❝ “Heheheheh, oh~? Such confidence, I like it~” The joke that she had shot at her junior seeming to backfire in a rather blissful fashion, as a result Miss Murasaki chuckling as not only did Kanna question her remark but she did it in such a cool and off the cuff fashion that once more the teacher thought she was looking at her own teenage self, and beamed because of that realization. “Damn, I really am kidding myself if I expected you to learn humility from a mentor like me, huh?” Shaking her head and shrugging as she smiled at her star student, even though she had commented on the apparent lack of humility that the would-be heroine was showing in jest the sable siren still recognised that she had kind of set herself up for a fail given who she was dealing with, and ever more so with who was acting as her role model. They really were two peas in a pod, too much so sometimes, but others it seemed to land so perfectly that a Peruvian farmer would be worried about the possibility of finding his monarch’s new swimming pool being placed in their path. “Wellll, I am the teacher here, makes sense I should show you how we did it ‘back in my day’, eh?” Sighing and smiling all the more when next the lass seemed to encourage her own efforts, even though the weight of her heart added just a hint of reluctance to the response of the rowdy raven she could never resist a chance to show off, especially when considered just how much the golden haired girl at her side meant to her, and only encouraged her to flaunt herself futher. “Just don’t feel too bad if you can’t keep up, OK?” Shaking her head and smirking as she smoothed her hair out a bit better before setting off, though it seemed the plush position her pupil was in proved to be rather a distracting image the dark dish threw off the moment and grinned toward her green eyed girl before setting off, and found that the elation she felt at making an exhibition of herself also seemed to take away some of the tiredness she had been feeling thus far. “Let’s do this thing…!” Arms that bit stronger thanks to the excitement she felt from the challenge before her, after bounding ahead the black beauty beamed toward her blonde buddy again and clapped eyes upon a nice white crest gathering in the distance, and because of it knew that her time was now. Smoothing steering herself into a sweeping arc that would not disturb the current as she pulled her knees and then her feet beneath her, the foam that marked the peak of the wave that was building behind her seemed nearer and nearer with every second that passed, and intentional or not seemed to hit the very second that the siren threw herself into a stable stance, but that was quick enough. Balanced thanks to her able agility and the experience she had in doing this so many times before today, the lips of the lilac lady spread as she felt herself being carried forward by the curious curve of the water, and would soon encourage her to do something a little more daring than simply ride the wonderful wake that was building behind her body… |

"Yeeeeah that seems like the obvious conclusion there~", teased the blonde, snickering ever so cheekily as she winked at her mentor, all the more so at her rather uncharacteristic way of speaking for somebody her age, "Careful there, gonna get me thinking you're fifty years old or some shit."
But in the end, she could only scoff as Maya shot her back all that same confidence and then more, flipping her wet hair behind her shoulder, and yet still looking at her out the corner of her eye as she paddled forward and quickly caught up with the first wave:
"D-damn~...", spoke the blonde, mouthing her admiration as her eyes shot wide, lips parting ever so slightly until she could all but taste the salt as the idle droplet splattered all over her.
For all her talk, Kanna had to admit... Her mentor did put on one hell of a show, Kanna couldn't help but bite her lip as she watched that vivacious visage propping herself right up on her board, tearing through that creast like she owned the place... Damn, did she look badass doing that, not to mention hot as fucking hell... Not there was ever any doubt. Still, it came with a measure of comfort that a surfer with that degree of skill wouldn't simply let herself get distracted by her eager student, ensuring Kanna didn't care as much about expressing her admiration as such. In the end, she couldn't help but chew her bottom lip with a mix of admiration and impatience, shooting a curious glance backwards to catch the next wave:
"Well... Can't let her have all the fun now can I~?", snickered the blonde, that cocky smirk returning to her mouth as she paddled to catch the wave, slipping her hands onto her board, arching her back as she propped herself up on top of it with a quick two steps.
She'd never taken any formal lessons... But she was always a keen observer, enough to watch the moves the surfers did as they all but soared o the wavecrests as such. Granted, having such extensive training as a martial artist certainly endowed her with the balance she needed, knees bent, arms spread out for balance as she stood upright seemingly effortlessly, ripping across her wave with a gleeful smile on her face, partly hoping her mentor had been watching her the whole way through~

❝ “Heeheeheehee~” Spotting that brilliant blondness behind her and beaming because of it, the black beauty giggled a little and began to swerve the heel of her board about a bit to kick up some spray in order to splash and splatter her star student cheekily, as the pace of the purple pro picked up she shook her hair out and lowered her stance little by little, riding her board right on the edge as she indulged her chance to show off for the young woman who followed her. “You having a nice time there watching my ass, Kanna~?” Shooting another look over her shoulder as she felt that rush of adrenaline and endorphins pulsing through her via the effort of her pounding heartbeat, that thrilling feeling that the fox felt in the moment seemed to reawaken the more natural side of the girl and with that she couldn’t help but return to her teasing ways as she waved her rump from side to side in order to catch the attention of her apprentice, though largely more in the spirit of a cheeky teammate than with her usual levels of flirtatious undertone. “Check this out…!” Not wasting her chance to show off either as she found a nice wave cresting behind them and smirked as a result of it, rather than use the wake of the wave to travel along Maya grinned at the girl with the green gaze and then twisted her path to move toward it, feeling rather fearless at the moment to say the least. The blood pumping in her ears like the biggest and baddest drum there ever was, the dark dish could feel that rhythm that burst out from within her compelling her to be more dangerous and daring with every moment that passed by, and had little will to resist it either for that matter. “WOOOOOO!” This and her desire to make her perky protégé smile seeming to be the reason through which she pushed herself to climb that watery half pipe with a sense reckless disregard for the path she might make from it, Miss Murasaki crowed with excitement as the rising rush seemed to lift her board and the body atop it higher and higher, until she was practically parallel with the surface of the sea, but she wasn’t done yet. And now, for the money shot~ One last look shooting toward her student before the sable siren smirked and then went whole hog into what she was doing, the ebony enchantress would flick her body to one side a moment later as she tried to leave the water entirely and roll through the air in a manner that to her mind would look totally badass, but was a bit of a gamble. After all, she hadn’t tried something this fancy on a board before, and was simply looking to impress the girl who trailed her rather than following some kind of method or well thought out plan… |

"W-What... How can I not watch it when it's just... Up in my face like that~", retorted the blonde, all but scoffing as that cheeky remark actually hit home, forcing her jade green eyes away from that rapacious rump as her marvellous mentor squatted atop her board. She couldn't look away for long though, and soon enough her eyes had drifted back in as she bit her lip, not about to miss a beat as Maya cut across the water with the stylish grace befitting a badass woman like herself, "Oooof, whatcha gonna do now...?"
As if she could do anything but watch. She could catch that wave building up behind them, crouching as she mustered all the speed she'd built up and rode over to the next wave... Now, Kanna couldn't do that but, but then, she'd never really thought of trying it herself... But in the end, nothing quite bit the shock and awe of the image that followed, the sable siren peeling herself off the surface of the sea and soaring through the air.
"Daaamn~... I see ya got a toon of tricks up your sleeve~", and yet the longer Kanna admired her with an awestruck, gleeful grin on her face, the greater the itch she felt to show off for her in turn, and before long, she just couldn't hold it anymore, calling out a warning as she finally propped herself up and off her board, "Back off bitch, next one's mine~!"
She wouldn't warn twice but then again, she hardly expected Maya to drop in on her. After catching up with the rising wave, Kanna turned her board on a sudden, hard left, showing off her balance as she stood perfectly stable across the board, her body swaying ever so softly to accomodate the sudden shifts to her center of balance. And as her cocky smile widened into a smirk, she followed that off into yet another turn, this time in the opposite direction, left and right as the wave barelled over, carving a smooth, neat zigzagging shape across the wave as her hand slid upwards, fingertips grazing the water ever so slightly as she kept her body low, lowering her center of gravity for stability as she all but soared through the surface of the water:
"But...!", as the breaking wave began crashing down on top of her, Kanna sped up, lowering her twists and turns, angling her board down to pick up speed and avoid the inevitable wipeout, until... Finally pushing down with her rear foot, she angled her board up and propelled herself into an airborne spin, before falling back down into the water with a splash, still balanced perfectly atop her board, "You ain't the only one with tricks~...!!"
Looking back at Maya, Kanna flipped her long wet hair behind her shoulder, still standing proudly atop her board as the now subdued wave merely carried her peacefully closer to shore.

❝ W-Whoa!? The flip of the flying fox sending a rush through her like no other and making her wish that the mere moments of hang time that she had caught by doing it would go on forever, despite the fact that the second or two of suspension with her hair whirling and pulse racing seemed to stretch so much longer in her experience, Miss Murasaki found herself returning to the surface of the sea all too quickly for her tastes and then was in for a challenge. Not quite as experienced in the aquatic aerial arts as her daring might have demanded of her, as the board of the black beauty hit the water she found herself wincing for a second as it wobbled beneath her and made her heart pound even quicker as it threatened to breach the blue, but thankfully for her pride did not actually manage to do so. “Whew~” Shaken but even more so exhilarated by that near miss, Maya looked around her with her pulse pounding as hard as a blacksmith’s hammer and as fast as the pace of a cheetah, and though this might have been worrying for most people found herself thrilled by the experience. Adrenaline surging through her fine feminine form, and her blood turning into a reckless cocktail as endorphins and dopamine plunged into her system as well the moment of worry suddenly transformed to one of victory and achievement, and helped the Asian amazon to a rather large helping of that feeling where one was unstoppable and invincible. And if that wasn’t enough she would soon have a brimming feeling of pride to add to the cavalcade of emotions she was feeling right now as a certain someone opted to follow her feat with one of her own. “Whooooaaaaa~!” The pace of her board ebbing thanks to the impact of her landing but also because the focus of the femme turned toward the feisty fox at her side, after watching the way the young wonder whipped her board about to build up her own pace Miss Murasaki was left gaping herself both by the move that Kanna pulled off next, and after a moment of wincing where she thought for sure her juicy junior was going back in the drink crowed loudly when the green eyed girl celebrated her own success with her own flip. “That was awesoooooome!” Twisting her own tail from one side to the other so that she could shoot over to the teen and beaming a mile wide as she did so, the ravishing raven felt almost as big a rush from seeing her star student land such a gnarly looking move as she had after she had managed her own, and honestly had they not been currently riding waves would probably have been striking that delightful derriere really rather firmly after such a delectable deed. “You’ve been holding out on me, huuuuuh~?” Instead only able to offer a verbal reward rather than something more physical and admittedly more painful, even as she tried to play the act off with a hint of coolness the eyes of the ebony empress were flooded with such an extreme of excitement that her enjoyment of what the emerald enchantress had done was clear to see, and honestly it also seemed to dust away any of the cobwebs left upon her as well after the earlier disappointments her day had provided. “Keeping a few sweet manoeuvres back as trump cards to make your sexy sensei smile on days like this~?” Over the moon really and in all honesty just happy to have someone in her life who seemed not only able but willing to keep pace with her in this manner for as long as she wanted, though Maya’s words still carried that smirky smugness that she was known for as she rode the water alongside her ward a hint of softness and affection shone from her stare, and reflected her own joy at finally having someone like this in her life. Sure, she couldn’t take everything she wanted from the girl, but at the same time, it was just nice having her by her side. It was just what she had been looking for, and never really known it… |

Kanna had to admit... That felt even better than she was expecting it might. Strange... She'd never really relished a rowdy audience as much as she did now, and in the heat of the moment, she couldn't do anything but enjoy those gawks and cheers, all but giggling as she watching that bodacious beauty known as Maya Murasaki struggling to land on her own two feet. Far from an easy feat, such tricks were out of reach of the common mortal, even pro surfers knew better than to hopelessly attempt them... But for superhuman individuals like these two... They could show off to their heart's content, and the blonde hacker sure as hell wanted to make the most of it:
"Who's checking whose ass now~...?", teased Kanna, winking at her mischievous mentor, swaying that bodacious behind as she smirked confidently, her heart pounding in her chest in the aftermath of the rush she just felt ripping across that wave, until her board slowly slowed down as the leftover momentum carried her along, "What... Y'know I like keeping some cards up my sleeve~"
At some point Kanna hardly knew what thrilled her more, the adrenaline pumping through her veins at the tricks she pulled off, or the admiration in those amazing amethysts... Mind you, she wasn't normally the type to show off her surfing skills like that, and even though she realized this, Kanna knew better than think too hard on just why exactly that might be. For all her concern, the endless flood of praise from her marvellous mentor's luscious lips ultimately got the better of her until the blonde couldn't help but blush ever so slightly, her green gaze peeling away as she rubbed behind her neck:
"G-Geez... If I was gonna show you every last trick I got, we'd have been at it forever~...", replied the blonde, clearly quite a bit more overwhelmed than she let on, looking at Maya out the corner of her eye as she caught that oddly soft hint as the girl looked at her... Well... She couldn't quite remember the last time she got a look like that, if ever... And for a firl with a memory as keen as her, that notion alone spoke for itself. In the end, her smile all too easily returned even through the bashful blush on her cheeks, leaning over her board, that pert posterior perking out ever so slightly as the girl's hands came to rest on her board, legs spilling out to either side with a soft splash as she sat on her board and look up to her mentor, nodding right back to the breaking waves from whence they started, "So... Looks like round one is mine~... So ya better be ready for round two."
Clearly Kanna wasn't about to take no for an answer here, but, if the knowing little smirk plastered on her lips was anything to go by, she seemed quite confident that Maya wouldn't really accept any other option but an immediate rematch.

❝ “Heeheeheehe~” Giggling gleefully as her green eyed gal seemed to turn one of her own little lines around and use it back on her, Miss Murasaki couldn’t help but beam at her blonde buddy happily as she let herself drift along on that current, and let out a contented sigh as she did so. “You cheeky fuckinnnnn’ biiiittttch~” Unable to entirely let that little reversal slide entirely and as such finding a choice phrase of her perky protégé to use back as her, the sable siren smiled as she drew on a little something she could readily recall the feisty femme barking back at her when she got spicy with her and added her own obvious tone of insincerity to it, all while waiting to see what her juicy junior would make of it. “Ohhhhhhh, forever huh~?” Tilting her head toward the teen as that prickly outer layer about the girl seemed to soften in response to her own gentle gaze, the warrior woman looked toward her emerald eyed enchantress with warmth and lowered her tone into what was almost a purr as she responded, and shrugged it out as she considered the concept the girl had raised. “Just you and me, with the sun and the sea, doesn’t sound so bad from where I’m standing~?” Honestly not at all bothered by the idea of enjoying every moment she could with her beach buddy and the boards they rode on because it seemed like a perfect form of privacy for the pair, she could imagine the two of them blending together these little moments of connection in between their antics from now until time’s end, and right now wouldn’t have minded that one little bit. In fact that might have been the closest thing she could think of to heaven right now. “Heheheheh, I suppose I can let you have that one, huh~?” Shaking her head when Kanna seemed to claim the victory in their little contest of showing off, while Miss Murasaki wasn’t exactly sure that the effort of the girl with the green gaze had been entirely worth her win she simply chuckled and nodded at her audacity in amusement and knew deep that one little win would probably mean the world to her, so she let her have it without much of a fuss. “Seems to mean a lot to ya~” All too quickly caught up in the fervour of the moment when the younger woman seemed to immediately call for their second round to begin, the black beauty licked her lips as her blonde buddy wiggled her resplendent rump and got herself under way again, and found herself immediately chasing after the girl. “Better keep it up then~!” Posture mimicking her pupil as she smirked and shot a word of playful encouragement toward her, without a moment of hesitation the ravishing raven was weaving from side to side with student and shooting forward, and honestly loved seeing her cheeky kouhai take the lead, and not just because of the view it provided her with. For one reason or another something about the relaxed setting and that hint of competitiveness between them seeming to have helped the fair haired femme come out of her shell that bit more than ever before, the walls that her young wonder put up had slipped down a little more, and encouraged her to do the same without ever making her feel vulnerable. She had the power here, after all, and yet it was also nice to just let it go, every now and then, a little bit at a time… |

Kanna laughed as she heard her own words thrown back at her... How nice of her to remember, huh~? She could have stood there and teased her for it a bit more, but in the end, Maya conjured forth a whole other kind of image, until the blonde couldn't help but look into her eyes and nod, her smile widening ever so slightly:
"Yeah... Not gonna lie, that doesn't sound bad at all~...", added the blonde, chuckling playfully, for once actually honest with her feelings as she looked admiringly at the amazing amazon she'd chosen to mentor her, perhaps tinged with just the slightest hint of affection. She'd never felt this close to a teacher after all, but in the end if she had to wonder what made Maya a special case, Kanna would almost certainly note how she never really felt like she was talking to a teacher, "Damn, makes ya thing we should be hitting the beach more often huh~...?"
In the end, the blonde could only sigh as she relaxed in the ravishing raven's company, letting down her guard around her before she could ever realize it, grinning as she acknowledged her defeat... A half hearted acknowledgement but, honestly, she never expected Maya to take that lying down, and thus, she merely snickered:
"Well, duh, whooping your ass always feels pretty damn good~", snarked the blonde right back, winking at her marvellous mentor, thrilled by how quickly she took up her challenge for round two, undaunted by how they'd probably be at it for a while until either of them brought the contest to a satisfying close...
For a time of course, they'd come up with a different challenge before long, no doubt. Keeping an eye on her as Maya too got down on her board, Kanna followed suit and laid down on it. This time, she knew better than trying to race her towards the waves... Even if she might do that later on, she really didn't know... For now though, merely paddling for that destination brought a deep, vivid blush to her cheeks, almost like the cheeky hacker couldn't help but think about what happened the last time they hid under the waves, let alone the luscious little kiss they'd shared on the beach back then:
"Don't worry... I'll be damned if I let you cut ahead like last time~", she teased, Maya's words jolting her right back to reality as she snickered and paddled away... Clearly... It would take a mightly long time before Kanna got used to feeling her heart pounding like that, every time her mentor got just a bit too close for comfort... And yet she never really felt the need to shy away from that sensation. For now though, she settled for cutting across the waves alongside her, grinning giddily as she soon propped herself up on her board, all but cheering as she made the most of her next chance to show off for her mentor, "Whooooo~..!! Try this one for size~"
