With his restaurant almost being around for a year and up and running, he seemed to have wanted to make some changes. Taste-testing he called it, figuring out new recipes and just let them be made and for him to try. She had no idea why he would want someone like her around, didn't she basically like everything? But she would not let it stop her from going on a date, so to say. They already had issues seeing each other on a daily basis, so this would mean she would have an opportunity to come over at his restaurant and to see him, touch his hand and just kiss his lips. Why would anyone say no to that?
She was wondering what to wear, holding two dresses in front of her while looking in the mirror. She definitely needed new clothing if she wanted to impress Giovanni with something new from time to time. But her money was now going into finding new research matters and helping Elise with the set-up for the potential new hospital in Musutafu. And although Giovanni was an investor for that, it was definitely not making her more rich that she could afford pretty new expensive clothes every other day. She finally decided to wear the yellow summer dress as it was the perfect weather for that and not to do too much with her hair undone and just brushed and her make-up only hiding the marks on her face. Whether that be the red ones or the scar between her eyes, this was simply how she would go. She was afraid sometimes that he did not like how she looked but this was how she was.
She would have to wait for him to pick her up, again not allowing her to either walk or get a bus, so yea well it was romantic but she wondered if it was not annoying for him. She should definitely get a car or something because this was just something. She brushed her hair, made sure Kuro had clean water and food before she would go and continue with the rest of her day, waiting for Giovanni to come. She was excited, mostly about him sharing this with her and just all of that. Who would have known, she touched her necklace and smiled to herself when she passed the mirror, well, life seemed to like her a little more again.

Giovanni didnt care about the restaurant work much and there was only so much he could try by himself. He needed a 2nd opinion. Two mouths were better then one. And whats a better excuse to have Nimue with him than this? He was glad he got to talk her into doing this with him. As today he was tasting Elena's meals and he wanted to see if he can add something new to the menu. And one secret surprise he didnt tell Elena was that if she can produce an article of food that would be to his or Nimue or both of their likings, not only will it be added to the menu, but she gets a 5% raise. Giovanni would've given her 20% increase. But she wants to be a dirty ass Hero. And while he does love Nimue. He holds no love for the other rag tags that Nimue has to deal with. Particularly the quirk tax creating goverment. Damn them for the Quirk Tax!
Now he was dressing up. Red shirt, black pant sand jacket, expensive shoes, green tie. He placed his black leader gloves in his pocket if he needed them. And he concealed his self defence item there. He needed to be protected at all costs. Oh and lastly a box of cigarettes, just in case his Quirk was needed for self defence! Oh! And a lighter! Silly!
Once he was done with that, he grabbed the car keys and went out. Getting into his car, he drove over to Nimue so he can take her to the restaurant. He hated knowing Nimue was going on foot to waste her energy or by bus as if she was a peasant. She needed to travel in class. So he didnt mind driving her to give her the good image of a noble woman.
Giovanni soon arrived and smiled when he saw Nimue. He got out of the car to greet her and kiss her as well as to ask how was she and her wellbeing. Once she answered that, he ushered her to the car and opened the door so she can get in

She heard her door open, as Giovanni had his own key and would hurry to the little hallway to greet him. You couldn't even properly call it a hallway but it was just something there and she would smile at him and be a little stunned. He looked like- well ehm... she was lost for words. "I-I thought we were going to your place and wow I should get another dress." So she could match with him a little more than her yellow dress. Shoot did she even have a dress that would fit his outfit? Hmm, he was so handsome. Distracted already she just turned around to think what to do but they should go to his restaurant, man it felt like a dinner date instead of a taste testing for new items on his menu.
Eventually, she would either change or not change depending on what Giovanni said and she would get down to his car and let him open the door for her and drive her to the restaurant. "You sure it's no hassle? I mean, we always or no you always have to pick me up? I really should buy a car or something soon." What more could she say it felt a little stupid but hm, she at this point only had eyes for him. She was curious why he had invited her, "So what's taste-testing actually like?" She was pretty curious to know because she had only heard about it, that owners made something new and created something new and just had to taste it and she wondered how many people she would know in there and if she would be recognized, she did not want to think too much but it was a funny thing he asked her. "Is this a date?" She said with a little tease to him.

She wasnt ready, so he went inside to find her. He found her and smiled. "You look wonderful" he complimented her. He was surprised to see her stunned. He wondered why and thats when he noticed his outfit. It was more aligned with his mafia job. He experimented and risked it. He wanted to see how she'd react. And well, he liked the results that one of his outfits passed the Nimue test. Nimue spoke how she thought they were just going to his place and asked if she should get another dress "No no no no!" he said as he reached out and held her hand or wrist as he caught her so she wouldnt scurry away to change clothes "You're perfect as you are"
He tugged her hand and nudged her and gently pulled her with him so they can go to the car together. He made sure she got in like a lady and then he sat at his drivers seat. Once inside Nimue asked if he was SURE this was no hassle. He looked at her and when she was done he answered "If you want, I can buy you a car. You just pick whatever suits your fancy. Its just... you know busses are beneath you. I dont want you to be with the filthy commonfolk that would" shudders "Perv on you"
He turned the key and activated his car. As he was exiting the park place, Nimue asked whats taste testing like. Giovanni casually answered "Oh you know... trying various foods. Usually a bite or two. But if you like we can eat something. But the goal is trying as many things as possible." he said as he was now driving
She then asked if this was a date. She teased, but he knew. Giovanni chuckled "A date~" it wasnt a witty answer as he couldnt come up with one. |

She turned to look over her shoulder and walk to the door when she heard someone enter. She brushed a piece of her green hair behind her ear and was stunned by his look. But also bashful thanks to his compliment. But damn he looked handsome in the suit and tie like that and she knew he did that more often but it was just a little different from normal and she was not sure what to say or do and just turned around to suggest to wear another dress that fitted more with him as her yellow dress obviously wasn't going well, it was also not bad but it was not what you were looking for but he would take her hand and stop her and she was looking up at him and blushed a little, still visible through the make-up. "O-oh well in that case." She would give him a kiss as a welcome before walking with him and close the door behind her to get to his car.
She would explain and asking if this was okay to do all the time and that she should buy a car and she looked surprised at him when he suggested he could. "I-I mean ehm. I don't know, I don't want that to be a hassle." Surely she knew he was rich, he had a huge house, multiple cars and all and yet she would not feel like it. She blushed a little, looking stubborn when he spoke about the common folk, she was the common folk but she couldn't help but giggle a little when he mentioned the last part specifically. "I will think about it, but I have a question. You seem to rather dislike the common folk as you call them but what am I? You have seen my very small apartment, you know I walk or go by bus, I am just curious?" She was not offended at all like she said she was curious, she wanted to know what category she was in or was she promoted to the rich because he was her boyfriend?
She would bring the conversation to what they were going to do tonight and she nodded, "Hm, if it's tasty I might like more." She smiled at him as she liked this and she teased to ask if this was a date and he seemed to confirm it. "I am always glad for a date with you."

Giovanni reassured that Nimue did not need to change clothes. Nimue then as a result kissed him and he smiled in their kiss. After which the two would go out together and in their car.
And thus once inside, Nimue asked if this was okay and such. Was she bothering at all? Giovanni told her it was ok. And if she wished for it, he would buy a car for her. She could choose what she wants. Nimue thoug was hesistant and said that she doesnt want it to be a hassle. Giovanni replied "It is seriously no biggie. And besides, even if you dont buy a vehicle. It is always a pleasure to drive you around" he looked at her for a moment and smiled "It means I get to spend more time with you" after which he talked how he hated the idea of commoners and her being with that filth. But he also knew how loving she was. So he ended on a note that she would like, but also a note that was true. He didnt want filthy perverts to look at her. He liked her giggle.
But now she had a question. She asked what is she if she was not commonfolk. He smiled and said "You are mine.~" thats what you are Nimue. You are his. Special. Different. Unique. And his.
After that she asked about their activities. Giovanni answered what they would do. Nimue said if it was tasty, she might like more. Giovanni nodded. She then teased and asked if this was a date. Giovanni who could not come up with a quip or a joke or tease, said that it was a date. But because he didnt know what to say. He just awkwardly stopped like in mid sentence.
Eventually the couple arrived to the restaurant and he as per usual, treating her like a lady, opened the door and helped her get out. He also kissed her hand, because he couldnt resist

She was happy he liked her this way. But gosh darn he looked so handsome and she didn't match with him, how was she ever going to be the girlfriend of a rich person and not have a dress fitting every one of his suits. Oh boy. Because that's obviously what was going to happen, he had seen her in this dress before and almost all of the other clothing she had, did he find that... bad? He wasn't sure how to ask or what to think but at this point, it was soon forgotten with their kiss and just the status of them leaving.
In the car, she talked about it being a hassle or not and that she wasn't sure what to do about it and well that she would try and get a car on her own one day. But he offered to buy her one, that felt like a hassle again and she was afraid; what if they would break up? Surely she did not dare to say that out loud because then it felt like she had been thinking about it and she did not but that was her baggage. That was what made her scared. "You are so nice to me, I love that about you." She would maybe later consider it, maybe he can help her buy one with a little money and she could pay him back? Well, it was something to consider but as he explained it to her, she had to laugh and she just wanted to know what would that make her? Because he said he wanted to spend time with her but she was the common folk. She blushed intensely when he simply stated that she was his. She nodded slowly, not minding it, it wasn't like how Oz treated her so who cared about words. Yea, she was his girlfriend after all.
So now that their date was starting as he got her out of the car and she smiled as he kissed her hand. "Have I told you today that I love how you are a gentleman?" Because that's her thing, that's what she told him, so she would do it all the time. He would escort her inside and they would share a table. "Do we have a little menu of what you serve today or will it be a surprise?" She was thrilled, which was easily seen on her face, but she wasn't going to be too giddy now they were in public but god she loved him.

He smiled when she said how he was nice to her and how she loves him. "I love you too, beautiful" he would be more lovey dovey, but he had to focus on the road and their destination and all in all driving. The two talked more though and Giovanni complained about the commonfolk. Nimue then asked then what does that make her. To which Giovanni proudly said that she was his. He was so glad he got to say it. Sadly, due to driving, he couldnt see her blush. But he would've enjoyed the hell out of it if he knew
After that Nimue asked about their activities at the restaurant, which Giovanni explained. Once Nimue asked was this a date. Giovanni clumsily answered that it was due to lack of quip. After that they arrived at their destination and they did the routine which was him opening the car door for her. Maybe one day he will stop that. When he would get too old to move and when he would complain about hip pain. But today was not that day. Nor would it come any time soon.
Once Nimue got out, he kissed her hand and smiled. Nimue complimented how he was a gentleman. Giovanni teased her "Maybe you've told me~"
Giovanni then escorted her inside and he would get them a private table to share. He then moved the chair for her, so she can sit down. Then he sat at his chair. It was another extra tidbit he wanted to do to stay above other men. Superiority in kindness. Not something other men did.
Nimue asked if there is a menu or will it be a surprise. He said "A surrpise, due to this food being off menu. We will be served and told what we get"
Even he didnt know what Antonio and Elena had instore for them. And right on cue, Antonio would soon arrive to serve them, but not before lighting up some romance candles

She blushed a little, you would expect that after eight or nine months of dating she would get used to the compliments he told her. But she wasn't and she felt flattered, happy and bashful and that was visible on her face. So that's how they arrived, her feeling bashful but happy and blushing like a tomato (or strawberry what you prefer) and she would let him get her from the car and walk by his side. Her hip bumping into his, her elbow against his side, she wanted to be close as that felt good. Sometimes she wondered if she should ask if she was too clingy but then again she wondered if he would answer honestly? Would he mind it or not? Would it annoy him or not? But not today. He didn't let her change because she looked nice, he called her beautiful, today was not the day to discuss such a thing, it wasn't necessary.
She was glad that they shared jokes, did dare to tease and had the same sort of humour. As he kissed her hand she called him a gentleman, her word for him and she loved how he smiled at her and teased her back. Yes, this was so much better than Oz and she felt like she could be herself now that they shared all the information about her being a pro-hero, she felt at home and safe when he was around her. She would stay by his side, walking to the private table and watch him even be more of a gentleman by holding the chair for her and help her when she sat down, so much for elegance and beauty as that would definitely look better than her trying to scoot a chair foward with difficulty.
"I know but maybe they prepared a little menu for you in the kitchen. I don't know how it works, it truly sounds fascinating for sure." She would look up when Antonio arrived, telling him hi as well and watch him bring candles and fix the lighting, so Antonio and his other chef were in the complot of making this a romantic date? Interesting, she giggled and would just turn her attention back to Giovanni. She was so giddy, this was amazing.

And right on cue, Antonio showed up with some food and he lit the candles. The couple would try a variety of dishes. Most of them being pure sicilian, most likely to please their Boss. Their tried different pasta recipes that were sicilian like spaghetti prepared with sea urchin. And Pasta con le sarde which is pasta with sardines. There were also some main dish trials that were based on seafood like couscous al pesce and pesce spada alla ghiotta (Swordfish). They also tried other meals. But eventually they had to take a break before getting any dessert food.
Giovanni looked at Nimue. "How are you?" he asked as he mostly tried a bit of each dish. He just sampled it. But Nimue seemed to like it and ate. Giovanni wondered if he should add any of these honestly since it was mostly seafood. And to him, seafood was fucky business. He held her hand a bit and squeezed it. He asked if she was okay with all these meals. She was keen on eating. And he didnt want her to feel sick. She was the doctor, not him. Maybe she was fine, but he was just overly worried perhaps over nothing. Giovanni wondered what was dessert. Maybe that would be better.

She would try every little dish they served, trying to do it like Giovanni said. She would take 2 or 3 bites, to make sure she got the flavour right and there was a lot of seafood which she did not mind, her tribe ate that as well, she wasn't too picky and she would try and be curious, she never had sea urchin, what an idea! Hm, she wondered how interested Japan was to this idea because it was a fish eating country as well, "Isn't sea urchin difficult to make?" Poison and all but she wasn't sure at all. But it was tasty, she found the sardines a little too salty, so she told Giovanni that it might help with a little more cream to counter the salt? She felt so stuffed though as sometimes she would like a third or fourth bite and she just leaned back on her chair.
"Oh, I am amazing, I love doing this. It gives me so many new foods to try and the fish it's amazing." She blushed a litle as he looked so professional and she was maybe the stupid person eating too big bites as well as too many bites. She smiled at his attitude and squeezed softly back and she loved him. "I am little stuffed but I will manage right?" She took a sip of her water with her free hand. "So how often do you do this?" She teased, it was for the menu but maybe also creative freedom of his kitchen staff? Who knew.

-meanwhile- Antonio heard pings from his phone and looked. He saw it was an Ishtar list. He moved away from people to have some privacy and see it. The eyecatcher was that Nimue was on the list. It was to be expected, sooner or later she would be there. But he would have to show Boss. Antonio rushed to Giovanni's office and started up his laptop and found the link online and then he closed the laptop while it was turned on. He then rushed back to Elena and thanked her for the cooking and baking. He then took her dessert and carried it over to the love birds "Hello hello. Greeeetings my honoured lovely guests~ For the dessert, I present to you La Cassata!" he said and served them the cake "But erm... I believe before you two eat.... well... you might enjoy a bite out of it. But there is something you two should see" he said and then told them to wait Antonio went to Giovanni's office and grabbed the laptop. He hurried back. He could see Giovanni was mildly worried when he saw his laptop. Antonio placed it on their table and opened it so they could see. Together the two could see Ishtars new hit list. Antonio had his own opinions on the list. The 3rd years were fun. He would have fun chasing them down. And even Nimue was tempting. But he wont do it. The Boss likes her. But should the need arise. He will consider it. Because it might be for the greater good. He wathed their reactions. Giovanni was speechless as expected. But Nimue was what he was more interested in. He wanted to stay just to see her react before leaving. He knew Giovanni would ask him to leave soon

Nimue would just enjoy it and sit close to Giovanni, giggle like a little school girl as he gave the attention to her and kissed him. Hmm, this was so stupidly romantic and yet easy when there was no one else. This was their private table and everything, what was she going to do about, oh he was so amazing, she liked him so much. She looked up surprised when Antonio seemed to talk to them more then just bringing the dish and she was intrigued to see what it was about. She looked at the cake that he brought, it was very interesting to see, pretty in looks and just nice. She smiled at Antonio to thank him but he had something else. Something the two of them should see? What? She would look at Giovanni with worry and did not feel like making an attempt to eat the pretty cake because what was this about?
She turned to look at Giovanni with big eyes, she had heard before that Ishtar made a hit list but she had not been on that, now she was but also the fact that Antonio presented them the list. Did he know? She wasn't sure what she should say and she bit her lip, she did not want to say anything at first. She sucked in her cheeks, not sure if she should say something or give a reaction. She wanted to be lying about what she was doing and what she should say at all. "I-I am sure it's fine, right?" She felt horrible that she had to do that, there were still scars on her legs from the kidnapping by the plutocracy. She leaned back in her chair away from both guys, she wanted to go home. Everything would be a disaster, her father would be here and who was next, Giovanni? She turned very pale even if her skin wouldn't change much because she was already so pale and yet it was obvious.

Everything was so wonderful and romantic, that is until Antonio came to spoil the fun. He was worried by the fact that the spainiard brought Giovanni his laptop. His work laptop. Once he opened it and saw the screen his eyes widened and his jaw dropped a lil. He was speechless. He turned to Nimue scared and worried. Giovanni went to look at Antonio, but the spainiard already left.
Giovanni focused on Nimue now that they were alone, he held her hand and squeezed it
"Amore. Calma. Dont worry. We'll think of something together" he said, trying to sound reassuring. He knew he was safe due to Ishtar knowing he was a villain. She wont go after him since he's in the Fraternity
But then, he remembered the Fraternity. What if that can protect her? What would happen if he gave her that ring with the symbol? Would that protect her. Maybe if he can make her lie that she's in it. Still it was just an idea. But he hoped that she would talk to him so they can prepare together and plan on what to do. Giovanni looked at the list again. RedHorn reward was claimed. So what if they go to Redhorn and interview her on what the hell happened with her and Ishtar.
Giovanni rubbed her back and did whatever he could to calm Nimue. He hated seeing her like this. This was one of the moments where he needed to step up and protect her. But he was scared that she wouldnt trust him with that again. Maybe if he sent Antonio to protect her. So what does he do? He hoped Nimue would this time let him in and not just go to the Pro Heroes for help without him. They were in this together ... sort of. He bit his lip as he weighed his options

It had gone so well and look at them now, she noticed his eyes, his jaw-dropping. Everything was... well it was ruined and she wanted to push the chair backwards and just go. With no idea where to go but that was what they wanted right? That's how they would get her? She just wanted to change into a little orb that no one would notice and no one would care about. She did not want to become the number one hero. She did not ask for this, did she? She felt him take her hand and squeeze. "But what? And why is Antonio showing us that list?" That meant he knew, oh god he knew, that meant more people would know too and didn't Giovanni swear to her that he would tell no one else. Shit. Oh hells bells what would happen? No okay, it was fine, they were like brothers without the actual blood, should be fine and all. She would not say much but just look at him. She shook her head, like trying to forget what she said before.
"How?" What would they do and what should she even consider doing? She lived by herself not too far from Yuuei that would normally feel like enough precaution. She was a strong hero, she survived that kidnapping week. But that was it right, in the small distance from her apartment to Yuuei she had been taken. Eish what would she do? She did not know what to say, where to start, how to think? It was like how her brain would stop working and she was crashing very hard, falling without knowing how and without knowing how to get back up. "How? I have no ideas what to think or to expect." She mumbled for the second time in just a few minutes.
