It was the weekend, a fine, sunny Sunday if she asked so herself, but Rowan was indoors. Not only would she turn quite red in the sunlight when she was outside, but she also had a lot of homework to do. Not really the homework that the school had provided her but just everything all at once. She had stacked her papers on the left that were related to why she was sitting in this room and papers on the right and a little bit in front of her was another research she was doing. It was rather intriguing to see her eagerly work like this and she already forgot her cup of tea. But right now she was leaning in her chair, almost dropped out of it as she slumped down and looked out of the window of the little empty office. Rowan was in Tokyo today working on her economy homework and her plans, she was still waiting for her father to come and show up and have some advice for her but right now she knew he was busy. He had even taken the time to text her and apologize, she liked how this was going between them. Even if they barely saw each other he texted her more often and she felt a little more like she belonged and should be proud to carry the Sakamoto name and soon or well in a few years the business. However, right now the black-haired student was tired and she sighed. It was tempting to text Sean and tell her that she was bored and if he was up to something. But he was probably working or studying his own economics homework too considering they were following the same material. Rowan sighed again and went to drop herself a little more in the chair, no one to watch her anyway, the room was empty apart from her desk, some books on a coffee table in the left corner and her chair. They were renovating some of the rooms in the Wysteria Hotel in Tokyo, one of the three that were there and her father had offered for her to use it as a change of space from her room and U.A., just for once in a while. But now she wanted to do something else, the question was even what, there wasn't much that crossed her mind yet. She decided, however, to just text Miku and see if she was around, she could maybe help her in her research case. Hey, if you are in Tokyo or nearby would you want to meet up? I am "address" here and I have a few things I like to talk about, feel free to join me. I will order snacks! xoxo Now let's see if Miku really wanted to come, Rowan had no idea what she was doing most of the time in the weekends, but it sure would be nice to meet up again, now that they were in the same class, she also wanted to explain that she did not try to distance herself from Miku but that she also felt it would be bad to always want to team up, she was glad to be in a class where she hang out with people more, she liked Chim and Tetsu, it helped a lot this way. |

Miku was going on a walk. She had no clear destination in mind. It was just something so she can move and not sit still all day. She did not want to train or jog or anything to be in shape. Sometimes a relaxing walk was all one needed. No encounters with evil, just a taste of normality. Sometimes she missed being normal and average. So she appreciated a moment like this. A peaceful walk in the town. Miku mused that next time she goes with someone to walk in nature and breathe in the natures wonders. That might be expected due to her quirk, but Miku strongly feels and believes, even if her quirk was chocolate generation she would love nature.
What interrupted Miku from her thoughts was a ring ring from her phone signifying she had a text message. Miku looked and saw it was Rowan. Which made her smile.
She replied:
I am in Tokyo. Imma come as soon as possible. Gimme 10. On my way now
And with that Miku made her way to Rowans location. She put her phone away and walked. Miku was curious what Rowan wanted to talk about, but snacks were pretty alluring and tempting. Rowan knew Miku's kryptonite well |

When Miku would arrive to the hotel, she would definitely have to either text Rowan or ask the reception as the student upstairs had no idea where Miku was or how fast she would arrive. So she remained as a little stuck-up, upstairs. She did not think about her shy friend minding to ask to find Rowan, but that's because the fire quirker had not thought about it. She was still scratching and working on her economy homework when that idea popped in her mind and she hurried down the stairs to wait for her friend or either bump into her.
Eventually, they would meet up and Rowan invited her upstairs and to the little mini office that she had made for herself, though still very empty. "At least I have a second chair." She told her friend with a silly little laugh as she pushed the second chair to the opposite side of the desk and she went to sit back in the one she used before, with her back towards the window. She put her economy books aside and cleared the desk part between them. "Okay, let me order snacks first." And she ordered some sweet and savoury candy or snacks for the two of them before she would figure out how to bring up the topic. Even though she and Miku had made the comment about working together during the sports festival, things had changed and maybe indirectly Rowan had been more distant after their battle there because of it. She wasn't sure what to say.
"Are you okay?" Now they still did speak, heck they were in the same class finally and Rowan was vice president to Miku's class president. It was nice, and she did not have the feeling anything was definitely wrong between them but maybe they do have to talk about it, "Do we... do we still have to talk about the sports event or are we good?" She was actually sure that Miku would say they were fine, but that's why Rowan couldn't help but intensely look at Miku and hoping she wouldn't lie about it. She had done so before and Rowan had been quite grumpy about that.

Roughly 10 minutes later, Miku arrived at the hotel. She quickly grabbed her phone and texted Rowan that she was here. She thought it was better to directly let Rowan know that she was here, rather then let Rowan find out 2nd hand from someone else. No offence to the receptionist. But Rowan was her friend and she prefered if Rowan heard from Miku herself that she was here.
Eventually Rowan invited Miku upstairs to a mini office that belonged to Rowan. It was pretty much wow for Miku. It may not appear impressive, but the fact that Rowan had a mini office was a wow in itself. Miku smiled and chuckled "What an impressive chair it is", she then took her seat at the 2nd chair.
Rowan put the books aside and first thing was first. Snacks. "Yay!" Miku clapped at the mention of snacks. And her mouth would water at the sweets, luckily she wasnt an animal, so she kept her primal urges at check.
And then Rowan asked Miku if she was ok
"Hm? Yeah... Yeah I am. Whats up?" Miku asked curiously. Thats when Rowan said the Sports Event. Miku just shook her head and smiled "I told you back at the joust. We're all good. I mean yeah, its a bummer I lost. But thats normal to feel bummed a bit after you lost. Its kind of funny and ironic. I lost in a fight where I had the enviromental advantage. But then won against Chimera where I didnt have the enviromental advantage. It just shows you never know how a fight can go."
She then looked at Rowan
"What about you? How do you feel after our fight or your own fight. You know I was rooting for you"
Red got Miku angry. He was a douche through and through and thus she immediatelly cheered for Yojin, just so Red can lose.

It was that Rowan did not notice that Miku had texted give me 10, as in to say ten minutes later and she had just gone on with cleaning up her little desk and forgotten the time, but she got a ping on her phone and hurried downstairs to pick up her friend. She would just chat to her a little and bring her upstairs, joking about having her own mini office where she was studying at the moment. "Yea, it's the best place to study, zuzu distracts me at home." Her cat had this period where it want to either be on her lap, but with attention or simply dropped itself on her homework, it was a bit frustrating but what do you want to do about it. She smiled though when they walked in, "So dad offered to have me study here and so he can come in if I have questions about the hotel." It was silly studying how the hotel worked, how the economic stuff worked and so on, when you were studying to be a hero but Rowan wanted to be realistic, and be able to do something else than just being a hero. She smiled at her friend when she made a joke and she went to go and sit on her own, putting the books on the coffee table.
"That's how I managed to get you here on our day off." Rowan laughed when Miku yay'ed and clapped because of the snacks. "They will bring them soon." She said as she put her phone down and would just look at Miku and ask if she was okay. They had not talked much about everything so she asked. She nodded slowly when Miku explained. "I mean the fight between us felt mentally not really great, the fight against Red... I rather not think about it too much." She mumbled and looked away, "I mean I got kind of distracted too because I randomly decided to kiss Sean in between fights." Still not the best strategy but luckily it worked out for her, to be honest that was the most important matter at that point.
She sighed then opened the door to stall out the warm, cold, sweet and savoury snacks on the table. She took a cheese bite and put it in her mouth and went to sit again. "But that made me think in general, the whole sports festival pointed out I did control my quirk, which had been quite an issue for me last year but I am kind of looking towards the future, like I told you in England, I want to form a group, people you can trust, depend on and work with. Something to not worry about later on, for example I don't look forward to be in a fight and having to figure out who will be my healer or who will help me later on with broken items and so on. I thought about making this real- real group to work together with and you are on top of my list."

Miku nodded as Rowan explained how and why was she here at the office. She smiled "Thats nice" And the two talked more, the snacks made Miku happy, granted Miku would come even if Rowan didnt bribe her with snacks. Rowan laughed at Miku's more joyful reaction.
After that Rowan asked Miku if she was ok. Miku said that she was. Rowan said that the fight for them was bad mentally and Miku agreed
"Ugh yeah. I agree on both fronts. Im sad I didnt get to fight Red, I'd totally avenge you. Actually, if I ever get to fight him in a brawl or a tourney or anything. Imma give him the Fist of Sisterhood!" Miku said as she raised one fist a bit
The two didnt dwell on the fighty stuff much so they focused on the food and munchies which made Miku clap once again. She tried not to squee, but Rowan could still hear a bit of her excitement. Miku eagerly watched to see what munchies and food they had. What sweets. What will she dine.
She couldnt wait to eat, if she was an animal, she'd be drooling now. Miku looked at Rowan to see how she was doing

Rowan looked at the table, no matter how nice Miku's words were. She was sure had not done that bad, it was just the arena as well as her own mind. She would not forget the change in Reddarcc's eyes. But to be fair, who did you tell about Lady. She had disappeared and it was just something bad to talk about. People did not believe her after all or said she should not worry about it. Wherever she was, she wasn't here now and Rowan had grown stronger, she had already been able to defeat her once. The fact that she lost to Red, had to do with him being much more able to use his quirk in a good sense, no panicking and so on, for as far as Rowan knew. But also that she was so distracted, she wanted to look good, only to be knocked out so awkward, that it made matters worse. And she had not wanted to show her face to anyone for a good half an hour. That's why she only gave a thumbs up but said nothing more.
It seemed like her little pep talk was gone. Miku had not listened and only kept her eyes on the food. As she had put a cheese bite in her own mouth, she had gone talking, but it seemed Miku had just looked at the plate and had not get anything. Did she really have to say; help yourself? "Did you hear anything I said?" She asked a bit soft, because well how much fun it was to smack Red because of some called sisterhood, Rowan just explained she wanted that idea to be real, to form a real team. She had expected some more support and nice stuff. However, it was just silent and staring at food. "Anything on your mind you want to share before I continue?" She did not like this, her arrogance returned, she felt ignored. She wondered if Miku kept things from her again so they did not talk and that she was not listening now. To make sure she wouldn't make this go out of proportion, Rowan pushed another snack in her mouth, so she wouldn't be able to say more words that she would have to take back and so on. Nope, this was just distraction, they were tired, nothing was going wrong. Maybe she shouldn't have asked today, she should have fixed her economy homework.

Miku nodded "Of course. I just thought that since you were talking about the sports fest that we should get that out of the way. But yeah, I've been thinking about a group. Granted I doubt I would've formed anything. But I think you got it more figured out that me. A group where you know who's a fighter, healer, scouter. That sounds much better then what I was thinking about. But like... umm.. who would you get to group with?" she asked as she started to slowly take the snacks and nibble and munch on them. She didnt want to stuff herself as she was conversing with Rowan.
She didnt say much more, instead she fell silent as to hear what Rowan would say. But to also think and reflect herself. Hero teams to her were just cool team ups of coolness. Nothing legit. She didnt know if other pros had team and group stuff. It just show how much she didnt really care about the current hero scene. That would make her worry. Was she bad for having that stance? It just felt like it wasnt her business to know. She wanted to focus to try and figure out her own life instead

Rowan cooled down immediately, okay an easy misunderstanding then. Sometimes she wished Miku was more extrovert, talking and taking up things but sometimes she wished that she herself was less agitated about literally everything. But that happened, especially when she got tired and nervous and bringing up a big idea to your best friend, made her nervous. She did not want Miku to feel forced of joining her but she wanted Miku to join her... you see the issue? She took a strain of her black hair and started to nervously braid it while listening. "You." She said bluntly when Miku was done, and looking with an intense stare of her golden eyes at Miku. She took a deep breath, "I have just been putting pictures together of watching the tournament, people you can trust and people we know that would be great. So I was thinking about Haruuhi as well, it is obvious that we worked greatly together and even though she is support focused, she can help me with my quirk and well she just knows a lot you know." Her argumentations were faltering as she felt shy to admit she had been sort of stalking people to watch it. But she did not dare to do anything with it until Miku would confirm that it was a good idea.
"I also considering asking Jisatsu, he is really good at what he is doing and besides his, I think its a hare, mutation, will help us with quick messages, healing and disaster, things I am not good at and I don't think you are entirely focused on it either. I thought if we could split it with three combat heroes and three support, we might be the best team. That being sad, I don't want the support students to think they can do nothing but support us, like I said, Jisa-kun could be like a scout and Kumoko, you know her too I saw her at your birthday. She is like super good at making gadgets and those webs and the designing of outfits, that's just very useful as well. But... yea well that's where I am sort of stuck." She could not find another third member that she knew very well, everyone seemed to have their own idea. Chimera was great, but heck no would Rowan dare to bring up the idea to him, he was probably going to work together with Yojin and as much as she thought that Yojin was great, she still wasn't entirely sure what she felt about him and didn't want to linger on that. Same being said with Tetsuko. She was sure Tetsu had all her plans ready so why would she bother, where they late worrying about this?

Miku blinked "M-me?" ok, in hindshight she should've expected that. But what can she do?? That intense stare Rowan had was just wow. Rowan took a deep breath and spoke. Miku smiled and nodded "Makes sense" indeed they worked together after all. Miku noticed Rowan was being shy a bit, Miku couldnt really tell why. Miku reached out and held Rowans hand and gave her a light squeeze "Hey there. I like the plan. So tell me, who do you wanna join. Asside from the original sport fest trio thats me, you and Haruu?" she asked
She listened then other suggestions Rowan made. Jisatsu because he is good at doing what he does. Miku though doesnt know what. But she explained, hare mutation quick on his feet with messages, healing and disaster. Miku nodded and acknowledged that. Rowan explained they can split it into 3 combat heroes and 3 support and if they do that, they will be best team. That being said, support students wont just support. Jisa can be scout. Kumoko is a gadget maker. And thats where she is stuck
Miku then spoke "Lets see. You, me, Haruu, Jisa and Kumoko makes 5. I imagine Haruu, Jisa and Kumoko are our supporters. The scouts, gadgeteers and the like. You and me are combat heroes. But we're missing 1 more" She thought who can help. Miku first looked at options from her own class. Its best that she and Rowan try and worked with a classmate. But reviewing their classmates they have Tetsuko, Chimera, Luka, Akio, Risaka and Eli. Out of all those, Miku only saw one that fitted their criteria "Do you think Chimera would be an ok choice?"Miku thinks among the crew, she can jive with him the best "Among our classmates, I think he's the best. Tetsuko is too caught up with Elise. And Luka and other class C transfers dont really vibe with me. And honestly, I dont know anyone outside our class to suggest" Miku said |

Rowan raised only her right eyebrow and looked with an expression that said Seriously?, at Miku. "You act surprised but you are my best friend, besides I mentioned it in England, we are polar opposites when you look at elements, wouldn't it be great to work together in that case." Hah, if only they had people like... eh, Melody and and... she had to think about someone with wind powers, someone she wanted to think about. She sighed, without noticing that is, if only Sean still had his quirk, though maybe working together with your boyfriend was a very bad idea, very distracting and harmful in a sense. Right, focus, they were talking so Rowan continued with her idea and that they would just be able to count on people that they knew, which would maybe help with some anxiety for the big bad world that they would join very soon if you asked her. So she pointed out Haruuhi and was glad Miku agreed. She felt like this was such a big step, she did not know how to tackle it, what to say about it and felt quite awkward about it. She looked at Miku as she took her hand and gave a soft squeeze, which made the black-haired student smile a little bit and nod, yea it was fine, she could talk to Miku.
So she continued with what ideas she had and the people she knew. She nodded, that is if Haruuhi wasn't busy with whatever it was that she was doing and calculating that none of the others was approached. Was it stupid? They had a whole year to go and they did not know what graduation would even bring them but would it be bad to be prepared? She actually wanted to ask someone, maybe Suwa-sensei but she would see, at the moment it felt like it was just something to discuss. She nodded, "Just one yea." She was sure the others could even join in the more combat actions if they wanted to but she wanted to be a rescue team, she actually did not want to use her own quirk for direct attack so it was something to wonder about and discuss. "I really need to talk to a PR manager if I want to sell this to the others."
She was thinking and looked up when Miku offered Chimera and she couldn't help but shrug. "I think Chim will do whatever ehm Yojin does? They seem to be quite close, as roommates and well just that, I also don't know Chim enough to ask him, but we could always drop the invitation. I rather invite people that refuse us then have the issue of people thinking we don't like them." Also she wondered if others thought about it too. "Tetsuko... she is quite the individual, so I don't think she wants a complete team yea. It is also that I want to be a rescue team, with if necessary we can do combat, so that's someone we are looking for. Not the extreme heavy hitters, does that make sense?" Kirk might be interesting but she was sure he was popular, she had not talked to Jasmine in ages. She was sure of some people she did not want in her team and she did not know enough from the other years to actually consider something. Ehm.... "Maybe we accidentally bump into people?" She finally said when pondering about it for a while, and she quickly put a biscuit in her mouth.
If both of them were more social instead of clinging to each other, would it have been easier?

"I know. Doesnt mean it doesnt cease to amaze me" she then looked at Rowan "I am lucky to have you. You have no idea" Miku said giving a Rowan a bit of heart to heart. Miku still didnt value her abilities much, but she did value Rowan. So Rowan continued with her idea. Rowan pointed at Haruuhi and Miku nodded and agreed with that sentiment. Seeing how Rowan was, Miku took her hand and gave her a lil squeeze which made Rowan smile a bit.
She continued with her idea and Miku listened. It was people Rowan knew. All in all, she listedn 5 people, so they would be missing a team meber if they were gonna be two teams of 3. Miku double checked of course that if they were missing one, to which Rowan confirmed. She then said she needs to talk to a PR Manager about stuff. Miku nodded "Right"
Soon when Rowan finished, Miku opted to suggest Chimera. But Rowan shrugged. She said Chim does whatever Yojin does, they're super close. And she doesnt know Chim enough to ask him, although she said she would rather invite people that refuse them than have the issue of people thinking they dont like them. Miku mentioned Tetsuko, but she didnt have any high hopes for Tetsu, she didnt seem the type to join. To which Rowan agreed. She then explained to Miku she wants a rescue team, not a heavy duty combat team. Miku nodded and pondered
Rowan then said that they may accidentally bump into people. Miku looked at her "I guess. I just worry that the decent students that might suit our rescue needs are a grade lower then us. I dunno any compitent 3rd years"
Miku looked at her phone, to see the chat. Maybe it can offer a solution
"Maybe if we ask in chat?" she suggested out loud

Rowan did decide not to respond to that, she simply gave a firm nod and looked away. She did not like the compliment, she was very glad that she had Miku as her best friend too but she didn't talk to her. Rowan couldn't stand that and she did not want to bring it up now, it was too much to consider. She did not want another fight and she turned to look at Miku, she was just not seeing what Rowan was seeing and probably vice versa so she gave a vague smile and just was continuing on with her idea. This was a bad start for teamwork but maybe at another point Miku would talk to her. She should stop trying to push Miku to do so, right? So she would point out Haruuhi and others and she just let Miku squeeze her hand, not sure what to say anymore.
Miku seemed to have missed Rowan's joke about the PR manager but she also let that be. She wasn't selling this well to anyone and it was just that. Rowan took a deep breath and would listen to the suggestions that Miku made. She really would like to work together with Chimera, their training class had gone well but she was sure that meant including Yojin and Rowan liked him still too much to think about it. She did not want to remember how she realized Yojin was dating that second year. So she said nothing about it and just simply pointed it out. She would just say that she could always ask Chimera or Miku could. But the same was going on with Tetsuko, that would be a real good point if someone like Tetsuko would join. But Rowan did not know, they were not on the same level so she felt like she would hold Tetsu back probably. But also that her focus was on rescue, it was hard that they did not split classes on that in UA so she wasn't sure whose interest lay where.
"How is that a worrying thing? We are doing fine without any of the others now as well, we just make a better way and so on, there is no harm in asking lower years such as Kumoko?" The other third years were competent enough just not maybe on one line with them so it would be something to consider. She screwed up her face when Miku mentioned the chat, god she hated that place. "Ehm, no because then everyone will asks us and especially you don't like to say no. We can better invite the ones we want or consider ourselves. Like I said, eventually we bump into someone."

Rowan asked Miku how is what she said worrying at all? They are doing fine without anyone else. So they just make a better way and so on. No harm in asking lower years as Kumoko. Miku asked "Really? Hmm, I thought about just 3rd years since they graduate first." Miku said explaining why she only considered 3rd years.
Miku suggested askin in chat, but Rowan reasonably said no because everyone will ask them. So they better invite the ones they want or consider themselves. Miku nodded in agreement
"You're right you're right. So i guess, we go about this slowly and not rush. I guess I went a lil too fast" Miku said
In Miku's opinion, she thought Rowan had it all covered. She was sure that she or they can make an excellent team together. But speaking of team, she remembered something
"Hmm, you, me, Jisa, Haruu and Kumoko" she then facepalmed when she realized Kumoko is a 2nd year "Oh boy. Im such a dunce. I forgot Kumoko is a 2nd year. Man Im a dummy" she shook her head "Anyway, you just told me about this thing right? You didnt pitch the idea to anyone else, yet? Right?" Miku asked

"Doesn't mean the now second years aren't good enough?" Eventually they graduate as well and considering there was a link to UA, if it came to rescue or anything else, would they not be able to help provide the newly heroes as well? It was surely an interesting thing to consider but Rowan just wanted to know more, and what the idea was that Miku had and she shrugged, "It just means another month of us the four of us, so, who knows?" And well that is if Haruuhi and Jisatsu agreed, she did not want to ask or well she did not want to be turned down after her great idea and she would just say nothing about it and would thus smile at Miku. And they would continue with how to tackle this idea and trying to find someone else.
With the idea of the thread, Rowan frowned, not entirely sure but would it be bad if people would ask them that they did not want? It could be a dangerous move and a very unkind one. "I mean that means you are excited which is good, I just don't want to rush it, we are still here for quite a few months and we still have our sidekick year to go through, but there is no harm in thinking and working with it."
She looked at Miku when she facepalmed herself and she nodded a little, "Don't worry." Kumoko was everywhere so it made sense that Miku forgot. "Why would I tell anyone first but you?" She asked surprised, not sure why Miku even wondered about that idea and she would quickly take another snack and put it in her mouth. "You think we could call Haruuhi?" She had not met her too much, so it would be weird to do it by herself, maybe with help from Miku it would be easier to talk to Haruuhi about this idea.
