So what if she was a late arrival to U.A Highschool? What better way to make a grand entrance! Back home, everybody knew her name... okay well they knew her family's name, not necessarily hers... DETAILS. That didn't matter at all! Emiyo was used to being in the spotlight and often found herself acting the part of the celebrity. Things would surely be no different here at U.A.
As the girl walked onto the school grounds for the first time, she flipped back her long black ponytail and looked up at the school with a big grin on her face, standing proudly with her bag over her shoulder, ready to face the world. In that moment the dark haired girl looked like the epitome of grace, a true elitist through and through. Though, it wasn't long for that image to break. As Emiyo approached the school, ready to flaunt her stuff and be welcomed as the celebrity s he no doubt was... something in the training field caught her eye.
A group of students were demonstrating their strength development to their teacher by each tossing what looked like a mechanical ball. Try as she might to resist her urges, Emiyo soon found a whine escaping her throat as she watched the ball soar through the skies. Comically, a big white and poofy tail suddenly manifested behind her, wagging from one side to the next excitedly. One could also swear they saw the bow on her head twitch in the direction of the students.
No sooner had Emiyo taken her first step up to the school had she transformed into a large white dog, her U.A uniform dropping to the ground where she stood, laying in a heap next to her bag. The girl, now dog, took off at a sprint, a loud excited bark escaping her lips as she booked it towards the metallic ball that had been thrown by those that would become her peers.
"WOOF WOOF AROOOOO" The dog howled as she ran like a police K9 after a criminal towards the ball. She skidded to a stop, tripping over her feet and tumbling after the ball before scooping it up into her jaws and panting excitedly...

Post by Kumoko Joro on Dec 27, 2020 20:37:53 GMT -4
There were so many thoughts flying around in Kumoko's head as she was walking outside. What to do for Christmas? What to sew next? Would her friends like the presents she planned to get for each and every single one of them? Would her foster dad be alright at home all by himself? How were all her friends doing? Would villains try to do something nefarious to ruin everyone's holiday? And just why does she trip so often? The poor clumsy girl had tripped fifteen times today! ...Nope, now it was sixteen.
Why does keep on happening to me?
Sighing as she pulled herself up, Kumoko noticed a rather unusual sight. Eh? Is that... is that a dog on campus? The spider-headed girl tilted her head slightly, staring at the white canine with her six golden eyes. Whose dog is this? I thought pets weren't allowed. Is someone disregarding the rules again? She knew a certain stickler for the rules would scoff condescendingly at such a thought. However, it was possible that this dog was not necessarily brought here by a student. Are you a stray? There was also the possibility that this was no dog at all. Perhaps it was a student? Or a student's quirk?
Regardless of what this dog (or quirk resembling a dog) was, or where it came from, Kumoko became curious. She decided to approach it carefully. Was this dog friendly? Would it run off after looking at the spider girl's frightening face? Would it try to attack her? Or would it decide it wanted to play with her? In any case, Kumoko did not want this dog to get itself into any trouble. Perhaps a teacher would know what to do in case it actually was a stray dog and not a student?
As Kumoko got closer, she saw that the white dog had its eyes on a ball, grabbing it with its jaws. Not wanting to startle it (or at least as little as possible given that the girl literally had a quirk that screamed unsettling), Kumoko spoke in a low voice. Not too loud, but still very much audible. "Hi there." Naturally, Kumoko was careful to not get too close. She wanted to give the dog plenty of space in case she did frighten it. "You wanna play with that ball, huh?" That was a stupid question. Of course the dog wanted to play with the ball. Why else would it want to grab it? Kumoko resisted the urge to facepalm at her own stupidity.
Alright, it was best to just get straight to the point. Assuming that the dog did not just instantly run away at the sight of the spider girl, Kumoko would crouch down to try and look less scary and intimidating, then try speaking to the dog on the off chance that it actually understood her. "So where did you come from? Are you a stray? Somebody bring you here? Or are you a student and not a dog?" Kumoko felt a bit embarrassed. Leaning down to speak to a dog, who might not even understand a word she was saying.
Still, it was best to try and not leave this dog alone. So for now, Kumoko would try and keep the dog company. Unless it did not want her anywhere close, which would honestly be perfectly understandable.

In hindsight, Jasmine hadn't expected half of the things that had happened today. Despite being quite tuckered out last night she didn't think she was tired enough to completely pass out at Yumi's place, at which point by morning her entire routine had gone out the window and she ended up speeding across the freeway on her motorcycle to make it to class on time; Yumi, you're a doll, but for fuck's sake you should've woken me up! she thought, sighing at the memory of having woken up in the redhead's bedroom with nothing but a You looked too cute to wake up <3 note on the nightstand. She also hadn't expected to have run into Red Horn that very same early morning and having to help her deal with a group of thugs cheeky enough to try and rob a gas station in broad goddamn daylight. Morons. Yet another thing she didn't think was going to happen was one of her tracks suddenly going viral on uTube and blowing her phone up with notifications. A fuckin' agent called me. What in the world...
Least of all, Jasmine certainly hadn't expected to see someone transform into a dog right there on campus and chase a metallic ball some of the students were using for class!
Okay that part of Jasmine's odd equation might've not been the strangest thing to have happened to her all morning considering said agent wanted to schedule a meeting, but it was still pretty bizarre. She'd seen and been a part of quite a few awkward situations in her years at the school and yet she still kept being surprised.
Oh, and to make matters even weirder? Jasmine decided to title the next sequence in this peculiar screenplay dog meets spider. Yeah, like a scene straight out of some kind of bootleg Disney flick.
Sighing and shaking her head, Jasmine half chuckled with mild amusement. Twin azures traveled from the two girls over to where the canine left her clothes after transforming. Quickly realizing the situation would likely get about twenty times more awkward if she didn't do something about it, Jasmine decided to do the opposite of her usual stay the hell away from the weird, Jaz, stance on things and calmly walked over to shuffle the girl's clothes into her hands and folded them neatly in her grip. Carefully she approached the two girls, offering a nod to the familiar Kumoko -- the protege Angel just wouldn't shut up about, evidently... though frankly Jasmine couldn't help but wonder if the spider girl even knew about this -- and a quirked brow of curiosity towards the large white hound.
"Do you always leave your clothes behind when you transform?" Jasmine asked casually, something of an amused smirk crossing her lips. She reckoned this girl was one of their new students. Far be it for her to abstain from using her status as a senior and not tease her a little. "I reckon that's made for quite a few awkward situations over the years, huh? Saved you another one. You're welcome," Jasmine added, placing the once discarded items of clothing by Kumoko and the pooch.
Ah, what a life among teenagers with superpowers.

Stupid exercises. Wakaba grimaced at the number of wrote exercises she was bound to day after day. She thought she was supposed to be learning how to fight villains and stuff! Why the hell weren't they doing more combat exercises or something? Why the hell were they spending time chucking balls across a field? Quirk control? Didn't matter how well she could control her quirk if she couldn't kick someone in the butt hard enough! "Asami-san? You're next." Wakaba sighed. Second time they had gone through all of this, third round all ready. Okay, if she was being real with herself she was a bit jealous that she couldn't get the ball to go that far... but still! It was so stupid that she was being graded for how far she could throw a fucking ball! She pushed herself off of the nearby wall and took lazy steps to where everyone else had been tossing only moments before. "Ugh, fine!" She wanted to dismiss the entire exercise altogether, in truth, but she shoved it all down and let it simmer in her gut. It just wasn't worth it to get into a spat with her teacher and get another week of detention or something. She swiped the ball right out of his hand and tossed in place a few times. One of the other students snickered at her for a moment before she shot him a deadly gaze from the corner of her eye. "Yeah, that's right twerp, shut it!" Alright, if he thought he was so much better then all she had to do was get a better score than he did and shove that number right up his ass and make him sing a different tune! She could feel her pores twitch as she summoned forth her quirk, her spicy green slime slid down her arms and gathered around the ball in her hand. Forty-five degrees, right? Her aim shifted upwards and she squinted her eyes. Her want to wipe the smug right off the poser's face was going to send his stupid ball right out of campus borders! YEET! Alas... even using her quirk to carry the ball as far as she could, she could tell it would hardly make it past the thirty or forty meters she managed last time! She ran her fingers through her hair, hardly paying attention to the nonchalant read-off of whatever distance she had managed. She could hear that prick snickering again! She clenched her fist, swearing that she was about she was about to deck the guy in the face, she saw it! That floofy tail! Was that a dog? It looked like a dog! "I'll uhhh... I'll go get it" Of course, she didn't wait for her teacher's permission, nor cared for anyone else's protest as she took off in a jog towards the precious pupper! As she got closer to Kumoko and Emiyo. "H-hey," She stammered, her eyes staring wide at the transformed student. "I was- are they your dog?" Wakaba squated down only a few feet from them. She started to stick out her hand for Emiyo to sniff. "Can I pet him.. her?"

自由自在 to be free; completely unrestrained. To say that Jack's life had been great lately would honestly be an understatement. Not to go too far into details, between his first actual Christmas coming up and the shocking realization that the dragon boy was going to be graduating early, he could only do so much not to be constantly bouncing off the walls in excitement. He hadn't really told anyone about it yet, except maybe Eli, mostly because he wanted to keep it a surprise just for a bit longer. His dreams of becoming a true Pro...they were coming fast.
However, it was almost a bit too fast, in retrospect. That's why Jack had decided to essentially just take advantage of the next few weeks and relax. Let the excitement of not only graduating but also meeting Meara's parents for the first time soon settle in his mind. The less of a nervous wreck he was, the better. He decided to hang out by the lake on campus, laying on a rock in his tiny dragon form. He sighed in content as he felt the sun warm his scales and muscles. He stuck his tongue out, and shot a puff of steam out of his snout.
He was about to just doze off and sleep before the sharp barking of a dog interrupted his thoughts. A rather loud squeak would come out of the small dragon, echoing across campus to a probable varying degree. The tiny dragon would quickly look around, trying to figure out what was going on. A dog? Here? Did one of those dang samoyeds get onto campus somehow? He should probably talk to the principal about keeping a better eye on that...
He would promptly hop down from his rock, and scamper off towards the general direction of all the noise. He would stalk quietly through the bushes, being surprisingly stealthy. Before too long, he would come across the source of all the commotion. He eyed Jaz and Kumoko being there, along with a girl he didn't recognize. A newer First Year, maybe? Chat's been quiet lately, so he was kind of out of the loop there.
Then, of course, was the main event: a white dog, a decent bit bigger than Jack was in his tiny dragon form. It looked odd, though. Was that...hair? Besides the normal fur? Jack's sharp purple eyes narrowed, trying to make sense of it all. However, two main thoughts were coming to him the most: another animalistic rival, and...maybe the ball that's in it's mouth. He did like balls, for some odd reason. He considered his options for a moment, and then decided to make his move.
He would make a show of rustling the bush he was in, before emerging in the most unceremonious way possible, trotting on over with a surprisingly chill look in his eyes for once. His attention was clearly on the dog for the most part, but he looked up at the others, making a rather odd sound that was a mix of a growl and a yip in greeting. "Hola," he said rather simply, before going back to eyeing the dog.
"...Either I need to talk with security about keeping dogs out better, or I'm assuming this is a new student?" he asked, his tail swaying from side to side, before suddenly jumping up, like he was challenging the dog a little bit. He would probably wait and chat for a bit, but it was clear enough the dragon was in a mood to mess around himself.

Emiyo found that the ball wasn't at all soft on her teeth... obviously, it was hard and metallic so not too fun to chew on. This made the dog girl huff as she let the ball fall back down onto the ground, staring at it accusingly as she licked at her teeth, ensuring they were all still there after biting this thing so vigorously. Who the hell played with a metal ball!? What an atrocity. Still, she couldn't quite pull herself away from it just yet, and that's when her first guest appeared. When she heard the girls hesitant voice speak to her, she instinctively reached down and took the ball more gently into her mouth once more, protecting it from anyone that had come to take it from her.
The girl that appeared was rather strange to the young pup! She had this big round thing on her head with dangly little strands! kind of like hair really... or legs! Spider butt! this girl had a spider butt on her head! Emiyo's eyes turned big as she stared up at Kumoko without a sound or movement. It wasn't until Kumoko asked if she was a student here as well that Emiyo snapped out of it. She shook her head and put the ball down between her feet. She would bark at the spider girl a few times as if answering her, wagging her tail to show she wasn't being agressive. Ultimately, Emiyo couldn't talk when she was in this form. She let out a huff and whimper, as she realized she couldn't exactly transform back to a human right then and there...
And as if the heavens had heard her, a second girl came towards the pair with clothes in hand. She promptly started barking again, abandoning the ball at her feet and darting towards the girl who had just put her clothes down by them. She essentially tackled Jasmine by jumping up onto her hind legs, placing her front paws on her and attempting to vigorously lick her face, tail swaying from side to side like a maniac. A few more barks indicated a thank you.
She would then push herself off of the older girl and head towards her clothes, sniffing at them for a moment before lying down on her stomach and trying to nudge her clothes into the fabric. She had sort of gotten used to getting clothes on in this form, so it was only a little difficult to get the shirt around her floofy head. Too occupied with trying to get dressed, she wouldn't notice Wakaba who had arrived, asking to pet her. Finally she got her paws through the arms of the shirt, and it just hung loosely on her body, like someone was attempting to dress their dog for shits and giggles.
Then, Jack arrived and Emiyo felt her body stiffen. The hair behind her neck rose up, her front shoulders tending backwards as a threatening growl started to emit from her throat as she looked over towards the strange creature that dared to challenge her. She bared her teeth at him, holding her ground and guarding both her clothes and the ball.

Kumoko still could not personally figure out if this dog here was an actual dog, or if it was a quirk of some kind. The girl felt bad that she actually doubted UA's security a bit. Who knows if this was just a super intelligent dog that was smart enough to evade security. After all, there's a super smart possum hero here, so anything was possible.
But then Jasmine showed up. And upon hearing the words her senpai said, the spider girl immediately felt the urge to facepalm hard for her utter stupidity. ...Oh my gosh, I'm so stupid. Now Kumoko felt bad, for several reasons. One, not being able to tell the difference between a real dog and a person pretending to be one, and thus not showing the new student the proper respect and etiquette they deserve. Two, actually doubting the security that kept each and every student at UA safe from potential intruders and villain attacks. And three, already leaving a terrible first impression and coming off as an incompetent moron.
"Y-yeah, a bullet dodged there. Thank you." Kumoko chuckled awkwardly, just wanting to smack her head on the nearest wall repeatedly. Or maybe the ground? Fortunately, the arrival of other students distracted Kumoko long enough to forget about seriously considering actually faceplanting herself. The first student was not someone the spider girl knew. A first year, perhaps? Kumoko figured that the least she could do was help this girl avoid the same mistake and embarrassment she just had to endure. "Er, that's not a dog. That's a student, I think." There, crisis averted! Unless the dog person actually liked getting headpats from strangers?
The second student was one Kumoko knew, though not too personally. It was a shame, since she respected Jack. Anyway, he arrived and asked about the dog. "The latter, I think?" For all the spider girl knew, this could just be a random person who wandered in somehow, but again, she already felt bad for doubting UA's security. Surely they wouldn't be careless enough to just let any random person in. Surely this dog person had to be a new student. ...Right?
Speaking of the dog person, Kumoko smiled nervously. "Er, so hi, and welcome to UA. I must say your quirk really is impressive. Very convincing. Really had me fooled there." A nervous chuckle. This was so embarrassing! "Er, maybe the rest of us should look away for a moment if you need to change back? Privacy, and all that?" Kumoko just got here, and she already wanted to consider just leaving. Why was she so good at screwing up so badly?

"Whoa there!" Jasmine exclaimed with a little surprise as the canine jumped her, hands quickly grabbing the large front paws and one leg buckling backwards for support so she didn't end up being rolled over. Chuckles turned to giddy laughter as Jasmine turned her head, exposing only her cheek for the pup's sudden affections. A few giggles left the black and gold haired third year as she ruffled the dog's ears, helping it back onto the ground on all fours.
She sighed softly as she crouched down, a small smile on her face. Kumoko seemed to have been going on her usual trail of embarrassment, which admittedly Jasmine found quite amusing. Another girl was also quick to show herself, "Feel free. Pretty sure she won't mind," she said, nodding at the younger girl who Jasmine assumed was a first year. It was funny how a pup was able to catch the attention of everybody and brighten their day.
"Uh-oh, here comes the dragon," Jasmine added, glancing over her shoulder with an amused smirk on her face. By his posture alone she could tell the second year (or was it third year now? Far as she remembered he was graduating with her class? She couldn't remember the rumors) was in the mood to, uh... play? A dragon and a dog. Huh.
Jasmine shook her head and huffed as she stood up and stretched. "I'm late for class so Imma have to go but, uh... you kinds play nice, yeah?" The third year said, pointedly addressing her statement to Jack knowing how prideful the guy could get. If dragon fetch or whatever he used to call it was any indication dragons were apparently not much different from dogs which, in hindsight, was a rather funny fact. Jasmine couldn't help but imagine herself throwing a ball into the air which a massive winged lizard tried to catch in its massive maw. Christ U.A. never failed to amuse her.
In which case, the musician quickly turned on her heel and bolted for the main building, already wondering the jokes Red Horn was about to crack at her expense for being late. No doubt some of them would have to do with Yumi... or, well, maybe something about models in general. Wouldn't be the first time, she thought, both annoyed and amused at the same time.
Just another day in the life, she sighed again. Way to start the week.

"Eh? Really?" Student? What were they smoking? What was SHE smoking? Was this some kind of prank by the other students? That prick! HE must have had something to do with this!... Okay, no, that was a bit stupid on its premise. Still, she could do little but watch dumbfounded as the dog started getting herself dressed right in front of her very eyes.
"Hi?" At this point she didn't even know who half these upperclassmen were, let alone wrapping her mind around the cutest lizard she ever laid eyes on was one too. She stared dumbfounded as the rest of the conversation carried on around her. Honestly, the only thing keeping her from wanting to give Jack a scritch on the head was the booming voice that he was using!
Jasmine's quick departure was probably the best indicator that she needed to get out soon too. Easy to forget that she was right in the middle of class! "Asami-san!" Her teacher would shout, his voice barely reaching through the expansive field.
The girl's disposition was quick to change, her face quickly turning into the intense glare that she had been wearing for the rest of the day. She was quick to rise to her feet and run a hand of fingers through her hair. "Tch!" The girl smirked at her teacher's persistence!
"I guess you guys are cool, name's Asami." She gave the lot of whoever remained a little snap with her fingers before starting to walk towards the metal ball. "Your quirk's kinda... cool?" She hesitated, still finding it weird to talk to a dog that was busy trying to play with... another one of the students. "Maybe we'll talk again sometime? Ciao!" She tried to sound nonchalant as she could as she bent down to pick up the metal ball. Yes, the metal ball that was right by the girl-turned-dog, apparently.
She would walk her way right back to her teacher if nothing happened stopped her. [EXIT... unless?]

自由自在 to be free; completely unrestrained. Jack snorted a little bit as Jasmine was the first to make note of his presence, letting the little joking comment slide. "Eh, I'm only in this form right now 'cuz I was napping. Y'all know how to wake a guy up," he replied simply, stretching out his legs and yawning widely. Granted, even if he wasn't trying to nap and sunbathe, he probably still would have wandered over in this form. He was a goof like that, though he would never actually say that out loud.
Kumoko then confirmed that the dog, who was now snarling rather menacingly at Jack, was indeed a student. Jack smirked as best as he could in his current form, clearly even more ready to play around with the newbie. At least this meant he had more of a potential playmate during his last few months at U.A., assuming he passed that test. The thought of that alone got Jack even more pumped up, and his tail swayed from side to side. He snorted, shooting steam from his nose, his eyes solely on the dog student and the ball in front of her.
"Yeah yeah, I'll play nice. Dragon's honor and all that. Ain't about to go scaring off a new playmate on their first day~" he called back to Jaz, as the latter student made her way away from the currently forming situation. While it partially made him sad, he understood that she probably had her own preparations to do. That, and he knew that it was probably about to get hectic out in the fields. She wasn't wrong in assuming Jack would be a little prideful here. He had competition for once: he couldn't back down now!
The new girl, who had been staring at Jack the entire time at this point, would also finally introduce herself as Asami. Jack would nod briefly in her direction, not taking his eyes off the dog girl. "Pleasure to meet ya, Asami. Jack, local U.A. dragon shifter. Before ya ask, no, this ain't my actual form. Just having a bit of - FUN!" he started, before Asami made the mistake of trying to take the ball from between the two animal Quirkers.
Jack immediately dove for the metal ball, his reactions as swift as a cheetah's as the ball would quickly be taken by the sudden white blur. In just a matter of a second, Jack was a good ten feet away from both new students, the metal ball clenched rather carefully in the tiny lizard creature's mouth. He didn't want it to get covered in slobber, after all. His tail would sway once more from side to side, his snout shooting out puffs of steam as he would eye both of them. His eyes alone sent a clear message: CATCH ME IF YA CAN~!
