To say that Ryoto was surprised when he discovered that he had been accepted into U.A was an understatement- he was pretty sure that being held back a grade would ultimately cause him to choose a different school, one that had a not so good program and was ultimately not as good as what U.A was made up to be. In fact, if it were not for the encouragement of his teacher and mother, Ryoto would never have bother with an application to U.A.- due to the fact, that he felt it was pointless. Fortunately, his mother pressured him into creating an application, and with a couple of good words from his teachers, Ryoto was able to get into the school. Even though he was accepted, and his mother told him that the reason he was accepted was due to his dedication to doing better, Ryoto felt like he did not deserve being allowed to be within U.A academy or being able to take on their hero courses- there were other students who deserved the position more than him, students that had worked harder and was able to perform well the first time.
But despite this doubt and feeling of unworthiness, Ryoto definitely could not shake the feelings of excitement and pride about being accepted. He was barely able to sleep the night before moving in, mainly because he was too energized from this eagerness to move in, to fall asleep. In fact, the next morning, Ryoto woke up extremely early in order to start packing up the car and began the process of moving in- heck, he even tried to make breakfast, which sadly ended terribly. His mom and siblings ended up having to stop by a fast-food restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
Ryoto’s mother and siblings aided him in carrying his boxes up to his new dorm, but they soon would have to leave to attend both school and work. His mother promised him that he would return around dinner time, in which she would help him unpack whatever else is left. Until then Ryoto was left to his own devices, and he had planned to get this currently messy room cleaned and unpacked. Afterwards, Ryoto plotted on exploring campus and hopefully meet some new people. With his mother gone, Ryoto started to organize the boxes- he placed the boxes that contain his clothes onto the bed, toiletry at the foot of the bed, and the rest of the boxes onto the floor.
Ryoto sat on the floor encircled by a bunch of boxes that contain books, some posters, and other random stuff. The boxes that held his books contain labels such as- nonfiction, historical fiction, manga, and simply fiction. Finding a cooler with some popcorn chicken among the boxes, Ryoto allowed a tail covered in azure fish-like scales and a tuff of fur at the end. Holding the bowl of popcorn chicken with his tails, Ryoto dragged one of the clothes box down from the bed and started to unpack- specifically, he started to unfold his clothes. Unbeknownst him, Ryoto’s mother had left the door open, leaving the dragon boy and his quirk completely exposed. The young man wore a sleeve shirt, and black baggy pants- nothing to fancy, he simply dressed to be comfortable for that day.
