There was something about the military demonstration that for the most part had made Elise feel like she was attending a festival and who could blame her? In the wake of all that training Elise had quickly found herself fascinated by the power of firearms, and rightly so. In her eyes, firearms were best described as a quirk on their own, versatile and powerful weaponry that could be used in various methods that they truly were an interesting thing to focus on. However, it seemed not everyone shared her opinion about it. Some people believed firearms to be flawed and inferior to Quirks: Lose your grasp on one and you were screwed, if it jammed you were screwed just as badly, so as a result their efficiency was questioned. Others believed that firearms were tools of destruction, meant to kill people and were a weapon not meant to be used by a hero. It filled her with doubt, and so Elise had for once avoided the shooting range and was instead sitting outside the shooting range, enjoying a lunch box Tetsuko had prepared for her. Speaking of Tetsuko, it seemed the girl had gone off to briefly interact with some of her friends, and if she was entirely honest? It filled her with a slightly unpleasant feeling, one that made her feel guilty because it made the girl think: It was much better when Tetsuko cared only about me...
Of course, she was glad she was feeling a bit better, to be able to reach Tetsuko again and feel her warmth again was so much more pleasant than being trapped in that cold sensation she felt after the death of her parents. However, the more she thought about it the more the feelings she had suppressed that day surfaced within her mind. "Why did he have to die?" A feeble whisper as she recalled the news her father had been 'identified'. Indeed, they had found his body battered and bruised, so many injuries covered his being that they described it as being beaten to death. Thunder Shock's goons had killed him and one of their attacks was the cause of her mother being stuck in a comatose.
"Why is she not waking up?" Was it because she was too weak? Was she even unable to heal her mother? If her Quirk couldn't even heal someone, then what possible use did she have? Chewing on the piece of bread the girl closed her eyes for a moment and couldn't help but think back on the news. Darkshine had fought the villain responsible for her loss, but what happened to the man? If she heard right he got swarmed by the police at the end of their battle and was likely taken into custody.
But then what would follow? What would his punishment be for his crimes? Would the law even punish him properly? She had not heard anything yet about him being forced to undergo a trial, and as such she couldn't help but fear that the punishment for the villain would be imprisonment. However, how could that possibly answer the severity of his crimes? How could it lessen the suffering of those who were left behind? Why did Thunder Shock even commit such a crime? What purpose did he have for attacking the hospital?
Closing her eyes and leaning back against the wall she was about to try to dismiss the thoughts from her mind when she heard voices talking, their conversation being one she would have preferred not to hear. "How is that villain doing?" Went one of the soldiers as his comrade shrugged his shoulders lightly. "You mean Thunder Shock? Heard the Colonel places some of his goons as security, they are using him to empower the experimental railgun."
Her eyes widened in surprise at those words: Thunder Shock was here, at the military demonstration?! The location the soldiers spoke about was quite close and familiar to her, after all the railgun had been stationed at the outskirts of the shooting range, she had even walked past there with Yumi recently! However, she had not paid much attention to the large metal structure that rose amidst the nearby trees, oblivious that it had been the prison of the man who had taken away her parents. She hesitated, and yet she felt she needed to figure out an answer, she needed to find out why Thunder Shock attacked the hospital, why her father had to die...
Slowly she rose from her seat, leaving the lunchbox there as she ran into the direction of the railgun. Just as she had anticipated Elise found the railgun unmanned aside from an engineer who was working on it, several cables and similar machinery connecting the experimental weapon to the metal structure deeper inside the forest, and so she made her way over, expecting to find the security she had heard before. Before she could even properly reach it two armed soldiers stopped her, one of them addressing her harshly. "This place is off-limits girl." But Elise wouldn't hear any refusal, instead calling out to the soldiers. "Please let me see that man! I need to ask him some stuff!" The soldier looked at his companion, seemingly uncertain before he asked her. "What do you want to ask him?"
In response to the question, Elise looked up at the soldier and spoke, her tone heavy and sorrowful. "I need to find out why he attacked the hospital.." Ah right, Tokyo Hospital, perhaps... perhaps this kid had been involved? perhaps she had some friends or family among the victims? or maybe she was just curious and wanted to find out what was going on inside that freak's head. Perhaps it would be entertaining to see her reaction to talking to that madman!
"Fine, but don't try anything funny, we're watching you."
And so Elise was allowed access, slowly stepping past the trees and into the small clearing where 'he' had been, imprisoned in a special prison with gauntlets that sapped his lightning abilities. The soldiers could hardly wait to see where this would go.
"So you're Thunder Shock..." Elise hesitatingly spoke before gathering her resolve to look the man in his eyes and called out to him. "Why did you attack the hospital?" It seemed that she had no idea just how much this encounter would have an impact on her...

"You are seriously the biggest pain in the ass, you know that?" Thundershock's voice would sound as Elise started to walk towards him. In front of his cell, there would be an older girl standing there, in full Hero costume with her arms crossed as the two of them spoke with one anther.
"Yeah, well maybe if you stopped hunting me so adamantly I wouldn't be! Maybe with you behind bars you'll finally get the message." The girl barked back, her face covered by a red hood and mask. No one would be able to recognize her as the pop idol Yuri in this costume, and she always counted on that fact when acting as a Vigilante. She counted on that fact when she arrived 'too late' to help Darkshine capture Thundershock and land him here.
"Heh, don't get too comfortable, you'll come around in due time. It's your heritage after all." Thunder continued, to which the woman would scoff and finally turn around to leave. It wasn't until she was halfway down the hall that she saw Elise making her way towards Thundershock's cell and it caused Yuri to stop fr a moment before shaking her head and leaving. It was none of her business...
When Elise finally made it to Thundershock's cell, the man would be resting comfortably on his bed, hands tucked behind his head with a leg propped up. He was doing nothing but seeming to stare at the ceiling, a conceited grin on his face. At first, when Elise spoke he just assumed that Yuri had come back to speak to him, but the difference in tone caused Thunder's eyes to shift towards the open cell bars. This girl was different, much younger and...
'Why did you attack the hospital'
'Another one... fucking annoying brats' Thundershock thought to himself as he remained in his position, the only answer that escaped his lips no doubt enough to infuriate the young girl.
"I got bored" He lied, the slightest shrug of his shoulders indicating he wasn't at all interested in this conversation.

As Elise approached the cell that Thunder Shock was contained inside a mysterious woman in costume was talking to the man, their conversation difficult to overhear due to the distance, but by the time she reached close enough they had already stopped talking and the hero turned toward her, seemingly walking away. Now she thought about it, she still had no idea why exactly she had decided to take this drastic decision. She should have avoided talking to the man responsible for the death of her father and the comatose her mother found herself trapped within. What answers could she possibly find by talking to Thunder Shock? She was not sure, perhaps a part of her secretly was praying that there might had been a reason, a complex decision that had driven him to commit those crimes. She wanted to find out what was going on inside the man's head, so that she could reaffirm her hope that her father had died as the unfortunate victim of a deeper conflict, that he had perished because there was a reason for the attack. It wouldn't lessen the pain, far from it but at the very least it would make her feel that his death wasn't without a reason.
Never did she imagine how wrong she would be...
The man barely even lifted his head, but that look in his eyes was enough to make her feel a familiar unpleasant sensation boiling up within her heart. That look reminded her of those eyes that refused to acknowledge someone, as if she was far beneath him to the point she might had been an inferior being. However, those thoughts all were flooded away when he finally answered her question. "Y-You were bored?" She repeated in disbelief, her eyes widening slightly in shock. Was that his reason? Was the reason behind the nefarious attack on Tokyo's Hospital at the hands of this villain all the result of a ridiculous attempt to get rid of the boredom that plagued him? Her body trembled lightly, visibly shaken by the answer while nearby the two soldiers were smiling at the scene that was unfolding before them, they did love it when Quirkers like them suffered.
"IS THAT WHY MY FATHER WAS MURDERED?!"
Shouting out in frustration the girl raised her hands, balling them up into fists as she slammed them lightly against the rails of the prison.
"BECAUSE YOU WERE BORED?!"
If eyes could kill, then the glare that she send his way would likely have been akin to being stabbed repeatedly with a knife, there was no place for acts or masks, not in front of the man who had been responsible for her suffering. "While you were playing around on the rooftop your men attacked the civilians inside the hospital. You attacked a place of rest and recovery, where only the weak and injured are because you were bored? You're a coward!" Another slam of her hands against the railing was made. Why exactly the hospital? There were pretty much no guards there, a minimal resistance and unless there was someone there that had been tied to Thunder Shock the only reason she could imagine a man like him to have would be to cause a maximum amount of chaos in the most painful way possible with the least amount of resistance.
Her fingers curled around the bars as she gripped them tightly, trying her best to resist the urge, but the moistness in her eyes had started to gather. This had all been a mistake, she shouldn't have expected this man to have had a reason, to have had a purpose behind his actions. "Maybe Hachi-sensei was wrong..." Elise muttered softly as she looked up at the man once more, the same feeling from before rising up in her heart. "When Darkshine fought you I still had hope..." She lowered her gaze as she muttered softly, something under her breath that was barely audible before she continued. "I'm sure you must be quite entertained now, right? You were able to have your 'fun', and because of those fucked up laws all you got to worry about is rotting inside a prison!"
There was no doubt about it, because of the laws Darkshine likely spared the villain's life, it was likely that he would go to prison and spend the rest of his life behind bars. But what would that do for the victims? That would it do for those who were left behind? Could one truly say that justice was given that day when all they would do is lock the man away inside his prison? She felt her hope slowly darken, her legs shaking as she collapsed lightly onto her knees. So her father truly had died for no reason other than a villain's boredom...
"Thunder shock..." she paused for a moment as she slowly climbed back onto her feet, and at that time something eerily happened. She looked up at the man, and for the first time ever since their conversation a smile graced her lips. A warm and gentle smile yet the emptiness in her eyes clearly suggested something far more sinister. "I really hope you will escape someday." Startling words for sure, but the meaning behind them would surely be explained soon afterward. "So that I can be the one-" Yes, sometimes villains might have been redeemable, she knew well enough that some of them were simply people who committed petty crimes, but a man like Thunder Shock? A man who showed no remorse about his crimes and went so far as to do such wicked things? A villain like the man before her didn't deserve prison, he deserved only one punishment. "To kill you~" Yes, that was the way she would avenge her father and all the others that had suffered, by making Thunder Shock experience the same agony, and in the end get killed so that she would be able to properly ensure he wouldn't harm anyone else...

'Her father hunh. Hah' A legitimate smile crossed his lips as the girl started screaming at him about the Death of the man. Looks like he had been one of the men who had succumbed to his men at the hospital. Looks like he had served his purpose, and served it well. With that mans death, this girl was starting to feel vengeance growing in her heart. Even though he wasn't fully looking at her, he could tell that she was already straying from the path of a true hero. Good.
He would prop himself up on his arms, then up to a seated position, the bandaged covering the wound from his battle with Darkshine still visible around his neck. Sitting up though, it was easy to see how this hulk of a man had created fear among the masses. As Elise stared at him with a cold, murderous gaze, Thundershock would only return it with an amused smirk on his lips.
"Super fucking bored. This 'Hero Society' the government is trying to create is such a farce. What better place to hit than a hospital to show them just how weak it is? You want me out of this cell, you want to fight me?" With that Thundershock pushed himself up to his feet, towering over the young girl as he walked over to the entrance of the cell.
"Then get ready little girl. Feed off of that hatred you have for me and become strong enough to kill me. I don't have time to fight every panzy ass hero wanna be that comes my way, but if you're serious, then when that time comes, I'll even give you the first strike" He even went as far as to pull open the prison jacket he was wearing, exposing the left side of his chest where he could easily get a jab at his heart. He was clearly taunting her, leading her down a path that no Hero would take. If more kids like her hated him, hated villains, then yes more might flock to the ways of a Hero... however, if they wanted villains like him dead, then they were no different than the villains they hated. That's what made this Hero society fragile. He'd expose it, corrupt it and bring Japan to it's knees before him.
"You won't have to wait long."

We aren't superheroes
It were words that resounded in Elise's mind, a memory of her recent conversation with her new homeroom teacher. Back then Arata had told her how she still saw everything too much in black and white, and that there were countless shades of grey in between, and that nearly always did humanity find itself amidst those shades. She was fairly confident there certainly were more than fifty, but now that she looked at the man before her, she couldn't deny the thought that Thunder Shock as a human being had his heart dyed a pure black. She still glared at him, unable to shake off the thought that haunted her mind as she silently watched the man raise himself up into a seated position. The way the bandages covered his body made it evident that he was still injured, that he was still far from his prime condition. It must have been the result of his battle with Darkshine, and yet Elise once more felt that gloomy thought surface within her mind: Why did Darkshine not kill him? What possible reason did she have to let this man survive? Was it because she was too weak? Was it because she felt the law had to punish this man for his crimes? What use did laws have against someone who ignored them? Oh how much she longed to try to snatch the weapon of one of those guards. She didn't even need to grab their rifle, she was confident that if she had the chance to get even a hold of a handgun it would be enough, surely with her aim she could run a bullet through the man's skull.
The feeling of hatred clearly didn't disappear when she noticed that amused smirk he send her way. It was so infuriating, so immensely annoying that she wished she could have punched him right in the face, a good right hook if not for the fact she'd likely injure her hand more than his fist. After all, Elise von Eisenberg had spent an upbringing of a healer, she had never trained in martial arts before and aside from her gunnery skills, she was awfully lacking in the combative department. "That hospital had no ties to the Hero society that the government tries to build. The people you killed that day were ordinary citizen, most of them even injured and helpless, which only affirms my earlier comment that your actions were made out of cowardice."
Yet as he asked if she wanted to fight him she merely shook her head. No, she didn't want to fight him, not at all, to fight him was to give him the delight of causing more chaos. "I don't want to fight you Thunder Shock..." a contradiction to her earlier words perhaps, but she soon clarified her words further. "I simply want to see you dead. That is why, if you do ever get out of that cell, we'll meet again." She watched the man open his prison jacket, exposing the left side of his chest where she could easily get a jab at his heart if desired, but instead of taking the bait she couldn't help but smile. "Nonetheless, your generosity is appreciated Thunder Shock."
She truly sounded like she was grateful for him, or rather something he said, for after a moment she averted her gaze from him, even if for only a moment to conceal her changing expression when finally she looked back at him, a light raise of her hand following as she pointed a single finger upwards at the sky. "You promised me the first strike, right?" She waited for a moment, as if to ask him for confirmation on his earlier statement while she looked up at him and exclaimed confidently. "That's all I will need Thunder Shock. The next time you'll see me outside of this prison cell?"
She couldn't resist it, the hatred being funneled by the man's behavior was so intense that the hatred caused her to smile once more, that smile that was accompanied with such intense bloodlust. "Will be when you're dying at my feet." She turned her back toward him, preparing to walk away but after a few steps, she raised a finger again into the sky. "One strike is all I'll need, for you won't be fighting a hero..." She shook her head lightly, a hero wouldn't have fought for the sake of vengeance, wouldn't have wanted to kill a villain even if it was the thing she considered the right thing to do. "You'll be fighting someone entirely different."
A few more steps followed as she started to leave his cell behind, but not before repeating a certain set of choice words that were spoken by the man earlier. "You won't have to wait long." She needed to get out of here, away from this prison before she would cease having the willpower to resist the temptation to try to kill the man right there and then. Then again, she doubted she had the strength to surprise one of the soldiers, not to mention the sheer amount of troubles it would cause for Touma and Tetsuko. However, for a moment she couldn't help but think back about the woman in a hero costume she had seen earlier. Was she a part of the security detachment? She did hear something that Thunder Shock's presence here was only temporarily, a transit to a more specialized prison where he would undergo a proper trial for a villain like him. She still disagreed with the thought that a trial could be given for a man like him, but perhaps that was a flaw with the laws of this system itself. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she felt her smile waver, a scowl emerging on her face as she continued walking. Maybe she needed to talk to Tetsuko or her teacher, maybe Touma could help her figure out what to do with those feelings.
Because else Thunder Shock might had just made himself the target of someone who was on the brink of straying from the path of a hero, into something much darker...
