Why the hell did Freya sign up for this gig?! She can't work well with kid and the only train she has had so far is teaching misfit cops who are too hot to handle! Not a bunch of kids who are learning their powers and going through as many changes as they go through phases. But after the incident a few weeks ago and what happened, this was the better option she was offered out of the three and she might as well get used to it. Nervousness wasn't even in her system, she was damn well curious who is going to walk through that door. She is going to miss messing with the Hounds daily but she needs to find something new to do. Maybe in the downtime she can find some new hobbies like baking bread, mixing drinks, puzzle solving or some shit like that.
The morning of she was quite hesitant to show up as she hadn't done this in a few years and she heated the feeling of doing this every damn day. It was torture considering the era she was in and how much of it hasn't changed. A man can change a school but one cant change how it works at its core.
Of course she came to the class first and in her hero outfit as it was her work clothes. She walked in and of course the place was empty as it can before the flood of students rushed in. Or whatever the thing they do. She usually ditched her classes when she was too tired, so it's going to be fun to see what excuses are going to be made when one kid is late. Though she does need to change up her habits at night if this is going to be a long term thing. It was a new sense of responsibility that she was familiar with but she just has to adjust to it.
Freya made things fun for herself by stylizing her name on the board as “Ms. Valentine/Hellhound ” which was then followed by a Hellhound logo and it was shooting fire. She was somewhat familiar with the roster from what she saw from the festival but it was more fun to see how they introduce themselves in person. Now its the waiting game.
"Now lets see how these kids make a first impression", she stood there as she sat on the table and drinking a canned coffee.

It wasn't often that someone else would beat Karen to being the first in the classroom early in the morning. In fact seeing as it was their first day back, she was pretty confident about being the earliest. However, much to her surprise, someone was already there by the time she reached her new home for the next year or so. Sitting on the teacher's table in the 2-A classroom was someone whom she presumed would be their homeroom teacher. This was unusual in many ways. Typically teachers had early meetings and stuff to do in the staff room, only coming to class when homeroom actually started. Perhaps there was something different and special about today as it was their first day back from the break. "Good morning sensei!~"She would greet politely as she smiled and entered through the door. The class setup wasn't too different from their first year so she decided to sit in the same chair as before, at the back close to the back door, where she had the best view of everyone and everything in the classroom. After setting down her things, she would walk over to the flower vase by the window and take it outside to change the water. It would only take a few minutes and there was still some time before homeroom began so she should be back way before the bell would ring. There might be a few others around already. Of course they hadn't really decided on things like classroom duties yet as it was the first day, but for Karen this sort of chore was just part of her usual routine. She might have even done a bit of cleaning, but the janitors had done a good job of making sure everything else was in order for the new school year. She was looking forward to being a second year and getting to know their new teacher better. Hellhound was a noteworthy name almost everyone would recognize so she was definitely excited.

(You have to play the song to get the feel)
Birds chirping in the air. Nice warm spring weather. A all-you-can-eat breakfast. Desmoshi was in high spirits since coming back for his first day of school. Finally, he was in his second year at UA Academy, and he felt he had came a long way from when he first started. He had proven that himself in Sports Festival Event and held his own in the tourney. He even triumph over the huge amount of schoolwork that greeted him the first time he got here. And now, here he was. In the second year of his school career.
He shook the hands of most the new students he had helped tour the campus. He said a good morning to the teachers as he danced to the music of his mini-player of his necklace. He got his school uniform done at the cleaners and had a new look to match. He got a new hair cut with fades on the side and now his dreadlocks only show up on the front of his head. He got rid of his glasses and got contacts instead. To say he felt good was an understatement. He was ready for a brand new year!
Mizuki also had changed. She grew out her long purple hair and even gotten a bit of a tan since they last left off. However, she was still the same Mizuki. She commented on Desmoshi being loud as usual, but it didn't bug him. "Come on sis!" Desmoshi exclaimed. "It's new and exciting year. And this time we get do a full one!" Desmoshi looked around the hall. 'Hey don't forget about me!!' Ame said in his mind. 'Calm down, Ame,' Desmoshi thought to himself. 'Of course you are here. You think I would forget about you?' He noticed most of the faces of classmates and saw others that he had never met before. Time to make new friends. He was ready for a new and exciting year.
As he made it to the homeroom, Mizuki commented that she heard they had a new homeroom teacher. "Oh," Desmoshi commented with surprise. "Maybe Blank-sensei had something else to do, being that he is a pro and all." He turned off his mini player before entering the classroom. He had respect for any sensei and the classroom was always a place of instruction for him and his sister. "Good morning, sensei," the twins said in unison, Desmoshi with a smile on his face. He was different when it came to his sister. He was more postivie while she was more cautious.
Desmoshi looked at the name on the board. Wait a minute! Mizuki worked with her once on that whole "Redhorn Rampage" deal. So she is the infamous Hellhound? This was going to be an interesting year. He took his usual seat next to his sister since the room hadn't changed up much since last year. He saw Rin seated at her desk ready to learn. One day he would figure out how she was always first one in the classroom.

He was happy about food. He was happy about fighting. He was happy about... everything. How could he be so happy about coming back to class? Mizuki wondered over and over again if it was possible they were brother and sister. It could be a weird coincidence that they were not. But seeing that Desmoshi looked like their mother, and she looked like her father, their was no denying that they were twins. Not identical. But fraternal. Where he was positive, she was negative. Where he like light, she was a fan of the dark. Even their food choices were different. But no matter what, she still loved her brother. And she was happy that he was going to UA with her. Still, he was still so... loud.
"Desmoshi, turn off your music before we go into class!" Mizuki told her brother. "Why do you have to be so loud in the morning?" He went into a whole spill about exciting new adventure and friendship. This caused Mizuki to ignore him and turn to her inner self Tsuki. 'Please help me,' Mizuki begged her mentally. 'No can do, sweetie,' Tsuki replied back. 'I had my fair share of troubles with Ame when growing up. You learn to get use to it.' Get use to it? That would be the day.
Before entering into the homeroom, Desmoshi shut of his music player. Even now, he was always respectful of the classroom. That was one of the few similarities that they shared. Both twins were raised in respecting the elders that taught them. "Desmoshi," Mizuki said before entering the room. "I heard that Blank was not going to be our homeroom teacher this year." She wasn't sure of the reason. However, she was wondering who the homeroom teacher might be.
When she entered the room, she was quite surprised. It was her! Freya Valentine! What was she doing here? Then she saw her name scribbled on the board, with the Hellhound symbol. She's the homeroom teacher! Mizuki had met Valentine-sama during the Redhorn rampage. She was working rescue thanks to the authorization of the school. She always was questions about it, but she never tried to talk about it with the other students. "Good morning, sensei," the twins said in unison. Both of them took a bow before their teacher before finding a seat.

Jack couldn't help but bounce lightly up and down in excitement as he made his way to the classroom. It was a new year, and things were about to get exciting! Internships, more class activities than ever before! More chances to prove himself and improve as a potential hero and person! Sure, he may have lost the election previously, but that was ok! Today was a fresh start, a new beginning, another path opening to adventure and improvement! And to him, that was all that mattered!
ESPECIALLY. WITH. HELLHOUND AS HIS TEACHER! Jack had always been a nerd when it came to keeping tabs on Pro Heroes, so suddenly finding out that one of the most popular heroes was not only teaching at U.A., but was his main teacher too?! It was a dream come true, honestly! Of course he knew that they weren't perfect figures, but he couldn't help but be utterly excited for all that was to come this year! After all, whether it be good or bad, Jack knew well that he needed to learn above all else. That was the way that he would grow as Sirius, and how he would grow overall.
With all of this in mind, Jack would enter the classroom not long after the others had arrived. The moment his bright, violet eyes locked with his new, fiery teacher, the dragon boy gave her a bright, sharp-toothed smile. "Ohayooo, Ms. Valentine! It's nice to meet you officially!" he said, his long tail wagging happily. With that, of course, Jack would take his seat, beaming with excitement and overall happiness. While he may be a shy goofball at times, especially in the chat, people would get a true glimpse at who he was outside of it. He only hoped that his new teacher would appreciate him for what he was!

Yang
Yang sighed. A new school year. Was she ready? Only one could tell. After her daily run, she went back to the dormitory changed into the uniform that Myrkul had made sure she got. She looked into the mirror as she brushed and braided her hair. She was wearing the males uniform and sighed again. There was no way in hell she would be caught wearing the girls uniform. Luckily, she didn't see in the rules where she was forced to wear the clothes that her assigned gender is. After pushing back the thoughts of what she looked like, she begin to think about what she would need today.
This is when she rummaged around her stuff to find her book bag. She did have a book bag right? It was several moments when she finally found a bag and she was only grateful that she didn't have a roommate. She could clean her room later on in the day if she felt like it. Now that her room was in a disarray after finding her book bag, she once again dived into the mess to look for her class schedule and other things she might need in the day to include her weapons. Her book bag was just big enough to carry both of them as well as her belt that could bolster both
Before leaving, she put on her quirk regulators and hoped no one would give her grief over her uniform and her biker gloves. She couldn't help what she liked to wear. She closed the door to her room and locked it behind her and set off to her new school life. It wasn't long before she was actually in the school. She was grateful that Desmoshi was nice enough to give her an official tour of the school a while ago.
Speaking of the devil, she saw Desmoshi and Mizuki together. She smiled slightly and was about to walk over towards them. However, they managed to go into the class room before she got the opportunity too. She saw several other students enter in as well. Desmoshi mentioned something along of of a new exciting school year. This was especially true for Yang. A new school made to train/mold heroes. This was definitely different then her past life. She could only hope no one but the Principal knew the truth. It would be hard for her adjust to this new life that Myrkul practically forced her to do. But so far, she was grateful for it. She already managed to find a few new friends. Maybe this will be the year, she manages to be more than a shut in?
She entered the class room and saw Ms. Valentine. She had written her name and her Hero alias on the board for the students to read. Yang blinked before bowing respectfully towards her teacher and finding her seat. The one in the back row towards the window. She eyed it and walked over towards it as she looked at the other two students that were also in the class room. One of them also sat near the window. She had short blue hair and red eyes. The other seemed a bit too excited. He had snow white hair and a dragon tail...? Yang blinked making sure she saw it correctly. She hoped she wasn't staring at him but it was definitely interesting and it was fairly obvious it was apart of his quirk.
She quickly looked away from him and looked out the window hoping that they wouldn't have to do an introduction. Mostly they would. She was tense about having to introduce herself. Her note pad was way too small for every one in the class and right now her sign language wasn't great. After having a tea party with some first years, she realized she needed to touch up on her sign language. The library was a great help but she needed to practice still. Well if they did have to do an introduction, wouldn't this be a great opportunity to practice? Now she could only hope someone would be able to interpret for her. She sighed slightly as she dreaded this thought. Her hazel eyes with gray fleeks continued to stare out the window. She had no idea what she was supposed do do in home room. All she could do is sit and wait for the bell to ring. Then the school year would officially start for her.

Of course the students started to rush in as if on cue when she finished setting up. She is curious to see who exactly is in the class and their knowledge of their teacher. Keeping a cool expression she watched as each one came in, one after another without much thought. Their actions speak more than their words or something like that; her mentor was always the type to say those things to her.
First was Karen coming in , quirk allowed her to fly around and she seems relatively capable from what she has read up on her file. She made a strong first impression with what she did just now, more studious that she thought as she went out to change the water in the potted plant. ‘Seems like she is more polite than I thought’, remarking in her head as she watched her head out with the plant. Not a bad start for her if this was the type of kid in this class.
Desmoshi and Mizuki were the next to come in. New transfers from last year and were twins; always seen together at most times and differed in personalities. She got somewhat surprised when they both greeted her at the same time. ‘Was that a twin thing or was that on purpose?’ she thought to herself as she saw them settle down. She did note down the music that they were listening to before they came in before waiting for the next student to walk in.
After them, Jack entered the fray and he was someone she was somewhat familiar with. Watching a few festivals and not noticing him would be downright stupid considering the damage he can do with his quirk. He is somewhat energetic as he greeted her, taking a seat and waiting for class to start. A good impression of him has been noted, the school that ain't exactly the best way to gauge one's personality so we’ll see how he fairs in the introductions. 'Big Dragon Boy coming in...ok who is next'
Last but not least is Yang entering the classroom. Not much is known about her since she is a new transfer like the twins but nothing much aside from her quirk being blood related. Seems shy from her demeanor...eh she will participate nonetheless. After that last student came in, Freya said it was high time to start class.
“Alright Class, settle down!”, she opened up with. “...Always wanted to say that, Ok as you may know me, I’m Freya Valentine. Not to be confused with the other pro hero named Valentine, but you all know me as Hellhound. To start things off, I want all of you to introduce yourselves and your reason to become a hero. Cliche, I know but this is for me to know all of you and what I’m working with here. We are going to go by who arrived so you’re up Miss….?”, asking Karen to go first. She knows all of their names but this is more or less gonna be her knowing their faces and personalities rather than knowing all the cliched stuff.

One by one her fellow classmates began to show up as well. It was kind of sad that there were much fewer of them compared to last year. For their own reasons, some had to part ways with UA to pursue other ventures. This was something she had come to accept last year as a few of her close friends were among those who ended up leaving. On the bright side there were also new faces who came during the year. But still overall the classroom felt smaller than before. When the time came for class to begin their new teacher would finally speak and address them. The introduction was more of a formality. As far as she knew, everyone on the room should have been aware of their teacher's identity. Freya Valentine, better known as Hellhound, was one of the top heroes currently. While she didn't show it as much, her other classmates were definitely thrilled to have her as well. Jack in particular was more chipper than usual. Even if Freya hadn't called her, she would have been more than happy to go first with introductions. Honestly it was kind of deja vu to be doing this again. Roughly a year ago they were also introducing themselves to the class while sharing their hero aspirations. She had spoken quite a mouthful back then so she figured she'd spare her classmates the more long winded monologue, especially since some of them had already heard from her a couple of times prior. "It's a pleasure to meet you Valentine-sensei. I'm Karen Hoshizora and I was last year's class representative. Hopefully this year as well."
"My main reason for wanting to become a hero is recognition. A few of my classmates already know this from last year. Before entering UA I'd always felt that people knew me more for my family instead of my own achievements. That's what I hope to change by entering the hero program. To become a hero with my own effort and accomplishments."
"That isn't to say that I've lost sight of the values and what it means to be a hero. In fact I sincerely believe they are essential for me to be able to achieve my goals. What's important is to have your heart in the right place. For as long as you do, you can aim to be anything. Personally that means aiming high and being one of if not the best. I hope to continue with this mindset this year." Somehow she felt that was still a tad lengthy, but it was certainly an improvement from last time. It seemed she just couldn't break the habit of speaking a lot when she had the spotlight. Though to be fair last time they were also asked to elaborate on their motivations. Their new teacher didn't seem like the type to pry too much into details like that. Once she was done speaking she would return to her seat and allow the next person to stand up have their turn with introductions.

Desmoshi took his usual seat and placed his bag on the floor next to him. The room quieted down as Valentine-sensei introduced herself by her real name and her hero name. She had sharp, blue eyes and wild, red hair that was worn at shoulder length. She had canines sticking out in the upper part of her mouth and she had a glare about her that seem to say 'This is not the place for funny business'. Desmoshi took a mental note to stay on her good side as he prepared his notebook and wrote down her name for memory.
Valentine-sensei looked towards the class, asking for introductions from everyone who was present. This worried Desmoshi for a second. He could had sworn there was more people with him from last year. He hoped that everyone was okay and doing well. Maybe something important came up at home. Or maybe they decided to go with a different career or school. Either way, Desmoshi silently prayed that his old classmates were doing well.
Karen was the first to introduce herself to the class. Desmoshi never really interacted with her outside of the classroom. He had no idea that she was the representative from last year until Mizuki told him. It was always weird how this class did little to interact with one another. He hoped to change that part this year with a few things he had in mind.
'You can't get these people to interact with one another. They rather focus on themselves than to actually work together,' Ame said in the crevices of his mind. Ame sat in a meditative pose, seeing through Desmoshi's eyes. 'You sound like Mizuki,' Desmoshi replied to his spirit partner. 'I am sure once we get a chance to know everyone, this class will be tighter than baby back ribs on a barbecue plate.' The inner spirit rolled his eyes at the analogy that his partner provided. He was always so damn positive about everything. 'Idiot,' the spirit replied. 'People don't share the same ideas as you. You need to come to terms with that.'
Desmoshi's thoughts were broken when Karen took her seat and the silence returned to the room. He figured he might as well go next since no one else was volunteering. He stood up and smoothed out the wrinkles of his uniform. He gave a wide smile to the class and introduced himself. "Hi, everyone. Hello, Valentine-sensei. My name is Desmoshi Haymaker. I came here with my sister a little late in the last year," he said pointing at Mizuki, "and I am happy to be here."
The reason he wanted to be a hero. Desmoshi thought about it. He could do the whole spill about wanting to be amazing hero for attention or just to be the best of the best. But he knew that he would be lying to himself and his sensei. "My main reason for becoming a hero is to unite people as one by becoming the number one hero. I want to bring about an age where quirkers and quirkless can be one without thinking about being different or afraid one another. I know that seems impossible, even now, and I may not be the most amazing person for the job. But I am willing to give it shot and work hard towards the goal, even if others may think it as being a silly and unrealistic dream. That is why I want to be a hero."
The violence in the streets among the quirkers and quirkless was at all time high. Desmoshi knew that being the number one hero would be hard work and the title itself wouldn't bring about peace alone. But if no one tried, who will? Desmoshi sat back down and allowed the next person to introduced themselves.

Mizuki was surprised, to say the least. When she first met Valentine-sensei, she didn't seem to be the teacher type. Or 'the like kids' type. Heck, anything that dealt with kids would be the completed opposite of the wild-haired woman in front of her. And that glare. It was always there. When she told Desmoshi about her a couple of days ago, Desmoshi just shrugged it off. He had told her that maybe the teacher was a lot cooler than she thought, probably even nice. Cool, maybe. Nice... that was up for debate.
'Your brother is very confident in himself,' Tsuki mentally said to Mizuki. Desmoshi had just finished introducing himself to the class as the room went silent again. 'Or maybe he is too damn positive about everything,' Mizuki replied in her thoughts. She loved her brother, but sometimes he could be a little too upbeat about everything. But she wanted to help with his goals and see it through. He had the vision to make peace among everyone. Even if it seemed impossible to obtain, he would still give his best. But what about her.
'True. Or maybe he is just honest about who he is, no matter what they think of him,' Tuski replied back. 'What about you?' Mizuki thought about this one for a while. Desmoshi wasn't afraid to be himself, rather people like him or not. He would always be kind and helpful towards others. He would hold onto the beliefs that he had made for himself and charge for to meet a goal. But what about her? Why did she want to become a hero? 'Maybe you should go next,' Tsuki said in Mizuki's thoughts.
Mizuki kept her face calm as she stood up, but on the inside, she dreaded this part. Introducing herself to a bunch of people that may or may not like her or her brother. Quite frankly, she didn't really care for them either. Just like she had to earn their respect and trust, so did they... or least that's how she viewed it. As long as didn't mess with her brother, there would be no problems. The only good thing about this class was her brother and Yang being here with her. They had earned her respect and trust. Yuuto and Berker had earned her respect and trust. Even Valentine-sensei had her respect. But the rest of the class, she was not too sure yet. Plus if they knew the truth about the twins, would they even be their friends?
She stood up and said in a deadpan tone, "My name is Mizuki Haymaker. Like my brother said, we came here at the end of the last semester. My real reason for being a hero..." She stopped to think about it. To help people? To be a hero? To stop her father's vigilante ways? "To be honest, I don't know the answer to that. I will not provide an answer to you that sounds generic or even repeated. That's not to say anyone else's reasons in this room aren't legit. Everyone has their own goals. I cannot give you a definite answer that would sound fake to you out of respect for you. I want to be a hero to find my own answer, not what everyone else wants me to say."
Mizuki took her seat as her brother smiled ear from ear. She only told the truth. She wasn't trying to be mean about it or even smartass. And she didn't want others to change their answers based on what she said. She thought she knew what she wanted to do when she got here to UA last semester. But now it seemed she needed to find a better reason to become a hero. 'Honesty is the best quality of a hero,' Tuski said to her partner.

Jack's tail wagged anxiously as the class began. He made note of all of the people within 2-A this year; of course, noting mostly the newer arrivals in Mizuki, Yang and Desmoshi. He wasn't unfamiliar with them, remembering facing off against Desmoshi briefly during the Sports Festival. However, he was otherwise curious to see how the twins would fair this year considering their rather late arrival. He made a mental note to maybe try to gauge their abilities more personally at some point. He liked being able to draw out someone's full power, so this would be a good year to do that more.
With that, though, Ms. Valentine would call order to the class, introducing herself as Hellhound, not to be confused with the Pro Hero Valentine. Jack knew her well enough already; he had a habit of keeping tabs of most Pros that made the scene. It helped him learn more based on how they do things, and helped influence how he would do things as a Pro himself. It was a simple introduction overall, Ms. Valentine getting right into the point of this first day of class: Getting up and introducing yourself, and why you want to be a hero. Simple enough, really; even if Jack's immediate thought process was rather lengthy. He decided he would wait to go last, mostly to gather his thoughts more properly and get his head on straight.
Of course, Karen was the first one to go. She took the introduction in stride, noting that despite her initial reasoning of wanting to differentiate herself from her family, she also strove to uphold the overall ideals that a hero is supposed to represent. Being the only one of this current class that he knew, Jack held a firm respect for Karen. She knew how to get to business - that, and she was one hell of a sparring partner. Jack grinned lightly as he remembered the Sports Festival, and the hell of a time she gave him. Most certainly not one to take lightly, by any means.
Up next was Desmoshi, stating the obvious goal of being the number one Hero. Jack couldn't really help but grin, as while it was by no means his reason for becoming a hero, it was a light goal of his as well. All the more reason to put him to the test, he decided. After all, only one could really be the best of the best. While Jack was more than determined to become that himself, he more than relished the competition of it all. He shook a bit of the excitement out of his system for now. Time and place, Jack. Time and place.
After that, of course, was Mizuki. She gave a simple answer, as she didn't really know why she wanted to become a hero, at least without giving the other obvious reasons. Jack respected that at least; no need to repeat yourself much when everyone's goal at the end of the day was one and the same. A brief introduction, though of course a welcome one.
Deciding that now was a good time to put in his own answer, Jack stood...well, not tall, but he most certainly stood up straight. "Hola, Senora Valentine. My name is Jack Orion. My reason for becoming a hero...it's not exactly simple. I have many a reason to become one, after all," he started, biting his lip for a second, realizing he was about to start rambling a bit. It was a little late to stop him though, so he decided to at least know when it was time to stop.
"A big reason for me is the simple idea of freedom. I'm not going to go into it much, but my whole life, much like many Quirkers, felt like I was in a cage of sorts. I could argue that even now. My initial goal was to be able to spread my wings and be free for once...but, to do so responsibly. To use my abilities in the service of the people, to do my part in helping make a world a better place. To explore, to learn...and frankly everything in between. At the end of the day, I'm not in it for fame or whatever...I just wanna help people the best way I can. Even if, admittedly, my appearance can be rather...scary."
He stopped himself there, nodding to himself as he sat back down. It wasn't too winded, but he did at least get out most of what he wanted to say. Can't really complain about that much.

Yang
Yang was staring out the window for some time before her attention was turned to Ms. Valentine. Ms. Valentine had introduced herself and even clarified that she wasn't someone else that had a similar name. Of course to Yang, she didn't even know who Ms. Valentine was referring to. But Yang's confusion turned into pure horror. Her face dropped as soon as Ms. Valentine finished introducing herself, she wanted everyone else to return the favor. This would include Yang.
Right...this should be easy? Oh of course it isn't Ms. Valentine wanted to know why they wanted to become heroes. Yang wasn't quite sure of why she was attempting to become a Hero as of right now. This was her first time in a public school. She had been home schooled up until this point and there was a very good reason for her to be. Until her faithful encounter with the Haymaker twins, her quirk was unpredictable. It was so unpredictable that Myrkul had to create a room for her. So that if she lost control it would be contained in the room and no one would get hurt.
But now she had quirk regulators and pondered why her father didn't get these earlier. It made things so much easier of course they had their limits but Yang hasn't seen them as of yet. She figured it would take a fairly stressful situation for her quirk to over power something that was created to keep it in check.
She sighed attempting to calm her nerves as each person introduced themself. Karen was first to go and her reason of becoming a hero was because it was her personal goal to do so. It was definitely interesting. Then Desmoshi went. She already knew Desmoshi and his reason of becoming a hero. It was a noble one. Of course when Mizuki introduced herself and her reason, Yang was a bit surprised. Mizuki wasn't sure like Yang is about becoming a Hero. Yang knew that they had some stuff in common but apparently it was more than expected. The next person was Jack. The one with a tail, his reason of becoming a hero was an earnest one.
There were other students in the class but it seemed like it was Yang's turn. Uh this is where things are going to be fun. She learned in a previous encounter with other people that she needed to pick up on her sign language. However she doubted that anyone here knew sign language to begin with. She did not want to speak. There was no telling if her voice would even come out at this point.
Yang was mute and it was mostly a mental affliction that she would really not like to talk about. She sighed and rummaged through her bag. Luckily she had something to help her communicate with people rather if they know sign language or not. There were a few note cards in her bag and she had a marker. She scribbled for what seemed like minutes before she held up the note card for her classmates to see.
It read: 'Hi my name is Yang. I am mute. Like Mizuki I do not have a reason to become of why I want to be a hero.' It was a pretty simple introduction but hopefully enough for Ms. Valentine. Yang wasn't used to this and hopefully her body language expressed how uncomfortable she felt right now as she held up a note card for people to read. It wasn't long before she sat back down to hear everyone else introduce themselves to the class. She sighed heavily and hoped this was as far as it came to socializing today.

As Freya listened to each kid speak their mind and give their reason, she is slowly piecing together the types of people who come to UA. Which is something that is radically different than what she saw back at home. Granted she grew up in the city of sin and her own sense of justice is a bit more loose than the more noble ones here. But nevertheless, it gave her a rough idea of what everyone was like in terms of who she dealing with in terms of personality.
Karen is the class rep and seems to be by the book definition of someone she can rely on with paperwork and getting the job done. She has met a few types like her while on the job and they were usually the type to depend on when everything is said and done. Added bonus of being quite formal and concise with her works as she sounds more well spoken than the types of dudes who work for the Hounds.
Desmoshi and Mizuki… it feels weird to pair them up but since they are siblings they seem to be two peas in a pod when it comes to how Freya views them. The brother has solid reasoning and is rather confident in himself which is always welcome in her book. Types like him are common but that is to say its always a plus to have them here. Sister has less focus...which contrasts her and her brother quite alot as one has some focus while the other is rather lost. She cant blame her but in a hero school, these sorts of things keep a hero going through the grueling hours and she hopes that she can find a reason with time as she learns under her.
Jack is someone that is rare to say the least. Freedom is the last thing she expected to hear as an answer from a student but lo and behold here he is. His reasoning is solid which is a given and like Haymaker bro, its always welcome in her book.
Yang was the same with Muzki but again she can't fault her as she really force em to find an answer immediately. She gave a thumbs up to her as she saw her response and made it a responsibility to try and work with her.
“OKAY, that is introductions out of the way! Normally I’d want to take yall outside to showcase your quirks but since that seems a bit redundant as you may have done it a dozen times before….so lets just skip that part for the sake of ease and go to any question you have for me?”

It was interesting to hear about the aspirations of the classmates she had not spoken to much before. While a couple didn't have much to say, at least one had a pretty big goal in mind which she found impressive. It also put a few things into perspective for her. Like as much as she was aiming to be one of the best, she had not really considered seriously the implications of being a hero in terms of things like influence. It was an entirely new load of expectations to bear and live up to. Perhaps it was because she was thoroughly confident that she could handle it no matter what. But it really was a good idea to start thinking about the future with more detail and move on from vague notions. After everyone had their turn Freya would ask if they had any questions for her. Well, honestly Hellhound's reputation spoke for itself. As someone who kept up to date on hero news, Karen already had a pretty good idea about the kind of person their new teacher was and their exploits. She wondered if the veteran hero would answer questions about their private life. But did she really want to be the one to ask if Freya Valentine was seeing anyone? She chuckled to herself silently. Anyway she was the first to raise her hand again. She figured she ought to start with something more generic to get the ball rolling. "So sensei, as our new homeroom teacher, do you have any vision or expectations for the class? I can tell you right now everyone here is an excellent student. If there are any bars you'd like to set or directions you hope to take the class in, then we'd love to hear about your plans~"Perhaps some people might object, but in Karen's opinion it would be good to have a teacher that constantly challenged them. They were in their second year now and it was only right that they stepped up with their efforts.

Listening to all the others' responses, Desmoshi smiled at how different people were. Everyone wanted to aim for their own goals, and some weren't sure what those goals were. But by the end of it, it was their differences that made them unique and yet whole. Like a quilt with multiple patches. Desmoshi wondered what the year would bring them. There were the riots and then the Redhorn rampage. So he wouldn't be surprised if something else was to arise that would test them as student heroes.
Even now, Desmoshi was thinking of his plans to help out others. Yes, it would be cool to be a hero for praise and admiration. But he wanted to do it because to be an influence of good. The hate between quirkers and quirkless was probably growing more each day. And to be honest, he knew that goal was going to be a long one to obtain. But someone had to give it a shot.
Desmoshi took in Rin's question, giving it some serious thought. What were the expectations of their teachers? Most of them were pros compared to the rookies here at UA. And they had a long way to go to be considered anything like the third years. Desmoshi waited for his sensei's response.
