The time had come! While the third years made their way to the licensing exam, the first and second years would be participating in numerous events for the sports festival! Televisions were posted all over the arena, four displays posted on a giant square tv with four displays on each side. The crowd was breathless as they waited for the competitors of this event. A flag sat in the middle of an arena about the size of two football fields. Robots lie in waiting, multiple waves at the ready to challenge the students. Slowly the camera all panned to the center of the arena, showing a man, presumably the announcer for the sports festival. He was a pretty decent sized man, with broad shoulders. His blue shirt seemed like it was going to pop off! His yellow afro seemed to have a purpose, but no one in the audience would know that. Finally, the crowd could rest easy as he began, "Good evening ladies and gentleman. I do believe there's a reason you're all in attendance today, whether in person or at home, we thank you for tuning in on this lovely day." The crowd boomed with excitement, it was finally beginning. "My name is Okina Kuchi and I'll be your host throughout the entire day for the sports festival, I'm looking forward to the outcomes of these events just as much as the rest of you are!" The crowd continuing showing they're anticipation and excitement. "Before I introduce this years contestants, I'd like to explain the rules to this little game. I'm sure you've all noticed this flag next to me. The hero students must protect this at all costs, and while I could reveal what they're protecting it from, that's a surprise! Our students will have to work together to overcome these foe's if they want to win!" He said as the crowd started to go wild with anticipation, but who could blame them? It was all very exciting after all.
"That being said, for this event in particular, three students will be taking part! Two students from class 1-A, The first being Shinme Kagaya to blow us away with his sounds of music!" A single camera then zoomed on to Shinme whenever he approached. One of the four cameras would zoom in on wherever Shinme decided to enter, there were four entrances on each side of the stadium. With his Introduction out of the way, the man in the center continued as the camera's zoomed back to the center of the stage, one remained on the student though. "Second, we have the man who looks like the devil himself, Lewis Himura!" One more of the cameras would then zoomed to the location Lewis approached from, Okina waited a moment longer, feeling the suspense in the air as he was finally going to introduce the last student, "Finally, there's the girl who can heal you with as little as a touch from her hands! Kiersa Bec!" He finished, as another camera went to the girls position. There was now one at each of the students and the center of the ring. The crowd once again showed their excitement, "Now without further ado, I think it's about time we get started what do ya say?" He said, looking at the three students, "If anyone isn't ready, say so now." He would give the three enough time to prepare and then... "Alright now, SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT!!!" He said while pressing a button letting out three human sized robots, each with a different weapon. One being a beam saber, another a small gun, and the last would be using its fists. but it wasn't to the challenging part yet. The announcer proceeded to run back to a booth that was for the purpose of him commentating on the event as it unfolded, before someone behind the scenes pressed another button activating the robots. "OHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHH, LETS GET STARTED! GO DESTROY THOSE ROBOTS KIDS!"

| In the hallway leading out to the stadium’s field, Shinme was waiting, listening to the commentator riling up the crowd outside. Although he had no idea what to expect when he signed up for the Sports Festival, he was prepared for, almost literally, everything. From his position, he could see part of the field, but no details yet, however, the commentator’s voice already told him enough he needed to know. The rules were simple enough: protect the flag. If that was the only one to follow, Shinme was confident not to break it at all. They all wanted to win here, but most of all, Shinme wanted to show what he was capable of, and have fun. If his only instruction was to protect the flag, he could do just that.
As soon as the commentator introduced him, Shinme rushed forward, running to the open field through one of the middle entrances to the left. He was wearing U.A.’s gym uniform, but some of the blue-white-red fit of clothes were hidden under the black haori he was wearing. It had wide sleeves, the whole of the fabric reaching his thighs, the front open – he was wearing it as a coat rather than as an actual haori. His long, black hair was pulled back in a high ponytail with a red ribbon. In an inner pocket of his haori, he had secured a Chinese bamboo flute, his dizi, for later use in case his voice wouldn’t be enough to bring a variety into controlling his quirk. Certain sounds were much easier to make with the flute than by singing. He was waving to the audience, to the cameras, and then he sang a simple line for those near enough to hear.
Are you ready to see the sight of the century~
His voice resonated through the field, the shining wind picked him up, twirled him around, and after flying for the rest of the distance, he landed near the flag.
He waited for his teammates to show up, only one of them familiar. He waved to Lewis with both arms, wide and excited “Lu, Lu! Let’s do our best together!”, and grinned at the devilspawn. Who would have thought that their first actual heroic assignment in this school would have them pair up? It was certainly fate, and Shinme was now especially glad he started that conversation with the angelic devil when he had the opportunity. The second person, he didn’t know, but he wasn’t less enthusiastic towards her. He flailed around with his arms showing the same happiness upon seeing her, despite knowing nothing of who she was. The commentator was helpful enough, providing her name and a tiny bit of info about her ability. Funny enough, her introduction seemed to be the most informative out of all of them. “Kiersa, right? I'm Shinme, nice to meet you!” He had no opinion of her aside from the fact she was a pretty thing, but the next few minutes will decide how they all will deal with the situation.
Just before they were asked if they were ready, Shinme looked from one teammate to another, gauging their emotional state, whether they were as excited, or more anxious, as him. He raised an arm forward toward the two other students, palm down, for an impromptu team cheer. Keeping a healthy team spirit was the most important. “Let’s not worry too much, and just have fun.” He offered, cheerful confidence oozing out of him with the breeze of the open field. One would almost think he wasn’t a new student at all. “I can deal with whatever attackers come, and keep an eye on the field from up above. That’s fine, right?” They had no time for a strategy meeting, so just keeping it simple and saying what he can do was the best for the start. As far as he was concerned, they were able to communicate during the event if the need arose. Who knows what situation they will have to adapt to.
“Ready!” Shinme yelled with a fist-bump to the air upon the question of the commentator.
Three robots emerged, none of them bigger than a grown man. Just wreckage, Shinme thought, because obviously, these three were just appetizers. “Come and try me!” He whistled, activating his quirk from the get-go, shining wind rising up around him. He wasn’t sure whether his teammates would be up to fighting one on one with the robots, but maybe this was at least fine to gauge what they were capable of, how they would be able to work as a team. Shinme rushed forward, his speed and fluid movements made it seem like he was flying rather than running, his wind backing him up.
I see you through the flood See you through the fire See you through the storms-a-ragin'
Without waiting for anything else, he sang one single line, an aggressive, strong tune, with his soothing, surprisingly deep and clear singing voice. His wind reacted immediately, the element gaining the strength to damage anything stronger than stone. As soon as one of the robots was within his range, he would aim at its body to smash through with his quirk. Targeting anything else other than the body seemed meaningless, as he had to get rid of it quick before it reached the flag in the middle of the field. The quickest, biggest damage he could do was to the torso, and he was ready to push with a force the robot was not ready for, all the while doing his best to keep his distance. One single, well-aimed hit. That was all he needed to incapacitate one opponent.
“You two holding up?” He paid attention whether the others were able to take on another robot. If not, he was ready to help out and destroy more than one opponent. After all, he only needed to sing, and the wind would do his bidding.

Lewis bounced on his digitigrade legs as he waited his introduction. The schools' sporting event was a well regarded event and Lewis was honoured to get to take a part in it. He was even more excited that he had gotten to work alongside one of the friendly students he had met; Shinme. He hadn't met the other student yet however, but he was sure they'd do great alongside them. Lewis listened to the instructor and while he did, he made sure the taping around his wrists were the perfect fit. They couldn't be too tight or too loose, but luckily Lewis had been tying wrist tape for a long time and knew how to make it perfect. He had actually wrapped up a fair bit higher than usual however. Usually wrappings went around the wrists, but Lewis instead had them going half way up his forearms. While the tape was mostly meant to protect the hands from the impact of punching, they also helped hold the muscles in place to make it harder to tweak something. Lewis figured it was probably best to have the tape a bit higher in this instance. He followed that by placing his hands into a pair of MMA styled light gloves. The rest of his attire was very bland and basic. While using his powers, he tended to heat up a lot, and the heavier or more layers he wore, the hotter he got. As such, he wore a simple pair of black Boxers' trunks with a single white stripe on the right side, as well as a plain black tank top. His feet were bare too. While Lewis was able to find shoes for his unique feet, he personally felt he had more agility when he could bound around with his feet exposed. His white hair was fairly loose as well, tucked behind his horns and his hair, flowing down his back. As Lewis was introduced and he made his way out into the long stadium, He raised a hand in a sheepish wave to the camera, before looking away from it and trying to hide his face. That was a lot of focus and attention on him he wasn't expecting. Not to mention the large crowd as well. That definitely was a lot of people to disappoint. He nodded and jogged over to Shinme and waited for their last teammate. He hadn't met her, but had seen her name in the group chat the school had set up for the students. Didn't she make some poisonous cookies or something like that? It appeared she had a healing quirk though, so that was good. While Lewis wasn't one for reckless abandon, they could take a few more chances with a healer amongst them. He gave the girl a nod as well as she met up with them, still bouncing on his feet as the group got together. Lewis hadn't said much, or anything at all, but nodded to what Shinme said. He looked over the the girl and then back to Shinme, then back to her. "I'm going to guess you can do more than just heal, right? Probably know how to throw a punch or something?" He hoped he didn't come off as rude, but he was genuinely curious as to what she could do. If she could only heal and didn't have anything to offer offensively, then they'd have to keep an eye on her and the flag. Lewis included his hand in the cheer and also fist bumped before watching Shinme ascend into the sky. "Perhaps we shouldn't rush to meet them. We don't want to get to far away from the flag. Something might just swoop in and grab it...but we also can't only meet them here close to the flag because then they are too close to it" Lewi's nearly solid yellow eyes scanned the area as the robots emerged. His eyes travelled to see Shinme singing and whipping up some wind. One robot with a gun, which Shinme seemed to be focused on, another with a sword, and the last with what just seemed liked their fists. Lewis really didn't want to assume the girl couldn't protect herself, but he hadn't received an answer just yet. While he would have liked the chance to box against a robot, he figured it would be the easiest to deal with. He really didn't want to assume the girl couldn't handle something coming at her, but if he made the wrong call and she couldn't, having something with just fists going at her was more ideal than having something with a sword going at her. With a flick of his tail, Lewis bounded off. "Don't push yourselves too hard, there's no way this is all we have to deal with. Save your energy" Lewis had made his own call out to the group as he neared the sword robot. The robot began to swing and Lewis halted himself. His tail flicked to one side, allowing Lewis to turn on a dime and dodge to the opposite direction of the sword swing. The sword was coming at him again and he ducked, raising a forearm to meet where the wrist of the hand holding the sword would be. He pushed upwards, his powerful legs added to his strength to push back. As he raised, his forearm that had blocked moved to try and be a hand grasping the robots wrist while his other hand attempted to grasped the free hand of the robot. Following that, Lewis pulled back before expelling a gout of flame from his mouth into the robots face. While he hadn't ever melted metal before, maybe he could get lucky and fry some internals of the bot. ~~~

Kiersa held a hand over her chest as she took in several slow breaths, waiting in the corridor for her turn to step out into the arena for this school sports festival event thing. She had never really taken part in any sporting events prior to attending UA, and now here she was, about to do so in front of an entire audience... in person and on television. Her breathing sped up for a moment before she brought it back under control.
Miss Haymaker's meditation techniques were definitely getting a serious workout from all of this, that was for sure. She hadn't met either of her team-mates before today though, and had been kind of hoping that maybe she would have been paired up with someone from her own class... But the young blonde supposed this would work as a demonstration of sorts for how "random" team-ups would work out in the field as it were.
At least that was her working theory as she stepped out into the arena when her name was called out by the announcer. As she approached her team-mates for this event, she gave a bow to greet them. The non-mutant seemed to be quite a bundle of energy whilst the devil looking boy seemed to have more of a level head about them... Although if she remembered the names from the chat correctly, he thought she had made poisonous cookies!
When he asked her about her skills, Kiersa rubbed the back of her head nervously. "I'm... I'm n-not that g-great of a fighter... B-But I c-can maybe blind them." she said in reply to Lewis' question about if she can throw a punch. Just then three robots emerged as the test exam festival thing began! One was armed with some sort of gun which Shinme went after, whilst Lewis focused his efforts on the robot armed with the sword... Leaving her with the boxer robot by all accounts.
The young blonde wished she had managed to work on her kenjutsu some more before this, but with everything that had been going on this past year... One thing was for certain though, she had to defend the flag. Kiersa couldn't tell if her mother was in the stands watching, or at home watching this, but in either case she couldn't let her down. This was her chance to prove that everything she had done for her was worth all the effort.
She raised both her hands towards the advancing machine and unleashed through her support gear a high volume beam of light straight towards where she could make out some lenses. Hopefully those were the machines "eyes" and the sudden burst of light would... well, blind the machine or even overload its visual processors to hopefully cause it to short-circuit? Kiersa wasn't that big on how machines worked but it was worth a shot when compared to her fire breathing wind singing team-mates.
Kiersa just hoped it would be enough because unfortunately aside from healing the two boys if they got hurt, this was pretty much all she could do right now against robotic foes like this.

The stage was set, the contestants were here, and it was time for the battle to begin. As the event began, the robots would all three be heard in unison, "4 targets acquired, Primary target = flag.exe." The robots finished stating their directive as two of them were attacked before being able to advance much. The one with the gun was seemingly defeated with ease by Shinme, before it seemed to be rebooting. It had blocked most of the blow with it's right arm, thus being blown right off. It's white armor had slightly deteriorated as a result as well. Once it had rebooted it charged at Shinme and then... jumped!? It flew straight to the air as the robot set it's sights on the young prankster, firing purple beamlike bullets that had a mysterious effect the announcer would reveal, "What a good play by our young wind user am I right!? I know all the girls at least are falling for him from his beautiful voice. OHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHH and don't worry about getting hit by those bullets ladies and gents, while they look scary at first, any weapon these mechanical being have only has one use on us homo-sapiens, incapacitation! Get hit with enough of those Shinme, and instead of a even battle the enemies will consider you defeated and that'll mean a two v. three!" As a bullet started to reach the crowd of the dome, it seemed to be blocked by... "As you can see, you're all relatively safe as well thanks to the use of a quirk. That's right you guessed it, there is a transparent force-field protecting our very own audience! That's you ladies and gents! Now let me hear your excitement through the air!" The man said, with the crowd agreeing wholeheartedly as they shook the the stadium. The robot targeting Shinme then shot three blasts with the gun in it's right arm, one in the direction of each arm, and aiming for a headshot.
Next was the bladed mech itself, targeted by Lu. The robot began with a huge downward slash which Lu seemed to dodge with ease utilizing his tail. That left the robot completely open for attack as it started to ready itself for a second attack on Lu. Once the robot had regained its composure, he did a slash across the boys waist. The boy proceeded to dodge just under the blade, if the crowd was watching his overhead TV screen, they would notice the hairs on his head coming off, so it obviously would still hurt a little bit. Lu then grabbed the robot's left arm, the one holding its weapon and began pushing upwards. The robot's programing however, told it the best way of getting out of this situation, it reached it's right hand behind it's back and grabbed another sword, making a straight slash for the boys arm that grabbed the mechanical beings. "OOOOOOOOO LOOKS LIKE THIS ROBOTS GOT SOME SECRET SURPRISES FOR YOU BOYS!!! YALL BETTER BE PREPARED UA!" Lu then expelled some fire from his mouth, but the remaining robot came from the side, preparing to ram him and get his attention instead. What little did hit the sword robot would slightly damage the robots internals, as a red code appeared on its displayable eye, 'Error: 5504' but unless someone was close, it would be unnoticeable.
Finally it was Kiersa's turn to act, not being much for attack she understandably relied on blinding the boxing robot, proceeding to go after Kiersa herself as it let the sword archetype mech handle Lu for the time being, it wanted the flag and Kiersa was in the way! "Uh oh look out girl! HE'S PICKKING UP SPEED!" The announcer would commentate as the robot threw a right punch for her side, following it with an uppercut. Before it could continue it's own assault, the girl blinded it, as well as the sword robot. Leaving a perfect opening for Lu to take advantage of. The robots both raised their arms to their face as they tried to block the light. Unfortunately for Kiersa, it wasn't permanent as the robots would soon regain their bearings, not that they really had bearing, but the screws to replace them might as well have been the same thing!
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH LOOKS LIKE THINGS ARE HEATING UP IN HERE AND IT AINT JUST BECAUSE OF LU'S QUIRK!" The crowd roared, in the stands the teenage girls could be seen swooning over Shinme already, how they yearned to meet the boy! Unfortunately for them, he likely wasn't interested in them. "I hope you're enjoying yourselves so far today ladies and gentlemen, cause this is where it starts to get good!" As the battle raged on, the excitement could be heard growing throughout all of UA itself, if not a majority of Tokyo.

| Lewis had a good point in listing their options and mentioning leaving the flag might be a bad idea. But coming up with ideas without decisions would be meaningless, so Shinme found it best to rush forward. He at least knew he was good at that, and he trusted someone on the team might stay near the flag instead. What Kiersa said was quite interesting though. She could blind the robots. The gears in Shinme’s mind started to work, and even though he knew that ability could be a double edged sword, it might prove to be incredibly useful.
But the robots came, so they had no time for strategizing. Shinme rushed his own choice, the gunner. He knew his quirk well, he knew he was able to attack from a long range, so it was only natural he would chose a similarly long ranged opponent out of the three. His initial attack seemed to work well, and he gained some confidence upon seeing that. The attack hit, but unfortunately, he was too close to the robot by that time, and the unexpectedly well-aimed attack blew the outer armor on the robot’s arm to pieces. Shards of shrapnel singed Shinme’s arms and hands that he raised in front of his face to protect it, tearing holes into his haori. From the rush of adrenaline, he didn’t feel the injuries on his arms yet. Okay, that was something he didn’t quite expect. The robots’ armor was either too brittle, or he used to much force unnecessarily.
His wind stopped as he stood on the ground, taking his eyes off of the gunner to briefly check on his teammates. His momentary distraction seemed to be the worst possible choice, as it gave enough time for the robot to reboot and counter him. “Uh-oh!” His reflexive reaction had enough of a tune for his wind to react, and so he flew up, the robot following him into the air. “Oh, you are a stubborn one.” He barely heard the voice of their commentator, and so, tried his best to avoid the purple beams, concentrating on his precise and fluid movements to avoid the bullets coming at him. “Well, thanks for the tip!” Even if they couldn’t hurt him, it was in his best interest to dodge as many as possible. At least the audience couldn’t be injured from this either, especially with that protective barrier. Shinme’s concentration and sudden rush of adrenaline was enough to avoid a headshot and one attack on his arm, but his left forearm was hit, sending a tingling sensation of numbness through it.
He grit his teeth as he was pushed back by the force behind the beam. That was a silly mistake, and Shinme was ready to retaliate. “You want to have some fun? Sure, come and get it.”
I’m everything you know, You wonder friend or foe I’m the burning in your throat when you swallow
He kept to the air, staying airborne as he maneuvered himself around and behind the robot. He expected the machine to react with equal quickness, but even if it did, Shinme had the opportunity to, with minimal changes to his tune as he was singing, send blades of wind toward the opponent. This time, his aim wasn’t one piercing attack to go through, but various small injuries, much like a gatling-gun, to cause damage to a wider area so the robot wouldn’t be able to block it with one arm. The power Shinme controlled wasn’t one to be taken lightly, and by sending a gust big enough, he could injure the robot’s head, torso and arms too, depending on how it tried to block him. His song continued.
Goodbye, so long, nice try, I’m gone If you don’t like being second, I don’t like being wrong
And next, after injuring, or at least distracting the robot with his previous attack, he raised his right arm up to then swing it in a downward slashing motion. He would send a strong enough gust to blow the robot away, back onto the ground, down under, and possibly, if the timing and aim was right – he would send the gunner to collide right against the fist-user. "Careful of falling dead-weight!"
He didn’t miss the fire Lewis used, nor the light beam Kiersa aimed at their opponents. He was formulating strategies, but with each of them occupied with their own robots, there was yet little opportunity for combinations.

The block had worked successfully. While this wasn't exactly how he was trained in Boxing, Lewis had made a point to learn how to defend himself. His instructor was a very smart man, and knew from talking with Lewis that the boy had wanted to be a hero. Boxing in and of itself wasn't the greatest form of self-defense. While, sure, it taught you how to fight, it was more so geared towards fighting other Boxers. As such, Lewis' instructor had taken it upon himself to teach the young man some ways to defend himself with the things he knew. His instructor took Lewis' strengths, getting in close quickly and maneuverability, and leaned on that for the defenses he taught.
As Lewis held the arm and spat out his flames, he noticed he had missed in grabbing the other arm. The robot began to reach back for another weapon. As Lewis' eyes followed, he noticed some ERROR message showing up. This was quickly covered however as a blinding flash of light cascaded off of the girl. While the earlier slash had been avoided, albeit with some hair being cut, Lu found himself lucky to not have a second attack to avoid. The robot hadn't had a chance to grab the other sword as it had went to block its face instead from the light. Lewis quickly reacted and let go of the wrist he had been holding.
Had this been a person, a few gut or rib punches would do the trick, but this was a metal robot. Lewis instead spun back around the robot, and again, had this been a human, a back elbow to the base of the neck would have followed. As he went around the back of the metal being, Lewis reached out to grab the sword that hadn't been secured. As he lifted it, his arm dropped with it as he mentally calculated the weight. He had read up a fair bit on swords and ancient weapons in general, they were very fascinating, and from what he read, using a weapon was much like throwing a punch. A lot of things were dependent on weight, be it a fist, a lead pipe, a sword, a pike, or even a shield. To use anything in a manner of attack or defense required knowing how to move ones weight so as to not hurt oneself in the process. Even without proper sword training, Lewis figured he could at least make an attempt.
Hearing something of an explosion, his eyes quickly darted to see some shrapnel heading to Shinme. Focus on your own task, he'll be fine Lewis told himself. His eyes quickly darted to the backside of the robot, then to his hand holding the sword. The blades' tip was aimed to the ground, and Lewis quickly made an upward and diagonal swing. Focus on the weight. This is just like punching, but an extension of your fist Lewis' tail flicked again, once more to the opposite side of his body. While the tail itself didn't weigh a lot, it helped counter his distribution of weight which in turn helped him keep his footing and balance. As the sword swung upwards, Lewis aimed to lob off the robot's head.
He kept his eyes on his target, knowing from punching experience that not looking at what you aimed to hit was a good way to miss. "Good job on the blinding" While Lewis didn't want to lose focus, he needed to make sure the girl knew that she had done well. He could hear in her voice from earlier that she was nervous. Lewis did his best to not be nervous. He wasn't overly confident in his abilities, but he wouldn't let that cloud his mind in the moment. He would ponder over his powers when he wasn't in the middle of the fight. If he second guessed himself in a fight, that could lead to disaster. "Swallow any nerves you might have; they'll cloud your judgement" Lewis' words echoed what his instructor had always told him. In a fight you were more likely to cause yourself to lose than you were to just lose to your opponent. You always stood a better chance if you could control yourself.

Before her blinding light had managed to take effect, her mechanical opponent had managed to get in a couple of strikes into her! First came the attack into her side, which did wind her a bit, right before she was sent up and backwards with its uppercut. She let out a cry of pain as she briefly flew in the air from the robot's fist, before gritting her teeth and attempting to flip like she had seen Prism do during cheerleading practice!
Whilst she didn't have anywhere near the chameleon girl's natural athletic skill, the blonde did at least manage to land back on her feet, albeit with a bit of a less than graceful stumble, as well as put some distance from herself and the currently blinded machine using the momentum of its punch. Even if it was just a couple of feet.
But that extra couple of feet gave her a chance to quickly survey the stadium and the situation. The announcer slash commentator had said that the weapons the robots were using were designed to incapacitate, and Shinme had already been hit by his opponents laser, and she had definitely taken some damage from her opponents punches.
There had to be a way to deal with this machine more permanently, and help her team-mates... Maybe have it accidentally fight the other machines? But the robots only goal was to take the flag, not to go after the students, so her trying to move away to get it to follow her wouldn't work... Kiersa had to stay put between the machine and its goal. But whilst she couldn't do much about her own opponent, she could try to make things easier for the others.
According to physics, one light source could theoretically cancel out another if it had more energy than the other. The machines were using a purple coloured beam of light, whilst her Quirk fired off yellow-ish white... Which means that on the spectrum the robots lasers had a higher energy output than her Quirk... At least according to colour wavelength ratios. However... it might just lessen the effect of the beam or even redirect it a bit if she were to strike correctly. Not a great deal of redirection, but a centimetre or so could mean the difference between a hit and a near miss...
Kiersa nodded to herself and decided to put her own plan into action, aiming her hands not at the robot right in front of her as it was blinded at the moment, but up towards the one with the laser gun and immediately opened fire with a beam of light after shouting up as a warning, "M-Mind your e-eyes!" Just in case she missed.
The goal here was to try and potentially blind the robot and or screw with the lasers it was firing at Shinme. She trusted that Lewis would be able to take care of the robots down here whilst she was trying this tactic out. Although the fact that the gun robot was potentially falling down towards her and the punching robot did make aiming her attack a little bit easier!

The battlefield lay wasted, Shinme had a piece of shrapnel that flew out of the robots arm, hitting the individual. The grass around Lewis was burning, as if it were a barbeque. Two of the three robots remained blind. It was all coming around to be an extremely good turn out. Lewis reached for the sword, and obtained it before his exclusive robot quickly turned its waist around, making it backwards from normal and using a downward slash. All three of the robots eyes went from a sparkling sky blue, to a deep crimson red. Each of the three robots would attempt to grab as many opponents as they could, and a feint 'tick, tock' could be heard. As the robots would finish, at least one of their timers would deactivate as a button was pressed once again, with two of the three being defeated in an explosion of their own making.
The two robots that stepped out of the shadows had similar weapons to the two defeated ones, but looked awfully stronger. One of the two held a sword of fire, prepared to go after Lewis, clothed in orange to match his blade. The other, had a gun arm and was clad in blue to match the blasts he would fire. The fist fighting one still remained, "Target acquired, XX2473 moving out." The blue one said with the other answering, "Target: Lewis. Objective: Incapacitate." The two charged toward their targets, ready for battle as the fist one attacked once again. It pulled back its fist, its eyes glowing in the glint of the sun, and preparing to release the pressure it had released. The announcer was just sitting, awestruck, on the edge of his seat like everyone else in the crowd. Trying to think on what to do or say about the unfolding events, but he simply sat there.

| The only warning they were given were the red lights on the robots’ optics. Shinme had little knowledge of robotics, but he could guess it meant bad. Luckily, his timing was right, and when the robot tried to grab him, he was already pushing it away with his wind to attempt to incapacitate both the gunbot and the punchy bot. His opponent blew up still in midair, safe distance from all of them, so this time Shinme wasn’t caught in the heat of it. He just now started to feel the stings of the shrapnel that wedged themselves in his lower arms and hands.
“Are you two okay?” He yet again lowered himself to the ground to conserve energy but there was little he could do before more opponents were coming. He didn’t fail to notice that the robot attacking Kiersa was still there and intact, however, two new ones showed up, similar although still very different to the previous ones, to attack him and Lewis. He started to see a pattern, and it seemed like they had to constantly deal with multiple enemies and possible new waves. They didn’t know how long it would go, didn’t know how many more opponents they had coming.
“Eyy, Double X, will you blow up like your predecessor, hm?” He taunted the new gunbot because he had to do something with his voice to ease out nerves. He would avoid the gunfire as much as possible, humming a tone to keep up his speed and flight with the boost of his quirk, but he had a new plan. He would angle himself specifically so he had both of the other robots – the punchy bot facing Kiersa and the new sword-wielder facing Lewis – in his line of sight. He specifically wanted those two robots to be in line, but if his own opponent was caught as well, that would only make him happier. His main goal was to make it easier on his teammates, not necessarily himself.
While just barely avoiding a blue gunshot that would definitely have the same effect as the purple ones, Shinme reached into his haori to pull out his flute. Over the years he learned his wind was capable of many things, but sadly, his voice was yet not developed enough to make the specific sounds for those effects. Hence, his flute was there to make up for that, and so, Shinme played a short, but very specific tune.
With that tune, his wind would reach the robots not to attack them, but to sneak under the plating, into their inner workings to weaken their mechanics, to make sure their attacks wouldn’t hurt them as much, to make sure their beams wouldn’t REGISTER to hurt them as much. He attempted, mostly to weaken the punchy bot first and the sword bot second. If he was lucky with the timing and the gunbot was in the line of his wind as well, that one would have reduced power too, but his main goal wasn’t that.
Considering how much he focused on weakening the robots instead of attacking, it was inevitable the gunbot would be able to injure him now with a shot to his abdomen...

The sword had been grabbed, gripped firmly in Lewis' hand. As he readied himself, the robot's top half did a 180 and turned to face him. "What the-" A small mutter escaped his lips, his grip getting tighter on the sword. He needed to react faster and not be taken by surprise. The more he hesitated, the more likely someone could get hurt.
With the brief moment of hesitation, the robot began to tick. Lewis' eyes narrowed, feeling the ticking probably wasn't anything good. He quickly made his slash and as the blade finished it's cut, the robot Lewis was face exploded. Leaping back as quickly as he could with his arms crossing over his face, Lewis could feel his body receiving tiny little cuts from the shrapnel that had went flying out. As Lewis continued to backtrack, his tail kept him well balanced, helping him avoid falling over. As he continued back, a few more shards kept flying. While most felt like nothing more than papercuts, Lewis had felt a larger gash slice across his left arm. Gritting his teeth as he came to a halt, he looked to the cut. While it wasn't a large laceration, it was still enough to start to bleed. Thinking quickly, Lewis belted out a gout of flame onto the metal sword he held, heating it up. Following that, he placed the heated metal over the cut to cauterize the wound. To anyone else, the heated metal onto the skin might have truly hurt, potentially even burned the skin, but Lewis could handle the heat. In fact, to help the cauterization, Lewis' body had even began to heat up even more. The air around him would start to be getting very warm, and even the sweat that was on him had began to vapourize. Lewis was beginning to looking like he was steaming ever so slightly.
He could hear Shinme and Kiersa's call outs and he quickly looked to the two. The boxing robot was still up, and the flag also looked like it was still in a good shape. The devilish teen swung the sword back again before he began to run towards Kiersa. Even with the blinding light, she still looked like she could use some help.
"Don't lose focus on the flag!" Lewis' call out was soon overtaken by the sounds of more robots entering. Lewis stopped in his tracks as they shouted out their targets, one of which was him specifically. He turned on his toes and his head turned upwards to the large sword wielding robot who called him out. His eyes darted up to Shinme as his friend began to play another tune, and then over to Kiersa who seemed to still need to deal with the boxer. He really didn't want to leave her in the lurch, but he again had something to contend with. Maybe he could make his way over to her as he fought the sword swinger?
Before Lewis could really make a decision, a decision was made for him. The sword robot rushed him and swung downwards. Rolling out to the side, Lewis quickly sprung back onto his feet before looping around the robot and making a few slashes to the metal creatures legs. Sure it wasn't a fleshy creature, and so Lewis couldn't cut any arteries, but maybe if he could hack away enough, he could chop a leg off and make the thing unstable or unable to move. His eyes darted over again to Kiersa and the robot she was handling. "Hey punching bag! I think your sword friend here needs some help! I'm positive I can take you both on with no issue!" Lewis was, in fact, not confident at all that he could take both on with no issue. He wanted to get their attention though. Either get the robot off of Kiersa, or distract it enough that Kiersa could take it down. If the former happened though, then Lewis would figure something out for dealing with two robots at the same time. Maybe.

Kiersa came to the same conclusion as Shinme had when she saw that the two new robots that had emerged were of the same variety as the previous ones, albeit much more powerful. Which meant that if she got rid of her punching robot right now, then a stronger one would appear, and she was just barely holding it together with this one!
Her line of thinking was distracted though when the blonde saw that the devil looking boy had been injured by his exploding robot. A very nasty gash by the looks of things. "C-Come over here a-and I'll-" was all Kiersa managed to get out before she let out a very audible gasp at the sight of him crudely cauterising his wound shut with a now rapidly heated blade. Shinme was starting to play a tune on his flute now instead of singing, which meant whatever he was doing with his Quirk was probably more complicated than earlier...
And he still had a shooty robot to deal with. Kiersa ducked under the swing of her punching machine's arm before firing off another beam of light towards the Upgraded Shooting Robot as she was calling it in her head. If it's weapons were still based on light, as were its eyes, then she should be able to still blind it and or deflect some of its attacks from Shinme. Her plan was to let the two boys deal with their upgrading weapon robots, whilst leaving her base model punching robot alone so that when no more of the weapon ones appeared, it would make their task that much easier.
Of course, before she could try to relay this to the others, Lewis had begun to try and lure his opponent towards them in apparently some kind of plot to have the sword machine take out the punching machine, and perhaps vice versa. "W-Wait Lewis!" the young blonde called out to the white haired youth. "Each one th-that's destroyed, a s-stronger version appears!" she tried to explain before getting sucker punched by her robot and sliding into the flag.

"OhohoHO WE'RE BOUT TO KICK IT INTO HIGH GEAR LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, BOYS AND GIRLS!" The crowd once again let its presence be known, roaring to life. "What'll happen next I wonder?" The camera's took the comment as a cue to zoom in on the unfolding events...
The 'Double X' bot as shinme had nicknamed it, was closing fast on the boy. As Shinme began preparing to weaken the robots, the robot near him lunged for him, attacking by stabbing the boy with its gun, despite it not having a sharp edge it would still hurt. Then, he shot into his arm. The bullets wouldn't be too damaging, they'd be like rubber if anything like the previous bot. The point of them was to show the heroes in training how vulnerable they would be if not careful, not to kill the poor things. With Double X being right next to Shinme, it would be easy for the boy to align him with the weakening attack. It did however, manage to block the blinding by having Shinme in the way of it.
From under the stadium, a slight rumbling could almost be heard... almost like something was trying to rise... Maybe more than one thing in fact. However, the three students couldn't worry about that, as the swordfighters attack was dodged, followed by Lu attacking it's legs. It proceeded to thrust its own sword at him, using the other one to cut across, if both managed to hit, it would definitely hurt. Especially with the second slash being aimed directly at the boys previous wound, potentially reopening it.
Finally there was the third robot that had yet to be defeated, the rumbling underground was still there, but it was quieter, almost like it was spread out. Regardless, Kiersa had bigger worries currently! The fighter chased her down, noticing the hesitations in her movements and taking advantage. As she tried to offer Lu aid, he threw a punch at her right side, followed by a jab at her back. This was getting interesting.
"And now... the real fun begins..." The announcer would say, the crowd gasping as three holes appeared in the ground, what came out would shock the viewers. However, only two came out at the current moment, with the third doing something, almost as if it were still rumbling. The first of the two wielded a single blade, long and made of steel. The other had two guns, one on its back and one replacing what its arm would be. "As you can see ladies and gentleman, our young would be heroes are in fact, on a time limit to defeat the robots, with each bot coming shortly after the other. If they can manage to defeat them all, they win. But if they take too long well, you see how that worked so far." The man announced, revealing that it wasn't simply robots replacing each other. The two bots finally spoke. "Alias: Orange Viper. Win condition: Incapacitate enemies and acquire flag." The one with a blade stated, orange armor aligning his body. The second was aligned with green armor, speaking himself, "Alias: Emerald Crocodile. Objective: Distraction." It spoke. The two then headed to aid their robot brethren, the green one helping his sword ally from the second wave, and orange viper helping double x. Slightly hearable underground, the third one could no longer be heard, like it had stopped digging. The crowd could only wonder when another bot would appear. It simply sat in its place, waiting for the key moment to make itself known to the would be heroes. "Now, what will you do next competitors?" The announcer said with a grin.

| Shinme stood his ground, playing the tune on his dizi to weaken the foes when the gunbot closed in on him. He tried to avoid it, he really did, but his current music was for inflicting the robots with ailments, and not for flashy maneuvers to avoid hits. In the middle of his tune, he doubled over, flute music stopping for the short moment he had to regain his breath. The air was literally knocked out of him by that hit to his abdomen. It was pure adrenaline that helped him continue the high-pitched tune, weakening all three current opponents.
His insistence would cost him yet again. The same gun barrel was used to shot rubber bullets at his right forearm at point blank range. Shinme almost bit his tongue from refusing to cry out, but a keen whine still left through his gritted teeth. It wasn’t all too painful, but he didn’t remember being used to physical pain. It hurt. Hurt a lot. He clenched his left hand’s fingers around his flute, and with a war cry, kicked himself away from the gunbot. “So insistent!” His feet collided to the bot’s chest, as the wind aided Shinme in getting away, following the rhythm of his voice. Luckily, singing wasn’t necessary for him to use his quirk. So long as he was able to make a sound, so long as he was able to breathe, the wind would do his bidding.
He flew away from the gunbot, right towards one of his teammates. “Kiersa!” His wind wasn’t only able to aid him, but his teammates as well. As he flew, he would try and grab the girl’s shoulders to get her away from the punchy bot, away from more harm. They might be both nearer to the flag, but maybe they were able to get some of the distance needed for their attacks to be effective. When Shinme’s feet touched the ground, his knees almost buckled under him. His stomach where the gun barrel hit him hurt. His arm where the rubber bullet hit him hurt. The cuts on his arms hurt. Dang, he was hurting!
The rumbling started, and Shinme would know, even without his IQ, that it meant bad. And when two other robots showed up, he could hesitate little. “Time to become flashy.” He winked towards Kiersa, and stood straight up, as much as his throbbing abdomen let him. The song he chose was filled with a kind of power none the ones before did.
In the maze without an end... Why do you still breathe?
He raised his arms, the wind awakened all around him in a wide radius, and this time, his aim wasn’t only to damage the robots with the power to shatter soft metal. He had weapons. Weapons littering the arena all around them. Two robots already blew up, but their remains were around, in shambles, in pieces. The metal shards within his range were raised to the air, and they started their deadly dance to the rhythm of his song.
The picture of truth under rubble is deeper than anything else The blue sky that seemed to be obscured concealed a terrible spectacle.
Shinme created the most damaging army of shrapnel with his wind, and upon his command, the pieces, backed up by his wind, would fly against as many robots as were near.
In the maze without an end, we are drowning in our faults In the maze without an end... Why do you still breathe?
But there was something still rumbling underground, something that, by the time he let his wind loose, quieted down. If it’s underground, it could show up anywhere...
The quiet before the storm.
“Keep an eye on the flag!” That one hidden robot could as well dig itself right to the flag, and that was something they needed to avoid. If it surprised them by getting behind their defenses and capturing the flag, they wouldn’t be able to recover. His last attack already cost him a breath. His chest was hurting, and it had nothing to do with the robots’ attacks.

Focus Lewis. Keep your wits about you.
Despite the noise and the ruckus happening, Lewis knew getting distracted would cause more issues for their group. He had seen from the corner of his eyes a bot flying at Shinme, and then a yell of pain come from his friend. But he had to stay set on his target. If he looked away for even a second, it would mean giving an unneeded opening to the bot he was facing off against. Shinme was smart and had a great quirk though, Lewis was sure he would be fine. And if needed, Kiersa could heal him up. He himself however, probably not so much. If Kiersa had to touch to heal, she'd just end up burning herself touching Lu's burning hot skin.
Lewis felt the ground rumble slightly and in the brief second he took to look down, the robot struck. Lewis had let his focus slip, but he had raised the sword quick enough to block one of the swings. A loud metal clanging noise could be heard as the swords smashed together, but that only covered the gritting sound Lewis made as his cut was reopened as he was slashed again. "Gosh dangit" he cursed under his breathe, before another swing cam at him. Ducking again, Lewis rolled back and sprung back upright soon after.
Catching his breath, He glanced quickly to Shinme and Kiersa, both of them were now closer together. When he looked back, more robots soon began to emerge. Lewis looked to the sword in his hand, then back to their opponents. Honestly, while the sword had been doing well for him, it was throwing off his weight too much. He had trained without a sword, so his balance was off enough he was catching mistakes he was making.
Lewis once more quickly blew on the sword and slapped his skin with the metal to do a quick cauterization. It wasn't a good heal, but it was enough to stop the bleeding. After that, he jammed the sword in the ground and pulled his fireproof shirt over his head and tossed it to the ground. His body was starting to over heat and the shirt wasn't helping any. The sweat that had started to show as steam off of his exposed skin was now more apparent. He once more looked back to Shinme and Kiersa, glad to see they were both still close to one another. Shinme also seemed to be whipping up more debris and shrapnel which had been a good call, and it seemed Kiersa was getting ready for something big. He'd need to follow suit.
"Fine, you wanna go? Let's do this thing" Lewis bounced on his feet a few times, the astroturf beneath him starting to melt as his body heated up more and more. Unwrapping his flame-resistant wrist tape, Lewis let the material wave behind him. Throwing his head back, a large burst of fire spewed out and blasted high into the air. Lewis tossed his head back down and whipped it in a circular motion as a ball of fire enveloped his body. When Lewis finished spewing the fire out, his body held the flame; the orange and red hues flickering off of him as the fire danced on his skin. The wrist wrapping that dangled off of his wrists also held the fire, adding to the visually fiery devil.
While Lewis' fire may not have been hot enough to melt fire, he had a seemingly endless supply of it to use. Maybe he could wear and tear the robots down with a combination of fire and punches.
Leaving the sword behind, Lewis' powerful legs propelled him forward, right back at the larger robot with two swords. "Come to me, come to me, COME TO ME, COME TO ME!" Lewis shouted out loud, wanting to get the robots attention. The boy had stamina, and it was something he would relay on here. His teammates seemed to need a second to catch their breathe, and maybe Lewis could do so if he was able to get the attention of all the robots.
Again, focusing on a singular target was Lewis goal. He knew there was a rumbling happening, and he knew there were more robots around. Until they, hopefully, swarmed him, Lewis only need to look at one target; the big duel wielder. He rushed in and ducked another swing. His tail flicked and Lewis pulled back a flaming right fist. Attempting to deliver it forward to what would be the robot's mid section, Lewis would quickly follow up with a pivot to the left, and then a quick few left-right-lefts to where the robots shoulder-joint would be. A robot wasn't a person, but maybe it had weak spots like a person, or maybe a soft spot. With a person, a few good shots to the spot could easily dislocate the shoulder, rendering it nearly useless. If Lewis was lucky, maybe the robot was similar. While his fire still wasn't hot enough to melt steel, Lewis knew that after enough exposure to heat, steel would weaken. So maybe if he could stay heated up, and maybe if he got enough bots around him, he could burst out some fire and soften their casings. But for now, he would just keep his focus on the bot at hand, continuously attempting to dodge, duck, and punch.
