IT'S SHOWTIME!
My my, it was rather tense in here, was it not?
Good thing he was an actor and the show must go on, right? Why yes, of course, it simply must go on, tumble forward even when your leg's broken ho ho~! Thankfully, he had someone like Honey aiding him since she was very thoughtful and mindful of not just the wound, but bedside manner as well. Something he could work off of and help by encouraging her to keep going in the right direction. Now, now, it isn't that he'd mind if someone was getting straight to the point, mind you, but he felt as though the other fellow was probably a more suitable patient for the pink young lady with the way she held herself. See, it seemed as though he had a playful air of sass about him, it made the dynamic between the let's get this over with correctly student and...oh my Freya's PR boy...like something he'd expect on a show of some kind. However, had the tables been turned, he would have been just as cooperative as he'd been with the idol of PopUp!
See, the pink young lady was able to hold her ground quite easily, the two played off of each other rather well so it all worked out. Considering if someone was so much as playfully sassing honey over here...it would probably be pretty discouraging to her, would it not?
Ah...such curious coping mechanisms...
That, right there...that's another prominent reason why he was glad Honey was tending to him aside from the tenacity to overcome her challenges. "Ding ding~! That's correct, my dear little Miss Furball~! My ankle is in excruciating pain, more so than my arm~! Oh ho ho ho~!" That smile across his lips as those upbeat words rolled past his lips, there was a subtle little twitch at the corner of his mouth...this was exhausting, but he couldn't let the young hero feel bad or down about anything. If he could, he would offer the young lady a lone thumbs up, but instead, he had to keep holding his arm in place with the utmost care.
One would expect this to be a brand of passive aggressive nature, but no, it was an honest effort at staying positive despite all the pain. Speaking of pain his large fluffy ears perked up before twitching for a moment at the word tape. UH....that didn't seem very wise but...eh..heh...oh god, in Furball he was going to trust. Hopefully she'd correct it over to something more sensible like bandages...yikes...! Maintaining an optimistic demeanor was far more difficult as he grit his teeth and braced himself as that stubborn shoe and sock were removed with as much care as the tiny girl could muster. Feh...this made him really wish he had a healing quirk more so than before...this was a rather crummy situation!
A soft sigh of relief escaped him when he went for something that wasn't going to get stuck to his fur...pheeeeewwww! Wincing as she carefully bound his ankle, this was definitely uncomfortable as could be...but he was painfully calm, all things considered. Nodding along here and there as she spoke to affirm he was listening to her every step of the way and had has consent to continue mending and tending to his ankle.

God she was nervous, standing next to a star like Angelica, she felt silly and stupid. She should learn more about medical aid but she strangely put did not have the time to do what she wanted. Having to shoot films, going to dance and singing classes, it wasn't easy to be an idol and trying to be a support student. Not that anyone would see it as a difficulty, she did it herself, so to say. Though she didn't, it was her mother but she was sure her mother knew best. Honey was just tired of everything every day but at least with her big amount of energy nothing was going wrong so that helped! Honey now explained what she was doing to Finn's ankle, checking if it was not broken before explaining she was using another type of tape than for people with no fur. She was actually quite happy this existed on the market now, as a girl with a little fur layer herself, she wouldn't look forward to tape either. She had to think before she applied the bandaid, not wanting to put Finn in more pain by doing it wrong the first time and having to remove it. Finally remembering how to apply it, as Nakahara-sensei had explained this to her several times, she started with the tape around the shin, moving it so that she could stick it together with a little bandaid so it wouldn't stick to fur, she felt she was doing okay here. Rolling the bandage slowly over his ankle and making sure it was tight but not too much it was the best that she could do. When done she looked up to Finn and would just have to ask, "Does it hurt a lot or think it is okay like this? It has to be tight but of course not too bad, but it will support your ankle to make sure it will not sprain again while you are healing." But that meant that if Finn said it was fine, she would leave his shoe and sock off, no need to tighten that again that would only hurt more. She should maybe get him a crutch, that would be better yea. "I think it might be good to use crutches for now, I will get them for you in a bit. I need to get someone to help with your shoulder." She looked at Angelica, she wasn't sure and yet she was convinced that she shouldn't do this as she had no experience.
"D-did you page someone for the shoulder?" Did her client not have a hurt shoulder as well? Should she ask for a second assistant to come help her? She wasn't sure but she would depending on Angelica's answer. Else she would ask one of the nurse at the front of the building as they were really kind to her, so that would be helpful. Now with that set and done she would just prepare for the next step, wow this felt so difficult.

good BEDSIDE MANNERS ARE NO SUBSTITUTE FOR THE RIGHT DIAGNOSIS.
The corners of Angelica's mouth twitched downward. The glib nature of this person was getting more obvious as his pain subsided. She was already irritated from being confused over his (self-proclaimed) "lack of quirk", so this was doing him no favors in her eyes. "My Quirk," she answered briefly, her eyes scanning over his newly healed leg, "It heals those who consume the candies. No, you cannot have any. I am only allowed to use them on my internship, or at the school. They cannot be sold." She paused, glancing back at the small jar of them on the side table. "That will change once I have my license. And no, I do not require any beta testers."
There was a moment, a split moment, where Angelica felt the air leave her lungs. Her fingers tightened on the pager.
Niso?
That was the name of a villain. A quite high-ranking villain. There was absolutely no way that a villain would outright say their name in front of two hero students, in a crowded building, when still injured to some degree. That would be insane. It would be stupid. But villains were insane, and more than a few were also, likely, stupid on top of that.
But the moment passed. Gottschalk. That sounded German. And he didn't look entirely Japanese either. Half, possibly, or even less. The name Niso could also be a language other than Japanese in origin...Hebrew, perhaps. It would, indeed, have been a most awful coincidence. Angelica exhaled.
She was not the sort to be paranoid. He had an explanation, he had a job with a hero, he had been irritating but otherwise nonthreatening. Still, her steely blue eyes stared at him for a moment longer. The villain known as Niso was not a subject of her research, and she didn't know nearly enough about villains in general to connect any dots. They had never been her focus. Medicine had been. She wasn't going to ever be a crime fighting hero on the streets. Now she felt like a fool.
She would have to fix that. Tonight.
"I am afraid I only know the criminal that you share your namesake with. Quite unfortunate." Angelica quickly clicked through the pager, and at that point Honey spoke up behind her and Angelica turned to look at her rather than at Niso. "I am doing so right now. I only require them to deliver a muscle relaxant. If your patient is also in need of some, you should use your pager to request it," she pointed a finger at Honey's medical table, "It will need to be recorded separately. And you need the experience." More than I do.
Unable to really help herself, she peered over Honey at the gentlemen with the animal features, to his ankle and shoulder. "Would that be for righting his ankle, or his shoulder? Did you determine whether the ankle was dislocated, broken, or sprained? You do know the differences and how to tell them apart, yes?" She sighed very softly. If Honey couldn't even remember how to first address and interact with a patient, she wasn't sure the scatterbrained squirrel would know that. But maybe Honey would pleasantly surprise Angelica.
She assumed she would not.
With a press of a button the pager made a little beep of confirmation, and then seconds later a green light lit up on it as the recipient responded positively. "That will be arriving shortly. Mr. Gottschalk. The candy should have dulled your pain. On a more pleasant note, the reason I asked about your status as quirkless is that your body does not heal normally. In a positive way, to clarify. With the amount of blood you have lost, from the appearance of your clothing, you should have gone into shock and died about...fifty-seven minutes ago. I suggest you reconsider your 'quirkless' status. Even a minor healing Quirk can have fascinating capabilities."
There was a shine in her eyes that may have been the light catching her glasses in a slightly menacing way, not helped by the little smile she was showing. "If that is the case then I would be very interested to hear more about it. It may be a given in the medical field, but I find healing and regenerative Quirks very interesting. Especially the various methods the body heals itself through Quirks. I could go on for hours on my many theories and hypotheses of how my candies work." Ah, she was half-way to a rant again. They had time to kill though before the muscle relaxant arrived. It would be fine.

Niso’s brow lifted with some curiosity as she spoke about her quirk. Her candies had healing properties hm? Well wasn’t that a neat little trick. When he’d seen healers in the past they tended to have some odd aura or some weird pollen in the air or something, or a gas. But sweets? He briefly wondered what that must take like before realizing he’d literally ate one a second ago and it hadn’t been all too bad… huh. He was almost annoyed she wasn’t able to sell them yet, having things like that on hand on top of his own healing factor could be real useful… maybe she’d try and make a mint and sell them publically when she becomes a pro. Maybe a certain agent could tempt her to do so if ‘Niso Gottschalk’ was still in business by then.
“Well I think I do alright without needing to be a lab rat. As accident prone as I can be I think you’re good keeping those candies to the heroes who need them. I imagine a fair few of those students need a handful of those things daily if the training is anything like what I’ve heard from Hellhound.~”
Niso’s eyes lowered to her hand as she seemed to lock up a bit at the mention of his name… he physically had to resist the urge to smile. He kinda liked how obvious his name was, the hiding in plain sight aspect of it… especially because it let people still have their suspicions they had no easy way to confirm.~ He managed to keep his face neutral however, if anything faking some concern for her moment of hesitation that came with it.
As she dealt with Honey Niso noticed that she didn’t seem to have much patience for the girl, she seemed to respond pretty quickly and without a chipper, eagerness to help like she’d seen a lot of UA kids try to throw on. He kinda liked her if he was honest. A bit…stuck up feeling, perhaps, but she didn’t have time to waste ‘playing’ hero, she was actually just getting on with the work. He could almost appreciate that on some level, chuckling quietly as he teasingly commented. “You just can’t get the staff these days huh?” Even seemed to needle her with a mini bombardment of questions, god this girl was quite fun in a stiff as fuck way!~
“A quirk huh? Heh… well maybe I’m just lucky. I mean not THAT lucky. Trust me I’ve had myself checked like 3 times. I’d love to have a quirk but I’m pretty sure they don’t develop this late.” He lied through his teeth with a bit of chipperness. He used to be the guy who didn’t lie, sure, but that was a hard act to stick to. Now he just let it flow when he could, and times like this a few good lies seemed fine to spread. “Still who knows, maybe I’ll arrange a 4th check once everything’s calmed down… doubt I can apply to be a hero this late in life but ya never know huh?” He teased a little with a seemingly warm smile, leaning back on his good arm. “Like I said… probably just lucky.~”
He gave a soft nod and added. “But hey, if it turns out I finally developed one, I’ll let you know. UA kid so… I should be able to get hellhound to pass on a message or something no problem.” He wondered if she had the mind to run experiments on him or something… the temptation for his alter ego to get a quirk was there, if only so a goodie two shoes hero like her might help him learn more about his limits. A thought for another day perhaps.
