Meetings. Meetings upon meetings upon meetings. It wasn't necessarily something that Klara didn't see coming, but she'd be lying if she said they weren't exhausting to some degree. All the training and studies in the world couldn't possibly prepare her with how much of a mess U.A. was. Students and faculty alike were leaving the establishment in droves for one reason or another, leaving the whole high school in what felt like a perpetual state of disarray. Even before that it felt like the school was running its students into the ground -- the lack of proper guidance was appalling, let alone all the security issues they were marred by. The fact that three of their students had actually been kidnapped without a proper answer to the crime was something she swore she'd never let happen again.
Her chest heaved as Klara breathed out a heavy sigh, the seemingly never ending stack of papers on her desk feeling like it hadn't shrunk an inch ever since she had first received them damn near six hours ago. Faculty openings, class schedules, new student arrivals, old student departures, graduations, recommendation requests for sidekick positions... she snorted to herself with some modicum of amusement, a glint of sharp confidence in her amber irises. She had her work cut out for her and she wouldn't have it any other way.
For now, though, she would have to set that particular piece of work aside. It was drawing near 3PM and according to her schedule she was about to have a meeting with a new addition to the student body -- a one Shinme Kagaya, a second year transfer with a wind-type Emitter quirk. Glancing over his file Klara could easily recognize that the kid had potential, especially if he was pushed in the right direction. What said direction was, though? That'd be determined by their meeting. As far as she knew Kagaya would be in attendance with his parents, which she was thankful for. One specific entry into Shinme's file made her brow rise. Yet another kidnapping, but one that the teen's psyche seemed to have been blocking out. His parents didn't seem like they wanted to reveal it to him either and far be it for her to butt in on their family affairs.
For now, at least. He'd have to face that scar eventually. Klara would make damn sure he was ready.
She heard a knock on her door, making her eyes rise and a sweet smile pull her lips upwards.
"Come in."
