As Hayate lifted up the fridge he felt satisfied, that is until the door swung open and all the cold, clumpy sand dumped all on top of him AHH GODDAMMIT he thought to himself as he chucked the fridge nearby and slammed his fist into the pile of sand WHY THE HELL IS THERE EVEN A SHITTON OF SAND IN THERE THAT'S SO DUMB he thought as he started to step out of the sand pile. As he stepped out he saw Mizuki heading over on her little air scooter. Hayate freed his other leg with some help from Mizuki digging the pile of sand at his feet, she also offered to help him carry it over "I'd appreciate it, though normally it wouldn't be a problem, I just didn't expect all that sand to come tumbling out of it," he said with a slight chuckle as he picked up one side and let Mizuki have the other as they walked the bin over to the receptacle and hoisted it in. After they were done with that Hayate dusted off his hands "Thanks for the help," Hayate said with a smile "Welp, I'm gonna get back to collecting more trash," he finished before running off to find some more trash. He used his bag to create a makeshift trawling net and ran across the trash infested beach, letting the net pick up whatever he ran across This seems like a more effective way to get rid of all this smaller trash he thought to himself as he kept running across, looking back every now and then to see how full the net was getting

All I can do is be me, whoever that is. It was very kind of Mizuki to take a duck out of her own collecting to help dig Hayate out of the pile of cold sand he'd found himself buried in. Little things like that were what made good heroes better in Hachi's opinion--even if it didn't net her more "points" it was still the right thing to do. Once Hayate was freed of his sandy prison the two of them went back to their respected methods, and Hayate looked to be getting his ground back with the bag he was dragging across the beach. Good.
Meanwhile, Karen had picked up the pace, and, despite her handicap being too good at its job, was getting a better haul as she went for an untouched part of the beach and collected more recyclables from there.
Hachi glanced at the clock hanging above the door to the locker rooms. She had not set a time limit but so far it appeared like Mizuki was going to fill her bin the quickest, so it shouldn't last too much longer. Hayate was a close second though--in fact, if nothing else went wrong, the bag full of trash he'd caught up from the beach might just put him over the top...[BAD LUCK] But alas, it may have been too effective at picking things up from the beach, for as soon as Hayate would start moving things from the bag to his bin he'd feel a very sharp pinch on two of his fingers. Pulling his hand away would drag along with it a pair of...plastic cups? No, upon closer inspection, he would find it was a pair of hermit crabs, each purple in color, decently sized, and with a house made of a sturdy piece of trash. And each with their claws holding tight to his skin--not so much as to break it, but certainly to be painful. Blueberry hermit crabs weren't uncommon in Japan, but to have made their homes in all this trash?
What were the odds of that?
Hachi sighed to cover the slight smile the sight brought to her face before flying down from her perch to land at Hayate's side, her three-clawed hands moving to try and help pry the little crabs from his own. "Careful, we don't want them to break the skin. Resilient little thing, isn't it. I didn't think any animals would still be on this beach..." She chuckled, despite her best attempt. Poor Hayate. "Did you happen to cross under a ladder on the way over from campus? Or shatter a mirror?"-- The final score is: Karen: 1 + 6 = 7 Mizuki: 10 + 9 = 19 Hayate: 7 + 10 = 17 - 1 = 16 Hayate just has the shittiest luck ever. He has lost 1 point. But he has gained 2 crabs, so, hey? Mizuki wins the mini-game! You get self-satisfaction. \

She did her best but it seemed her co-interns were simply just doing better. Perhaps she did handicap herself too much. Or maybe she just wasn't too motivated about a competition to do good deeds. Whatever the result, she was pretty pleased at the system she had going collecting things properly. When she was done, she flew over to where the rest of them were gathered, not too surprised that she as the last one to arrive. "I finished collecting on my end!"The bin she had been assigned to was filled to the brim with cans and scrap metal neatly arranged and segregated so that whoever would pick them up would have an easy time checking through. It had been a while since she last did some volunteer pick-up duty so this was both nostalgic and fulfilling. Although this was probably the first time she did so aided by her quirk. Normally she'd have a team or so that she was in charge of while she participated herself. Of course her two classmates were already done ahead of her. But Hayate seemed to have gotten into a bit of trouble involving the local wildlife. Luckily their teacher was already on it so she simply looked on in case they needed an extra hand. "I've got some ointment and disinfectant in my bag if you need it."She offered, while they tried to pry the crabs loose.

Mizuki felt good to help someone else. Is that how Desmoshi felt when tried to help people? Maybe that's what it meant to be a hero. Well, no time to think about that now. Got get this done and over with. So she tried to use the fire portion. But when she started to run, the fire on her feet started to sputter and she tripped, the trash spilling everywhere. 'What the heck just happen?' she thought to herself. 'No idea,' her inner self responded. 'Try again.' Mizuki tried to ignite again but the spark just wouldn't go off.
She looked up to the other students who were making the final rounds picking up trash and she was back at square zero. 'Come on, Mizuki,' she thought to herself. 'Find the center of your storm. Find-' She focused hard, trying to draw the fire portion out. But something happen. Something different. When ever Mizuki would use the fire portion of her quirk, her eyes would turn red. But not this time. This time her eyes were yellow. A crackling sound could be heard coming from her feet as electricity filled the air. And then... Zoom. She was off. 'This is... new,' she thought to herself. Was her quirk... different? Was she wrong this whole time? She had no time to think on that now.
At high speeds, she went grabbing pieces of trash, refilling her bin, like a yellow flash of lighting striking across the stormy sky. She never felt so... alive. So not only could she use wind for speed, she could use lightning too. By the time it was all said and done, not only did she catch up with the other two, but she was able to grab a little more than them, winning the game.
'What was that?' she asked herself as the others were helping Hayate with the crab issue. 'Looks like you found your storm,' Tsuki answered with a smile in her mind. Mizuki smiled at herself. Maybe there was more to this than she realized. She hurried back to the group to check on Hayate.

Hayate was beaming as he dragged his web net across the sand picking up lots of trash, he was running around like a madman picking up a sea of trash. Everything was going great for him up until the point where he was dumping his trash into his bin and felt 2 sharp pinches on his fingers "OUUCH," he shouted as he stepped back and realized 2 plastic cups had somehow attached to his hands, but as he looked closer he realized they were not mere plastic cups, but plastic cups with crabs in them! "You sons of bitches," he cursed as he looked to see if he could pry them off his fingers but it wasn't working which is when Hachi came to the rescue, and also asked if he'd done anything to inflict some bad luck on himself "Seriously I think the universe hates me or something," he sighed as he shook his head. After a few minutes of struggle to carefully remove the crabs from his fingers the two of them were finally able to pry the crabs off his fingers with little damage. Karen had offered some ointment and disinfectant but as Hayate inspected his fingers they didn't seem to really need it "No, no they're fine, they'll probably be bruised for a little bit but they didn't seem to break the skin or do too much damage," he said as he held them up and showed his fingers which were intact and pretty undamaged

All I can do is be me, whoever that is. Poor Hayate and his impeccable luck was at least not too badly wounded by the crabs. He managed to get them off without tearing any skin, and while he showed Karen that he was alright, Hachi took the crabs and placed them atop of the hip-high stone wall that fenced in the beach. "I'll find a better place for those two than on this beach. At the very least, let's put some ice on your fingers, so they don't bruise as badly."
Once Mizuki had joined them, looking like she was in a slightly better mood now, Hachi took note of everyone's trash bags (or recycling). "I will admit, I was slightly distracted in the last seconds, but I believe before that Mizuki had managed to fill her receptacle." She gave the student a small nod. "While I do not have any sort of prize for this improvised competition, I will say that you have done well. Congratulations. All of you have shown a decent amount of skill, be it in strength or speed or control over your Quirk. And we have helped to make the beach a little cleaner." Hachi looked up at the sand. There was still some trash, but aside from a few stragglers it was looking much better.
"When the weather warms, and summer break comes, I'm sure those who visit will appreciate the effort."'
Her large, alien eyes returned to the three of them, unreadable, yet the way her head tilted just slightly implied some measure of contemplation. "I have yet to hear any distress signals in this time, but that does not mean there may not be somebody in need of help along the beach. Let's begin a patrol along it, to be sure there is nothing amiss." Hachi looked to Karen. "For this, you will be allowed to use your Quirks, but keep in mind that the distance of your headpiece is only ten meters--do not go outside of that range, or out of my sight in flight. Huntsman," she looked to Hayate, "Would it be better for you to be on the boardwalk, where there are lighting fixtures for you to swing on?"
Lastly she looked at Mizuki. "Was I correct in seeing some manner of electricity control during the game?" The words tasted sour on her tongue, a bad memory pulling at her senses, but she kept it from her voice. "I was not aware you could do that. It could be very useful, but do keep in mind that we may be working on a ship and surrounded by water or soaked civilians. Be careful--it would be too easy to accidentally shock the person you are trying to rescue, if you are not."
She'd learned that lesson the hard way, hadn't she.
"That said, can you create that sphere of wind you were using before, and use it for travel?" Hachi looked between her and Hayate next, "If you two can keep at a decent speed, it would allow for myself and Shooting Star to go quicker than if we were holding back."

Hayate declined her offer, showing that he wasn't really hurt that badly, but their teacher felt that he ought to at least cool the area. As she was aiming to be a rescue hero, she felt this was a good mindset to have. Sometimes people downplay how hurt they are or what they're feeling. It wasn't always enough to ask them how they were doing so a rescuer ought to be able to make an objective assessment themselves on a person's well being. As for the task they just completed, once again it felt good to do a good deed first thing in the morning. While she may not have won the little contest, she wasn't too behind everyone else while still setting out to meet the objectives she placed on herself. The veteran hero echoed the sentiment that when the summer season rolled in, a lot of people would appreciate the work they did on the beach today. It was true that the area certainly looked a lot cleaner than when they first arrived. Anyway it was finally time to get back to more official business. Yellow Jacket would give them an update that there had not been any distress signals so far. And that was a good thing. Again even if it meant they wouldn't see much action today, it would be entirely preferable for people to not be put in any danger or trouble especially with the kind of weather that could be brewing. Their teacher would instead offer an exercise in patroling as means of action. This was what she had been waiting for. A chance to patrol while flying was one of the main things she was looking for when looking for internship opportunities. Of course the veteran hero would stress a reminder not to venture off too far. But in Karen's case, what she really wanted to do was see how she could keep up with another flying hero. That is, Yellow Jacket might have been better off giving her a warning to keep some distance away. "Understood. I won't stray too far. I'm actually looking forward to seeing your flying up close."Naturally she wasn't a novice at flying but her way of doing so was rather different from most given her lack of wings or visible propulsion. It was always a treat then to see things from another flyer's perspective. And this time they were going on a patrol. As a hero this would probably be her everyday life in the near future. It was important then to gain as much experience and insight as possible from a veteran.

Mizuki was happy to see that Hayate was okay? What were the chances that there were crabs in the trash? Life was just weird that way. But what was that that happen earlier? Did she have something that she didn't know about? Was there more to her quirk then her dad let on? Maybe it was still fire but different. She needed to figure out what was going on. One thing for sure- she couldn't use that part while on the mission, especially one that is designed for the sea.
Haichi-sensei agreed with her when the idea of a patrol came up. Sticking with the wind portion of her quirk was probably for the best right now. Especially if she didn't want to end up frying the people they were trying to rescue. So patrolling on the ground would be for the best. Until she could figure out was going on, she would be sticking with wind and water portion of her quirk. "Understood, ma'am," Mizuki said calmly. "If I were, to be honest with you, I didn't know I could do that either. That was a first for me. But it would probably be for the best to avoid using it and sticking with the wind and water portion of my quirk- at least until I know what is going on."
Was her quirk malfunctioning? Or was their more to her that had she been running from for so long? Whatever it is, she would have to think about it later. Right now, they had a patrol to conduct.

When Hachi mentioned she'd take the two crabs somewhere more appropriate than the beach Hayate would nod "Yeah that's probably a good idea, wouldn't want them injuring anybody," Hayate would agree Maybe the depths of hell would be an appropriate place for them he'd think to himself half-joking. Hayate couldn't help but feel a small amount of pride and how well the three of them had cleaned up the beach and thought about how much fun people would be able to have come summertime now that the beach was free of junk. She then mentioned that she hadn't received any distress signals but that there was still a chance that people were in need of help and suggested a patrol in which they would be allowed the use of their quirks. When she asked if it would be easier for Hayate to patrol along the boardwalk he would nod "That would make things a lot easier for me, yes," he would confirm, while Hachi was talking to Karen and Mizuki Hayate's mind couldn't help but wander and think about how great it was that he was finally going to be able to do something hero like, patrolling the area to make sure nobody was in trouble, it was so exciting. His mind would be snapped back to reality when Hachi adressed him and Mizuki asking if they could keep up at a decent speed "I'll try my absolute hardest to not drag everybody down," Hayate would say, wanting desperately to show that he was able to keep up and work alongside a pro

All I can do is be me, whoever that is. With all three of them voicing their affirmations toward beginning the patrol, Hachi nodded, and her wings began to move as they had before--picking up speed until they were blurring to the untrained eye. Hachi hovered up a couple of feet into the air and pointed down the beach, towards the opposite end than where they had started, and said, "Shooting Star and I will fly in the center, keeping ourselves higher to allow for more vision. Footwork, keep closer to the water and keep your eyes on the horizon. Huntsman, keep to the boardwalk and be careful of civilians. If any of you see anything out of the ordinary, speak up in your headset. Remember to stay in range of the headsets unless it is absolutely necessary to break from it."
"That said," she looked back down at her students, "If I can no longer see you, and you are not in range for me to hear you, you should not use your Quirk for anything other than self-defense. That includes mobility. You will need to run until you return to a place I can see you, as is the limitation of the internship program."
"Understood?" A pause, then-- "Good. Let's begin."
Hachi wouldn't immediately take off and leave her students behind. That would be unprofessional, and it would be, to some extent, gloating. But she wouldn't wait more than a minute before she began flying toward the far side of the beach. She weaved through the misty morning air and felt the gentle bite of water on her cheeks and arms and wings but it didn't deter her any. It was refreshing, and slowly, it was warming as the dawn became the day, and April began to warm to a properly spring-like temperature.
Hachi kept her attention divided among three different places: the first was the shore, where she was keeping a watch for any civilians that might have started strolling along it; the second was the horizon, for any ships that may be passing; and lastly was, of course, her interns and their own patterns of movement. It helped having eyes that could see at a wider view distance than normal human eyes. Hopefully the street lamps and telephone poles lining the boardwalk would provide Hayate with enough places to use his webbing.
Her head turned as she saw a few ships, some nearer to the harbor and others farther at sea. From here, those father away looked almost as blue as the horizon they sat on, simple silhouettes against the brightening sky. Those closer had more detail. Fishing vessels with colorful sails and several persons milling about, either returning from an early venture or setting out for the morning. Farther than them, but not so far as to be little more than a shadow, a shipping vessel with multiple metal crates of cargo chugged along the water, likely headed towards Tokyo Harbor rather than looking to dock here. It was a little closer than normal though.
Hachi kept her eye on it. She could almost make out something near it--something smaller when compared to its large size, but likely still a good sized object up close. It didn't look like a ship. More like a maroon-ish, red-violet sand dune right against its side. Was that a whale? There were whales near Japan--whaling had been banned for a long time though--but they didn't look like that. Not that color, and certainly not the sort to come right up to the side of a shipping vessel...

Sometimes, animals gained Quirks. The possum who had become a hero was far from the first of his kind, but sometimes those who were born with a gift beyond what they had weren't also given the sentience or capabilities to understand the power they had. Such was the unfortunate case of one very, very large, and very confused eel that had begun to grow and grow and grow from the day it had hatched into something more reminiscent of a sea monster than that of your common ribbon thin, ray-finned fish. It wasn't it's fault that it had grown to nearly twenty-five meters in length. It wasn't at fault for being so, so hungry that it had migrated from farther in the sea to where it may find food elsewhere. And it wasn't it's fault that when migrating too close to shore, it had grazed the back of its inhumanly (in-eelenly?) strong dorsal fin against its side and tore a hole in its hull. It was only a fish. It didn't know any better, but the damage was done. And now it was a very frightened and very large fish. -- Tsutsuji Hachi stopped mid-flight and pointed out at the water at the sight before her and her team of interns. " On the water. Do you see that?" Her voice came out clipped, a moment of confusion and dread fading away as the scene played out before them all. Not but a mile or two away, the maroon "whale" suddenly shot up from the water--a humongous tail lined with spines that interwove fins between them burst out, the water crashing with the sudden motion--then came down with the same force that it had risen onto the ship below. The entire ship swayed in a concerning way, and although it was too far to hear the sounds clearly, there was a screech of metal and the tell-tale sound of a ship horn blaring. The head of the creature wasn't visible from their side of the ship, facing the beach, but just from the tail's ability to wrap around and tug at the boat this creature had to have been at least half the size of the ship. A beast of that size she had never seen before--even whales only grew to a fraction of such a size! It was truly like something out of a seafarer's tale. A monster lurking in the water, able to take down whole ships with a single smack of their tail...at least this one wasn't having so easy a time, but the way she could see large boxes of metal giving under the weight of its tail didn't bode well for anyone on board that boat. Well. She had been prepared for some manner of ship-centered emergency, but this hadn't been in the plans. " We are going to rescue those on board," she spoke quickly, adjusting her helmet so it was tightly attached. " Shooting Star, take Huntsman. Footwork with me. Our priority is getting the sailors to shore, not fighting that. Only once they are safe will we consider handling..." Hachi looked back at the water, then back to her interns. " ...we will likely require reinforcements but we will cross that bridge when we come to it." Tsutsuji Hachi lowered herself enough that her arm outstretched was in reach of Mizuki. With her strength, carrying a single girl was nothing. " I repeat: our focus is rescue. Get there as quickly as you can--that is a go-ahead on full speed, Shooting Star." Once she had Mizuki securely in hand (or if the girl had come up with a different method of traversing the water), Hachi took off. True to her own word she was no longer forgoing speed for the sake of the others--she flew across the open water towards the ship like a streak of black and yellow lightning. Hopefully they would be able to get there before more damage could be done. In that short amount of time, and while flying above the vast, dark sea, the three interns would have only as long as they were flying to prepare for whatever was to come next. Hopefully none of them were scared of sea monsters.

As a stickler for rules Karen relished the few moments when she could just let loose and fly. Not that she didn't take this seriously but it wasn't bad to enjoy it while she did. Following closely behind the veteran hero, she would keep an eye on the sea at the same time. She probably wasn't going to spot anything amiss before Yellow Jacket did. But at the very least she wanted to be looking at the same things that their teacher was so that she would know what exactly to look out for. Building up experience was exactly why they were here. As for the sights, there are few things as beautiful as a view of the sea from up in the air. From their current height she could see the boats and other seafaring vessels dotting the deep blue. For those closest to the shore, she could even make out the people working on the deck. As for the ones further away, she didn't immediately notice anything unusual until Yellow Jacket stopped mid-flight and pointed out one of them specifically. It didn't seem too strange at first. There was something next to a cargo ship but it wasn't too clear what it was. A few seconds later however and everyone looking would immediately understand that this was something dangerous. "I see it. That doesn't look good at all."She refrained from commenting on the absurdity of the situation. They all probably had the same thoughts on that. What was a more pressing matter was that the people on board the unfortunate vessel were in dire need of rescue. Yellow Jacket shared a similar sentiment. "Right! I only hope they're ready and willing to abandon ship." She would swiftly reply, acknowledging the hero before swooping down to pick up her classmate. The danger was obvious but sometimes people didn't make the best decisions, valuing things at the risk of endangering their lives. Hopefully that ship wasn't transporting anything too valuable to cause that kind of dilemma. "Hold on tight!"She would say as she secured Hayate and then immediately zoomed straight for the ship at her top speed. It didn't take too long before they would reach the vicinity of the vessel. The closer they got the more she could make out just how big the creature threatening the ship was. There was a chance that they might need to fight it? Could they even hurt it? It was hard not think about it despite being told to focus on rescue. She quickly scanned around for safe spot to land as they approached the compromised ship. The deck was in uproar and panic as expected. "Hunstman, can you start making a net? Some of them are heading for the lifeboats but I don't think it's safe to go into the water. I'm thinking about air-lifting the lifeboats instead once the people get on them."Coincidentally this was exactly the same suggestion that was mentioned earlier this morning when they were talking about how she would transport multiple people at once. Lifting the lifeboat herself would be dangerous but wrapping it in a net and carrying it by the net would be more stable. At least that was how she pictured it.

Mizuki was on the air scooter when the call came from her sensei. She stopped to look out towards the ocean where the boat was. It didn't seem out of the ordinary from where she and the Huntsman were at. However, Hachi-sensei stated that something was moving underneath the ship. At that moment it looked like a giant maroon whale had jumped out the water, causing the ship to sway. That can't be good. And from the tone in Hachi's voice, it wasn't.
"Understood," Mizuki answered after listening to Yellow Jacket's order. She grabbed onto her sensei's outstretched hands as they flew out towards the sea. Testing the air scooter on the water was probably not the best idea as she was still getting used to using it. She did not get a good look at the head of the thing, but from its tail alone it could probably take out the whole ship if it wanted to. But what was more concerning was the passengers on board trying to get into lifeboats. Whatever was in the water could simply take out a lifeboat- and whoever was on it.
For a small moment, Mizuki felt nervous. Not because of the creature, but that she might mess up the mission. She remembered the last time she was given an assignment during the Redhorn Incident. She was suppose to rescue everyone in a hotel and get them out safely. But she didn't give out full instructions or wait for any as she rushed into help everyone. Although she was doing her best to help everyone, she still didn't take her time and do it right. People ended up getting trapped at an exit, with no way out.
Lucky for her, that night there were others helping and they managed to get the everyone out safely. No thanks to her. And the mistake still somewhat haunted her, although everything else went okay. Partly because that was her first rescue. But some of the pros afterward pointed out her mistakes and it stung a little. Sure she was young, but she felt that those mistakes could have cost people their lives. And she didn't want the same thing to happen here.
But she needed her head in the game. She looked over to her other teammates, who seem to already had came up with a plan. She can't think about the past. Like Yellow Jacket said- working together and knowing each other was the only way they were going to win. She looked around a minute to gather the possible solutions. This may not be the same a s studying a martial art, but she could try her best to find a solution. In the end she came up with two suggestions. And even if Yellow Jacket turned both of them down, at least she knew she had tried.
"Yellow Jacket," Mizuki said thinking quickly. "We could either tell them not to get on the boat and calm them down. Or distract the creature long enough to get them to safety. I know we are not supposed to fight it, but there has be a way to buy enough time for everyone to escape safely. It's your call, ma'am" Mizuki waited for her sensei's response.

The four of them took off across the waters, two who flew and two in tow. The open water beneath them was a deep, bitterly cold expanse of green and blue, and the wavers crested with peaks of white foam. With water that cold, just diving into it could freeze up an experienced swimmer. Care would need to be taken to avoid such a fate. As they reached above the vessel the beast wrapped around it became clearer. It was indeed enormous, but it was not a squid or a leviathan, but rather it appeared to be an eel. An eel with wide eyes and a row of teeth--sorry, two rows of teeth--as long as three grown men. But the beast's head was not above water. Instead, only the side of its face was visible below the surface. Its whole body writhed and twisted, its incredibly enormous tail squeezing the boat tighter to the creak of metal too strong to break. Yet. Yellow Jacket circled overhead as she looked for a place to land that didn't put them in immediate danger. Most of the ship was filled with cargo holds, but the command room was above it, and numerous sailors that had been cut off from the rest of the ship had already moved for the upper levels. Those that had been on the other side were clinging to railing and frantically dodging crates as they were knocked around by the beast's tail. Hachi settled on the roof of the command center to land, placing Mizuki on her feet before moving aside. She had not been on a ship like this since the rain on Shinigawa. Did she prefer the gigantic eel to the likes of Thunder Shock? Hard to say. " I will go collect as many people from the other side as possible. You three, the room below will allow you to send a message over the PA--do so yourself or have the captain do it. We should gather everyone on high ground." She began to fly off, giving them another nod. " When that is done, I will trust you to preform your own rescues." And down she flew in a blur of yellow and black towards the bow of the ship. Karen, Mizuki, and Hayate were high enough to see the scale of both the beast and the ship itself. The tail was wrapped around a mountain of crates, crushing them while also cutting off the rest of the boat. However, the doors to the lower deck appeared unblocked, but nobody new was coming up from them. There couldn't be so few sailors on this boat as were visible from here, right? So then there had to be more below deck. The control room had a latch that lead up to the roof, but also a door that lead to the stairs that several other crew members were climbing up at that moment. They rushed up, pushing some smaller sailors around. They were panicking. Who wouldn't, given the situation, but that would do the heroes no favors in saving their lives. And then of course their was the eel. With another sharp shudder of its whole body it swung the tip of its tail against another column of crates, threatening to drop them over the edge of the ship and into the sea. It did appear, though, that a good amount of those on top were empty of cargo, and merely large empty metal crates. Likely meant to pick up more cargo from the Tokyo bay, had they not... ...well. Eel. Perhaps they could be of some use.

It seemed the actual evacuation would have to wait until later. At the moment the bigger issue before them was the panic and disarray that had consumed the ship. And who wouldn't be scared? Seeing it up close, the giant eel was truly massive. She followed Yellow Jacket and deposited Hayate in the same spot where Mizuki was. The veteran mentioned that someone needed to make an announcement through the PA system and then proceed with the rescue operation. She figured they only needed one person to do that. Since she was the fastest and strongest among them, she felt she should just go ahead a help where she could. "Got it. I'll leave the announcement to you guys."She would say, addressing Mizuki and Hayate after Yellow Jacket headed for the bow of the ship. Afterward, she herself would fly down to the deck. Zooming at high speed, she would deflect a couple of crates on her way that would have fallen on some sailors seeking refuge. "Head for the upper levels. Everyone's gathering there. Do you know the situation below deck? It seems some people aren't coming up."She would indeed notice that there were fewer sailors around than what would be expected from a ship this size. There could be any number of reasons why some of them aren't coming up but the sooner they did the better. After listening to the sailor's response, she would fly to the unblocked doorway to the lower levels of the ship to see what she could do. If there was something blocking the way deeper inside, then it was time to put her strength to use. She was slightly nervous entering the ship. Being inside something that was getting crushed by a giant animal was honestly dangerous. But that's also why she needed to get the people there outside. Hopefully whatever was causing the hold up wasn't beyond her capabilities.
