“Bingo. Now you’re getting the gust of it.” Feng replies with a finger gun. “My family has stupid luck when it comes to this stuff and knowing them, they have been watching from afar for a while while none of us ever noticed”. The idea of it was crazy but with how everything has been going on, but with enough info on her family...the idea is as likely as everything she has thought about before. Her parents being on board should've set off some alarms in her mind but she was too green at the time to notice. However all of this was sheer speculation and she can't exactly unload all this info at 2am. However she can ask small questions at least.
“Yep. Eye thing is genetic for some reason. Something to do with the blood and increasing one's kinetic vision or something….Though the glowing part is a result of training if I recall. My little brother and sister cant do it yet and my twin brother has orange eyes instead.”, she explained as she started to recall which colors her family members had. Bright yellow, Orange, Violet, Green, and blue were ones that she can say off the top of her head. “Grandparents had kids when he was about...late teens to early twenties if I recall his various stories….and for the record, they kick ass now for their age and they can whoop ass like one would not believe.”, she responded in succession as she stretched her arms into the air. “Don't worry about it. It's water under the bridge and dwelling on it aint good for the heart or soul.”, she assured him as she puffed out her chest in confidence. The pain long subsided during the break and a lot of thinking made her a whole lot more wiser than she was before. She’d dropped the confident act as it was way too early to be her usual attitude.
She sat up straight in her chair as she looked at him dead in the eyes.” Look, just treat em like me when they come after ya and do what ya do best...and kick the shit out of them. My cousins are a bit headstrong so a good hit will wake me up...i hope.”, she gave a thumbs up. The very idea of him kicking the shit out of her cousins was rather mean but from what she recalls how they act and sound like at family gatherings...its probably better for them to get the bluntest reality check possible for meeting someone like Red.
The remark about having kids young in her family inspired all but a small sigh and defeated nod. Her mum had her young and so did her auntie. Not sure WHY they commit to it so early but then again this family is far from many can say normal in any sense of the word “Look, we can trade places if it comes to that. Kicking the shit out of them works either way as long as they can get the hint.”, she answers in the sternest way possible. Being upfront about it is probably for the best for her since shit like this can be misinterpreted in so many ways possible.
As Red said, she began to yawn a bit as she was getting ready to go back to her room. “Yep we should get some slee- what?”, she asked as she saw him wiggle his way out and to his sanctuary known as the garage. “You know what, its 2 am in the morning and I'm not gonna pry on that detail. Just gonna say one more thing to him one thing before I pass out. I need get this off my chest.”, she opens the door to the garage and looks at him sincerely and softly.
“Welcome home and glad to have ya back. I mean it”, she says before she closes the door and turns off the TV. Slowly shuffling her way back to her room and flopping on her bed as she soon fell asleep without a care in the world.
