Was that a bug buzzing in his ear? Well, no matter, it's probably not relevant to anything significant. Colt watches from a distance as each of the meat shields went ahead and their things. Rei did some fancy footwork and neat things with his quirk. Colt couldn't help but let out a small cheer of, "Woot! Awesome, Rei!" Colt cried out, impressed by the boy's quirk, and he was handsome to boot, so a plus. Oh, there's the buzzing again, probably best to ignore it once more.

His brilliant emerald reflected the demon's ruby eyes as they met glances. Colt kept up his serene smile as she tossed her beams at him. Colt knew he couldn't dodge them with flying alone since she was hellishly strong and skilled at fighting, so if he flew off, she would aim where he was going. So Colt had to rely on a meat shield to pull him away from harm's way--- and there it is.

As Colt assumed he was pulled away by an unexpected person, which was Fion, as Colt is pulled away from the Beams in an unnatural angle for his flight patterns-safely pulled him away-but just barely, could've been annoying to heal his injuries if Fion was a moment slower. Colt lets out a cheer and a grin as he spoke "Phew, just a moment later, and I'd be a Colt Sandwich right about now, Thank you Fion!" Colt spoke brightly despite how scary the whole thing was.

Colt listens to Fion as he spoke and untangles himself from his whips and did a salute and says, "Sir, yes, sir!" Colt says as he flew off into the tighter construction area. Thanks to his wings size, and mobility they were able to fit into tighter and more cramped spaces then what bigger wings would allow. So Colt did his best to Keep Redhorn preoccupied. Unless the madwoman plans to just slam her body through the beams and work supplies her ranged attacks will need more aim and focus to hit him precisely which is he counting on for the others to think up a plan and beat her or at least make her look bad, hopefully.

Rei's smile widened as Mia effortlessly deflected both his and Jack's attack and immediately went on the offense. This was about the third time he'd seen her in action at this point and he could say with certainty that she didn't disappoint. For him, this wasn't as much of winning or losing as it was to observe and figure out how he could get better...well and have fun in the process.[break][break]

With the rest of the group outside of Jack and Yukiko doing nothing but running away he decided on a different approach. Aside from potentially Jack, Rei felt as though in a physical fight he would be able to hold out longer than anyone else, and yet at the same time, he didn't have anything he could really do if he couldn't get up close and personal.[break][break]

He flashed Colt a smile and thumbs up before refocusing on the task at hand. As everyone else caused a diversion Rei took stock of his surroundings until he spotted a mining dump truck that was half destroyed over in a pile of junk. He ran over to it and placed his palms against it testing his powers to see if it was possible for him to use it as a weapon. So once he got a feel for it he focused to make it as light as possible before he hoisted it up over his head, repositioning so he was standing directly below it. [break][break]

Digging his feet in he crouched as the truck wobbled overhead before he jumped about 15 feet into the air and threw the full truck at Mia. He would release his power as soon as it left his head which would cause the truck to accelerate much faster than it normally would if it was just falling. As for him before to slowly fall back to the ground as he tried to keep an eye on his other classmates to see if they would do something to keep Mia at bay.[break][break]
