Well at leas the damn thing didn't explode on their heads, but she didn't like the odds of these mindless zombies that had been left behind who were likely gonna be slowly doused in flammable liquids. A roar of an explosive force sounded from Behind Mia to catch her attention... and it wasn't easy to put two and two together. Jaz looked absolutely fucked but Thorne wasn't anywhere to be seen... yeah... that was her partner right there for ya! Ripping through him like he was nothing... ugh she'd be prouder but she felt like she was about to collapse. Jaz'd be fine though right? Kid just had to... get up... get moving.
Her vision blurred for a moment and more time passed than she realized. Next thing she knew the godzilla woman was calling out to her with Jasmine in her arms, asking if she needed any help. The paralyzing toxin had fully infected her arms with all that force she'd been exerting. She didn't even dare think about trying to move them from how painful they were just hanging there, dangling loosely by her sides as she forced herself up to her feet. He legs still burned furiously but- "I... I got this! Don't worry just-!" Her red eyes caught the other vigilante being dragged off towards one of the remaining big guys, gritting her teeth in frustration. Without thinking about it she decided to put the last of her limbs to good use.
Initially, she dipped back into the rubble of the stand she'd destroyed while fighting Panzur, locking her tusks into a metal pipe that had held it up and rearing back up to her full height, the pipe long enough to extend a good foot out to the left side of her face from how she was biting it. She glanced around the rubble, catching a loose bit of concrete from the crashing force she'd exerted before. Like a footballer, she kicked it up into the air infront of her. Reared her head back, and slammed the rod back into the concrete chunk like a bat and a ball. The Concrete hurtling through the air with Mia's might behind it, slamming into Headhunter's... head, trying to get him to collapse back into the pool of flammable liquid behind him. Enda seemed to be doing well freeing himself of that invisible arm afterall, so Mia left that to the toothy guy.
"Okay... still... good..." The rod dropped from her mouth, caked in drool from how her body was over-producing in her exhausted state. She was slow but with none of the zombies seeming to stop her, she dragged herself off towards Teruko, glancing at Jasmine to see if she was okay... she knew the kid could handle herself but if her arms got some permanent damage from taking her out into the field today? Well... suffice to say she wouldn't be forgiving herself for that so easily. She doubted she was about to have ended her career or anything but... she was cautiously worried.

You did it...? Her mind swam. Feeling her consciousness fade, Jasmine felt herself surrounded by the dark abyss she was slowly succumbing to. It was cold. She could hardly breathe.
...and now it's their turn...?
“God, look what you did to yourself…”
Everything was coming apart at the seams, and at the same time felt like it was surrounding and trying to ensnare her. She felt trapped, closed within the confines of a small, see-through glass box that she couldn't break out of. The side of her fist thwacked against its cold surface, barely even denting it. Once. Twice. Three times. Four. The wolf's lungs burned as she yelled out a deaf howl and clawed at the box. "GO HELP THEM! I'M FINE!" You didn't do jack shit. “Blon-dieee~”
And like hell is it time for you to rest.
Voices begun to merge together, so loud her ears started to hurt. Jasmine kept hammering away at the glass, desperate to get herself out. The more she did, the more her fists started to hurt. She felt blood pool in her throat, the taste of metal stronger than it ever was. Every fiber in her being started to suffer jolts of immense pain the harder she fought. “Kid, I don’t know if you can hear me..." I can! “But I’m gonna get you outta here, okay? We’re gonna get you some help. You’ve done spectacularly...”
No, you haven't. The wolf grit her teeth. Why was everything hurting so much? She kept pounding the glass anyway, even as she felt her bones shatter and break. More... more... she was almost there! One... more... WAKE UP!
Jasmine's eyes suddenly shot open as her mind willed itself back to reality. A pained inhale of air quickly followed as the younger lass gasped for breath, her vision cloudy. It was then that she felt it. Every single nerve ending in her arms felt like they were on fire. With the adrenaline having left her system, she felt the disastrous onslaught of sheer, unadulterated pain flood her body. She could barely suppress a scream through grit teeth. A singular, watery and now-green eye glanced downwards, barely able to make out the sight of her arms which were completely mutilated from the shoulders down. To make matters worse blood was slowly flooding her lungs, making it that much harder to breathe and making the threat of drowning in her own blood very damn real after Torn's last attacks had made contact. So now it was either: a) drown in your own blood; or b) die from blood loss. Awesome. The wolf could barely make out in whose arms she was, but she could tell it was the woman she'd heard while having been unconscious. That was not the voice of a goddamn zombie. "My... rib... lung..." she wheezed out harshly, "can't... breathe..." Hopefully that was enough of a status report. She knew where the tank with the liquid was. She saw where Enda had been pulled towards and how. It didn't take long for her to put two and two together to realize it was the same fuck that got Chase.
If whatever Chase does doesn't work, she wanted to say but couldn't, "Help... aim... my arm..." she coughed out blood painfully. "M-my shirt... brace... f-finger... gun..." She prayed that that made enough sense. Jasmine still had the most minuscule amount of gas left in her tank. Just enough for one more blast. Weak, but hopefully enough. The only problem was she couldn't lift or even feel her arms beyond the nearly insufferable amount of pain she was feeling. She dreaded how it would feel and what it would do to her, and while she secretly prayed Chase blew this sucked to kingdom come, she wasn't going to risk letting them lose!
Do or die. Always was.
Always will be.

Katsumi looked up, startled at suddenly being addressed by one of the other fighters in this scrap with her. The speaker was, thankfully, an allied big creature thing that she didn’t know the name of. “Ah...okay.” She nodded, acknowledging the speaker’s words. “That’s...doable.” She dashed over to where the tank was and gave it a look over. She couldn’t trust being able to move the entire thing with compromising the already cracked container even further nor did she consider the risk of attempting to move the entire thing was worth it. “That means I have to do this the other way.” She waited for Teruko to get Caldera out of the way before bringing her new rod up, aiming carefully at the container before making a Quirk assisted thrust at the tank, punching a small hole slightly below the center of the tank. Before the fuel could start leaking into the ground she used Vector Redial, blasting into the fuel in the tank and directing it all to come flying at the downed Gigas like a pressurized hose, aiming to douse the biggest threat with the flammable substance.
She kept it up until the tank ran out of fuel, emptying it all in order to burn Gigas down. When the last drop came flying out she whirled around and pulled her arms back. It was time for her to make sure that this abomination stayed down for good. She pulled her arms back and began to gather all her strength into her next maneuver. ‘Locate target.’ She set her eyes on Gigas. ‘Make sure that line of firing is clear of allies.’ She quickly scanned the area and let herself a small smile at no one being in the way of her move, from an outside observer it looked like the corners of her lips twitched up slightly. ‘Anchor self to prevent unwanted movement.’ She began blasting herself with her own Quirk, constantly overriding her own speed to zero.
‘Prefiring check complete, firing Vortex Breaker.’ She thrust her hands forward. In front of her two areas next to each other with a small distance started to ripple as the air started to get pulled into her attack. The air swirled and formed into two rapidly spinning tunnels of air..The air in the left tunnel moved in a clockwise motion while the air in the right tunnel moved in counterclockwise motion. The result was two swirling, whirling powerful whirlwinds, creating a destructive vacuum in between them with Gigas her intended temporary visitor.

STORYTELLER It was finally reaching to the final chapter of this horrifying moment for these couragous heroes and vigilantes. The finish line came in sight, they managed to turn this around, what one could imagine to be a hopeless dreadful inevitable doom, has become a sudden flashing star. With Panzur far away from the studio in god knows what street, it was a matter of cleaning up the putrid mess. Torn was out of sight, Headhunter were busy with Enda and displaying her thirst for blood with the way she draws her throat knife out, and most importantly, the ever growing blue flaming zombie Kamirex that is Gigas, formerly known as Daichi, Teruko's predecessor.
Jasmine were in good hands, Teruko did not get interrupted by the large monstrosity, he was still trying to correct himself after the first blast from Chase. But Gigas finally used that brain of his once more and grew four extra limbs on his back, each of them pushing against the ground to force his bell back against the broken pavement. He lifts his head up and roars out one more time for good measure. He had no one to put his attention to other than the ongoing fighting happening to his left. He turns his large crocodilian face towards the scene of Enda being dragged by Headhunter.
Speaking of Headhunter, she accelerated the pull in and held her menacing rusted throat knife ready to strike down at the comical vigilante. But being the zombie she is, the object appearing above Enda did not register in her mind, her hidden red eyes glared at Enda with one hundred and ten percent focus to gut him open. But apparently she were to receive the short end of the stick, once again. Red Horn had just gotten up, using her amazing tenacity to bring herself to be useful one last time. It was no spectacular sight, if anything she had the appearance of someone way overdue for a good break, but she used her mouth alone to use an iron pipe as a makeshift baseball bat. The swing caused the medium sized concrete block to fling through the air with a smooth curve, spinning once getting momentum until hitting dead on the target.
Headhunter gets forced to bend her body to the side, but being still stuck in place by all of the debris initially sent by Chase she merely got distracted, unable to focus on delivering the strike with her sharp weapon the moment Enda got within her arm's lenght. The guillotine struck downwards and gave Headhunter's arm one clean cut, making the rotten arm fly in the air and ultimately releasing the Vigilante from the invisible force. The hook seemingly just 'disappeared', leaving behind an open wound through his leg. But despite all of that, despite the many attacks Headhunter has received, she was stubborn and acted deprived. She shrieks and forcibly crushes her hand through the guillotine along with her throat knife, desperation to slice across of Enda's grinning face. But she was short of a few inches, the tip of the blade swung infront of Enda's face, then another swing, and one more. She struggled, trying to push herself further through wall of teeth. Her attempts were futile, Enda got the clear green light to escape, and he needed to do that ASAP, cause Gigas was pulling another one of his antics.
While Headhunter and Enda collided, Gigas used the unoccupied limbs on his lowerhalf to grab his shoulders and sides, began to pull and making him stand up. A broken spine did not stop this monstrosity from getting on his two and loom over Enda. The leaking fuel accelerated with the help of Chase and her price aim. The pole cracks the opening more and causing the flow to shoot out with more force. The flamable liquid hit the left heel of Headhunter, and quickly got combusting around her figure. She shrieks and tries to claw her way over the wall of teeth with the body still pinned by the poles. She burned very fast this time around, and became a crisp in matter of seconds. Gigas with some distance away from the fuel tried to stomp Enda down into the ground! But to his surprise a sudden gale of force pushed his back. Chase pulling out her biggest move yet got his whole attention, Gigas turned around and resisted the blasting force from Vortex Breaker. Leaning forward to not fall backwards, the Kamirex opens his maw wide open and screeched out so loud that it got everyone nearby to get a bit hurt in their ears. The Kamirex kept shouting out as his way of combating the vortex. His skin slowly being peeled off, his many teeth turning more blunt, his balance slowly giving in, his limbs on his back proved to not be a good replacement for a spine. The pressure finally got to him and folded him back, crashing down against the ground with a massive loud crash that shuck the ground.
Fire began to grow around his body where the fuel was, the under side of his body slowly being covere dby the flames, but what he needed was one final blast of pure combustion. In the far distance, near the edge of the studio, in the process of leaving, Teruko aided Jasmine to deliver the good bye of the century. A small spark of a firebolt shot out from her hand with the aiding support of Teruko, it flew through the air rather slow, but it went high and began to drift downwards, straight past Gigas who got just knocked over. He looked at the spark fly right above his face, then he raises his face back up to stare at all of group leaving the studio, specially at Teruko. His eyes gave a sheen of life, roaring out with all of his might, with all of his life, a roar no one has ever heard before.
GRYUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The small dart of fire was nearly out of spark, but it reached the source of the fuel, the active stream of liquid. The moment of the two elements meeting, a flash expands behind Gigas' body, a huge explosion of nothing but raw power burned Gigas at such a fast rate that his body turned smaller and thinner. His roar kept being loud and omnious, but finally fades away until the flash of the explosion overtakes the entire sight of those who watched it from the safe distance. The explosion resulted such a vast destruction that the entire area of the film studio got scorched, and every single last Zombie existing within that area, got brought along with Gigas to their final resting place. The shockwave of the explosion shattered every window of every building within a dozen of streets. Helicopters had finally reached to that point, and filmed the explosion happening, shortly after, the reinforcement had reached their destination, to only end up seeing the results of a large struggle.

Shit...
[break][break]
....okay good, at least the others were safe, that's all that mattered, make them think everything was under control.
[break][break]
Get everyone to safety...
[break][break]
Not only did his quick thinking work...it felt like whatever the fuck was in his leg was gone...just...poof. How...? Something was definitely there, he couldn't see it but he was gonna let it cruise in his leg until he got a safe distance, that's if he lived long enough to be safe. Gritting his teeth as a grunt drenched in pain hissed out of him amidst a chuckle. The tooth fairy was quick to roll back, kicking off the ground with his good leg for extra distance and neglect the fact that he was bleeding pretty bad out of that gaping wound...which fucking hell, he'd had to deal with later. Thankfully, he had Red Horn on his corner as back up, that woman was badass and tough as hell!
[break][break]
No wonder he was a huge fanboy and totally thought she was rightfully high up there on the hero charts, damn!
[break][break]
Even though she probably knew damn well he wasn't a pro and breaking the law time and time again to do do what he felt was right, but instead of letting that psycho undead bitch or whatever deal with him, she let him live. There was no way he wasn't going to ignore that. He fucking owed her and Teruko had her hands full! But the looming doom of Gigas was right there fell into view, "Ah...fuckin' die already!" As if to have his request answered by the universal department of miracles, he caught the glimpse of something at the corner of his eye and he got the heeeeeck out of dodge! THAT'S RIGHT! Enda activated his quirk and did a quick burst of speed to fly out of the way and skid to a stop near the beefy blonde pro who was number one not too long ago for damn good reason. "Let's go, I'm getting you the fuck on out of here!" Fucking...bullshit...his body was trying to fight him right now to take a break, just a little more...just a bit more.
[break][break]
Rapidly manifesting a large hand made of teeth, he angled his hand and the construct mimicking it to block the debris and his hand was violently shaking. Every single nerve was pleading for mercy from the suffering, but the wasn't over yet! As soon as it was safe, he scooped up the one and only Red Horn with the construct and OFF THEY WENT TO GET THE FUCK ON OUTTA THERE! Blood rapidly cascaded down his leg and he quickly flew alongside the construct carrying and keeping Red Horn safe...thankfully getting them out of there before shit hit the fan aiming to rendezvous somewhere safe with Teruko and make sure they got these two heroes medical attention a.s.a.p. That was his goal, he knew it would take a while to bleed out and he'd worry about himself later, all his energy from this point on was purely dedicated to make sure people could live and have a damn future....
[break][break]
....but for some reason....
[break][break]
Something about that final roar...
[break][break]
It was goddamn heart breaking in a strange way...almost like a warrior's farewell...
[break][break]
....Teruko...that was her mentor...right...yeah....at this rate...that was the only way Gi--no...Daichi-san, that was the only way Daichi-san could say good by, wasn't it? This was the goodbye Teruko Serizawa never got....it was shitty things turned out this way, but there was some fucked up solace in it all...a bittersweet means to an end. There was...no way he could let Teruko be by herself tonight, once the injured were tended to, he'd stick around rather than disappearing....or you know, at least until she told him to leave. For all he knew, she'd want some alone time to take everything in, but that was up to her...it was her call later when all was said and done.

"Queen Kaiju"
Watchdog-Rank Quirk:
|
Post by Teruko Serizawa on Sept 20, 2020 15:27:21 GMT -4
titan slayer, kaiju! TERUKO HELD HER BREATH AS she waited for the pro hero to stand—the woman had the listless gaze of someone who wasn’t entirely there. As such, the reassurance that the professional hero Redhorn “got this” did little to quell the kaiju’s concern. With Daichi between her, Enda, and the skewered zombie, it was impossible to see what was happening from this angle. And, as Teruko began to retreat, she didn’t dare look back.
Teruko was well out of Gigas’s reach when the blond came-to, spasming back to life with a shuddering breath. A jolt ran through the kaiju as the girl bit back a scream, pain flitting across her face.
“Easy there, easy,” Teruko murmured, in an attempt to placate her. Ha, verbal reassurance working when the girl was in such a state, physically.
Oooo, god. As if the arms weren’t enough of an injury. But… there wasn’t a lot one could do about a punctured lung if they weren’t a doctor.
“Once we’re clear, I’ll call 1-1-9,” Teruko assured the kid, “And they can set your arms right and take care of your punctured lung.”
Hell, she could even try to brace the girl’s arm, time permitting—once they were clear of the building, though. Their first priority was hasty egress.
Blondie had other intentions, though—of the “expedite the bracing process” variety. Teruko’s eyes, which had reverted to their usual, murky gold, widened in surprise over the request.
It was so astounding to her that her Okinawan accent, just for a moment, reared its head in her retort.
“Ya’ve gotta be fuckin’ kiddin’ me. Yer arm is fucked and yer chokin’ on yer own blood, dude.”
Teruko turned, watching the pieces of her plan fall into place. Enda was free of the skewered-zombie’s invisible attack, and he and Redhorn were moving hastily in their direction as Pinkie lined-up her finishing blow.
But what if it isn’t enough?
Dispatching Daichi in a vortex of fire was unthinkable… but imagining the havoc he could wreak if they didn’t take him out was infinitely worse. A dignified man like him, reduced to a monster that he’d only really portrayed in fiction, forced by animal instinct to attack innocent people? It’d sully his name long after he could hope to defend it. They had to make sure he was totally dead.
The kaiju sighed, hunkering to the ground. She brought her tail around so that the girl was still half propped-up.
Rather than remove Jaz’s shirt to create a makeshift brace, Teruko freed her own. With spines along her back, and a form as massive as hers, a majority of her clothes were secured by snaps along the seams (and therefore easier to maneuver in and out of). Besides which, there was more fabric to work with, and Teruko had no bust to speak-of. It was all scales and spines.
“Clench your teeth, kid,” Teruko directed the girl, the scales of her shoulder glinting in the pale light as she rolled the shirt upon itself to be vaguely arm-length, “This is going to fucking suck—what’s your dominant hand?”
Teruko would allow the girl to back-out, if she so desired. But if not… she’d go for the girl’s non-dominant hand, firmly wrapping it with the folded shirt. Her expression tightened sympathetically. Once braced, Teruko would help the blonde to her feet, level the injured arm, and… wait for the girl to do her thing.
Everything fell into place. Enda and Redhorn were escaping, the zombie that’d attacked Enda was now a smoldering heap of ash, and Daichi was caught-up in the torrential vortex of flame and wind, being sheared to the bone.
What a terrible sight. And then, fuel to the fire—fire to the fire—Blondie. It was an inconsequential amount of fire, compared to her previous show, but—it was enough.
Admittedly, Teruko wasn’t watching Blondie, though. She was watching Daichi.
And Daichi was watching her.
He saw her.
There was intelligence in those innumerable eyes.
And then he breathed his final roar.
It was like when an electric guitar hit a particular series of chords that sounded almost like human speech, but not quite—but to Teruko, she understood it plain as day.
Teruko.
Teruko shuddered, crumpling inward, finally succumbing to the despair that’d been waiting in the wings all this time. The ensuing destruction rushed outward, unforgiving, unrelenting, and Teruko moved almost mechanically, drawing Blondie back-in, shielding Blondie with Teruko’s own body.
Again, Teruko would remain cowered until the force of the blast subsided, eyes pinched shut. She’d hold that position until the noise, and shuddering, subsided… and then she’d open her eyes again.
No matter how tightly she closed her eyes, she couldn’t wipe from her mind what she’d seen or heard.
Teruko.
Fat tears welled in her eyes, dribbling along her maw, and her shoulders trembled.
In the end, Daichi had recognized her.
Teruko uncoiled, surveying the scene. No sign of her mentor, or of any zombies for that matter. The force of the blast had decimated all the windows, and all of the undead…
Silence.
Then the low, pulsating thrum of a helicopter overhead, of numerous helicopters.
Teruko inhaled, and a sob of relief escaped her. She sank to the ground again, propping the blonde up mindfully, before pressing the heel of her scaled palms against her eyes.
It was over.
At least. The fighting was.
Teruko.
The adrenaline, self-preservation, and shock that had kept Teruko running were finally subsiding, leaving only a debilitating dismay. Help was here now, though. She could let the full brunt of what she’d seen hit her.
Teruko.
I’m so sorry that it ended like this, Daichi. I’m so sorry for everything.

Red Horn’s vision was starting to blur after that. In her gatling gun barrage of punches she’d felt a searing pain up each of her arms, but just then? She’d tried to use all the muscles in her neck and her fucking face to deliver one last attack. Big mistake to say the least. Her whole brain felt like it was in a haze at this point with the pain so directly close to it. Her body slumped forward, her breathing heavily labored, drool dripping from her maw as her heavy breathing just created a further issue. She felt something slam against her back briefly, then another and another, she was trying to push forward with chunks of rubble crashing into her, just keeping herself moving.
The droplets of pain soon stopped however. Briefly her brain considered Jaz, always the person to break her out of shit when she was on the scene but it was easy enough for even her fried brain to remember that girl was not in a position to help her, probably harder for her right now than even RedHorn to deal with this. She pushed forward another step when something burst into her frame of vision… oh… oh so it was that guy. Weird teeth guy… heh. She really shouldn’t be surprised. Him, that Godzilla woman, the other girl, whatever their situation was she couldn’t accuse any of them of ‘not playing their part’ today in the slightest. When she felt the hand construct scoop her up, the niggling sensation of bumpy teeth all across her skin was hardly pleasant but in her current situation not something she’d complain about, a deep groan running through her as she tipped her head back and just let the ride take her.
“Remind me… to thank you vigilante dude… later…”
She let out a final, groaning breath, still conscious, but the moment they were out of this she was ready to pass the hell out.

Tired. She felt so very very tired. The world around her had all but turned to fog as Jasmine fought tooth and nail just to stay conscious, keeping her eyes from rolling back into her skull through sheer willpower alone. The abundant taste of blood in her throat was starting to make her want to throw up -- something which she, admittedly, felt thankful for since it helped her stay awake. Each breath she took sounded like nothing more than a quiet and pained wheeze, every single inhale a butcher's knife rending her lungs apart piece by piece.
"F-fuck..." the girl coughed out, spitting out blood. Hazy emerald eyes glanced up at Teruko, flickering in and out of crimson ever so often as the lass did her best to channel what little energy her quirk could utilize.
I don't care. I have to do something! was the story her eyes told, relaying a message that she couldn't through her words. Weakened, yet resolved. Jasmine wasn't about to back down. Not here. Not now.
Those very same eyes observed as Teruko proceeded to prop the girl up. Jasmine winced and hissed quietly, her body screaming at her at the most meager of movements. The student was ambidextrous, but it wasn't difficult for her to discern which arm she should be using - the one she abused the least. "Use... my r-right..." Jasmine croaked out weakly. Granted, both of her limbs were absolutely fucked... but in the fights she had before unleashing her Blaze Buster the wolf had primarily used her left hand to fire off blast after blast against the fodder zombies, Headhunter and Torn... both for defense and offense. Christ. Only now did she realize how badly she'd overdone it.
She glanced at Teruko, "T-thank... you..."
This sucking was an understatement. The second the fabric begun wrapping around her broken arm the wolf bit down on her tongue so hard she thought she'd bite it off. The sensation felt agonizing. She'd almost lost consciousness again but by some miracle managed to hold on. Heavy breaths left her once the brace was tightened, her chest heaving up and down despite her poor lungs being on their last legs. Son of a fucking bitch... she swore inwardly, a sudden burst of exhausted anger forcing the air around her to begin warming up.
The fever hit her like a freight train almost immediately. If Teruko wasn't helping her Jasmine was one hundred and ten percent sure she would've fallen down flat on her face and passed out... if not outright died. The lass grit her teeth as her arm was lifted and leveled. A pained growl rumbled in her throat as the girl collected what little power she had left in the tank. It wasn't a lot. By all accounts it was such an insignificant amount it could barely be considered on the level of a goddamn concussion grenade. Luckily for her, power wasn't what they needed.
It was fire.
Focus... Jasmine's arm was shaking up a storm, both from the pain, the exhaustion, and the anemia slowly creeping up on her. She clicked her tongue with some irritation, forcing herself further and further. Small sparks started to crackle around her wrist and hand, small yet bright. They swirled around her fingers as they shakily made the shape of a gun. Come on... more... The heat kept climbing. More. More. Come on...
She could barely see, but somehow she knew Teruko's aim was true. All she could do was trust the woman, and frankly given how she put her neck on the line for Jasmine, she liked her chances. One breath. Two. Three.
Fire!
It was like a gunshot, and the second Jasmine's last explosion left her finger tips, she felt it. An immediate and borderline disastrous jolt of pain shooting all throughout her arm. Her body started to give out. She slumped. God... fucking-...
She wouldn't be waking up by herself again.
All she could do now was pray that her last efforts weren't useless and they'd help end this nightmare. Well, and that she'd get some goddamn medical attention before she drowned in her own blood. That'd be pretty neat. Oh, and some painkillers. If she wasn't hopped up on Morphine when she woke up next, she didn't want to wake up.

‘Steady…’ Her mind frantically repeated that same word over and over again in her head as she kept up her Vortex Breaker. Her vision was starting to darken at the edges as she kept focusing on Gigas, unrelenting in her use of Vortex Breaker til the undead behemoth goes down. Her jaw tightened as her target started yelling, fighting against the forceful winds and vacuum. ‘Fall.’ She felt pain in her ears at all the yelling that it was doing. ‘Fall!’ She leaned forward a bit as she felt her arms starting to grow sore and shake. The fact that this thing was lasting as long as it did under her assault made something inside her burn. “FALL DOWN ALREADY!” She roared, giving one final push of effort into her attack and finally tipping over the behemoth.
“Haaah...haaah.” She panted as she registered her arms falling to her sides limply. She canceled her anchoring and quickly threw herself out of the studio’s area, with some major help from her Quirk, as she watched the monstrous undead come to an end. She landed on the street and slowly pushed herself up, shaking off the pain from a not so gentle landing. She used the rod she had as a way to prop herself up to a standing position as she looked around. “This is going to be one of hell of a mess to clean up…” She mumbled.
She looked over at the other combatants. Caldera and Red Horn were looking worse off than her, but that was more because their way of fighting was very close and personal, in contrast to her preferred ranged and defensive tactics. Still, she was glad that they were there to fight, maybe visiting them while they recover would be a nice thing to do. She looked over at the other combatants that got involved with the fight and frowned. She thought about what to do about their presence before sighing and approaching them. ”Thanks…” She said, walking past them and heading for the reinforcements. “MEEEEEDIIIIIIIC!”

STORYTELLER The blast of the fuel tank turning into an combustion bomb flattened half of the studio's space and broke half of the nearest building just right over the street. The great damage was so large that even the incoming helicopters with medical teams or new reporters felt the shockwave in the air, giving a decent amount of them turbelunce. They observed the explosion and the area around it, surely no mere human would be able to withstand the immense impactful heat, street lamps scorched, cars flipped over and huge crater was formed next to the slightly smaller one, originally created by Caldera's combat against Torn. The medical teams got down to the ground level with haste. Looking out for survivors or people in need. At first they all thought no one was alive nearby, but the sight of a pinkhaired girl came running down towards them. her words reached to their years of training, responding without hesitation. A medical team gathered up near Jasmine, most of them looking at her with eyes of despair and shock, how was this girl still alive in such a state? Not only that, right behind the Teruko came two other pairs, both heavily injured aswell. But the medic approaching first to take care of Red Horn only just then realizing the former top number one hero was in such a devastating state.
Both Mia and Jasmine were the top priority among the five, along with Enda getting immediate treatment to his quick blood loss from his calves. It didn't even take five minutes before even more reinforcements arrived. Armored trucks and tactical swat teams came between buildings and likely doing a clean up of any living dead. The place looked like genuine hell. From the ground level the sky was orange red, smoke filling the air with ahses flying between everyone, even the medics themselves needed to wear protective masks to tolerate this harsh enviroments. This includes those injured. Safety masks and goggles provided along with an escort away from the place. The plaza still aflame by the fuel tank's explosion needed an emergency call to the firemen station, the fire was out of control! But beyond that point, all five of the brave fighters of this undead night were sent away.
An update came later that night on live television, an hour later when things have settled down, and also allowing the press to even get near. Authorities still feared for several more attacks throughout the night, however reports indicating that the rate of zombie cases drastically fell down, implying a spread of zombies was non existant and just part from the myth. The report follows up on the actual event of the film studio and its obliterated status. An interviewer managed to get someone to comment the events, someone who took place when things were tense. It was a worn out Buildmaster! He tugged his towel tight around his upperbody with a forced smile, trying his best to look presentable infront of the camera. But somehow he did not seem too happy to be shoved with a camera infront of him. He was asked the usual garbage of questions, until getting to the part of who was present.
''Ah... I can say for certain the rescue mission on the freeway couldn't have been done by the brave heroes acting on the spot. We got immense help from..''
He paused and hesitated with the answer in his mind, then he tapped his cheek with an embarrassed expression.
''Aha, all I know is that a bunch of extraordinary pro heroes did an amazing job, young and full of energy, those are the true saviors of tonight. The destruction happened because of some terrorist! Rockets were aimed at us at the freeway, so I won't sit still until I find whoever caused this!''
The interview ends with a brief shot of the aftermath on the film studio. With no smoke or ashes in the way, one could see this was indeed very much like a warzone, the many piles of burnt corpses scattered all over the plaza was a chilling sight. The report even commentates on damages happened nearby the event, such as the broken freeway with the makeshift bridge, the windows crackes several streets away, and one single crater that went down at least two meters just one street away from the film studio. The were no burn marks or anything unordinary, except for the outline of a humanoid shape at the bottom, as if someone fell from the sky!
-The Day After-
It was at the middle of the day, bright blue sky, the air was cleared and the place was quarantied from public space. Several specialists dealing with harzardous matters were scattered over the studio, plucking and sorting out between debris and burns human flesh. They discovered at least five trucks tipped and bent from the explosions had still a few active zombies. They were quickly dealt with by the nearby forced aswell as sealing them in special cases. The many layers of soot made it hard for the workers to walk around without tripping once in a while, with their hazmat suits and oxygen masks they sprayed the craters, due to the amount of fuel burnt, however they noticed one of the craters was unlike the other.
''Why are we spraying this crater again? It was likely just from one of those powerful pro heroes pulling a big one, like that Red Horn gal!''
''We can't be too sure, besides this crater are scorched to the core, like the big one over there, but this crater seem...clean. But I'll repeat myself; if there just happens to be even the slightest remainds of the stale fuel in this soil we will be in trouble!''
''Naaaaaw c'mon, let's skip this side and get our workshift done with, like who cares if there are some fuel left? We all can just be glad that there are no more of those undead freaks!''
''I guess you're right, but only because the soot makes it hard to detect other subtsances! I need this job man, and boss has been keeping an extra pair of eyes on me over the past week!''
''Ahahaha! I guess nothing's more scary than our boss! Not even those undead freaks!''
And at that very moment, in the middle of the crater, a mere meter behind the two works, a single dark blue hand emerges behind the many layers of burnt soil and pavement, covered in thick soot, slowly and clenching into the free air.
On that day, a sudden report came in, stating five workers were mutilated by an unknown force.
