Akane Satsuki "Try to take every new experience as a chance to grow, even if it's scary..." Crimson Hare A military base… Dressed for action but for once not in her typical UA issue tracksuit, as Akane Satsuki brought her arm across herself and rubbed her bicep sheepishly, she looked around her surroundings and felt more apprehension than excitement at what she saw. Wearing a pair of dark, calf length yoga pants along with a crop top that doubled as a sports bra, for a sense of modesty she also sported a maroon hoodie and a set of sneakers with her garb, feeling she looked a little more relaxed and ready to get involved than in her usual fashion style without showing off too much. However, while the manner in which she had presented herself did not currently cause the redhead anxiety, the situation did.
Mother said I shouldn’t come, that it’s too public without proper PR to use my quirk, but the rest of the class has… Hearing about this event which seemed geared toward welcoming quirkers and feeling rather reluctant to attend if she was honest, the idea of a place with guardsmen, firearms and probably attack dogs was not high up on her list of venues to attend really, and that was without considering the attitude her matriarch had taken when told about it. Kiku Koizumi still seeming to only want Akane to demonstrate her quirk in situations which she could put a spin on, the woman seemed more worried about the PR implications than the feelings that the girl with the green gaze possessed and the impact it might have on her hero career. Though, she had decided to come anyway, if only so that she felt like she wouldn’t slip too far behind her classmates.
I bet Darren and Alex are loving this. Getting a chance to show off and raise hell… Glancing around her environment again and wondering where the more prominent examples of her fellow student body had gotten to, this display of testosterone and ardent spirit seemed to suit the boisterous element of class 1-C especially well but Miss Satsuki definitely felt out of place. Signs for the combat zone and shooting range filling her with dread, she drifted toward the one place in this camp that had piqued her interest, which was the rescue area. Finding she had more of a fondness for pulling people out of danger than battling villains in the classes they had taken, it seemed like somewhere she could develop the skillset that she sought and hopefully benefit from the experience of search and rescue operatives from the military.
Cian-Sensei has taught us a lot of the basics, but hands on situational training might prove invaluable. Especially in places like watery environments? I doubt many places have the facilities to simulate a disaster in a river or on the open seas? Trying her best to focus on what might lay ahead of her rather than how intimidating her setting was, after skirting her way past a fellow who seemed to be escorting a keen eyed canine through the environment, Akane rubbed her arm again and imagined what she might have to do in the rescue setting. The pitch that she had received describing some form of maze type situation similar to the rescue training she had done at school in their facilities, what most intrigued the young bunny was the idea of getting involved in something aquatic.
My bunny legs are pretty strong, I haven’t really tried swimming with them very much even at school? A fair swimmer but certainly lacking for experience in the realms of waterside rescue, she didn’t want to be the sort of hero who would just watch from the side-lines even if her quirk wasn’t built for aquatic environments in the conventional sense. It not an option that she had explored that much but now that she thought about it maybe there was a chance she could hone her skillset to suit such scenarios a little better, while to her knowledge the humble rabbit didn’t tend to go swimming, that didn’t mean it or she lacked the potential to succeed in such an arena. I wonder if there would be some way to accommodate an option for flippers in my hero costume? Mari might have some ideas… Encouraged by this idea and also hoping that the frogmen might have advice on how she might be able to put the legs that had been strengthened by her UA training to good use, there did see a little promise of what the day might hold after all, and even though her surroundings made her feel nervous the green eyed girl was hopeful that she might leave today as a better student than when she arrived. It might prove a challenge, but steadily the Crimson Hare was beginning to show both herself and the world she could face them…

Meanwhile. G was wandering around the military base camp thing. He was still a little lost. He once watched Miku and supported her at the shooting range. And another time he and Chise met in a training area of the combat quarters so he could teach her martial art. But now, out of curiosities sake, G went to the place alone with no clear goal in mind. He was dressed like a typical civillian, he even hid his tattoos with foundation. He wanted to be an average guy exploring this new place. The Combat Quarters did not gain his interest since he was there one and he considered himself a pro ass kicker. He had no need for that.
Then he saw a medical camp. G knew he was a lost cause there. He was the opposite of healing. He only knew how to harm. If he tied to cure someone, he'd end up killing them. Just thinking about it made his head hurt. The Armoury gained exactly zero interest in him, so all thats left was the Rescue Training Area. Which is where he stopped for a moment. And then he reflected on that hostage situation once. The one where he worked with Toma... or Sunhawk "I guess I could try this. What if I need to save more hostages? I need finesse here. I wonder can this offer that lil spark that Im missing" G thought and made his way there

Akane Satsuki "A girl feels lost, but luckily a handsome rescuer appears?" Crimson Hare I wonder what this place is? The redhead pausing as she reached an odd little structure outside which a few people in that by now familiar pattern that made up camouflaged clothing, while Akane wasn’t sure whether she had found the target she was looking for given the fact that she expected watery rescue might involve more water, given the time she had been walking she wondered just how much further her target might be. Looks like some large internal structure… Might the pool be inside? It’s possible but it feels like a rescue training area would be outdoor to better simulate ‘real world conditions? From what she had overheard some of the other students saying, the base had some form of water rescue site that she presumed would be outdoor given the fact it was supposed to be at least the size of a small pool, but as she had been walking the girl with the green gaze had found little more than the odd puddle here and there. Nothing that could be considered good training, that was for sure.
I wonder if I should go ask those soldiers for directions…? Coming to a stop and looking toward the trio of army-looking guys who seemed to be laughing and joking among themselves, given how the site seemed a little lacking for directions and sign posting beyond loose area groups, Miss Satsuki’s brow tightened as her emerald eyes looked at the military men and felt reluctant to go over to them. A girl who tended to be rather shy naturally, going up to people and asking them for directions was something that she didn’t tend to do. Going out on a limb like that something that felt far too intimidating, there was also something about this bunch that felt off-putting as well.
They don’t seem like they’re waiting to host guests… Lingering in the place that she had come to a halt and casting a couple of glances toward the small group of soldiers, the longer that Akane looked at this miniature gang, the more uneasy she felt. Usually military types seeming stiff, assertive and disciplined, those three seemed to be missing the first and last of those traits, to worrying degrees. Drinks in hand and breaking into a chorus of raucous laughter rather frequently, as other people passed them by the souls that stared at them seemed to be eyeballed back in turn and they seemed like friendliness was the last thing on their mind. While this last aspect might be a manner that maybe suited a soldier, in a way they appeared more like delinquents in combat gear rather than an army. It made the rabbit rather uneasy to observe.
I’ll just keep going, maybe there’s some nicer soldiers further along? Giving a small and slight grimace as she decided that even with her nurturing confidence these clowns might be a little more than she could expect to handle, Miss Satsuki shook her head and made to step off in order to continue her march toward the water zone. Then she saw it, or rather him, as a nest of white hair stood out from the crowd.
Isn’t that… Genzu, he said he liked to be called? Glad that she was wearing her contact lenses as her turning motion turned that green gaze toward a soul that looked familiar to the red haired rabbit, the teen spied someone who one might not have expected to be an associate of a shy schoolgirl like she was. Messy white hair a dead giveaway and also something about the bearing of the figure seeming familiar to the femme, weirdly the presence of a person whom she’d only gone as far as to share a trip to the ice cream parlour alongside her friend Chise felt reassuring to Akane.
It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Too long… Instantly remembering the subtle but sort of paternal vibe he had given off when they had been together in that eatery and relaxed a little, Miss Satsuki also remembered the little gift that she had unexpectedly been sent in the post, which had come with a note from this tall figure. I haven’t had a chance to thank him for the present yet… Should I go over to him yet? Never imagining that she might receive a token from a man, especially one that she had sort of kicked in the face by mistake, once again the youngster found her gaze lingering and wondering if she should go impose herself on this odd ‘master’ of Chise’s. They didn’t really have much of a friendship themselves really, but a mix of appreciation and a hint of curiosity seemed to compel her, so the scarlet haired student stepped off a little more eagerly than she had been before.
I wonder if he even remembers me? I doubt it, but I kind of hope so… He turned out to be really nice! The face of the femme gaining a little bit of her signature blush as she stepped between souls who were attending this function and feeling a little haste in her pace, for some reason Akane felt keen on meeting this man even if she knew she didn’t know him all that well. “H-Hello, G-Genzu-san!” Perhaps it was the fact that she was feeling a little lost and G appeared like something that was familiar in this state, with a peppiness that she wasn’t so accustomed to showing the crimson haired beauty thrust herself into the eye line of the boy and greeted this almost but not quite stranger, even going as far as to offer him a little wave and smile as she did so…

The Rescue Training Area. G stood there but didnt go. He contemplated and deeply thought to himself. That wind girl heroine. He forgot her name but she was loud. She was a Pro Hero and she got taken down. Because she lacked training. Just like he lacks now. G does not have proper strategizing abilities. He relied on Susumu during the festival and Toma aka Sunhawk during the big hostage scenario. The point was, whenever people needed to be rescued and not taken down. G relied on other people. He thought, since this is like a siulation and everyone is free to come. Then maybe... he's allowed to try and get better at that stuff
While in thougt he heard someone call out for Genzu. It took him a minute or two to react as he didnt realize someone was calling HIM, not to mention he hadn't recognized the voice at first. He turned around and saw.... and saw.. ? "Oh! Hey you!" he smiled and happily greeted ... ??... "Umm... whats her name again? I remember nicknaming her Punchy Princess, because she looks like a Princess, but delivers some killer blows. Umm... Umm... Akako? Aiko? Akio? Akemi? Akeni? Akene?.. A... a AKANE!!!!" he thought as he finally remembered "Oh hey... Akane? How are you? What'cha doing here?" he asked, but did say her name with some uncertainty because he was unsure if he remembered her name right

Akane Satsuki "Self-Confidence, wherefore art thou?" Crimson Hare Does he… Not remember me? The face of the femme growing steadily redder as the man she recognised seemed to take a little while to realize she was talking to him, while the reason for this was the fact that he had given her a pseudonym he didn’t quite recall, Miss Satsuki didn’t know this and assumed it was because of her. It’s understandable, I suppose, I’m sure he has his mind on more important things than schoolgirls…? Naturally their meeting only a short one, less than an hour and the tall, white haired fellow seeming more focused on Chise than her really, the red faced rabbit felt as if she might have made a mistake in saying hello to this practical stranger and felt no shortage of relief when finally he seemed to show a little recognition.
“W-We meet again, i-it seems…” Mumbling slightly and her stammer strengthening because of how flustered the wait had made the girl, while it had only been a few seconds really, the passage of time had felt so slow and allowed a little of the nerviness she tried to supress return. “I-I’m, um, doing OK… H-How are you, Genzu-san?” Still naturally polite but her confidence faltering a little in the face of the delayed sense of recognition, while the girl had been doing better generally in terms of her social anxiety that unintentional knock made her revert a little and she pulled her hands behind her back to fiddle with them nervously as she lingered in front of a fellow that she now felt very aware of how poorly she knew him.
“I’ve um, c-come to see if I can uh, b-better my skillset… For UA?” The awkwardness escalating for Akane as her internal insecurities began to eat away at her assurance and assertiveness to the degree that despite her peppy opening, the scarlet haired student now found herself struggling to even go as far as to maintain eye contact with the main in front of her as her cheeks shone with colour. He’s probably busy, I bet I’ve disturbed him, haven’t I? The green gaze of the girl drooping toward the ground to hide the disappointment that she felt in the perceived feeling that G had forgotten about her, while she had no idea why such a fact troubled her so much it still troubled the teen who was now starting to think she was more of a nuisance than anything.
“I-I hope you don’t m-mind my coming over t-to say hello? I um, I’m not sure w-where I am and uh, a f-familiar face s-seemed reassuring…” Feeling almost like she was a little girl again who needed to explain her reasoning to her mother in order to assure the man she had met that she hadn’t sought him out to bother him, Miss Satsuki rubbed the back of her neck lightly and felt like her throat was bone dry as she spoke, her nerves getting the better of her with every moment that passed. Lacking for strong male figures in her life and feeling now that she had acted impulsively, if not for the fact that it would be seen as rude the redhead would have sprinted away from this scene immediately, feeling horribly exposed and that prospect of escape became more tempting with every second that ticked by.
I should just go, shouldn’t I? The spell that had stopped her being so much of a wallflower fading quickly and realizing that without the bubbly beauty that was Chise Ishihara the two of them had little in common, the wilting young woman definitely began to suspect she had made a mistake today, both in coming to a place like this and trying to talk to G. After all, why would a cool looking guy like him be interested in a silly little schoolgirl?

G was glad to see Akane, now that he properly remembered her. Sadly due to the shit in his life, he kind of forgot about Akane for a moment. How stupid of him, that was so rude. As Akane spoke he noticed something though, she started being this shy, insecure mess. She was barely able to speak. She couldnt even look him in the eyes as she pulled her hands behind her and averted her gaze from him as she looked down "Well... this wont do" he thought to himself
He put his hand on her shoulder and asked "Hey. Are you ok? Did something happen?" he tried to hunch over to see her face which looked at the ground. G wanted to make sure this was just shyness and not something terreible and harmful or saddening
"Since when were you this shy girl? Last time I met you, you were this brave, awesome and badass hare-oine that defeated a big and tuff baddie like me" he tried to make a pun and put hare in heroine.
Last time they met, Akane left an incredible first impression..... in his face. So much so that he saw nothing but bunnies and stars. He was a bit sore about it. But thinking about it for a while, he did admit she reacted very heroic. By giving her compliments, he tried to cheer her up. Because if he was honest, he didnt notice that much if she was shy or not last time.
"Come on! Did you say you wanted to better your UA skillset? Wanna do something together? I came to try and practice stuff as well?" he told her in an effort to cheer her up... in case she was sad and not shy. Because for the life of him, he wasnt really sure was this insecurity or some trouble.

Akane Satsuki "That was the worst joke in the world..." Crimson Hare Whoa! In the process of contemplating the best way to excuse herself and beat a hasty retreat from the downward turn her day had taken, all of a sudden the chiselled features and wild white hair of the man she had been talking to dipped into view as a large but gentle hand rested on her shoulder, making Miss Satsuki blush at the feeling of intimacy between them. “O-Oh, i-it’s… N-Nothing, not worth worrying about…” Genzu-san seeming to be concerned by the way she had shrunken away or at least his manner implying he was, as further redness spread across the face of the flustered female, she couldn’t admit to the man she had been sad he had forgotten her. Far from friends after all, even if he had made a large impression on the girl, she was still someone he barely knew right? It would be a bit weird.
“I-I um, that time… I kinda flew off the handle, I’m not u-usually so f-feisty, actually?” Quickly reminded of the disastrous first impression she had given the guy, while on the day G had seemed to forgive the bunny girl for her display of aggression since he recognised it as a protective thing, all the same the memory made Akane feel a little sheepish and she looked off to the side nervously. A bit overwhelmed but also a little flattered by the attention she was given, as her face continued to glow the student let her green gaze flicker between the face of the man in front of her and then away from him because she’d honestly never had a boy stand this close to her, close enough to kiss her if he wanted.
Did I make him think I was some wild girl, like Jasmine-san or something? Worried now about the impression she might have left this concerned fellow with given her actions, really given the odd introduction then the trip to the ice cream parlour, it was probably true that the rugged figure hadn’t seen what the redhead considered her true side. Recognising the nervous and easily intimidated person she was as her character represented fully, while there were times when either by will or outrage she managed to show stronger stuff the girl did not see herself this way. In her mind she was meek and weak really.
“W-Wait, did you just say… H-Hare-oine?” A little slow off the mark really given the situation and her focus more on how she was feeling, how her heart seemed to have quickened since Genzu-san leaned in close to her, Miss Satsuki paid attention to the pun he had made and blinked for a second or two before giggling lightly. That’s… Such a bad joke! Rocking a little as she pulled her hand up to her mouth and began to laugh, while the pun was one that she wasn’t surprised by, part of the humour she derived came from the fellow who had told her it. Enough of a rough and tough looking guy that the scarlet haired student had mistaken him for a gangster when she first saw him back at the mall, G did not seem like the sort to make such dorky jokes or at least not in her impression, and the sweetness in the remark made the teen giggle and feel a little warmth inside.
“I-It’s not the worst thing I-I’ve been called, b-because of my quirk, I suppose?” Hoping that her little bout of laughter hadn’t been too excessive or off-putting and feeling a little more relaxed in the aftermath of such an awful use of wordplay, Akane nodded gently and felt her cheeks cool just a touch, showing off a beaming smile as she confessed she didn’t entirely dislike such a term. Dad used to make jokes like that… Meeting this man twice and on both occasions feeling a hint of overlap with her absent father, while the fact that this brought forth a sense of affection perhaps spoke of a lot of unresolved issues, it also meant that such goofiness disarmed her as well.
“O-Oh, well um… I was hoping to head to the water rescue area?” Perhaps the most apparent example of how much the manner of Mr Genzu relaxed the young rabbit the fact that her stammer seemed to quickly melt away now that she felt she had warmed up to him, so to speak, she nodded as he asked about her UA skillset and confessed her intention. He wants to do something too? Is he a pro? Chise called him master… Not expecting a civilian to be all that interested in the activities she seemed to favour so the flustered femme found his interest surprising, now that she thought about it Miss Satsuki didn’t know what he did for a living. The way that he had reacted so well to her attacks and reflexively used his quirk implying he had a certain level of expertise in battle, this combined with the fact that her friend had mentioned him mentoring her implied maybe he was a professional hero like she aimed to be. That was an interesting idea if ever she heard one.
“I think I’d be best suited to um, rescue heroics, but I don’t have much experience in that area? Plus I can’t find where the c-classes are supposed to be?” Perhaps the feeling that her older friend was a hero helping to loosen up the body and tongue of the Hare-oine even more, she admitted her goal as a hero to the man and even the fact that she was struggling to find her way around the camp, before turning her green gaze back to the rough looking soldiers near the building. “I was thinking of asking s-someone from the base but… T-They look a little scary.” The image of those men laughing like buffoons intimidating the girl even from afar, her voice grew lower and she took a half step closer to G without even realizing as she eyed them again, finding his presence an odd comfort even if she didn’t fully acknowledge it…

When G asked her if she was ok. Akane tried to convince G that there was nothing to worry about. If that was the case that meant she wasnt really upset at anything. Just shy. Thats good. The red head proceeded to explain that she usually isnt feisty. It was a fight or flight reflex. When they met, she had a strong urge to protect Chise. But this now, this is her true self. "Feisty or not. You sure left quite the first impression. In more ways then one"And it was true, she did beat him up pretty badly, mostly because he didnt want to fight a girl in a public area like a mall. He did get a bit bruised up. But that wasnt the only impression she left. There were times when he did think about Akane. Like that one time when he was at the beach "#BeachSummerFunTimeParty will totally be a thing one day" he thought to himself as he remembered when was the last time he actually thought of Akane Later when it came to his GENIUS pun, he watched Akane react to it. Akane pulled her hand up to her mouth and began to laugh. G felt pretty proud of himself, he cossed his arms and looked out in the distance all triumphant and proud of his pun "Aw yea. King of Memes. The Master of Puns and Dad Jokes. Nothing can stop my genius. She totally thinks this is an amazing joke" he jokingly thought to himself as he was half serious with those thoughts
Akane spoke up saying that it wasnt the worst thing she was called "Yep. Your Quirk. Packs quite a punch or kick. It's a very impressive gift. Thought I'd acknowledge it and let you flaunt it and be proud of it" he said. She was shy, so she needed positive reinforcment to boost her confidence. As such he avoided saying that it was an impressive QUIRK. That would sound average. So he called it a gift, to try and make her appreciate it more and be proud of it more
Later, Akane admitted that she wanted to go to the water rescue area, which was perfect for G "Really?? That's great. Water is totally my territory and if there's a water area, I'd love to use it. Finally get my Quirk and its full potential for once" G explained, while he wasnt sure if he could summon Goliath still, he had to follow his words that he just said moments ago. Acknowledge your Quirk and flaunt it because you're proud of it.
The precious red headed hare-oine then said that she's best suited for rescue scenarios, but doesnt have much experience in it, not to mention she could not find anyone from UA or her class. G then spoke "Yea, I dont have much experience there too. To be honest I only dealt with villains. I only got to save people like once or twice. But listen, maybe you should forget about doing this with your class or friends. When you become a Hero, you'll most likely do things either solo or with a sidekick. But most of the times its solo. But there will come a time when you and an unfamiliar hero have to team up to deal with a villain or save someone. Life has the habbit of throwing new people at you, new situations. You have to learn and adapt. You cant be always teamed with familiar faces. You get what I'm saying" Saying all of this he wasnt aware that he might confuse Akane on how a 'civillian' could possibly know all this hero stuff, as G forgot that Akane does not know he is a Vigilante
Lastly, Akane said that she wanted to ask the soldiers, but they seemed scary. G glanced at the guys and then looked back at Akane "Wanna go ask em together?" he asked as he offered his hand They could go to the soldiers and he'll make sure to 'protect' Akane, maybe hold her or put his hand around her or on her shoulder if she felt 'attacked' or insecure.

Akane Satsuki "Sometimes having someone who believes in you can make the world of difference..." Crimson Hare Dealt with villains? Saving People? I was right?! The eyes of Miss Satsuki widening as she realized that her little guess had apparently been proven quite correct, because G didn’t specify his precise and slightly unlawful line of work naïve bunny chose to assume that his references were made in response to being a pro hero rather than the vigilante role he actually fitted into. I wonder what his hero name is? Maybe he doesn’t mention it because he dislikes press attention? I know I sure would… The green gaze of the girl carrying no small amount of adoration as she realized she was standing next to a person who was already doing the job she hoped to, the redhead could well understand the secrecy she sensed because she too disliked the limelight really. Not looking for the fame or a big pay check but instead hoping to put her talents and quirk to good use helping people, in the opinion of this teenager a true hero was defined by their actions and attitude over their position in the charts. Still, I’d kind of like to know, I wanna keep an eye out for articles. Oh, I wonder if he’d take me on as a sidekick or something? No, no, you’re getting ahead of yourself, calm down… The connection that the mind of the emerald eyed lass had made compelling her into an internal frenzy, with her irises a little glazed the girl imagined fighting crime alongside a Genzu with a cape and domino mask and it all seemed very amusing, but way ahead of her really. Not more than a few months into her student life, it would be some time before she had the chance to hit the streets, either on her own or alongside an established figure. Fighting alongside G didn’t seem so bad though, really, he certainly made her feel safer after all. “O-Oh, um… W-Well…” Blinking at the question she was asked about approaching the soldiers and finding herself a little confused for a moment because of how she had dipped into dreamland, as the image of herself powing and bopping criminals faded Akane was left as a girl looking at some scary men again, and found her confidence waning away once more. Though not completely. “O-OK, let’s try them, then?” The presence of the white haired hero at her side something that seemed something that both reassured and inspired the girl, partly because she felt a little more secure with G next to her but also because she saw this as a chance to impress him, she nodded and then reluctantly moved toward where the soldiers were standing. “Hahahaha, his face though! Rat boy was so worked up!”“Did you see that tail, it was like a pink snake thrashing around!” Stay calm, you’re not on your own. Just be polite, they’re soldiers, they’re here to support the people, after all? Slipping across the walkway and catching a hint of their conversation as she drew near to the trio, while the topic seemed to instantly make her feel uncomfortable, after glancing over her shoulder toward Genzu-san the red haired rabbit steeled her nerves as best she could and spoke up as clearly and stammer free as she could manage. “E-Excuse me? Do y-you know the way to the water r-rescue?” Stepping in front of the group stiffly and bending in the middle as she offered a rather formal looking bow to the men and then asked her question in an equally rigid fashion. Definitely outside of her comfort zone but hoping her politeness would mean the group showed some mercy and manners, unfortunately this hope was almost immediately betrayed as one of the military mouths ignored the query and instead looked at G and made a rather erroneous remark. One that made Miss Satsuki practically explode with redness. “Hey buddy, that’s a cute girlfriend you got there…”

And thus the two decided to go to the soldiers to ask them pointers, directions or any task or guidance related to a rescue excercise. Though it was Akane the first one who asked the question. He saw she tried to be brave and ask them stammer free. But ... the results are questionable. There was still a bit of stammering, not to mention she bowed to them. G knows this is some culture thing, some japan custom, but he didnt appreciate her bowing down to these guys, especially when one of them spoke to HIM. "Hey buddy, that’s a cute girlfriend you got there…"
G decided to roll with it. He gently pulled Akane to him, so she isnt bowing to them and he put his arm around her waist "Yea, she is. And now be polite and answer my girls question. Do you know the way to the water rescue?" He knew this was a lose lose situation. When someone ignores a girls question or remark and talks to a nearby guy asking if the girl is a boyfriend. That person has no good intentions. G knew if he said no, that the soldier would then try and hit on her or be a perv or have some very sinister and lewd intentions. But there was also another problem. To make those kinds of guys back off, he had to pretend that he's her boyfriend. The problem with that is that he might get a slap in the face after they're away from the soldiers
Nevertheless he went with it and hoped Akane did as well. He was afraid that if he answered truthful and said no, that Akane might end up being harassed. He had to protect her from that

Akane Satsuki "It's funny how your perception can change in an instant..." Crimson Hare His… Girlfriend?! The face of the femme exploding with such bright redness that her hair practically looked dull and grey by comparison, as Miss Satsuki stood there in a state of disbelief, she looked in every direction. Toward the soldiers, toward G and then everywhere else, the scarlet haired student was so overwhelmed she didn’t know where to look and things only got worse when her companion confirmed the fact. I am?!?!?!!?!?! The emerald eyes of Akane practically spinning by the time that her friend casually confirmed the accusation, despite the fact that on some level she knew it was a fabrication, the flustered femme was so frenzied by the situation that for a second it felt like something Genzu was trying to announce. Never having the boyfriend in her whole life but all of a sudden ‘claimed’ by this strong and heroic man, had the situation been different and the rabbit not been thrown into such a state of disarray, it might have made her day. After all, she did kind of like the idea of dating a boy who was a little older than her who could look after her. Calm down Akane! He’s just trying to ward them off… After standing there in a state of overload for a second or two , while her face felt so hot that one could probably cook bacon on it some rational part of Miss Satsuki finally caught up to the situation and reminded her that it was probably G’s way of being protective. Is he worried about me? A good guy at heart and probably concerned for the intentions the soldiers might have had behind their line of questioning, with her green gaze still looking rather dizzy the teen looked toward her ‘boyfriend’ and for some reason saw his features in a new light. That wild and rugged face something that she could actually picture herself nuzzling or going as far as to even kiss, while such images did nothing to cool the emotions nor crimson glow that the bunny girl carried, she did feel a new level of affection for this strange man she had now run into twice. He was kind, brave and seemed intent on taking care of her, and in that instant such qualities made her heart throb just a little bit as she glanced at him. “Whoa, easy now buddy, we were just asking a simple question… With a girlfriend like that, you’re a lucky man!” Naturally the response of the soldiers nothing that would help the flustered femme recover her composure either, while the comment of her pretend lover seemed to make them back off a little, Akane still didn’t feel comfortable about the group one bit. Their eyes... Make me uncomfortable... Suddenly feeling very aware of the eyes of the men in particular and how they kept drifting over and looking her body up and down, the shy schoolgirl felt her skin crawl as one of their number flashed a wink toward her with a smug grin and slid a little closer to G instinctively. Not even realizing the fact that she actually started pressing the front of her form against him like she was a child hiding behind her father, the leering she received made the teen want to hide behind something, anything, in order to escape that lingering gaze. “Wait, since you’re heading there are you guys some of those freaky quirkers?” Freaky? The body of the beauty by now rather tense, feeling as if her muscles were made of concrete, as the lead of the trio looked her over again a wider grin spread across his face and then rubbed his chin, he showed a sense of hostility toward the duo suddenly that reminded Miss Satsuki of her experiences before coming to UA. Often mocked for being a freak or a monster or a mutant by ‘normal’ children in school, she glanced toward the eyes of the man nervously and saw that same look in his eye that she had encountered a thousand times before. That sort of gaze that one would give to an insect or snake rather than a human being. “Oh shit we better apologize then! We don’t want red here melting our faces with her eye beams or something! Bwahahaahaaaa!”
“Hey, is that what you can do, honey bun? Show us a trick then, pretty girl!”

His tactic suceeded as they seemed to have backed off a little when he told them that she was his girlfriend "Whoa, easy now buddy, we were just asking a simple question… With a girlfriend like that, you’re a lucky man!" G went to press further to assert himself as Akane's 'boyfriend' "Yea, I am lucky. And I have to make sure no one steals her away from me" G said as he felt Akane pressing her form against him. He put his arm all protective around her pulled her closer, to ensure maximum contact. He saw the men leering and checking her out all up and down. He needed to make them back off. And of course assert himself as the alpha male.
But then the soldiers finally processed the question and realized they were quirkers. G thought they were retarded and pathetic that it took them this long. The campt wasnt offering free tours to quirkless civillians. But what got him triggered was what words they used "freaky" and "quirkers", G took special offence since he was already treated harshly by own parents for being a "freaky Quirker", with other cases though it didnt help him that he was a "dirty immigrant". He was silent, but he was so mad. Like if anyone can sense the air they could sense immense bloodlust from him. He wanted these guys dead. But he realized he couldnt do that, he had to protect Akane. So he just told them "I'd watch your mouth if I were you, private" he had a very serious and even cold or threatening tone
the guys though didnt take them seriously, or didnt take him seriously "Oh shit we better apologize then! We don’t want red here melting our faces with her eye beams or something! Bwahahaahaaaa!" "Hey, is that what you can do, honey bun? Show us a trick then, pretty girl!"
G gently pushed Akane behind him and put himself between her and them "Maybe I didnt make myself clear to you, you Dandy Fuck. I said, you better watch your mouth or else I'll smash your fucking head in and see if you even have a thing we call a brain" he was serious with his threat. Being racist to him ok. Being racist to both of them, barely tolerable. But blatantly ignoring him and talking down to the girl like that? Unforgivable. Maybe he should beat some RESPECT into them

Akane Satsuki "...!" Crimson Hare Oh Genzu-san… Knowing on some level that what her ‘partner’ was saying was more there as scare tactics but at the same time feeling rather flattered by his words all the same, Akane looked again toward the face of the tall man whom she had bumped into and felt her pulse quicken again, making no effort to resist the way he wrapped his arm around her and actually taking it as a sign she could move closer to him. I kinda wish he’d hold me like this when we weren’t confronted by goons… What does that mean? A sweet and intimate gesture that actually served to reassure her, the redhead lightly placed her palm on the opposite shoulder of her ‘man’ and actually felt embarrassed to be enjoying things despite the rudeness of the people they were dealing with. “M-My quirk is a-actually-” Speaking up as the bunch began to make fun of her and also assert she had some sort eye beam power or something, while the girl only meant to meekly inform these people that her power was far from as dangerous as all that, before she had a chance to fully the outburst from her ‘boyfriend’ stopped her in her tracks. Dandy Fuck? Smash his head in? All of a sudden the puppy dog that G had seemed with her earlier on seeming to melt away and reveal the howl and fangs of a wild wolf, despite the uncouth manner in which her partner presented himself, Miss Satsuki sensed both a sense of protectiveness and ferocity which seemed to at first reassure her, then worry her in turn. He’ll get in a lot of trouble if he starts fighting with the soldiers, won’t he? It won’t be good for a pro’s image… Some part of the girl speaking up that had probably been planted by her mother and telling Akane that she would do well to avoid a scene here, while naturally she felt very appreciative of the attempts that G made to defend her honour and such, at the same time she didn’t want him to get in trouble and opted for a more peaceful approach. “G-Genzu-san, i-it’s OK, don’t w-worry about me…” Twisting her body slightly and then taking a step in front of the white wolf that aimed to defend her, with pleading eyes the young bunny looked up toward him and meekly tried to dissuade her friend from escalating the situation further, even if she had to lie about how she was feeling. “It’s fine, it’s fine… L-Let’s just move on. Please?” Naturally made very uncomfortable by these people and the remarks they had made hurting her delicate esteem, in all honesty she didn’t think she was worth getting into a fight over, and certainly not worth damaging the reputation of the upstanding man she saw G as. Unfortunately, as she begged her buddy to leave the situation alone, she left herself wide open to something rather unexpected. “Ahahahaa! See, the girl likes us, don’t ya toots!”
“Yeah, maybe she likes seeing some real men!”
“Wanna cuddle up with me, baby?” The trio of so called peacekeepers piping up the second that she felt like she might have managed to restrain G, while she wasn’t sure which one of them was responsible for the act, Akane found herself flabbergasted when all of a sudden a loud crack accompanied a rather distasteful feeling in her rear. One of these thuggish soldiers apparently taking the fact that she had half turned her back on the group in order to try and calm G down as an invitation to smack her rear, the feeling of discomfort was nothing compared to how seedy the situation felt suddenly, her reaction fuelled no doubt by the fact that she hadn’t shared a proper kiss with another person let alone let someone have free reign over her body. Degraded by the act and reeling from feelings that mixed together surprise, disgust and even a hint of shame, without even realizing it a small tear in the corner of her eye as the scarlet haired student stood there blinking and blushing, unsure of what she should do next as the men behind her seemed to laugh raucously…

When these sub human pieces of garbage mocked the fine red headed lady about some hokey pokey eye beam powers. Akane tried to explain what her Quirk was, but to no avail. Thats why G intervened and thats why he was deadly serious about beating these troglodytes down. But before he went to take proper action, Akane stopped between HIM and the soldiers and tried to calm HIM down and stop HIM. He did kinda feel betrayed that she'd protect them, he even backed down for a moment. He was hurt and upset that she did this, he knew from his experience that she made a grave mistake, it was just a matter of how that mistake will manifest itself to bite them in the ass. But he hid his emotions. He did not want to give these trash people the pleasure of seeing him hurt.
"Ahahahaa! See, the girl likes us, don’t ya toots!" "Yeah, maybe she likes seeing some real men!" "Wanna cuddle up with me, baby?"
Yep, they were speaking trash. And he couldnt stop them because she pretty much robbed him of his options. "Why did you do that? Look what they're doing to you now" he thought to himself
But then something else was heard. A loud SMACK. G knew what that sound way. It was a hard smack on Akane's rear. They just laughed at her misery, while she had a tear in her eye. That was his last straw. Like it or not, she was gonna MOVE and he was gonna beat them down. And thats what he did. He grabbed Akane firmly by the shoulder and this time he pushed her behind him. No more mr. gentle nice guy. While the shoulders were laughing, he punched the perp, who slapped her ass, in the face and knocked out a tooth. He drew first blood. And he was ready to beat these guys up. He didnt care if it was 3 v 1. He had a Quirk, they didnt. Although, whether his Quirk worked properly or not was still in question. He didnt wanna risk failiure infront of them, so he just attacked them with his fists. While he still had an element of surprise he managed to elbow the 2nd soldier in the gut. Although he couldnt really do anything with the 3rd one G's problem was that. One, his Quirk probably didnt work. Two, he was outnumbered. Three, these werent thugs. They were trained soldiers. And four, he was still somewhat recovering from his last beatdown

Akane Satsuki "Does the girl always have to be the one being rescued?" Crimson Hare I… They…? The cascade of confusion that she was feeling making Miss Satsuki shut down for a moment, internally she wrestled with a battle brought on by a mix of disgust and her own insecurity. A model but her shoots almost always overseen by her mother, any leering photographer or fellow talent would usually be given a death glare by the woman and would be unlikely to ever work with the redhead again really, so despite the misgivings she might have about the way she was raised the rabbit had always had some measure of protection from such impropriety in the form of her matriarch, really. I shouldn’t have, should I…? Was it my…? However now feeling rather exposed and a part of her wondering if it was her own fault she was treated with such a vile vulgarity by presenting the opportunity to do so, even if the more logical and idealistic parts of her disagreed. “W-Wait… G… p-please?” Blinking and feeling as if the world around her was slowing down suddenly as the man she had been trying to hold back suddenly slipped free of her arms, Akane’s hold had been made rather feeble by the slap and any objection that she could raise was more of a mumble that even she barely registered. Feeling as if she had been pulled out of her body and was watching the whole event as a spectator, the scarlet haired student felt numb and cold as her frenzied friend launched himself forward in an act of violence to defend her honour, and a part of her didn’t want him to stop. Don’t they deserve this? Bewildered but somewhere deep inside the shy girl feeling a strong sense of outrage at the way she had been mistreated, for a moment or two she wanted the pro hero to tear these pigs apart because she hoped that would make things all OK, and because of these confusing feelings her muscles seemed to feel like they had been replaced by ice. Barely able to wobble around in order to watch the fight that had broken out as G threw himself into a battle with three unarmed but trained soldiers, it was only when this confrontation seemed to turn against the brave lone man that suddenly the heat within Miss Satsuki seemed to overwhelm the freeze she was feeling and compel her into action. “Not as tough as you thought, are ya, punk?”
“Cocky shit!”
“Let’s teach this guy a lesson about messing the corps!” “No… N-No!” The feeling of numbness and distance all seeming to break away in an instant when apparently the numbers game and a lucky hit seemed to turn the brawl in the favour of those disgusting men, while she mumbled at first the recognition that her friend might be in danger suddenly seemed to fill Akane with strength. "Leave him... ALONE!" Yelling as she flung herself forward in much the same manner as the man before her, and before she even knew what she was doing the form of the flustered femme had shifted fully as she activated her quirk with her hand drawn back and slugged someone in the face hard enough to send him sprawling to the ground. I have to protect him! Everything happening so very fast and yet the white, long eared form that Miss Satsuki possessed seeming to give her that little bit of time needed to assess the situation in an instant, whether it was a reflex from her training or simply a feeling of debt and gratitude toward Genzu-san the girl would not know, but innately she felt the strongest urge to defend the man and reacted accordingly. Her long, strong bunny legs wheeling around as she hopped into the air high enough to vault straight over the head of the average man with no more effort than what an ordinary person might need in order to leap over small garden fence, the Crimson Hare flung the tip of her toe down with such force that it shattered the ground beneath her with enough force to make a small crater as she landed and created a rather stark warning to any who attempted to attack her of what they might be in for if she turned her feet onto human flesh. “Let’s get out of here.” The deed seemingly deterring the soldiers at least for the seconds she needed to crouch next to G and wrap her arms around the man as tightly as she could manage, the focus she had on protecting this paternal figure shone through as she spoke without even a single smaller break in her words as her eyes searched for somewhere to hide. “Hold on tight.” A place that was dark and oddly inviting to her rabbit eyes only a few meters away and making a natural choice for the girl, with legs that were speedy enough to beat even professional sprinters thanks to her quirk Akane dashed toward this cover that she saw with every ounce of speed and strength she could muster and dragged her companion along with her as she did so, despite the fact that it was rather an exhausting exercise really. Gotta get away. Gotta hide Gotta protect us. Perhaps the instincts of her animal form whispering to her as she rushed into the maze that had been set up as part of the event and making it look like a warren of tunnels in which she would be safe, while the effort of carrying a man larger than she was made her pant even after a few seconds of running the girl plunged into the labyrinth and only came to a halt when she felt like her lungs were on fire, having driven the duo deep into the heart this muddled path on a course she had chosen at random in order to throw off pursuers despite the fact that she hadn’t really planned how she would escape before entering this place. That hadn’t mattered. All that had mattered was keeping G safe.
