So, you’re here to see me work my magic, hm~?
❝ “Lead the way, I guess?” Perhaps a bit annoyed that she received such a basic answer from this supposedly experienced pro, though she had enquired so that she might set out in front of use some of the meagre knowledge she had of the area to head toward a target or in a general direction it seemed that their stuffy teacher was more interested in coddling them than giving the pair, or Eve at the very least, a chance to prove that this level of exercise was beneath their interest. Because of this immediately seeming to wear an expression that told the world she was feeling bored, after letting Blue Agate march out in front of them like a good babysitter should the dark delight folded her arms over each other and looked to the side, casually surveying the scenes around them without paying more than the minimum amount of attention to their leader. Jeez, this Valentine is about as green as they come, huh? Not really listening all that intently to the conversation that occurred between the old maid of a mentor they had received and her goody toes shoes ‘classmate’ for the moment as she sauntered along a few steps behind the pair in a subconscious effort to distance herself from them, despite this Miss Hallows couldn’t help but observe the almost painful levels of inexperience that her partner showed with her questioning, and wondered if she was this much of a total noob how the gang would deal with a problem if it cropped up in front of them. Feels like the sort who’d only fit in as someone’s sidekick? The chocolate chica clearly the sort who would get overpowered by the average mean spirited toddler and their leader not seeming like she was all that much either with her magic storing candy power, it felt like it would be handy for the black beauty if things did go wrong since it would mostly be her ‘show’, but also something of a damning indictment of the hero system if these were the kind of people waving their badges around. It was almost embarrassing really. “Did you get the villain that did it?” At the very least the conversation that occurred in front of her seeming to turn toward a topic that seemed to have a little bit of tantalization in it as the blue bag spoke of a student being beaten and kidnapped by a villain, though it intrigued Eve to note the regret she sensed in the haughty heroine that was in charge of them as she spoke of the incident, she was more interested in the outcome of the tale for the moment. Some vindictive and vengeful streak seeming to combine with a sense of sympathy for whomever it was that was involved in the situation and giving her a slight personal interest in things suddenly, the violet vixen frowned slightly as she wondered what might have happened as a result of that torrid tale, and hoped that whoever had done such a thing had gotten what they deserved…

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤It was a bit surprising to get a confession that things were really that bad lately. The government guys she had a chat with when she first got her license were pretty vague about it but Blue Agate would outright say that villains assault people right on the street. Well they actually didn't say if it was in broad daylight or late at night. If it was the latter, then the student was also at fault for being out at an irresponsible hour. In any case, it sounded like villains in Japan had gotten a bit more brazen in the last few years. Or maybe her memory was just a bit bad. To be honest she wasn't too sure how different things were now compared to when they only had vigilantes to rely on against villainous quirkers. Not that the police didn't do a good job, but sometimes you just needed that backup of a strong quirk user, especially when the one committing the crime had no reservations about using their own quirk for evil deeds. "Understood. I can see why a villain might have a grudge against people trying to be someone who could one day put them behind bars. Pick them off while they're still green I suppose."She had a better idea of the stakes at least. Patrols weren't just for the sake of appearances. Although it helps to also reassure the civilians around them that they were there to respond immediately to any trouble that might occur. That being said, she still wasn't looking forward to tangling with any villains. She had gotten into training spars with fellow heroes before when she was abroad, but no one was aiming to seriously hurt anyone. She hoped that when the time came, she would be able to properly hold back. Regardless of what they were fighting for, a hero must still show restraint. While she was satisfied with the veteran's reply, Salem seemed to be more curious about the outcome of the incident mentioned. As a rescue hero, the best result in her opinion is getting the student back safely. It would be nice to catch the villain too, but that was less her priority. "I'm hoping the student was saved at least. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that villains are the main reason for patrols. I can only wish I handle it well enough when the time comes. I've never really fought a villain before."She admitted nervously. She knew more than anyone what her quirk could do. And the thought of using it against another person with extreme force was not something she was looking forward to.

The two fresh heroes were interested to hear about the kidnapping. Junko couldnt fault them. It was a more interesting subject then any lecture. As she walked and patrolled, she answered their question "It happeend 2 years ago. The student was saved. And we have unearthed that Thundershock arranged a villain called 'Bucket' to kidnap the student." she looked at them "Yes, the villain was called Bucket. I dont choose the dumb names" she continued "Anyway, we sent a search party. The student was saved, but the villains had escaped as soon as they lost their advantage. A bunch of Vigilantes were involved in the rescue as well. Considering there were Vigilantes, Pros and Villains. As soon as everyone got their chance to escape, they did. The student was rescued, and Bucket was injured by a Vigilante before making a narrow escape. And well, after that Bucket was never seen nor heard of again. Which makes me wonder if he survived his injuries after he escaped or did he not? Or perhaps he now hid and retired. We may never know as we never found him" Junko spoke to them about the rescue that happened
While Junko wasnt there herself, she has read the reports about it and she heard a bit from the wounded student, whom she wont name. All in all, while she wasnt there, she did her research on the subject

So, you’re here to see me work my magic, hm~?
❝ “Well if there’s a villain alive who can resist those big eyes, V, you can always knock their block off with a chocolate mallet?” Still not exactly thrilled when once again the diminutive girl confessed her inexperience but perhaps something about her company helping to soften Miss Hallows just enough that she was able to offer a playful and heavily sardonic piece of encouragement to the little lass, the dark dish flashed a wink and a smirk the way of her teammate for a moment or two and part of her hoped it helped her feel a little more confident should they run into trouble. Though given the sarcasm inherent in it, there were probably even odds of that happening, really. She was doing her best though, and hopefully it would be more a case of points for trying than the actual effect of her words. “Bucket huh? Well that’s definitely the dumbest name for a villain I’ve ever known?” Perhaps the hint of humour that was shown by their leader also helping Eve to feel a little lighter around her as well, whilst that primness and stuffy seriousness seemed to remain about her bearing the young witch could at least offer a raised brow at the stupidity that was shown by this wicked criminal, and scoff in recognition of it. “And that’s quite the accomplishement on its own, I guess?” Flicking her head and hair about and then shrugging as she made little effort to hide the hilarity she found in such a ridiculous sounding name for any but a bad guy especially, the lilac gaze of the young lady lingered on her would-be mentor as she offered a jokey olive branch to her in regard to their shared sense of incredulous amusement at such a title, and maybe that might just start to nudge them in a better direction in regard to their rocky first impression. “I hope he’s gone for the sake of that poor student, but if he’s not…” Regardless of whether that was the case or not Miss Hallows for one glad to hear that the bastard responsible might have gotten what he deserved, the black beauty was happy to think that someone who would kidnap a student for any reason might have died in a ditch somewhere, but even if that wasn’t the case would have felt a certain satisfaction as well. “We can put him down again, huh? For good this time?” In a way some vengeful part of the violet vixen seeming to kind of hope that he was alive and kicking somewhere just so that the forces of justice might have the chance to not only confirm his demise on their next encounter but dish out more of what was owed for his horrible act, perhaps it made her seem a little bloodthirsty for the ebony enchantress to feel such a thrill at so sadistic a prospect she was the sort who liked to make sure debts were payed, and it sounded like this ‘Bucket’ fool might still have plenty due to him in one way or another…

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤She wanted to clarify that she had neither the strength nor physical dexterity to swing around a mallet for the purpose of knocking someone out. But then it was her fault in the first place for not giving a better demonstration of how she used her quirk. She decided to just run with the joke. "That's what makes me anxious me honestly. What if I hit them too hard? It isn't good for a hero to use excessive force right?"A kinder person might tell her that she was on the right mindset for worrying about stuff like that. But to her it was a legit concern. Villains were people too. It was so much easier dealing with accidents and natural disasters. She could go 'all out' without fretting she might hurt someone. Well maybe that was an exaggeration. If it was a disaster zone then there would obviously be people around to save. It was more the point of what she directed her her quirk at. Not people for sure. Anyway it was a relief to hear that the student was saved and the villain responsible had seemingly ceased all activities despite getting away. She couldn't help but feel out of the loop though when the veteran hero spoke about villain names so naturally as if they were supposed to know who they were. Azusa did her homework on the top heroes, but she was definitely going to have to read up on the top villains. Although this might be a good chance to learn about them from the perspective of someone experienced. "Bucket and Thundershock. Do villains come up with their own names too or is this something the government calls them? If they're famous, I've honestly never heard of them before outside Japan. Makes me curious if any other notable names we should be looking out for in this area."She didn't frame it as a question as she wasn't sure if the list was ten or a hundred. Heck it could even be more, though that would be a scary revelation. In that case she'd rather not dwell on the topic if it took too much time. It would be more like homework on her part then. Once more Salem's words would make her feel like they probably didn't have the same views on certain things. For one, the other hero seemed to be excited at the prospect of fighting a villain today. Meanwhile Azusa had been somewhat dreading it all this time. Hopefully that didn't jinx them.

"Agreed, that is the dumbest name I have ever heard." Junko agreed with Eve at that moment. And then elaborated "They say its because he masked his face by puting a bucket on it" she sighed at the stupidity of Villains. They were stupid, but they were also stupidly dangerous and a menace to society.
Eve spoke how she hopes he is gone for the sake of the poor student, but if not then they can put him down again "Yes, we shall arrest her and make him face justice. I will not allow him to escape justice in life nor death. He will pay for what he did" Junko spoke as she walked and patrolled with the two junior heroes.
Valentine meanwhile worried about using excessive force "Hmmm, I cannot tell you what is excessive. You must find that out yourself. Not all Villains are equal. Some can dish out damage but cant take it. Some can take damage, but not dish it out. Its a mixed bag, so you must feel out the terrain and know how much force you can use. I say, its all good as long as it ain't lethal. So dont worry yourself about that" Junko told Valentine
There was another thing Valentine needed. She asked if Villains come up with their names or is it what the goverment calls them. "They come up with their own names. And I am surprised you had not heard of Thundershock considering he is the most wanted Villain." she told Valentine that Thundershock was Wanted and pretty much well known, so she is surprised how Valentine has not heard of him.

So, you’re here to see me work my magic, hm~?
❝ “Hahahaha, you’re pretty hot blooded, huh?” Blinking and raising her brows in surprise at the determination and almost feisty spirit of their mentor, if she hadn’t already started warming up to Junko thus far then Miss Hallows certainly was now, and this was reflected in the smirk she showed the woman and how she quickened her pace to follow after the lead duo a bit more closely. “Maybe I had you pegged wrong as some kinda stuffed shirt desk jockey type~?” The topic of conversation seeming to move onto something that she had a genuine interest in and that perhaps affording the dark dish the chance to feel a bit more like she was on the level with her teacher for the day, the wicked witch couldn’t help but send a mischievous little line toward their leader as she shone both a grin at her and arched her brow on one side, and felt like she was beginning to warm up to the woman. Both of them really. “Hey, if it comes to the bunch better them than you, V…” Feeling a little less isolated and like she was out in the cold now that it seemed they can some common ground between them, the ebony enchantress engaged both of them more eagerly and as the chocolatier spoke of her grounded levels of confidence in a fight and how she would be worried about hurting someone Eve offered her a little bit of encouragement, albeit in an admittedly cheeky manner. “I’d rather have a pretty little thing like you knocking about than some creep like ol’ bucket head?” For some reason seeming to respond to this diminutive figure like she was a younger sister or something and that in part because of both her short stature and her innocent attitude, the violet vixen smiled at the girl and winked as she tried to offer her some assurance, and even moved to nudge her cheek playfully with the edge of her knuckle in order to leave a stronger impression with what she had said. It didn’t make her feel good to know this cutie pie was anxious, and she wanted to help that. “With Thundershock there’s Abaddon, Lady Lavande, The Painter and Pinnochio…” Unsure of whether or not her interjection into the list of top heroes was due to this feeling but at the very least a part of her wanting to maybe take the focus off the ignorance of this ingénue, Miss Hallows rattled off the names she had memorized to add to her ‘hit list’ if she ever ran into them rather readily, and paused for a second afterward as she tried to remember whatever imagery law enforcement had taken of them. “Most of them don’t sound like much, but those were the top names last time I checked?” Certainly none too impressed with the monikers of these menaces but the overview of their crimes at least seeming to catch her attention, perhaps a part of the gothic gal almost wanted to use their names as a warning for the youthful figure nearby to steer away from them if she ran into them, since it felt like any and all of them would be way more than she could handle…

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤She was glad that they were understanding about her worries. Given the choice, she'd really rather not have to hurt people. But villains were villains. Blue Agate would say that all was fine as long as it wasn't lethal. It sounded like when it came to dealing with villains there really wasn't much room to be kind. It was still kind of vague what exactly non-lethal would be, but maybe that would be her homework. Surely there were some moves she could do that would work on anyone without worrying about the force she put into it. Salem was more casual about it. Better them than us. It was not the kind of advice she was expecting but it was also true. If she put herself in danger because she held back too much, then it would be a very bad situation. It would be preferable to just stop the villain whatever it took and just get them fixed up later. "I'm... gonna need practice I guess. Until I get the hang of it, I might just stick with liquid chocolate in the meantime."She mused. The idea came from the how riot police would use water cannons to disperse people. If she used the liquid form of her quirk there was less chance she could hurt someone too badly. Although the downside was that it was far messier to use. The clean-up would be hell for whoever had to do it. When the veteran hero mentioned that it was surprising she didn't know about Thundershock, she couldn't help but blush in embarrassment. Was he really the most wanted villain? It sounded like it made a lot of sense now that they mentioned it. But back when she had taken the license exam, she never thought about inquiring on the villain situation. And they were so kind to even open the floor to questions back then. She honestly felt stupid for missing the opportunity. "I really didn't know. Back abroad it was police jurisdiction to worry about villains and criminals. I mean, of course we read up on them too, but it wasn't the main concern for us. I should really start thinking differently."Salem would go on to mention a few other supposedly notable names that she did her best to memorize. It really was the most obvious thing to know about this. Now she was feeling more unprepared than she expected. If they were the top villains, then there was probably public info on things like their quirks too. And yet here she was being ignorant and neglectful. She had to fix that as soon as she could.

Junko didnt react much. Yeah, she was hot blooded, but it was not something she would admit. But she did acknowledge the other sentence "Desk jockey? Please. I fight crime" she said But then she remembered she was also a desk person due to being a UA teacher.
They talked about how to handle villains. And then about the head honcho villains. And it looked like Salem did her homework. Junko nodded "Yes yes! Yes indeed. Those are the biggest names. Thundershock being the biggest menace. Abbadon is MIA. Lady Lavande is contained and arrested. The Painter and Pinocchio are still out there and they are yet to be stopped" Junko said as she reaffirms Salems lists and updates the girls on the status of each mentioned villain so they know the playing field.
She then went on to say "Soon, we will get a new wanted list, so we will know who are the next people we have to look out for" Junko said as she briefed them once again, saying the list will be updated soon enough. She then looked at Valentine and asked "Do you need more information on a matter or anything at all?" After all Valentine was new and she needed information

So, you’re here to see me work my magic, hm~?
❝ “Sounds like something I wouldn’t mind seeing some time, teach~” The annoyance of her mentor at the mention of her being a mere paper pusher something that made Miss Hallows smirk with delight, as Junko denied the idea so vehemently she couldn’t help but see even more shades of that hot headed nature that the woman seemed intent on concealing behind her stuffy veneer, and because of that the mischievous minx wanted to provoke her even further to reveal her true form. This secret side of their mentor something that felt like it was much more in keeping with her own stylings, while the dark dish often played things cool she had her own feistiness that could bubble to the surface and honestly it seemed sort of amusing to see the woman let loose a bit and throw off the shackles of her supercilious standing for a while. Unfortunately, it seemed events would end up dening her the opportunity for that. "E-Excuthe me? A-Are you a heewo? Can you hewp me? My cat’th got thuck in a twee and I can’t get him down?” It not taking all that many more seconds since Eve’s cheeky little comment for someone to spot the woman who stood out from the bunch by wearing a cape and decide she was ideal figure to deal with a problem, the ebony enchantress suddenly found something small and carrying an impediment to her speech because of missing teeth was tugging on her arm and looking up to her innocently, taking her by surprise and leaving the black beauty a little confused and a little annoyed for a moment. And that’s considered hero work here, is it? Getting into this whole game to serve the community by swatting those who might threaten it rather than helping folk with their day to day problems, the siren from Seattle couldn’t help but sigh and run her free hand back through her hair as a small soul looked up to her with innocent eyes, and then sagged her shoulders as she decided that this was something that ultimately she couldn’t avoid. Damnit, suppose it will have to be me, huh…? Not even considering the fact that she was on this little ‘refresher’ due to the fact that it was how she dealt with the public and the attitude she carried while doing so but rather her skillset and the fact that she had been selected by the small person, after considering the matter for a moment it seemed to make the most sense for her to take this little work break and return to the group, both because of how her abilities lined up with this magnificent task and other factors as well. As much of a pain in the ass as this is, I guess Miss Valentine needs to stick closer to the teacher than I do? Clearly not really needing the lessons in the basics like her cute little classmate did, even though this type of activity seemed the bread and butter of someone who gave off such a strong scent of sugar and spice and everything that was nice Miss Hallows knew that her destiny lay on the path in which this pint-sized little girl lay, and it didn’t hurt her intentions either that she was quietly quite the fan of cats anyway. “Thith way pweath…” “Look, I’ll uh… I guess I’ll take care of this and catch you guys up OK?” Shrugging as she decided to handle the problem personally rather than shirk her responsibilities, Eve wrapped her hand around the slim fingers of the child and sighed before waving to her fellow femmes and setting off in the direction that the innocent figure beside her dictated, and was sure that the task wouldn’t take her too long. “Now then sweetie, where’s this tree~?” This why she was here after all so it unlikely that their mentor would have a problem with her doing what she needed to, after glancing back at the twosome she had been travelling with the dark delight shook her head and marched onward, bemused by the fork in the road she had taken but at the same time happy to help the lisping little lady as much as she could… -[exit]-

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤Blue Agate would give some more detail on the supposed top villains which Azusa would do her best to memorize. Naturally as the country's most wanted, most of them were still out there and free somewhere. Pro or not, that was a thought that made her nervous. She wasn't going to pretend to be the bravest hero around. But she had faith. Her seniors abroad would tell her that she had one of the defining traits of heroes, in that they acted even without thinking in response to helping someone in need. She wouldn't be here today if not for her unlikely involvement in a certain case a couple of years ago. Encounters with villains was just going to be her new normal from here on. Most of them will be dangerous. And as Salem said it was no use worrying too much about overdoing it. "That's all very helpful, thank you. I'm definitely gonna take my time to learn more about them."There would be a small interruption in their patrol as a small child approached their group. It seems people really did approach heroes on patrol to ask for help. Fetching a cat stuck in a tree was something anyone could do, but maybe here it was best that heroes handled anything that could be remotely dangerous. And she found that thought nice. She initially expected that Salem would be more reluctant about it, given what she had seen so far but surpsisingly her fellow hero didn't put up much resistance. They were still a hero after all. She probably shouldn't have judged too quickly. As their companion left to help, the patrol continued and Azusa figured she ought to ask about that sort of thing. "I guess small things and good deeds are part of our duties too while on patrol? Do we typically just stop to help anyone? I'm not really sure how much the average citizen relies on heroes outside of crime and accidents."If she had to call it something, maybe it would be hero etiquette. Personally, she thought of herself as a nice girl all around. If the child earlier had approached her, she probably wouldn't be able to say no even if her senior told her she could ignore it or refer the child to someone else. But at the same time she didn't want to neglect her main responsibilities. At this point her idea was the number one duty was to the citizens.

Valetine thanked Junko for the info she gave. Junko replied with a polite "You're welcome" as they walked and patrolled, a child approached them and said a kitty was stuck in a tree. Junko wanted to volunteer herself, but she was surprised and taken aback when Salem of all people decided to go with the kid. Deciding to split up Junko and Valentine would continue the patrol
As they caried on Valentine spoke, asking if heroes typically just stop to help anyone? As she was not really sure how much the average citizen relies on heroes outside of crime and accidents. Junko as always thought before she eventually spoke "As heroes, it is our duty to help a civillian if they plea for some help, no matter how trivial it is. What is important is to make sure that: A) You are not walking into a trap. As a villain could pretend to be a civillian in need. So having a critical eye is always handy. And then theres B) While it is commendable you take the initiative to help a civillian. You must make sure its something where you are needed. It is not good to butt in trying to help where you are not needed and in fact are unwelcome. So all in all, it really is up to you to feel the moment. There are no set rules in stone in regards should you and how you should help a civillian in need" Junko explained

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤It was a reasonable reply. Certainly they had to be careful about getting tricked. The fact that the veteran hero had to mention this made her think that it happens more often than one would expect. Villains in Japan were quite bold in that case. It was also true that it probably wasn't a good idea to be too eager to help just anyone. Your average citizen was very much capable of fending for themselves in the face of everyday problems. Maybe rather than a direct response, she was just looking for advice or an opinion. Since she would agree with what was said without any issue. It all boiled down to experience. The longer you keep at it, the better you became at figuring out what you should and shouldn't do. As much as she had a lot of questions, she didn't want to be treated like a baby either. And so she appreciated being allowed to think for herself and not just being fed answers. "I definitely like helping people so I don't think there will be a problem there."She would say with a cheerful tone before putting on her semi-serious face again. "I don't know if I can be suspicious of people though. My first reaction is usually to treat them with good faith. But I guess Japan isn't that safe that I can afford to be too naive."She paused, thinking about what to say next. "Do you happen to have any personal experience with such tricksters or troublemakers? Villains aside, I heard the anti-quirk sentiment is still a big deal here and has caused trouble for heroes as well."
"I mean, I can always try to fight villains, but I'd be at a loss on what to do against regular citizens who just really have prejudiced views. How do you deal with those?"The law can only protect people to a certain extent. And sometimes it isn't much help.

Valentine said that she does like helping people, so no problem there. Junko smiled "Well, I am glad to hear that. It means you love what you do" she replied. But then Valentine also said that she doesnt know if she can be suspicious of people though as her first initial instinct is to help "Well, it is not good to be too naive, nor is it good to be too distrustful. Honestly, even the best of us can get tricked. I am not saying this has happened. I am just trying to think outside the box and think what a villain would do. I never heard of a case where a villain would lure a hero in a trap, pretending to be a civillian pleading for help. But I do know there is a first time for anything and everything. And frankly, I dont want to be the first nor last hero who gets lured, trapped or killed by those monsters. The key to this is all caution. No blind faith in people, but also no paranoia. There needs to be balance" Junko explained and inadvertedly answered Valentines next question.
But there was another thing Valentine asked. Anti- Quirk Sentiment "Hmmm. I am cautious of those people. Anti Quirkers are tricky. And I know they would hate me due to my own skin colour. The sad fact is that I cant hide my Quirk. When it comes to those people. Honestly... I do not know what to do aside from listen to whatever orders I get regarding them" Junko said. Principal Kobayashi or the PSC, whoever would respond, she would obey. Attacking the Quirkless was something that was... a grey area to her. Junko doesnt know what is right there. She may be a veteran. But even she does not have all the answers

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤From the response she got it sounded like Blue Agate's warning was more out of caution than personal experience. She was new but not that new. She could understand where the advice was coming from at least. She was probably giving off that newbie vibe a bit too much. Or maybe it was the veteran's teacher instincts at work. It felt weird getting a lesson like that at her age. But yes, not too cautious and not too paranoid. In her head that just meant treating everyone fairly and respectfully. "Got it. If there's anything I have a lot of it's caution. Not for hero work, but I do have experience with getting a lot of criticism. Critics can be so harsh."She'd chuckle a bit, recalling her chocolatier experiences abroad. "So being careful with my words and how I treat people has become sort of second nature. Well, I try not to relax my guard too much anyway."As for anti-quirk sentiment, Blue Agate was definitely the kind of person who might have been a target of this. The hero was right in that they couldn't exactly hide their appearance. Though the response she got wasn't much of an answer, it also made sense. Heroes were acting on behalf of the government so in any situation they weren't sure of, it was the safest bet to go by the orders from above. "Yeah you can't really give people the wrong impression. Even if they discruminate, they're still citizens. It's a little different but I've had a few haters too. You just have to be polite and professional to everyone though."Maybe it was because she had gotten a bit more comfortable around Blue Agate that Azusa ended up being a bit more casual and open with her last few replies. The senior hero gave of the impression of someone firm but reasonable. A good role model for sure and someone she could rely on. Meeting them today was lucky and the mood reflected on her cheerful expression.
