"Are you sure you don't want a coffee?" The gentle and calm voice of Frank filled the air as he talked with the teenager who sat in the same room. The young teenager had sought the villainous doctor out after having incurred an injury earlier in the day. The teen didn't know exactly how hurt he was and hadn't wanted to risk anything, but as he had gotten hurt after shaking down someone for some cash, he didn't want to go to a hospital, less he be taken in by the law. While Frank's job as a doctor for villains wasn't public knowledge, it was shared information between a lot of the seedier side of society. Frank himself never asked for payment as he had been lucky enough to secure financing from some well respected crime families and organizations in exchange for being on call whenever needed. This also had the added benefit of many of the families and organizations keeping his dealings with them secret and allowing him t continue doing what he was doing without the law finding out.
The teen once more declined the offer for coffee and Frank gave a small nod. "Well, just keep your arm behind the scanner for another 30 or so seconds so I can see exactly what's wrong" From how the young teen had described what happened, Frank figured the kid had probably broken a bone or two in their wrist. As the scan finished and Frank looked over the internal image, he gave another small nod. "It's nothing serious. A few small breaks around the bones in the wrist. Usually a broken wrist would take about 2 months to fully heal, but the fractures and cracks are very minor. Still can cause a lot of pain, obviously, but really, you'd be fine in about 3 weeks. Probably less than two weeks if you put some medical wrapping around it" As the doctor explained the injury he began to put on a pot of coffee, before giving Magpie, his sleeping golden lab, a quick head pet.
"While that coffee brews, just stay where you are. I'll have you fixed up in about 2 or 3 minutes" Pulling up a seat across from the kid, Dr Yasuda pulled out some medical wraps and began to wrap up his wrist. Once that was done, he placed his hand gently over the kids broken wrist and a faint blue glow began to emanate between the two points of contact. Within about 2 minutes, The child's wrist would be healed and Frank's wrist would take on the injury, before beginning to rapidly repair itself.
"There you go. You might still feel a tinge of pain for the next couple of hours, but you're all healed up" The injury itself wasn't a large one, so it took no time to transfer to Frank, and would also not take more than a day to be fully healed on his own end. "Now be more careful, maybe reevaluate how you go about doing what you do" Offering over a giant jar of sugary snacks, the kid took a few and gave Frank a nod. "Now go out and keep on keeping on. But be careful! If you need anything else, my office is always open!"
