“You little f-GAGH!” As the giant lumbering ape tried to drag his face out of the tarmac he’d find it shoved in deeper against his will, his sharp teeth biting down through his own tongue, not severing the appendage but definitely managing to pierce through it with relative ease, his unprepared face subjected to getting chunks of tarmac directly into his eye, wincing in pain as chunks of the rough, gravely substance pierced his eyeball, yelping out through his bitten tongue and struggling to push himself up again without shaking. Blood dripped from his lips from the damage to his tongue, and one of his eyeballs sizzed as the red energy that filled it was now evaporating and boiling the blood trying to fill the same eye. He still had one good one at least. “I don’t know… where you kids think you stand on the ladder… but I can assure you ya ain’t half as high as me!” He pounded his fists and shoved himself back up to his feet, his right eye burning as he pulled his arms back and let out a bellowing roar, only to feel himself drowned out by the deafening screech of the creature before him, his hazed vision locking onto the new, smaller dragon before him.
“Heh…heheheh! See! Ya can’t even hold your size for long! This the new trick!? Just getting louder! Don’t make me fucking laugh you pathetic little-!” Before he could close the distance himself, deliver a strike as he intended, Jack was right up in his face, and before he knew it darkness filled his other eye, pain soon to follow, hands clasping around his face and screeching out more in pain than rage and fury, his body thrashing about wildly as the pain flowed from his skull and down his spine, a free hand swinging about wildly, unable to find a target as Jack reached one of the buildings. One eye entirely blind, another filled with blood, it’s vision hazed. He couldn’t hope to find that pesky ant that was Yuuto, practically blind to him… and the plasma arcing around the dragon above him made it hard to discern which part of the colored blur was actually something he’d be able to hit, and what was the mixed mash up of energies.
he let out a heavy… pained breath… grit his teeth, and lost all sense of wit and prideful ‘charm’. This was no longer a king of beasts. It was an unruly ape clinging to a shattered throne.
“Break me… you’ll break me… hahahaha…hahahaha…!” Mist oozed from the beasts maw… he was done making a show of this…!
“GrrrraaaAAAAAAGHHHH!!!!”
His head reared up, and with no build up or warning, he burst out the last of his energy towards the vague blur he’d determined was his opponent, obliterating the top chunk of the building he stood on (thankfully evacuated), and as the beam continued to fire, it was clear the monkey was slowly growing smaller, deflating with each pulse of his heart beat.
