Place: 1st Year Boys Dormitory Time: Around 9:30am Weather: Beautiful and sunny Synopsis: About a week before the school year starts, the new first years get to meet each other! Posting order: A posting order will be established once a handful of people have joined and I have made a second post. Please try to not make a second post until then, and then try to follow the order established in the first rotation <3
~~~It was good the school had listened to his request. The dormitory rooms had been assigned to the new group of First Years, but Takara hadn't liked the room he was given. He made sure his parents messaged the school and requested that Takara be moved to the top floor of the dorm, and if available, to not have the rooms beside him be occupied. Sure enough, thanks to the email and a sizable donation to the school, Takara had been granted what he had asked for. Like always, the rich young teen was given what he wanted.
Arriving in a large and expensive looking vehicle, Takara stepped out alongside one of his caretakers, and another, much larger, man. "Top floor, second to last room" A simple statement made by the young man was answered with a small nod from both. The well dressed caretakers' arms outstretched, showing an elastic-like quirk, allowing him to carry a few extra pieces of luggage, as the other, who clearly had a strength based quirk, simply lugged the rest up with ease. Takara followed close behind them as they neared the entrance to the dormitory.
As they neared, Takara brushed off his shirt and flicked his hair a little. He was dressed from head-to-toe in what looked to be very expensive and name branded clothing, with a pair of expensive glasses adorning his face. Around his neck were also a pair of wireless headphones, again, with a very expensive name brand labeled across it. Takara came from money, and he was sure to show it off whenever he could. That, and he loved cloths and accessories. Anything to make him look good he loved.
The blond teenager patted his pocket to make sure he had some seeds just in case he needed to use his quirk for any reason. As they got to the entrance, Takara noted the door was open. Either someone opened it for them, or it had just been left open. "Mustn't have much of worth if you're willing to leave the door open for anyone to just enter" With a small scoff, Takara took his first steps into the dormitory. Staying behind the two who worked for his parents, Takara stopped in place and looked around. This place was small, at least compared to what he was used to. Letting out a heavy sigh, he brushed back some of his hair. "You both know how my room is set up back home. Try to replicate that here, though I'm sure the room is smaller than sis's closet. Do what you can, I guess" The two once more nodded to him and excused themselves past if anyone was in the room.
Takara took another look around and perked up an eyebrow if anyone was around. He leaned against the entranced and pulled out his phone. If others were around, he wouldn't care to talk to them. Why would he needed to waste energy on anyone other than himself?
"Clothes,"
"Check!"Today was the day. The day Donburi finally moved into the dorms of the esteemed UA High School. His new home. Don and his best friend, Senshi Kaen, had been preparing for the special day a few weeks in advance. Senshi even made sure he didn't have to work a morning shift at the fire station to help the new hero-in-training move. "Pillows and bedding,"
"Check,"All the movies showed parents dropping their students off, helping them move in, and then crying on the car ride home to avoid embarrassing them in front of their potential new friends. Did that really happen? Probably not. Even if it did, Donburi's father had no intentions of missing a day of work to help his son do something he could do on his own. Fortunately, Senshi was more than willing to fill-in for Mr. Kyabetsu. "Shampoo, soap, other restroom... stuff,"
"Check, check, and check. I guess,"Don and Senshi were both morning people, so the day had been a lot more lively and enjoyable than it would have been for most people. An early trip from Tokyo to Musutafu, followed by a hearty breakfast at 8:00 AM, concluded by move-in at 9:00 (move-in to a different room than he had originally been assigned; last room on the ground level instead of the last room on the top level... apparently there was a conflict with having Don in that room). Of course, Senshi would have to drive back to Tokyo, but Don wouldn't have to tag along for that part.
Since they arrived slightly earlier, Don was pretty much all moved in. He just had a couple more boxes of stuff to bring in and he'd be all set. "Toothbrush, tooth paste?"
"Doesn't that count as restroom stuff?"
"...Well?"The student sighed, "Check,"As the two went down the checklist, a high-end vehicle rolled to a stop not too far away. From it, three fancy individuals emerged. Two of them seemed significantly less important than the third, who appeared to be a tall boy no older than Donburi. Another student, most likely. "Why didn't you bring an entourage? Would've made carrying in your Wyvern Orb posters a lot easier," Senshi teased, to which Don rolled his eyes. As Takara moved towards the dorms, his servants did all of the heavy lifting, quite literally. Donburi teased back, "Why can't your arms stretch like that? Would've made carry-""Yeah, yeah, whatever," The two laughed as Senshi looked back at his phone, where he had typed up a list that detailed what each box and bag carried. He skimmed it one more time to make sure they'd covered everything, "So, all that's left are your school supplies and what I have written as 'dorm room essentials,'""That's what the website called it. I told Father to buy 'em," The two cardboard boxes sat on the ground, one stacked on top of the other, so Don nudged the bigger bottom box with his foot, "And here they are. Tack board, a few plastic bins, hangers, a shoe rack. Stuff like that,"Senshi slipped his phone in his pocket and hesitantly nodded in approval, "Those aren't exactly essential. Kind of the opposite, really, but," Donburi punched Senshi in the shoulder before he reached down and picked up the boxes. The firefighter smiled and laughed again, "Whatever. If they're essential to you, that's all that matters,"The spiky haired teen began walking back towards the dorm with his remaining two boxes in hand, "Thank you Senshi!" He yelled back without looking, "I'll call you in a week once I'm all settled in. Give you the whole rundown of things,""Stay in touch! Don't be a stranger!" Senshi yelled in response. He added, "Make sure you brush your teeth and do your homework. I don't wanna hear from your dad that you flunked out of superhero school. Or got a cavity. Or got a cavity and flunked out-""Good-bye, Senshi," Donburi turned around and walked backwards as he finalized their interaction. The two smiled at each other before Don turned back towards the dorm. They weren't even going to be that far away, and they had their aPhones to video chat with, but for some reason their goodbye still felt sentimental to the tough-skinned teenager. Maybe those movies weren't so far off after all. As he reached the dorm building, Don noticed the tall blonde just standing in the doorway. Naturally, Don greeted his soon-to-be classmate as he walked by, "Morning," If the boy wanted to talk, Donburi was game. Otherwise, he had some unpacking to do. His room was right by the entrance, though, so he could multitask if he really wanted/needed to.
| ◀ | Cold as ice, soft as snow ❆ Ugh, too much sun!
Sekka sighed as she was walking back to the dorms. She had woken up very early in the morning to do some exercising. Mostly jogging, but there was some martial arts practice mixed in there. The girl was dressed in her typical workout outfit: A white t-shirt, blue shorts, and white socks and sneakers. Her hair was tied back in a ponytail. In addition, she was holding a bottle of spring water. The girl was a bit tired from the vigorous exercises she had spent all morning doing. Now was a good time to relax and take a break. After all, overworking oneself tended to have the opposite effect than was desired. Taking time to rest was actually a very important step in any training regiment.
Sekka always liked to work out in the early morning, as the sun was often not as annoying at that time. However, now that the sun had risen and was out for a while now, it was getting much warmer. For most people, the weather would feel pleasant, as it was merely spring. To Sekka, however, it felt like a typically hot day of summer. She did not want to be out in the sun for too long. It was best for Sekka to head inside and keep cool. Perhaps go to her dorm room and relax in her bed with the air conditioner blasting cold air throughout her room after taking a nice cold shower. Now that would be wonderful.
On her way to the girl's dorm, Sekka would naturally have to go near the boy's dorm. From here, she would notice two of the fellow new first-years of UA. Now normally, Sekka would just ignore them and continue on to her destination. Not that the girl was shy or hated social interaction, far from that. It was just that most of the time, she had no reason to even bother. If someone approached the girl, then Sekka wouldn't exactly turn them away. Still, the stoic girl did not really feel like approaching the boys. However, there really wasn't much else Sekka could do at the moment, and the girl was getting rather bored.
Eh, perhaps I should go introduce myself. Why not, right? After all, what was the worst that could happen?
So Sekka would choose to stick around for now. Who knows, maybe something interesting might happen. If not, she could always leave. Sekka would speak in the same stoic and emotionless tone that she usually did. "Good morning." Sekka would greet the nearby boy just as he finished greeting a different boy. Well, her father did tell the girl that she should try and work on interacting with people her age more often. She supposed that this was as good a place to start as any. |
Post by Kagami Haiteku on May 14, 2021 12:30:08 GMT -4
Kagami checked their watch a couple more times, especially as a rather fancy looking moving truck drove past them apparently heading in the same direction as the school they were going to be attending. "Someone's obviously not messing around with their creature comforts." the dirty-blonde mused, chuckling at the comparison. Admittedly, they were bringing in a pair of suitcases every console and piece of tech they had to their name so they could keep up with their streaming and such whilst studying at UA.
True they were signed up for the Support Courses, so Kagami figured the schedule wouldn't be as hectic as the Hero Courses, but couldn't get too complacent now. They shrugged their shoulders, adjusting the backpack full of clothes and other sundries, before looking at the building ahead of them and checking their watch again. "Ahead of schedule. Huh... Wasn't expecting that with the extra carrying weight and air to drag ratio of the suitcases..." Kagami mused as they trundled along towards the open front door, side stepping the two people working on taking stuff inside from the truck.
"Maybe I overcompensated for the travel time and the hill inclination weight distribution factors." they mused, shrugging once more before spotting a trio of people ahead. Two male looking students and one female looking one. Not that you could judge one solely by looks of course Kagami mused with a chuckle. They were dressed in a pair of black ankle boots, black stockings with white trim at the top, a pale blue pleated skirt, white shirt and a single long black glove down one arm. They also had headphones around their neck, which whilst not as stupidly expensive as the ones around one of the boys neck, definitely did their job perfectly.
"Yo, you all newbies as well? Nice to meet you all." they called over, resting their suitcases against the wall carefully for the time being, before putting their backpack down with a thud onto the floor. "Name's Kagami, gonna be over in the Support Course. Any of you heading there as well, or are you all on the Hero Courses?" they asked, curious to see where on the spectrum everyone here was at. "Oh, and those headphones? They're alright for the obscene price they ask for, but they start to seriously screw up audio after a month which is a major turn off. Obsolescence to a stupid degree." they remarked to the kid with the glasses.
Post by Bibiana Watame on May 15, 2021 15:27:28 GMT -4
Bibiana Yamazaki Watame showed up at the campus at six o'clock in the morning. She wasn't too excited to sleep last night - she was too worried and spend sleepless hours waiting for dawn. An invisible force was holding onto her innards, setting them on fire and then cooling her down to abnormal shivers. Who knew that an anxious mood could paint her cheeks with sickly blush and second later make her go paler than the sheet of paper? She wasn't regretting her decision, of course not, but was indeed coping with emotional baggage worth few weeks of an intense session with her therapist. No. No, she wouldn't let it change her mind. Bibiana was stubborn when she needed to be, and wouldn't so easily let her composer down. Not now, not ever. Taking the occasion of leaving the quiet, empty house earlier, the girl made a phone call and pretty soon was in the vehicle, on her way to school, her belongings secured in the trunk. The car that drove her at U.A grounds was a regular, upper-middle-class standard, with a suited and silent driver/bodyguard. In a very short time her baggage was placed in the destined room in the dormitory, and... After dismissing the driver, Bibiana had all the time in the world to unpack, fold the woolen blankets on her new bed, arrange and decorate the interior to her liking... When she finished, it was barely eight in the morning. The weight on her neck wasn't getting lighter. Feeling like if she doesn't focus her mind, it's going to wander in dangerous directions, Bibi sat at her desk, studying lesson plan, school ground map, and U.A regulations. Thinking about how her new life would look, she slowly flipped the pages of her notebook as minutes passed by. She should call dad in the evening, and probably visit mamma tomorrow. Her hand flinched, fingers squeezed the paper leaving wrinkles on a blank page... Suddenly the notification on her phone rang with a cheerful melody. Sighing with a mix of relief and tiredness, she fished out a small, metal box from her purse, and took two colorful pills out of it. After taking her medication, Bibiana decided that sitting alone with her thoughts wasn't the healthiest way to spend the morning. Walk. The walk was just the thing she needed, to get familiar with the environment and her thoughts about a new school. Or school in general - she was educated at home by private tutors her whole life, so the change in her everyday life was even bigger... Yet the outside worked wonders, especially the trees, flowerbeds, and clean, paved paths that entangled the school grounds. It was refreshing. As she strolled around the area, with a soft smile and relaxed mind, her purple eyes focused on something dark in the grass by the entrance to another dormitory. The object was slightly pushed behind the bush, hm... Walking by it, she glanced to the side, and here it was - a little, brown, leather bag. The zipper was slightly ajar, showing white fabric within. Bibiana stopped, closed the bag, picking it up, and looking for a name tag or some clue, as to who could potentially have lost part of their luggage. Noticing as it was laying next to the male dormitory door, it took her little to no thoughts as to what to do next. There was already a small gathering of people inside. Curious group, but it wasn't for her to judge. To be honest, a small talk wasn't to her liking, but a sense of... Not duty, but reason made her walk into the building. Bibiana raised her hand in a greeting and holding the pink material of her skirt, she curtseyed before them. Her hair was tied in a crown braid with a ribbon, so she couldn't hide her face beneath long locks. Not like she wanted to, but... Now interacting with others felt completely different than before, yet, it does not mean she should treat them any differently. A gentle smile appeared on Bibi's lips. "Good morning." she said softly with a hand on her chest, while the other raised the brown, middle-sized bag. "Pardon my intrusion, but I found this nearby. No one was around and I assume, someone lost their belongings. Does anyone, by any chance, know who is the owner?" If not, she'll leave it within the reception desk with a person who assigns keys and rooms to students. Sooner or later, the bag would find its way to the owner.
Post by Kazuma Jori on May 16, 2021 1:10:04 GMT -4
ポ ス ト を 開 始 Today. Yes, today was a day like none other. Well, none other than the young Kazuma had experienced just yet. Today was the day that the only child of the Jori household would make his way into "herodom". Sure, it was just moving into the dorms of the heroic academic establishment, but it was the first stepping stone to his career's future. With that, he had somewhat of a mental itinerary that he wished to complete. Checking the dorm was the first on the list because this bag was rubbing the fur off his little shoulders and it was weighing him down. The sound of synthetic rubber wheels held together by a loose brake spoke with each crack in the sidewalk. The soft tap of his foot to maintain velocity came rhythmically after each crack he hit, slightly losing his balance each time due to the weight of his bag tossing him off his game. The miniature scooter glistened in the sun, the black cushioned handlebars just barely being held by his tiny mitts. Huffing ever so quietly as he approached the school before coming to a quick stop with his foot stopping the momentum and the bag sliding out in front of his body with it. "Hm." He hummed in curiosity, watching as person after person began to flood, what seemed to be, the drop-off point for future students. He hesitated for a moment, not wanting to be ridiculed for his size if he were to approach them. His paws adjusting his scooter abruptly to move in a trajectory that would let him pass by the others without much notice if the loose brake on the contraction didn't grab their attention first. He needed to steer clear of others until he was able to publicly announce his quirk to his classmates. Otherwise, someone could spark a fuse and it would make for a rather unpleasant move-in day. Taking a deep breath in. He shoved off, coasting. Though, his gazes were set upon the group that was in the process of gathering and not ahead of him. His line of sight starting to slightly veer his scooter toward the group instead of around them. The small panda draped in off-brand cheap clothing was surely not someone that would interest some of these folks. They all seemed like they were raised in such fruitful conditions that he was likely not able to relate to them on any level. His mind adrift as he carried on with his mundane thoughts of inferiority as someone in the lower echelons of society due to his troublesome quirk. Unaware of his planned trajectory changing in bearing leading him straight for a brown bag raised just to the height of his head. The vocal pitch of a female rang out grasping his attention to the bag he was in route for a collision before it was finally too late, "W-woahhh~!" The brown bag laid the small panda on his back, his bag flopping to the side. The scooter shot out scraping and clanking around as the handlebars tottered upon the pavement before coming to a halt. A wince and a grimace caked the visage of the panda as he propped his back up with his folded arm, agonizing in pain. "Aa-tatataaaaa..." He wheezed before exhaling and falling back to his back, his eyes drawing dim to collect himself as he slightly teetered in pain. Just breathe...エンドポスト
[attr="class","trying"] [attr="class","we1"] [attr="class","lost1"]we rise in the dying [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"]"Uwaaa~!"
That was the sound Tyrodin made as emerald hues settled upon the building that would be the dormitory he'd be frequenting to from now on. And boy howdy, was it huge! He could only wonder how much money went into UA on the regular in order for the campus to have a building of this size just for student residence. Most likely double what his mother and father make for sure, but even so! It was just insane! Already, the goat boy was zipping all over the courtyard area, taking in the sights, drinking in every detail and... at one point he'd managed to climb on top of the archway of the steps leading into the building itself! To say he was energetic and excited was quite the understatement."I'm here! I'm here! I'm HERE!!" he exclaimed with joy, taking in the view of as much of the rest of the campus as he could see. However, as much as he'd love to stand around up there and continue to gawk in awe of his high-school dream, he realized that he couldn't very well stay up there, unless he wanted someone on security to come along and give him a good scolding.
It was only after he climbed down from the structure that he realized that he wasn't the only student here, as the front of the entrance had quite the crowd of other youngsters of his age here. 'Uwa... I got so excited that I didn't even notice the others here. That's only mildly embarrassing...' he thought to himself, soon shaking his head a bit so as to shrug off the weird moment of realization. He was about to give a greeting to the others when the sound of a female voice crying out, followed by the sounds of impact met those floppy ears of his. Green eyes homed in on the small panda now teetering on the ground, and as per his nature, he made a beeline over and knelt down beside them, arms sort of hovering as he examined the other.
"Woah, there! That was quite a spill. You okay?" he inquired, his voice giving off a bit of his Norwegian accent as he spoke. If that wasn't enough to tell that he wasn't a natural-born Japanese resident, then his later introduction definitely would. Another is approaching Softly words entered Takara's mind from the world around him. And more follow Again the world spoke to him. Takara, while not a loner, really wasn't looking to go out of his way to meet new people, especially people who were more than likely going to be of lower standing than him and his family. As he and his assistants had approached, Takara had reached out to the local flora to tell him when other young people were getting close. Connecting with one or two people wouldn't be so bad, but being surrounded by multiple people was not what he was looking forward to. I appreciate your words Takara spoke back mentally to the trees. While he could just force the flora to do his bidding, he often found it was better to ask it for its help. It put far less of a strain on him than actually imposing his will. As the first of the new arrivals approached, Takara perked up an eyebrow and gave a small head nod in their direction. The first to arrive, with the darker hair seemed a bit focused and Takara just stepped to the side to let him through better and get where he needed to go. Right soon after though, something more caught his attention. A shorter and dark haired girl came walking up to the dorms and Takara's eyes went up and down her frame for a second. "Definitely a good morning now" Takara muttered under his breath as she approached. "Hello, hello" Takara began, a small smirk on his face as the girl approached. "Names Ta-" Takara soon halted in his place, his words being cut off by another person approaching. This person shouted out loud and made themselves known to the ground almost immediately. Takara's eyes grew wide in annoyance, as his greeting to the first girl had been interrupted. His eyes shot over to the other as they approached, before turning back to the first. "As I was saying I'm Ta-" Again his words were cut off, this time by the second girl coming right up to him and pointing out his headphones kicking out within a month. This time his widened eyes went right to her with a head tilt into her direction. "And that's why I don't buy the CV 700 series. These are the 850 series. Not even on the market yet" His voice was blunt and to the point, a clear undertone of annoyance. He turned once more to the first girl, only to be interrupted right as he opened his mouth this time. Pinching the bridge of his nose under his glasses. About to give another short and annoyed response, Takara's attention was soon taken by the sound of a crash and then some voices speaking up. He had to blink in rapid succession a few times as he looked at the scene that played out in front of his assistants ride. Was that a panda bear talking to a goat? "The Hell is this?" Takara stared for a moment before looking back to the girls around him and made a quizzical gesture to the scene ahead of them. "Did someone lose their stuffed toys?"Takara removed his glasses for a second and ran a hand over his face with a heavy sigh. Were these his classmates? Were these the best of the best? How did half of these people get into UA? He placed his glasses back on his head and ran a hand through his hair. "Whatever, let's try this again" Trying to ignore the others around him, he looked back to the first girl who came to the dorms. Maybe he could finally introduce himself to her. "As I've been trying to saying; Names Takara Aoyagi, of The AAT Corporation. And who might you be?"
Post by Donburi Kyabetsu on May 18, 2021 2:05:33 GMT -4
The guy with the servants responded to Donburi's greeting with a simple nod, which was perfectly fine with him. There was need to rush introductions, especially since they'd be classmates for the next few years anyway. On his way to his room, which was just outside the main lobby, another person entered the dormitory. It was a girl around his age, which meant she was probably another student. He wanted to take the two boxes back to his room as soon as possible, but he also didn't want to come off as stuck-up or rude right away.
Don decided to take the extra second to turn towards the door and backpedal a few steps as he responded with a quick "Good morning" of his own. Suddenly, in the presence of a cute girl, the tall blonde became a chatterbox. Donburi didn't care though, instead he just turned back towards his room - again, right by the lobby - and started heading its way once again.
He couldn't even take two steps before another voice sounded, inquiring about the status of the original three in the lobby. Don took a glance back to see, yes, another student. This one actually tried to strike up a conversation, rather than just greeting the others. Don stared towards his room longingly before he sighed and turned back towards the gathering. Blondie, Girl, and the person who introduced themself as Kagami. Donburi raised one of his pinky fingers rather than a hand, since he didn't want to lose his grip on his boxes, and answered, "What up! I'm a hero course kid, but I should probably be in support 'cause-"
His sentence was interrupted (unintentionally) by yet another newcomer. This new girl seemed to be inquiring about if someone had misplaced a leather bag. Admittedly, the bag did look nice, but Don wasn't going to make any enemies by effectively stealing a bag that didn't belong to him. He shook his head and got ready to finish what he'd been saying to Kagami when a smaller creature on a scooter came flying in - Was that a panda bear on a scooter? Whatever it was, it practically got decapitated by the missing leather bag.
It took every fiber in Donburi's being not to laugh, because the poor thing did look pretty dazed from his crash, but the whole thing looked like something ripped straight out of a comedy. Instead, Don took a deep breath to try to calm himself down before he asked with a shaky voice, still trying to contain his laughter, "You good?"
From seemingly nowhere, somebody else appeared. Don had been expecting to meet a lot of people on his first day, but not all at once! This new new person seemed to be some kind of rabbit or goat or something, another furry creature like the panda. Did they know each other? Was it wrong to assume they knew each other?
Whatever the case, the quiet morning in the UA dorms had been replaced by excited chatter of a meet n' greet. Donburi's always-thinking mind realized this could be his chance to learn the names of his classmates; an important thing considering how his quirk worked. Don decided to step out of his comfort zone and address everybody at once. In his mind, he saw it playing out like: him saying something witty about move-in day and getting everybody on the same page. Instead, once he opened his mouth, his mind went blank. When he finally spoke aloud, to the whole group, all he said was, "I need everybody's names. I'm Donburi Kyabetsu, but Don's fine," Straightforward and blunt. And not cohesive in any way. Perfect introduction, Don.
Through it all, Don still had his two boxes in-hand. He knew he should've just put them away as soon as possible because now he was bound to be stuck with them for a while.
@ all y'all | ◀ | Cold as ice, soft as snow ❆ Soon, this gathering of students would grow, one by one. First was someone named Kagami, who was apparently part of the Support Course. This was good to know, as there was no doubt that Sekka would need help from those students when it came to gear, weaponry, a hero suit, pretty much anything. I suppose I should try to get to know you better sometime. Next was a girl who apparently had horns on her head, almost looking like a sheep. Though this girl didn't introduce herself, she asked if anyone had lost a brown leather bag. Sekka didn't own a brown leather bag, so naturally she didn't need to worry at all. It wasn't hers. Hopefully it gets returned to its rightful owner.
After that girl was... a panda? Mutations were certainly getting more and more unique in this day and age. Sekka watched as the poor student accidentally got hit. Ouch! Hopefully that one is alright. But before Sekka could even go move and see if the panda student was hurt too badly, yet another person appeared. Another mutant from the looks of it. This one was goat-like. Sekka was relieved that this student would immediately make a beeline towards the panda student and check to make sure they were okay. Good to see someone who cares.
But with all of these students here, Sekka was beginning to feel a bit uneasy. While the stoic girl's outward appearance didn't change at all, still looking as calm and expressionless as ever, she was beginning to feel slightly uncomfortable on the inside. So many people... The girl was not very fond of large crowds, and while this certainly wasn't a big crowd just yet, it definitely counted as a crowd. Eh, maybe I should just go. It's not like anyone here would care if I decided to just walk away.
However, that clearly wasn't true. There was one guy who kept on trying to talk to her before being interrupted by the arrival of each newcomer. It was pretty funny in a way, though Sekka of course didn't laugh or even smile a tiny bit. It was clear that this guy was losing his patience, but the comment on the mutants being stuffed toys did feel uncalled for. Still, Sekka was willing to let it slide just this once. Maybe he was just really annoyed but not inherently rude? Sekka was not one to judge a person based on just words alone. First impressions weren't everything. Maybe the guy would apologize later?
Anyway, once this guy finally did manage to introduce himself, and the other person that the girl saw before the others arrived also introduced himself, Sekka figured that it was her turn. "My name is Sekka. Sekka Fuyuzora." Her tone was dry, lacking in any real emotion. It was clear that this was not a girl who was used to speaking very often. Still, at least her voice was clear enough for everyone here to hear her. "It's nice to meet you." Though she was currently looking at Takara when saying this, Sekka was addressing everyone here.
Speaking of everyone, Sekka still felt a bit on edge. I should probably go back to my room. Unless someone here needs me for some reason? Not that Sekka was too tired from her earlier exercise, but she just wanted to get away from the crowd. She had nothing against anyone here, of course. Sekka did want to get to know everyone here better. She just did not wish to do so all at once. It felt a bit overwhelming. Not that anyone would be able to tell that just from the girl's appearance alone. Sekka seemed just as stoic and calm as always.
For now, the girl would begrudgingly stay to listen to everyone's introductions. Then hopefully head back to her room, unless someone wished to talk more with her. In that case, she would stay. Sekka was aloof, but she wasn't rude. |
Seems quite a few people were running on the same schedule as Kagami this morning. A rather cute looking black haired girl, who Mister Expensive Headphones was obviously trying to introduce himself to with no luck as he kept getting interrupted each time a new person arrived on the scene. Which was honestly quite funny and the blonde couldn't help but chuckle each time they started and stopped introducing themselves.
When the girl with the horns asked if any of them had misplaced a brown bag, Kagami immediately started to take inventory of all their possessions. "Two suitcases containing various consoles, computer tower, three monitors, streaming rigging, microphones, portable collapsible sound proof booth, assortment of mechanical tools... Check." they said, counting off the two large suitcases on wheels. "One rucksack containing clothing, consisting of casual, formal, cosplay, school uniform, welding mask and goggles, leather apron and gloves for aforementioned welding, further assortment of tools these ones of more delicate operation and handling... Check." Kagami mused as they ensured they still had the rather large backpack they had been carrying on their person.
"One brown bag containing... unknown items. Nope, sorry not mine I'm afraid." said the dirty blonde to the horny blonde. When the Panda on the scooter accidentally crashed into the scene along with a rather excitable Goat looking person, Kagami couldn't help but wince although immediately shot Mister Expensive Headphones a look that could kill if they had a Dagger Staring Quirk. "Well, that's you on my shit list already Mister Not On The Market. You did not seriously just call them "stuffed toys"?" they inquired already making a note to hack this guys devices the second a screen appeared.
The ATT? What kind of moneybags was this guy? Kagami pulled out their phone for a moment before using their Quirk to generate a much more interactive screen to be used which they immediately began typing in ATT and Takara Aoyagi. They were in UA, Quirks were allowed to be used here right? Anyway, a few flicks of the hard-ish light screen later and Kagami got their answer. On the screen could be seen various newspaper articles and social media pages regarding the corporation and the family related to it.
"ATT Corporation aka Aoyagi Agricultural Technology Corporation... Fourth kid of the Aoyagi family who are obscenely stupidly rich due to what is essentially farming technologies and advancements in crops and stuff like that." Kagami summed up, tapping the screen away into motes of dust-like light. "Well, that explains the attitude. Too much money, not enough social skills, and basically the middle kid in the family." they said with a smirk.
The misplaced bag did not get back to its owner - the small group of four either ignored Bibiana's words, shook their head, or actually, though only once, answered her. It seemed that the air in this dormitory was a little... Coarse? No, that wasn't the right word. They were just a group of strangers that needed to test the waters, establish relations and dynamics... A little awkwardly, uncertainly, but surely that would happen, sooner or later. They were teenagers with different temperaments and personalities, either they would click or they would clash. Funny, she might have been the only one thinking about it this way. They needed to get to know each other to cooperate, and, with a heavy heart, Bibi had to admit that she wasn't keen on that.
"Thank you." Time would tell, but for now, she was focusing on the matter at hand. Bibiana bowed her head to the only person that was kind enough to open their mouth. "I shall hand it over to the reception desk, then. Eventually, the owner will appear." She honestly wanted to do that... However, in the moment of silence, Bibi could hear the quiet, small footsteps, the rustling of fabric topped with a muffled sound of the collision. Suddenly the bag she was holding rocked slowly forward and back, while behind her someone abruptly fall to the ground. Her blonde ears twitched with an uneasy suspicion, when the girl looked above her arm, spotting a small, white-and-black figure on the tiles. Eyes widened with concern, as Bibi placed the bag on the floor beside her, smoothing the skirt on her lap to immediately crouch down near the new student. The pained expression of knocked down person did not help the guilt she felt growing in her and dancing with the inquietude swirling in Bibi since last night. Way to make it to the evening without any hint of a panic attack...
"I'm very sorry..." Bibiana joined her hands in apologetic gesture, sincerely concerned about what she has done. "Are you hu..." Her question was subdued by the voice of another student who kneeled on the other side of the panda-like person. White fur, features of the young buck, and the peculiar aura were two characteristic traits she saw, aside from the fact that only them seemed to be concerned with what happened. The third question was thrown in the air from someone, but that's it... As a perpetrator, Bibiana felt responsible of course - not like she expected every other person to jump and lean on them, but the lack of empathy seemed... Concerning. Or maybe that's just her overthinking... The girl took a deep breath with a troubled expression and resumed her apology. "I'm sorry, it was inconsiderate of me to not look around." She reached to him, giving her hand with a gentle gesture - offering her help if he'd like, though she'll of course understand if he'd refuse. The bag was admittedly heavy and she wasn't paying attention to the area around her. It most likely has ended with a case of bump on the panda-like student's head... "Can you stand?" Perhaps if bad luck was involved and the hit was harder than it was, a visit to the nurse's office would be a must.
Her priority was to make sure the student was okay, so Bibi wasn't listening to other voices for a short while. She did not hear what the boy with glasses said, but the incredulous question the blonde addressed to him was enough. Unmannerly, really. Bibi hasn't even frowned, but the way her ears twitched and her eyes closed for a moment revealed disapproval.
"Belittling others for any reason they cannot control about themselves is in bad taste," Bibiana said calmly but with a clear voice, standing up and joining her hands on her waist. She wasn't exactly aiming those words at the one who showed a devastating lack of manners, but it was obvious she referred to his remark. In this age, when Quirk became more and more common, changing people's lives and appearance, it was ill-intended to laugh at anyone. Especially that no one can choose their looks or powers, and some unfortunate souls have been gifted the abilities they never asked for... Either way, it wasn't instruction nor comment. She smiled lightly, letting it go and choosing to take a small initiative. "Pardon my manners for not introducing myself sooner." She apologized to other students profoundly. Mother would give her a look for that... With a soft motion, the blond girl curtseyed again, and then stood straight. Her height and appearance did not stop her from raising her head, and what happened did not get rid of a gentle smile. "My name is Bibiana Watame. A pleasure to meet you."
