Jack was a person who started out feeble. He was arguably weak willed, didn't know what he really was, didn't know WHO he was. A lost soul, searching for the things needed to fill in the missing pieces of his life. Emotionally incomplete, one could say. However, over the last year and a half at U.A., he came to quickly find many of the things he was missing in his life, the things that made him whole. His honor and pride, his love of helping others and talking to other people, the friends he's made...and the love that he discovered.
And yet, now he suddenly felt like he was back at square one.
The memories of the previous night flashed in his mind like a record on repeat. Meara lashing out at him, most likely due to the stress and pain she had been in. Jack feeling weak for not being able to do anything to help her. Then, suddenly...a text. A cry for help. Meara had seemed to relapse. He remember acting immediately, begging Tetsuko to take him with her. Riding with her through the rain storm that was oddly fitting for how bad that night went. He remembered waiting for Tetsuko to come back...and waiting, and waiting...until enough time had passed that he felt the need to see what was happening.
And then...realization.
Her bag on the ground, surrounded by odd slash marks all over the place. Jack knew immediately what had happened, but he couldn't have dared to accept the reality of it. The rest of the night was a blur; Tetsuko coming back to the small dragon boy on his knees, clutching the bag to his chest like it was a life vest of sorts. For the first time in his life, Jack was absolutely silent. His mind was a haze, his chest tight, his breathing shallow. He didn't even know how Tetsuko managed to get him back to campus; he probably cooperated to an extent, but he didn't know. Nor did he care.
He just knew that he didn't sleep that night. It definitely showed; his hair and clothes were still damp from the rain. He attempted to reach out a little to Chimera earlier; bless his soul, but...he didn't understand. Jack couldn't bring himself to say it fully. His Meara was gone. Kidnapped. And there was no way to track her. Her bag still had a light scent of her; but nothing more. Not enough to try and track her down. Not even a drop of blood. Nothing.
And that was all Jack was feeling right now. Nothing. Not sad, not angry, not happy, not even tired. He felt blank; like all of his progress had been wiped. He had one job; make sure she was ok. Make sure she had everything she needed, including space. He had done everything he could, he knew; that's why he felt worthless. He should've been able to do more. He should've been there when she needed him most. And now...gone. She's gone.
Jack sat in Ground Alpha, in their spot; the area where she and him first properly met, where they first bonded. He didn't move an inch in hours, even his tail was still. His eyes were almost bleak, almost lifeless. A dragon was supposed to protect at the very least their greatest treasure, and he had failed. What was even the point right now? He didn't know where to even start. He couldn't do much without risking expulsion; if U.A. didn't even get in deep shit for what happened, when it comes out. It was only a matter of time; he was surprised Tetsuko didn't tell them yet. It didn't matter. Nothing did.
When a dragon loses their greatest treasure...what would they do next?

Desmoshi whistled happily as he made his way to the training grounds. He was doing good for his second year here at Yuuei. He was the class president of 2-A. He had been building bonds with the people of Musutafu. And to top it all off, he had a girlfriend. Life couldn't get any sweeter. But he still had some dark parts to worry about. Ikari was still on the loose and he would have to deal with that bridge sooner or later. Not to mention the other villains who escaped during the riot.
But he wasn't going to think about that today. Today, he was going to focus on exercising and getting his quirk on point. He could wield four elements correctly, but he needed new ways to apply it. As he entered the training grounds, Desmoshi spotted something that he didn't use to seeing. A sad Jack sitting by himself. Wasn't he dating Meera-senpai? Did they have a falling out? Well, he couldn't just sit there and watch one of his classmates be sad. He needed to see if he was okay. It was he was his responsibility as a class representative to make sure everyone was good. Plus, he like cheering people up.
"Hey, Jack," Desmoshi greeted with a smile. As he got closer, he could see that Jack was down in the dumps. "Everything good?" Desmoshi asked cautiously.

Fion noticed the group chat seemed a little off the last few days mostly Jack who he usually talked to an joked around with seemed to be acting way different then usual. Fion was sure something must have been up to make him not act like his usual goofy self in the chat so he decided he'd try and find him around the school and try and find out whats up. He wasn't really sure where to start and figured another set of shiny rocks likely wouldn't work to get his attention this time.
Fion began to wander abit looking around trying to figure out where exactly his small dragon friend could be it wasn't too long till he found himself in ground alpha which actually would be the most likely spot to find someone. Since Fion's logic is when someone get's upset they would go training to try and distract themselves from whatever pain their feeling.
It didn't take too long until Fion could see the little dragon he looked really sad he could also see someone else with Jack it looked like Desmoshi perhaps he was also there to try and cheer jack up? Fion couldn't really tell so he walked up to the two and began to say something that hopefully he'd get a response to. "Hey Desmoshi you also notice jack hasn't been himself lately? I came to try and help him out if he's willing to say what happened that is."
Fion was hopefully not prying into something that wasn't his business but even if it wasn't he'd whanna at least try to help in any way he can.

It was annoying mostly for Amare to have to go out looking for him. Their friendship started off rocky but eventually it quickly bloomed into something that Amare depended on. On stressful days of photo shoots and vlogging it brought a strange sense of comfort to know that he could log in and and play around and bother Jack to lift his spirits. Of course it would be in good fun and both boys knew it, though recently Jack has not been giving the same amount of energy he used to. So after studying Amare figured he would take some time to go and see if Jack was alright.
The thing with that was though he and Jack have never actually met in person. All of their discourse and conversation was online, so for Amare to meet Jack he had to first find out what Jack looked like. That took a little while as all he had to go off of was the fact that he had a Dragon-esque quirk. Maybe turned into a dragon? It was not a lot so Amare had to become a top level investigator to figure things out. He had checked the bathrooms, washrooms, common rooms and kitchen for the vague description of a male he had pieced together from the testimony of several other students.
Walking past a window almost ready to admit defeat, Amare would of spotted three guys, one of which was Desmoshi. As a student president Desmoshi probably knew exactly who and where Jack was so Amare broke into a sprint to reach the older youth. Upon getting into shouting distance, Amare would yell out only to cut himself short as the description he recieved for Jack seemed to match on of the other 2 guys he did not recognize.
Slowing to a jog and eventually to a stop, Amare would be grinning at the otherwise sullen looking group glad that looking for his online friend did not take the entire day.
"Jack?! It's me, Amare. You weren't online today so I came to see whats up. Can't bug ya if your not in the chat y'know."

Jack sat alone in silence for a while at this point. His mind was all over the place, really. Partially trying to get his thoughts straight, partially trying desperately to think of the next step forward from here...and most of it blaming himself for what had happened. He hugged the bag in his arms just a little bit tighter, his heart aching a little for a moment, a few tears rolling down his eyes as he closed them tight. He took a shaky breath, shaking off the sadness and returning to an emotionless state. It was better than crying his eyes out at least...at least, he thought so.
He didn't really react much when he detected Desmoshi coming towards him initially. His pointy, scaly ear just kind of twitched lightly, but not much more. He didn't really question why he was here; he might only be doing so out of courtesy of his Class President title. Or maybe he did give a damn. He didn't really know...nor did he really care. He looked up at him with blank eyes, showing absolutely no sign of what he was feeling in that moment. He simply shrugged in response to him asking if everything was ok. "...When is anything ok?" he muttered, burying his face back into Meara's bag.
Before anything more could be said, another twitch from Jack's ears would indicate that he could tell that Fion was coming next. Probably just worried that the dragon boy wasn't hunting his shiny rocks like usual. He felt that by itself was just pointless...much like anything else right now. Even what he was doing was pointless. All of it was. All of it...
He stirred lightly when Fion tried to ask what happened. Jack gave him the same reaction that he did to Desmoshi: a simple look of blank eyes, shrugging, and returning to hugging the bag. However, his tail did seem to start moving just a little - like their presence did stir some kind of emotion in the dragon boy. He...just didn't really feel it, however. At least not yet.
Lastly was admittedly an unfamiliar scent and voice. It was actually enough to make Jack perk up lightly, even if only for a moment. His horns shifted into a lightly brighter shade of violet, a sense of curiosity filling the dragon boy. A dark-skinned boy approached the trio, introducing himself as Amare, surprisingly enough. Someone Jack didn't really know much even came down to check up on him...?
Jack looked up and around at the trio of boys. For a second, a brief light returned to his eyes - and in them, a deep look of grief and sadness. He wanted to say something...anything about what had happened. He wanted to cry out into the sky and vent his sadness and anger. And, for a split second, it looked like that's what Jack was about to do. "...I..." he started, brief tears forming in his eyes as he contemplated saying what was on his mind.
However, just as quickly as it appeared, it was replaced by something else. It felt as though a cold hand gripped his heart once more. Instead of the almost dead look in his eyes from before, though, they suddenly morphed. They were suddenly a bright, golden hue, his eyes going much sharper...more predatory. A look of anger, almost.
He snorted out steam from his nose, before suddenly jumping backwards and using his wings to gain some distance. And, within mere seconds, Jack's smaller form was replaced by the hulking, scaly form of his draconic self. He held the bag within his mouth, glaring at the trio of boys, before turning around in a circle like a dog, and plopping down with his back turned to them. He dropped Meara's bag in between his front paws, resting his face in front of it, and sighing deeping.
"Leave me be. I'm fine." he grumbled. However, at the very least their appearance did spark some amount of emotion within the dragon, and it showed as his purrs sounded almost sad. He sighed again, his heart feeling cold and empty...he just wanted his Meara back...was that too much to ask for...?

Desmoshi couldn't understand. What was making his happy-go-lucky classmate this depressed? This angry? He reminded him of how Mizuki would act when she didn't want to be bothered about her problems. She would hide and push people away. And Desmoshi wasn't having any of it. The last few months had taught a few things. A bigger threat was on the horizon. It was coming whether they liked it or not. And that threat was going to take them all out if they didn't do the one thing they needed to do. Work together and depend on each other.
But it wasn't just about the whole making sure the class stays together thing either. A friend has lost something here today. He knew that all too well when he dealt with Niji and her loss. The dead look in the eyes. Pushing people away. She did it too. All because she was hurting inside. Desmoshi hated to see a friend hurt, physically, and emotionally. He couldn't save Ikari when he was younger. But dammit, he was going to lose another person to their depression, especially a friend.
And here were three people trying to find out what was wrong with their friend. And Jack was attempting to push them away. "Jack, I am not leaving," Desmoshi said his voice filled with determination. He looked at the other students. "We are not leaving." He walked up next to the dragon. "This has nothing to do with the damn class president thing or anything else. When I see someone in trouble, I help. Whatever you are going through, whatever is bugging you, we are here to help. We spend so much time at this school pushing each other away. That needs to stop. You are my friend and I am here to help." It was very rare for Desmoshi to be upset or even angry, let alone curse when he was. But this hard-headed dragon needed a friend.
He walked in front of his friend and sat in front of him. "And I am not going anywhere until we talked," Desmoshi said, his determined eyes looking into Jack's. "You can get upset if you want or pissed off at me if you like. But I will not move. Not until I know what is going on."

Fion was surprised by Amare showing up but was glad another person came hopefully a group of three would be enough to get to Jack cause he was clearly not in a good way at the moment. He wasn't surprised by the fairly negative response from Jack but it felt like they were getting through to him abit as Fion could clearly notice tears forming. It unfortunately went south fast as he went into his dragon form and his big form at that one Fion hadn't actually seen yet.
He wasn't sure what could happen but he could hear what sounded like sad dragon noises so maybe they could get him to talk or maybe they'd be able to do something to cheer him up even slightly. It wasn't long until Desmoshi raised his voice and told Jack they had no intention of abandoning him which was correct Fion couldn't just leave a friend alone when they were upset. Fion walked towards jack and began to talk in a more serious tone then he usually would. "Des is right we aren't going anywhere so better get ready to talk to us."
Fion was hoping Jack would try to at least give them some idea of whats got him so down hell Fion was willing to fight the guy if it'd help cheer him up abit. Regardless of what happened though he wouldn't move from his spot till they got down to what was going on with him.

Amare would listen to the other boys say their piece about Jack's refusal to wanting to explain the situation. Unfortunately he also had transformed using his quirk and backed away from his three fellow students. Sighing loudly as he dabbed sweat off his brow, the young teen would take a few steps closer to Jack who clearly was not in his usual upbeat mood.
"C'mon man you know we aren't going anywhere. So the quicker you open up the quicker we can help you get better."
Shuffling his feet a bit Amare would grin slyly as he stole a glance at the sky.
"You can keep trying to fight us, but you know theres three of us and one of you."
Amare was not sure what was going on with the young dragon but he knew that through the interactions he has had with him that he would not mind a slight provocation. Best part is that the older dragon might even take him up on the offer, as there was probably no better way to blow off some steam than to fight it out.
Whatever it was that was bothering him though, told Amare that it was very important to his fellow student. Maybe it had to do with his family? Amare knew that if his family was in trouble than he would definitely be feeling extremely down in the dumps. But then there was that bag...Who's bag was that?
"Does it have to do with the owner of that bag you've got? Who's is it Jack? If your trying to give it back but can't find them, that's easy. Six eyes are better than two."

A low growl started to emit from the large dragon as the trio of students began to promptly refuse to leave his side. First, Desmoshi actually got angry for a moment. It was actually enough to make Jack's horns change color for a split second - though to a very obvious crimson red. His snarls actually got a little bit louder, the anger, while not misguided, was not exactly what Jack needed at the moment. He knew deep down the guy meant well - it just didn't bode well with the internally grieving dragon. "I'm not exactly certain that you're a psychologist, Haymaker," he replied, his voice deeper and doubled in his draconic form. He wasn't exactly upset yet - but he was well on his way to being if they kept trying to draw out his emotions.
Fion was also quick to join Desmoshi's side, being rather stern with the idea that Jack was going to have to cave and talk to them sooner or later. Jack growled lightly, narrowing his eyes at the boy. "I don't HAVE to say anything," he snarled, taking his eyes off of the bag in his possession for a split second. His calm demeanor was starting to crack, and it most certainly showed - with the red crackle of plasma coursing all around the dragon, especially around his chest and his horns. It wasn't building up much, at least not yet...
That is, until Amare decided to speak up.
The newer First Year mentioned how that he could fight them all he wants - there were three of them, and one of him. He quickly shot up, even his claws, which were made of the same material as his horns and chest gem, began to glow bright red at this point. It even looked like his spine was starting to glow, illuminating the fur lining his back. His snarl was very deep, and full of prideful anger. "Is that a fucking challenge?" he growled, sounds of thunder booming seemingly coming from within him. As far as he knew, the only one between the three of them that even stood a remote chance against him as Desmoshi. And even he wasn't certain how much the class president could keep up with how much experience Jack had himself.
However, that tough demeanor immediately shattered the moment Amare pointed out the bag. The plasma around Jack quickly turned a new color that he wasn't even aware that it could go - a royal purple, and even his eyes turned red with the amount of raw emotion that he was feeling. He bared his fangs at the three of them, looking almost like he was going to actually attack. Honestly, for a moment...he was going to. The amount of raw anger and anguish that he was feeling was enough to make him want to explode. And, unfortunately, the three students were in his blast radius.
However, at the last second, the smallest amount of sense the dragon had managed to reel him in. His horns returned to their normal color, and his eyes returned to their normal, purple hue. "...No, that's not it. That's not it at all..." he said finally, his voice actually sounding like it's normal self, and filled with grief. He realized what he was doing was wrong. He couldn't take his anger out...he couldn't let the beast roam free. He didn't want to hurt anyone...he just...wanted his love back.
He sighed, exhaling a heavy amount of steam that would engulf the three students. With a brief shake of his head, he picked up the bag again with his mouth and backed away a short distance before turning his back to them and laying back down. He heaved another heavy sigh, not looking at them. "...I failed. Simple as fucking that," he replied finally, not divulging what he meant exactly. "I'm the weakest student here. I failed at what I was supposed to do. And now I'm paying the price."

Desmoshi could feel the anger washing off Jack- he knew it too well. It was a rare feeling when someone really pissed him off, threatening to hurt others. He knew what it felt like to be backed in a corner, feeling helpless, and having to rely on your fury to answer the problem. Like when they hurt his sister when he was younger. The anger he felt that day... The pain he inflicted on the students that hurt her... the regret he felt afterward. "You right," Desmoshi responded, his voice firm with determination. "I am not a psychologist. My grades say that much. But I am a friend. Your friend." He was being honest about that.
However, Desmoshi had to be on guard. Not that Jack was a wild animal or anything- he knew how someone acted when they were angry. He did the same. But what was making Jack like this? Desmoshi stood up immediately when he saw the crackle of plasma energy. He knew where this was going. He had experienced a plasma to the chest by him, but he was probably going easy on him during the Sports Festival. Right now- he was pretty sure Jack wouldn't hold back.
Then Amare spoke. It did kind of sounded like a challenge. But Desmoshi knew this would not have been on a friendly challenge. When Jack started to glow and snarled back his question of whether this was a challenge or not, Desmoshi eyes went red as flames encircled transformed arms and two flaming arms came out of his back. [smear:#e63219]"Don't. Do. It,"[/smear:#e69419:0] Desmoshi said seriously, the flames roaring wildly off of him. Desmoshi knew Jack had him beat in the experience department, but he wasn't going let Jack hurt other students while he was like this. And Desmoshi had grown a lot in the months that had passed. Plus, he had Fion and Amare with him, giving him support.
'Please back down,' Desmoshi thought to himself. He didn't want it to go down like this. 'You might not have a choice. Do it,' Ame spoke in his head. 'Not right now,' Desmoshi thought. 'Want this to go calm- hopefully.' Just as things got heated, Amare pointed out the bag, which seemed to have changed Jack's mood. And Desmoshi saw it- regret. And it hurt. He had it too. He couldn't save Ikari. His anger over it and regret. He knew.
Desmoshi flames dispel, his face replaced with understanding and sadness as Jack talked about how he had failed and how weak he was. He would not take pity on Jack. That was not going to help. He needed encouragement and real truth. Not lies and babying him. He took a seat next to Jack.
He looked at the sky of the training ground, remembering his father's words when he thought himself as weak and an idiot. "Jack, you are an idiot," Desmoshi said. In case Jack tried to react, Desmoshi puts up his hand. "My dad told me that all the time. I couldn't beat my sister in spars when we were younger. I would complain that I was weaker and a failure. She is smarter and more experienced than me, although we are twins." Desmoshi thought back to it a smile coming to his face. "My dad would call me an idiot because I doubted myself and forgot that I needed to be stronger for myself and not just because I wanted to prove something to others. I needed to live past the failures, no matter how serious it was. I needed to grow from it."
Desmoshi took a deep breath as he continued, his expression turning to one of sadness. "I was reminded of a failure during the Fuchu Riots," Desmoshi said quietly and calmly. "I saw my old middle school bully. Back then, we didn't end on a good note. Apparently, he is a criminal now and he showed up during the riots, blaming me for his troubles. I thought could reach him. But he wouldn't listen to me. And in a way, I felt like I failed. I felt like I didn't do enough to save him back in our middle school days. I wasn't strong enough to help him during the riots, even though I beat him. I wasn't strong enough to make him see what was good."
Desmoshi looked at Jack. "Failure isn't something that defines you as person. It's a learning experience. It tells you what you need to be ready for and what you can do differently. What defines you is how you view yourself. But not negatively. Positively. Jack, whether you believe it or not, you are strong. Look at these guys." Desmoshi said pointing at the other two students. "You think they are here for me? They are here for you. Because you made the influence for them. They look to you for strength. You are strong and not a failure."
Desmoshi wasn't sure if his words would be enough. Hopefully, the other two students could help out as best they could. Jack was going to need it.

Fion could feel the hostility from Jack and it had him pretty concerned starting a fight with him could end pretty badly especially with how his emotions were at the moment. Fion could noticed the red and knew it likely meant anger so he made sure to be in a position where he could react if he needed to. He wasn't a fan of being told he didn't need to explain what was going sure he didn't but at the same time he cant exactly get any help unless he does say whats wrong. "We can't help if you don't tell us whats wrong though."
Amare seemed to rile up Jack more with a challenge to a fight which in this situation might cause more harm then good even if it's a good way to let off steam. It seemed like he was about to attack them but he seemed to before doing anything change back to being depressed and started to talk abit to them. It sounded like he felt like he failed at something maybe trying to protect someone? Soon after Des gave a big old friendship speech and also saying some stuff about himself which Fion would note for later might be useful information at some point. Fion figured he might aswell say abit on the matter too maybe it'd help abit? Fion gave a cheerful tone this time maybe it'd be helpful.
"I don't know much about failure but what I do know is if you fall down you get back up and keep trying. You are a big goofball but not weak you are very strong." Fion had a feeling he knew what was wrong based on some stuff he saw happening in the chat room and felt he should offer to help with whatever might be the problem. "If you need it I can help with whatever it is that's got you so down I'm sure all three of us are willing to help you aswell."

Amare thought he out of the three would of said the words that most resonated with Jack. However the young teen was completely wrong. He had playfully suggested that Jack get out his frustration through a friendly spa,r but the young dragon must of taken it the wrong way. The deep grumble of his voice seemed to shake and rock Amare to his bones as he heard Jack response with nothing but anger towards what he perceived to be a challenge. Immediately feeling threatened the dark skinned youth would get into a defensive stance, something that both he and Desmoshi adopted as the fellow student seemed to activate his quirk in response to a potential fight with the upperclassman.
Amare did not think that his suggesdtion would make things turn so sour so quickly but he definitely knew that if this was Jack's decision, the young boxer would not hold back. However as if catching the dragon off guard, Amare admired how his next comment instantly changed his fellow students mood. The friendship speech from Desmoshi featuring Fion probably helped too in that regard. The tone of the mood isntantly changed from anger to sadness as Jack seemed to be holding onto some sort of trauma he was hesitant to share. He mentioned how he was weak, how he had failed. But did not elaborate. Amare knew Jack was anything but a failure or weak, being both himself the young teen knew the meaning of being both.
So Amare choose to keep quiet while his fellow students spoke. The ladst thing he wanted was to rile things up and undo the hard and well thought out words that Fion and Desmoshi were able to come up with to help their friend.

Jack's anger only grew as he saw that Desmoshi tried to intimidate him down. He bared his fangs at the boy, his snarl increasing as he told him not to do it. Luckily for him, the dragon was able to reel himself in at the last second, before he let his anger spread out of control. He sighed in annoyance, and promptly went back to turning his back to the group and lamenting his failures. He clearly just wanted to be left alone for a little while, but he supposed a tiny part of him wanted himself to be fixed. That was probably the only real reason he was reacting at all to the group - sometimes his heart did know what was best. He just wasn't ready to admit it yet.
As he explained vaguely about his problems, Desmoshi decided to call him an idiot. His eyes quickly turned back to being golden, and he glared back at the boy for a moment. However, he decided to let him explain himself, lest he smack him with his tail. Desmoshi then went on to explain a situation that apparently had happened both during his childhood and during the prison breakouts a while back. About how apparently his dad tried to tell him to get back up for feeling weak against his sister, or whatever. About how he faced an old bully-turned-criminal during the raids.
However, instead of Desmoshi's words resonating with the dragon boy, Jack's face quickly grew angrier and angrier the more he spoke. If looks could kill, the golden glare of the dragon probably would have killed Desmoshi a thousand times over by this point, and he's only been talking for a few minutes. He started to realize that this must have been how Eli had felt a long while back when he explained HIS past, and got socked as a result. Admittedly, the main reason he doesn't really like talking about it anymore.
And yet, here they were, having to talk about it more.
Jack waiting for him to finish with his nonsense, his eye twitching a little bit in anger. [smear:#4db8ff]"...Is that supposed to be some kind of clarity speech, or something? Because I don't feel very clear..."[/smear:#f00000:0] he snarled, his voice going back to the vicious undertone it had before. He got up again for a moment, taking a step towards Desmoshi, until he was directly in his face. "Desmoshi, take a good look at me, and I want you to take a WILD guess about how different our lives were, despite coming from wealth," he snarled, using his tail to gesture to his whole body, including the giant scar and the gem that was on his chest.
"You claim you had advice from your father. How you had sparring partners and friends and school and all that happy dappy BULLSHIT. YOU HAVE A FAMILY. I HARDLY EVER FUCKING DID, YOU IDIOT," he bellowed, somehow getting even more in his face, blowing steam from his nose and enveloping the boy in it for a moment. "People HATED me from the moment my Quirk developed! To them, to most of the people I had ever met in my life up until I came here, have only ever seen me as a Devil! Do you really think that some bullshit story from YOUR life will somehow relate to mine? You say that you met a fucking bully during the raids. I fought a fucking giant ass ape and saw people DEAD because of it! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND SHIT."
He was about to say more, when Fion tried to speak up a little bit. He stated that they couldn't help if they didn't know what was wrong. That they COULD help him if he just opened up. Jack's glare quickly turned onto him, though he wasn't as in his face as he was Desmoshi. "Do you not get it? NO ONE can help me here. The only ones who could possibly help me here are the fucking Pros, but even then there's probably only so much that they can do against the villain that caused this-"
Suddenly, he found himself a bit unable to speak. He tried to breathe, but it very difficult to do so. He held a paw to his chest, the gem and horns on him suddenly turning a lemon yellow. He felt a rush of panic and anxiety overtake him. All the bad memories that he was trying to suppress suddenly came flooding back - not only the traumatic scenes of his past, but all the events between him and Meara that had happened up until this point. How helpless he felt, the pain that he felt for seeing her in pain, for her being kidnapped.
He quickly turned away again from the group, swiping his tail to get them away from his, though he didn't do it hard. Despite his anger and panic attack, he still refused to hurt them. Tears felt from the dragon's eyes, dropping to the ground and quickly starting to make puddles. He collapsed onto one arm, holding his chest with the other, Meara's bag dropping to his side. "M-Meara..." he cried, trying and failing to pull himself together as he continued to struggle to breathe.

Desmoshi face scrunched. Enough was enough. He was trying his best to be patient. He was trying his best to help. And Jack pushed a button he shouldn't have. A button that has been holding in him since the riots. He had been trying to give helpful advice. Advice that his dad once gave him. But his father's words were thrown out the window.
"HOW. FUCKING. DARE. YOU?" Desmohi's rage was coming to the surface. "How dare you throw that stupid of an excuse in my face?!" He stood up facing the dragon, unflinching and unmoving. "You don't know anything about me! Do you think I am happy all the time?! I have problems just like you do! Yes, I had a family! But I was judged and persecuted for my quirk as well!" He pointed at the other students. "We all were! Welcome to the real fucking world of heroes. Where everyone will hate you, no matter what you do! I will not stand here to play the fucking 'who's life is sadder' game! So you shut that up now!"
Desmoshi wasn't done yet. Jack brought up the fact of the riots, talking about his encounter as though he was the only went through it. This was the final trigger. The things bottled up was finally coming to head. "So what you fought some stupid gorilla?! And sure you may have some people died from it?! You know what?!" Desmoshi was in anger, the memory of the riots. "I WATCHED MY SISTER ALMOST DIED! I WATCHED AS SOME PUNK-ASS VILLIAN PLUNGED A HOLE IN HER FUCKING CHEST! I COULD HAVE LOST MY SISTER BECAUSE-" The thought of Mizuki almost dying was a constant nightmare for him. He was trying his best to keep his mind focused. Trying to ignore the tragedy.
Desmoshi caught himself. This wasn't about him. This was about Jack. He decided to bottle his issues. For the time being. He took a deep breath. No matter how difficult the dragon kid was being, he promised himself to keep his rage in check. "Because I wasn't a good leader. So no, it's not a freaking speech. It's not a stupid clarity thing. It's what I have learned to do. I keep up the happy-dappy attitude out of positivity. So I think about the goals, not the failures. So that way can help people and try to fix the problems."
He really wanted to help Jack. He wanted to know what was going on and help. But this guy was being too much. Fion tried to talk to him and seem like he wanted to say more. Jack turned away from the group, still holding onto the bag, slightly moving away from the swiping tail. Desmoshi kept his solemn look on his face. It took everything in him to not walk away at that moment. The part of him that wanted to help people kept him rooted to the spot.

Fion didn't exactly expect this second burst of anger which honestly managed to make him kind of annoyed since he honestly felt jack went way to far with it this time. He stayed quiet while he had his little freak out he honestly sounded to Fion like some kid having a temper tantrum he seemed to forget other people have gone through the stuff he had aswell sure Fion hadn't but he heard of it and knows how awful it was.
Fion actually clenched his fist beacuse it sounded somewhat self centered but he could soon hear Desmoshi do something he hadn't exactly expected he seemed to have snapped which caught him off guard but he said all reasonable things. if Fion was in his case he would have already decked Jack he was surprised when he seemed to calm down and blame himself for having bad leadership which Fion felt like he shouldn't do that he heard it was a very awful time nobody could be blamed for it especially not students.
Soon Fion could see a glare from Jack saying they cant help him only the pro's can which sparked annoyance in him clearly he had no faith in the other students if he is willing to say something as stupid as that. Fion decided he'd actually walk towards jack while raising his voice abit. "You are such and idiot you know that? You actually think we can't help you are you that lost in your own world?"
Fion was actually really annoyed with the stupidity at the point he decided screw it words weren't gonna work here fists would be the better answer. When he finally got face to face with Jack he simply let out a punch straight to the face it works in anime maybe it'd work in real life but regardless Fion was now commited to what he did. "Seeing as you clearly don't want to listen I'm going to make you listen."
