"Aye, so is mine. It's all a matter of control, no matter what you're using it for, if you're using it at all. The gym'll be fine, I'll make sure nothing bad ends up happening." Jack reassured her, showing a light amount of confidence in his abilities. He knew fully well how destructive a dragon can be; he was one, after all. People like them did have to keep control over themselves, lest they rampage in anger. And, in today's world...lord knows the consequences that would come as a result. All the more reason to help her out, Jack supposed. Plus...having another dragon as a friend would ease his nerves on the matter, even if only lightly.
Once the idea was settled, Jack and Nakiya would promptly head inside her house. Not even a moment after they closed the door, Nakiya found herself on the recieving end of a motherly hug, the woman literally flying from where she was. Jack squeaked in alarm, not really expecting the sudden action. However, he quickly recovered his witts, though he did seem a bit shocked.
His face then turned into an expression he honestly never made before...at least not in a long while. The way Nakiya's mother cooed over her, worried as all hell as she probed the dragon girl...it made his heart tug a little bit, though he didn't show it past a light frown. He didn't exactly have that kind of parent growing up...sure, he and his folks were on good terms and talked a lot more, but...Jack simply let out a light grunt, looking away from the scene and scratching the back of his head.
Attention was then quickly turned to Jack as Nakiya explained what had happened, albiet with omitted details. Jack raised an eyebrow when she said that nothing had actually happened, his mind shifting to the wound on her hand. It was at least bandaged up, but still...probably something that should be looked at, no?
Before he could say anything to that effect, though, a man's voice suddenly broke through, thanking Jack for helping their daughter out. As the man approached, Jack could make out the tail and red scales that he had, which, along with the wings that Nakiya's mother had...well, it explained her Quirk. A happy, loving, Quirker family...? Jack would be lying if he said that he wasn't a little jealous. At the same time, though, a massive worry was raised from Jack's shoulders. It seemed like Nakiya had a good place to come back to...she was definitely safe, and that was all he could really ask for.
"She wasn't any trouble, sir. No worries there. I was just in the area when I came across her and the boys. Speaking of which..." he started, then suddenly looking back at Nakiya. "What school did you say you went to, again? I'll be stopping by tomorrow to drop off that video I took. Not letting those guys off the hook for what they tried to pull," he asked, his tail swishing lightly from side to side. If he could sweat, though, the dragon boy defintely would be currently. He didn't really know what her parents would think of his request, much less, as they would probably get a better look at him, realize that he wasn't too unlike their daughter. Whether that would be a good or bad thing would remain to be seen.
