~Some months ago~
Sometimes when you're unhappy, angry, hurt and fed up. That feeling reaches a boiling point. And today was the day Miku reached hers. She has had enough. Enough with the lies and punishments and deceit and everything. She has felt like shit. Her birthday was coming up too, but she couldnt take it. Thats why Miku decided to just leave. She gathered her fanny pack, her plant seeds and the cursed object which she hid in a cloth and in her backpack. Miku took some money that she had as her allowance and her savings. She took some clothes and a bit of snacks.
Miku went to the window and threw a seed through the window and using her Quirk to make her dragon. She then jumped on its back and silently flew away into the night. She wanted to leave her life. She didnt need anyone. She was to be a hermit and live deep in the forest. She has plants and can grow fruit to feed off of it. She can use her Quirk for make believe friends. She can use it for everything As she flew, she muted her phone and turned off the GPS. She wasnt sure how phone tracking worked, but she believed if you turn off the GPS you cant be tracked.
She tried. She wanted to be a legit hero and complete the challenge and not be a dropout. But she failed. They'll see it on Moday when she is gone.
Eventually she landed and found a place to stay. The only thing that gave some sort of illumination was the moonlight. Miku hid the dragon in sme bushes and simply stopped using it. Considering she didnt have some camp making skills, she decided to rough it out and be with the stars
~The Next Morning/Back at Home~
G and the family decided to have breakfast. There was Kai, there was Hana and there was .... Miku? Wait where was Miku? G looked at Hana and asked her "Is she still in bed?"
He hadnt know. He hasnt checked. As far as she knew she was just sleeping in. Unaware what was actually going on
~Meanwhile back with Miku~
Morning time came and she decided to make a few hidden venus fly traps that acted as bear traps, in case someone tried to take her away from her new life. She didnt wanna go back. She didnt need anyone. She just wanted to be alone and sulk. She didnt want to see anyone. It just wasnt fair. It wasnt her fault, it was his fault. He isolated her and prevented her to make friends. He made her socially awkward. He made her into a hermit crab that she is. He shaped her into a monster. No one wanted to be with her. So be it.
No one will miss her.
And those that do can just easily forget her.
She wont be with them, she wont be with Thunder. Her option is neither. She wants solitude. And not be part of a power struggle. She just wants a little bit of peace

Hanako put Kai in his baby seat and looked up from what she was doing when G spoke to her. It was a silent morning. Kai seemed to be sleepy still but wanted to stay awake and Hanako was just preparing for a nice quiet weekend for a change. She did not work most of the weekends, the gym could run on the people that worked there and Hanako would have a weekend off to spend with her family, the most important people she had in her life. "I haven't checked, darling. I tried to keep Kai up for breakfast." But he started to cry and she took him out of his seat and just shushed him while brushing through his hair, it was clear her son didn't want to eat now and that he was just tired and she let him on her shoulder and watched him carefully. "Do you want me to check or...?" If she would walk, Kai would fall asleep easier, as she would rock him a little. But as G confirmed, she moved back to the foyer and up to the first floor and knocked on Miku's door, "Miku, baby, would you want to have breakfast with us?" She heard nothing and she frowned, she opened the door a little and looked at her empty bed, before opening the door more, but her presence was nowhere. She walked on to the annexe bathroom and knocked on it too, "Miku?" She said, moving Kai to her other arm as she got tired and already slightly anxious. But no reaction again and there was no one in the bathroom either.
She quickly left the room and crossed the hallway to the bedroom that was Haruuhi's but there was no one there either and she turned back until she noticed the window was open and she looked at the ground below it. "Gil?" She yelled and Kai started to cry again, she hurried back to the hallway and down the stairs. "She isn't here?" But Hanako was sure that Miku had been here, there was no note, she was sure the girl wasn't in the living room or dining room either and she looked up to her husband. She remembered something, very vaguely in the back of her head. Miku's talk about G back in England. Where Hanako had not been in any mood to be positive herself but she had done her very best to protect G from the teenage rebellion. God what happened to Miku and what had Hanako missed, "Did you two have a fight?" She asked worriedly, this might be the issue and she had missed it.

"Gil?" she yelled and he heard Kai who started to cry. G was immediatelly on alert, fearing the worst. He rushed to Hana and left what he was doing. The two soon met in the hallway and Hana said that she isnt here "What??" he said bewildered. Hana then asked him if they had a fight. G looked at her confused "No?" he said in an uncertain tone
"Imma gona check the rest of the perimeter" G said and then he went to explore the rest of the house. Every room, nook and cranny. But there was no Miku. He then went to his room and got dressed in his Vigi gear, he walked over to Hana and said "Imma look around the house, the garden and everything" and with that he did as he said. But as he explored, he realized she really wasnt anywhere to be seen. She was not home.
He took his phone and called Hana as he was still outdoors in the garden "She's not here." he said worriedly. He did remember her window was open. He walked over to under her window and watched it from the outside and then he looked in the opposite direction to where the window led
"I think she might have ran away" he said with great regret

[attr="class","grHeaderB"] [attr="class","grBody"] She did come down the stairs rather quickly, there were so many things wrong with this picture and she did not know what to say about it or do about it. She knew that Kai was crying but more things were important now and it was just all of that. She wasn't sure where to start or what to do and she would just call out to G and hurry down the stairs. She looked at him with her big blue eyes full of worry ad just stand so close to him, her free hand on his chest, she would not even know what to say. She, therefore, formed the news as a question. she looked at him and nodded, that's why she asked G if they had a fight. All she could remember was what Miku said in England, very vaguely she remembered, not the exact words. She was sure it was something negative though, which was the only thing she remembered. She nodded, "Maybe... maybe she was just feeling left out or something." She did not want to say more but that dinner with Haruuhi and James, everything at all.[break][break] She nodded and moved Kai up a little, trying to shush him. "Yes, please do." And bring her home, that was all Hanako could think. This was horrible, but what could she do about it at this point, this was all. She had to stay here and she would just remain in the kitchen. She could not follow G so fast and with that there was no way that he wouldn't see what she would see. She stood up when G came in, all dressed in the dark gear and she swallowed with a difficult feeling in her throat. Should she call the police already? What about the other information, what if she did not go on her own will? That was impossible though, she had been in this house.[break][break] "Ran away?" Her voice was quite shrill and Kai still sobbed softly and she did not know what to do. "Come back, baby. We will get the car, we will cover a distance in that case, I bring Kai to Aunt Sayaka?" She wanted to help him, maybe he should go on foot and she would come back with the car to circle the district before maybe driving to U.A. Yes, that was a start? God this was tiring, no it wasn't tiring, it was too much anxiety to call it that. She did not want to think about it at all. Hana told G that perhaps Miku felt left out. He thought about it. Lately they have been focusing on Kai and that Haruuhi thing. They didnt do much for Miku, she felt bad at the Sports Fest and they didnt really do anything to cheer her up. But thats because they felt like shit as well. That wasnt an excuse though. She was also grounded prior to the Sports Fest, so all in all, she had an unpleasant time with them. He could see why Miku wanted to leave. But... to not even leave a letter? Wow... they really screwed up.
G explored outside their house and the garden, but seeing as Miku was nowhere, he came to a conclusion that she ran away. Hana told G to come back, they will get the car to cover a distance while Kai goes to auntie Sayaka. G agreed with her and rushed over to Hana. So with that the couple got ready pretty quickly. And G would drive them all to aunt Sayaka, so they can drop off Kai.
Upon arrival, G told Hana to drop him off, he was in his Vigi gear and didnt want to be seen, not to mention he was keeping the car running. As Hana was dropping off Kai, G thought where would Miku go. Away from him and away from Thunder. Miku would go... where there is nature? Maybe? She can be self sustaining with her Quirk. He wondered

If she had known that before, then why had she not done anything about it, right? Why would she have made this stupid decision and not work on it before hand? It was everything and nothing at the same time, she should have done something and now it was too late. She begged G to come back to her so they could go and take the car and cover the grounds a lot faster to find Miku. Hana wondered how long she was already gone and if it was just that, all the things that she had said before about G and how Hana had tried to defend him but at that time couldn't. She did not want to point fingers or give someone else the blame, she should have said it earlier but as they did not talk at that point and she had kept her distance, avoided his touch, everything... she had not told him that.[break][break] She would hobble out of the car and get Kai from his little seat and handed him over to Sayaka who waited for her at the door. "I can't explain yet, I will call you soon to do so but I have to go. Please take good care of him." She had not even given a baby bag, thank god Sayaka wasn't new to babysitting Kai and she had a few things left but Hanako had no eyes for that and she turned back to the car and jumped in. "Should we ask Haruuhi? To at least ask her friends?" She did not know what to do and she might be already panicking but she watched her husband and his stoic face, at least on the outside and she wondered what he thought on the inside. But she would quickly turn her attention back to the window and look if she saw a little blonde girl that looked lost, at least not many were blonde here, right? God what if she had run off to Thundershock? Hana arrived and sat inside the car. G drove off immediatelly. Hana meanwhile asked if they should call Haruuhi to ask her friends. G shook his hand "No. I dont want anyone from UA involved. Just use the GPS and tell me whats the closest area that has nature like trees and stuff. The park is too urban and obvious. Miku is stubborn. If she has beef against me, chances are she has beef with Thunder. She would go where there is none of us, but can use her Quirk to self sustain herself. I reckon a forest" G said as he drove pretty much nowhere
He had no idea where to go. If he wasnt holding the steering wheel, they would've shook. He was also very close to hyperventilating. He was internally panicking. He had no idea what to do. He was just so upset, so worried, so sad. He glanced at Hana to see if she was searching on phone GPS.
As soon as Hana would tell him where to look, he would give pedal to the metal and drive to the destination. Speed limits be damned. The two needed to find Miku and get her home and talk to her

She did not want to talk about not talking to Haruuhi or her homeroom teacher or so. She found it a ridiculous stupid idea not to do, especially Haruuhi might know more but she was going to do it just as G said how because he knew Miku better and longer than Hana herself did. "There is a forest between us and the school." Then Miku must have seen it too on the trips home and thus Hanako instructed G to go there. She zoomed in on the map of the forest to see if there was a river that went through there, water was the essential part or like a puddle right? She would look further and watch G as they were going there. Now was not the time either to share so she shut up and watched her phone. She tried Miku's phone but it immediately went to voicemail, so she had shut if off and she sighed. When they arrived she got out of the car and leaned against it, "And what do we do now?" As they drove, Hana was working as the brains, figuring out where Miku could be. She looked at the Maps app and said that theres a forest between them and school
"There? On it!!" he said, pedal to the metal and speeds over to the forest. As he drove, Hana would try to call Miku, only to get directed to voicemail.
After a quick drive, G parks and gets out of the car. He waits for Hana to get out as well. Hana then leaned against the car and asked what do they do now.
G pondered "Hmmm" he pondered more and more and eventually spoke "Im not sure. Im too scared to rush in. We might scare her away." he then looked around them "Im also hesitant about splitting up. Just... call it a bad hunch of a feeling. I dont want us to seperate. Im not sure if this place has signal if we go in." granted he never went to forests like this. So he didnt know if signal was the problem.
He looked at Hana, clearly worried. He tried to be stoic, but it was hard. He took a few steps away, only to sit on the ground facing Hana, grabbing his head
"I dont know whats smart. I dont know what to do" he said He was too scared to involve anyone from UA. There were heroes. And school people like head master. He didnt want to compromise Miku's position in school, he didnt want to risk expelling her. He had no idea where today goes. G looked at Hana with worry in his eyes "Hana, please. Tell me what to do. I dont know. Im scared. How do we find her" he asked Hana for help and advice. He was at its wits end. He came to a complete dead end. A mental dead end. A mental block where everything shut down. He had nothing. Only fear. He cant even describe said fear. Fear of what might happen? He didnt know. How can they get Miku back? What if she doesnt want to go back? |

"Why not just call Haruuhi or just Nimue? Anything dear, what if it is beyond our hands, right? Maybe Nimue knows more as one of her teachers, that's not immediately the entire body count of Yuuei." She said worriedly though because it felt to her that it was beyond them and that she needed a hero, not that G wasn't a hero but in this case, he was also the father and he was... potentially the issue. She should have thought about it again, but she had not been able to. After her own body sort of seemed to reject her, her brain could not handle it and look at how it went. She just watched him drive, almost faster than the speed limit but he seemed to have considered not doing that. Miku was already gone, driving four or five miles faster did not seem to help anyway. She did not pick up, Hana sighed. She wasn't sure what to think about it at all. It felt stupid and selfish about what she thought. So she better did not bring it up.[break][break] They would arrive t the spot quickly enough and Hanako got out as fast as she could but leaned against the car as they had no plan at all. She crossed her arms in front of her chest and listened to G. Yea, they might scare her away. "I don't think we have to separate, most likely I will get lost and then we have a bigger issue." Besides the grounds here were too big to even consider to be able to find Miku with just the two of them splitting up so what was the point. She shouldn't be so sarcastic but she wanted to find Miku and she wanted it to be over about ten minutes ago, that's unfortunately not how it worked. She took a step towards him when he finally walked away from her and told her the issue and she hunched down and pulled him against her. "I don't know either, let's call Nimue. She knows this stuff, she knows what would be a spot to survive on your own okay? We can deal with that, and else lets go in there and try to find a river, water is essential." But she was afraid, how would they know. She just brushed through his hair and at this point she wished Miku would see them, would see how it hurt them. Hana replied and said why not call Haruu or Nim. She talked him into letting them call Nimue. G nodded "Ok. Call Nimue. I dont want Haruuhi to worry about this. Call Nimue and just dont let her tell the entire school" he said, almost pleading in his voice.
They arrived, but didnt go in blindly. So they strategized. They dont have to be seperate. Hana took a step towards him and pulled him against her. He just hugged her for a moment, quiet. He just nodded "R-right."
He let Hana call Nimue as he was a bit shaky now. He would let her talk and if Nimue said they needed to wait here. They would wait here. As long as it takes. G knew Miku was here somewhere. Yes, he realized his mistake by turning her into a hermit. Poor girl knows nothing else. He knows if he let her bloom unhindered that she'd be a social butterfly, bubbly and have many friends. Someone who is too sweet. But he ruined her. Because he was selfish. Now he is paying the price. Now she did the ultimate seperation and ran away to be alone, the only way she really knew how to live.
Before when alone, she was the center of attention. She felt the world revolved around her. But she learned thats not the case. He took everything from her. Her confidence, her social skills, her pedestal, her life, her everything. All in all, he felt guilty as it all started to slowly dawn on him as he realized why Miku would most likely choose her place to reside here.
G took deep breaths to calm down. They needed Nimue, he just hoped she can help. Part of him was starting to be scared. Scared of facing Miku. How can he approach her?

The biology teacher told her that she would be there in twenty minutes and would say that the woods she picked sound like a reasonable point to start. She would hunch down and would hug him and just try to keep him grounded for now. Hana hunched down and hugged him, talking to him to calm him down as they wait for Nimue. Hana was indeed so strong. She said that they need to think. Find a way to approach Miku. Nimue will be here in 20 minutes. G feels guilty so so guilty. For doing this to Miku and also for bothering Nimue. It felt like those two would see eachother only when G was in trouble. Hana tried to distract him and say that they should think what to say to Miku should they find her or rather WHEN they find her. And will only one of them talk to her
"R-right" he repeated as she brushed through his hair.
Hana then told him that he is a good daddy. G looked at her teary eyed "Am I?" he was feeling as if he was breaking due to his past fuck ups. Its like his past came back to haunt him.
"I'm not" he said as he hugged her "Its all my fault. This is all my fault." he felt so bad and so guilty, he couldnt control himself
But soon upon the arrival of the hero, he had to. He got up and wiped his tears before turning to face Nimue, he walked over to her. But he didnt know what to say.
So he just fumbled a bit and asked "So...erm... how much do you know or not know" because before he was a mess that he didnt really hear what Hana told Nimue.
But whatever info Nimue needed, G would gladly tell her and cooperate with her. He just wanted Miku back. Part of it is guilt and remorse. But another part because he is worried about Miku. He was a mess that was barely holding itself together infront of Nimue. He needed to be tough infront of others.

When she arrived twenty minutes after Hanako's call, she was slightly worried. She noticed G on the ground and Hanako holding him. She bit her lip as she just heard what he said but decided to pretend not to. With loud steps she walked closer to the couple and gave a nod to the both of them and a hesitant smile. "You rang." She mentioned and looked from one worried face to the other.
"Hanako told me that Miku ran away from home and you guys think it might be here?" More she did not know and she looked at the man and the woman behind him a little. "What happened?" She needed to know before she would be able to do something. So she listened, and she waited and she would see what they could do. "There is a river not too far from him. Okay what we will do is we make al little fan, we will stay in each other sights but we spread out more to find signs. What you can look for is broken branches and so on, maybe her blonde hair on trees, it's not easy but signs for life. That's how tracking works, okay, so let's do so." She would point to Hana to go on her left and G on her right, as she was better and she did not want them to be distracted by each other, she would use it this way and she would continue. They would spread out and hurry, she did not know what Miku would do but she had seen it. The shy and pulled back girl, she needed out, she needed to speak and learn what to do with herself when she did not like matters instead of this, running away was no option. But she would cross that bridge when she came to it.

Nimue spoke how there was a river not too far from them. She then said they should stay in each other sights but they spread out more to find signs. Broken branches and whatever. G just rubbed his forehead. He saw Nimue point Hana to go left and G to right. He nodded. He went to the right where Nimue pointed him to explore and find signs of life, signs of Miku. He even looked up to see if she was up the trees.
He saw nothing
But something saw him in the distance. It was Miku and she quickly ran. G seeing some ruffling of the leaves in the distance quickly rushed over. Hoping it was Miku and not an animal. He noticed he was running away further then Nimue and Hana. He didnt know should he call them or not. If it was Miku, his call to them could scare Miku away. He took his phone as he ran and rang Hana once or twice and then hung up. He hoped she would get that as a sign that he got something potentially. For now the chase was on
