She got out of the water and grabbed a towel after putting the glass down on a table that was conveniently in her way. She would stay, stare at the garden and try to calm down. Maybe it was just a bit of everything, betrayal wasn't everywhere but it felt like it was. Soon enough, she was sure, soon enough she would lose everyone again. So let's not try to be close to anyone, they would only turn on her again. She wanted friends, she wanted people to care about her and adore her and love her and call her when things were looking blue. No one would. That was simply the life of this King. She was dead and yet very much alive. Sometimesshewishedthat she was just somewhere else entirely but she wasn't and this was going to be her life for the rest of her dying days. She felt it, falling over the edge of her waterline, dropping on her cheekbone and rolling down to her jaw. One single tear, it would never come back to her. She brushed her cheek clear and took a deep almost silent breath, her quirk training coming in handy anyway. Maybe she would use it, disappear for a bit while everyone would be able to hang out. No one would miss her, it did not matter.
She decided to go change but before she reached the door she heard it and stopped in track. Her eyes turned to a girl and she just held her breath. No, not again. Her eyes snapped at Sonya... maybe it already started? Who knows, no one was going to ask her opinion and she did not have to say anything. She was far enough away and far more in control even if she was a grumpy little bitch and she opened the door as softly as she could, closing it in the same manner and leaning against it when inside to catch her breath.
Sometimes she wished... that she could really disappear.
