Happiness of the Past [Meiko] [Flashback]

Alaster was honestly very surprised with how excited he was. This was such a strange feeling. Being this happy because of a reason other than Meiko? Even murder and torture did not get him this enthused! Only Meiko had ever made him feel cheerier than he was feeling right now. Good lord, I missed out on so much! Bloody drunk bastard ruining my childhood!

But even the memory of his arse of a father was not enough to bring down Alaster's mood. Meiko's assurance that they could go ride again, plus the sweet kiss on the cheek prior to that, it made any and all negative thoughts evaporate instantly. He just wanted to focus on having a fun time. Not just that, he wanted to focus on Meiko having fun too. This would not be a fun time if she was not having a fun time too. Though hearing her honestly very adorable squeeing earlier, Alaster could tell that she was also enjoying herself.

After the kiss on the forehead and hearing her beautiful voice (seriously, Meiko's voice was simply divine!), Alaster nodded, smiling cheerfully as he decided it was his turn to kiss his beloved angel's forehead. "Yes. Thank you, my love!" And with that, it was time for round two of Space Mountain. Even while knowing what to expect this time around, it did not make the ride any less exhilarating. Once again, Alaster let out a shout of joy as the ride.

"Yeeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhh!!"

But of course, there was that old saying. Time flies when having fun. So the ride was over in what seemed to be a blink of an eye. Still, it was very much worth it. To actually forget about his troubles for even a moment. To actually not feel like a psychotic demon for once. To actually feel like a regular person having the time of his life with the woman he loved above all else.

Alaster smiled as he gave Meiko another kiss on the forehead. "I would have brought you here sooner if I knew how much fun this was going to be!" But hey, better late than never, right? "Okay, I won't get too greedy. We can move on from Space Mountain now." Unless Meiko wanted to go again, in which case, her wish was his command. "Where do you want to go? Since I had a fun time at a ride I chose, I want to take you somewhere you want to go." It was only fair, after all. Why should Alaster be the one making all of the decisions and expect Meiko to just go along with his every whim? He was not the kind of person to just ignore his lover's desires. If she wanted to do something, he would listen and give her whatever she wants.

Seeing Meiko having a good time made Alaster smile. Seeing her so happy made him happy as well. Nothing else could ever bring him this much joy, not even bloody murder. Whatever made her happy, Alaster would get for her. Even if she wanted to just spend the rest of the day on this one ride (which was awfully tempting with how fun it was), that was more than fine. Anything to make Meiko smile so adorably like that.

But it seemed as though as tempting as it was to go again, Meiko wished to head somewhere else now. "Very well, love. Let's go find a ride as fun as this one. Maybe one even better!" And with that, it was time to head off on an adventure! A kiss on the nose, and Alaster was in a cheerful mood as he and Meiko walked together to their next destination, wherever that may be.

A bit of walking around, and the two would eventually find themselves in front of one of the gift shops. "Let's see if there's anything worthwhile in here." It was rather fortunate that the shop was not as crowded as Alaster thought it would be. Plenty of idiots around, sure, but thankfully none that were getting in the way. So now it was time to look around and see what to buy. Various plushies, candy, clothes, accessories, and more. "Do you see anything you like? I'll get it for you. I don't care what it is or how much it costs." Meiko was like a princess, far more beautiful than all the ones in this amusement park. She deserved to be spoiled with nice things. She deserved to have everything she wants. Anything that makes her happy. Anything for Meiko.

Alaster's eyes fell on one of the shelves with the hairbands that had mouse ears sticking out. The urge to laugh at seeing these things was intense. They looked so ridiculous! Who would even want to put one of these ridiculous things on? Unless it was Meiko, then it was okay, and Alaster would buy whichever one(s) she wanted. Hell, in that case, he would buy one for himself too so he could match her.

In terms of himself, Alaster was not really very picky with what he wanted. Perhaps a shirt to remember this day by. Oh, and maybe a few candies and chocolates. Alaster did not exactly have a sweet tooth, but he never had a problem with them either. Plus, he could give some to Meiko.

After buying a few or a lot of things (depending of whether or not Meiko wanted to get anything there), it was time to resume their adventure! Holding his beloved's hands so that the crowd of moronic humans did not threaten to part the duo, Alaster walked around with her some more. Funnily enough, the villain couple's adventure would next take them to Adventureland. Alaster looked around for a bit, seeing all the attractions this place had to offer. Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expeditions, Swiss Family Treehouse, Western River Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean... What to choose? Alaster then noticed one other attraction and resisted the urge to visibly cringe. An attraction based on some Hawaiian thing Alaster never heard of. He had no interest in anything Hawaiian, having been ruined in his eyes by a certain Hawaiian vigilante.

"Any of these catches your eye, my love?" As usual, Alaster preferred to see if Meiko had her own choice in where she wanted to go before making his own choice for himself. Unless her choice was for him to make a choice. That was fine too. But either way, ladies first!
