracelets that were screwed in tight. Significant force and power were going to be needed to unlatch it by force, but there was a way to carefully remove the mannequin as well. The dangerous portion of the setup was the fact that there were numerous nails and other sharp objects all around the room and stuck to the ceiling as well. Anything that would affect metal would affect them as well, so a delicate touch was probably going to be needed. On the flip side, in another section of the junction was a mannequin latched to a broken pillar that was hanging from the ceiling. It too was latched on with metal bracelets that were actually quite loose and could be easily pulled from the crumbling stone pillar. The problem here was that the pillar was broken and the bottom portion of it meant that it was impossible to climb up as there was nothing to climb. There was nothing else around that could be used to reach the pillar and the mannequin was about twenty-eight meters from the closest spot on the ground. There was another mannequin stuck in an access shaft in the junction. The only clear path to reach it was a shaft that led straight upward toward the room with a ladder. There was wiggle room in the shaft, but not a whole lot of space for too much moving around. The issue here was that the latch that opened the shaft was malfunctioning. It a person attempted to climb the ladder up the shaft, they needed to move extremely quickly to make it to the top without the latch closing. Once a person passed a certain point on the ladder, the top of the shaft would close a few moments later. Going back down was easy because of the order the latches opened and closed but going up at a quick speed was going to be the hard part. Under the junction as a whole was the drainage system for any water or rain that entered the junction. It was pretty easy to get in and out of, but the drain was a large cement cylindrical room that kept the water flowing and moving toward the drain so that it wouldn't be sitting water for insects. It was not spinning at some pretty high speeds, which had enough G-force to keep people relatively stuck to the sides of the wall. Suspended in the middle of that room was a mannequin. SOmeone had to jump from the wall to the mannequin to rescue it, then use the rope it was tied in to escape. The rope led to a shaft that had the door to the top of it close,d meaning it could only be accessed from below. Jumping from the regular entryway, which led to the spinning walls would take some careful planning since the jump would incur extra G-force. Another room in the junction was the security office. it was at the end of a long monitored hall that was very heavily secured. A full system was in place to not only track visually, but with heat and sound signatures. If anything was detected, the security door would lock shut for a full round and prevent access to the mannequin inside. However, the system was damaged and exposed in the collapse. It reacted slowly to whatever was there and if something moved quickly enough, the system would be too slow to react. Additionally, the system was exposed and could be disabled directly through magnetic interference. The final target was locked behind a similar door. This system was on point. It could see and react to anything just about instantly and was protected from interference. However, this system only tracked things visually. As long as whatever was going through the hallway was undetected the door would remain unlocked and the mannequin inside was free to rescue The room this mannequin was in could deactivate its own camera system, but not the other one because of how damaged it was. The class will end once all mannequins are rescued and brought back to the safety zone, or time runs out (the event ends and the topics closed). This is not an exam, but a class. Students are here to learn and practice, not compete with the other squads to do things the best way. Mistakes are allowed. The important thing here is for students to learn to work together for a common goal. Aside from the stuff in this opening post, the topic and setting are free to use and proceed as you wish. If you have any questions, contact me on the discord. From this point on the student shave free reign and I will not be replying to the topic unless needed for something specific and by request. Have fun with it!

Finally, something Masaki could do. So far, most of his interactions in U.A. were either too social and made him uncomfortable or just made him out to be socially inept. Not that he wasn't, but that was beside the point. Masaki tried not to think back on those interactions too much, especially with the Art Clubs first gathering. Otherwise, he had been handicapped by his quirk and his otherwise low combat potential. It was a shameful display on his part.
Arriving in position at the top of the escalators of the simulated subway station, it was as expected, he was the first to arrive. Masaki was nothing, if not timely.
He couldn't stop thinking about what to expect from the course and more importantly, his partners. There were disadvantages and advantages to his situation. On one hand, not knowing most of the people made it a lot easier for him to accept working with just about anybody. While on the other, there was little to no synergy to come from any of the groups interactions; which could make this challenge even more difficult. After thinking it over, this was actually just flat out worse, and the negatives were clearly outweighing the positives.
Did the instructors plan for this beforehand? Masaki thought, bringing his right hand up to his face and resting his index finger on his upper lip. There was no way to find out without asking, but now was clearly not the time. The teachers probably went dark in times like this anyway. But here Masaki was again, trapped in his own head, worrying about things that probably didn't matter.
Adorning the standard school sportswear, Masaki had a concept for his costume; unfortunately, it hadn't been fully realized quite yet. Aside from that, he now understood that he would need to develop tools to make use of his quirk. That venture was going to require both time and a little bit of help. The two reasons, once combined, were strong enough to force him to wear the annoyingly blue outfit instead. With the free time, he wondered what the first thing they would run into would be. Masaki stared down the subway entryway.
His eyes narrowed. At the very least he would be more useful here; the urban setting was perfect for his quirk. There was no shortage of iron and steel embedded in the infrastructure of this mock subway.
Deciding to get a little rest in before the start, he walked over to the side of the entrance and crouched. Leaning his back against the wall, he gently dropped down into a sitting position. Despite sitting to the side, he would be hard to miss; thanks to being dressed in the signature U.A. colors. Masaki must have looked like a blue dot from a distance.
While sitting, he was filled with curiosity. Who he was he partnered with? What were their capabilities and how could they utilize them? He didn't inherently believe anyone was better than anyone else, but they would all likely have to swallow their pride to face the adversity inside. With that in mind, Masaki was perfectly fine with someone else taking charge; however, he drew the line when someone started making foolish and careless decisions. Those were traits unfitting of would-be heroes.
Knees bent and at chest height, Masaki propped his forearms atop his knees and rested his head back against the surface his back was on. Let's see how this goes he thought, staring upwards.

This time, Glave-sensei’s rescue classes involved the army. They also involved wooden mannequins, like every other time, but apparently, the masked teacher told them, every group had a specific course only their combined abilities could take.
Darren was curious enough to want to see that. He joined the rest of his group on the edge of the rescue areas, as instructed. He was clad in a prototype of his hero suit. Mari told him the harness needed more stitching, so for now, he had only an olive drab jumpsuit with a black backpack and a black belt. On the breast of the jumpsuit were sewn two black and red stars, the inner one bigger than the others, and on each shoulder he had a pair of stars as well. The first row of those, closest to his neck, were a vibrant red, and the second row of stars were deep black.
The large star that was supposed to go on his back wasn’t ready yet either. The backpack that replaced the harness would have covered it anyway. It was a simple sports backpack filled with bandages and the likes, which were perfectly useless on the wooden mannequins and no much more useful on real humans in his unskilled hands. He carried it anyway because he found out that without the harness, the jumpsuit made him look like a janitor. The backpack helped it a little. The pair of black army rangers he was wearing helped it, and the fingerless gloves with reinforced knuckles too.
The best part of the outfit was his hero name sewn in big white letters, one word per sleeve: Kinetic Activity. When he moved around, they colored themselves in the faintest blue, hinting at their special feature. The blondie hoped he'd get to use his quirk soon; he was eager to show off Mari's idea, which he found to perhaps be the coolest detail of his costume.
Darren came him playing a drum line on this thighs and kicking the ground rhythmically with his heels. A repetitive tt-tt-tt-tt of this tongue completed the improvised drumset with an ad-hoc hi-hat. The delinquent was hard not to notice as well, but for different reasons than the other kid who was already here, crouching on the side of the hole.
He slung a simple "Yo" he way as he came in and peered down the collapsed station as well. It was a big one. "Fuck, this is gonna take a long ass time." He scratched his head, probed the rubble with his foot. "Ain't Cian-sensei say we gotta take care with rubble or something? Better wait for my boi Ryuusei for that shit. Dude's like a cat and smarter than me. I'm Daimon Darren, by the way. From the best class, 1-C," he declared with a grin. "Ain't ever seen your ass before." His grin widened and took a decisive shit-eating quality. "Which must mean you're 1-B. Fuck, I only know Lani and Miku from 1-B. Who even is in your class anyway?"
For better or worse, Masaki was getting an in-vivo introduction to Darren's word mill of a mouth, equipped with no filters and capable of spouting an impressive rate of idiocy and shit talking by the minute.

Dreams breathe life into men. The stars... I'll reach them.
It was time for another one of Cian's Rescue classes and, this time, it was a combined effort between Yuuei and the military camp organized by the government, a partnership that made it possible for the students to make use of some restricted areas of the camp in order to simulate rescue scenarios. It was the beginning of the day so he wasn't banged up from any training. The sparring with Darren the day before also wasn't that heavy, so Ryuu wasn't tired fro mthat - it actually made them realize they were in the same team for this class. On his way to the location, Ryuu couldn't get the introductory rescue class and Cian's words to him that day: "I'm quite disappointed in you". It still hurt, even if paradoxically Ryuu didn't care much about it... It had been some months since that moment so, for this new class, Ryuusei had a clear objective on his mind: I'm going to prove him wrong, he assumed that the teacher would watch everything unfold, whether live or on tape. His Yuuei Training Outfit was too dirty to use and his Hero Suit was getting improved, so Ryuu was simply wearing street clothes: jeans, white shoes and shirt, no earring. It made sense, since sometimes heroes could be off duty when an accident happened. And just not having your suit on shouldn't stop you from helping if you're near... well, at least that's what a Hero should think. He arrived at the meeting point, near the elevators to the underground. Darren was already there talking and talking and talking to the other kid who Ryuu hadn''t ever met before. It was funny seeing Darren in his Hero Suit, Ryuu thought before speaking. Don't take Starboy's words too seriously. He talks a lot of nonsense, but he has good heart, he talked to the kid who was sitting down before bumping is fist into Darren's shoulder in a friendly manner. My name is Igarashi Ryuusei, class 1-A. Nice to meet you, he didn't find it worthy to mention he was the class vice-president, since that never felt true to him. As the same time he spoke, he also lowered his arm, giving Masaki the cue to grab his hand and get up with Ryuu's help. They were going to be working together, so might aswell establish a good relationship from the get go. Once they were all on their feet, Ryuusei began talking again, straight to the point. Sensei didn't even give us a map of the place or any indication on how many victims there are... Okay, let's quickly talk about some things before heading down - he continued - My Quirk allows me to become and turn anything invisible. What can you two do?Surprisingly, Ryuusei did not know Darren's Quirk despite already having been with him a few times. He just never asked. A signal of a real friendship, he believed. The question also had a simple and clear reason: understand how each of them could help in the best way down there. After knowing that, Ryuu would try to come up with some quick strategy or initial guidelines for each of the Squad Delta members to follow down there. It was better to burn a few minutes to prepare things instead of arriving and having no idea on how to proceed. He was going to take the responsability and try to take the role of leader, whatever that meant. It was a question of pride: how good was he at this moment? Not caught off guard, Masaki looked to find the source of the sound. A repetitive rhythm could be heard, and he easily found its musical source, a rapidly approaching blonde-haired student. As expected. No one I recognize. Masaki thought, examining the eccentric figure. He noted Darren's attire, a little on the crude side, but still better than what Masaki had shown up in. Quick to be greeted, Masaki found that based on how Darren spoke; it would be easy to remember him.
He gave the second arrival a slight wave in an attempt to be a little more casual. If his etiquette instructor only knew... Masaki could taste the soap in his mouth already.
Boy, could Darren talk; but, it said a lot to Masaki. At least communication won't be an issue he thought, able to examine the arrivals clearly less formal and more foul language; starkly contrasted by his own. After hearing Darren introduce himself, the difference between them was clear. Masaki didn't mind the eccentric personality, it was refreshing; if not a little wild.
Ah, 1-C, we meet again. he thought, never being able to forget that they were described to him as 1-Chaos when he first arrived to U.A.
Unfortunately, he also learned that Darren had known the third participant; this made Masaki the odd one out today. Listening to Darren make his educated guess, suddenly their third member, Ryuusei, arrived.
Masaki put on a smirk when told about Darren's nonsensical ways. Offered a hand getting up, he graciously accepted it, not seeing a reason to remain seated anyway. He pushed himself off the ground and patted his pants, in an attempt to pat himself clean.
"Thanks. I'm Masaki Takeuchi." he paused to look at Darren And you guessed it, I'm from class 1-B." Never forgetful, he answered Darren's question from earlier. He could think of a handful of people from 1-B, so he just named a couple. He didn't want to go through the trouble of naming everyone, mostly to help move things along. "Tetsuko and Elise are also in my class. Maybe you know them?" he added, hoping the two names were familiar enough to sate Darren's curiosity.
But it was time to move on to the main event, or at least Ryuusei seemed to think so. With no complaints, Masaki listened to him describe his quirk. Invisibility. Useful. he thought, before going on to explain his own. Normally, he would have worded it in an equally efficient manner, but his was a little more complicated.
"My quirk revolves around magnetism. I can push away and pull metals toward myself. But if I try to use both polarities, it will completely freeze the metal objects in place." Masaki added, still trying to lay out the simple version of his quirk. He wanted to ensure that the group had that last bit of knowledge on the table. Who knew how it could be useful? Clearly time to move on, he looked to Darren and raised a hand in his direction; passing on the metaphorical mic.

“Starboy? Is that my new street name, Inspector Igarashi? We’re doing some deep cover shit next?” he joked when he felt the first on his shoulder and recognized the voice of his mate, as cool and even as usual. Poor Masaki was likely to be confused by the private joke; Darren didn’t care.
Ryuusei helped the new boy on his feet and he introduced himself. Darren looked him up and down with a critical eye, nodding absently when he mentioned his other classmates. “Right. The gun bunny and… I don’t know who. Eh, who cares?” He demonstrated that he certainly didn’t with a shrug.
Ryuusei took the initiative of talking plans. Darren shot him a sideways look. If it was Ryuusei, it was alright. He usually hated being told what to do, but he was willing to listen to a friend. The blonde delinquent of 1-C would have taken the initiative himself if he didn’t anyway, so it was all right.
Quirk talk it was. Ryu’s he knew; it had gotten him in trouble on the first day of P.E. classes. The other boy he didn’t, but he was quickly informed that he could fuck with metals using magnetism, or something scientific sounding.
“And I can shoot myself in any direction I like. It’s not the most pinpoint accuracy type of shit, but I can fly, and fast. I’m disappointed, guys. Ain’t y’all seen the uTube videos?” He grinned shit-eatingly. He wasn’t missing a single opportunity to brag about his newfound fame. Right before the military base opened his doors, he chanced upon a villain in the middle of the park. Short as it was, the fight had been heavily mediatized, despite the school’s best efforts to protect his privacy -- something he clearly also wasn’t interested in.
“Alright, now that we all know what we can do, let’s get moving. I’d bet the skin off my ass they’re timing us.” He advanced to the edge of the collapsed station, the regular staircase having turned into a rubble staircase. “There’s something about not stepping on rubble, right? Like you disturb them or some shit and it becomes worse.” He spied a platform in better shape than the rest of the station. “Hold on, I bet I can land over here like a feather. Advance party, baby!”
Without another word of warning, he took a few steps back and jumped in. The predicted trajectory of his jump would have him land smack in the middle of the pile of broken concrete. But predictions hardly worked on Darren. Blue sparks crackled and he double jumped like a video game character.
With another short activation of his Autokinesis, he broke his fall just before he landed on the platform he targeted, light as a feather, as he promised. He looked around.
It was a big subway station, with more than a single pair of tracks, a junction really. The rubble behind him actually looked stable enough that the others could clamber down carefully. The tunnels were too dark to see inside. On on side he spied a mannequin on top of a pillar, and another on the tracks. The rest of the station would need exploring.
Just as he was about to shout to his mate that the way was clear, he heard the clambering of steel wheels on iron tracks. He put his hands around his mouth to form a megaphone of misfortune. “YO, GUYS, THERE'S ONE ON THE TRACKS AND I HEAR A TRAIN, IMA GO AHEAD AND GET IT, BUT YALL COME DOWN! SHIT LOOKS SOLID ENOUGH!”
His eloquent message delivered, he turned his attention back on the mannequin on the tracks. He jumped down casually and trotted to the side of his wooden friend. “Hey there, Stiff Bob. Fancy seeing you there. Cian-sensei ain't never going easy on your ass, ain't he?” Of course, the rescue wouldn't come as easily as idiocies exited his mouth. Poor Bob was stuck under a pile of rubble. Darren started clearing it, throwing the rocks over his shoulder carelessly, as if they were basketballs.
He swore when he saw the train coming. The army really put out all the stops here. The fully functional if outdated locomotive would behead the mannequin in a terrifyingly realistic way if he didn't move his ass. “Alright Bobby, plan B.”
The delinquent threw delicacy out the window and started kicking the rubble off the mannequin, which would have certainly hurt him if he was a real person, but he reasoned that a real person would rather suffer this fate than the fate of a severed head. The image of the very real severed head he had seen when fighting the shark in Tokyo flashed in front of his eyes and he took it as a sign that he was right.
Bobby was mostly freed from his gruesome fate at this point, and it was time, because the train was getting a hell of a lot closer. Damn it, he thought. He bet Cian-sensei was controlling it remotely.
He wrenched Bob from the last of the broken concrete, hauled it on his shoulder and hauled ass with another activation of Autokinesis, just in time. He watched the train pass him by from the relative safety of the platform. “Phew. You gotta watch your ass, Bob. You can't keep getting yourself in these situations. It's not healthy.”

Dreams breathe life into men. The stars... I'll reach them.
We are, and by the way you dressed up I'm assuming we are going undercover on the International Space Station, he bantered back at his friend before introducing himself to Masaki. Just like Yoru, Darren also had the ability to bring out the more playful side of the cold Ryuusei. First to respond to the question related to their Quirks was Masaki, the class 1-C student that Ryuusei had just met. According to him, his power was magnetism, whether it would be push, pull or nullification. It was a really good Quirk, especially for a Hero. Masaki definetely could shine as a rescue Hero, if that was the path that he chose for himself. At least, that was Ryuusei immeadiate thought. A second one occured one, one that he voiced. Be careful when you're around me then - he said while lifting the lower left side zone of his jeans. Looking at it, the big vertical scar that went from the bottom of the foot to about five fingers above the ankle could be seen - My ankle has been surgically repaired, so I have to big metal screws in here, he finished. He thought it would be best to point this out, since he did not know if Masaki could intentionally target metals or if his Quirk just moved everything within a certain reach. As the conversation moved to Darren, Ryuusei placed his jeans back to normal as he listened. It also seemed like a good Quirk for rescue scenarios, due to the mobility and speed that it granted to the blonde kid. A fast pair of hands and legs on a situation where time and efficiency is fulcral is always good. Ryuu's response was regarding the uTube thing though. Sorry movie star, I only use uTube to watch gaming stuff, he said. It was also clear that not ever calling Darren by his actual name had become something of an on-going joke. Ryuusei was smart so he was trying to make the best out of it. With the information provided, he already had a base plan. They had no idea about how things were at the station or how many people were there or the degree of their injuries, so they should start for scoping the place on a quick manner and tag the victims they found according to the priority of rescue - just like how actual medical teams do when they are called to a disaster. Afterall, it makes no sense saving first a person that is just stuck inside a room than someone that's bleeding to death. It would be a good way of saving time and effort while saving the ones who needed it the most. For this Ryuusei was about to tell Darren to use his Quirk to cover the whole area while Ryuu and Masaki looked through the places with most rubble - the ones Darren couldn't safely reach. This way they should be able to find - in, at least, a general manner - how many vitims there were, who they needed to prioritize and who needed to go where. It was exactly this that Ryuusei was about to tell to the two other members of Squad Delta, when... Okay, so firstly we should have Brushy Brows use his Qui-“Hold on, I bet I can land over here like a feather. Advance party, baby!”And, just like that, Darren went off. Ryuusei was actually surprise that it took so much time for him to leave. Just like that they were going to do exactly what Ryuu didn't want: going in blind. Darren's screams could be heard: “YO, GUYS, THERE'S ONE ON THE TRACKS AND I HEAR A TRAIN, IMA GO AHEAD AND GET IT, BUT YALL COME DOWN! SHIT LOOKS SOLID ENOUGH!”Scratching his long-ish hair, Ryuusei directed his words to Masaki, who hopefully still stood besides him. We'll let wild boy be wild, I think he should actually work best this way - a part of being a leader was also understanding how the members of your team worked. Having known Darren, he should've antecipated his actions. As for Masaki, Ryuu would analyse from his actions and feedback and figure out with which method the Magnetic Kid would be more confortable with . He continued to talk. Compared to you guys I can really only give support, so I'll start running around looking for victims, memorizing their locations and aiding the ones I can. Given the situation there must be some victims stuck or impaled by metal objects so be on the look out for those. If you see you can't safely rescue them without support yell for either me or Darre, hopefully we'll listen. I trust your judgement. The characteristic deattached and cold tone of Ryuusei Igarashi was present, the one where it seemed like the kid couldn't really be bothered with the notion of becoming a Hero despite being at Yuuei. But there was also something else. He was playing the role of the leader, but was also aware of his own limitations. He also wasn't just ordering Masaki around - he was trusting on his decision making, relying on him by just pointing out what they both should start doing. Let's make this quick, Masaki-san. And, just like that, off he went, expcting the other kid to follow. Notes: Darren being Darren was hilarious.Words: 892.Tags: @sugo Daimon Darren

Masaki took note of Ryuusei's warning. Fortunately, he could target metal, but that didn't mean he couldn't possibly confuse Ryuusei with the rest of the rubble. "Got it, watch the ankle." Masaki took yet another mental note.
Fascinating. Masaki thought considering the implications of someone 'shooting' themselves in any direction. The fact that it wasn't precise bothered him, considering the nature of their task. "No, sorry I don't really pay much attention to what's going on uTube. And I know I haven't seen you do anything before." Masaki added scratching the back of his head, curious as to whether Darren was someone famous or not. Then again, if he was taking Ryuusei's words to heart; he was better of just ignoring Darren's babbling.
He started to think for himself in the silence; not that he didn't trust Ryuusei's planning, but it was always good to have a Plan B. The station was likely large and there was plenty of ground to cover. While Darren could likely cover the most visible ground in the fastest time, Masaki considered using his metal sensory to detect structural weaknesses and other hazards. Due to the training dummies being non-living, they wouldn’t give signs of life, but if rubble was unstable – Masaki wanted to know about it. Not sure of how useful Ryuusei's invisibility would be when rescuing a mock civilian population, at the very least they could support each in other in their search efforts. Once Ryuusei spoke, he managed to attract Masaki's full attention. With his hand on his chin and one arm crossed over his chest he awaited the master plan.
And then...
...in spectacular and over-the-top fashion, Darren had rushed right in. Masaki stood silent for a moment, staring directly at where Darren used to be standing. He blinked once, then twice. Using the same hand resting on his chin, he held it open in the direction of where their energetic companion had headed. "I... don't know what I was expecting" but certainly not that he finished the rest of that sentence in his thoughts.
He nodded at Ryuusei's declaration. "Doesn't seem like we have much of a choice." Masaki added with a smile, despite being disappointed in having to improvise a bit. He could only hope progress was being made by Darren. But as expected, Ryuusei had come to the same conclusion as Masaki regarding his quirk. Masaki was all too familiar with not having a quirk be completely viable for the scenario, having participated in the outdoor survival training – in a forest no less.
"So, we'll work on what we can independently and convene when we need assistance. For now, that seems like the best route to take given how many we might need to find. I’ll start by quickly finding the limits of the search area and work my way back in." Masaki concluded, reiterating the plan for confirmation and addressing what he would be up to, if needed. He wasn’t a slouch when it came to preperation.
Dashing toward the entrance, there was no way to beat Darren’s energetic and over-the-top entrance, so why bother? He did his best to avoid the rubble already scattered about by the entrance and Darren’s bold entrance determined it was solid. Once inside, he spotted Darren – already having saved a "time sensitive" mannequin. Luck? Skill? Maybe both. No time for praise, he looked to Ryuusei and signaled to him.
”I’m heading to the back, I’ll call if I need you guys.” his voice grew louder and echoed the further in he went to alert Darren as well.
It was poorly lit, as expected after an incident. The lights were flickering and while there were steady sources of light, it grew increasingly difficult to see as he headed towards the far end of the junction. It was an absolute mess, the kind of scenario that would breed nightmares if it were real. Taking a glance to his left, two restrooms; the ladies room was blocked off by a pile of rubble blocking the door from the inside.
He continued onward and called out ”Rubble back here! Women’s restroom!” establishing an area of interest, but he needed to continue establishing the danger zone. Finally reaching the end, he hit the tracks and looked at the black wall that made up a fake tunnel. It was only clear up close thanks to the poor lighting. There there was a flat wall and to his side, a pile of stacked rubble o the tracks.
”This is it for the tracks!” Masaki called out, looking left and right for any signs of a mannequin with a wave of his arms. Preparing to look away, he caught glimpse of a dirty, shadowy beige figure in the rubble. He nearly overlooked it, but the awkward shape of its free arm from the rubble gave it away. Approaching it, he knelt and focused on it – his eyes having adjusted somewhat to the darkness.
There didn’t seem to be any structural weakness here, so he proceeded to start removing his rubble. The fastest way to do this was by focusing on the metal here with his quirk, but who knew what he would yank out. And more importantly, how it would affect the rescue.
”Don’t worry, I’m here now.” Masaki said in a low voice, clearly having to work on his rescue language. He grabbed at the top of the scrap heap and pulled from the top, dropping it behind him before reaching for the next. It only took a few moments to feel the stress of labor; yet, he was working out the nervous energy from earlier. Bit by bit, more of the mannequin was revealed until it was entirely freed.
Wiping his head with his left forearm, he spoke ”That must have been a freebie. I doubt the others will be this easy.” he reached for the mannequin and pulled it from beneath the arms up to the platform to safety. He started looking for the next objective.

“Man, you really do not pay attention to uTube then. They had news articles n shit. Check out the shark incident in Tokyo Park,” he answered to Masaki before he went off to save his old friend Stiff Bob.
Once he was done with that, he set Bob down delicately near the entrance. “You rest now, Bob. I’ll go look for your family. We’ll go get them. Don’t you worry ‘bout nothin’.”
He turned back to see Ryuusei running off to explore and to hear Masaki call for a mannequin in the women’s bathroom. Right, triage. He heard the word in Cian’s classes. They were supposed to check everywhere for the mannequins to see who they had to save first, and that’s what Ryuusei and Masaki were doing.
He walked around the station and found a mannequin handcuffed to the ceiling close to a broken pillar. There was no way to get to the wooden man, or woman, non-binary wooden figure but to fly there. Darren scratched his head. “Man, Mask-sensei really tailored this shit for us. I wonder what he did for Ryuusei.”
As for what he did for Masaki, Darren did not have to wonder for long. He saw a control room overlooking the entire station from behind broken glass panels. He jumped there in a shower of blue sparks, and there was the answer. Another mannequin handcuffed from the ceiling, this time surrounded with nails, broken glass and other dangerously sharp objects everywhere. He figured he could probably yank it off the ceiling with a well placed activation, but he would probably get docked points for rough handling or something. They were probably supposed to act together. He headed back to the window to shout:
“MAGNETO BOY! NEED YA HERE! Hol up, lemme find you a way up.”
The blondie searched the control room for a door, found it, headed there carefully to avoid wrecking his brand new boots. He opened it, went down a flight of stairs or two and found himself back in the station. “This way, Magneto Boy!”
Whether he liked it or not, Masaki had a new nickname.

Dreams breathe life into men. The stars... I'll reach them.
As Ryuusei started running around the area he kept his ears wide open for any indication that his partners for the drill might yell. WIth that in mind, he was then also paying attention to both Masaki and Darren, despite his main focus being trying to find more mannequins - or, in this scenario, civilians - that needed rescue.
He was still near when the 1-C class member raised his voice to warn the others about the women's restroom, which was, according by Ryuu's understanding of Masaki's words, blocked by rubble. He took a mental note. If there was someone inside, they probably weren't much hurt, just not able to exit. Besides, if the problem was rubble, there wasn't much that Ryuusei could do on his own.
It's not a priority, he concluded as he kept moving.
After a few more steps and looking back and forth looking for some signals of a mannequin Ryuu now saw Darren and Masaki walking together somewhere. It appeared that Darren had found yet another victim and probably needed the other boy's help. Darren's pace at finding mannequins was actually amazing, no doubt about that.
Ryuusei, on the other hand, didn't have the same luck... or skill. Contrary to both Darren and Masaki, he was yet to find something useful to the mission, even if he was running around and looking everywhere.
How the hell are they doing this so easily?! he thought, a little frustrated with himself.
Didn't he improve nothing about his rescue capacity in the last few months? If so... what was he even still doing at Yuuei? He stopped for a couple of seconds. He needed to think. And he did so by talking to himself.
Okay, this side of the tracks looks empty and, by what Masaki yelled, beside the bathroom area, his side seemed to be clear too. It's probably safe to assume there's no one left here. So... at this type of location, where could there be more civilians?
He was looking around as he thought of a location. One could say that he was wasting time, but Ryuusei found it better to have a clear goal to run towards to rather than running with no clear objective. A solution quickly came to his head.
Security. This area is a huge junction so there is no way they wouldn't have at least one or two humans physically here to make sure that the response to any sort of problem would be quick. Then...
He changed directions. Running, he headed towards the areas that had signals of "Authorized Personnel Only". After opening two door that led to nowhere, he found it. The area that was dedicated to the security of the entire junction.
There were to halls, each one leading to different rooms. If the tablets at each door were correct, one room was the security office and the other one was a separate one that semmed to control only the cameras of inside that division, contrary to the security office which normal regulates the entire junction. Ryuusei was then at a cross road.
Well, there must be one at each room so... The security office is probably the best option.
His decision had some rational thought behind and not just a flip of a coin. Ryuusei thought that entering the security office had more advantages than just saving the mannequin which was probably inside. If the security office really controlled all the cameras of the train junction then, with some luck, they would still be working. And if they were working then Ryuusei would be able to see everything in the area and find every missing civilian.
As he stepped through the hallway, a small and slow noise began beeping. What? He started to walk faster but, after a few seconds, he could hear the door locking itself. Looking at the walls and their barely noticeable red lights and small cameras, Ryuusei figured out what the deal was. The system automatically locks the door... And by the light even activating God's Alibi would lead to the same thing - he was talking to himself - The beeping was slow, if I ran I could've probably made it... Damn, I'm making rookie mistakes...The door wouldn't probably unlock for some time, so he stepped back. Before leaving the area in its entirety, he took a look at the other hall. The cameras were there - once seen, they were actually easy to notice. But, contrary to the hall that led to the security office, there was no light, which meant... Worth the shot.Following the restrictions of his Quirk, he turned himself invisible, inclunding his clothes. Right now, God's Alibi hgad a flaw: due to the metal on his ankle, each time Ryuusei turned invisible the metal from the ankle remained notable to the eye. The problem, however, had a simple solution: since Ryuu also turned his clothes invisible, his jeans covered his ankle, solving the problem that way. It was something thhat annoyed Ryuusei though: he had to find a way to improve his Quirk and find a soluton for the metal on his body. This time, it was quite easy. The door remained unlocked and, invisible, Ryuu was able to go inside, find the mannequin, grab it safely just like Cian had previously taught the class and go outside again. On his way to leave the victim on the safe area, Ryuusei hurried his step: there was probably more that needed rescue and his partners might also need help. ~~ [CURRENT SITUATION]

Despite this being an in-depth simulation, Masaki still felt the weight of the situation. The types of nail-biting decisions he would need to make with the aid of people he didn't quite know. So far, so good. he thought, pleased that he was able to at least assist with even one mannequin thus far. Unfortunately, time - and Darren, would reveal to Masaki that it was the easiest one he would get today.
“MAGNETO BOY! NEED YA HERE! Hol up, lemme find you a way up.”
Masaki had heard Darren yell out. Magneto Boy? he thought, looking in the direction of the yell. Masaki rushed over, forgetting about the task for the moment to reflect on what Darren elected to call him. Neither against or for nicknames, that one really sucked... for two reasons. He actually knew what a magneto was and secondly, it sounded cheesy; as if it were stolen from a western cartoon character even. Before he could say anything, Darren was already at the base of the stairs ready to guide Masaki up. Entering the staircase, there was a literal flight of stairs in the way.
"All right, let's go." He sat on the metal handrail and reached his right hand upward. Focusing on the highest point of the rail, his body was pulled upward. Not the coolest looking and despite looking elderly, it was a convenient way to avoid using the stairs. Doing this, he was able to reach the top relatively quickly, but in that time, he spoke to Darren.
"By the way, a magneto is a small electrical generator with a magnet. It provides high-voltage pulses. I'm not electricity based, so that's not really a good name for me." he corrected Darren.
Once he passed through the door, Masaki was able to see for himself what Darren called him here for. The room itself was booby trapped, almost entirely by dangerously sharp objects and at the top of the room hung a mannequin. Because not all of the shrapnel were made of metal, it wouldn't be as simple as using his magnet quirk to move them away. However, it was a start.
"Stay there for a moment, please. I have a plan." Masaki politely requested, a large request considering who he was talking to.
Masaki acted as he spoke, trying to beat his energetic companion to the punch. Raising his right hand up, he used it as the focal point for his magnetic attraction. Slowly the metal objects on the ground wiggled in place, before shooting in the direction of the duo. They were small, easy to control and by reducing his effective range, didn't interfere with the mannequin on the ceiling. As they rapidly approached, Masaki was able to freeze them in place before they hit either Darren or himself. Entering the room and avoiding the glass, he fired the junk metal away into the corner of the room.
"Alright, help me with this glass." Masaki started kicking aside some of the glass on the ground to the side of the room with the scrap metal.
"I'm going to pull those bindings off, but you're going to have to catch that mannequin somehow. I can't lift them by the wrists." Masaki added, noting the danger of trying to lift someone by the wrists that way. He believed Darren when he said it was probably timed, but he didn't have any other quick plans. It was times like this where he wished he actually crafted those prototype tools. Ryuusei wasn't here to help on this either. Where was he anyway?
But if Darren had any protests, now was the time to say it. "Any protests?" Masaki raised his hand, honing his quirk in on the screws from the ceiling. Trying to pull anything more could risk bringing new rubble down, so he went with the measured approach. He awaited Darren's response.
--
ooc: If all's good with the plan, you can just assume Masaki pulled out the screws and the mannequin is dropping so Darren can act on it.

Magnetoboy came and followed without protest, except for one which came as a correction as he slid up the handrail -- the opposite direction in which people usually slid on handrails. Darren made a mental note to try that for himself and to never walk up the stairs normally ever again.
“Magneto, electro magneto, who cares, its something to do with magnets right? Magnetoboy sounds better,” he declared in an affirmative tone. Once he showed the kid the room, he quickly understood the problem and why he was needed. Darren continued to comment on the situation conversationally. “See? Cian-sensei wasn’t lying nothin’ when he said those were tailor-made, I tell ya. I saw one up a pillar, I think I’m the only one who can reach that one. I think I’ll need ya to fuck up the handcuffs. I’m pretty sure I could yank them out, but I’m also pretty sure we’ll get points for cooperation and being delicate fuckin’ flowers,” he joked.
Masaki had a plan, it seemed. The blondie whistled and leaned on the wall. “Alright, Magneto boy, do your thing.” His thing was apparently to draw all the metals in the room to himself -- and by extension to Darren, which made him open his eyes wide and a few sparks of kinetic energy escaped him, as he reflexively prepared an activation of his quirk.
There was no need, as Magnetoki -- no, this one sucks, thought the delinquent -- stopped the metals before they reached the pair, and then threw them to the other side of the room. “Man, that’s some cleaning. Warn me next time, though.” Only the broken glass was left on the ground, which Masagneto -- better, but it sounds like lasagna now -- asked for his help in kicking away. Darren snapped out of his nickname deliberations and did just so. Next he was asked to catch the mannequin and if he had any protests.
“Leave it to me, Masagnetoboy,” he answered. He caught the falling mannequin in his arms like a princess bride. “I got you, Bobette, I’m gonna bring you to your husband, don’t you worry,” he told the wooden figure, leaving his schoolmate to wonder if he was insane or just really dedicated to the exercise.
He started carrying her -- he decided the mannequin was Stiff Bob’s wife -- to the rescue area and invited Masaki to come. “ Anyway, man, I found another one on a high ceiling. I could jump there no problem, but i would have to yank the chain out. Here’s the plan: I jump, I catch the mannequin, and just as I catch it you fuck up the handcuffs.”
The blonde delinquent wasn’t considering the distance of the mannequin to the ground, obviously, which was some thirty meters above. He dropped Bobette next to Stiff Bob and gestured for Masaki to follow him again to lead him to the sport.
“I wonder what my boy Ryuusei is doing. RYU?” he shouted tentatively. They arrived at the site of the other mannequin quickly. “Ah, here it is,” he said, pointing up to the mannequin. “Attached to the broken pillar. I wonder how the fuck people would get actually themselves into these situations though, don’t ya. Maybe with a glue hands quirk?”

Dreams breathe life into men. The stars... I'll reach them.
He was running back to where he had last seen both Darren and Masaki - the area near what seemed to be the control room of the junction. He couldn't see or hear neither of his partners as he got closer, so he assumed they really had gone inside, spotted a mannequin and where rescuing it, hence the time they were taking. I'll meet them there, Ryuusei thought, assuming it would be best for the three of them to gather before making another decision. However, as he was running, he caught glimpse of something with the corner of his right eye, something that was important enough to make him stop his feet. That's one of the tunnel's access shafts, Ryuu immeadiately thought as he saw the small square entry point. It was in a dark corner and hidden by some rubble ahead, but that was definetely it. Anyone who had ever been at a junction like that or seen some kind of documentary about construction would easily be able to identify it. Catching it was pure luck though. Ryuusei had used that same path before and hadn't seen a thing. Maybe the tide was shifting. Might aswell try it, he said to himself as he changed direction, heading towards the shaft in the hopes that there would be a mannequin inside. He had to make force for the latch of that entry point to really open. He was able to do it though. Sneaking his head to see what was goin on inside, he looked up. The shaft was small, with barely room for both the ladder and the person who climbed it. Above was the exit point, another small square door with a latch, just like the one Ryuu had just opened. Something caught his eye. It's wiggling - he refered to the open door on top of the ladder. Looking back at the one he just opened, he noticed that it was to moving along with its latch... just like it was making pressure in order to remain open - They're probably connected, which means...Seeing both of the doors having trouble to remain open, Ryuusei insantly thought of what had just happened at the security halls, where the system was built in a way where the doors shutted automatically if they sensed some kind of presence. Could the shaft have a similar system? Ryuusei took the safe option and assumed that was the case, talking himself through the situation ahead. If it's anything like the other hall then I'll have to be quick in order to reach the top before that latch closes. And in a worst case scenario they both close while I'm in the middle of climbing and then I'm stuck inside. It would probably be better to call Darren - he looked behind him, in the direction of the control room where both Darren and Masaki were - But... - he redirected is look once again to the insides of the shaft - The shaft is too small, in this space being that quick could just be worse, There's a big chance of him hitting his head on the walls or ladder and knocking himself out.If it was risky to use Darren's Quirk inside the shaft and if Masaki wasn't there, well... There was only one more person to do the job right then. Okay, being quick. I can do that. I ran with Yoru a few times and I'm able to catch up often, so I just have to be quick like that, he mumbled, as if making himself sure that he could really do it. As soon as he took his hand of the entry point door he grabbed the ladder and began climbing as fast as he could. From his training, Ryuusei had become quite agile and was able to move quickly and easily, without really making much of an effort. It was almost like seeing a cat climbing the stairs - afterall, he called that way of moving the "Maneki Neko". If it wasn't for this training, Ryuu probably wouldn't have been able to reach the top of the stairs in time. But he did. As soon as he crossed the door, the pressure on the latch got to much and it locked itself. Nothing to worry about since, just like the other one, they could be opened from the inside. A few seconds later, he heard the same noise come from the door he had entered from. Yeah, easy... - he panted a little as he sat on the floor, one knee bended in a way that offered support to one of his arms - Don't you think? he asked the mannequin that was also inside that room. He had found another one. Quick to regain his breath, Ryuu grabbed hold of the mannequin in the way he had been instructed to do in those kinds of situations: the ones where you have to carry the victim while climbing or going down stairs or fire exists. As he open the latch and the door, he heard Darren's voice in the distance, yelling for him. Ryuusei held back, expecting the echo from the shaft to be enough to carry his voice to where Darren was. I'll be there in a few Holmes! a nod at their part-time as private investigators. Despite the extra weight, going down was a little easier. Not only because, inherently, going down is easier than up, but also because Ryuusei had took a mental note that the latch from above locked first than the one from below. When he existed along with the mannequin, the latch from above had already been locked, but this one only closed once Ryuusei was already on his feet and inside the junction once again. Let's keep going then.He went to leave yet another mannequin on the safe zone. He saw both Darren and Masaki near a broken pillar so, after taking care of the injured civilian, he went to them. If they were rescuing a mannequin, Ryuusei would probably arrive a few seconds after Darren and Masaki got the job done. I was able to rescue two, but there's probably another one in the security room. I think that it is a job for you though Bushy-Brows, with your Quirk you should be quick enough to reach the door before the system recognizes you. If you follow down the tunnel you'll see the door that leads to the hall with no problem - he redirected his words to the class 1-C boy - Masaki, besides the bathroom, any idea where we might find any more of these wooden figures?~~ [CURRENT SITUATION]
Mannequin trapped under the rubble - SAVED BY MASAKI Mannequin stuck on the trails - SAVED BY DARREN Mannequin stuck inside the bathrrom - ZONE CHECKED BY MASAKI (WARNED DARREN & RYUUSEI) Mannequin on the ceiling of the control room - SAVED BY DARREN & MASAKI Mannequin on the broken pillar - SEEN BY DARREN (WARNED MASAKI) Mannequin stuck in the access shaft - SAVED BY RYUUSEI Mannequin suspended on the drainage system - NO INFORMATION Mannequin inside the security office - ZONE CHECKED BY RYUUSEI (WARNED MASAKI & DARREN) (UNLOCKED) Mannequin inside the camera room - SAVED BY RYUUSEI

The plan went smoothly and by the numbers, all thanks his new associates' execution. Masaki did find it a little concerning that Darren went so far as to name and give the mannequin a little bit of a backstory. But who was Masaki to judge what was normal and what wasn't? The most important part was that that task was done.
Having been told about the next mannequin, the duo - Fast Kid and Masagnetoboy - rushed to their next goal. That name sucks too. It doesn't even mean anything. Masaki reflected on his new nickname, figuring that Bobette got off lucky with hers. Masaki was at a loss, Should I bother bringing it up again? Probably not; believe it or not, the nicknames didn't bother him that much. At least someone was giving him a nickname, right? Right. Although, he enjoyed Yumi's nickname for him better. Then again, he probably would have accepted any nickname she gave him.
Once they arrived to the column, Masaki was forced to look up. It was high up, very high up. Maybe even a little unrealistic for the situation, but it was their test nonetheless. He nodded his head to Darren's plan, it was a sound one and very much like the last one. However, there was much higher risk involved due to the height. He cracked a smile and laughed at the thought of a glue hands quirk putting someone up there. Mostly laughing from personal experience having been stuck to a refrigerator as a kid. If you only knew... he thought, refusing to share the details of the experience.
"It is pretty unlikely." Masaki added, actually wondering what the odds of someone being stuck like that were. He would love to try and calculate that later.
"That's a sound plan. If you can reach that mannequin and bring them close enough, I can break those cuffs easy. But I won't be able to reach them where they are from here, if that's what you're expecting." Masaki added, unable to sense the metal from where he was standing. And if he couldn't sense it - he couldn't effect it. He needed to think fast, but he spent most of his time in his own head. It should've been a breeze. It was, for a lack of better words; elementary.
I really need that utility belt. he thought, as he looked around and used his quirk to sense metal in the vicinity. Sturdy and large enough to hold onto will do. Masaki had an idea, when he spotted a fragment of steel mesh from some reinforced cement. It was small and part of the rubble, but it would do the trick. "Nevermind, problem solved." Masaki added, not outlining the risks quite yet.
"I can get closer by pushing this bar away from me while I grip it. It will pull me up with it and that will let me get close enough to pluck those cuffs. Like a makeshift elevator. Once I'm in range and yank them out, I'll come back down." Masaki concluded, not adding that he can't push and pull metal at the same time. His idea of descending, was more like a sudden drop until he switched his concentration back to the steel mesh.
Once Darren was ready, Masaki raised the bar and prepared to ascend. He released a sigh, knowing full well that extending himself like this would be exhausting. But he wasn't the type to rely too heavily on others and if he did, why bother coming to U.A.?
He pulled himself up steadily, focusing on pushing the makeshift grip upwards and holding it tightly with both hands. He could feel it digging into his hands, making him uncomfortable; yet, not as uncomfortable as the feeling of weightlessness he got from not touching the ground. He was uneasy, and his head began to throb, he was pulling up his own body weight. While it didn't take long at the rate he was moving, the process felt like it was taking an eternity.
A mixed bag of emotions, he relinquished his quirk and re-established a connection with the metal bindings above. He was already dropping, hoping Darren had done his end of the task. There was no way to tell what his companion was doing, Masaki had different concerns right now. Different people reacted in different ways; some people screamed. His confusion on how to react left him in complete silence.
Here goes nothing! thought Masagnetoboy, descending quickly.
Still gripping the bar in his hands, he used both his polarities to freeze it in place. Snapping in place, Masaki's body dangled in the air and his grip was slipping from the sheer momentum. He grit his teeth and slowly lowered, feeling the rough and scratching metal on the upper palm of his hands and fingers. His face was red and the veins on his forehead were pronounced, he finally touched the ground and stumbled over. He dropped the bar in an instant and knelt over, gasping for air. With each breath he he took, anyone could have sworn he held his breath the entire time. He took a glance at his hands and clenched his fists, wincing and hiding the cuts on them.
"Oh, hey. Ryuusei." he took a moment to catch his breath. With that done and the arrival of Ryuusei, Masaki stood up straight with his typical sharp posture and flair. Wiping his head with his sleeve, he listened to him speak. The progress report was appreciated. Five of nine. Well six now. Masaki thought, wanting to count this one. Finally, catching his breath; Masaki brought his hand up to his chin again. Back to thinking.
What was next? Masaki pondered. What hadn't they checked? Security, the restroom was a place on interest, we started by the tracks... and unbeknownst to him, Masaki began to transition from thought to speech. What else couldn't we have checked? These are all the general locations, so we must be missing something... not quite as obvious. The task would get harder the less mannequins there are, and we could end up treading over the same grounds again with no results. Maybe I should reverse engineer the people that would be within the station? Who is in a station? Civilians, security, and other essential employees. We covered most of the place's and Ryuusei came back from security. Hmmm..." Masaki ranted on quickly, but he wasn't done. He tapped the side of his head, in thought.
"So, that leaves the other employees. But what employee's would be here? Not the train conductors. The rest of the staff would have been around the tracks and entrance, not that these were in any logical positions. Who wouldn't have been up front that worked here?
His eyes finally widened, he might have looked crazy - but he had an answer. Looking to the other two, Masaki said one word. "Maintenance." It was the one thing he hadn't checked, and it was possible the others hadn't either. Stations needed to be maintained and cleaned, despite their conditions. They were taken for granted, but maintenance facilities were standard at virtually every establishment. He awaited Ryuusei's call and Darren's next move.

The solution Masagnetoboy deployed was rather ingenious, if a little comical. Watching him get up, Darren mused: “It’s like an industrial witch broom.” His little quip made, he got into position. Right as Masaki reached the correct height and broke the cuffs, he charged his quirk at half power and jumped, reaching the wooden figure before it could gain falling momentum. It was still rustled by the impact, but not as much as it would have otherwise. The blonde delinquent shot a quick look at Masaki while on the apex of his own jump, and it seemed the brown-haired student managed to land jsut fine.
Darren slowed his and the mannequin’s fall with careful activations of his quirk and landed smoothly. He joined Masaki on the ground, and Ryuusei soon showed up. “Hey man, what were you up to? Good things I hope? The kind that raise our grade?”
It was the kind that raised their grade. Darren nodded, still carrying the mannequin in his arms. “Right, I’m on it. I’ll carry Bob Two here to his friends at the entrance and get on that security cam thing. There was one in the shitter too, right? Let’s get to that one last, together. I’ll let you two geniuses think of where the rest might be while I do that.” And with that, Darren was off.
He set the mannequin down with the others and followed Ryuusei’s directions to the security room. He quickly found the place, at the end of a corridor with a bunch of sensor and cameras and the like. The blondie smile, took a sprinter’s starting block pose, changed his quirk and pushed forward aith an autokinetic sprint at full power, leaving a dark blue crackling trail behind him as he dashed to the mannequin, slid on his boots to brake stylishly and stopped himself for real with a reverse activation of quirk, killing his momentum with opposite momentum. He slung the mannequin over his shoulder and carried it to the others, whistling.
He soon found his way back to the others. “Yo geniuses, good news on the brain front? I think we should be about done, shouldn’t we? Where do y’all figure we ain’t looked?” He put his hands in his pockets. “Y’all figure this out, this aint my shit. Inspector Ryuusei is a better detective than I, I’m afraid,” he smirked.
