The goons didn’t take long, the tussle was a little wild but before long each of them had been knocked out by hard strikes or through suffocating against the leathery seats they’d been laying in a moment ago. Mia wasn’t even short on breath from the effort. Any of them that even had a quirk didn’t seem to be anything notable, and with that Mia had done her part of the job. The main guy still needed some work but they were more here for… for…
Shit…
Mia adjusted her earpiece, not wanting to bother Bianca doing her own end of this plan and communicating between herself and the van specifically. “Ya know that back room we were told about. I ain’t seeing it. False intel maybe…?”
“No no… we got the building plans and someone did a scout the other day. Couldn’t find the room but there’s definitely the space for it… odds are it’s just well hidden.”
Mia let out a frustrated sigh, dragging a hand down her face. “And I don’t got clearance to break down walls till I find it do I?”
“Fraid not. Any of those punks willing to make a deal?”
Mia glanced over her shoulder at the unconscious goons, some of which laying face down in their spilled drinks. “Er… yeah they ain’t in a talkative mood right now…”

Back with the femme fatale herself the chief of the operation was leaning a little closer along the bar, his cheek resting in his hands as the bombshell of a woman kept his attention. He was a little tired of the Japanese brand of woman, all dolled up, trying to make too much of an effort… here was a woman who, despite all the effort she clearly made, looked like she wouldn’t even need to try to look like a stunner. Japanese girls tended to treat themselves like Barbie dolls half the time, toys to be played with… this girl seemed more akin to a celebrity. Very ‘look, don’t touch’. And as he was teased about it, he thought about how much he’d very much like to break that rule.
“Oh don’t you worry you got the right impression there babe… but that’s the thing about being the bad boy. You play the role with some brains? You gotta know what little laws to be careful about.. so you don’t get caught breakin’ the big ones.~” A little bold to admit perhaps but he got the feeling leaning into those aspects of himself were only gonna play in his favour tonight. Without much hesitation he reached across the bar when she placed her drink down, sliding his fingers around her palm and brushing his thumb against the back of her hand, meeting her gaze. “Tell you what… why don’t you and I enjoy these drinks somewhere a little more private?~” The direction he dipped his head was opposite of the group he’d came from, hoping to imply he had somewhere else they could go.
Mia, kept up to date by the man in the van and the camera Bianca had on their person, managed to stay with the scene… it was a little risky but that sounded like what they needed. “Hey kid…? Know you’re in the middle of something but don’t take a risk you don’t feel confident in. Gimme a signal if you need me to step in…” She was sure the kid was gonna come back with some snarky quip at her slipped into a line to the guy, but a glance across the dance floor probably made it easy to see a concerned set of red eyes peeking over the crowd. Kid may have had spunk but that didn’t mean Mia couldn’t be concerned.
