Desmoshi's stone fist collided into her block. She had some strength left. Or was it more? The two locked eyes with one another, two opposing forces that wouldn't give in. They locked eyes with one another- their wills not allowing them to budge from there position. The tension between the two could be felt throughout the arena. The unstoppable force meeting the immovable object. This brought a smile to Desmoshi's face. Not one that was condescending or cocky. It was the same smile he wore before when entered to the arena. It was a joyful smile. This was the fight that he wanted. No cares about what the crowd wanted. No violent moves that was aiming to take the other one out. This moment was the moment he wanted. A challenge he wasn't sure that he could overcome.
Desmoshi wasn't about to give up yet. With all his might, he gave one final push. The stone fist slipped past her guard. The fist collided with Iida's mid section, attempting to force as much wind out of her as possible. The force of the impact sent Iida flying across the arena floor, her body slamming to the ground with enough force to create a small crater to keep her from sliding out of the arena. Desmoshi was still standing, gasping for air. He was all out. There was nothing left in the tank. In the next few moments, his muscles will seize up and he would have trouble moving. 'Please stay down,' Desmoshi prayed to himself.
"You!" Iida didn't look like she was finish. Her body might have spoke that she was done, but her eyes told a different story. She held out her hand towards as though she was planning to use another attack. 'Not good. I thought it was over with that last hit.' Was this girl a robot? She just wouldn't quit. Desmoshi stood tall preparing to meet her attack. He wore his usual confident smile. If this fight would go on for hours and hours, he wasn't giving in. For some reason he wanted this to keep going. He felt in his very soul. But his body couldn't take anymore. That didn't stop Desmoshi from entering in his boxing stance, preparing for a round two. If he loss so be it. But he wasn't going down without a fight.
However, he was surprised. The girl look towards the crowd so he decided to follow her eyesight. He saw fans standing in there seats, cheering to top of their lungs. His parents were screaming to top of their lungs "PUNCH FOR PEACE! PUNCH FOR PEACE!" The crowd were cheering for the both of them, not wanting to see this amazing fight come to end. This was other thing that Desmoshi wanted. A world where people were happy and joyful of the heroes that were to come. No fear of quirkers and who was different. Everyone living in harmony.
Iida remarked to Desmoshi that he was lucky this time and that he better do well. And if he kept talking too much, he would recieve a lecture from her personally. With a smile of joy, Desmoshi said, "I would like that. Maybe we can actually be friends." And with that, she gave her forfeiture of the match and hopped out the arena. The announcer yelled out with a booming voice, [smear:#1979e6]"Round 1 goes to- DESMOSHI HAAAYMAKEEEERRRR!"[/smear:#e63619:3] The crowd went wild as they cheered Desmoshi on with a standing ovation, wishing him the best in the rest of the tournament. Desmoshi pumped his fists in air and yelled to top of his lungs a cry of victory. He knew that he had more rounds to and there wasn't a high possibility he could win it all. But in this moment, he wanted to enjoy it. Desmoshi battled his inner demons and came out on top. And for him, that was victory enought.
