Jess was quite upset, Dr. Yojin had been very kind to her and his robots that rolled along the floor were simply adorable to her and now someone on the chat was trying to murder the caring creatures. It was unforgivable and the Polish girl had not been this upset in quite some time, she had went through all of her techniques in order to settle down but could not quench the rage that was building inside of her she had to at least confront this Luka person and tell them off, she was not certain who Luka was but knew it was one of the male students of the school and he lived in the dorms. As such she stormed directly to them from the Estate, even though she did not live in the dorms she could have access with her student ID and since it was not after curfew could easily enter the male dormitories without being stopped by the school security. Doing her best to keep a calm outward appearance Jess had her soft, silver hair pulled back into a ponytail and was wearing a black tank top and red, baggy athletic shorts, it was her normally her gym attire and she picked it out in case this Luka wanted to escalate to blows out on the training ground. While Jess was simply going to yell at him she was all too aware that by doing so she could be starting a fight quite easily and as such prepared for it. Her emotions towards the little robo buddies she had just made attachments to compelled her to at least yell at this Luka and so she would have to be ready for any consequence of her action, while she doubted just yelling would get her in trouble there would be a problem if Luka just sucker punched her in the dorm as she would respond by tackling him through a wall at this point in time. While normally emotionally stable she felt extremely hurt by the threats towards the little machines that she found so cute and comforting. Arriving in the middle of the dorms and seeing some of the boys mill about Jess would not shout but instead speak loudly and firmly with her deep voice which was obviously hurt, " Alright, who is of Luka? Say of these things about Yojin San robot to face now!" With her fists balled up by her sides Jess would attempt to calm herself down but she could feel her blood racing, normally a feeling that would only happen with her summon by her side, instead now would consume her as she tried to keep from exploding in a rage in the middle of the dormitories, the female student did not think this was wise and instead would scan the room for anyone who responded. The polish girl was eager to shout this boy down and prove to him that he was wrong about her friends, she could not stand the idea of someone destroying the poor little dears. Luckily a fellow student came up and explained that Luka was in the training grounds and so Jess would head over there after apologizing for interrupting the other student's day. [ WC: 539 ] |

Luka snickered to himself as he tucked his phone away and wiped the sweat from his brow, taking a few sips of water before he got to his feet and walked back out into the training hall. Wooden structures shaped and painted to resemble buildings were spread across the room, serving as multi-tiered platforms to give depth to whatever training that the students wanted to make use of. It was designed to resemble a small cityscape, a street corner of an intersection, though of course it wasn't remotely close to what the real thing looked like, it was a good enough facsimilie for training purposes. Bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet, Luka grinned to himself as he prepared himself for his continued training.
He'd had an idea that he really needed to work on now that his mimicry had reached a more acceptable level, and the last Sports Festival had really given him a boot in the rear to work on things that he had clearly left for too long. Looking around at the various 'buildings' that filled the hall, Luka began to jog, picking up speed as he warmed his body back up after its rest period. He lapped the room a few times, picking up speed until he maxed out. Scanning his surroundings properly, the small teen stretched out one arm as he ran, a tendril of slime emerging from it at high speeds and wrapping around the 'street lamp' substitute. His momentum added with a slight tug on the slime pulled him up off his feet and into the air, further manipulation of the tendril altering his trajectory as he spun around the pole like a mini-Tarzan. A second tendril from his other hand to a higher protrusion on one of the fake buildings had him changing direction as he let go of the faux-street light, Luka twisting his body midair to adjust for the changing forces on his body.
Hurtling towards the side of the building, his body condensed into an orb as he struck the side of it, a rippling motion through his gel-like form absorbing the impact and pushing him off of the flat surface as he reverted back to his human form in mid-air, flipping backwards through the air to land on the cross armn of the street light, his arms windmilling slightly to keep his balance. Panting slightly but ever so pleased with himself, Luka cartwheeled along the arm before leaping up and off the light, a thin whip of slime latching on to one of the rafters as he swung across the imitation street and landed up on the roof of one of the platforms that served as the roof of an imitation Pharmacy.
Plopping down to rest again after that little maneuver, Luka grinned to himself. He was getting the hang of using his unnatural anatomy to move around in ways that no one else could. If he could perfect this sort of movement then he'd definitely be able to close the gap between himelf and his peers. His control over his quirk was good, he knew that, but he had fallen behind in a number of physical skills, and that bothered him more than he would have liked.
Hidden as he was up on the 'roof', Luka wouldn't be able to see anyone who entered the training ground. Equally, he wouldn't be visible to anyone from the ground, no matter how tall they were. He had no idea that his little crusade against the monstrous little murder machines had actually done more than cause some dumb arguing, and so was blissfully aware of the Slavic Storm headed his way.

Even Black Hole Sun was upset at this point materializing himself as soon as they crossed into the training area with a stretch and it's form began rolling it's shoulders with it's long fingers clenching and unclenching into fists. A small cityscape would be fifty meters ahead of them set up for someone's training and the duo had been informed that Luka was there and the one currently using it. The two figures who were both over six feet tall began to walk up towards to first set up psuedo building at a leisurely pace with five meters between the two. Within Jess' hands were two rocks each, while she did not have great accuracy yet she did have some good power with them and could use them to easily bust off some steel to use as a weapon if things escalated that far. A black glob would form between BHS' left index and middle finger before transforming into what looked like a cigarette and appeared to light itself with smoke drifting five meters above it before suddenly stopping short. In reality the summon was messing with it's physical manifestation as the real creature existed in Jess' very blood itself instead of the body that was walking besides her towards the place where they would confront this beast of a man who threatened her robotic friends, the act itself was unthinkable and the cause for this impromptu session of confrontation that would be soon served up. As Black Hole Sun was out and alongside her Jess had full control over all of her abilities and could feel the very air itself up to seven meters out as it shifted from the two moving along. Fully attuned as she was she could not see Luka but such made sense as they were still forty meters away from the complex psuedo-city scape that was set up before them. On full alert Jess was eager to test something out, while she had used the air pressure from her blows to attack before could she also use them to propel herself a bit? Probably, surely not as well as she had seen Quirkers with a mobility quirk use it but she could effectively 'jump' five meters if she kicked correctly and thanks to her enhanced speed and reaction she could land as if it was a normal foot step. While far more used to fighting with a blade Jess had full confidence that if the person was not some weird material person she could get them beaten in a close quarter fight, but a long range one was beyond her current capabilities. Still it did not even matter if she won a fight if there was one as the student was far more concerned with the honor of her friends that Luka besmirched online. Jess was still upset about it despite all the walking she had done, practices, and even the passage of time which meant that she felt those things were in serious danger of being hurt or worse, decommissioned. The Polish girl would be damned if that were to happen, it was bad enough to her that she missed when they were allowed flame throwers and now someone wanted to remove them completely? How else was she going to casually liter just to watch something adorable go about it's work for a bit of joy when she was bored to tears in political classes? The pharmacy while being the building holding Luka was not the building closest to the pair, instead it was nestled just a bit inwards from there, kiddy corner to it and as such the pair's initial intrusion may go unnoticed but now Jess would speak with a loud, firm and deep tone filled again with the hurt that was overwhelming her better senses. " Luka, is Jess, I of know you are there and now you are going to regret words. You will NOT be of hurting little floor friends!" the challenge echoed throughout the place before them as the pair continued forward, now thirty five meters away from the corner of the closest building to them which was across from the pharmacy where unbeknownst to either Jess or Black Hole Sun, Luka sat on the roof. Still while the voice would give her away it would not be a good situation for the boy who was far more than fifty meters away from the pair who were approaching at a slow pace more wanting a direct confrontation and not so blood lusted they would run. Time would allow for this confrontation to happen and Jess honestly more wanted to make sure that this Luka would not hurt her friends rather than just ensure that his bones were broken. She had to maintain an air of professionalism to stay in school but for Jess it was more that nobody should be condemned fully until they have had amble opportunity to explain themselves or their actions and would not just jump on someone before allowing them such an opportunity. While Jess was a gutter punk, hated authority for the most part, and had anger issues she also had a very strict moral code that did not allow for violence to be escalated to on her side unless very strict conditions were met. While not above preventing someone from hurting another, Jess had to be sure the person was going to harm another before inflicting violence upon them. [ WC: 916 ] |

Resting casually against the roof of the 'pharmacy', Luka wasn't really paying attention to his surroundings, at least, not more than he would normally. So it was that, while he heard heavy footfalls, he didn't really give them much thought as he stared up and contemplated what it was he was going to do next. Working more on his ability to move about would be good, but there were other areas he really needed to work on if he wanted to catch up with his peers, the Festival had lit a fire under him that he hadn't been expecting. He had worked so hard to catch up as one of the last in his year level to join U.A., but the gap between himself and the earlier students still felt so far. He had refused being held back a year, and he was determined to prove that choice to have been the right one. He most certainly couldn't ignore the voice calling out for him, though he was suprised at just how deep it was. He hadn't been expecting that of Jess. He also hadn't expected her to be so dang defensive of the Doombas that she'd come hunt him down to force him to stop his extermination campaign against the dangerous remnants of Yojin's ill advised modifications to what should have been amusing cleaning robots. Sighing slightly to himself, Luka dusted himself off and began to rise, figuring he'd humour the rather unusual First Year and see if they could work this out with minimal fuss. Considering his general appearance though, he was determined to make a strong impression, and so his first action was to shift from a boy into his natural state of being, a sentient puddle of goop. Sliding silently across the roof, a small protrusion of slime poked out over the edge to take a look at Jess and see what he was dealing with. It was very hard not to make a sound as he laid eyes on the Polish girl for the first time. He was pretty sure her thighs were thicker than his shoulders, her biceps close to his waist size. Jess was absolutely massive, and he hadn't anticipated that at all. What the hell? Retreating back to the relative safety of the roof, he sat there as an orb of gel trying to consider what he was going to do. She was big, she was angry, and she had some sort of shadow being next to her as well. He had no idea what it was capable of, and that sort of thing didn't sit well with him. For gods' sakes, he'd angered a Slavic giant. Now he knew how the Japanese felt in 1905.... and the Austrians in 1914... still, like both those cases, he was stronger than he looked and she was a First Year. How bad could it be? Really? After a few minutes of thought, he moved to one of the corners of the Pharmacy, furthest away from Jess' location, his body slowly coming together, smoothing out. It took him very little time for his shape to take on the appropriate shape, colour and texture of his chosen form. Part of him was highly amused by the choice of disguise, but really, he just wanted to make an interesting impression, and he hoped that this would do it for him. Luka knew he'd be considered a nerd, and Jess probably wouldn't have even the slightest clue about the reference...but that probably made it better. Adjusting his vocal tract he cleared his throat slightly, until it sounded deep enough for his tastes, and without really thinking it through he let his playful side take control of the situation. "I am doing the school a favour, the Doombas are a menace to all innocent beings in U.A." he called out, his voice sounding like it came from a rather broad chested male, a slight rasp to it as well to imply a level of toughness that he couldn't actually show off in his default human form. He was far too small and cute to be considered tough at a single glance. Really, it was both a blessing and a curse. "I told you I wouldn't be eating my words!" he added, even as his box-like form slithered from its current location to something several meters away from where he had been talking. He didn't want to give Jess an easy target if she decided to use some sort of ranged attack.
Settling into a new position, the slime boy began to send out small tendrils of slime across the rooftop, interlocking them and disguising them against the material to from an almost spider-web like structure out of the slime. With his mimicry, it would be incredibly difficult to tell where these tendrils lay, and impossible to distinguish his box form from a real cardboard box unless she tried to pick it up... or like, attack it. The box would resemble concrete in that respect, rather than the cardboard it looked like it was. Hopefully she wasn't trigger happy, and equally hopefully he wouldn't regret his teasing of the large first year. Sitting quietly in wait, Luka went back to contemplating just how goddamn swole Jess was. He could probably sit on her shoulder in human form without any real difficulty, his butt couldn't be that much larger than her broad shoulders, assuming it actually was at all. Definitely not what he had been expecting, but he'd have to roll with it for now.
He had a joke to play.

Due to how far away Luka was Jess would not be able to hear the minimal noise he made upon his first descent from the roof and as such would continue scanning the area and slowly moving forward. Instead the first thing she would hear was a familiar voice, one she classified as a late 90s voice...Non-Poseable Snake, from Alloy Gear this simply could not be. There was no way a video game character from nearly a century ago was possible here with her. What exactly was this Luka up to trying to fool her? Did he just happen to sound like Non-Poseable Snake? Was he trying to have a laugh on her? Regardless calling a genocide a favor was very disrespectful in her eyes and only caused the anger to flare up a bit more and thus she stopped dead still in her tracks and whipped one of the rocks within her left palm towards the closest building where it would smack and crumble in the pseudo-brick that was hastily assembled. While she had no accuracy at that range, her target was the building and thusly she did not miss. As the plaster and clay fell from the second story towards the floor Jess would speak once more " You are of hiding like coward trying to goad me in, obviously you are only going to kill robot friends through secrets and lies. Jess am thinking of you were one to stage accident with them, what does make of you feel like big strong man trying to pick on those smaller than you?" at this a tear rolled down Jess' cheek as she remembered the various other times she stepping in to stop bullying and just why she was so angry at this time. The Polish girl truly thought that Luka was going to kill the little roombas, she had seen other threats be carried out promptly and efficiently and had no idea that the student could not be serious. Instead to Jess what would happen was a bloody rendition of her punishing a failed class of her fellow super soldiers, she had been brutally beaten into doing so and could barely move on from the scars they carried. As such the Slav would be damned if she was going to let another student go down a path of destruction like that and cause so much hurt to what she thought were just living beings in metal flesh. Unbeknownst to Jess Robots were not sentient creatures with their own hopes and dreams but the Summoner defended them all the same believing this falsehood with the very core of her being. Jess was not going to enter into the situation, she was no fool and had been trained for combat since she could crawl as such she expected for Luka to have a bead on her and probably have more support within the structures than in the open space outside of it where it would benefit her own fighting style. If he had the advantage now he would shoot her, or attack since he was not doing so and instead speaking without showing himself he obviously wanted the female student to come to her and despite the ire controlling her actions her training compelled her to stay to a twenty meter range away from the outside wall of the outside buildings, hitting that point Jess and her Summon would now start to circle, mindful to keep that distance as they went. As fun as it would be to play into the trap and it was something Jess would normally do in a spar to indulge the partner she was fighting, at the moment the ex-solider was far too serious to give up something that valuable during this match. Though another thought started to wiggle into her mind at this point...could he also be afraid of her? This happened when she was seen for the first time a lot and she had no idea what Luka looked like. No...he doubled down, if he was afraid he'd want to talk this out and try to explain himself. Thus he must be completely confident in the scheme he planned up and as such Jess had to draw him out somehow, she really didn't want to do more damage to the training ground but they were put there to be torn down in the first place she supposed to herself thinking about just what to do next. While she had not seen the slime yet he had seen her and Jess was convinced that his actual emotions right now were not what he was feeling due to his panicked actions and her rage filled mind state. " Why can you just not give up your genocide and be big man a different way? Have honor Luka, you do not need to be of doing this..." Jess barked out again in a sharp snap working herself up even more. Depending on how the slime boy replied Jess was close to just reporting to a teacher as lives were on the line as far as she was concerned, while angry her hope was to persuade the boy not to kill the robots, but if he was still convinced to do so the Polish girl would stop at nothing to halt that action. This was extremely important to the girl who thought that Luka was some monster out to snuff out sentient life. [ WC: 907 ] |

Luka was a little disappointed that she hadn't come up onto the rooftop, that meant that this particular joke was either wasted or that he'd have to force it. He hated forcing jokes, they were never as funny and left a bad taste in his mouth. Instead he tried to figure out what it was that he was going to do now, since that option had become a dead end. He had been very proud of his Snake impression though, it had come out even better than usual and really matched the feel of the environment. It was something worth developing further in the future, but right now he had to deal with grumpy giant slav and her oddly emotional plea to protect the Doombas from his wrath. The more he thought about it, the stranger her words sat with him, there was something he was missing out of this whole situation and he couldn't quite figure out what. It tickled the edge of his senses and teased at his brain, a niggling little problem that demanded to be solved before he could happily go back to trolling. Deciding that it was more important to get to the bottom of this situation than continue a joke that was already falling flat, Luka began shifting his position so that he wouldn't startle Jess too much. He wasn't sure what she'd done but he'd heard the building get hit by something, and he didn't want to be sniped before he could get a word in edgewise. "Big strong man?" he asked, his voice still that raspy, deep one as he found the right spot and began to rise up over the edge of the roof, "yes, a real big strong man" he sat there, legs dangling idly over the edge, blue hair shifting in the slight wind that lifted it calmly around his head. He stared at the large girl and her odd shadow creature curiously, watching and waiting to see if she'd attack him now that he was visible, the small German ready to react just in case. They were fairly far apart, so he should have plenty of time to respond
"Look just how big, strong, and manly I am~" he snarked with a crooked little grin, his voice returning to normal during the sentence until it was the light, androgynous tones that he usually sported. He made sure to focus on Jess' face to get the most out of her reaction. No matter what it was, he was sure that it was going to be at least a little amusing. "I really don't understand why this bothers you so much, they're motorised vacuum cleaners that have been weaponised to the point of danger to students and then set free with no thought for what they can do. If I were someone else I would have been crippled, it would have completely sliced my achilles tendon" he said, brows furrowing into a slight frown, but his legs still kicking out into the air casually. Jess didn't seem like the unreasonable sort, nor stupid. Sure, she had language issues but that didn't mean she was dumb. So why did she care that he was taking care of an actual hazard to people in the dorms? He could see why Yojin did, and to an extent Angie, not to mention those who thought it was funny rather than irresponsible to see the damn weaponised cleaners cause trouble. Jess didn't seem to fit those categories to him, and so he was more than a little confused over how seriously she was taking this confrontation.
"That's months of recovery time Jess, another student would have had to be held back a year with that kind of injury" Luka called out, trying to make her see things from his point of view so that he could go back to having fun with this situation rather than have to take it seriously. "That's not worth letting someone's joke keep wandering around causing trouble, because that's all those vacuums were. Like sticking a machine gun on a rocking horse to spray up and down consistently... they were made because someone thought it was funny." He could see how tense she was, and he didn't want to set her off, but really, this was silly. Unfortunately for his more prankster side, the hero persona and overall helpful attitude was starting to take over now and he was starting to think that the massive girl was dealing with some sort of issue to be this upset over robots like the Doombas. He didn't know enough about her to figure out why, but it could lead to further problems later on, and he wanted to make sure that it didn't.
"So why don't you explain to me why it is that you're so determined to stop it that you'd come pick a fight with someone who's part of the first cohort of Heroics students?" He wasn't being arrogant, but it was unusual to have someone brand new to the school come to pick a fight with the Third Years. There was a distinct difference in experience levels between them, so either Jess was willing to take the risk, or she was stronger than an average first year. Both were possible, and she obviously felt strongly, but the why bothered him the more he thought of it. It just didn't match his understanding of her as a person.

What? No....no...that wasn't, no. That voice, in that body? The person who threatened the robots? What? Jess' face became flush as soon as she got a full view of Luka on the roof top, along with it twisted into confusion all of the ire completely dying. How could she possibly hurt someone so adorable? Her muscles went slack and the sound of rocks clattering from her hands could be heard as Black Hole Sun de-materialized himself eager to get away from the girl's thoughts. As the blue haired waif of a boy would shift his tone and continue to speak Jess would hear a high pitched noise before realizing it was coming from her. How could he sound like that? She did not know what to do, she simply continued to stare dumbfounded at the person whom she had come with the intention to fight, finding no desire now to do so. Quite the opposite, someone this small and adorable simply needed to be protected and pampered it was the way of the adorable and a thing that Jess had known well protecting those weaker than her from their shared childhood. Luka certainly did not look big, strong or manly but they looked like something else entirely to the girl who's thoughts were just now starting to come back online to her awareness. With suddenly clarity that she was wearing red athletic shorts she quickly adjusted her legs and looked away from Luka in order to calm down, she had not expected this and not in the least. At least he was a bit away from her and still talking, wait, if she looked away he would think something was wrong and as such Jess looked back up at the student as he spoke. While Jess may be a female now she had not always been that way, and of the two, one puberty was dedicated to matching the gender of her brain with her body as such she still carried with her something from birth that most of the time she was not ashamed about though it was not something she wanted to expose as a secret here, doubtlessly too late for that however as she had been rather slow to act about it. They spoke about an incident brought about by the roombas and spoke quite in length about them, it seemed like something personal to her fellow student and something he was concerned would happen to others. The way he spoke about them one would think that the robots had no minds of their own and were no better than soulless dolls, comparing them to a rocking horse as he did speak. Now shame washed over the Slavic girl as she processed that one could be crippled, while she would need to look into this more she would also not really be able to form a rebuttal to that even if she still wanted to. Completely deflated, embarrassed and at a loss for words Jess felt the most awkward she had since moving to Japan in the first place. Even though he was more than a foot shorter than her, Miss Circe certainly felt like the smaller person during that moment. Wait he was part of the first cohort? Admittedly it did not matter to Jess who someone was when it came to a fight for the safety of others but she was not away that Luka held such a lofty position, no doubt it would have been much more of an uphill battle than she would have liked but it would have been one fought all the same if not for these confusing feelings that came up in her chest and consumed her very soul. Still even if Luka was not how they looked, Jess would be hard press to continue an attack after hearing all of that and so it would be that she would try to speak loudly and fail, instead in a soft voice and in a very delicate and somber tone Jess would speak with her head bowed looking at the floor. " Am....am of sorry Luka...Jess of thought....since they are so cute....and of take out trash that they might of have a brain of own and thought and dream and Jess picture little roomba go home to little roomba families after school let out and tell them about day." At this Jess looked back up at Luka with a sorrowful expression, " But of please do not kill even if not have brain, they are of good now, Jess not see any bad behavior...please" her voice was more akin to a mouse than the mountain lion that it was earlier extremely reflective of the mental state that she now held as opposed to the one that the student had came in with. " Also Blue is of good color on you" at this Jess blushed but stared directly at Luka now determined to look him dead on that her apology had been rendered though what happened next would be completely determined by him. Jess was someone who did what she desired according to her strict code of laws and as it was now she felt as though she had slighted her fellow student with this whole situation, the sooner it could be rectified the sooner she could feel better about the whole thing and try to process why she felt so weird around him. The reaction was pretty amusing, a high pitched sound emerging from the broad shouldered chest as she stared at him. It was like he'd poked a hole in a balloon, and that sound was her anger leaving her. Focused as he was on making sure that he wasn't attacked, Luka was observant enough to see what was going on, and smart enough not to do anything that drew attention to either the situation or his knowledge of it. Seeing that he wasn't in any immediate danger he slid over the edge of the roof and dropped about three storeys, knees casually bending to absorb the impact before he straightened up and began to walk over towards the much, much larger student. Listening to Jess' explanation certainly put things into perspective, he wasn't too sure how she'd come to that conclusion but at least it lined up with what he knew of her thought processes and mindset. It was good to know his analysis wasn't as far off as he thought it may have been.
"I promise I don't go around killing things that are sapient if I can avoid it," the small boy stated with a slight smirk, feeling a lot smaller the closer he got to Jess... what did they feed them in Poland to get someone so big? He couldn't promise not to go killing things that had families to go home to, since he often went camping and that involved catching hares to eat, but sapience? He could promise that much. "Heck, I even have a robot friend in my year level, though he's in a different class to me, so it's not like I have a thing against robots or anything," felt kinda wrong to say, but it was true and he'd already said it, so there's not much he could do to take it back now. Regardless, point was that he wasn't a muderous psychopath and he wanted to make sure the large Slav understod that.
"You haven't seen any badly behaved ones because I'm preeeetty sure that I got most of them that were left by now. There might be a few more, but it won't be many~" he explained, coming to a stop in front of her with enough distance between them that he could look up at the other student without too much difficulty. She really was pretty huge in comparison to him, and he couldn't help but look over the wall of muscle that he had managed to calm down with a few words. He probably could beat her in a fight.... hopefully... considering the difference in experience, but he really was glad he didn't have to find out. Luka knew where he stood amongst the Third Years and it definitely wasn't at the top, but he had no idea how that measured up to the lower year levels. What was the actual difference between a First and a Third Year? He didn't have a clue and that meant he wasn't too sure how well he measured up to the behemoth of a First Year in front of him.
A small, crooked smile spread across his face at her rather blunt compliment, reaching up to pat her forearm in consolation. He didn't like this subdued version of her either, it was a bad senpai that left their juniors feeling so out of sorts after all. His grin becoming cheekier, Luka looked up at Jess and smiled, eyes closed and head tilted to the side. "I can be bluer if you'd like~" he said, his body collapsing down in shimmering blue gel until he was a small sphere of slime, lines in his form resembling closed eyes turning to look up at Jess. "Hohoho, what do you think? Too much?" he chuckled, bouncing slightly from his place on the ground. He looked around slightly, trying to decide what to do next. "Well, you came all this way, did you want to train with me for a bit? Maybe we could spar? I'm kinda curious about what you can do~" Luka asked, trying to decide what sort of training he could do with her if she decided to hang around. She was out of sorts, that was obvious, and perhaps a bit of a workout would help her feel better. Give him a chance to help her too if she needed and wanted his help.
"Actually, would you rather speak in German? If you're more comfortable in that rather than Japanese." That was a point, he could understand her well enough, but perhaps it would be better to use a language that she understood better. There was no way in any form of hell that Luka would be able to speak Polish, but she spoke his mother tongue so perhaps she did it better than at Japanese. He could be wrong, but it seemed more likely to him that she'd learned German after Polish, and then Japanese. Actually, maybe he should offer to help her with her Japanese, he often saw her saying slightly off things in the student chat, things that seemed inappropriate or at least could be misconstrued by the other students. Heck, he'd even found some of her slip ups funny, he couldn't help it, but perhaps offering help would be the more mature option in that situation. Not that he always took the mature option... but he was trying his best to be a better role model for the new First Years than he had been last year. And a better role model than some of his own peers.

...How was he even smaller than she pictured? As Luka got closer Jess only got baffled and had to resist and urge to scoop the smaller person to her chest, such a thing would be terribly rude after all and not proper etiquette especially with someone you were just yelling at. He had to be like one third her size, that was baffling to her while not in height the volume of the two was so immensely different Jess only had the urge to protect Luka and shield him from the cruel realities of the world despite how competent he no doubt was on his own. It was a biological urge that would drive the desire and as such Jess faded in and out of his first couple of sentences as he got closer. She caught bits however and most of it was Luka being reassuring, well that was reassuring in and of itself. It seemed the two were far more of a similar mind than the poor Polish girl had once thought and she was relieved to figure this out, though it hardly helped how embarrassed she felt over rushing herself into a panic over something that turned out to be nothing to worry about. Luka touched her almost unexpectedly thanks to her brain being so clouded and confused and to Jess' surprise instead of recoiling of reversing the grab her arm stayed still. Her other hand being placed over top of Luka's gingerly and a smile sprouting on her face before her mind realized it. It felt weird, why had that happened? Her face became even more flush at this however and it was beginning to feel like her body was on fire, Jess was both pleased and upset that she did not have more than just athletic clothing on. Suddenly she felt very exposed and she did not know exactly why, normally she would be open and non-caring about her body but almost now felt like she was being too forward with it. It was all this blasted Luka, now instead of wanting to hit him she wanted to do something else and had no idea what it was. Why must he insist on giving such frustrating feelings to her, was this on her? Self reflection would be needed after today if nothing else, that much was certain. Jess would hardly want to blame another for her own short comings and Luka had been nothing but polite with her so why did these feelings focus on him? Even bluer? Impossi- While the feelings melted away by this sudden form shift she found her fellow student even more adorable as a little blue ball. What wizardry of a Quirk was this? In either case the new emotion plus the several back to back revelations set off Jess' weakness that she had not prepared for this information and was thus overstimulated. " Too much, too cute" Jess mummured softly as she sat her ass on the concrete and placed both palms onto it's cool surface in order to ground herself and destimulate, a blissfully exhausted look was on her face much akin to someone who just had a surprise birthday party. While it was harder for Jess to focus she still understood the words from Luka and lazily looked at her odd blue student that she had done a one eighty of opinion upon actually meeting. The internet it seemed was a dangerous tool for not allowing empathy to be felt Jess posited to herself, forming a new idea that would actively shape her from here on out. The offer to speak in German was nice and thus Jess could speak even though her brain was scrambled better than it was unscrambled in Japanese. The German would be spoken in a thick Eastern accent, much more Prussian than any South German influences let alone an accent one would find in the Rhineland. " Well thank you Luka, it is nice to speak something more like our mother's tongue eh? I find that language rather constricting honestly, far more based on poetry than the simple kinder block language that is the illustrious engineering of German design. Ah if only the HRE never fell eh? A central European coalition would have taken over the world but nooooo, GERMAN identity only" at the end Jess chuckled a bit from her sitting positioning before she would continue in the harsher sounding language. " Okay Luka I will be truthful with you, I came here wanting to kick your ass. I can shadow box with you but I will not go all out, I have killed before and I cannot turn my force against an ally. My gut and mind will not allow it, one mistake is all it takes for you to accidentally snuff the flame of creation from another and I shan't be repeating my mistake. These hands are stained little blue one, it's why I came here to stop you from staining yours. I see now that I did not need that, oh and another thing while you have me being honest. You give me this weird tingling in my gut that I haven't really experienced before, I've gotten shy around others but this is new...I know it's a big ask, but you're older, what do you think it is?" the whole time her crimson orbs would peer into Luka's the emotions within them would shift and change throughout her speech but a constant distant feeling would remain throughout as she brought up things she would not dare speak on these grounds in Japanese. It was a large risk, Luka could repeat this and get her kicked out but if he had tried explaining things to her before she had no reason to think he would be a kind of person to do such a thing, instead Jess Circe would open up completely to her first person in Japan. No playful cheerfulness, not that she was brooding, but a serious conversation about her past in a serious language with words that she could use in a much better manner. It was the perfect storm for it to happen and if things had gone any differently the Slavic girl would not have opened up in such a manner, but now was the time prompted forth by the color of her character, the persona and essence that was the sum total of her being made this an inevitability when the cards fell as they did. A rather large unload for someone upon the first face to face meeting but it was something that one raised as Jess would do, trust was not built off of time for her it was built off of deeds and Luka had truly earned her complete trust moreso than any other had at that point. Crisis mostly averted it seemed, which was a relief, and he didn't accidentally upset the much larger girl which he would consider a win. Although she seemed to be going red which might be a bit of a concern, he wasn't sure what had triggered that reaction, which was unfortunate because he didn't want to make her uncomfortable. Though he might have looked significantly younger and weaker than her, he was still her senior at U.A. and it was his responsibility to not only be a role model but also keep an eye out for the new students at the school. No matter how big and strong they looked. This extended even further as she fell over on her backside, seemingly stunned, had he broken her? Perhaps his quirk was just a little too weird for her to process, though the look on her face was pretty hard for him to process. It didn't look scared at least, but he couldn't really place it.
Luka bounced in place on the ground, his small orb-shaped body glistening in the light as he considered what to do next, finally deciding to at least move closer for a polite conversation, gliding smoothly over the ground as though he were simply sliding over ice. He'd figured out slime locomotion very quickly as a child, and could safely say he'd mastered it long ago. Pausing slightly, he changed his gait to make it slightly less unnatural seeming, clear movement of his body pushing him forward. It was cuter that way, and less disturbing than watching him practically float over a surface.
"I'm fairly sure my tongue would quit and leave if I tried Polish," he quipped slightly as the conversation moved on, "and you can't blame Germany for the Holy Roman Empire! That's Napoleon's fault. Plus the USSR and EU weren't exactly stellar organisations, so maybe unified Europe was a bad idea, bleeeh" What could he say, he was a nerd, and he'd done his damndest to keep up with his Germanic heritage even after moving to Japan. Actually, especially because he'd moved back to Japan, those racist kids had needed winding up and a proudly German kindergartener had really stirred up their nest. "Japanese has its uses, it can be a really fun language, but German is definitely more straight forward. Plus there are words that are really funny to think about.... hehe, backpfeifengesicht~" Here the small slime chuckled to himself, thinking of other amusing words you could create or use in German.
He frowned slightly as Jess explained she wasn't willing to go all out against him, the expression looking weird on his small, unusual body. Of course, that issue became secondary when she continued to explain a strange feeling that sounded like... but... no, couldn't be. "Erm, strange tingling? I don't know hehehe..." he managed to stammer out, not quite sure if he was misunderstanding what she was asking and not really wanting to pursue that conversation either way. If it wasn't what he thought, going forward thinking about it that way would be embarassing, and if it was it would also be super embarassing too. His body seemed to lose a little cohesion as he pushed that thought from his mind and tried to focus on something else, though he had to give more of an answer to her than that. "Maybe ask the nurse? I don't have normal human anatomy, haven't since I was a toddler, so I wouldn't know what's normal for them." There, issue palmed off, not his problem anymore... right? He hoped so anyway. Time to tackle the easier topic... death and possibly murder. It said a lot about his mindset when that was something he found easier to talk about than the possible implications of her other topic of choice.
Turning his attention to the other aspect of what she was saying, Luka's body rippled and reformed back to his default human shape, one small blue eyebrow arched in her direction, a slight red flush on his face standing out only due to how smooth and pale his skin was. "We're students at the first major heroics school, we're not supposed to go all out. I can't say for sure if I would be fine against you going all out, since I dunno how strong you actually are, but I'm hardly helpless," he extended one arm outwards, it morphing into a long blade of slime that whipped through the air and leaving a slice through the wrought iron lamp post about 12 meters away. The blade covered that distance in a little under a second, retracting back towards his arm and returning to a regular hand at a slower pace.
"Maybe the only blood on my hands are from deer and hares and the like, but I'm deadly too Fräulein, being able to control your strength is equally important as having it in the first place here," he smiled slightly at this, showing teeth in a cheerful way that would hopefully reassure her that he was confident in his ability to spar with her, and also one that showed he wasn't too rattled by what she had revealed. Sure, there was part of him that was going 'holy shit she's killed people', as any teenager who had lived their whole life in a developed and relatively peaceful nation would. The other part of him though, the one who knew what Eastern Europe could be like, and the one that had experienced Anti-Quirk hate even in a place as 'safe' as Japan, could easily imagine the sort of circumstances that might lead to such a thing for her. Her build alone would be enough to draw the attention of bigots, and there were plenty of places in the Eastern nations where a person like her could end up in trouble that needed more force to survive.
He couldn't, and wouldn't, judge unless he learned more, and even then... well, as long as she wasn't continuing to do it, then what did it matter to him what happened in another country, and at another time. Even if she had been the sort of feral Quirker that lashed out at anyone near her, she clearly wasn't that right now, and she was trying to be a hero. Man... this was getting heavier and heavier, perhaps it was time to turn of the thinking brain and just get on with it.
"If we spar, it should probably be in a place less likely to get trashed though," he mused, tapping his chin slightly with a cheeky grin, "I bet we'd end up levelling this little urban environment~"

Jess cocked her head to the side as she regarded the bouncing slime, no doubt endorphins pumping through a brain causing elation to rise like a spiraling spiritual fire. A phoenix of fire blasting through upward and ever piecing that preserved the positivity of the elation brought about brain chemicals upon processing a visual image. Fascinating the human brain was in it's complexity, from the smallest thing the biggest amount of joy could be pulled. Black Hole Sun really did not understand what was going on however and had since fallen into a lax state of looking at his phone as the two conversed. Unfortunately this writer was much more akin to that odd shadowy flesh puppet and the urge to delve into his exploration simply must be shelved for a future date. Jess giggled at Luka's explanation of why they did not default to Polish, it was okay as she had not expected them to, hell the German shift alone was most delightful. To be understood by someone is a sacred thing and to be given cause for explanation is something FAR more magical and this was the gift Luka had given Jess, and as such while she had just so recently came in to attack him at least verbally. Now, only respect remained, Luka it seemed was far more than he appeared and perhaps this would be a good lesson on not judging one for a simple off handed comment. Why if only everyone could learn such a lesson I would not be here writing today. " Oh sure blame the French, I don't think that will get old after the first time. 'Oh ve vould have von but ve vere stuck in ze trenches with ze french'" Jess did in a mocking German tone in German. Much akin to any language it was a bit slowed down and over pronounced using clues native speakers would know that gave away they were trying to do an awkward accent." I meeean Stalin took over the USSR is this really a good example for us to use there? The EU was just...I mean look at what they let the UK do. They became the UN and nobody was afraid of them so naturally they would fail. German is a much simpler language but no, your face doesn't ask for a hit, or did you mean mine?" Sticking her tongue out at this the large Slav would tease Luka even more than she had with the history speech. While no expert Jess did know some things, though her knowledge of history from WW2 to 2005 was rather mixed and muddled with VHS tapes and movies that soiled the knowledge into something more funny than useful unlike her other historical knowledge. Jess had hoped Luka would know of what she felt better but he seemed almost...embarrassed by it? What had she done...had she ruined everything? Did the cute little blue haired boy hate her now? She simply did not know...but it seemed that way to her brain and her shoulders sagged a bit. " Sorry if I offended you Luka, Jess sometimes say thing she not properly mean" completely not knowing what she had done the Polish girl could not offer a preemptive explanation as she so often tried. It was simply a matter of time she supposed before this had happened to her, it was something that would always happen thanks to how her brain was wired a stumbling block that was most unenjoyable. Regarding Luka as he spoke next it seemed maybe she had offended him by implying he was weak? It was hardly what she meant, this would have to be rectified. So Jess waited until the showcasing was done, the morphing and snaking ability much faster than her own speed but not fast enough to not be calculable, in fact with him within her sixth sense range she felt and knew exactly where he was aiming for before he hit it. Not that she could do anything about it, but it was nice feeling the ability to keep up with information being processed was not going to be stripped from her. Jess gave a nervous smile back to Luka not willing to go more into depth as to what she meant and instead she would simply clap her hands together and the doll like body of Black Hole Sun would be whisked away to cover her face like smoke being pulled out of the room by a vacuum. It materialized upon her as a red cloak hooded over her head and a white mask with a rather dismissive emotional expression but killer eyes, completely on point. " Especially if we end up making me bleed, my blood would fly through a building with more impact than the rock I threw early" Jess said simply as she loosened her muscled up with a series of motions before walking up behind Luka and looking down at him from directly above his head, " Well your go little one, I'll follow you." The frown on the mask turned into a mischievous grin as she would regard the older student from above Jess had no idea WHY she wanted to this just that she did, she wanted to tease Luka after he flexed his physical ability like that and just generally be close to him. But why? It was a complex puzzle that Jess could not pry apart right now and Black Hole Sun was simply having too much fun watching how Luka dealt with Jess' unknowing advances. [ WC: 926 ] |

A look of amused disbelief was directed towards Jess at the overly exaggerated accent, "I don't think anyone has ever claimed the French were the reason for that," he retorted, shaking his head, "it's not like they've been a power since Bonaparte was given the boot. And the Soviets were messed up from the start, Lenin wasn't exactly a nice guy either, the Cheka were awful after all. It's not like Stalin was the only reason the Union was terrible. And let's not get started on the EU, that's waaaaaaay too much to unpack." Luka was a bit of a history nerd, even if his relationship with Perry-sensei was a bit... complex, and he had feelings about the situation in Europe that were a bit too complex to unpack in this situation, so he would let them go. "It was just an example of a funny word when you think of it," he waved off her query about whose face needed punching. She might have been joking around with him, but he wasn't too sure, so he wanted to alleviate any possible miscommunications. He also waved off her apology, not wanting to explore that idea either since he had no idea why she thought she might have offended him. Instead he turned and gestured for the large girl to follow him, confidently walking off towards a more open area to spar with her, both of them having agreed that it was better not to be in the urban environment when they clashed. It'd be easier all around after all if they didn't have to worry too much about collateral damage. He wasn't particularly concerned about her attacking him from behind, and he was the one that knew the training grounds the best, so it made sense for him to take the lead. For some reason there was an extra bounce in his step as he walked, his long hair swaying with every movement until he reached the wide, basic field, spinning on his heel to face the muscled girl, a half smile on his face as he gestured as though to say 'tada'. "Oh, we're doing costumes?" he asked cheekily as she was coated in a cloak and mask, the smirk still pronounced on his features. His form shifted and bubbled, engulfing him in slime as he reshaped and reformed everything from the neck down. Slowly the slime took on clearly defined shapes before texturing, colouring, and leaving him clad in a new outfit. Long black coat, baggy pants and soft shoes, bandages around his upper torso, a bare abdomen, and a furred collar dark as Jess' quirk. His expression looked different like this, the small teen holding himself differently, less innocent and childlike. "Well, shall we begin?" he asked, "I can keep it to blunt damage if you're concerned about your blood." It might have been a taunt from someone else, but Luka was sure that Jess wasn't exaggerating about what her blood might do, quirks were weird as hell and explosive blood was hardly impossible. Once he was sure that the towering slav was ready, Luka readied himself, the ball of his left foot changing to slime beneath him as it extended into a tendril of slime and buried itself underground, the powerful gel-like substance forcing its way through the dirt without much concern. Once deep enough it branched out through the soil like a root system, carving a myriad of tunnels as he lay the foundations for the fight. It wouldn't take long before the German teen was in the center of a circle of slime tendrils thirty meters in radius, ready to use his abilities at a moment's notice. But he wasn't going to take that move first, it was more of a preparation than an initial attack. Instead his right palm shifted, a thick whip of slime extending from it within a few moments, the tendril moving independently from the rest of his arm as it coiled and prepared to attack. "So, let's just freeform it, we'll go until someone wants to, or has to stop. No serious attacks, not cheap shots?" he asked, wanting to see how much Jess wanted to get out of this spar, and also trying to keep her attention on the more obvious things he was doing. "By cheap shots, I mean mostly eyes and groin". Luka was definitely one of the more subtle fighters of U.A., he liked to fight tactically, carefully, and above all... he fought dirty. Some heros, and heroics students, liked to spout nonsense about honour and glory in combat, but Luka wasn't a supporter of that mindset personally. In his mind, it didn't matter how you did it, so long as you won. He was aware that he had to be careful not to go too far, because 'the ends justify the means' was an ideology that could easily turn you into a monster. But that wasn't relevant right now, what was relevant was the fact that they were going to spar, and Luka wasn't going to simply stand back and wait. A gesture of his arm had the whip crack through the air towards Jess, the wrist thick tendril of slime whirring through the air in a way that was aimed to knock her off her feet and give him the first advantage of the match. It wasn't as fast as it could have been, because he didn't want to end this before it even started, but it certainly had the potential to catch her off guard.

Jess was not normally too much of a person for history but she was enjoying hearing the other student speak, and watched his yellow eyes and soft lips as he spoke. Wait...why was she looking at his lips? She could hear him fine, there was no need to guess at the words based off their shape, it simply did not make logical sense to the girl who was far more used to combat. " It can be a silly world sometimes, but I would like to argue with you more about it another time Luka. If you would let me of course" her voice was not often hesitant and it did not lose it's deep or strong tone but it did let the other know the ball was in their court in that regard. Following the smaller boy as he bounced along Jess would begin to feel extremely odd again and got flushed in the face but this time her head suddenly drained and her eyes went emotionless under the mask. Shifting back a bit her summon allowed her to explore her emotions for a time while continuing her forward until she snapped out of it seconds before Luka would shift again, her eyes lighting back up. " Of course! It's the better way for my summon to keep up with me, you are a bit too fast for me to have him off of my face I think" Jess responded with a hearty laugh as she nodded at the transformation. " That really looks good on you Luka, you must have a good mind for fashion or something." The girl complimented her fellow student oblivious to the source of the urge to give out a compliment. Loosening herself up as they came to a halt Jess would begin her stretching routine as she replied, " That would be for the best, though if I do bleed it isn't like you'll become poisoned or anything just imagine it like giving a gun more bullets to fire at the same time as it's original clip." Jess kept her air pressure tricks a bit of a secret figuring she would probably be revealing that in short enough order anyways, it just felt more sporting to let the slime boy know a bit more about her Quirk before they began. As Luka readied himself roughly ten meters away from the girl, Jess herself would fall into a stance fit for the dance of combat. It had been some time after she had been able to feel it's thrill after all and as her eyes closed her sixth sense sharpened to compensate for it. Jess would stand with her back bent and both arms thrust in front one hanging above the other both having their palms face the other and pointed it directly at where she had last seen Luka's form. It was risky pulling this bluff, but with him being only three meters out of range and probably unable to disconnect slime from his body the Slavic woman would be able to determine his location from logic, training, her senses and her experience rather easily. Exhaling as she did so she would note that only half a second had passed from when she had closed her eyes to when she fell into place. It was such that twenty feet below her she could feel the slime extend to five meters behind her and cocked her head to the side before dashing the distance backwards in a simply kick which would put her just beyond it's reach. As she did so she held her form but popped her eyes open instead to regard Luka, " Yes, no cheap shots huh like you were planning with the parts of your body you hid below the ground huh? I mean if you want we can go for the groin but I would prefer not to abuse you like that." The playful tones in which the words were delivered would reveal she was trying more to get the other person's ire rather than form any sort of actual complaint against the strategy. Just how many people had he one shot with such a thing she wondered? Still he could not cover the entire underground around them in that short of a time and thus Jess began to move slowly into a shifted physical location exactly fifteen degrees off from her original position of six a clock from Luka's twelve. If Luka still shot off his whip it would assumed to be her current position but this would allow her to move further back up the clock and advance inwards towards the boy while pivoting with her torso and clapping her hands towards to tentacle blasting air pressure towards it that would be as hard as one of her punches, but was meant to only slow it from curling back in again. For if the boy had made now signs of moving, she would now be back to his position as her torso came back around having sprinted towards him since before the whip was singing outwards and would have been beaten to the punch had it just been a flat thing of base speed alone instead using her positioning to cut down on the actual distance she would need to go in comparison to the other Student's arm which had whipped towards them. Regardless with her left fist now balled up the pivot would bring most of the kinetic force of her sprint into a single punch thrown from two feet away, or just over the length of her forearm. This would allow her to punch through her target and also would cause a blast of air pressure to hit five meters beyond her fist. The target it question would be Luka's right pectoral, he seemed stronger than her so he had better be able to handle this but rushing in like this was quite foolish and not something she would have done in a regular battle and after her punch would go forward, landing or not she would anticipate a feeling of pain on her back from one of the parts of Luka's body snaking up from the underground, or worse one grabbing her legs. Shifting into a more combat focused mindset, Luka didn't really notice the compliment sent his way, too busy getting himself ready to fight. He wouldn't really have known how to respond to the comment anyway, so it wasn't too much of a loss to simply focus on more important things, things like deciding how best to make this spar a beneficial one. "I'm not sure how you picked up on that, but what's going on down there isn't what I meant by cheap shots~" he replied, still spreading the tendrils out beneath him. Just because she had detected them didn't mean they didn't have their uses, he'd just have to be a bit more careful about how he utilised them.
Golden eyes tracked the large girl as she moved across the field, the much smaller teen not moving as she repositioned, but she was still well within his range and so the whip lashed out casually towards her moving quick enough to give her a challenge but not as fast as he could move if he so chose. The Third Year student continued to watch Jess as she ran towards him, examining the way she moved and trying to get a better feel of what she was capable of. Sure, she was big and muscular, but there was bound to be more than that. And more indeed there was as she seemed to use a pressured burst of air to try and prevent his whip attack. There were a number of ways to react to such a thing, however he let the strike push his attack back without any counter, the slime holding up against the air pressure without too much difficulty.
He also didn't move as Jess ran at him, focusing more on watching how she moved and reacted rather than attacking, as well as ensuring that his root system was fully in place, although with how it interwove at this point, it was more of a web of slime beneath the ground. Jess' charge brought her right into melee range with him, her sheer mass would be intimidating for a regular person of his size (it would honestly make for a great viral video to have her just wipe him out like that), but Luka wasn't a regular person. He was a heroics student in his third year at the greatest school for heroes in the world, and he was a slime.
As the large girl threw her punch towards his chest, Luka moved in ways that a normal human wouldn't be able to, his back bending until it was nearly parallel to the ground while his feet remained in place as her arm sailed over his torso, ruffling the fur collar with the air pressure produced by the attack. He had timed it so that his dodge was by less than an inch, her arm no doubt skimming slightly along his body as she struck. It was like something out of those old Matrix movies, except the actual angles of his body would have broken the spine of a normal person.
Alongside this dodge, Luka's right leg came up and whipped towards Jess' exposed ribs, the small boy's body balanced perfectly on a single leg as he dodged and counterattacked nearly simultaneously. His movements were unnatural, almost uncanny, and surely like nothing Jess had seen before. To the best of his knowledge only his sister had a quirk similar to himself, and even she fought very differently to him. Elise was sneaky, to be sure, but she moved conventionally in a human form. Luka on the other hand did not allow his shape to limit him, he was the master of his own body and every piece of it was simply an extension of his own will. He normally moved in normal ways, keeping himself within human norms to avoid freaking people out, as this sort of movement tended to hit uncanny valley very, very quickly, but in combat it was a strong advantage in that it was both unpredictable and unnerving.
Holding the kick for a moment, the whip of slime in his right hand retracted back into his body at a rapid pace along the ground, the tip curling as though to wrap around both her legs. This he did at a slower than usual speed, wanting to test her preternatural senses and also see more how she moved. At the same time the small teen's inner body shifted, beginning to drain out of his left foot while the outer layers remained static, staring directly into Jess' face. It wouldn't take him very long to have the bulk of his body underground, only a shell of slime in human form above ground. He'd never done this before, fake bodies yes, but never a mobile shell, and it was a lot harder than he had expected. Jess would be able to see his flesh becoming more translucent and taking on his natural blue colour, light beginning to become visible through his skin as his irises shifted entirely to a slime blue.
As the colour left his eyes, Luka's own vision of what was going on above ground went with it, the Germanic boy seeking to find a good spot to emerge from and see what Jess would do next. He may not have been going all out with his attacks, but he was definitely pushing his control of his quirk to its limits. He was going to be very hungry once all this was over, that was for sure. Still, he'd had these ideas for a while now and it was nice to at least field test them against someone, see what worked and what didn't. His tournament matches and participation in the International festival last year had given him the most inspiration for fighting styles since he'd come to U.A., and now he was working to refine and perfect the ideas and weaknesses that he had identified then. It would all be worth it when he managed to utilise his abilities more effectively.

Luka had just let her get the whole way without even moving, just how confident was he? Fine, it was time to kick it up to full speed, while he could match that she doubted he would much expect it after she had just launched her attack and thus the Slavic youth went to her speed barrier upon dropping into the elbow smack while completing her series of maneuvers. Still the way he bent was unexpected even if the dodge was not, the way he moved may be unnatural but frankly after seeing him morph before was expected. While she had no idea what kind of material he was or what exactly the properties of it were having seen him shift before this prepared her mentally for this outcome and so it would be that she simply drove her whole arm downward continuing with the momentum and bringing her weight into a sort of elbow that was like an axe chop delivered by her left fore arm. Why he had chosen to leave his body so close was beyond her perhaps he thought that she would not accept the coming blow he would no doubt attempt through any number of avenues but Jess knew she would not come close to even performing to her desired level if she did not take his hits to deal out some of her own. Still with her free hand she would attempt to swat at the ground and using the air pressure generated to push her as she followed through her attack though the action would be performed in synchronicity with the other and thus completed after. This was probably not the best idea as it would cause her to spiral towards his right side but if she was right and he was confident the attack coming from that side would be checked, and the kick was. This would bring her ribs into contact with the kick which was being held however she was now upside down and would simply attempt another full out blow towards the body that was now behind her with her right elbow now leading the way unless the limb attempted to grab upon Jess in that moment which would change the course of operations within the actions described allowing for a new flow to the course of fate. If he did not and still attempted to grab at her legs Jess would jump the last half second before it arrived and shove both feet down causing waves of air pressure to shoot downward before using the momentum to jump over Luka, roll and then dash the ten meters needed to cause them to have a fifteen meter distance once move and controlling her breathing again while keeping her senses upon the odd person. Not only was there more to his body than most would expect, but Jess was beginning to see that there was more to his mind as well and a smile was plastered on her face under her mask as it would dissapate into smoke before reforming five meters to her left as a large, lanky shadowy cyclops who pressed a hand to the ground and brought it's eye to scan the area as Jess focused her senses on where her sparring partner last was.
