PERSONALITY

Shimato is a gearhead villain who spends most of his time committing crimes to get the components necessary to complete whatever car or machine he's trying to fix. Because of this, it's understandable to believe that Shimato often cares more for the company of his projects than other people. He does enjoy talking with people that he can get along with, which doesn't tend to be too many people. His brash personality tends to push away many people, despite the fact he would stand by just about anyone that proved they were worthy to be trusted and stuck around.

Shimato generally believes himself to be the perfect demolitionist and thief and will challenge anyone who questions his claims. He is voracious in his attempts to one-up others, making it his singular objective. His pride would not allow him to act any other way.

Despite his nature as a villain, he's surprisingly a trustworthy businessman, as he's never screwed over someone who has come to his garage. He prides himself on his ability to fix things, and he shows that by doing a good job.

As a villain, Shimato doesn't care at all for those he might harm. He takes from anyone he wants to, when he wants to, however often he wants to. He doesn't care for anyone that gets caught in the way of his work, unless if they are possibly an ally. There is some honor among thieves, in his mind.

Shimato is a man with bright pink hair, intense, similarly colored eyes, and pale skin.  He tends to wear mechanic jumpsuits of various colors and designs, but frequently wears a yellow one with several patches on it. His hair is often covered with a black beanie, but he's occasionally seen wearing a black headband or a backward baseball cap. He tends to carry several small tools on him (screwdrivers, wrenches, etc) in his pockets. Shimato ordinarily doesn't care what shoes he wears, bouncing between a pair of yellow sneakers and a pair of brown work boots.

HISTORY

All things considered, Shimato had an alright childhood. His parents were mechanical engineers who attended Tokyo University, and both had quirks that made them spectacular in their field, despite the fear that many had of quirks during their generation. His father could create nanomachines that would assemble things to perfect specifications, while his mother could produce 3D wireframe representations of designs in her head using light. They were highly sought after by companies across Japan, and they would often let other companies buy out their contracts for the money that provided.

Shimato was often left alone as a child, due to the amount of work that his parents did and because they didn't care for his quirk. Turning into a large, 2 meter tall termite-like creature that could eat through non-living objects wasn't exactly something they could market to make their family look even more promising. As a result, Shimato became very abrasive due to this lack of attention and began rebelling from a young age. He would beat up other children for picking on him, clawing and biting them in his termite form form. This trend continued for most of his life, with Shimato committing crimes and his parents paying exorbitant amounts to keep it from affecting them.

Around the time that Shimato became 18, he immediately left his parents home. He'd ran away many times before, but this time, he couldn't and wouldn't be stopped. Despite his hatred for his parents, he'd developed skills with machinery over his life, and opened a garage nearby to Dagobah Beach in the Musutafu area. The money to start the business came about from a few weeks of stealing from small businesses across the city, with the building being bought from a shady individual wanting to get rid of a building that was formerly used for some nefarious reason or another. Shimato didn't care to ask.

With his cover business/hobby area secured, Shimato has been working as a Villain and a mechanic for 4 years now, referred to by the public as 'Termite'.
