Like a moth to a flame, she charged forward. The warehouse shook from the might of this charging bull. With each step she took, the warehouse seemed to give in with sounds of creaking metal and grinding stone. It was if the building itself was crying in pain. And yet, the man did not budge. Not yet anyway. He needed to plan each step carefully.
The beast was not thinking clearly and he was going to use that to his advantage. He couldn't help but wonder if there was some part of her that was seeing all this. Seeing the things she was doing. The way she was acting. Probably trying to hold in her puny emotions so she could be the "good guy". However, the world will finally see the true colors of their precious hero. It filled the man with so much glee.
But now was not the time to admire his handiwork. He had other things to do than to be stuck with this wet blanket all day. At the moment that her muscly tried to bring him in, he used his quirk to bounce to the side and out of the way of the rampaging monstrosity. As he pushed himself off the air, he watched as his opponent ripped the metal beam, snapping in two like a twig. The pressure from the action alone gave the man even more force to bounce off. The beam was ripped out of its spot followed by more stone debris falling from the ceiling, falling on the poor pathetic creature. He knew those huge rocks wouldn't hurt her. She took it like a champ. But the game was just getting started.
He bounced a few more times in the air and floated gently onto a metal rafter up above, sitting with his legs crossed, his hands interlaced on his lap with his axe. "You go, Twinkles!" the man taunted from above. "You show that metal beam who's boss!" He laughed hysterically at his own joke as though it was the greatest thing he ever told. After he calmed down from his laughter, he looked at the beast from above. "Listen I know I am good looking, but you're just not my type. Do appreciate the attempt of a nice, warm hug. Just not the huggy type."
He put a finger to his chin, as though he was pondering a fond memory. "Hey, you ever watch Saturday morning cartoons when you were a kid? I did. My favorite one was about this dumb cat who could never catch the clever mouse." He looked at the beast with a gloating smile. "Is that what you are, Twinkles? Are you the big ol' mean pussycat who is too dumb to catch the clever mouse?" Just a little further. Soon, he would be home free.

Mia may have been able to come up with some witty comeback about this punk thus being a mouse she was gonna squash but in her current state of mind all that flowed out was another tired roar, before bursting into something more furious as the weight of that corner of the warehouse slammed down onto her back. Where before that may have weighed her down, right now Mia wasn’t even phased, pulling her body back and throwing her arms back with it, bellowing out an impressive roar that seemed to vibrate through the flimsy metal framework of the warehouse, Mia’s golden glare turned over her shoulder to the punk that continued to elude her.
She. Needed. To smash. Him.
Reaching out blindly, finding the first thing to fill her palm Mia wrenched the metal beam holding up that corner of the building entirely, tearing it out of place till a good 12 foot of metal was being dragged behind her as she made motions towards the punk in the rafters, slowly picking up pace till she was starting into a run again, sparks flying behind her as the metal dragged against the rough concrete flooring. She spun about twice on her heels, and let loose with the metal beam, the structure spinning in the air as it flew towards her opponent to take him out of the sky, but her momentum didn’t halt, continuing to charge.
Keeping low, the momentum of her throw flowed into her hands, barrelling through the warehouse on all fours briefly like an ape before kicking off the ground once again to meet him in the air. If he tried to destroy the beem, or if he tried to dodge it, she’d find him in the path he tried to take following his attempts to avoid taking harm, her arm raised back behind her head in a tight fist, aiming to slam dunk him into the ground with a powerful fist into his ribs.

This was a wonderful time! He almost his cool a few minutes before the whole tearing-down-the-warehouse part. But, now he felt like he was in control of the fight. Sucking her into his pace. That is if she could keep up with him. His athletic talents exceeded hers. Except for the strength issue. Which was why he needed to get near the exit and fast.
His original plan was to have the gullible, but enraged hero jumped up to him. When she got close, he would smoothly move out of the way as she crashed into the ceiling. But his plan might have worked too well. He didn't account for the fact that everything in the warehouse was ammunition in the hands of this wild beast. And she was going to show him why he should have thought carefully of his plan.
The first sound he heard was her roar. What he saw next sent warning bells off in his head. The mighty, red titan had enough of him. The sound of metal ripping from concrete and the groaning sound of building preparing to give way echoed through the warehouse. She dragged the metal beam across the ground, creating sparks like fireworks on the fourth of July. The man knew in his mind that this would not end well. The next thing that happened showed how smart the beast was in her enraged state. The metal beam flew up into the air like a missile- aiming straight for him!
"Screw that!" he yelled, his face filled with fear and angst. He jumped off the metal rafter as he leapt away just in the nick of time. The metal beam tore through the rafter and continued its destructive path, creating a giant hole in the now destroyed ceiling. It rained Whoever that beam landed on was going to have on heck of a bad day! But he was more concerned with his well being at the moment.
The moonlight shined gloriously through the hole upon the red beast who had ascended into the air to meet him. He saw the eyes of someone angry. Someone who was not human anymore. Someone who has had enough of his bullcrap. He felt the blistering heat from her hand as it grabbed his face. The second hand was balled into a fist that had once again found contact with his already crushed ribs. He would cough up more blood but only it sizzled in the heat of the beast's palm. He knew what was coming next. He could feel it in his soul. This woman wanted to break him. She wanted him to feel every ounce of anger she felt. And the concrete would aid wonderfully in his destruction.
But he was having none that! The cracked ribs were the reminder that he had very little time left. Both for his escape and his bones. They picked up speed as they both descended back to the concrete floor, now filled with pieces and concrete from eh destruction that ensued here tonight. So as she was bringing him towards the ground to meet his fate, he did something desperate.
He aimed his hands behind her head. No point in aiming for her. It wouldn't do him any good. He activated his quirk to push against the air again, wrenching himself away from her grip. He met the ground hard, pieces of glass and metal pierced his skin. No worries. Nothing a few tattoos couldn't fix.
But no time to think about that right now. He was on the ground the air, knocked out of him, but fear kept him conscious and alert. No time to stop. He needed to move. A giant red demon was still making its descent upon him, and he knew he was as good as dead if he stayed there. He put his quirk to work as he pushed off the air, sliding himself across the floor. The force of her impact pushed him even further, again skidding across the floor as the concrete spot she landed on shattered into millions of pieces.
He continued to skid along the ground, each bounce more painful than the next. What stopped him was a metal beam, his head making hard contact as it sent loud ring through it. 'Yes!' he thought to himself. This is what he was aiming for- the last beam. But he lost his axe in the chaos. He had enough juice left to take the beam down and jump out the nearest window. He was hurting, but he was an athlete. He would push through the pain.
"Not to say it's been fun, Twinkles," the man said with a smile. "But I got bigger plans. None of them that include you, I'm afraid. So let's just wrap this up." And with the rest of his quirk, he balled his hand into a fist. He wasn't as strong as her, but the warehouse had taken enough damage for him to pull this off. With the last of his strength and quirk, he repelled the air to create enough force to cave the beam in, ripping it out of its spot as the screws came flying loose. "London Bridge is falling done!" he yelled as he leapt out the nearest window.
He watched from the outside as the warehouse came down. It was like an explosion had went off in the building as the force pushed the man away from the warehouse. He skidded until landed against his car, creating a huge dent in his convertible. He was bleeding heavily and his clothes were in ruins. He would fix it later.
As the smoke cleared, he admired his work. The warehouse laid in ruins, hopefully with the beast trapped beneath the rubble. "Well love to stay," the man said with a smile as he hopped into his convertible. "But I have other things to do. Catch you around, Twinkles."
The man wondered how he was getting away with this. It didn't feel like a victory, but he would take it. He was alive and that was what counts. And Redhorn? Well, she could deal with the mess. He started the engine and prepared to drive off into the night. Was it really over?

Mia felt the satisfaction of contact with her target, but it did little to quell her beastly rage. She had him now, she could let it all out and stop this agonizing maelstrom of anger in her head and maybe get some conscious thought rising back to the surface, but as they hit the ground her victory was short lived as the wormy goon escaped her once again, just as she raised her arms in the hopes of smashing his ugly mugg inside out. A bellowing roar came out after him as he tried to escape, not hesitating in the moments that followed as she rushed towards him, knuckles hitting the ground as she barrelled after him like a mad ape, only to be halted by the disconcerting rumbling of the structure around her. She didn’t stop entirely of course, she was too angry for that, but the brief hesitation caused by looking to her surroundings was all he needed to jump out the window, leaving her just barely missing a grasp at his ankles before the structure started to slam down around her.
She barely felt it. But she felt it all too much. It burned against her skin, already pulled to it’s limit as it stretched and thinned yet also somehow hardened around the immense amount of muscle she was holding within herself. Even as each slam stung against her though, her mind was numb, thinking of only one thing as the weight of the warehouse structure that had lingered above her head crashed down into her. She wanted to smash his face in even harder. Blindly, she reached out, sore hands, burning hands, latching onto the edge of something hard and firm, feeling it bend as she sunk her fingers into it… but it would do.
Before the punk knew it, even as he thought he was getting away in that fucked up car of his, Mia hadn’t just emerged from the rubble, she was soaring, her body launched like a rocket from the mess of a warehouse. Her elbow slammed hard against the air behind her, toying with her trajectory and where she may have blindly overshot, she was now coming down like a bullet towards the punk, a metal beam in her grasp, SLAMMING through the hood of his car, penetrating the engine and embedding itself in the tarmac beneath the car. Even if by some miracle she’d in fact missed the engine… he wasn’t going anywhere in this anytime soon.
With a low growl in her throat… wild anger turned to deep, burning frustration, moving more slowly around the outside of the car, ripping the door off without a second thought and lashing out to take him before he could fully move in his fearful state. He was tired. She was tired with him… but for just a moment she wanted to let it sink in what he’d done. Who he’d messed with. What he was about to do to her. With a paw of a hand wrapped tightly around his throat, she glared into his eyes… just waiting for that last breath…

The engine to his vehicle roared to life. He was surprised that it somewhat made it through this mess. As he slowly pulled away from the crumbled warehouse, he thought about all the moments the people had criticized him. The Sports Commission. The reporters. The fans. For the first time, even though he knew he didn't truly beat the hero, he felt like the winner. He was going to get away scot-free, no questions asked. Meanwhile, the big red dummy would be taking the fall for his art. His beautiful art. How well did it feel to outsmart one of the strongest heroes in Japan? It felt wonderful! It felt amazing! It felt...
The explosion of stone and metal followed by a loud roar caused him to jump in his seat. Could it be? No! Not like this! He looked up into the starry sky and saw it. The beast was not done. She was flying overhead, looking down at the man in the car. The red energy swirled around her, making her look like a blazing red comet filled with rage. It only had one target in mind. He didn't have time to react. It was like everything was in slow motion. It was a moment where someone knew something bad was going to happen, but they knew there was no escape from it. The man's eyes went wide with fear, following the beast's trajectory and where it would land.
'How?!' was the only question that ran through his mind as the beast landed into his car. It all happened so fast. He knew there was no need to stomp on the brakes, but he tried in vain. This monster was stopping his car- just not how intended it to. The red beast's body drilled through the hood like a jackhammer penetrating concrete, taking the engine block with her and crushing it into the pavement. The car nosedive a bit, sending its driver headfirst into the windshield. The sound of a crack skull could be heard as glass penetrated his face and he was sent reeling back into his driver seat. The concrete below the enraged hero and the car became a giant-sized crater beneath them, as though a meteor had hit the place. This could be heard, the crunching sound ringing through the warehouse district.
Then silence. The man came to. His vision was blurred. It was a bad dream. It had to be. The warehouse, his lost to fame, the beast. All of it was a dream. But when his vision returned, he realized that all of this was real. And there it stood. The red beast. The one they called the greatest hero. The one they called Redhorn. It felt like her energy and anger was melting the plastic of the seat, sticking him to it. Her gold horn glimmered in the moonlight, shining with the pride of a hunter claiming its prey. The heat from her breath as she growled fogged up the now shattered windshield of the destroyed car. But what was more frightening was her eyes. They glowed fiercely in the night, as though to tell the man that he had breathed his last.
His mind broke. He laughed. But it wasn't a laugh of victory or teasing. It was a laugh of a man who had gone insane from seeing something truly frightening. A man who could see his death as it stared him in his face. "You think you won?" he asked the raging titan as his mind slipped into insanity and fear. "You are a loser! You think you are so great, don't you? Do you think you are better than everyone? Than me?! Well, guess what, rocks-for-brains? You are just like me!" He couldn't move, but his head tilted slightly back to the now-destroyed warehouse, an insane smile plastering his face. "Look at all the destruction you caused, just to catch little ole' me. You are just as bad as the villains you put away and fight. Hell, you are a villain! Admit it, Twinkles. You are just like me! And the people will hate you, just like they hated me." He looked her in the eyes, the fear and insanity mixed with the acceptance of his end. "Go on then. KILL ME! YOU HAVE BEEN WANTING TO DO IT ALL NIGHT! JUST DO IT YOU FREAK! BECOME. JUST. LIKE. ME!"
What would be the hero's next move as she watched her target devolve into pure insanity and fear?

Mia's dull mind could barely hear his rageful roars and spiteful words spat back against her face, her golden eyes glaring at him harshly but the words piercing just enough to get to the conscious mind buried beneath the surface, and a furious, raging storm was slowly being overtaken by the boiling seas below. She didn't cull recognize it, but he was right. She was a mess, an animal, a beast. She still thought she was more than him but what evidence did she have to that face. Through thick teeth she growled deep and low, a cracking sound beneath her fingers as she started to damage his neck, or at the very least, coming close to doing so...
Pushing above the desires of her rageful mind she forced something it could agree with that would do both of them the world of good. Comparatively speaking. She delivered the blunt front of her horn to the punk's forehead, delivering enough force to knock him unconscious, but also leaving Mia screeching in pain as she fell backwards, clutching her own forehead, thrasing and kicking as the mindless beast she was.. but enduring the pain and the agony until the euphoria of it fading let to a calm in the storm, panting harshly as she lay on her back, sweating, the red, leathery skin fading to a paler peach than what she had been before, just... recovering as she headbutted the beast back under the surface, her prey captured and unconscious... and plenty of time to just breathe, refocus her mind.
(I'll hand the thread in here, thanks for taking over)
