"Oh, no it's nothing." She shook her head because Nimue swallowed the silly questions. Maybe one day she would ask but she wasn't convinced if it was okay or silly or stupid. She just enjoyed the ride, she would even to distract him put up music as he requested her to do so before. It should not look like something was wrong that was what mattered. "I was just thinking." she said before the music started and she leaned back in her chair and turned her head to look out of the window on the side. But indeed she was hiding nothing, just worry and happiness, a combination of both. She stepped out of the vehicle when Giovanni had parked but did not immediately move away from the door and she leaned on it and looked at his house. She wondered about a lot of things but also if she would one day consider this her home. She liked her snug small house but the problem was obviously it did not hold a future for them and potentially anything they talked about before. Kids, marriage, anything.

She let him take her hands and take her a bit away from the car and she looked up with a little surprised expression on her face when he started talking. Oops, she must have given off bad vibes again. She smiled, however, the more he continued with his little say and how he kissed her hand. He pulled her in a hug and she loved it, instead of snuggling extremely close, she wrapped her arms around his torso and held on to his shirt, she smelled his cologne and just as she felt before, she knew she was safe. A ring for protection, yes exactly. "I like that, don't worry." She was maybe overwhelmed but wasn't Giovanni either? They both had not expected this at the start of their day but she wouldn't say it was a bad thing. She nodded though when he broke the hug and explained about the questions, she just never got really comfortable with that, which was kind of strange, it was so against her culture and her nature but maybe that's the effect Japan had on her and not being able to talk about herself too much when before people knew she was a pro-hero. She nodded again, "Okay." She would ask him anything and she would, "We can do that another time, I just want to enjoy tonight without too many questions." She stuck out her tongue to show she was making a joke but she would let him kiss her shortly after and would when the kiss stopped, tug him along to get inside.

It wasn't that anything was wrong but it was also not so that there was nothing on her mind. She was just overthinking and did not want to worry Giovanni with that. So she managed to actually pull it off that he would hopefully stop worrying about her. At least she hoped so by putting up the music and getting ready for a conversation but she had to decide what she wanted to know and just questions that might not hurt or get too far in their just year relationship. There was so much she wanted to learn about him but she did not know where to start. She would do it another time, she just wanted to enjoy today, as it was a splendid day, with a spontaneous ending and she wanted to keep it that way. So when he seemed to be worried about her, she let him talk and just hug him and hold no to him, she did not want him to be afraid of her even if her life was one big rollercoaster at this point. It would stay like that for a while and maybe in a few years she would decide to stop that if she really wanted to settle with him. Surely that's what she thought now but you never knew what life would bring you. Though she really believed she was blessed as she had met him.

She would let him take her to the front porch of his house and just smiled as he would take her along and she nodded but he stopped and turned to her. She looked a little surprised as he spoke about the next step, she swore they just took one but she blushed a little with a shy but obvious happy smile when he spoke further on and seemed to give her something she could get used to. He seemed nervous as he suggested it, so she leaned with her head against his shoulder, "I like that a lot." It meant she could keep her sweet little house and yet be more with him and still have some time to herself. It was specifically that, the time for herself, that she did not want to sacrifice yet, she just got it back and it wasn't Giovanni, it was just her own mind that she had seven years done everything for Oz and she wanted to do something for herself.

The ring did not feel heavy but it did feel strange as she was used to wearing necklaces and bracelets but not rings. She kept bumping into it, felt like something was stuck between her fingers and so on, it wasn't even that thick of a ring band but she felt it. She just looked at it again and again but it was pretty and she loved it and most of all she loved how they discussed their future plans. That he would stay with her from time to time, the first days of the week. Yes, she liked that and she hoped it would give more time for Kuro to adjust to Giovanni, it would be so nice. Hm, maybe she should ask Kuro if having another cat around was okay... especially if they would move in together, she could try and take Kuro with her on a weekend here? Hm.

She would help Giovanni cook dinner that evening and snuggle close when he watched the news while she did a puzzle or a word game in the little booklet that she found with the newspaper. It was just an easy night, and the best of it was that she did not want anything special, she loved evenings and nights like this. Where at the end of the day she could snuggle close to Giovanni and just have no issues or not feel shy anymore, and put her head softly on his shoulder and her leg over his and just close her eyes and enjoy it. Surely this wasn't how she kept sleeping, in the end, she would have turned around or turned back but she would sleep much more peaceful than at home. No nightmares anymore about her father's death, about Shinagawa or her kidnapping, not anymore. She felt safe here by his side.
