You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “Aw, come on, it was just a couple of chairs and a table…!” Groaning and complaining as she found herself in the grasp of a pair of figures who were at least twice her size in all aspects of their anatomy, or at least most of them, Nikki Nakajima complained as she found herself being quite literally manhandled out of yet another reputable establishment in Tokyo, though one had to note that despite her protests her effort to resist the process was somewhat restrained. “They started in anyway, I was doing you a favour!” Perhaps getting a bit soft in her old age given the fact that she wasn’t throwing her fists around, or at least not so anymore given the nature of her story, and maintained her fleshy rather than ferric visage, the dark dish squirmed and strained against their towing motion but most assuredly did not do everything she was capable of to deny their effort to eject her, which would prove ultimately successful when she was shoved out a side door that slammed rather firmly behind her a moment later. Jeez, another fine fucking place I can’t show my face in for a bit…! The pride of the pouting pugilist bruised if nothing else by the battle that she had been through, Miss Nakajima found herself regretting her tendency to let her temper get the better of her when someone spat a crude line at her and she had replied in a more physical sense than with well-placed verbosity, and now found herself out in the open air without a drink in her hand but with plenty of sobriety to blight her. Not gonna have any decent ones left at this rate? That simply not doing at all really, it felt like she was getting thrown out of bars and the occasional gym a little bit too often of late and that was sure to interfere with how she liked to spend her free time, the sable siren sagged her shoulders as she stuffed her hands into the jeans she was wearing as she stomped away from her point of ejection, feeling far too sober and far too horny for her own liking really, and with nowhere to vent or satisfy that frustration within the vicinity. However, if she thought that her night was bad now, that had nothing on what was about to happen. “W-Whoa!” Marching away from the newest bar to find her on their banned list but not getting all that far until she found a fresh body that was just loving the idea of getting up close and personal with her like those bouncers had done, having been walking with her head down and grumbling to herself in irritation Nikki had not really noticed the stampede of folks that had been rushing past the end of the alley she had been exiting until it was too late, and suddenly found her fine form being rammed rather rudely by a stodgy looking fool in a suit who seemed to be in something of a rush. “Yeah, you better run, jackass!” A tough young woman but the unexpected assault enough to knock her and the kamikaze clod over, as the bloated bloke scrambled off her and then began to run once he had had returned to his feet, for a moment the steely siren assumed he was sprinting away from his responsibilities toward her for knocking her down, and was far too shy to offer an apology to boot so she called after him in an angry fashion, but was quickly given a reason to reconsider her opinion. Wait… Looking toward the lout that had lurched onto her and it quickly becoming apparent to the black beauty that he was not the only one in the midst of a terror stricken bout of fleeing, after shaking her head and taking a breath Miss Nakajima pushed herself back up off the ground and looked around herself, and noticed that it looked like everyone around her was running in the same direction. The hell is going on here…? Folk of all descriptions putting one front of the other in a panicked state like they were running away from Godzilla or something, the metal minx was largely mystified by what was occurring and struggled to grasp the reality of her situation as she stumbled right into the riots that a recent prison break had created cluelessly, but certainly far from helplessly… |

He was like a cat. He yawned and leaned with his chin on his hand and stared at the people down below. He found a plaza where he spied people. He did not pay too much attention to everything, just having his eyes and ears open if something would go bad and so on. He wasn't sure if this was definitely his day if this was what he wanted? The thing was that he never sat still, that he never did what they would consider the greater good. He wasn't sure what he should do, how could people think about putting others first? What about his own life? What about a lot of things? Akiva was so uncertain about a lot of things and he just stood there or in this case, he lay above on a roof and watched. God, this was ridiculous. He was so stupid, he groaned and turned onto his back and stared at the sky. Dark and yet illuminated by the lights of the city. He should go home, there was so much to consider and he wanted to stop his bad thoughts. He rubbed his knuckles together, the sixteen lines were a reminder every day. He thought it would be good, he thought it would be over thanks to that, but it wasn't. It was anything but. He felt it, sometimes, running through his veins, attacking his mind as if he was going crazy and he did not get it. What did it mean and what was it to him? Akiva did not want to ask such philosophical questions. He just did not want it to be an issue. He thought he heard some grunting and some thing but he did not get up yet.
Why would he? Why would he want to get up and help those stupid people who had not given a damn about him? Who tortured his mother? Who let his grandparents be killed without any justice? But he was the villain if it came to that point and he couldn't stand it. The indirect swaying of decisions, it was something so stupid. Wha tmore could he think of it, he just shut up, he had to tell himself to shut up and not think too much about it. It did not change anything, it did not change the past nor did it change what was already happening. A loud noise came, he heard static and he was just unsure what more was going on and he just looked up, heaving himself up and sitting back up again. Staring at the lights just outside the city. It was like something came rushing over him, something so big, so ridiculous he did not get it. He would just not know what to do, at this point. He better just join the fiasco. He got up on his two legs, looked down at how far the jump was and just jumped. And the noises were so much louder, sirens, screams? Terror on some faces and he looked around and took a few hesitant steps forward.
Right, okay well if he wanted to fight, he could do it for the right cause right? He moved his way forward, zigzagging his way through the people and moving forward. Then he spotted someone he had known before, Nikki. "There is something going on further down the city." He said when he caught up with her, "I think it's the prison considering the lights that were on." But what they could do this instant? What should he expect of himself and of the people here? He got lost in this and maybe Nikki could help him out more.

Today was a good day! Lyra was actually lucky enough to have spent the day with her parents who decided to fly out from Greece to visit. She truly loved spending time with her family and when they showed up at her door she was ecstatic, to say the least. She spent the entire day with them touring the city and showing them all the places she frequented. There was a much larger quirk population here than back home and so her parents were caught off guard a bit with how many people with mutation types were just walking around doing their usual routine.[break][break]
As night was almost upon them Lyra said her goodbyes for the day since her parents were staying elsewhere as her own apartment wasn't meant for more than one person aside from the occasional overnight guest. As she navigated her way back home she couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. Not just because she was walking alone at night time but mainly because she had a gut feeling something was going on around here. The lights in the area were off and even though it wasn't that late the streets were mostly clear. She decided to take out her phone to see if there was any news information out there. Almost immediately she pulled up live news coverage as helicopters and news reporters were giving a debriefing on the situation. As soon as she heard the words 'Prison Break' she was already taking off in a sprint.[break][break]
Since she had been with her family all day she didn't have her costume on her and from what the reports said the direction of the breakout was the opposite way to her apartment so she figured that wrapping her scarf around her face would be enough...or at the very least would help a little bit. As she made her way towards the scene she found herself fighting the waves of people fleeing the area. She eventually decided that since she was in full vigilante mode anyway she might as well fly over the crowd and took off moving in the direction of the disruption. As she made her way she was caught off guard as she saw a familiar face. "Heeeeeey! Akiva!" she called out as she landed close to him "I heard there was a prison break? I came to help and erm.." she gestured towards Nikki while trying to not be rude "Who's your friend here?"

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “Whoa, just when I thought my night couldn’t get any worse, then you show up, huh?” Smirking and offering an immediate sense of sass to the young man who appeared at her side but that nothing less than he would likely expect from the ebony enchantress, Miss Nakajima was left with her scarlet stare running over the fine form of her friend with the occasional benefit and licked her lips for a second, enjoying his sudden appearance for the brief moment that she could before someone else seemed to explode onto the scene in a sugar and spice and everything nice fashion. Who the hell is this? Crimson colour seeming to abound as a redhead who admittedly was rocking quite the pleasing number of assets appeared seemingly along with Akiva and seemed to show an instant sense of familiarity with him, the sable siren eyed the second sudden entrant onto the scene with her brow raised and sized her up, before smirking and thumping the sole male between the three in the arm playfully as she seemed to guess what was going on between them. “Oh damn, you brought your girlfriend with you as well?” The good looks of the girl and her apparent tendency to follow the panther-like pugilist to Nikki seeming to say that they had some kind of connection carnal or otherwise, even with the panic going on around her the black beauty couldn’t help but take a moment to enjoy the appearance of this fresh face, and lifted her hand to her chin in blissful inattentiveness to the chaos as she did so. “She’s kind of a hottie ain’t she, ya lucky bastard?!” Making no attempt to hide the desire in her stare as she did so either, as the dark dish hummed and gave those ‘vital statistics’ another once over she gave a broad grin and cocked her head, walking around the girl and even going so far as to slap at her ass playfully once she voiced her approval of the coupling she saw and then turned her attention toward the danger that waited for them. “Now, if you two love birds don’t mind I just got thrown out of a bar way before I got my drunk on properly, so…” Shrugging as she decided that a prison break was the perfect place to vent the various frustrations she was feeling right now, the metal minx swayed her hips from side to side in a somewhat sensual fashion as she strutted toward the place that everyone seemed to be coming from, and lifted her hands together as she did so. Really making sure to give those knuckles of hers a good, firm crack as she eyed up the carnage that was occurring in the distance and made up her mind to decide what she should address first, one she was done so the bawdy battler beamed with excitement and flicked her feet off the floor to run forward, and made a beeline for a couple of guys who seemed to be trying to run down a teenage girl coming in the opposite direction. “Mama’s gonna need a few punching bags~” Never the type to consider herself to be particularly gallant but perhaps that opinion skewed slightly by the dirty deeds that the dark delight had been through in her life and some might even saying totally wrong given how the first thing that Miss Nakajima did was run to the aid of a damsel in distress, the Iron Maiden broke into a sprint and sped past the frightened looking femme with fire in her eyes, and a moment later one might note another change in her appearance. All of a sudden the flesh of her form transitioning to something with more of a ferric kind of feature, the feisty fox was equal parts angel and devil as she lunged forward to protect this poor fool and launched a lance-like fist forward to break the nose of the first fool, and then perhaps something more than that given how much ‘spice’ she added to her hit as well. |

"I know right, such a rough night it will be." He said with a smirk to Nikki, leaning against the wall now that he got her attention, and she seemed to ignore the prison idea. Well, maybe that was Nikki. He has not met her well enough but it would just be an interesting discussion for sure. But he knew her sass and he could not deny how much he liked it. But that is exactly the right moment that it went wrong as he heard his name and turned his attention the pretty red head that showed up at his side. Yea... if he would talk now it would come out as a high squeak so he simply nodded at her prison break comment and turned to look at Nikki. He had first not missed that Nikki licked her lips when looking at him, heck he wasn't going to deny that either but looking Lyra up and down made him feel like a meek little lam, god how was he going to be a man in this situation when surrounded by the purest, prettiest distractions. Worst thing that happened was that Lyra asked who was Nikki and Nikki making the comment about his girlfriend... eh... say something.
"Lyra, this is Nikki. Nikki this is Lyra." She is not my girlfriend, I wish, but let me just see how Lyra would react... that's what he thought but what would Nikki think of that. Goddamn, this was a headache situation and he did not like it! Now he was more on line with Nikki on one occasion that is that he did not give a damn yet about civilians and doing his vigilante job for the greater good. Now don't get him wrong, he was trying but it did not go easy. That's why he wanted to do something about the prison breakout in general and that's what he had in common with Lyra. He nodded to Nikki and her misadventures at the bar and watched her run off. "She is okay, I believe she is a vigilante too, we should follow. I am sorry I eh, have no idea where to start, but let's at least get the civilians out of trouble, right?" He turned to Lyra while Nikki had ran off, before he turned and made sure his feet would be in line with his panther form and he could run off, though he couldn't help but keep an eye out for Lyra to see if she would be able to keep up with him.

It seemed by the look that Akiva gave Nikki and the one that she gave in return that they did in fact know each other. Lyra flashed Nikki a genuine smile and bowed "Nice to meet you! I'm Lyra A-.." her greeting was cut short when Nikki implied that she was Akiva's girlfriend which almost immediately turned her a bright red as she struggled to regain composure. "G-G-Girlfriend?!?" her thoughts were moving a million miles a minute "Does Akiva think we're a couple? Does he want us to be a couple? I-I haven't even thought about that...us together?!?" all these thoughts swirling in were interrupted by a firm slap on the butt by Nikki as she walked by "Eep!" Lyra almost fell over as she was not anticipating such a strong showing from someone she had just met. She was even more caught off guard by being called a hottie and accidentally began to release a wave of heat. [break][break]
Nikki having gone on ahead left them both in an awkward situation. Lyra prayed that Akiva would say something and even more secretly hoped that he would comment on the idea of what he thought they were in relation to each other. Instead, he changed the subject and mentioned that they should follow and assist in getting people out of harm's way. "Uhm right!" Lyra cheered up as the idea of putting her powers to good use immediately pushed any idea of romance out of her head. She watched as Akiva shifted into his panther form and ran off which made her take off to the air as she followed as close as she could. He was definitely faster than her but at least he was kind enough to adjust his speed so she wouldn't fall too far behind. [break][break]

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “You better get outta here, girlfriend!” Far from the type who would do something so considerate as slow their pace enough to allow someone who wasn’t so zippy to keep up with her or even pay enough attention to note the fact that the fair femme could not, instead the ferric fox was knee deep in action, and loving that fact as she rung the bell of a beast and then bellowed for the beauty that he had been chasing to make her escape. Not even for a single second even casting a look over her shoulder to note that the love birds had rushed into battle to support her, instead Nikki was doing what she did best as she launched her iron knuckles around her with bone crunching efficiency and showed a bit of malice as she slammed her heel between the legs of the lugs that had pursued the lass once they had been grounded, and perhaps because of her focus and ferocity very nearly made a mistake a moment later. “W-Whoa!” A fighting machine who was perhaps happiest when she was alone against a gang because that meant that she could just rein out blows with little discretion or discrimination, because Miss Nakajima did not entirely expect either of the duo to follow her the moment she sensed someone coming close she automatically went into attack mode on proximity alert, and had to slam the brakes on pretty hard when she recognised the face of a friend about to collide with her foot. “Hahaha, we keep running into each other like this, huh?” Coming close to kicking Akiva’s head clean off as she responded impulsively but just about managing to curb her intent a moment before she hit him with one of the biggest branches from the ugly tree there was, the heated hellion grinned with her heel in the air and joked about the strange circumstance of their first meeting, and licked her lips as she did so in a saucy manner that betrayed a little of her own disappointment at finding him out and about with a date. After all, she did get so very ‘warmed up’ by a good fight, and could make use of a rogue like this to help her get over that later on. “OOOUUFFF!” Not given all that much time to dwell on that latter fact given their situation, however, the mere moments of distraction that her need to break and desire to flirt with this finely formed figure seemed to afford the problems around them the chance to take advantage of her position for their own aims, and Nikki gave a groaning grunt as it felt like she was blindsided by a truck as a result. Something large and heavy seeming to crash into her like a speeding semi and sending the steely siren rolling across the ground, all too quickly the usual mountain of a man that one found in these situations seemed to flash into her gaze, and threaten the wonder couple with the meaty menace he brought with him as the dark dish found herself dazed on the pavement… |

He still felt awkward. Really awkward, the fact that she mentioned Lyra as his girlfriend, goddammit Nikki. As well as how annoyed or maybe jealous he felt as she hit Lyra on her butt... seriously... what? He couldn't get the idea out of his head, tried to look over his shoulder that she was coming along and just grumbled at Nikki for telling Lyra to go. "It's fine come on." He made a little faster sprint before had to duck and move out of Nikki's way. He changed back in human form, holding his hands and feet as black claws and looked at Nikki with his blue eyes, "Yea we got to stop doing that don't we?" But he noticed, maybe he shouldn't look at her lips or think about their first meeting or the other words Nikki kept saying. Seriously, it was never-ending in his mind. Focus, and he quickly looked over his shoulder to Lyra again before he heard a loud oof from Nikki, which was definitely a surprise and looking at the tall person in front of him.
Great. Just absolutely peachy.
He was rather sure that Nikki was stronger than him and he now was the first to be there, his skin changed, his clothes changed back. He should have thought about it before, he just didn't like talking as a human while he looked like a panther, it felt not normal. It gave him this nasty taste in his mouth but now he simply opened his mouth, not making a sound though, but baring his feline teeth, his sharp ones. He wasn't going to wait till this man would punch him in the gut as he did with Nikki, no he was going to do what he could. But not falling back on four legs was maybe a surprise for the criminal, he could also remain standing upright and that made him lower himself, smacking his elbow into the stomach of the stranger. God, he hated people like this, it reminded him too much of who he was and what he could fall back on. It was his past and if he didn't work hard enough it might be still his future. He wouldn't stop though, he would slam his paw, claw stretched and all towards the attacker's knee, to hook it behind and pull him forward. This was not going to be easy, but the heck was going on if it was really the prison that was breaking down, what should be considered their priority?

A flash of annoyance overtook Lyra as Nikki seemed to delegate her as someone who wasn't able to hold her own. The nerve! Certainly, she must have gathered that if she knew Akiva that she was also in this line of work! She may not have been the most battle-ready, but she could hold her own in a fight if she needed to. Perhaps it was her not wanting to fall behind that gave her a burst of adrenaline in order to catch up to the rest of them.[break][break]
She hovered behind the group as an assailant stood in their way that managed to knock Nikki off her feet. With Akiva wasting, no time going on the offensive Lyra took it upon herself to do what she could to help her friend. She took a deep breath and flew up higher than the group as she reached into her pocket and took out her collapsible spear and flew down towards Akiva using her momentum to strike the man in the head. [break][break]
Landing gracefully next to the two and took a defensive stance "I'm not as weak as you think!" she huffed in Nikki's direction as she prepared for the inevitable retaliation by the burly man. She wasn't sure if this would be enough to take him out of commission but it was a start.

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “Mother fu-!” Certainly none too impressed to find herself flattened by that fool, Miss Nakajima lashed out verbally for a moment as she shook her head and readied herself for the next attack of the heavy, and yet was cut off when one than another of the dynamic duo launched themselves into battle to protect her. “W-Wow, the power couple with the assist, eh?” Not so used to having this so called thing known as ‘back up’ in a fight and as such somewhat stunned when both Akiva and Lyra seemed to intervene on her behalf and for all intents and purposes protect her oh so sweet behind from trouble, though the dark dish barked up with her usual level of cheek the stumble in her words and the colour in her cheeks offered an implication that despite the verbage she appreciated their efforts, and she was also damn sure not about to let them go to waste either. “Don’t you know…” Drawing her fist back without even returning fully to her feet and exploiting the distraction that the combat coupling offered her to send it shooting straight for a spot that was sure to be rather sensitive, even with her ass still planted on the ground Nikki knew that she packed enough power to leave this fool stunned and probably speaking an octave or two higher as she planted her paw in the so called ‘sweetness’ between his lower limbs, and felt a measure of revenge for doing so. It was nice to hear him groan like that, after all. “How to act around a lady?!” Not done with that act however and showing the full degree of force that her quirk could offer up as she pushed her feet beneath her and grabbed the body of the brute at the same time, rage and the strength of steel helped our heated heroine to lift a man that was several times her size clear above her head for a second or two, allowing him to sense his fate before she imparted it, but only for a moment. “At least have the balls to face me head on next time, bud!” Rather unceremoniously opting to slam the skull of the scumbag hard into the ground the very second he had a chance to cry out, the metal minx grinned as she planted his face in the floor like she was trying to drive a post for a fence and then dumped his sorry carcass onto the ground, but hadn’t forgotten about the help she had received there for a second. Or the cry of the little biscuit who had intervened on her behalf either. “Hahahah, got a bit of fight about ya, huh?” Letting out a chuckle as she dusted her clothes off and then cocking her head toward the crimson combatant with a smug grin, while Nikki’s words were laced with her usual degree of attitude the fact that she took a moment to acknowledge even an ounce of this scarlet stranger’s abilities was a sure sign of her appreciation for this plucky amazon, as was what she did next as well. “Careful though girl, scrappy redheads are totally my type~” Slapping her hand on the shoulder of her new friend and showing a unguarded sense of desire as she did so, even though the supposed boyfriend of this fire-haired fox was only a matter of feet away the ferric femme couldn’t help but offer her a flirty note as she leaned into the woman’s ear, and then rapped that rump once more before she set out to find a little more trouble to deal with… |

Nikki's sassiness and her flirting definitely put him on edge and the panther remained standing upright on two feet and just looked away. Silly, it was stupid and he nodded at Lyra. He knew what she was capab- wait a second, that was exactly what he had seen happening in Tokyo when Lyra left, right after giving her phone number and he turned to look at her and crossed his arms. "So.. wait a second, you are not surprised I am doing this but I should be surprised that you do?" But well, no, nevermind he shouldn't make a big deal out of it today. He should focus but the focus was easily distracted and when he threw a short look at Nikki, he noticed her smack and turned away while shuddering, man even if this guy was a criminal, he was sure he didn't want anyone to have that happening in front of his face, yea no, he wasn't an empath thank god. She looked more at Lyra, "Right, not the time to ask, I know."
So he should focus on what was going on, there were a lot of people now that he tried to pay attention to everything and everyone but boy that was a bad idea. "Oi." He told Nikki and glared at her as she said something flirty to Lyra but he did not want to share. Nor did he know exactly what to say to Lyra at all and even moved his panther paw behind his head and just look very dumb. "Let's just finish-" He couldn't finish his sentence when he heard a scream and turned his attention, his ears were perked up. He quickly moved there, well at least today he got his focus on, and he wasn't doing stupid.
That's when he bumped into a group that looked like a gang working their way forward in an alley with a dead end and two... great... police officers. "Oh yo man, this is going to be iconic and ironic." And that's when the cat stepped in.

"P-Power couple!?" Lyra managed to stammer out as she got red in the face. Unable to tell if it was the embarrassment of being so obvious with her slight crush or just because Nikki got on her nerves she retorted "Don't be so presumptuous! You don't even know me!" as she collapsed her spear having dealt with the main threat for the time being.[break][break]
When Akiva questioned her she held up her hands frantically waving them dismissively "No no no! I meant like you're more um...built for this than I am?" she looked towards the ground as a deep red washed over her face, but luckily for her a distraction popped up which had Akiva heading off in a different direction.[break][break]
"His senses are good. We should follow!" she said as she took off flying behind him momentarily forgetting her irritation at Nikki due to the new threat. Due to getting a birds-eye view she saw the police officers and immediately flew over the gang headed towards them landing in front of the officers "Halt! This part of the city is under the protection of Sunstar!" she held out a hand to stop their advance even though they...kept going. Jeez hopefully Nikki and Akiva would help her out!

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “Ahahahaha, you guys are just precious, aren’t ya~?” Licking her lips and grinning as the so called ‘power couple’ seemed to spark up in feverish protest at her flirtatious jibes, Miss Nakajima couldn’t help but delight in the delectable delicacy that was both the slightly childish reaction that Lyra offered and the sudden discomfort that the man with whom she was more familiar showed, the latter of which was most intriguing. “This guy sure must be sweet on you, doll face, I’ve never seen him moon over a girl like this before…” Akiva that bit more cool and collected than his high spirited little piece of fluff, he had been somewhat suave in the spicy encounter he had shared with the steely siren, and the day and night difference in attitude that the feline fella now showed was really rather fascinating, and something she wished to provoke more of. “No wonder I wanna get in the middle of that, huh~?” Sloping that bit closer to the gentleman than the lady in the moment of peace they were afforded and grinning at him as she showed off an unrestrained sense of appeal in either character, whilst Nikki had focused on the new face that little bit more thus far from a simple sense of amusement at tasting that new ‘flavour’, ultimately the black beauty was brazen enough to admit that she could easily swing either way between them but ultimately had a different option in mind should things continue to heat up among the three of them. There was no real reason to leave someone out in the cold, after all. “Oh, here we go again, I guess…?” The dark dish perhaps showing a hint of desensitization when yet another shrill sound seemed to beckon for the ear and the eye to be drawn toward it, while it seemed that the fiery haired femme was fast off the mark to respond to it Miss Nakajima showed a stark sense of contrast as she simply shrugged, and honestly found her heels dragging that little bit when she saw that it was the police who now needed their backup. “Oh damn, and she’s flying about like some kinda angel or something too~” Impressed at the very least when the flaming fox seemed to take to the skies or at the very least the slightly higher than the pavements and head toward the scene with gusto, as Lyra lurched toward the defence of the lawmen the ravishing raven felt far more reluctance to respond to the situation, and for a moment simply allowed herself a second or two to gape at the special skill of the so called ‘Sunstar’ as she cranked her neck from side to side and weighed up her options to move forward. “You know, I’ve been beaten up by cops for half my life, so can’t exactly say I’m thrilled to have to save those asses…” Certainly boasting a boatload of reasons to overlook the unfortunate officers given her overall experience and opinion of the so called defenders of the people and the peace and the justice and all that super sparkly kinda jazz, a more sadistic side to the sable slugger might have found a little bit of satisfaction in seeing the boys in blue get what was coming to them, but as she set off from the spot on which she had been standing at a reasonably nippy jog Nikki was eager to point out the fact that her intervention would be more on account of the people she was with than those who were currently in trouble. “Guess you guys’re just lucky I owe this red hot piece a favour for back there~” Slamming a nice firm ferric fist into the face of the first bad guys she saw and then shooting a slightly smug but also cold-eyed gaze toward the overwhelmed officers, in truth she was far more interested in replaying her debts toward and impressing the battle couple than helping a group she would probably harbour no small degree of resentment toward for as long as she lived, but ultimately a fight was a fight and that was one of the few things she did well, and was going to enjoy whilst she did so… |

How hard was it to listen to "You don't even know me"? Very. God, why was his ego so big and would he think she was just blushing because she liked him... silly Akiva. She probably thought he had a thing for Lilith and surely Lilith was pretty and all but she was like a sister to him, he did not want to think too much about it or make matters worse and just decided to shut up. She should go away and he wasn't sure what to say but she mentioned something else and he turned to look back at her, obviously, the look on his face wasn't all too happy but he was not entirely aware of it himself. He was sure that she liked him but now he wasn't anymore and it was slightly disappointing... okay very disappointing. He wasn't sure the rest of the conversation was useful, so it was her and he built better, it was not the time to ask though. She said so and she agreed and he turned away from Lyra to not ask and just hoped Nikki would not pester him about it at this point, he did not feel like that.
As she came by his side, he shortly watched Nikki and said nothing and continued to move. He followed Nikki's eyes and looked at Lyra, Sunstar. He nodded, "Would probably look nicer than a big black panther or metal woman, don't you think?" But he was obviously joking because this wasn't what ruined his mood so he shouldn't ruin Nikki's. He made a grump but chuckle noise because of her comment. He did not disagree with her, as a previous villain he had no use of cops but he tried to do his best to become nicer and who said it were these police officers so he wasn't going to stay behind and do not help them. This was why he signed up for vigilante work and thus he jumped at the gang and would just do what he could do, distract them, bring them in front of Nikki's fist and would go around it and just smirked his panther grin and would jump onto one of the small gang and slash at his clothes and weapon. He wasn't sure if he was made to be the good guy but he would darn harsh try and especially when Lyra was around, he should show his best side.

Perhaps because she was feeling a little bit of adrenaline rush from having to deal with Nikki and her brash attitude while also trying to establish that she wasn't going to take a backseat to her especially in front of Akiva who she...well she wasn't exactly sure yet what she wanted or needed from him but she did like seeing him as much as she did.[break][break]
With the other two springing into action, Lyra couldn't help but feel like they had managed to somewhat steal her thunder as the duo easily dealt with the group of thugs. Lyra decided perhaps it would be best to work on her reputation if she ever wanted to be seen as more heroic than not. With her scarf pulled up to mask her identity she helped the cops to their feet and gave them a small smile "We can take it from here guys! Just stay safe" as the cops regrouped and went to go deal with the existing crisis.[break][break]
As one of the perps began to flee in the chaos Nikki and Akiva were causing Lyra took it upon herself to capture the last one. With an explosive burst of energy, she took off from the ground and soared over the group before she landed squarely on the back of the escapee pinning him to the ground. "You're under arrest! Well...when the cops get to you!" she said sternly trying to make up for her earlier misstep.
