ポ ス ト を 開 始 Idle chatter filled Tokyo City's business sector as people gathered around a stage. A podium stood littered with audio equipment. A red ribbon adorned a set of wooden pillars on the stage placed directly outside the doors of a recently renovated forty-eight-story building. The foot traffic of hard hat, blue-collar workers could be seen coming and going from inside the building, cranes worked in tandem to hoist a sign as a team of hoisted workers repelled down the building's fore to fasten the gargantuan sign to the building. A man dressed in a solid white suit accented with black walked to the podium, buttoning his jacket as he approached. A quick flick of his wrists snapped the jacket straight. The sound of machinery seized and the crowd soon after. With a closed fist, he cleared his throat before proceeding. "Thank you all for coming." His collected demeanor was unfazed by the masses and cameras affixed to him. Standing behind him were other officials of the same garb missing the black accents to set them apart. Among the crowds and city were vigilantes and heroes assigned to him by the government to keep things in order if anything were to escalate. With this, he felt capable of conducting this without meeting without revealing himself as a quirker himself. He'd use this as a footing for his dialogue. "Today marks a monumental day for our nation, Japan. Today marks a monumental day for the world. We gather here today to celebrate the rebirth of a once-great lineage created by generations before me. A lineage that I believe can bring balance back to this world in these times of chaos. These times of uncertainty." Pausing for a moment he raised a martini glass, winking at a female at the front of the crowd before taking a small sip. "Allow me to share with you, the history of the Hyozan family. Many years ago, around the initial outbreak of the phenomenon known as quirks my father, his father... my aunts and uncles... They all banded together with their many years of experience in law to ensure the safety of all people.
They defended the innocent and damned the guilty. Helped to mold the justice system in these difficult times. Worked alongside quirkers that had solid track records of good deeds and built a team. These initial steps can be seen as one of the many bricks that led to the foundation of our Hero Program today. The death of my father, Shen Hyozan, and many vigilante heroes so many years ago is a testimony to the filth that plagued the streets then. Today, the number of quirkers has steadily increased. With that, we have produced a great number of virtuous heroes, with no help of myself, of course..." A soft chuckle left his mouth. "You see, when my father passed, I lost everything. I lost my sense of purpose, motivation to continue, and most importantly my resolve. Luckily, I was able to realign myself in the great books of law that we have here for this land. I buried myself in information as my fathers before I had done, and I come to realize why they did it...
They did it for you, the honest, hardworking citizens of this great nation. I owe my entire life to each and every one of you in this city, for without your support and petitions to have this building renovated instead of demolished, I would not be standing before you here today. You believe in the legacy that was left at my feet and I will prove to you that I am worthy of holding it." He paused once more to sip his martini. Chatter beginning to rise among the crowd. "Now then, I bring forth to you today a promise. I urge you to hear me out and not cast judgment before you take into account the benefits of what I am about to say. Among the many of you are quirkers. Whether you know it or not, the person next to you could very well be one, there's no way to always know. Does that make you feel safe or uneasy? It's hard to say, personally. At any moment someone could spring attack upon us and bring catastrophe just for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. However, where there is that one bad apple that has fallen from the tree there are many other that are ripe and notorious that should put your minds to ease...
It's all pretty human, really. The human race's patterns have never changed, but we don't cast judgment onto our neighbors for simply being themselves. That'd be unfair... at least I believe so. So why do we do this to quirkers, why do we damn them for their births instead of uplifting them and putting them into a position to help us. There are so many quirks in this world that could benefit every facet of our life. With that statement, I wish to proceed..." The crowd's voices began to grow in volume, chatting amongst themselves. Some derogatory terms and slander toward quirkers as well as Hyozan could be heard shouted amongst the crowd. "Settle down... Settle down... Let us be civil. No need for conflict." Though his words were ignored, as unfortunate as that was. In meetings of his past, with the Yakuza, he would have simply maimed the person that lashed out and made an example of them, but he now had an image to preserve that didn't resonate with that of a thug. Instead, he had to look forward and move on. "With the opening of these doors and cutting of this ribbon, I will stand alongside all people as my family has done for many years. Whether you're strong or weak, it makes no difference. In these daring times of uncertainty we need unity to grow and prosper, look beyond what is directly in front of us and find a future where there is peace instead of hostility. We are only feeding into the chaos by fearing quirkers. I believe we should start a movement to slowly introduce new laws that will benefit society and show the merit of these humans ostracized. To put our mistakes behind us and let them flourish within our businesses and boost our economy.
I believe that we have the technology to create pharmaceuticals that will help young, adult, and old quirkers stabilize their powers and help them learn more about their capabilities in safe facilities. We can help these people that need our hands so desperately, all we need to do is reach out and touch them. All we need to do is coexist. Please, reach out to your local government officials and aid me in requesting the help these people need so that we can all live in harmony.
So I say again, as I walk over here to cut this ribbon and open the doors of my family's lineage to the world. I believe in a world of quirkers and I will work aside both quirkers and those without to ensure the prosperity of this great nation, my home." With his final words, he finished his martini and grasped the katana propped up against the podium. A sinister smile crept upon his visage as his back turned from the crowd. A swift upward movement with the steel cut the ribbon clean it slowly falling to the ground as a cool chill beckoned his associates. A few objects were tossed at the men as they proceeded inside as the crowd started to chant against his movement. Though among the few that opposed him, many stood with him in the crowd and chanted against them. A time of discourse had been laid upon the people of Japan, a time to open dialogue and speak on the topics in civil discord. And if it couldn't be achieved among the streets, he would find his ways within the courts. The future of the Hyozan Law Firm was here. エンドポスト

Things have not been going too well for Amare recently. After his argument with Lewis and his public display that caused a lot of backlash against the group, Amare had taken or rather was given this guard detail mission to not only help his public image but also the ruined image he caused during his latest stunt. At the time he knew that it was not his fault(his main reason as to why he has not yet apologized), but it was the way that every other thing that happened afterwards was said to be a result of his one action. It was unfair that he was made to carry the burden of the mission almost failing and the further endangering of more lives, but collateral is expected when fighting other quirk users right? As long as they're stopped from killing more people how the heroes get to that point should not matter.
A point he brought up in private amongst the others in the organization along with his suggestion for self appointed leadership. Needless to say it decision was not made and with his ability to feel a room, Amare knew that it was better than the decision was not made. It was clear on their faces that Lewis was more of a leader than Amare could ever be, and that just added fuel to the fire.
So here he was in the field doing his best not to stick out amongst the civilians. Here alongside the policemen and women for the better half of the day, the dark-skinned teenager was beginning to understand the smaller nuances that came with working as a hero or soon-to-be. Although he would of enjoyed beating some unsuspecting villain or criminal in their face right now, the current situation demanded his full attention. He was sent here to aid the police in a basic guard detail of some dignitary. He seemed important enough however from asking around and doing some research on his phone, Amare was able to find out what publicly was available to learn about this guy named Ky.
From what he could find out Amare thought he was an alright dude. His family had done leaps and bounds for the community and by extension the country and it appeared that after their deaths, their son was ready to take up the mantle and keep things going. As he spoke Amare tuned in to really get a grasp of what was being said and why this large crowd of people seemed to hang onto this man's every word. Things seemed to be going well until Ky began to reach what Amare assumed was the main point of his speech. The equal treatment of quirkers and non-quirkers. Suddenly as if he blinds had been lifted Amare instantly felt the eyes of several people on him.
Were they all people who did not sympathize with quirkers? Yes some people in the world had been born with abilities that others could not dream of having, but that did not mean everyone wanted the gifts they were born with. Amare personally knew of a boy who ignored his quirk and never bothered to practice or control it. Despite his warnings, Amare was one of the few who were called when the boys quirk went out of control causing several other civilians to get injured. Were there really drugs or people who knew of medicine that could help prevent things like that from happening? Snapped from his thought process were the disgruntled mumbles and outright negative verbal outbursts of the some of the attendees. Switching into gear as a reflex, Amare's eyes darted around for any overly aggressive people. With his quirk he could take more than a few punches from anyone here and be capable of dealing that same damage back to them. Not many people are still willing to fight after getting punched in the face with the strength of their own punch.
However it seemed as though his help would not be needed as the police jumped into action before he could. Perhaps it was because he was more used to quirked individuals causing trouble that he reacted slower than what was expected of someone of his station. "Might wanna get you closer to the podium there, incase anyone of these guys get past our line." One of the policewomen in charge said in a whisper to Amare. Nodding to confirm he heard what she said in the crowd's noise, he moved effortlessly through them towards the front. Nodding to the line of men and women of the law as they let him past, Amare stepped up just as the first items started to fly onto the stage. Most were harmless, a few empty cans and full water bottles were tossed and Amare jogged gently to and fro blocking them from actually causing any harm.

ポ ス ト を 開 始 A sigh of relief brushed through his pressed lips as he palmed his eyebrows with anxiety. Ky had never given such a display amongst so many people, and while he was steel in front of the cameras he doubted there was a human in existence that had the charisma to not be fazed by something of that caliber afterward. His lips grew pale for a moment so he pressed on to the bathroom in the lobby, pushing aside a few plastic drapes that remained from the construction. His sights drew upon the podium once more, his stomach growing ever so nauseated by the sight. Yet, with a closer look. He could see the calamity and rioting that had commenced at his departure. His numbness during his speech made him blind and deaf to the truth of his words in the people. He smirked for a moment before seeing the quirker blocking debris and garbage from hitting the building and passing the podium. His movement paused and he gazed back to his adversaries that were speaking among one another. "Wilkins, trade places with that man. I'd like to have a word with him." He coughed, pulling a handkerchief from his jacket pocket and crumbling it in his hand. He'd signal his hand to Wilkins as he passed, Wilkins gave him a disgruntled "OK, boss." Understanding that he wanted the place for their meeting to be held in the bathroom. A place where there was no surveillance on this floor. Simply a one on one, he'd know that if their conversation were to be leaked it would only be done so by the single individual he invited. If the man were to accept the invitation, he'd be directed by the other colleagues of Hyozan-sama to the bathroom as they carried on with their casual conversation, not paying much if any attention to the matters outside. Ky pressed his hands upon the counter, staring at his pale face in the mirror. He turned the faucet ajar with a deal of aggravation as he continued the staredown, falling into deep thought over his performance. While his words seemed to resonate with some, he didn't expect to stir the pot this much so early on. Sure, the general idea was to create discord amongst men and eventually work his way into a political office of some sort to better seat himself for his goals, but this was a bit too much to start with. People were so moved by words and always detoured by actions. A pity, really. For so long he dreamt of these moments, all the tireless hours he poured into his studies while also heading a Yakuza Organization. He wanted to complete the work that his family did but in his own way. As he was not like those before him that led this law firm. His abnormality compared to the past representatives that held his position held no true power as he did. Nay, they were weak because they were humans. Quirkless. Unable to bring the fight with their words. While he planned to keep his quirk a secret until it was necessary to act, he still planned to ensure that those that did see his face while using his quirk would not remember it. Bringing the warm water to his face and smearing it, he'd wait for his first client. エンドポスト

After being traded with another guard, Amare followed deeper into the building to where the speaker seemed to be resting. Alot of what he said seemed to resonate with Amare, mostly that stuff about how quirkers deserved to be treated better and with a bit more respect. To be fair, it was quirkers in the form of heroes that were doing most of the police work in the field. The civilian unit mostly handled evacuations and things like that. Getting closer Amare would clear his throat so that the man would know that he was arriving before he started to speak.
"Uh hey ma- sir? That was a great speech you gave out there. I'm Redeux ugh...actually hate that name, but haven't thought of a new one to change it to. You can just call me Amare, I'm the hero assigned to your guard detail."
Feeling the negative thoughts swirl in, Amare took a second to sort them out before continuing.
"It sucks that majority of them out there don't think the same way. I've had my fair share ignorance and sometimes I feel like things would be easier if I could just..."
What the hell dude. Why are you going off like this, you barely know this guy. Can you relax and be professional for once? This is what Lewis is winning. This is why the others at the organization do not like you.
"I'm only good for violence apparently...but I'm working on it. See, I apart of this organization that connects heroes and sidekicks together. We've gone on missions and well...I haven't been doing the best. I get results! Have no doubt about that, but there's usually damage that the organization doesn't approve of as a result."
There was something about the man that made Amare feel like he could tell him anything. It had been a very...troubling few months and the fact that Amare has felt as though he has had no friends to confess too has made him feel oddly vulnerable. It was reminiscent of his time back in school after Colt left. Maybe that was why he was performing so hard in the field. By overcompensating maybe he would get the attention he has been aiming for from the organization. Is that why he did not feel sorry for what he has done?
Maybe in order to get the respect he wanted, he would have to start his own.
