Marcie had to admit there was a small thrill in her from how impressed he seemed to be, or perhaps just staggered by the nature of her quirk, disintegrating the mask she’d made a moment ago so he wasn’t left talking to himself and leaning back comfortably in her seat as he made his assumptions as to it’s nature. “Quite right.~ So long as I have a strong base to work from I can practically do anything. I can cross my halo over a single seat chair and turn it into a couch potentially, or change the colour of a car. Of course, I don’t need to scan EVERYTHING, I can make disguises or changes from my imagination, but for the finer, specific details, scanning someone definitely helps. I don’t think I’d ever be able to make a firm disguise of a different person without scanning them. I’d miss too many fine details.” She shot across a wink and a smirk again. “Glad you’re impressed though.~”
She sometimes worried her quirk couldn’t compete with some flashy brutes as potent as she thought it could be… so hearing a bit of praise like this was DEFINITELY pleasant.~
She listened to his explanation of his quirk, her mind locking into the idea that it copied genetic information and muscle memory… oh… oh that could be almost destructively helpful. She wondered if it was just broader strokes or if… touching a safe only one person ever used would teach him the combination. She suppressed such a thought for no, disguising her curiosity with another question. “Can you copy quirks?” She asked with a tip of her head, wondering if his genetic copying ran so deep. “I mean even if you can’t… to not just appear as someone but… to know them… My my. In the wrong hands such a quirk…” She simply trailed off with a chuckle, the possibilities flittering through her mind.
She smirked a little as he started seeming to look for an excuse to go, nodding along and unlocking the car doors for him without a fuss. “Hang on.” She did chime however, rooting about in the glove box, leaning over him in the process without a thought and retrieving a scrap of paper she’d left in there rather haphazardly. It’d do.~ She twirled it in her fingers, her gold ring forming over it, the raggedy scrapped laminated and given a more perfect square shape. Her name, contact information, and an address she worked out of most of the time.
“Keep that nice and close… I know it can be hard balancing using your gifts and playing it safe so… call me if you ever need a helping hand… or heck. Another joyride. I won’t deny it was fun.~”
