Tag: Angel Surami Summery: New UA Student Lewis gets shown around the school by Third Year Angelica The weekend was winding down, and after having met some of his fellow dormmates and have a one-on-one with Mia, Lewis had been told he'd have a tour around the school by one of the Third Years, Angelica also known as Angel. The name Angel rang a bell, but maybe it was just that Lewis found it a bit ironic. A devilish quirk being guided by someone named Angel. Either that was just done for irony sake, or just by some strange happenstance. The reason for the tour was pretty simple; Lewis had just been transferred over from another school for showing a far better aptitude for Quirk control and studies tan previously expected, and UA had taken notice. As such, he was brought over to be part of their school program and now was set up for a tour. The fact that someone named Angel and the irony thereof didn't really matter to Lewis overall. What did matter was that he was getting a tour. It would be nice to know where everything in the school was, especially before classes would start. The last thing Lewis needed was to be late to his first classes. Having woken up at his usual 6am, he had spent a large chunk of the morning on his usual routine; a quick shower, an energy bar and coffee, some exercise and weights, a long run, a second shower, then an actual breakfast. This was, for the most part, how Lewis spent everyday. He had a set routine and it helped him stay occupied. It was one of the main reasons, in his mind at least, for his physique and his work ethic. He was dedicated and focus, something he was sure that would help him in the long run. The early morning run had been nice, but Lewis could see the incoming weather. The sky had been dark and there was a coolness in the air. Clearly there was going to be rain and given how the clouds had looked, potentially even some thunder and lightning. Not that the weather, or any weather really bothered him, he was comfortable in most every type imaginable. His earlier prediction from his morning run had been correct. As he left the dorms to get to the school, the rain that had started spitting minutes before started coming down fast. The rain mixed with the winds that, while not blistering by, had picked up from the morning, cooling the air to a pleasant temperature. Again though, it was not much bother to Lewis. Clad in a pair of baggy shorts and a sleeveless tee, the devilish figure jogged through the rain. As he jogged, he focused on raising his body temperature and soon enough, the rain no longer splashed against his body and instead evaporated before touching him. Thankfully his family had invested into very flameproof clothing, allowing Lewis to pull this trick off without leaving himself exposed. Lewis arrived in the school, mostly dry and began to wandered the halls on his toes thanks to his digitigrade feet, to the meeting spot near the schools main hall. Unsurprisingly as it was a Sunday morning, roughly 9 in the morning, there wasn't really anyone in the school. Lewis had been given the option for a tour on a Sunday or a Monday, and he had figured a Sunday would be better. Sure he could have gotten a tour on a Monday, but that probably would have seen a heavier body of students and faculty in the area. With classes in the morning as well, he doubted Monday would have lent itself to a very rushed tour. His glowing yellow eyes scanned his surroundings, sure they would eventually find his guide.

A ngel found herself being rather conflicted on this Sunday morning! On one hand she was getting to show a new exchange first year around the school, but on the other the weather was rather crappy! Still she was honored that she had been both asked, and allowed to volunteer for the task and so she got dressed in a tank top she had "borrowed" from her Fiancé Miyam, a pair of simple blue jeans, her leather pride boots, one of her now trademark black trench coats and the beautiful pink engagement ring which she wore around her neck to keep it safe. Angel wasn't the earliest riser on the weekends, but she had a responsibility and besides from what she heard from the faculty it would be very fitting that she was the one that had been chosen to be the boy named Lu Himura's guide. Before setting out however Angel would quickly dip into her snack stash to grab a pack of 10 anko dongo sticks with 3 Dongo per stick which she stuffed in her left coat pocket and fix herself a chocolate fudge milkshake in a cold concealing cup with a straw to carry with her. Once Angel was dressed and had her travel snacks she made her way to the meeting location as she sipped on her milkshake. She had made sure to keep her wings flat against the back of her trench coat through the coats wing holes so that it was obvious to Lu who she was if he had seen a picture of her though her wings were not the only visual marker he would have. He would also recognize her by both the large hearing aids that acted as her actual ears, and by the long jagged vertical scar under her right eye that half way down her cheek. These three things were the biggest visual aspects that helped someone pick Angel out of a crowd since she removed her former steel slave collar early in her third year. As Angel thought about this she spotted who no doubt had to be Lu looking around for her. Before speaking up Angel quickly looked him over and stifled a chuckle as she realized why the staff thought it was good to pair the two together. After a moment Angel just cleared her throat. "You must be Lu Himura right? I was asked to give you a tour, and I gotta say that i've heard the old school walks into a bar jokes, but I've never lived one until now. Someone on the school's faculty has a sense of humor. All jokes aside it's nice to meet you. I'm Angel Surami or as I am also known "The Angel of Mercy". Hopefully I can give ya a fun tour!"Angel would then walk up to the younger student, and use her left wing like a cape in a prince like bow before standing straight once more while making sure to keep her cup in an upright position. Once she was standing straight up once more she would reach into her left coat pocket and pull out a wrapped up dango stick with her trademark from hearing aid to hearing aid grin as she offered it to him. "So, why don't you tell me about yourself while we get started? What would you like to see or what would you like to know about the school or me first?"

It really wouldn't take long for the two to spot each other. As Lewis had noticed earlier, the school was practically empty and it was easy to tell who was waiting for someone they knew, and who was waiting to meet someone new. He was part of the latter category, and so was Angel.
His glowing eyes had eventually caught a figure that matched what he had had described to him, though the wings weren't out. This was more than likely thanks to the fact they were indoors; Lewis highly doubted having wings sprawled open in hallways was not a very comfortable thing. With his pupils nearly matching the sclera of his eyes, it was hard for others to tell exactly where Lewis was looking, but his steady pace towards the other would help show his focus was on her. His eyes looked her up and down, seeing if there was anything else he could gleam from her. He noted her fashion most of all, a very casual outfit. It made him less self conscious about his decision of clothing. He also noted that, yes, in fact she did look like an angel and it wasn't just a play on words. An angel and a devil were going to be touring the school together. How very clever of the school.
"It's Lewis, actually. Lu is just shorthand. Both work though, honestly. Whichever" he answered, returning her bow with a small nod of his head. "The name rings a bell, a pleasure to meet you Angel" As the words came from his mouth, the same yellowish glow from his eyes could be seen from the back of his throat, a sign of the fire inside of him. His words were followed with another small nod as she stated her hopes of being a fun guide.
As she offered him a snack, Lewis raised a hand up and another over his stomach. "I appreciate that, but I've already eaten and I'm on a pretty set diet. I apologies" The thoughts of the treats came and went to him however as she asked him about himself. His whispy tail flicked back and forth in thought for a moment before glancing down the halls. "Could we walk and talk? I think better when I'm moving" When a direction was chosen to go, Lewis bounced a little on his toes and followed the other. "There isn't much to say about myself really. Um, I took up boxing and long distance running as a kid and haven't stopped since, that's about the most interesting thing I can think of" His words were followed with a small pause, clearly thinking of what he could say about himself. That really wasn't his strong suit, he really wasn't a fan of talking about himself.
"Uh, knowing about the school would be cool. Or what brought you to the school. I understand you're one of the top students in their last year?"

A s Lewis corrected her on his name Angel just gave him a nod as he said that her name rung a bell that it was a pleasure. This earned him another small nod as she unwrapped the dango ball stick in her hand once Lewis said that he didn't want it, and just quickly ate all three one after another before washing it down with a bit of milkshake sticking the now empty stick and its paper in her right coat pocket. The young hero remained silent as Lewis told her what she barely considered the surface level information about himself as he told her that he had been a boxer and a long distance runner his entire life while saying he thought better while moving. To this Angel just motioned for him to follow as she took another sip from her milkshake. "I'm the same way when it comes to thinking better while i'm on the move. I know there has to be a bit more to you Lewis then those two things. I am of the firm belief that every single piece of a person's puzzle is an important part of who they are be it good or bad. For instance aside from the first two things what do you like to do for fun? I had to learn the hard way that even though being heroes is a big part of our lives it can't be our entire life. We have to take care of ourselves just as much as we do others. For example things I like to do include shopping, going to candy stores or ice cream parlors, spending time with my goth fiancé, or hanging out at the orphanage and youth center I founded and teach courses at. What kind of things interest you?"As Angel spoke she kept her speed at a normal quirkless human level in case Lewis couldn't keep up. As she walked she headed in the direction of one of the general training arenas where a lot of students did things like weight lifting or other general exercising that didn't require another person such as sparring. As they walked, and Lewis asked Angel what brought her to school and called her one of the top third years she couldn't help but blush a bit as she grinned back at him for the compliment. "Well the school has only been open for three years, but is already quite famous. We helped save the city from a literal zombie outbreak recently! Like a total night of the living dead situation! I was on the front lines, and everything! It was actually pretty rad! Plus we have those televised sports festival competitions which are also pretty rad. The school also had this awesome training facility built called Fort Slog which is basically like a tower that you have to work your way through facing all manner of different challenges like a maze, robots, and various other things. The way it works is a student, pair of students or a group of them choose a difficulty level that they are allowed to challenge, and one of the faculty members or a guest pro operates the tower from another room. If a third year can complete the highest difficulty level by themselves then it proves that they are ready to be full pro heroes. I have completed it on the second to hardest difficulty level, but I had a partner. I haven't done it solo yet. There are three tower floors total. Each more challenging then the last, and you can take the challenge whenever you like."As Lewis asked what brought her to U.A. Angel stopped in her tracks right outside of the general gym room and placed her free palm against the door without looking back at Lewis. "You and I of all people know what it's like to be judged due to how we look because of our quirks. Well I was also born without ears or ear drums thus the hearing aids I'm wearing. Well both the fact that I was born with a quirk, and a disability didn't sit well with my quirkist father. He made my mom and I's lives a living hell until I turned 15 and stole our freedom so we could move in with my aunt. That's the day the Angel of Mercy was born, and it's also why I have dedicated my life to becoming a symbol of love and unity for the world. I even founded my own orphanage and youth center as I said before where both quirkers and quirkless can live or visit and learn new talents, learn to control their quirks so they can live normal civilian lives or just come to do homework with friends while their parents work. The goal of the place is to bridge the gap between the two peoples."Angel then opened the door to the gym to show all of the general work out a equipment like treadmills and weight lifting gear as well as rings hooked to the ceiling for fliers to practice with. "Thought we'd start with the boring stuff first. This is just one of the general work out rooms. There are a few of them."

Lewis really wasn't the type of person to talk about himself. He was also not the type to understand those who did. To him, talking about oneself was either a sign of a large ego, a want for recognition, a need for validation, or just utter naivety. Though those thoughts of those who talked about themselves resided in Lewis' mind, so too did his fathers words. Just not lest ye be judged[/b]. Sure it may have sprouted from the religious rhetoric of his growing up, but it was a saying Lewis lived by. It wasn't his place to judge others, even if he didn't see the need to talk about oneself. That didn't mean that he didn't need to be slightly put off by the exchange.
Angel had described a lot of things about herself and divulged a lot of things Lewis would not have done himself to someone he had just met. Not only were some of the things she talked about seemingly tooting her own horn, but some of it seemed out of place and unneeded. He doubted he needed to know she had a fiance, let alone one that was goth. Was that really necessary? Not to mention, if she was a third year student, that made her, what? Seventeen or eighteen? And she was getting married already? And she owned an orphanage? There was just a lot to take in, and a lot of things he figured he probably hadn't needed to know.
"Exercise" His reply had been a little plain. She seemed genuinely nice and eager to learn about him, which was why she was probably so open about herself. While Lewis could appreciate that, he really didn't have much to say. He was plain and simple. There were only a few things in life he really would go out of his way to say that he liked, and to him, they were so self-explanatory that they didn't need to be expanded upon. He liked spending his time working out, running, boxing, most anything that revolved around staying fit. Anything to occupy his mind away from his thoughts.
Lewis was never a fan of being alone with his thoughts, and despite that, he was usually quite quiet. It was seemingly another side of the coin that was himself and Angel. She was very talkative, at least from the few moments that Lewis had now known her for. She was also very detailed in her talking. A lot of people, when they talked and talked and talked, often just rambled. Angel was at least more detailed in her speech, but that still didn't change Lewis' perception that there was a lot she added that didn't need to be stated. Sure many things, like Fort Slog and the sports events, may have came up later and this was just nipping them in the butt ahead of time, but to Lewis, they were things that could have waited.
Despite the building being so large, it didn't seem like there was much walking to be done. Perhaps that was just because of the constant conversation that was going on, perhaps it was something else.
Their walking halted for a second as she spoke once more. Again, to Lewis, divulging more than she needed to. "Huh" was all that escaped his mouth as she explained her childhood and starting an orphanage. Again, was she trying to impress him, big up her own accomplishments, rub it in his face that she apparently had boundless sums of money to have started up such a foundation, garner sympathy for her life? A lot of what she said seemed to be coming from differing avenues, and while, again, Lewis was sure she was just explaining what she thought she needed to explain, Lewis figured he could have done without about half of it. With that thought in his head however, it was good to hear her end goal. "Light at the end of the tunnel, I suppose" Lewis commented at the end of her story, giving a small nod.
As she opened followed her speech up with opening the doors to a gym, claiming it was a boring room, Lewis' unnoticeable pupils darted around the room, taking in everything it could. "Are the open daily? At all times?" Lewis had been simple in his retort earlier, but it was true. His big passion was exercise, and if there was a place to do so that the school funded, he'd be there almost every moment he could be. "Not boring at all. Good chance to improve oneself; always better than the day before"

A ngel couldn't help but chuckle to herself at how different she and this young first were. While Angel was rather hyperactive and forthcoming Lewis seemed to be rather quiet and reserved only answering mostly in one word phrases or short sentences. It was actually pretty nice, and yet a bit disappointing at the same time for Angel's extroverted personality. Though Angel could think of a few students she had met in her time at U.A. that were quite similar, and all honestly on her more reflective days Angel could be the same. It still made Angel smirk as she leaned into the door way so that Lewis could walk through if he liked as he commented on the light at the end of the tunnel, and asked if the gym rooms were open at all times. "Devil of few words I see! I can respect that Lewis! To answer your question the gym rooms aren't open during class time except for actual gym classes when teachers decide to use them, but after that they are open until the mandatory curfew. I myself benefit more from person vs. person training. I do use the gym rooms now and again, but I am of the mind set that when all is said and done I want to leave the world, and everyone in it at least a little better then when I found them. I see sparring as a chance to do that for both myself and the other person. Besides I tend to find more out about a person by the way and why they fight."Once Lewis had a chance to look the gym room over Angel would leave the doorway of the first gym room, and walk past the next three and in the direction of the club rooms and the support course lab/ classroom which was separate from the hero course classrooms. As she walked Angel remained silent as she contemplated what to say, or ask next. It took a few minutes of silent walking as Angel finished off her milkshake and stuffed the cup into her left coat pocket, but she finally figured out the exact questions she wanted to ask Lewis, and unlike before these question and his answers would help define his time at the school, and down the line his time as a pro hero. "I know you aren't much of a talker by this point, so these next couple questions I want you to really think about. When you find the answers be it now or later I want you to answer them not to me or someone else, but to yourself alright. You asked me what brought me to U.A., and I answered. I ask you the same question but in a deeper way. What made you want to become a hero, and by extension what kind of hero do you want to be? When you are finally out in the view of the country and by extention the world, what are you going to stand for? What are you going to represent? When your time as a hero comes to an end, what do you want to be remembered for?"Once Angel finished her line of questioning she pulled out another of her Anko dango sticks and unwrapped it, tossing the trash from it and her last one in a nearby trash can with an absent minded flick showing just how do at aiming she was as with a single flick and a bounce off of the windowsill it landed directly in the trash bin. She then ate the first ball, and quickly chewed and swallowed it before stopping outside the support course lab and slid open the door stepping inside, but remining by the door frame. "Aside from your home room, and the hero course training areas you may be spending quite a bit of time in this room. The support course has a home room like the rest of us, but this is where they do the majority of their work. This lab is where they design and create not only our hero costumes, but the support gear that goes with them if you require it. Do keep in mind that while they can design and repair your hero gear here to a point that for major reworks or repairs they have to send it off to actual hero support companies. For example, My auntie designed the look of my hero costume, but the support course & a hero support company actually created it based on notes provided about my quirk and fighting style. Over time you may find that your fighting style may change, so your gear will have to change with it."Angel would give Lewis time to look around the room, but as he did so she let out a little whistle. "In this room unless you are a support course student, it's a look but don't touch policy. The support course gets pretty upset if we mess with their stuff. Once you are done looking around we are heading to the club rooms next, or at least where they take place. That reminds me not that it applies to you, but the cheerleading club, the martial arts club and sports are based out of the gym area I showed you a moment ago though the sports club also meets out in the sports fields, and the support course lab where we are now is where the Robotics club meets."Angel would then leave the door way after finishing her current Anko Dango stick, flicking it once more in the same trash can before pulling out a third as she walked, and unwrapping it. No doubt Lewis was gonna get curious how she could stomach so many sweets so early in the morning. "So Lewis, while we head to our next destinations, Do you have any more questions for me?"

Lewis wandered the gym as Angel spoke, taking in her words on training and the gym. He fully understood where she was coming from in her approach to training. A lot of combat sports couldn't properly be trained for as a solo exercise, and Lewis figured that must have been much the same for hero work as well. There was likely little to no benefit to solely focusing on yourself when you needed to learn how to deal with threats. That said however, just regular every day exercise and training was something Lewis enjoyed in solidarity. Listening to some music or motivational speeches while focused on making gains was a great way to spend a day in Lewis' mind.
He nodded to her explanation of the timeframe for the gym. "Sparring's fun" Another short comment, but he still didn't feel like he had much to say. To him, he really didn't need to speak if there was nothing to say. Words, as fleeting as they could be, could leave an unintended mark. True, this was probably a scenario where that wouldn't happen, but it was best to air on the side of caution.
Her words that followed did indeed make Lewis think, and a thoughtful look came to his face. As he thought, he reached into a pocket, pulled out a hair tie, and fixed his hair back into a ponytail. The long hair was pulled tightly back, and Lewis contemplated her words. He had thought of that before; why he wanted to be a hero. Despite the world around him and the people who not only distrusted quirks, but also leered at him for how he looked, his parents' belief in him never faltered. They loved him unconditionally, were so proud of who he was, and supported every decision that he made. Sure they had made comments about how they were positive Lewis had been sent to them by the Lord himself, and was someone sent to absolve people of their sins, but they never forced that upon him. As much as they wanted to believe that, they knew Lewis' path was his own to make. And really, that was why he wanted to be a hero. To prove his parents they were right; to show them their belief in him wasn't misplaced. Maybe he wouldn't be able to absolve people of their sins (how could you even do that?) but perhaps he could help those in need. Maybe he could help people doing bad deeds see the error of their ways.
"If I could help people see the errors of their ways...Absolve them of their misdeeds, their sins, so to speak, I would like to do that" He had actually responded and answered her relatively quickly compared to the rest of the conversations thus far. Perhaps it was a bit of a zealous ideal to hold. Maybe it came off a little righteous, but that was how Lewis had been raised. He wasn't sure how he could absolve people of their misdeeds, and maybe he should have became a lawyer instead, but maybe being a hero could help. He wasn't looking to be some sort of messiah-figure, but if he could guide people down their correct path, whatever that might be, Lewis felt like that would be a massive win.
Perhaps he had shared too much however. He really didn't like talking about himself or his own plans, so sharing such a detail seemed counterproductive to him. It really wasn't important, so Lewis thought. Just wanting to be a hero should be reason enough to become a hero. Any other reason would just be filler, so explaining it was just sharing personal information.
The thoughts persisted as they continued on and into the Support room. Once more he listened to her words and thought on them. He really couldn't see a use for any gear or items for himself. His current idea for a suit, so to speak, was just a pair of boxing trunks. The less cloths meant that Lewis' body could breathe more. While he himself didn't overheat, his body did heat up, and that could lead to things around him burning or melting. The less cloths meant more heat could escape and wasn't concentrated on just a few locations.
He did take a few moments to look at all the intricate items in the shop, before following Angel once more. He gave a nod to her clubs comment and added a mental note to the martial arts part. Perhaps he could find someone there to spar with, maybe another boxer if he was lucky.
While Lewis had his own eating habits and diet, he paid very little attention to how others ate. Everyone had different metabolisms, and given the world they lived in, there were people who probably needed very specific meal plans. So how many sweets that Angel was eating didn't bother the devil child at all. And when she asked him if he had another additional questions for her, he shook his head. She had pretty much told him her entire life story without even being asked about it, so there really wasn't much Lewis could think to ask her about. Given how chatty she was as well, Lewis was sure if there was something important that he forgot to ask about that she would mention it. Maybe he could ask her if she was always so upfront with telling her life story to complete strangers? But would that be a rude thing to ask? The last thing Lewis wanted to do was be rude.
"Not that I can think of, sorry" He did feel a tinge of regret. She was being very polite and conversing a lot, but he hadn't had much to say. That was just who he was though, he never really was much of a talker. It did make for moments like this a little tenuous and awkward, honestly.

D espite her jokes, holding a one sided conversation was somewhat difficult. Angel felt as if she were talking a brick wall, thus why she was asking him so many different questions. Maybe instead of keeping things so personal she would try and keep things more focused on school. It's all Lewis seemed to want to talk about anyway, and so she would oblige him the best she could. As Lewis told her that he thought sparring was fun Angel just nodded as she crossed her arms allowing him to explore the design studio once they had left the gym area since she had already given him a warning not to touch anything. As she watched him she just remained leaned against the doorframe as she thought about how to keep the conversation moving. "if I may ask, aside from the obvious mutation part of your quirk, is there anything that goes with it? Can you glow in the dark? summon lava? I don't know hypnotize people? I only ask because like I said even if you choose to be a hero that is not in the public eye as much as others even the smallest support items can be of use like devices that regular body temperature, Friction proof materials if you have super speed, and other stuff like that. I don't know if you have already picked out a hero suit yet or not, but just know there are laws, and rules about how much skin you can show even for men. If your quirk does have some kind of heat based element there are thin materials that the support course can use to design your suit so you aren't running around naked."As Lewis told her that he wanted to be able to absolve people of their misdeeds, and of their sins so to speak it got Angel thinking about what she should say next if anything at all. Religion was a touchy subject especially when a lot of mythological beings in some part became real through quirks like they had through both Lewis and herself. Despite that Lewis from what she understood believed in Christianity while she herself believed in the Greek Pantheon of gods and goddesses she knew better to bring her religious beliefs into her crime fighting unless it was absolutely needed, and so she only had one thing to say on it. "That's all well and good and I can appreciate having a religious basis to part of why you fight, but try and remember to keep that to yourself with your rescued victims unless it's relivent to the situation. The world of heroes is still getting on its feet, and so we don't wanna give the critics ammo they can use against us. Though I whole heartedly believe that having a belief system is rather important in our line of work be it religious or otherwise."As they continued to walk since she had already told him where the club rooms were located she decided to start on a course to the cafeteria. "Speaking of your quirk, it did give me a thought Lewis. Given your.. unique appearance, have you ever considered being a night time hero? That is if you can see in the dark. If not like I said earlier the support course could whip you up something cool like night vision goggles or something. I just think with the whole devil theme your quirk naturally has going for it, if you worked at night not only could you scare the crap of bad guys and make them wanna change their ways, but you would avoid accidently scaring the public. Off of the top of my head I actually can't recall a lot of pro heroes that choose to work souly during the night, so it could be something you could start and become well known for."As they reached the cafeteria, Angel pushed opened the door to show the massive room. It look like a way fancier version of regular high school cafeteria which would be rather full come the beginning of the week, and had better food. "One of my favorite rooms in the school! Each meal or set of meals is specifically designed for specific quirks or dietary needs, and unlike normal public and even some private high schools always tastes great. They do the shifts by year. First is well..first then second, then third. Self explanatory. If your quirk requires something special or comes with some kind of allergy you can request and submit a special form from and too the principal so that he can let the lunch staff know. I just wish they made food from other countries. The only time they do that is during the festivals. If you wanna look around I got another quick question for you. Do you have a favorite pro hero? My top three are Yellow Jacket, Ultra Violet and Red Horn, but I am a bit Biased because I've worked with all three before."

Perhaps she thought he was rude, given how lopsided their conversations had been. While they had been dominated by her, it simply was for the fact Lewis had nothing to add or so. He truly wasn't trying to be rude, but if he felt there was nothing to say, then it would be pointless to speak. Not to mention some of the questions she asked didn't seem to warrant an extensively large reply. If he had nothing to say, he would say nothing.
He gave a little laugh as she asked him some more questions, specifically at the glow in the dark part. "I guess I kind of do, glow in the dark that is. Uh, outside of the appearance, I can breath fire and regulate my body temperature with ease. The fire leads to a light, so to speak, inside of me. Maybe you saw it when I talked? My eyes kind of glow too" As the teenager talked, the glow he mentioned would be seen coming from the back of his throat. There was a constant fire burning within him, and even his yellow eyes seemed to have a bit of fire to them as the glowed with the same faint aura. He thought a bit on her comments about a hero costume and he mentally shrugged. "All my cloths are fire proof already, parents made sure of that. I was just planning on wearing that stuff" He really hadn't ever thought about a costume. The comment about exposed skin made sense, and while his body did need to expel heat more often, he was sure he could train himself to better regulate that sort of thing.
He listened carefully to her comments about beliefs and all he could give in response was a nod. He never intended to shove his beliefs into anyones faces, so to speak. He was under the impression everyone was entitled to their own thoughts and beliefs and it wasn't his job to change peoples minds. Really, his beliefs were there to guide him in his path of life. Other could follow whatever they wanted to follow.
He thought on her suggestion of being a night time hero, and gave a little laugh at the suggestion of scaring the villains. "Perhaps, but if any regular person is out at night, I'm sure they'd also get scared" It was a good suggestion though. While he didn't have night-vision, his faint glowing eyes did somewhat help his vision at night. His quirk also seemed to keep mutating as he aged, so perhaps he would eventually get something in that sense, or like she suggested, maybe support could make him something. "I'll keep it in mind though"
The two soon made it to the cafeteria and Lewis took in her words and the sight. It was good the school would cater to the needs of the students. He figured some probably had very restrictive diets, or like she said, allergies. He was lucky he didn't have either, but he had set himself up on a set diet as it was already. He was sure the school would have foods that would fall in line with his meal sets however.
"Hmm, not really, no. They're all pretty cool" He had never really thought of it. The heroes and vigilantes that were out and about were all neat in their own ways. None of them really stuck out to him as a favourite.
She had given him ample time to explore and he went to the doorway and looked down the halls. "Classrooms next?"
